today we're going to talk about how to keep our shoulders healthy, strong and away from injury

without further ado let's begin!
Shoulder pain is usually cased by muscle imbalances
these muscle imbalances occur because of positions we adopt throughout the day
for instance, most of us spend long hours in front of a computer and using our phones
involuntarily our shoulders and head move forward
and when using our phones we look down which puts stress on the neck
all of these positions DO NOT allow the shoulder joint to move and stabilize properly
eventually the small structures inside the shoulder will be compromised which may lead to pain and injury
''Muscle Imbalances''
The shoulder is the joint with the widest range of motion whence the most complex
In most cases we find a group of muscles that are tight and overactive
Lats, Pecs, Anterior Delts and Upper Traps
on the other hand we find a group of muscle that are weak and underactive
rhomboids, mid & low traps, the rotator cuf and the serratus anterior
So, what we need to do is stretch the tight muscles and strengthen the weak ones
1st. Stretches for Tight and Overactive Muscles
this stretch is for the upper traps
hold a broom stick by the ends, take your shoulders back and away from your ears
now lean your head to one side and hold for 30s
repeat on the other side.
with the same broom stick we're going to stretch the subscapularis which is one of the four muscle of the rotator cuff
hold the broom stick behind you like your holding a jacket
with the other hand grab the other end, pull gently
hold for 30s
the subscapularis tends to be tight because is the only muscle in the rotator cuff which is responsible for internal rotation of the arm
Now the Pecs. place one hand on your head and the elbow against the frame of a door
keeping the shoulder in place lean forward, hold for 30s on each side.
this last stretch is for the lats.
hand and knees on the floor, move one hand forward and lean down
to make the stretch more effective move your pelvis forward
the lats go from the shoulders and attach to the hips
hold for 30s each side
2nd. Strengthening and Activation of weak muscles
stand against a wall. Head, upper back and hips in contact with the wall at all times
put your arms on the wall and slide them upwards using all the range of motion and keeping the three points of contact
return to the starting position in a control manner
this exercise is excellent to improve the range of motion, stability and flexibility of the joint
when we do the exercise slowly we are teaching our body the correct pattern, so that our muscles activate when they have to
if you don't have the mobility to do all the range of motion. Slice your arms to the point you can still maintain all three points of contact with the wall
practice everyday 2 or even 3 times until you improve your range of motion.
The function of the rotator cuff muscles is not only rotation of the arm
they also help combat the force of the big muscle surrounding the joint, the pecs and lats
so the shoulder joint is in a safe position
when the rotator cuff is weak and underactive this will likely cause that the humerus will travel in all directions
and eventually the tendons and ligaments inside the capsule will be compromised
for this reason is a good idea to train the rotator cuff with functional exercises.
Scaptions. This exercise uses the entire joint in the most functional plane of motion
Here we are working on the supraspinatus which is one of the muscles of the rotator cuff
the inactivity and weakness of this muscle is responsible for many shoulder injuries
Stand straight with good posture, elevate your arms at 45 degrees of your body with your thumbs pointed to the sky
raise your arms until they are overhead
return to the starting position in a control manner
focus on keeping good posture by squeezing your glutes and abs
If you want to add more resistance lean forward keeping a neutral spine and perform the same movement.
FacePulls. Here we work on external rotation, retraction and depression of the scapula
with elastic bad or in a cable station, adjust the axle at eye level
hols the ends of the rope with your thumbs up
keeping your shoulder blades down(depressed) pull the rope toward your face until the scapula is retracted
hold for a brief second
a mental cue is to imagine your are doing the double bicep pose. Return to the starting position and repeat
another exercise to keep our shoulders healthy is Push ups with full range of motion
allowing the scapula to protract fully on the top of the movement
this will ensure that we a re working on the serratus anterior which is a vital muscle for shoulder stabilization and upward rotation of the scapula
To strengthen the rhomboids and low & mid traps we are going to do any type of row
slow and control, focus on retracting a depressing the scapula with each repetition
doing the movement in a slow and control manner we develop those neuromuscular patterns to ensure the muscles fire up when they have to in the correct way
The isolation exercises for the rotator cuff like external and internal rotation with bands or cables
are good to familiarize with the mechanics of the rotator cuff
However, these are not very functional, for this reason is always good to complement them with the exercises we talked about earlier
when performing exercises overhead is very important to be aware of the position of our hips and lower back
if we have an anterior pelvic tilt and an excessive arch in the lower back
this won't allow the proper biomechanics of the arm to reach the position over head
that's why it is crucial to work on mobility and flexibility before doing this movements overhead
many shoulders injuries we see in GYMs nowadays happen when people perform the bench press with poor technique
specially when there's no awareness of the position of the scapula when performing the exercise
when we do any variation of a bench press our scapulae need to be depressed and retracted at all times
this puts the shoulder joint in a stable and safe position during the exercise

The Rig Veda, which is the earliest written document of human spirituality, is basically
a fire technology. Fire defines human life because human beings are warm-blooded animals.
We will die without fire. But that is to understand fire in a very, very limited way. The neurons
fire, and then you get intelligence—that's also fire, electricity. So there is a gross
fire with which we have barbecues and cooking, and so forth. Then we have neuronal firing
which I mentioned. There is also fire within the Planets, and that's another fire — electricity,
light, and heat. Light and heat also could be understood in very profound, subtle and
metaphysical ways. And that is contained in this technology of Homa or fire ritual. I
prefer to call the fire ritual a Fire Lab. It's a laboratory. A fire ritual or Homa
is a laboratory. What do you do in the laboratory? You want to contact Fire, the Fire God, to
come and bless you with health, and wealth, and ever so many things that you require for
human life. In the Rig Veda, the Yogis contacted the Fire God through fire ritual by giving
food offerings to various Gods. Fire is a messenger who takes all of these offerings
to various Gods. What's the benefit? Once the Gods are fed, then they come and give
you whatever you want. [Chants:] "Agnim ile purohitam yajnasya devam ritvijam hotarum
ratna dhatamam." This is how the Rig Veda starts. [Chants:] "Hotarum ratna dhatamam".
'He brings you wealth. He brings you gold.' Later on in the Rig Veda itself, where do
you get money from? [Chants:] "Agnina rayim ashnavat, Agnina rayim ashnavat poshameva
devam divedive ashasam viravattamam." It is through Agni that you get money. Gold is
real money (not dollar or pound or rupees). How does Agni, the God, create gold? He converts
mud or carbon atoms into gold atoms with intense heat. Who knows the technology? The technology
is known to Agni, the God of Fire. He can convert carbon atoms into gold, changing the
atomic numbers. This is technology. What happens to the person — the priest as soon as he
begins to chant the hymns invoking Gods and Goddesses? What happens to the priest's
brain? And also, what happens to the brain of the listeners? We can contrast and we can
see how the brain waves change. What is happening here is that you are elevated through visible
changes in the Brain that put you in a frame of intelligence; that enables you to act better
and then create more things and be productive. Homa is not just a religious activity that
the Hindus are involved in, but it is a technology. It is a Fire Technology. That's why I call
it a Fire Lab, wherein you can go and work with different forms of energy. You know,
you can do fire rituals for different Gods and Goddesses, for the Planets, and whose
help you need to fix your life. If you want to remove obstacles—which everyone needs
to work on—we do a fire Ritual, or Fire Lab, for Ganesha because he is the one who
is going to come and activate your von Economo Neurons in the Anterior Cingulate. He is
also the one who is associated with the Thalamus and then he will activate the Thalamus. So,
our Fire Lab is a lab where both the priest and the clients who sponsor the ritual will
both be benefited. And you find this knowledge also with Krishna. Krishna in the Bhaghavad
Gita, for instance, talks about the purpose of a Homa. When Arjuna asks Krishna, 'How
can I make money very quickly?' He says, 'Yes, you can do a Fire Lab, the Homa. Then
you'll be able to access these Divine Beings and then Divine Beings will come and bless
you with money. This is the Bhagavad Gita which is in line with the Rig Veda — it
is in Karma Yoga, Chapter 3 of the Bhagavad Gita.

A Doctor Minimized My Pain & Took Away My Wheelchair [CC] // aGirlWithLyme - Duration: 8:12.

Hey guys! Today's video is going to be a story time video. In my last story time video I
told you guys all about the time I had a doctor diagnose me and my mom with
a psychosomatic illness, and I also talked about how that had affected me. If
you would like to watch that video I'll leave a link to it in the description
below for you to check out. So today I'm going to tell you all about an encounter
I had with a doctor who thought I could just think my pain away.

description below. So the story that I'm about to tell you happened about seven
years ago now. I was sick with Lyme for about two years at this point and I did
not know that I had Lyme disease, and I did not have any other diagnoses, so I
had no idea what was making me ill. I think I was about 15 when this happened.
I had got up early that morning to go to the hospital to get my blood drawn. I was
again going for more tests ordered by my doctor. Obviously I was in pain, I was
nauseated, I was fatigued, and I was not feeling the
greatest. I got my blood drawn with no problems at all and then my mum and I
were on our way home. While we were driving on the highway I started to
experience pain exclusively on the left side of my body. The pain was really
intense and it just kept on getting worse and worse.
I could not lay on the side of my body, I really couldn't lift my arms much, my leg
was weak - basically I was in pain on the entire left side of my body and also the
entire left side my body was really weak as well. My mum thought that this was a
very strange symptom, I thought it was a strange symptom, it was the first time I
had ever got it, I was quite freaked out, I was in a lot of pain, I didn't know
what was going on - it was unlike any type of pain I had experienced up until that
point. So my mom she was quite worried and
obviously she did not like seeing me in agony, so there was a different smaller
Hospital in a different town that was just off the highway so we decided to go
to the hospital and hopefully maybe get some pain medication, or they could run
some tests or something to see what was going on. When I got to the hospital my
mom had to put me in a wheelchair and wheel me up there because I was in so much
pain I couldn't use the entire left side of my body, and it was also like I said
my body on the left side was weak - and it was just really weird. When we got there
there was not anyone in the ER waiting room so we were able to get into triage
right away where a nurse saw me, she took my vitals - I told her the symptoms I was
having and also my previous medical history with having an undiagnosed
illness for about two years. So after that I was able to get into a room right
away. It didn't take long for the doctor to come in the room and of course with
every visit to the ER he asked me why I was there today and of course I told him
about the pain that I was having on my left side and the weakness that I was
experiencing with it, and then of course told them all about my previous medical
history and being undiagnosed for two years. After telling him my history he
kind of just stood there with his arms folded and began to tell me that nothing
was wrong. He basically said you know, so what if you have pain? Everybody has pain,
the pain shouldn't stop me from living my life. I was just a teenager I should
be in school learning, hanging out with friends, going to the movies, going to
school dances, playing sports, going to the mall. He then told me that
I needed to stop thinking about the pain, he told me to think about all positive
things and to think positively, and to just ignore the pain and just push
through it. My pain shouldn't stop me from living my life. And the way that he
said all these things it was like he was trying to convince me that my pain
wasn't that bad. You know, I was just teenager there was no way I could be in
that much pain. This little speech went on for about five minutes but it felt
like a lifetime and has basically stuck with me ever since. After he was done
talking he refused to give me anything for my pain, he said that I
didn't need it and all had to do was just to think positively and ignore the
pain and I would be fine. Then when I got up to leave - obviously still being in a
lot of pain and very weak on my left side I had went to obviously get in the
wheelchair so I could be wheeled out to the truck with you know, less pain and
minimal effort because I was obviously feeling like crap. But he actually went
and took the wheelchair away from me and told me that I didn't need that. He said
it so sickly-sweet too - it's almost as if he thought that we were friends and he
said it's so condescendingly and I was obviously very, very angry. I was livid - I
wanted to scream, and I wanted to take a sledgehammer to his hand and tell him to
ignore the pain and think positive. This experience is in the top five worst
experiences I had with doctors in my life. I know it doesn't seem that bad in
comparison to other things that could happen and have happened to other
patients, but this happened at a time when I was young, I was undiagnosed for
two years, I was experiencing Chronic Pain as well as a whole bunch of other
symptoms each and every day, and I was unable to go to school, I've lost a lot
of friends because I had become ill and I had absolutely no answers as to what
was making me sick or what was happening to me. So to have a doctor like this
completely minimize my pain at the level I was experiencing it was very
frustrating, it was sickening and it dissolved my faith in a lot of doctors. I
didn't want to go to see another doctor because I was scared that something like
this would happen again. I also think that the most insulting
part wasn't exactly his words but his actions in him taking away the
wheelchair and my right to use a mobility device when I was experiencing
that of pain - that was the most insulting part
to me, if felt like he had stabbed me. He made up his own mind that I didn't need it,
but didn't ask me if I actually need it because obviously - I have a hundred
percent certain that this doctor thought I was faking my illness, he just didn't
want to outright say it and went on a soul-crushing and minimizing rant
instead. I will say that this experience has stuck with me and it has stuck pretty
hard. I have been accused of doing drugs, I've been accused of hiding a pregnancy
at 13, I've been told it's all my head, I've been told that I'm not even sick,
I've been told that I'm faking it, and I've been diagnosed as having a
psychosomatic illness by multiple different doctors. But I had never had a
doctor acknowledged that I was in pain, minimize my pain, and then take away a
mobility device when I was in pain. I am still in disbelief to this day that
that even happened. I don't even know what to think
other than this experience and all the other experiences I have, have definitely -
it completely dissolved my trust and faith in doctors over the years. I don't
even know what else to say about this experience, other than I wish it didn't
happen, I don't want to go through it again, and I really wish I would have
reported it. So I hope you guys enjoyed today's video. In the comments below I

He's actually two week and three or four days.

we're gonna do that and then we just have a few things to pick up.
Then last day for grandma being here.
Then tomorrow she heads out. So that's it!

So right now it is the last night for Jenna's mom.
So just kind of looking at photos and
Mikko's been doing a good job sleeping.
The two of us just recently took a nap which was really nice.
Yeah, just chilling out watching umm...
the British Bake Off show.
Whatever it's called, but it's really good.
We're on the second season. So watching them... cool.
That's about it.

Yesterday didn't film much.
Just kind of chilled out most of the day.
We had a doctor's appointment and everything was fine.
He's gaining weight. He's 8 pounds, 3 ounces now.
So awesome!
Other than that just chilled out at home and...
he's doing really well.
He pooped like twice yesterday which was really good.
We're gonna change him soon... his formula.
Hopefully that will work out okay.
Right now, poor thing, grandma has a migraine.
So we're just letting her rest, but yeah
Mikko did really good overnight.
We changed his sleep routine, I guess.
It's not really a routine, but I'll explain more later.
Maybe in an update. But he did really good.
Just chilling out and having breakfast soon.

She just left and Jenna dropped her off at the airport.
So she's with her now,
but she started crying so I started crying.

I didn't think that I would cry
but of course I did.

but I just feel so bad for her having to leave.
She probably won't see him for a good few months.
But I wish we could live close to family,
but we can't afford to move.
It's really expensive and we have good jobs here.

then we could, but.... oh well.
Umm yeah I'm just gonna chill out now and try to calm down
and take care of the babe. Wanna see him?

I kind of wanted to have a heart to heart chat.
Umm... I want to be honest about what's going on in our lives.
So Mikko is cute yes,
but I want to be honest about the struggle that I've been having.
I mentioned about, in the 1 week update, with the breastfeeding problems.
We had decided to give up breastfeeding and go ahead with formula feeding.
Umm, but then recently, a few days ago
like a day and a half ago,
I really was having a hard time, especially last night.
Pretty much had a sob fest
and a breakdown, a mental breakdown. I don't know.
Ummm... because
I still have this guilt about not trying to breastfeed again.
I read online you can try and breastfeed again.
So like maybe two days ago I decided
I'll give it a try and see if I can breastfeed him a little bit.

It's just not worth it for me.
I'm crying all the time and for mental health reasons it's not good if I try.
I guess I just want to be honest about that.
I've been struggling and it's still hard for me.
But umm...
I need to make that decision
cause it's best for all of us
and it's not just what dream I wanted.
I don't know why I'm telling you this
but I just wanted to let you know my life's not perfect
and if you have a new baby and you can't breastfeed, it's okay.
And umm... he'll be okay.
I mean look, he's fine!

wanted to start out videos today kind of like how I used to do or I don't know if
I used to do this or not but this is how Call of Duty videos used to do it I just
jumped into a game play like this so that's why I'm doing it like this today
the reason is because we're on an old-school map so we're gonna do the
old-school way of starting videos so that's mainly the reason why I did it
but as you can see guys we're on the modern warfare 3 resistance map so I'm
gonna be talking about a lot of things in this gameplay but first of all guys I
want to talk about this map so this map is good it's the model for the resistant
Maps how can it not be good right but this game I feel like it's just not
meant for this game I mean look people over there already hold it let me see if
I can pick this guy up okay so all I want to say first guys is I want to talk
about the DLC map pack in general like a whole review of what I think of the map
pack now this is just like a first impressions type of thing this isn't
like a real serious review cuz I've only played all the maps once and yeah really
only two of the maps one since I played this game during mono for watches turned
on them way I played his game there at this map there I'm on over at 3 so this
isn't really nothing new to me but the other two maps were brand new
anyways so my first impressions of the DLC map pack is it's alright just like
the game I mean it's nothing special there's nothing super super good I mean
I don't know it's it's hard to explain it how did I die I'll give it to you
guys like this okay it's a it's a good map pack but honestly all these maps
should have been in the game from the start like for example this map I
understand it's a remake so I guess that makes sense for it to be in the DLC map
pack but literally the other two maps literally have the same like what's it
called you're in the same place as you were in the campaign so for example the
campaign there's this one mission where you're in like a dark forest and then
you see like a compound of German soldiers and he try to go and fight them
and literally that part of the campaign they took part of that and they turn it
into a map I put in the map pack usually on a cold early game first of all they
were adding more maps in this game has and they would do that for you know
original Maps not for math packs map packs is something to you know go in a
different direction with I mean it could still keep it related to World War two
and a map pack but they could just you know have more creative idea with it so
that's why I think these maps should been in the game also because obviously
only has ten maps yeah guys so honestly I feel like he's mentioned a man in the
game from the start that's why it's like nothing crazy to me what I think of the
other two map is the one with the forest what is it called uh I forgot what it's
called but you know the the map with the German compound and the forest that one
it's literally just a cluster shit of so much stuff I can't even explain it
these maps are very much diverse than the original maps in this game obviously
the original mass in this game are very boring in general you know bland you got
three ways to go and that's it for example anthropoid that's the map where
you're in a like on a bridge kind of and this bridge has water under it and then
you can move across the boats to get to the other side faster and just oh my
goodness and just you know I had stuff like that's where it makes it you know
interesting to play on a map now the one with the four is that is something
different entirely that map is just weird in general like I don't know why
the spawns have to be so damn big if you plan on map you'll know what I'm talking
about right now like obviously you guys will like it what the hell you talking
about but when you plan a map you don't know what I'm time I was kind of like
playing on it's kind of like playing on us Texas if you really think Matt like
the back of the maps are so damn huge in the middle is small I don't know why
they do that with their maps like such a murmur didn't do that back in advanced
warfare whoever their match designers for this game needs to just quit in
general it's alright I mean it's nothing crazy but it should have been in the
game from the start so guys there's some resistance gameplay for you guys and
that's what I think about the map pack tell me what you guys think in the

Battlefront 2- Micro Transactions Returning - News - Duration: 3:29.
Red Wolf here, and today has been an eventful day in Battlefront 2 and EA news.
There is not going to be any speculation in this video, if you want speculation or reading
to much into tweets, theres a more popular channel that would love to click bait you.
For those who didn't know there was an earnings call earlier today and there was alot covered,
however we're just going to quickly cover the Battlefront 2 information everyone is
going to be talking about.
First off, microtransactions are going to be coming back in the next few months.
Now put down your torch and pitchfork, there's no reason to freak out.
There has been no confirmed information on what will be included in the micro transactions
or if it will be cosmetic or game play related.
There has also not been any information if cosmetics will be released in the coming months
either, so again don't assume that's what will be the micro transactions until it's
confirmed.
The only news to take on the micro transaction front is they are going to return, but we
knew this was coming.
The company needs to make money, and micro transactions are how they do it after release.
We're getting DLC for free, if someone wants to pay for something extra, it doesn't really
effect you, so there's no reason to get upset.
You don't need unlocks to win in this game, if you want proof, there's a card coming up
on your screen.
The next thing is that even with the original loot box controversie, Battlefront 2 still
sold 9 million copies, which is 1 million short of hte goal, which was 10 million.
That means the controversy was way over hyped, since if you believed everyone who said they
wont buy it now, it should of really tanked.
It did however under preform, so there is tha i guess.
Before we get into the last thing, the only tweets i'm going to cover in news are ones
that are 100% yes or no.
You wont see me cover something like, "he replied interesting!
Does that mean we're going to get X hero!"

It has been confirmed by Dennis Brannvall that they are going to be doing era playlists

today we're going to talk about how to keep our shoulders healthy, strong and away from injury

without further ado let's begin!
Shoulder pain is usually cased by muscle imbalances
these muscle imbalances occur because of positions we adopt throughout the day
for instance, most of us spend long hours in front of a computer and using our phones
involuntarily our shoulders and head move forward
and when using our phones we look down which puts stress on the neck
all of these positions DO NOT allow the shoulder joint to move and stabilize properly
eventually the small structures inside the shoulder will be compromised which may lead to pain and injury
''Muscle Imbalances''
The shoulder is the joint with the widest range of motion whence the most complex
In most cases we find a group of muscles that are tight and overactive
Lats, Pecs, Anterior Delts and Upper Traps
on the other hand we find a group of muscle that are weak and underactive
rhomboids, mid & low traps, the rotator cuf and the serratus anterior
So, what we need to do is stretch the tight muscles and strengthen the weak ones
1st. Stretches for Tight and Overactive Muscles
this stretch is for the upper traps
hold a broom stick by the ends, take your shoulders back and away from your ears
now lean your head to one side and hold for 30s
repeat on the other side.
with the same broom stick we're going to stretch the subscapularis which is one of the four muscle of the rotator cuff
hold the broom stick behind you like your holding a jacket
with the other hand grab the other end, pull gently
hold for 30s
the subscapularis tends to be tight because is the only muscle in the rotator cuff which is responsible for internal rotation of the arm
Now the Pecs. place one hand on your head and the elbow against the frame of a door
keeping the shoulder in place lean forward, hold for 30s on each side.
this last stretch is for the lats.
hand and knees on the floor, move one hand forward and lean down
to make the stretch more effective move your pelvis forward
the lats go from the shoulders and attach to the hips
hold for 30s each side
2nd. Strengthening and Activation of weak muscles
stand against a wall. Head, upper back and hips in contact with the wall at all times
put your arms on the wall and slide them upwards using all the range of motion and keeping the three points of contact
return to the starting position in a control manner
this exercise is excellent to improve the range of motion, stability and flexibility of the joint
when we do the exercise slowly we are teaching our body the correct pattern, so that our muscles activate when they have to
if you don't have the mobility to do all the range of motion. Slice your arms to the point you can still maintain all three points of contact with the wall
practice everyday 2 or even 3 times until you improve your range of motion.
The function of the rotator cuff muscles is not only rotation of the arm
they also help combat the force of the big muscle surrounding the joint, the pecs and lats
so the shoulder joint is in a safe position
when the rotator cuff is weak and underactive this will likely cause that the humerus will travel in all directions
and eventually the tendons and ligaments inside the capsule will be compromised
for this reason is a good idea to train the rotator cuff with functional exercises.
Scaptions. This exercise uses the entire joint in the most functional plane of motion
Here we are working on the supraspinatus which is one of the muscles of the rotator cuff
the inactivity and weakness of this muscle is responsible for many shoulder injuries
Stand straight with good posture, elevate your arms at 45 degrees of your body with your thumbs pointed to the sky
raise your arms until they are overhead
return to the starting position in a control manner
focus on keeping good posture by squeezing your glutes and abs
If you want to add more resistance lean forward keeping a neutral spine and perform the same movement.
FacePulls. Here we work on external rotation, retraction and depression of the scapula
with elastic bad or in a cable station, adjust the axle at eye level
hols the ends of the rope with your thumbs up
keeping your shoulder blades down(depressed) pull the rope toward your face until the scapula is retracted
hold for a brief second
a mental cue is to imagine your are doing the double bicep pose. Return to the starting position and repeat
another exercise to keep our shoulders healthy is Push ups with full range of motion
allowing the scapula to protract fully on the top of the movement
this will ensure that we a re working on the serratus anterior which is a vital muscle for shoulder stabilization and upward rotation of the scapula
To strengthen the rhomboids and low & mid traps we are going to do any type of row
slow and control, focus on retracting a depressing the scapula with each repetition
doing the movement in a slow and control manner we develop those neuromuscular patterns to ensure the muscles fire up when they have to in the correct way
The isolation exercises for the rotator cuff like external and internal rotation with bands or cables
are good to familiarize with the mechanics of the rotator cuff
However, these are not very functional, for this reason is always good to complement them with the exercises we talked about earlier
when performing exercises overhead is very important to be aware of the position of our hips and lower back
if we have an anterior pelvic tilt and an excessive arch in the lower back
this won't allow the proper biomechanics of the arm to reach the position over head
that's why it is crucial to work on mobility and flexibility before doing this movements overhead
many shoulders injuries we see in GYMs nowadays happen when people perform the bench press with poor technique
specially when there's no awareness of the position of the scapula when performing the exercise
when we do any variation of a bench press our scapulae need to be depressed and retracted at all times
this puts the shoulder joint in a stable and safe position during the exercise
