Youtube daily report w Oct 25 2017

good morning guys how are you today is the second day after my surgery I slept

a lot better last night and I did sleep and they reclined her in the living room

again last night but I am still really sore but better

than what I was so I'm testing out thing tonight and everything and yes I suppose

that pillow there tell me to use it when I got up and down and stuff but I'm also

kind of using it because if one of the dogs jump up there's some protection

which none of them have jumped up on my stomach or anything yet but just in case

I want to have some protection right there I'm not able to get in the shower

till tomorrow but kind of just did you know just did a sponge bath this morning

and change my pyjamas did all that and if you are wondering why yesterday I did

not have like any tape or anything on my incisions it is because they put glue on

top of my stitches which are dissolvable so that is one of the reasons they

didn't put tape on top of them so that is because they put that glue and I will

try to show them to you a little bit later they look a lot better than what

he did yesterday they still not don't look you know probably as good as what

people think but they they do look a lot better than what they did yesterday so I

will try to remember to show you guys later

and Sammy Bear is pretty happy he is he says I have not been able my mommy's

been sleeping in this very the last two days what am I supposed to do

can you guys believe after this video goes

it will be my 200th video which and starting at 201 will be season 3 that's

ash daily vlogs you guys believe that it just seems like the other day that I

started vlogging and doing this on a regular basis and getting better at this

and everything and now it's like why does time go I mean how did I do that

many videos so quickly and everything it just seems like the other day I was up

like 100 or you know even below that I just think that that's amazing how fast

time goes by I hope you guys are enjoying this channel again thank you to

all my subscribers I love you guys for all your prayers for all your well

wishes I just I think I have some of the best subscribers that there are and I

really do appreciate you guys every day that you guys are watching me and that

you guys are there for me and everything like that so um I don't know how else to

I'm still like I said really sore and the more I move around the floor em but

I also need to move around also I don't want to just be there all the time

because you couldn't work that's where miss out also

sorry the these vlogs were probably the mix two days two week are going to be

really boring because I can't do that much and I do apologize for that but I

will go ahead and they will probably be quite a bit shorter then

usual ones I'm trying to make them a little bit longer but it's delivered to

edit and do stuff like that little I'm also trying to keep what I do as short

as possible so I don't have to give it as much also yes I heard so let's just I

will show you guys if you guys get kindness women share anything like that

then you might not want to watch this next part but I will show you what they

Hello and welcome to 6 Minute English.

I'm Rob and joining me in the studio today is Jennifer.

Welcome, Jennifer!

Hi there.

Now Rob, I believe our subject for discussion this week is a load

of rubbish?!

I wouldn't put it exactly like that.

We are talking about rubbish – or to use another word – junk – and hearing some

language about a subject that is out of this world – space junk.

Yes, here on planet Earth we don't like seeing rubbish or litter on our

streets but in space the problem is far more serious and it could even be

catastrophic – so it could lead to a serious disaster.

Well, we'll hear more about that in a moment and also find out how

scientists are going to clear up this mess.

But, before that, I think we should blast off with a space-related question.

Now, did you know, the Russian satellite, Sputnik, was the first

man-made object to be blasted into space?

Do you know in which year it was launched?

a) 1957 b) 1960

c) 1967

I think it was in the sixties perhaps so I'm going to say b) 1960.

Well, we will find out if you are right at the end of the programme.

So, we've mentioned that junk – or debris

– floating around in space is a big problem.

It can take a long time to tidy up your house so imagine the

challenge that lies ahead in tidying up the great mess in outer space.

That's something that's been discussed at a recent conference on space

debris in Germany.

Well, tidying up space is not something I would like to do!

But how did all this rubbish end up floating about up there

in the first place?

A good question.

For the past 50 years, man has been sending objects like

rockets and satellites into orbit.

In fact, even now around 70 satellites are sent into space every year.

But when they are no longer needed they are just left up there and not disposed of – or

put away somewhere where they won't cause harm.

They were never designed to be brought back down to Earth.

These old fragments – or bits of technology continue to circle the Earth

and become a threat to spacecraft which are operating up there.

In 2009, for example, two satellites accidently hit

each other – or collided - causing them to break into small pieces.

That's added to the millions of small pieces of junk that are just floating

around that might never be recovered – in other words collected and

brought back down to Earth.

Let's hear more about this Professor Richard Crowther, Chief Engineer at the UK Space Agency.

What other issue does he compare this problem with?

Professor Richard Crowther, Chief Engineer at the UK Space Agency:

Perhaps the most alarming factor is, even if we stop launching anything in to orbit

from now on we would still see collisions occurring

between satellites currently up there.

But we recognise that if we want to actively manage

this problem we have to do something now.

It's like global warming – we're not 100% certain that a certain scenario will

occur but we have a pretty good idea of what's

dominating and what's influencing the evolution.

Professor Crowther mentioned an 'alarming factor', so a very worrying

piece of information, that even if we didn't put any more objects into

space there is already a risk of the current satellites hitting each other.

These satellites are the ones that we depend on for communications,

watching TV, weather forecasting and for using satellite navigation –

satnavs.

Well, that's why he says we have to do something now.

He predicts catastrophic – or very bad - collisions

could occur every five to nine years unless something is done.

He compares the problem with global warming.

It's serious.

We're not sure what might happen in the future but we do

need to protect against it.

Maybe they need a huge vacuum cleaner, or what about a giant magnet to

gather up all that metal clutter?

Hmm, I think you're talking rubbish – or saying things that will never

happen.

But there are some more realistic ideas being developed such as

using nets, lasers to destroy the pieces of junk and a harpoon to catch

them.

It sounds like science-fiction – something you just read about in stories.

But are these ideas really being developed?

Yes, although research is in its very early stages.

A harpoon could be fired at a redundant - or no longer working - satellite

and then it would be pulled downwards to burn up in the atmosphere.

But, surely up in space, lasers and harpoons might be thought of as

weapons which could be used in a space war?

Well, according to Professor Richard Crowther, it is something that will

need managing.

What does he suggest?

If you've watched James Bond films over the years, you know that anything with a

harpoon, with a laser, with a net in space, has the potential to grab another spacecraft

and destroy it, so what we need to do is build reassurance within the space community

and demonstrate that the systems being proposed are peaceful in their nature but also

peaceful in the intent and the way in which they are going to be used.

He talked about reassuring – or explaining – that the new technology is of

a peaceful nature.

That means it's not for use in war or violence.

He says the intent – or the purpose behind using

What Is The Root Of Suffering? | J. Krishnamurti - Duration: 10:56.

Hello everyone my name is Andrew and welcome to the video.

So I had a discussion the other day with a friend and we talked about the root of our

suffering.

We talked about, like what's actually going, on looking at other people out there, in daily

life and just kind of seeing ourselves in these other people as well, seeing how we're

so much alike, because I remember Krishnamurti saying, "I am the world and the world is

I" or "You are the world and the world is you".

The first time I've heard that, I heard it as just an idea a concept, it wasn't a burning

reality, it wasn't concrete and grounded as factual.

It was just like a like a saying, but as I listened to it again and again and and tried

to see exactly, what all entails in that combination of words the world is I, and the world is

me) So this Consciousness, the anxieties, the jealousies, the fears, the loneliness,

etc.

All those all those things are what every person is going through.

It is what I'm going through, it's what the person a million miles away across the world

or just five miles down the road, this is what they're going through as well.

And it may be modified and changed, expressed differently on the surface, but that is totally

irrelevant, because we all stand on the same ground, that same consciousness, that is the

the root of all of this suffering and pain, but we don't see it this way, we complicate

it, it's like we try to solve our problems when we are the actual problem ourselves.

So we just further our fears, our jealousy's, our anxieties, our loneliness.

We just take it further and further and further, because we keep trying to, to fix it.

And what has gotten us into this habit of trying to solve problems?

Why are there even problems?

So we, we create problems right?

Problems are not just naturally there, we create them and why do we create problems?

Why do we like to invent these problems?

Because when I was thinking about back in school, it's like we go to school, and what

are we being educated for?

We go to school in order to solve problems, but the teacher makes up problems, to give

us these problems and we have to solve them, and I understand that we need that, in like

mathematics and certain things, but that mindset, that mentality has kind of trickled over into

our relationships.

So I question, why do we need problem solving in our relationships?

Now I feel like problems, I feel like we create them because they make us feel that we are

improving ourselves if we find a problem with our self, then we feel like, "Okay, now

that I've established this problem that I have, I can find a solution and with that

solution, I can improve myself, I can become better."

So I got to find out my flaws, my mistakes, but is there a psychological becoming?

Does that even exist?

Because whatever it is we are trying to become, is merely another concept, another image,

that is of the past and the past is always gone, it's not here.

So it seems so silly to me now when I think about how I was always trying to struggle

and struggle to improve myself, in many aspects of life.

So what is the root of all this?

We mentioned about how the problem is also the solution.

Whatever solution we come to brings about a new problem and it just never ends.

So every problem we approach, we try to find a solution that brings another problem, so

therefore, I am the problem.

So what am I?

I am thought, I am memory of the past, so therefore, the root of suffering involves

thought, but since we're also trying to become, we're trying to improve ourselves, we say,

"I want to become this."

Which implies, I want to become something better in the future.

So time needs to also be understood.

So thought and time are factors, are involved in the root of suffering right?

So I feel like if we can go into these together and understand them, deeply, not just as an

idea, as knowledge, but to really see them factually, actually, what they are, then

there's no oscillating between, "Is this right?" or "Is this wrong?"

There's no confusion or vagueness, it's clear, like we're grounded.

Whereas, if we're living off of ideas and concepts and answers and solutions, which

is what we are normally doing right now, that's how we've been trained, then we will continue

this cycle of fear going on.

Fear of not becoming this, fear of this might happen, fear of what shouldn't be, of what

should be, and the whole anxiety, jealousy, depression, all that, that comes with that.

So we're trying to figure out, what is the root of all this?

We have the root and then we have the tree of fear and now the trees and the branches

and the leaves, those are all the problems and the solutions and the ideas and the concepts,

because those are like the expression of those.

I'm unhappy because I am overweight or I am depressed or I lost my job the other day,

all of these are like leaves and branches and it's like when I say, "I'm overweight,

I need to exercise."

That's fiddling with more leaves and when you pluck the leaves in order to solve the

problem, the leaves grow back, there's always another problem.

So when we talk about the root of suffering, we have to go down deeper into the soil, we

got to go to the ground of the tree, where the root is and when we understand the root

of it, then the whole tree, when we pluck the root the whole tree is gone, and there

is space, there's energy to live in goodness, healthy, whole sane.

Not fragmented, not confused, not sure what to do, what I should do, and what continues

after that.

So yeah, I thought this was pretty interesting to think about, that's that's all I want to

Colin Kaepernick started a trend in the National Football League that has no place in sports.

Just when the season started again this year without him, Americans thought that the protesting

would have ended with his career.

Unfortunately, the disrespectful antics are back with several players already having defiantly

sat out for the National Anthem at their preseason-opening games.

Despite the massive call to boycott the NFL, the protests among the players will only be

getting worse now that Kaepernick has just been honored with a permanent position that's

never been done before.

If the honor he was just given isn't bad enough, the reason for it will surely infuriate

all patriots.

Many players saw what Kaepernick did and his inability to get on a team the following season,

and rather than learning from that bad decision, they repeated it.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, there's a time and a place for this and

it's not in sports.

Evidently, a set of officials disagrees that sports and politics shouldn't mix.

Not only are these historians recognizing his kneeling as a great achievement in his

career but have decided to honor it by making it a permanent part of our history, beyond

just a bad memory.

Kaepernick personally derailed his chances of ever being inducted into the Hall of Fame,

due to his own lack of athletic performance on the field.

Now he's been given the honor of his own exhibit for his anti-American protests, at

the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

If attention and notoriety are what he wanted, which seems to be the case, he certainly got

that.

Other athletes will continue down this path after him seeing that it's something they

could be celebrated for long after they retire.

With this major honor that will remain in the museum for years to come, the chances

of protests becoming a thing of the past is pretty much gone.

Ultimately, it's attention that these athletes are after and they see that they can get it.

Rush Limbaugh was quick to criticize the museum for their decision:

Yahoo Sports is reporting that Colin Kaepernick is going to get his own exhibit at the National

Museum of African American History and Culture.

Man, it doesn't take much, apparently, to get your own exhibit.

Fail as a quarterback in the NFL, and you get your exhibit.

Yahoo Sports can't seem to fathom why Kaepernick, who is currently a free agent, is still unemployed

by any team in the NFL.

His performance has been largely criticized, but the report completely ignores that and

praises him for how he played last season by comparison to "players like Jacksonville's

Blake Bortles' dumpster fire Thursday night."

"Just last season, Kaepernick had 16 touchdowns and four interceptions (along with two rushing

TDs) as a part-time starter for a porous 49ers team," Yahoo Sports reported.

However, no matter how well anyone thinks he played in comparison to other players,

he wasn't a team player with his selfish protests that he's now being commemorated

for.

Even though the museum wants to praise Kaepernick for his season-long statement, it was actually

a thorn on the sport.

The protests did more bad than good for the NFL and Kaepernick's team – the San Francisco

49er's.

This is why it's so hard for him to find a spot on a team now, which NFL legend and

current executive vice president of football operations and general manager of the Denver

Broncos, John Elway, explained today.

Asked Thursday about sitting or kneeling during the National Anthem — a trend started by

Colin Kaepernick in 2016 and continuing this preseason — the Broncos' general manager

gave a strong, well-thought-out response.

The gist?

He respects players' beliefs and supports their rights, with the caveat being that it

doesn't hurt the team.

"That's not the best thing for our football team.

My only advice—we tell our players, I respect where you stand, just when you're doing

anything just understand what it's doing to the football team because I want all of

these guys to understand that we're football first and we want to win football games,"

Elway said.

It's not the time to commemorate protests and give it an exhibit in a major museum.

Our country is more divided than it has ever been before and people need to start to find

common ground and come together, which sports has always been a venue for in the past.

Now, the protests will continue since they are celebrated, which will only perpetuate

problems in society,
