The BEST Privacy Coin In 2018! ($XMR, $XVG, $PIVX) - Duration: 13:11.

What is going on snipers Nayeem elevator here

I hope all of you guys are having a wonderful day today this going to just dive right into our daily cryptocurrency

Analytics for today what inspired me to make this video as a community consensus poll that we recently took on Twitter if you guys are

Following our official sniper's tubes twitter you had the opportunity to actually participate on this we have about

449 votes here, and we asked the question what is the best privacy coin so far we have 36% dinero 51% Virg

Surprisingly 5% Z cash and 8% pivots now. There is an individual here named Dave Ibrahim shout out to Dave

he actually contributed this actual graph here showing the differences between colossus Virg -

Manero and pip x there's other coins like - that enabled the private send feature

How we're just gonna dive into the technicals here because I implore you guys to open the door of?

Education looking at these coins look at the fundamentals because it's not all about technicals

but we can definitely see what is the best coin to invest in in the next couple of weeks that has the most potential let's

Go ahead and just dive right in

So you can currently look at the graph that we're seeing here

This is our free trading view chart the resource is in the description below if you right-click this you can insert indicator

We're gonna be utilizing the volume the three moving averages the RSI and the MACD or the moving average Convergence divergence you guys click

Fundamentals and type in all of those names and then actually pull up all of those

indicators we have our three moving averages set to the inputs of the 50-day 100 a and the 200-day moving average the 50-day being the

Red the 200-day being the blue and obviously this would be the 100 day

we've got the RSI down here the volume down here the

Candlesticks of course and the MACD which are all important indicators that we're gonna be utilizing today looking at the one-day chart for

Manero you can see we're starting to see this run-up and a little bit of recovery from this initial

Consolidation where we found some strong support right around looks to be 1.1 million Satoshi's here

And now we're starting to rise back up by the way

We're using Satoshi's because most people trade in bitcoin right that's very

important to notate being the fact that a lot of people like to look at the USD charts especially when looking at coin market cap

But Satoshi's are extremely important especially for more of advanced traders

Do you guys want to start getting into that zone into that level you guys want to start using Satoshi's and being?

understandable of what satoshi values are and what

And losses look like in satoshis, so looking at this current graph here

You can see we're forming this upward trend here with these higher highs

And then you see these lower lows down here seeing these rising prices

Looking like we're actually going above the 180 now pretty much about let's say from that 100 a 21% away

And then from that 50-day

It looks like we're at about

10% away from that not bad being the fact that you can see right around this time period we were almost

70 percent away from that 50-day moving average looking at the price levels

And we're where they are headed we can actually assume here in terms of

Graphing that we are seeing this upward trend right now

And you guys can actually trade this on this trend being the fact that it's pretty stable here

You can see these really clear support and resistance lines that are forming here within this graph now

What's most interesting about this chart here in my opinion is the fact that you can see that?

We've continuously bounced on top of this 50-day back and forth back and forth going in and under that 50-day moving average

And it looks like the best times to buy Manero are really where these 50 day moving averages fall on top of these candlesticks

So looking at the prices now seem to me a little bit

Overpriced only being the fact that you can see with this initial run up

We saw this huge

consolidation which a lot of people that bought around these prices aren't even look to Sally you can see there's a lot more volatility with

This run-up than we saw here where this was more parabolic this one is more gradual

You can see this is starting to form in and close in on each other which could have eventually

Converge with each other so if we actually pull up our chart here

This is another resource that we have

probably more important that the trading view chart to be quite frank with you because this one can actually teach you and you have a

Community to connect with the link is in the description below once again the trading view chart here

Though looking at these support and resistance lines

You can see we're starting to converge kind of like a falling wedge

But this is really the opposite of what a falling wedge is the falling wedge is really a descending pattern

This is more of an ascending pattern so looking at this in my opinion you can almost

Reverse-engineer this falling wedge and say well if this is how the breakouts look

This is typically how these reversals are going to look now. This is an end-all be-all

However looking at this chart are fairly high you can't admit that obviously volume increased that took the prices a lot higher

Volume is starting to decrease you can see MACD is starting to lean back down. You can see these RSI levels

Well are pretty much on top of

45 which is the higher ladder aspect of this RSI chart look in here

This is really where prices were pretty good here. You can see we're in the bottom portion now

We're in the top portion of this RSI so in my opinion

This was really the time to buy this was the time to sell if you were going to take some profits

And I think in order for somebody to put a position in Manero and have an actual

Reasonable cost to do so for a long-term investment. It should be down in these lower RSI levels now if your swing trading it

It's definitely a coin if you hope that one hour that has

extreme volatility and that means that there's a lot of

Opportunity to make money with your swing trades the reason I switched over from traditional markets and Forex over to cryptocurrency

was because of the fact that there was extreme volatility and cryptocurrency versus a lot less volatility in traditional markets and

Volatility is the one way as a day trader as a swing trader

You can make a lot of money and especially in an emerging market. It's also a place for value investors

That are a little bit more on the risky side now once again. You never wanna invest more than willing to lose

This is a financial device however

It's important to note that so looking at Mineiro right now if you are swing trader a day trader

It looks like there's an awesome chart here

You can see these extreme parabolic run ups that happen and you see there's these ascending support lines these

Ascending resistance lines that you can actually trade upon

But as a long-term hold if you were trying to get a good position

And if you're trying for the substantial amount I think prices could get a little bit lower

Only being the fact that we're so far away from that 50-day and that 100 in the 200-day

Typically when we're below that it looks like that's usually the best time to buy on this and then once again you can see that

Moving average is also extremely parabolic our size a little bit high and MACD looks to be

Descending just a bit right now

And it looks like the best time to buy this

Once again is down on these MACD levels are also on their lower lower levels, so looking at this graph

You can see MACD is low prices were also low so that's kind of what I'm looking at for XMR looking at total market cap

5e and 330 dollars right now you can see exactly what we were talking about here in the technical chart here total market cap

Just approaching 600 billion once again an amazing feat for cryptocurrency being the fact that we were under 300 billion a couple months ago

So exciting to see that let's move out to pivots because this is actually one of the trading alerts that we posted here within our

Patreon trading alerts if you guys are receiving our snipers trading alerts

We talked about this being a great swing trade

And it's like a lot of these

Privacy codes are kind of following the same trend here where they're actually going on these ascending patterns here

Just kind of going up forming these channels

So you can see here very similar here with pip X where you've got these ascending support lines these

ascending resistance lines

Forming this channel here where it's a great swing trade back and forth if you guys are on our patron

We actually posted this and I told you guys as a swing trade this was up here

I said it's probably gonna start dropping down, and these are really the best buying levels

It seems like here because you can see even with the RSI it follows a very strict

Support line you guys do know you can start drawing support lines on these RS is for you those of you new to RSI

Over 70 over baht under 30 over sold MACD you're looking for these crossovers. There's a fast line here in blue

There's a slow line here in orange any time these cross you can see that's typically where these price swing right so these are showing

The price swings while the RSI is a better indicator for entry and exit points in my opinion

You can see this parabolic amount of volume that just kind of shot up out of nowhere

It's actually exactly what allowed this to start taking off but looking at this it looks like once it touches this 50-day

You can see that 50 days right along that support isn't that awesome right?

So this is another great indicator here, so the 50-day moving average right here in red. You can see us

It's following right along this line that we're drawing here

It's not going to be exact once again, but look how closely tied it is to that moving average

It's riding right along there

So as soon as this touches that 50-day most

Likely gonna go back up so if you guys are looking to make some quick swing trades a lot of whales will make tons of

money in this manner

putting in several thousand dollars while they're at those 50 divisions when they know it's gonna start going back up and then as soon as

It goes back up

They sell up here and they just buy and sell buy and sell buying the red selling the green every single time works right so

Once again, this is a financial advice

But it has helped me and it's helped many different traders and trading so

that's pretty much what we're looking at for pivots pretty simple here you guys already knew about this if you're receiving our trading alerts and

If you guys can see here

There's also these very clear

Support levels that continue to form as it starts to go under that 50-day so anytime it goes under that 50-day

I would be careful and setup those stop losses because you can see if it goes under it pretty much has this whole room to

Go down, and then anytime it drops under that 50-day pretty much drops a lot

So be careful with that 50-day moving average

But you can definitely start trading this on this upward trend being the fact that resistance levels are all the way up here at

170,000 satoshis we have a pretty long way to go to allow these channels to kind of form up

Not that that will go all the way up

But there's certainly a possibility and during that time you can do a lot of different ring trades there to ensure maximum

profitability so looking at pip X

561

market cap here million dollars

Ten dollars and thirteen cents here ranked number 55 right now so a little bit smaller of a coin. However definitely

They're in the game so if we pull up our chart

Let's go ahead and move on to the verge the one that got pumped right huge pump here and the volume tons of price levels

Parabolic increase now. We're seeing that consolidation here looking like a descending triangles forming here you see these

Horizontal support lines you see these

Descending resistance lines which are an indicator over a dis of a descending triangle once again?

If you pull up our trading view chart, you can see exactly how these descending triangles form

That's why it's such an important resource

I implore all of you guys to get on our disk or there's a mobile version a web version a desktop version

There's so many versions of this to allow you guys to have extreme accessibility so you see this

horizontal support

Descending resistance forms that descending triangle with that negative breakout now my opinion if this does break out there is another dilemma here

We're riding on top of the stripping average right now

So this could possibly be good price points if you are looking to purchase into verge

I would follow this rule I would say to yourself set up your stop losses

Under that 50-day if you want you can even set it up below this previous line now when I say stop-loss

Typically you'll want to use stop-loss alerts because sometimes these wicks can trigger those stop losses

But definitely set up stop losses because if it goes below that 50-day moving average

There's a high probability that I'll probably drop down to that 108 and possibly even the 200-day like you saw with

Pivots you see here with this chart. You can see how there were points in time

Where it had these parabolic run ups bounced off the 50-day bounced off the 50-day

But then eventually broke under so you don't want to catch yourself in that position if verge breaks under you want to be able to

Buy at these really low prices where you can see this 200 a caught up here this one actually broke through the 200-day and over

Here you can see the 50-day actually up with the price where we went ahead and jumped over

And I'm actually interested to see this Fibonacci if you guys know how to use the autofit i'd highly recommend this to be watching our

Live streams you guys know we'd like to use this BAM look at that clear support on that Fibonacci

So it's not the one the 200-day. It's the Fibonacci that found support here, so look at that awesome

Machi works like a charm, so look at that verges total market cap once again. We're currently at

1.3. Billion could be a little bit high for such a new coin because I did find this article that I'm gonna put in the

Description below you can show this guys some love crypto Oracle whoever this is shoutouts to crypto Oracle

But if you look at verge one of the things about verge

very new very fast block times of course questionable black paper public info, but very new and

1.5 billion for me or 1.3 billion don't match up, too

well So I would be careful with verge if you are trading this at this price level if you bought at these higher highs then unfortunately

You trap and that's fine

That's what this channel is for to help you guys learn

And that's why I am so

I'm so passionate about making these videos and teaching you guys and educating you guys because I know how it feels I was in the

Market alone I remember starting with traditional

Stocks and only having a hundred dollars to invest and then trying to turn that into another hundred dollars

And then sometimes losing that until I found mentorship. I found people that had different perspectives

understanding where the philosophy really lies is between the psychology the technicals and the fundamentals and then

Crossing those together having a dynamic perspective on the market is what steers that so once

It's are on our discord the link in the description below. Hopefully this video helped out

I'd love to hear some feedback in the comments below

And I'd love to start a discussion on what other privacy points you guys

recommend and with that being said guys once again our Twitter

we're gonna be posting more consensus polls and then basing videos upon those because I think this is an awesome way to almost get a

Decentralized approach on our video, so thank you guys watching and snipers out

You

KTIGERS LEARN CAPOEIRA! - Duration: 8:52.

I am Euiseul

I am Minjee -I am Junhee

I am Taejoo! - I'm Seongjin

I'm Hyunsik

Welcome to episode 3!

As we told you in episode 2

we will try out Capoeira this time

Can anyone of you do Capoeira?

I've never tried it - Me neither

And this is why we get a teacher today!

Let's meet Capoeira teacher Kim Yungin!

<Energia da bahia> Academy

2002: <Energia da bahia> Korea branch

2014: Capoeira instructor at the Korea National University of Arts

2015: Participation of Capoeira Batizados (Baptisms) in Japan und Australien

Hello everyone, my name is Kim Yungin

I teach Capoeira at the <Energia da bahia Academy> in Korea

We don't know a lot about Capoeira

So would you mind telling us a bit about it?

To give you a short description

Capoeira is a traditional martial art form

created by African Brazilians. It's performed together with music

We really want to try it out!

We don't know the movements yet

But if you demonstrate some

we will try to follow -Yes, understood

Let's first do the basic step, the basic movement

The first step that I will show you is called 'Ginga'

We begin the move

by comfortably putting the right foot back

This arm is always up in defense

You move from right to left

and always keep your stance

We have a lot of space, so let's try it out

Oh, you're good!

This is fun

Ah, it's exhausting

'Ginga' ~ very nice

The move has a rhythm to it

so you have to approach it differently than Taekwondo

Next we will learn a kick

A kick should fit the K-Tigers well

Taekwondo also has very impressive kicks

but Capoeira has its distinctive ones as well

So let's learn one

Please who us

It's called 'Meia Lua de Compasso'

'Meia Lua' means 'Half Moon'

'Compasso' is the same as 'Compass'

We follow its shape

The move reminds me of a scorpio

It has to be difficult to get this right

Do you think we can learn this? - You try it, Minjee

Seongjin, Minjee, you two go

Follow the teachers moves

I'll try doing it well

Ready

one

Sorry

It's not an easy move

It looks easy, but it's different from what we practise

Again -Fighting!

-That was it

Can you tell us, who of us was closer to the actual move?

Both of you did really well

But he took his defense up, as should be, so

The Men's team!

You're mean

Next we will try something that is very technical

It is called

'Au de Frente'

'Au' is a cartwheel

'Frente' is the 'front'

It's a cartwheel that turns to the front

which is why it's called 'Au de Frente'

I will show it to you

It's a mixture between a handspring and-

- and a side roll? -Right!

Are you the leader?

Let's all try this one

This is amazing -It's beautiful

All doing cartwheels

This feels weird

If you come out like this, it's a cartwheel

If you face this way, you've done it right

Get out, we will show you

If you can't do it-

Let's go

Watch

Seems like you did a perfect cartwheel

Did I do it? -Yes

The move was perfectly executed

but you couldn't keep your position after

So this is how you do it?

Normally you do Capoeira with music, right?

Right

Could we try that? -Of course

Usually, you would perform with music

and even sing along -That's great

Let's split into teams

The girl's team, Junhee and I

and Seongjin and Hyunsik

Then we'll try it out in three teams

Wow, this was fun, thank you

If it wasn't for ZanyTV we probably wouldn't have been able to learn Capoeira

Together with ZanyTV we got to learn Capoeira

and talk to the Latin American viewers

We spent a very memorable time here

We will work harder and harder!

Would you mind saying something?

It was great to be able to spend time

with the K-Tigers who represent Korea so well

I really wannted to teach you a lot

and I am sure you've already learned many things

Thank you very much

To the great ZanyTV fans!

Thank you!

Business Agility - Episode 2 - Perpetual change - Duration: 2:57.

Attention:

The first principle to understand and incorporate

business agility in your business

is to understand that it will need to change all the time.

[Giant Consulting] [presents]

[Business Agility] [based on busagilitymanifesto.org by R. Burlton, R. Ross & J. Zachman]

Episode 2 The perpetual change

We have an old saying here:

"If you have a winning team, don´t change it."

We have a different saying:

"Change is the only constant in our business."

If in the past, tradition guaranteed the loyalty of your customers,

Forget about it. This is no longer true.

Customers are becoming less and less faithful

and the market is increasingly volatile.

If a competitor offers a payment method more desirable

or some other benefit that your company does not,

your customers will want to try it

and if they like it, they'll stick around there.

Stability and constancy in our way of working

guarantees the quality of our service.

We seek innovation all the time

to keep us relevant to our customers.

But how do you change a business?

In the past we always understood change as a synonym for project.

"A temporary endeavour that allocates resources to create an unique outcome."

And this outcome could be a new version of your business.

So the business evolved in evolutionary steps.

From version N to version N + 1.

That's cool.

But it is not perpetual evolution,

this is evolution in thresholds.

When we have to change, we do projects

which make changes to computer programs

which control our processes,

then we deploy it and see what happened.

We structure our architecture using a segmented aproach

so that changes in rules do not affect the processes

guided by these rules.

And so what?

Got interested in how your business

could be structured like this, too? Agile?

This is only the first of 10 principles

that will be presented on the next episodes.

Like this video here below and watch

the next episodes of this series to understand

the other principles of Business Agility.

Furry fanbois over a movie for 2 minutes and 24 seconds - Duration: 2:25.

Oy! Foofi! you should watch this! it's amazing!

Rock Dog, a movie all about Bodi a small cute doggo who wants to become a musician

Now I'm a furry, so I obviously speak with no bias whatsoever when I said that this is the greatest movie

ever created in the history of mankind!

sure, You might say that the plot is horrible

The visuals aren't very good and the universe doesn't make any sense and completely lacks consistency

And even though the movie is called rock dog the dog doesn't actually ever rock look at how cute hisy

but to that I say

Look at how cute this boi is

Look at his cute smile, and his cute lil' hat

And dang those cute sweet blue clothes

So overall 10/10 very cute boi

so the cute boy lives in Snow Mountain an ancient sheep village that needs protection from the wolves

Cuz the wolves wants to eat the Sheep living there

Bodis father, Khampa is guard of the village

And he knows the way of the deadly Mastiff paw, a powerful magical blast that has scared of the woolves for a long time

Khampa wants Bodi to become the next guard

But Bodie has trouble learning the masstiff paw.

one day, a magical music box falls down from the sky and on it Bodi Hears a song playing by a rock legend Angus Scattergood

Bodi gets completely dragged into the music and it fills him with passion

He gets hold of a guitar and starts playing all day every day.

On the path towards his passion Bodi finds other cute fluffy creatures, being really cute and fluffy, yee

Rocko Doggo is directed by Ash Brannon , the same guy also co-directed Toy Story 2 and Surf's Up!

Two movies, which of I have only watched one

It was a great movie.

Rock Dog gives off quite the similar vibes that Surf's up does

It's a fun movie trying to make some jokes and bring in a bit of happiness, and to be honest it manages just that

I found the movie really cozy to watch and it made me really happy

I also found it to be charming in its spirit, and I really liked the message is trying to send out

Some might say that this movie is a piece of shit

and they're right

But it has a charm and silliness around it giving it exactly what I want, and what I need out of movie

It's fun, upbeat, doesn't take itself too seriously, and it's all around just fun and enjoyable

also furries, so you know yeah

Rock dog! it might have a 5 out of 10 on Rotten Tomatoes

But it has a 10 out of 10 in my heart. That was everything I had to say about rock - thanks for watching bye bye! ^w^

Internet going crazy with "alleged" gameplay leak - Cyberpunk 2077 - Duration: 16:52.

Greetings Earthlings!

Welcome to the MadqueenShow!

I am you host the MadQueen

And Mr Ruvver

And Mr Ruvver

Hello, new people to the channel that don't know who I am!

A lot of you have been asking, but I am Mr Ruvver

I am the Queen's imaginary friend which...

By the way, if you are seeing me, hearing me that's bad news for you

Because that means you are crazy too

But, yeah. I am Mr Ruvver

Please, go on

On today's menu we have a different video than the one I had in mind for you today,

because it's Sunday and I was ready to make a Pijama Rant but this just came in, and I'm

glad, because I look like shit, and I feel like shit, and I don't want to get out of

my Unicorn pajama.

And you can't make news with a Unicorn pajama

Say goodbye to your credibility

So no camera today

You're making one of those super long introductions that you hate when other YouTuber does

True.

Let's go for it.

The thing is that the usual suspect Legolevic, known as Gamerevic in our Discord server,

sent me these images as it seems that he found them in videos and articles claiming that

these are actual leaked gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 and he wanted to know if I thought

if they could be real gameplay leaks.

So, short answer: no

Long answer: fuck no

Before entering into detail, I'm seeing lately a lot of images and videos that claim

to have leaked images from the gameplay, I especially recall one that I can't find again

where some YouTubers stole the final project of some students, that was a sci-fi

environment, claiming it was actual gameplay from Cyberpunk 2077.

And you could see that it was student quality, there was no way THAT could be mistaken for

a AAA game, this same YouTuber had a video called "2018 Cyberpunk 2077 trailer" and

it was the teaser that is now 5 years old, so, what I want to say with that is we're

entering into a season where everything is going to be filled with alleged leaks, there's

people who will honestly believe that what they are saying is accurate, but there's

also who have the bad clickbait intention, so we really need to be careful with that

before going crazy.

R: This said by a YouTube known for posting leaks

Yep, leaks that I reported thanks to the Triple S League

and that shortly after were officially confirmed by CD Projekt

So, trust your sources when reading about this information.

Even I can be wrong, and I can assure you I double and triple check everything I say.

First let's talk about the character creation images: what they are and what information

can we extract from them.

Before googling the images, which is the most obvious thing to do, you can easily see that

it's pretty weird that they have the logo of the game in the corner, a thing that you

usually don't see in a game

Except Batman. The game is filled with bat signals everywhere

Well, I didn't mean that.

Second thing you can easily see is that the character is 2D, this is not a 3D character,

you could have a 3D character with this texture, but there's a trick to tell a 2D from a

3D character easily, and that is the armpit shape.

See the characters that are modelled to be animated are created in this pose, to then

put a skeleton, that is called a rig, on the inside of the body, to animate the character.

This is a pose that the character doesn't keep during the game, usually it is with its

arms down, so as the real skin of a person is more flexible than a 3D mesh, when the

arms fall down they make a strange shape in the armpit, and I've seen incredibly advanced

3D models of character and still the armpit problem is there.

You can only see a perfect shape when the character is modelled to keep the same pose

all the time, like the Cyber Psycho in the teaser.

So, 2D character

All of this just for the armpit

Then, the obvious thing to do, googling the images.

It seems that these images saw the light April past year, several sources claim that these

images belong to the early mockups that CD Projekt warned us about past year, advising

us to avoid going crazy with them because they are old images and didn't represent the game

If this is a mockup, then, it is one of many mockups done to design the character creation

because it's pretty obvious that they won't keep the first design made for something,

and knowing how perfectionist they are and how they change things up to the last minute

to make the game as perfect as possible

With poor developers suffering the consequences

It's more than likely that, even if at the time this was the final design for character

customization it will change, or already changed, for the final game.

BUT, even not taking this mockup as gospel, we can induce pretty interesting things from it

The first interesting thing is that they are working on a very detailed character customization.

This particular subject had some fans worried as some thought that we would, most probably,

have some kind of Geralt with minor customization, but as I've been saying for long

Oh, and she loves being right

As I said, if they're doing the game that

they are doing, character customization is a must, and having so much detail is a must.

So what information can we extract from here?

Let's get analytical with that

High level nerd mode ON

And I'm going to put a link in the upper part of the screen with a video where I explain

in deep the subjects that I'm going to explain in here, because I don't want to go on forever

so, if you see a link means that there's a deeper explanation available.

But even if I'm going to give a huge explanation of what we see here, I'd like to stress

again that this is a mockup and that what we see here doesn't necessarily mean that

is going to be in the game, BUT if all these options are in a mockup it means that this

is the level of detail in customization that they are considering to implement in the game

Even if it's not exactly this customization.

And warning: this is going to be long and very detailed.

First, the hairstyle, very cyberpunkish, we could expect that, and I'm sure most of

you are not interested in hair dressing, so let's go to the panels of the left.

Starting on the main menus we can see 4 options: Body, Cyberwear, Implants, and weapons.

And I am not 100% sure that this last menu is weapons, but I believe it would be the

most reasonable option.

Let's go for the body first.

Body is the physical attributes of the character.

First, we have the name, obvious

I wonder if they can automatize the name so NPCs can call you by the name

You mean like some lokendo?

But well done

That would be pretty interesting, and something

that I don't remember seeing in a game before when you have a customized name.

Then you have the sex, which caught my attention because this is a transhumanist game, so characters

are way beyond having just two options, in here you can be everything.

You can be a multisexual shark

Yes, but literally.

A shark.

These implants to be a shark, or a cat, or have pink skin are called "exotic", which

takes us to the next option: skin.

In here we see a "normal" skin color in a pale gradient but, again, this is a game

where you can have exotic skin colors, like purple, blue, or even lizard skin,

so I'd like to think that this is going to give us that option.

Then we see Psyche, so what is that?

Every implant you put in your body has a cost, apart from the money, and it's a cost in

humanity and empathy, the more implants you have the less empathy, and this cost is different

depending on the type of implant.

If you reach a certain level of having very little empathy, then you turn into a cyber-psycho.

Then you have the height, the weight, and the outfit.

Every moment you spend living is a moment you spend learning

Spend less time learning and more time living

with Raven IntelPlus Brain Implants

Reality redifined by microcybernetics

In the pen and paper game, the "Outfit" is not the clothes you wear but the personal

items you always carry with you, like, I don't know, a portable bed, so I'd like to think

they kept it like that in here.

But it may include also the clothing

It may. You have in here up to 5 units of outfit

if it was clothing we would have the shirt, the pants or skirt, boots, jacket,

gloves and headwear and that would make 6 category

Headwear can be under the cyberwear category

Good point.

It can be.

On the right we can see that you can go into detail with hair, head, and body, again I

expect exotic colors in the hair

Otherwise it would be REALLY disappointing

And in head and body you can also see cybernetics, but as cybernetics are another option of the

main menu, let's go back to it.

The second option of the main menu is cyberwear.

Cyberwear works more or less like implants but they are not implanted in the body.

You can wear like, for instance, a headset that gives you supervision, but as it's

not implanted you save the cost in empathy and humanity that you would have if you used, for instance,

some Kiroshi implants that gave you the same supervision.

As we don't have an example of the breakdown of this menu, let's go for the next.

And the next is Cybernetics.

And in this example, we have the detail of the head, with brain, eyes, and vocals.

And in here, we encounter the first thing that I don't like.

That is a very stupid thing unless you're obsessed with the lore

Which is your case

and I really hope they already considered

doing it differently as we see here, which most probably won't happen

So, cyberware, fashionware and cybernetics are things that you buy into the game.

So, character customization is something that you do at the beginning of the game, meaning

that if you're dropped into the Cyberpunk world most probably you already have some

cyberware and implants before starting the game, unless you plan to side with a boostergang

like the Inquisitors that believe that implants are evil or you have any other reason to start

as a natural human.

If you start with implants, you bought them at some point in your, let's call it, life

before the game starts.

So what's the thing here, these items are manufactured by someone,

sometimes by a megacorporation.

And you may start the game feeling sympathy for a very specific megacorporation.

For instance, you make a Japanese character and you know that Arasaka is keen on protecting

Japanese communities on Night City, so if you have a certain sympathy for Arasaka

most probably you're not going to buy anything from their lifelong enemy Militech.

In the case of the tactical lens shown here as an example, this cyber-optic can be

manufactured by Militech if it's military grade or by Kiroshi, a brand specialized in

cyber optics that we could see in the teaser, so I would like to know who manufactures this cyber-optic.

And I see no brand in here

Because that's the supermarket white brand?

There are several cybernetics options that are listed in the basic 2020 sourcebook

without mentioning what brand is commercializing it, and I can guess that this tactical lens that

we see in this example is the radar sensor listed in the basic 2020 sourcebook,

and in this list the brand manufacturing doesn't appear, it has a 100m range, it's 70% effective,

cost 200 euro bucks and has a humanity loss of 2.

So, what do I mean with that?

I mean that even if it's lore friendly, because it's lore friendly, I, in my personal

taste would rather seeing brands listed when you're acquiring new cyberwear or implants

to be lore obsessive more than lore friendly.

So that, I repeat, is personal taste.

And it's funny because recently we were discussing about this "radar view" with

someone in the comments, it's always everywhere.

Even if it's not justified

Well, in here it is justified, it can be cyberware or implants

And also this mockup doesn't go into detail about the options you have for the implants,

which leads me to believe that this is an old mockup that probably changed a lot.

But, again, it's good to know that they are contemplating all the options we see here.

And then, last part of the menu, weapons.

Or at least you think is weapons

Which I am not 100% certain.

I'm around 90% certain this is weapons.

And in here, I'm sure we will find a typical weapons screen Borderlands style

With brands listed

With brands listed.

Brands are VERY important for the weapons.

And that's all about the character creation mockups, and as I said before, even if this

is a mockup from very early stages of development, I'm glad to see they were considering so

much level of detail.

But this could be fan art

Well, usually when something is fan art and

a bunch of people on the internet looks for it, eventually the author of the fan art appears,

and they deserve to if they did a good fan art piece, but in this case, I could see no

traces of it.

Now let's go for the alleged interface screen, with a quick Google search you can see that

this image was uploaded more or less one year ago by Henrik Giang to Artstation, he didn't

claim it was official, he's a student according to his profile and it looks like a fan art

more than an actual asset, obviously if this was real CDPR wouldn't allow to upload it

to ArtStation and this artist would have a Non-Disclosure Agreement that would prevent

him to do so.

So, no further comments about that.

And I think that's all

Well, it was a lot

I'm happy that we finally could see some images of Cyberpunk 2077 even if they are

old mockups that don't represent the final quality of the game

Remember that: these images are not gospel

But it's a start.

When you're so busy trying to take care of the world you must remember to take care

of yourself as well.

Functioning Labels - Duration: 12:31.

Hello everyone and welcome to Autistic Changeling.

Today I want to talk about functioning labels, because I mentioned them in my last video

and said I would make a video about them, so now I'm doing that.

So, functioning labels are basically when you say someone is "high functioning" or "low

functioning", but they're not limited just to those phrases, uh, other types of wording

that people use that can imply the same things as functioning labels are "mildly autistic"

or "severely autistic" or "just a little on the spectrum" and things like that.

Anything that implies a "degree" of being autistic on a spectrum from being "not a person"

to "basically not disabled", uh, which is why functioning labels are frowned upon by

a lot of autistic people.

Uh, because they basically put you on a scale from "basically a normal person like the rest

of us" or "high functioning" to "not really a person and not able to do anything at all"

or "low functioning".

And, you know, that's pretty harmful as a way of looking at people, and also I feel

like a lot of the time this comes from a misunderstanding

of what "spectrum" means as far as autism goes.

Autistic people can have a wide variety of traits and still be autistic, and there's

a wide variety of ways in which autistic people can present.

A really common thing is for both a trait and its opposite to be autistic traits, because

in my experience autistic people tend to present at either end of the extremes.

So both being hypersensitive, uh, to sound, for example, and finding minor noises more

frustrating than a non-autistic person would find them, and being hyposensitive and seeking

out noises that louder than most people would be comfortable with, are autistic traits.

And this applies to a wide variety of other areas as well.

Both low empathy and high empathy are more common in autistics than in the general population.

Um, I can't think of any other examples off the top of my head, but they're out there.

And, you know, that wide range of how being autistic can present, you know, either ends

of the extremes or even just a variety of different types of special interests and sensory

sensitivities can manifest in a wide variety of ways, different types of ways of interacting

with people, you know, they're all autistic ways but they're different, and autistic people

present across a spectrum, but it's not a spectrum of "not autistic" to "autistic",

it's a spectrum of- it's not a spectrum with two ends, it's like a circle, and where you

are on the circle doesn't make you more or less autistic, it just affects how your autistic-ness

presents itself.

There's been some good graphics about this, uh, I'll see if I can find them and link them

in the description.

If there's no links in the description it means I couldn't find them.

So that's one thing to consider.

Another aspect is that, from a practical perspective, when people use functioning labels, they often

use them to hurt autistic people.

You know, if someone says that you're "high functioning", it's supposed to be a compliment,

but in practicality it often means that they're expecting you to not be disabled at all.

If someone says "high functioning", what they're saying is that - often because you can talk,

because a lot of the time people use these labels based on how verbal someone is, uh,

which is another issue - but, often it means that because you can talk and you sounded

reasonably eloquent, they're assuming that you're not going to have meltdowns, you're

not going to be socially awkward in ways that are more noticeable than just being "a little

awkward", there's like a line past which if you show an autistic behaviour they get confused.

Um, and that's one of the problems with being seen as "high functioning" because people

use it as a way to say that you're "almost a real person".

Um, and when someone is seen as "low functioning" it means that anything they might be good

at, anything that they might have to offer, just the fact that they're a person and that

they deserve basic respect and, you know, basic rights to self-determination, uh, gets

taken away and not viewed because they're "severely autistic".

Um, and, you know, that's pretty detrimental, because either way, it's being used to wield

power against the autistic people, by saying that you know them better than they know themselves.

Um, so that's an issue with other people using functioning labels on autistic people without

their permission.

Also, functioning labels are, like I mentioned, they're poorly-defined.

A lot of the time people will use them based solely on whether or not someone can speak,

which seems, uh, highly inaccurate, because that's one trait.

Um, that is one trait - one.

Uno.

Un.

It doesn't mean anything to anything else.

Um, and it's not consistently used like that, either.

Sometimes people use it on whether or not you can speak, sometimes people will use it

based on whether or not you have meltdowns, or based on whether or not your special interest

is something useful to them.

Um, or based on a general impression of how smart they think you are at this moment in time

Um, and these things can all fluctuate.

Someone can be verbal one day and not verbal another day.

I could meet the criteria that I just listed for being "high functioning" because I can

talk, and then fail it because I have meltdowns.

It doesn't mean anything, and someone's ability to do something can fluctuate from day to day

And all of these things mean that I don't think functioning labels are useful, I don't

think that they help autistic people, and I think that a lot of the time they can be

used to hurt and to dismiss us.

Um, I would recommend that if you're going to talk about something, instead of saying

that a person is high functioning or low functioning, think about what you actually want to say.

If you're trying to say that someone you know needs accommodations for a specific thing,

let's say that.

If you're trying to say that someone needs alternative communication, or that someone

needs a person to help them doing specific tasks, or that someone doesn't need those

accommodations, say that.

Say what, specifically, you're going to say.

And if you think about it and you realize that you're not really trying to say anything

about the autistic person other than that you think they seem like a "real person" or

like, not an autistic person, then maybe consider why you felt that.

And maybe consider that a lot of autistic people intentionally try not to seem autistic

because it makes people like us more.

And maybe think about how that's kind of screwy.

Um, now to talk more about some personal experiences, I've been called "high functioning" by a couple of people

Um, or, you know, things similar to that, maybe not specifically that phrase.

Uh, I believe that I mentioned in my last video the therapist who called me high functioning

and compared me to her nephew.

Now, that specifically is a situation which does happen a lot, where someone who knows

an autistic person - often a child - will talk to an autistic adult and say "You're

high-functioning, not like my child.

Therefore, the things that you say aren't relevant to me."

And there are two main issues with this from my perspective.

One, I'm an adult.

Your child is a child.

I am not going to be like your child because I am older than your child.

Autistic adults are adults.

Autistic children are not adults.

Autistic children will change when they become adults, because autistic people do change

and develop over time.

We are not static.

We change and grow like any other person.

And therefore, I am not going to be like your child because I am an adult.

But, number two, you're not autistic.

Uh, the fictional person I'm to talking to here is not autistic.

There are autistic people with autistic children.

That is a different situation, because they are not often the ones who say "You're high

functioning, you're not like my child", that doesn't usually happen when you're talking

to an actual autistic person talking about their child.

So, this fictional person is not autistic.

And I am.

That means that no matter what, I am probably going to have more personal experience and

more in common as far as autistic traits go with their child than they do.

So if they're saying - I mean, obviously, you know, if they're the parent, then they'll

know more about their child than I will.

I won't know anything about someone's child just by knowing their child is autistic.

But if they're trying to say that my words don't mean anything because I'm "high functioning",

then their words need to be considered from the fact that they're not autistic at all.

Um, and often that is not recognized when you're talking about this kind of thing.

So, that's something that does frustrate me.

And, uh, I've had people also say that, you know, they don't think I'm really autistic

based only on the fact that I talk, um, I think those people just aren't really

super familiar with autism and how autistic people represent, honestly.

So there's not much to say there.

I think those people just don't know a great deal about autistic people.

Um, and last I want to address autistic people who do use functioning labels for themselves.

I think there's several situations in which you'll see an autistic person using a functioning

label to describe themselves.

The first situation is where someone uses a functioning label to say that, you know,

they're autistic but maybe they've been told that they're not "really autistic", um, and

they've been told that frequently enough that they don't feel comfortable just saying "I'm

autistic", and they feel like they have to qualify it somehow, because otherwise they're

afraid that they're going to be shot down.

Um, the second situation is where someone is using a functioning label, often "high

functioning", to say that they're not like "those other autistics".

Uh, and this situation I think comes from internalized ableism a lot of the time, where

someone has internalized the idea that being autistic is bad, and they don't think they're bad because they're a person, and in their mind

They think they're a real person, so they must be high functioning,

and in their mind they've been told that autistic people are not people, and this often comes as a result

of facing ableism, and then internalizing that into your worldview.

And I think those are the two main situations in which you'll see autistic people using

functioning labels, but it's also worth to mention that if an autistic person was diagnosed

specifically using a functioning label, they might continue to use that when describing

themselves, uh, and especially if you're not familiar with the autistic community, and

haven't thought a great deal about functioning labels and what they mean, and hasn't considered

that they might be harmful, the person might still continue to use them because that's

how it was told to them.

Um, so, I think that covers a lot.

Um, I do want to mention also some great articles that I've seen talking about functioning labels

that describe the same person in two paragraphs, the first of which makes them seem high functioning,

and the second of which makes them seem low functioning.

And it's the same person, just described from two different perspectives. The first paragraph

highlighting their strengths, and the second highlighting their weaknesses.

Uh, and I think that's a pretty great way to show how not-useful functioning labels

can be, because, you know, they don't say anything inherent about a person.

They don't say anything, really, other than how you think about them.

Um, I've seen some alternatives proposed, but honestly I think the best policy is just

to say what you mean.

So that wraps this up, if you have any questions or if there's anything you'd like to see in

a future video, please let me know in the comments, and have a great day!

Well, Well, Well… Looks Like Hillary Could Actually Become President! - Duration: 5:57.

Well, Well, Well…

Looks Like Hillary Could Actually Become President!

It seems Hillary Clinton will just not let her failed 2016 Presidential election bid

die.

Even as we head into the second year, the twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary

is still pining for the highest office, still screeching "IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME!!!!"

at the top of her lungs to anyone that will listen.

She continues to assert that it is possible Russian government's influence campaign

during the 2016 presidential race could have compromised the legitimacy of President Donald

Trump's election win.

The Wicked Witch of the Left appeared on her Excuses Tour 7.0 for her list of blame for

just why she did not win her bid for the presidency – "What Happened" to promote her book

by the same name.

During that tour at a speaking engagement on September 18, 2017, Hillary stated that

she believed it was possible that Russian meddling during the 2016 presidential race

had undermined the legitimacy of election results.

Hillary added that while she held suspicions that President Trump had aided or abetted

the Russian government's influence campaign, she did not believe that the election result

could be scrapped for a do-over.

She stated – "I don't know if there's any legal constitutional way to do that.

I think you can raise questions."

Hillary states – "Let me just put it this way, if I had lost the popular vote but won

the electoral college and in my first day as president the intelligence community came

to me and said, 'The Russians influenced the election,' I would never have stood

for it even though it might've advantaged me.

I would've said 'We've got to get to the bottom of this.'"

Yet even after all this time, there are those, including Hillary herself that seems to be

under the asinine belief that Hillary Clinton could still become commander in chief.

Lawrence Lessig, the Roy L. Furman professor of law and leadership at Harvard Law School

is one of those people.

Lessig wrote an essay for Medium in October outlining a series of hypothetical scenarios

that could take place should Special Counsel Robert Mueller find through the course of

his investigation that President Trump's campaign actually conspired with Russia to

influence the results of the election.

Lessig's claims were credulously passed on by Newsweek in an actual news (not opinion)

article titled, "HILLARY CLINTON COULD STILL BECOME PRESIDENT IF RUSSIA PROBE FINDS CONSPIRACY

EVIDENCE."

Lessig writes in his essay – "If Trump did conspire with Russia, the president should

resign, or, if he doesn't, he should be impeached.

Vice President Mike Pence would also have to either resign or get impeached, which would

make House Speaker Paul Ryan the president of the United States.

Given that there is no mechanism in American law for a new election, nor a mechanism for

correcting the criminal results of the previous election, Ryan ought to nominate the person

defeated by the treason of his own party, and then step aside, and let her become President."

According to Lessig, this hypothetical and wildly inaccurate scenario would begin with

a finding of conspiracy by special counsel Robert Mueller.

It would then follow with the simultaneous impeachment and removal from office of BOTH

President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

Assuming that happened, which is so highly unlikely as to be laughable, then House Speaker

Paul Ryan would become president.

Lessig then asserts that Ryan should do the "right thing" and nominate Hillary to

be his vice president.

Ryan, in turn, would step aside thus allowing her to assume the presidency.

Lessig recently told Newsweek he still believes this is a possibility.

Yet, Newsweek is now being profoundly mocked for even entertaining such a notion by even

those on the same team.

It seems even liberals and Democrats are getting sick and tired of Hillary Clinton and many

of them are saying they would like Hillary to simply take a seat and step out of the

spotlight.

The left is citing a string of remarks made on Hillary's "Excuses" tour as Hillary

attempts to explain her epic loss.

Hillary is blaming everyone but herself with the most recent comments directed towards

blaming the Democratic National Committee for the defeat.

Many on the left are stating that her bitter comments are hurting the party and that it

is high time that she and others simply moved on.

Journalist Byron Tau of the Wall Street Journal tweeted in response to Newsweek's ridiculousness

at even entertaining such an asinine possibility – "What's left of Newsweek is actively

making people dumber and less informed and honestly should be unfollowed and shunned

for this kind of behavior."

The ridiculous assertions made by Lessig have been roundly dismissed as total pie-in-the-sky

conjecture and little more than wishful thinking as many continue to rightly point out the

U.S. Constitution and the existing laws clearly define the line of succession – leaving

no actual legal avenue for Hillary to take the presidential office, quite contrary to

the professor's claims.

What Newsweek is attempting to pass off as "news" is little more than irresponsible

journalism at its absolute worst.

It is playing on the wildest fantasies of their left-leaning audience by offering false

hope to people who simply cannot accept the results of the 2016 election or frankly anything

else that life hands them that they disagree with.

The scenario Lessig presents will never come to pass and is so highly unlikely one might

even dub it a fairy tale of sorts….a liberal fairy tale to be exact.

As even the first step with the simultaneous impeachment of Trump and Pence is completely

outside the realm of reasonable probability

Even if that were to happen, however unlikely, the idea that Ryan would simply step aside

allowing Hillary to ascend or frankly, even choose Hillary in the first place is utterly

and completely ludicrous from the outset.

This is little more than the desperate tale of those clinging to fictional "facts"

and nothing whatsoever bases in reality, let alone in the modern political climate.

What do you think about this?

The 12 Types of People On The Internet - Duration: 5:54.

Brainy Dose Presents:

The 12 Types Of People On The Internet

The internet is both wonderful and strange. While the perks are plentiful, I'm sure

you'll agree that internet users you can encounter online are quite diverse.

Some of them are intense, some of them can be annoying, some of them are inspiring and

likable – and some of them are you!

No matter how you spend your time online, you will have cyber-met at least one of each

of these folks!

Number 1 - The Centers

They are the biggest users! They breathe and live on the web. They take center stage on

the web and are active on every social community possible.

These people love creating their own web content, and are amongst the best techies. They usually

read up on all of the latest developments and get the newest devices.

Number 2 - The Critics

The internet allows anyone to be a critic while they hide behind their screens anonymously.

More than 50% of people who view user-generated content, comment on blogs and social media.

They also post ratings and reviews for products and services.

Since the rate of internet users who follow user-generated content declines with age,

for those over the age of 40, the percentage who are critics drops to around 10-20 percent.

Number 3 - The Open Sharers

You know these people, and you know them well. Whether you want to or not.

At an average age of 32, these users are always on social media platforms like Facebook and

Twitter. They share everything… where they are, what they are doing, who they are doing,

pictures of their new house or car and sometimes even when their last bowel movement was.

They use the internet to tell everyone what they are up to.

…If only they knew how much others don't give a crap. But, it's the world we live

in.

Number 4 - The Simply Interactors

These people think that Facebook is the internet. They spend all day posting cute videos and

inspirational quotes. On average, they are slightly older than open

sharers, more likely to be female, and only about 50% hold a fulltime job.

But that number sounds about right, when all your time is spent on Facebook!

To their credit, when it comes to social media, simply interactors are much savvier than the

average user. But, they fall behind everywhere else and they usually aren't very computer

savvy. Look out for that virus!

Number 5 - The Solely Shoppers

These folks are master bargain hunters. They scour the net to compare prices and find

the best deals.

News, entertainment, social interaction? Nope, just deals.

On that note, these people are the biggest targets of internet marketers, and they tend

to know very little about how data is used to target them.

Number 6 - The Passive Users

Surveys suggest that these people don't fully realize the value of the internet.

They are more likely to be unmarried males, and while they don't spend much time on

social media, they do seem to be using many mobile apps.

Passive Users are completely okay with giving up their data while they're unaware of targeted

marketing and how to manage privacy.

It's most likely that these guys spend most of their time online watching the naughty

stuff. You know… stuff that starts with a p and rhymes with horn.

Number 7 - The Proactive Protectors

This crowd is probably the geekiest and the oldest. But they are among the best educated

and most employable. They have a lot in common with 'Open Sharers',

except for the fact that they are the least willing to share their lives in public.

Small fact: Three quarters of them routinely clear their browser cookies!

Number 8 - The Gamers

Gamers are passionate and usually a pleasant bunch. Well, until the console wars start.

You know Xbox vs Playstation vs PC.

You can find them on Twitch or Youtube alike. They do tend to get a bit grumpy when their

internet connection isn't running at 100%.

Gamers tend to use the internet mainly for games, and they are much more likely to be

PC users. Because mac sucks.

Number 9 - The "New To The Internet" Users

Everyone and their grandmother is online these days. Literally!

Grandmas are popping up all over the net! Are they using the latest devices, computers

and high speed connections? Probably not, but they are there, watching your activities.

They send emails wondering why you have time for all that social media stuff but no time

to write them.

Number 10 - The Downloaders

Downloaders have huge hard drives to store all their cracked software.

They know their way around torrent sites and have a large collection of programs, movies,

music, games and stuff.

Number 11 - The Debaters

Have you ever posted something on a forum or Facebook and regretted it because it took

on a serious life of its own?

Your comment may be throwaway, but there's always the risk that it will find the attention

of someone with far more knowledge than you, and you can expect a ten paragraph response,

challenging what you've said.

Number 12 - The Trolls

Yes. This list wouldn't be complete without mentioning these guys…

They're usually hanging out in comment sections just waiting to offend someone. But, they

can sometimes bring a good laugh as well.

When it comes to trolls… well, they're everywhere, and you can't really escape

them. So, try not to take shit too seriously.

So then, which type of internet user are you? Let us know in the comments below!

Thanks for watching, and thanks for subscribing!

#20 North Korea - Improve your English and Learn Something Interesting - Duration: 17:54.

Hi.

Good morning everybody.

I hope you can hear me today.

I've still got a bit of a cold.

I can't seem to shift it.

I'e had it for almost two months now.

Hopefully I'l get over it soon.

Don't forget, as always, if you go to my home page: stevenaskew.com you can find the script

for this talk and all my other talks.

You can find questions.

You can find sample answers and you can find the MP3 to download as well.

If you subscribe, you can get these talks whenever I make them.

And if you have any other ideas you'd like me to talk about,

please put them in the comments below here.

I'd love to have some feedback.

Thank you.

All right.

Today, we're going to talk about North Korea.

Well, Korea and North Korea I suppose.

Let's look at the history first of all.

So, the North Korean, well, the Korean Peninsula.

Civilization ... evidence of civilization ... was ... has been found there, dating from

about ten thousand years ago.

So, people have been living in that area for about ten millennia.

Over time, those groups of people gradually grew together and formed larger and larger

groups, as they did in most countries, until we had three main kingdoms.

I'm not entirely sure if my pronunciation is right, but those three kingdoms were called

Baekje, Silla and Goguryeo.

Now, as again with most countries, those three kingdoms fought each other and each one was

in control for a short period of time before losing to another one.

But, over the years, gradually the Goguryeo Kingdom became the strongest.

In about 900AD it shortened its name to Goryeo, and ended up ruling pretty much the entire

Korean peninsula.

For a while, it did move up into the Chinese area, but because of the deserts and the mountains

it was too hard to rule, so they shrank back until pretty much the Korea we know today.

The English word Korea, of course, comes from Goryeo.

I believe it was brought back by Marco Polo, but I haven't researched that,

so don't hold me to that.

The Goryeo Kingdom became stronger.

A lot of things in Japan actually came across from Korea.

Buddhism in Japan came from Korea, of course.

Korea basically continued on its own, being influenced quite heavily by China, as most

countries in the area were, until a few things happened.

The two important things were the 1894 to 95 Sino Japanese war.

That, of course, was Japan versus China.

And then the 1904 Russo Japanese war, which, of course, was Japan against Russia.

In the Meiji era Japan modernized.

Japan rebuilt its army and became surprisingly powerful.

And, when these two wars happened, most countries didn't think Japan would stand a chance, but

Japan actually beat China and then beat Russia.

The two wars meant, when China was defeated they had to withdraw their support from Korea,

and when Russia was defeated as well, they had to withdraw their support from Korea,

which left Korea basically open.

And, in 1910, Japan annexed Korea.

This was technically with Korean support, but, of course, there was no support.

From 1910 until 1945, when Japan surrendered, Japan controlled Korea.

There were quite a few atrocities committed in Korea.

A lot of Korean people were killed during the war, of course, both soldiers and civilians.

Japan actually suppressed the Korean language.

They made Korean people learn Japanese.

They forced Korean people to have Japanese names, and a lot of things were done.

Anyway, that's not the point of this talk.

Surprisingly enough, many people don't know this but, when Hiroshima was bombed, the atomic

bombing of Hiroshima, a large number of the dead were actually Korean people.

They were Koreans that were conscripted to work in the Japanese factories and because

Hiroshima hadn't been bombed, it was a safe area, most of Japan's manufacturing was moved

to that area.

So, a large number of people that died there were actually Korean.

Anyway, 1945, Japan surrenders and of course, as you know, the Soviet Union takes control

of the north and America takes control of the South.

They divide this along the thirty eighth parallel,

which is the 38th degree of latitude around the world.

That's where they cut the north and south Koreas off.

We talked about the atomic bomb a little bit earlier, but one reason why the Soviet Union

didn't come into South Korea was because America had used this atomic bomb.

One of the main reasons for them to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki was not to end the war, but to

stop Russia from taking over that whole area.

And, yet again, that's a talk for another day.

So, when North and South Korea began it was relatively peaceful until the 28th of June

1950, when North Korea invaded South Korea.

Both Koreas, of course, laid claim to the other side, but when North Korea invaded South

Korea they were a communist country.

They had the support of Communist Russia ... the USSR: the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics,

and China.

And, of course, South Korea defended and they had the support of America.

The war lasted for about three years.

29th of July 1953 it finished.

But of course, as you probably know, it didn't actually finish.

There was a ceasefire, but the two Koreas are still at war today.

There was no declaration of peace, there was no ending to the war,

they just stopped shooting each other.

During that war it was pretty horrific.

About 900,000 soldiers died, most of those were on the North Korean side,

and about 2.5 million civilians were killed.

Again, most of those on the North Korean side.

Some estimates say that 20% of the North Korean population was actually killed in this war.

A side point to this was that America actually considered

using their atomic bombs during the war.

After the Second World War, they'd moved, I think, six atomic bombs into England, to

make most of Asia within reach.

So, they could have bombed the Koreas.

Of course, in 1949, the USSR had developed their own atomic bombs, so, if America had

bombed Korea, it could have meant the end of the world.

Who knows?

Anyway, so after the Korean War finished, the two Koreas became independent and they

continued their own ways.

North Korea was actually quite prosperous in the beginning.

They had the support of China, they had the support of Russia, a lot of investment, and

actually, until 1976, North Korea was more prosperous and was richer, it had a higher

G.D.P. per capita than South Korea.

But then, of course, a couple of things happened.

Chairman Mao died in China.

And Kim Il Sung, who was the head of North Korea, of course he didn't like that so he

... he didn't like the new China, so he broke ties with China and that lost a lot of investment.

And then, of course, the USSR collapsed in 1991.

And , again, that stopped all Russian investment.

So, until 1976 North Korea was very prosperous but then, after 1976 quite a few things happened,

and South Korea took off.

Right now, South Korea's per capita G.D.P. is 40 times higher than that of North Korea,

and we'll talk about that in a minute.

So, right now, North Korea and South Korea are divided along the thirty eighth parallel.

You can go to the border zone.

You can stand on one side.

You can actually go into a room and stand in a room where there's a table, and this

side of the table is South Korea, and that side of the table is North Korea.

And you can look into North Korea, and North Korea has built a city very close to the border

to show how prosperous North Korea is.

But, of course, if you look at the city with a telescope, you can see that it's actually

a fake city.

There's nobody living there, it's just a fake city.

And this is one of the things that we'll talk about with North Korea, possibly: How important

appearances are to them.

How they need to appear to be wealthy and prosperous and successful and powerful, when

in fact it's all for show, basically.

So, after the Korean War, Kim Il Sung takes control.

He was a war hero.

He fought the Japanese during the Second World War.

He was a war hero and he became president, basically.

He lived from 1912 until 1994 and his idea was that Korea should be ... North Korea sorry,

should be completely self-sufficient.

So, he withdrew as much as possible from China and from Russia.

He thought everything should be made, manufactured, grown, developed within North Korea.

As we can see that wasn't a very successful idea, but that was the beginning of the North

Korean philosophy.

He also created the cult of personality which his son, Kim Jong Il built on.

Kim Jong Il obviously took over when his father died in 1994.

Kim Jong Il was a very important figure in the development of North Korea.

He believed in military first.

He believed in military might and he directed most of North Korea's G.D.P., I think it's

about 25% of their G.D.P., towards the military.

North Korea has one of the largest standing armies in the world because pretty much everybody

is in the army.

He did that for a number of reasons.

One reason was to cement control over the country.

He wanted to stop coups, and if you can control the military you can generally control the country.

But, he also built on the god status, the cult of personality.

He spread many myths about himself.

You might have heard some of them.

He said that he was born on a mountain.

Well, you've heard many of the stories, I'm sure.

And, basically, setting himself up as a god.

He wants to be more than a person, he wants to be a god.

And, what he did is, he made his father the Eternal General ... sorry ... he made his

father the Eternal President, and when Kim Jong Il died he became the Eternal General Secretary.

But, more than that, to the people of North Korea they are gods.

There are statues and pictures of them everywhere.

If you see a statue of the founding fathers, Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, you must stop,

you must bow, you must pay your respects.

If you take a photograph, the whole of the statue must be in the photograph.

You have to pay your respects.

And you can see this in pictures where people are meeting the Supreme Leader and they're

crying and they're screaming.

They're basically meeting their God, I should say.

So, during Kim Jong Il's reign, there were quite a few problems because he directed most

of the G.D.P. towards the military, the economy basically suffered.

In the 1990s there were severe floods, there were severe droughts and there are ... were

huge huge famines.

Millions of people actually starved to death.

In the end the U.N. had to send aid in to help.

Although a lot of that aid was stolen and redirected.

Anyway, 2011, Kim Jong Il died and he has been replaced by his son Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un was Kim Jong Il's son from one of his four wives.

He had many wives.

Kim Jong Un became leader in 2011.

He is the Supreme Leader.

He cemented his control.

He was very young when he took power, he took control by executing a large number of opponents,

as you probably saw in the news.

Anyway, that brings us up to the modern day.

So, Kim Jong Un is building on the cult of personality.

He's building on the god status.

He travels around his country, travels around his factories ... Sorry ... And you probably

see him in pictures surrounded by his subordinates, surrounded by soldiers, and all of these subordinates

have a notebook in their hand.

This started with his father, but, basically, because Kim Jong Un is a god, everything he

says is important.

Everything he says is correct and important and must be written down.

So, all of his subordinates are there with notebooks writing down everything he says.

If you don't have a notebook of course, you're probably going to get punished.

So, everybody has a notebook.

Of course, if what he says is wrong, you don't write it down.

Anyway, that's why in all the pictures you see his subordinates carrying around notebooks.

Ok.

So, as you probably know, North Korea is a fairly corrupt regime.

Kim Jong UN has 17 mansions.

He has a yacht.

He has a ski resort.

He spends about $63,000 a year on brandy.

The average salary in North Korea is about $804 a year.

He spends over $100,000 a year on alcohol, on expensive alcohols.

In 2012, he spent about $645 million on luxury goods.

Since he took control, his weight has blossomed, bloomed, exploded.

He's now estimated to be about 130kg.

If you look at pictures of him in the beginning, he was never actually thin, but now he's huge

and he wears long coats to try and disguise that.

The North Korean economy is suffering, is collapsing.

If you look at a global map at night you can very clearly see Japan over here very brightly

lit, China up here brightly lit, South Korea brightly lit, North Korea completely dark.

Pyongyang, the capital is slightly bright, but the rest of North Korea is completely black.

Why?

Because there is no electricity.

People are starving.

The communist regime, they take food from the people.

There is famine.

There's drought.

The people are basically starving.

And while they're starving, Kim Jong Un gets fatter and fatter.

And there are sanctions.

Very strong sanctions have been placed upon North Korea recently because they won't give

up their nuclear weapons program.

So, at the expense of his people, Kim Jong Un is continuing in this stubborn attempt

to build nuclear weapons.

If he was going hungry with his people, if he was fighting with his people against the

oppressors, you could understand it, but he's obviously not.

He's doing this at the expense of his people.

He doesn't seem to care about his people.

So, what's going to happen to North Korea?

I have no idea, but it will probably collapse at some point.

However, China and North Korea want to prevent that as much as possible.

Recently, the strongest sanctions have been placed upon North Korea, but China is always

the one that wants to help North Korea.

Why is that?

Well basically, because America has military bases in South Korea and in Japan.

North Korea is a buffer zone between South Korea and China.

If Korea was to collapse ... North Korea was to collapse, and become one with South Korea,

then the U.S. military would be right on the border of China, and obviously China doesn't

want that.

So, China wants to prop up the North Korean regime as much as possible to try and stop

America coming close to them.

South Korea doesn't not want North Korea to collapse, but South Korea cannot afford North

Korea to collapse.

If you look at 1990, 1991, when East and West Germany combined ... unified, what happened

to begin with?

The poor East Germans flooded into rich West Germany and the West German economy collapsed

for a long time.

But, now, if you look at Europe, Germany, unified Germany, is one of the richest countries

in Europe.

Well that's because of course they have more people, they have more laborers, they have

more work, they have a lot of benefits.

South Korea and North Korea will not survive as easily as East Germany and West Germany did.

One reason for that is because the population of North Korea is higher than the population

of East Germany was.

Another reason is the mean income was higher.

East Germans had on average about $10,000 apiece.

North Koreans have about a $1,000 apiece.

So, when North and South Korea combine, the hit to South Korea is going to be enormous,

and their economy is going to collapse.

America will probably help and support them, Japan might, too, but it is going to be a

huge problem for their economy.

They will probably come through it, but it will take a long long time.

So, those are two reasons why China and South Korea don't want the North Korean regime to

collapse.

However, regime change is probably inevitable.

Something will have to happen.

I don't know what.

Anyway, that was quite interesting.

Thanks for watching.

For Eric. - Duration: 8:12.

Good evening, Eric.

There are five things you need to know.

1.

I know you more than you think.

Not for the purpose of being malicious (hurting you) but to learn more about you.

2.

I finally got to see you.

I will not disclose the location, when, and how I got to that place.

But I saw you, and you look wonderful.

3.

It bothers me that you do not give me the benefit of the doubt.

That hurts.

4.

I want you to know no matter what, I won't even be angry at you.

5.

I am not the person I was 20 years ago.

I'm different now.

Now, with all of that in mind, when I had the opportunity to see you, I was struck by

how different you looked, older….and just beautiful.

Beautiful.

I am really sorry that you do not feel comfortable to be a friend.

And I have a theory if you would indulge me for a moment.

People who go to great lengths to avoid someone, that is a strong indication that that individual

has mixed feelings and chooses not to deal with it.

My repeated attempts to contact you and trying to send you nice videos, and Facebook requests

saying "Hey!!!

:-D" you totally shut me out.

I was like um okay.

Upon further research, I was aware that you were with someone.

So I said Oh I should write a letter…. to you guys.

You have no idea how much I would love to be friends.

You have no idea.

I don't think you are in a place yet to express your side of the story/situation.

So, I wanted to let you know that I'm here, without any judgements or bias, and that I'm

not going anywhere.

MM.

Okay?

Now, I love you so … so much, you have no idea.

I want YOU to be HAPPY.

I want you to be all that you can be.

I cannot look at your pictures or whatever anymore, because it conjures up too many feelings

that has not been resolved like adults should.

(mumbling) so in love.

You would think that, after 20 years, I would have moved on!

*whispers* I haven't.

The very best I can hope (my god I live on it) is penpals between us.

Normal stuff.

Nothing to do with that phase.

I really want to know more about Cape Cod.

I am dying to go there someday!

Do you know why I cannot stay engaged and marry?

Because I still love you!

And there were other reasons.

Ugh.

I really don't want to be married.

I like being single.

God gave me my life in terms of strong genetics and health and as a part of the agreement,

I am to live my life as a good person and to do good work . And to be pure.

BTW whoever does drinking, drugs, leather clubs, or whatever, I'm fine with that.

It takes A LOT to really shake me.

I've been around the block 100 times, and I'm now in a nice quiet life.

I wish…eeee…that you understand that I love you.

But I will not pursue you.

I saw you, and that will last me 50, 100 lifetimes!!

I don't want to be WITH YOU.

I just want us to be OKAY.

And when you're ready, and you will be perhaps, I will sit here quietly and listen to everything

you have to say.

You have that right.

To talk about how much I've hurt you.

Because that was….

Wow.

You came out to your parents reading a letter.

The Surgery.

The screaming.

The phone calls.

So.

I LOVE YOU.
