Youtube daily report w Jan 31 2018

[Intro music plays]

Hey guys! It is me, Chaseypoo and today I'm going to be reviewing

another product by Reelmagik.

Today I'm going to be reviewing their cut packer.

Now, before I do this video there's a little disclaimer

This is a prosthetic that is used to alleviate dysphoria for transgender men

Please don't, PLEASE, I beg you please, don't

don't flag this video please

Um, people who are under 18 would love to watch this video and see these prosthetics

because they could use them themselves.

So without further ado, this is the uncut* packer that is 4.5" from Reelmagik.

The density of this one is "classic"

Now, it can also come in a soft

Um, the soft one, let me take it out of my underwear

is like the um, uncut version. It's a lot more squishy, and then there is a lightweight version

but that one hasn't come out yet.

I MUCH prefer the soft version than the um classic version.

This is a little too hard for me.

I really like the mushiness of the other one.

If you want to know more about that packer because these packers are relatively the same honestly,

um, go to that review. The review will be in the link in the description below.

It's where I review the 5" uncut packer that is soft.

This one is just a little bit smaller which is why there's two different review videos for these packers

even though they're almost the same. So this one over here is cut.

Okay, which means that it doesn't have any foreskin and it is a lot smaller in size when you pack it in your underwear.

Now I'm going to demonstrate what it looks like in underwear, the underwear that I use every day.

And I'm also going to show you what it looks like in underwear from FTM Downunder.

So this is what this one looks like in your pants.

Alright, it is a little bit harder than the uncut one that I've talked about in the past.

And the head is a litte more prominent? I don't know how to explain that, whatever.

Um, but it does feel more compact which is really great.

And then this is what it looks like from the front like this. I sti- I really don't like the front view honestly

And then the side view.

And then in pants honestly it looks the same as it does in the skinny jeans as the uncut version

so I'm not gonna put my pants on, but I just wanted to show you that.

Um, and then I'm gonna show you what it looks like in the um underwear from FTM Downunder

So in the underwear of FTM Downunder it doesn't really pack as well as the 5" uncut one

But if you wear skinny jeans it kind of just kinda HOLDS everything together

so it's not that big of a deal. Remember that these ones have an O-ring

but you shouldn't put the prosthetic in the O-ring because it can damage it.

But if you wanna just see what it would look like- DON'T DO THIS THOUGH

but if you wanted to see what it could look like

the underwear actually has a nice little pouch, I just I wouldn't want you guys to pay

money for this prosthetic and then it being ruined, but with the o-ring,

it doesn't actually choke it like other o-ring underwear type um has it

so it, I don't think it would actually really really mess up your prosthetic if you don't wear it like every single day.

Once in a while. And it does help just to keep it just in place

[laughing] a little more. Yes fondle your weiner on TV. On TV?

Can you imagine if I had a TV show doing this? [sigh]

[sighs] dreams Chase, These are my dreams.

So here's the thing. The one thing that I wish about these packers is that there was a kind of hybrid of them

of the uncut and the cut. I wish that the uncut version could also come in a 4 and a half

because this one is MUCH smaller and if this one was the squishy, the soft version I that think this is the one

that I would pack with, EVEN THOUGH I much prefer to pack with uncut peens

okay and the reason because of the size

I LOVE the uncut 5" one and I love it and I talk about how if you're planning on having phalloplasty,

You should probably pack with this packer because it looks like you have a bulge as if you had phalloplasty.

[inhales deeply] Now, this can also give you that effect, just a little bit smaller

and it does make it a little bit easier for running, it does make it a little bit easier for biking,

and it does make it a little bit easier for other things. Now there are pros and cons for both of them.

If you are looking for an uncut packer, the size I thought was going to be absolutely too big for me,

watch the video. I'll put the link in the description below, I talk about how I overcame that bigness.

Just for reference, I am 5'6" so if you are a lot smaller than that, then the 5" might be a little too big

and you might want to go with the 4.5".

The packer that I usually use is the Mr. Limpy which costs $12, this bad boy over here costs $60

I know its a steep price up from other packers that you've seen like the sailor and all the other ones.

But honestly as a packer that feels this nice and this squishy because you can get this in a soft

And it is- I 100% would buy it again. Because it is super comfortable and I've never not had...

I've never not had bottom dysphoria? I feel like I don't have bottom dysphoria related to packing at all anymore

when I wear these packers.

And I just wish that this one came in uncut but that's okay.

So this is what it looks like close up.

And then with the balls over here. Alright and then there is a flat base in the back which is absolutely amazing

because then it just kind of sits on you and it just stays there.

And other packers you kind of have to move to the side and stuff like the Mr. Limpy which

I'm like all over the place right now but this is the Mr. Limpy, and the size difference

there is a significant size difference, yes, but trust me this one you have to pack it to the side

and it was kind of awkward if you pack it to the front because the balls are there

At least this it's like anatomically correct to like a cis male

so it makes it feel more natural.

And I forgot to say this in the uncut review but, this is going to sound so weird but it passes the cis test?

I got all of my friends to go ahead and squish the weiner that I had in my pants so that they can feel it

and they were all like "oooooooo" like yes the softer one is a lot squishier so it feels more like a stress ball

but it feels good. Whereas this one maybe feels a little more realistic to a cis male penis.

Um, but I would still recommend getting the soft because that's just my opinion I don't know

The hard one, its not bad, you know what? You do what you want okay?

But as far as the uncut goes, and as far as the cut goes, these ones are absolutely amazing packers to have.

I definitely would recommend them for yourself or for a gift for somebody. I know that this one looks a little bit bigger but the squishiness is nice.

Oh I just love these packers so much

Anyways if you wanna buy it, I do have a discount code, the first 100 people who buy will receive a discount

so it's only 100 people so if you want to buy it, buy it right now. The link will be in the description below with the discount code.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know I will be happy to review them.

Hopefully, reelmagik will send me an STP next that I can review which I am super excited about.

Because a lot of you have been asking for the STP so that's why I'm getting these reviews out

as quick as possible so that you guys can see them and see where we can go from there

Alright, I'll see you guys later, have a great week, bye!

GAO's E-Filing System - Filing a New Bid Protest - Duration: 5:23.

Welcome to the tutorial

on filing a new bid protest

in GAO's Electronic Protest Docketing System

also known as EPDS.

Before we get started, please keep in mind

that EPDS performs best

when accessing it using the following web

browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox,

Safari or Microsoft Edge.

We do not recommend

that you use Internet Explorer.

So, let's get started.

After you log in to EPDS,

you can start the process

of filing a new bid protest

by clicking the File New Protest tab

in the Navigation Pane.

A Warning message appears asking if you want

to proceed to file a new protest.

Read the Warning and then click Yes.

The New Protest Information form appears.

Complete all of the required fields

on the form starting with the Company Name.

Next, in the Size Status section,

click on the option

that best describes the protester's size

with respect to the procurement

that is being protested.

For guidance on how

to determine the protester's size

for the procurement,

hover your mouse over the question mark.

If you do not know the protester's size

for the procurement at issue, select Large

and then scroll down.

Next, complete the Company Address section.

Scroll down again.

Then, in the Protest Detail section,

type the Solicitation Number.

This number can be found on the solicitation

to which you are filing a protest.

If you do not know the solicitation number,

type unknown in both

of the Solicitation Number fields.

Now from the Agency Tier 1 drop-down menu,

select the agency that issued the solicitation.

This information can be found

on the solicitation.

For some agencies,

you may need to select additional identifying

information from the Agency Tier 2 field.

For example, here the solicitation was issued

by the National Oceanic

and Atmospheric Administration.

Therefore, we will select this option

from the Agency Tier 2 field.

Next, you need to upload a protest document.

Note that only PDF

and Excel files can be attached.

To upload a document, click the Add File button.

The Open window appears.

Locate and select the file you'd like to attach

to the Protest Form.

Then, click the Open button.

The New Protest Information form reappears

and the document you just uploaded displays

in the Upload Protest Document section.

Answer the question on the form that asks,

"Do you want to Upload Associated Documents?"

If you need to upload additional documents,

click Yes and a new Add File button will appear

allowing you to upload an additional document.

If you do not need

to upload additional documents, click No.

Then, respond Yes or No to the question,

"Do any of these documents contain information

that is proprietary, confidential,

or otherwise not releasable to the public?"

For this example, we'll click Yes and scroll

down to the bottom of the form.

If you would like to add any comments

to your protest filing,

you may add them in the Comments field.

Once the form is complete,

click the Submit button.

A Warning message appears to alert you

that you will be directed to the Pay.gov site

to pay the fee required

to process your protest filing.

Your protest filing will not be complete

until you have paid the filing fee.

Once you have made the payment,

you will not be able to edit your filing.

Please be aware that the filing fee will be

reviewed every 2 years and is subject to change.

After you have read the Warning message,

proceed to Pay.gov by clicking Yes.

You are directed to Pay.gov

to pay the filing fee.

Select the payment method you intend to use.

For this example, we will select the option

to pay with a debit or credit card

and click the Continue button.

Complete the form

to process the payment method you selected.

When you have completed the form,

click the Continue button.

A summary of your payment information appears.

Review your payment information

and then click the checkbox next

to the statement, "I authorize a charge

to my card account for the above amount

in accordance with my card issuer agreement."

Then click the Submit button.

The Payment Success dialog box appears

confirming that your payment

to pay.gov has been received.

You will also receive an email

from EPDS confirming receipt

of your filing fee payment.

To close this dialog box, click OK.

Your newly filed protest will appear

in the Active Cases Dashboard but does not

yet have a B-Number assigned to it.

EPDS will send an email

to the procuring agency notifying them

that you have filed a new protest

and will also send you a courtesy copy

of that email.

GAO will assign an attorney to the protest

and will prepare a case acknowledgement package

that includes the B-Number assigned to it.

Once GAO makes the acknowledgement package

available to you on the Dashboard,

you will receive an email notification letting

you know you can access it.

This concludes the tutorial

on Filing a New Bid Protest.

GAO's E-Filing System - Adding a Co-Representative to a Bid Protest Case - Duration: 2:58.

Welcome to the tutorial

on Adding a Co-Representative

to a Bid Protest Case in EPDS.

Before we get started, please keep in mind

that EPDS performs best

when accessing it using the following web

browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox,

Safari or Microsoft Edge.

We recommend that you do not use

Internet Explorer.

So, let's get started.

Each bid protest case can have

up to four representatives,

also known as co-representatives, who can access

and file documents in EPDS.

In order for a representative

to access the case,

they must have an EPDS user account.

All representatives associated

with a bid protest case appear

on the Case Docket Sheet on the Parties tab.

Let's review the steps

for adding a co-representative now.

When you log in to EPDS, the Dashboard appears.

From the Dashboard,

locate the case to which you wish

to add a representative.

If you have multiple cases in your Dashboard,

you can use the Filter Records field to assist

with performing a search.

Once the case is located, click its B-Number.

The Case Docket Sheet opens.

Click the Parties tab in the Navigation Pane.

The Parties screen appears.

Scroll down to the Primary

Representative section.

Click the Add 2nd Rep button

in the Primary Representative section.

The Add Secondary Representatives dialog

box appears.

In order to invite a secondary representative

to join a case, remember the invitee must have

an EPDS user account.

When you invite a person

who does not have an EPDS user account,

the following error message appears alerting you

that the user account does not exist in EPDS

for the email address you submitted.

Click the OK button.

Once the user creates an account in EPDS,

you can invite them to join the case

by clicking the Add 2nd Representative button.

In the Add Secondary Representative dialog box,

type the email address for the person you would

like to invite to join the case.

Then click the Send Invite button.

The Success dialog box appears letting you know

that your invitation was successfully submitted.

Click OK. The Parties screen reappears.

The EPDS application sends the invitee an email

asking them to join the case.

The next time the invitee logs into EPDS,

the Invitation dialog box appears asking them

to join the case by clicking either Yes or No.

If the invitee accepts the invitation,

then he or she will automatically be granted

access to the case.

The next time you, the primary representative,

log into EPDS and after the invitee has accepted

the invitation, when you scroll

down to view the Parties screen,

you will see their information

in the Secondary Representative section.

You can delete them as a representative

or add additional Secondary Representatives

to the bid protest case.

This concludes the tutorial

on Adding a Co-Representative

to a Bid Protest Case.

If you wish to upload a different document,

click the Remove button first to remove it

and then repeat these steps.

When you have the desired document uploaded,

click the Submit button.

The Dashboard appears

and the case you just requested

to join is listed as an Active Case

but is in a "pending" status.

Once GAO reviews your request to join the case,

it will either be "acknowledged" or "rejected."

If you attempt to view the Case Docket Sheet

by clicking the B-Number before GAO makes a

decision, the Request Pending dialog box appears

alerting you that the status

of your request is pending.

The case docket screen only appears

if your request has been acknowledged by GAO.

To close the Request Pending dialog box,

just click OK.

Once GAO acknowledges your request,

you will see your Notice

of Appearance was acknowledged.

Now, if GAO rejects your request,

an email confirmation is sent

from EPDS letting you know your request has

been rejected.

When you click on the "rejected" B-Number,

the following dialog box appears alerting you

that your appearance has not been acknowledged

by GAO and includes a link to a file

that contains additional information

about why GAO did not acknowledge the case.

You will need to click on the link

to read the information.

Here, we will click OK to close this dialog box.

The Dashboard reappears.

All cases you requested access to appear

Fernando Alonso On All Things F1 - Duration: 4:52.

Everything is broadcasted probably you know what is sad that there are some

other moments you know even the drivers briefing or even you know if my teammate

will Stoffel or last year with Jenson and they were quite funny you know

because I knew after the race you know what they said and which moment they

they did but sometimes it's not broadcasted and it's a shame that they

always pick me up but you know that's the way it is

The conversation with Jensen was quite fun obviously he he has this this quick you

know answer to to everything is he has this ability you know to think

quickly you know in a stressful moment so I was quite relaxed I was in the

motorhome in Indianapolis so I had plenty of time to think what I was

telling him I tried to be funny you know you know, Jenson I know you

wanted so much to drive my car you know good luck and and he quickly you know

answer and you know he said something that I had no answer you know to what he said

He's great man and he did a great job in Monaco the team was

super happy and we are still missing him

I think the best moment of the year probably has been Brazil you know I

think we were quite competitive there we had a good fight with with Felipe all

the race long and some points for the team were important so I think the car

became more and more competitive during the season so Brazil you know the

penultimate race was was quite good fun

The fastest lap in Hungary was also a good moment but it was arguably the same in

in Silverstone in Q1 when we fit another set of inter tyres I think and we were P1

You know there are some some sparks you know here and there but it's

not what we want you know so it was it was good fun but I think Brazil was overall a better moment

I think the last three years we all change here in the team

we had some tough moments we learn things hard lessons sometimes

because we have some painful retirements and things like that but I think the

team now is ready to perform at the best. The biggest thing that I learned in the

last three years were the spirit of the team you know they never gave up they

were very united, they've been very constructive they were

working flat-out even to bring half a tenth for the next race even if we were

fighting for 16th you know that spirit in the team was remarkable and is

something that I will keep for me in the long term

I think with the Renault power unit is gonna be a little bit better actually

this year in many things we cannot forget that the last three winters we

didn't have a normal winter we hardly run the car so we arrive to Australia

with a completely unknown package I think that's gonna be very different

next year and looking forward

In terms of results is going to be always different to predict

this is Formula One, this is not a mathematical sport that

you know in advance anything can happen even the favorite ones so the world

champions now Mercedes cannot guarantee that next year they will be fastest but

you know we we are quite optimistic we know what Red Bull is doing with a

Renault power unit they are maybe not the fastest in qualifying but they are

quite fast on the race, they've been in couple of podiums they want two or three

races so with those kind of results I think we will be very happy next year

you know if we are in the fight and if we can taste the champagne again

REEL MAGIK 4.5" CUT PACKER REIVEW - Duration: 7:10.

German Tries AMERICAN SWEETS & CHOCOLATES - Duration: 9:56.

I think it's time for Stefan to try some more American sweets.

Hey everyone, Dana here. And Stefan.

We've been to the U.S. a few times now, you've had some chocolates.

We've done a video where you've had some American chocolates and candies.

But I don't think you've ever had any of these.

This will be your first time having these. I think. - We will see.

Let's start with one that I also haven't had before.

You're showing me the back.

Okay it has ah...you gave it to me like that. - I'm sorry!

Well so that they can see the thing that I'm passing.

That's upside-down. Can I pick something? - No. I have to give it to you. - I will pick this.

I will pick this.

Here you go. - Payday. King size. - Yes. - Peanut, caramel bar.

I would imagine it to be nuts with... - You know it's nuts.

It says right there peanut.

Yeah, but peanut cream or peanut mousse or half peanuts or full peanuts covered in chocolate.

Let me finish what I'm saying. - Okay. Alright.

So I would say it's full peanuts covered in some sort of a sugar, no chocolate and caramel

because it says caramel. - Alright, so you're saying no chocolate.

I'm saying no chocolate. - Oh, okay. I've never even had this, and I even...oh my gosh!

It's not covered in chocolate.

I 100% thought it was covered in chocolate.

Wow. - I saw that coming. - I did not see that coming.

Oh, that's salty. - Can I? Can I? That's salty but it's good! - It's good.

It gets 4 out of 6 candies.

I'm going to keep eating it, no we should... - Next one! - Next one.

100 Grand. Rich! - Yeah! - Milk chocolate, crispy crunchies, chewy caramel.

Caramel again. - But this definitely says chocolate. This has chocolate. - Yeah.

So it's a small little chocolate bar.

Oh!

Yeah. - This is my first time having this. How many candies does this get?

Five and a half out of six. - Wow! - Um, I would wish for more crispies in it.

Would you like my last bite or no? You want it? Okay.

Oh! Gl... - What are they called?

Good & Plenty. Licorice candy.

Why did you buy it, and I didn't even know that licorice candy exists in the U.S.

Yeah. There are people in the U.S. who like licorice.

I just happen to not like licorice.

But my dad likes licorice. You know. There are people...my dad.

And other people like licorice.

I just don't like licorice.

We should have a vote. Up in the corner here. - Do you like licorice? - Up in the corner there.

Up in this area. It's really complicated, you're right. If you're sitting here you don't know.

You don't know. - You should have a voting in this corner. - Do you like licorice?

So there's white ones and there's pink ones.

Are the white or pink any different?

I don't know. - They exist in Germany too. - Oh. - You can buy then at Christmas.

Are they called Good & Plenty? - They are not called Good & Plenty. - Oh okay.

But it's good licorice with a hard candy shell.

Four out of 6. - Four out of 6? - Yeah. - Nice.

Okay, do you want a chocolate or do you want a candy?

We can go for chocolate again.

Okay. So this is another one that I'll be having for my first time.

Which I'm shocked because I love toffee.

Skor. - It looks so good! It looks so good.

Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme. - Yeah.

That's so good. That's amazing. - Four out of six. - Well then good.

This is for me. - Great. It's good. The chocolate is good.

The toffee is good. It's hard caramel, or? - It's got a good...

I don't really know what toffee is. Please don't ask me.

I don't know what toffee is. I think it's...I don't know what toffee is. - Doesn't matter.

But it's so good! - Let us know in the comments what coffee is, toffee - Toffee.

Okay.

I would say this has...um, what is it? - It's Peppermint Pattie. That's the name.

Oh, I love it. Can I? Can I? Can I? Can I? - No. It gets a 3 out of 6.

Well good then. - I don't know why you combine peppermint with chocolate around it.

I love it. Three out of 6 for you? Does that mean it's mine? - Yeah. - Yes. It's mine.

Aw, Hershey's, okay. Chocolate & Creme. - No.

It's not chocolate and creme. What does it say? - Oh. Cookies, sorry. Hershey's Cookies & Creme.

Can I have? - No. - I'm so excited to have these as well.

Yeah?

Five out of 6. It's good. - Yeah. - It's pretty good.

Here you go. You can take it. - Baby Ruth. - Uh-huh.

Oh!

Don't record our face. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hit you.

Four out of 6. Four out of 6. Okay.

Something different. Not chocolate. - Twizzlers.

Is it not also like a movie theater candy?

I think so.

I mean I guess it might be sold at movie theaters, but in the U.S. it's just sort of a normal candy.

So, it's a candy that's sold at movie theaters.

Okay.

Oh, so it's one, - No, no, you... - one big one, but you have to - Yeah. - rip it off.

Oh, so you break the packaging completely.

This already smells like the most amazing - It smells like my childhood.

- strawberry artificial flavoring.

Oh, they're softer than I thought. No. This gets 2 out of 6. - Oh no! So these are all for me.

I love it. So what don't you like about it?

Just the whole consistency and the taste. - The whole thing. And I like about it everything.

The consistency, the flavor. And look.

You can bite off both ends and have a little straw.

Chocolate. - Crunch. - Crunch.

This was the only one that I was worried you had had before.

Oh it has also crispies in it. - Yeah.

Can I? No? - No. - Ah! - Five out of 6.

Great chocolate. Lot of crispies. Lot of chocolate.

They're not called crispies they're called crisped rice. - Okay, crisped rice.

Maybe even five and a half.

Oh jeez. Cinnamon again. You know how I love cinnamon.

They are Hot Ones. - No. Read it again. - Redhots!

Ah, how many do I have to? - I, yeah you just gotta throw a handful in. Throw a handful in. Okay.

Drei, vier, sechs, acht.

Zwei, vier, sechs, sieben. - I think... - You have to put one more.

I think that you think this is going to be hotter than it is.

No, I just don't like cinnamon. - Oh, that's right! You don't like cinnamon the spice.

Exactly. - Oh, right, yeah.

Hot won't be a problem but cinnamon. - Oh, okay. Alright. You ready?

They're less chewable than I remember them being. They're hot. Ooooh!

They're not hot for you? - No. - It's that one more you made me eat.

Look at him. Look at his face. - I don't like cinnamon. - I like it.

Yeah, they are hot, but... - It's spicy or hot and I'm like eeehh, but I like it.

I don't like cinnamon. They get 1 out of 6 candies.

Alright. That was it. - That was good. - That's all I've got.

So our question for you is: have you ever had any of these chocolates or candies, and

what did you think of them?

Please let us know in the comments below.

We have T-shirts!

Two designs at the moment.

One design is the Einhörnchen design.

It will be around for a limited amount of time.

And then we have a T-shirt that is there the whole year.

The Wanted Adventure design.

The Wanted Adventure logo on a T-shirt.

And why do we have Einhörnchen?

Because I said in another video a long time ago...long time, many years ago, that instead

of Eichhörnchen, I often accidentally say Einhörnchen.

So I drew an Einhörnchen.

And they're available in different colors besides just blue but blue's my favorite color,

so I bought them all in blue. - Exactly.

Thank you so much for watching until the end of the video. - You're still here! . If you enjoy

the videos maybe leave a thumbs up with the like button.

And if you're not subscribed, maybe think about subscribing to the channel.

And who do we need to say a really, really, really, really, really big thank you to?

Not only need but want to say our patrons on Patreon, thank you so much for helping

make these videos possible. - Yeah. Thank you so much for your support.

If you would like to check out our Patreon page, where can it be found?

In the description box below. - Yes.

Until next time, auf Wiedersehen!

Hey everyone! Dana here. - And Stefan. - And today...I didn't do anything.

Four, four out of candies, four out of candies.

Four out of candies?

Four...four out of 6 candies.

FINALLY MOVING TO FINLAND (All the details) - Duration: 11:33.

You know what? I feel a little bit bad.

Yesterday I put out an Instagram post

I also put out on the community tab here on YouTube and on my Twitter saying

that there's gonna be a big announcement coming today and for people to try and

guess what it could be. And there were so many people that guessed

that Cat and I were having a baby so I'm wondering now if this will be a

little bit of an anti-climax. So, I hope you're not disappointed now.

Now that you've seen the title and are watching this video that Cat and I are moving to Finland.

Honestly, I can't say that without a giant grin on my face.

*sighs*

You know what guys this has been like the hardest three or four months of my life

Trying to keep this a secret because we decided back in like October/November

time that we were gonna do this but we didn't want to like make it public or

even tell any of our family that we were gonna do it until we kind of, you know

let it sink in a little bit and see if it felt right. Now I'm so psyched

that I can now tell you my internet family. In this video I'm gonna tell

you guys as much detail and information that I can and by that I mean I'm gonna

tell you everything that I know at this very second. Cat has also made a video on her

channel as well. And the reason why we decided to make two separate videos is

because although we made this decision as a couple, as a team, and we are both

100% behind this decision. We both have our separate reasons for why we want to

make this change and our own separate kind of thoughts and feelings about it

So, yeah this kind of just made more sense but yeah you should go check her video

out once you're done watching this. There'll be links everywhere you know

what to do by now. I'm gonna be throwing a lot of information at you and details

about this move so try and keep up. Today I freakin', I've got notes

Dave, you've changed man. I figured I'd better do some notes so that this

doesn't end up being an hour long feature film. I figured I'm gonna

answer the three main questions that you guys may be thinking.

Why when and where.

The three w's! But if you have any other questions about our move please leave

them in the comments below I think I'm gonna like, pick them out and cover them

in vlogs over the next few weeks so yeah if you have any questions leave them in

the comments I'll cover them in another video. All right let's jump into why we

are moving to Finland. Now this is the one where I have by far the most bullet

points and actually making these notes made me realize

that this is just the best decision that we're ever gonna make. I'm so happy. I'm so

happy looking at this list. If you've been watching my videos for a while this

might be very very clear for you already. But if you're new here let me just explain a

little bit about my relationship with Finland

Of course, first of all Cat, my fiance is Finnish.

And Since Cat and I met I've been kind

of documenting my time and experiences whilst going and visiting Finland and stuff.

And then we fast-forward like two years and now my youtube channel has

grown exponentially past my expectations My audience is developed to be like 93

percent Finnish people or people in Finland watching my videos

In June last year I became a full-time YouTube content creator so because now my

audience is so obviously like condensed in Finland that's where all the

opportunities come up whether it be for brands or whatever

So basically if you're watching this and you live in Finland this whole move is your fault

(Thank you)

But besides the business opportunities and that kind of stuff I

think this is gonna give me so much more opportunities to make fresh, new, exciting

content that hopefully you guys are gonna love. That's honestly what really

excites me the most about this move that once again I can put my heart and soul

into making videos and, ahh God I'm so psyched ARGHH

alright we should probably move on to

the next point before I get too excited Second big reason is for us to have a

new fresh start. I think this year is gonna be really exciting for Cat and I

both as a couple. Of course, we're getting married this July which is like super

exciting, of course. and to pair that with moving country and moving cat back home

and keep in mind that Cat has lived here in London for like the last 10 years so

she's never really actually lived in Finland as like an adult so to speak

This fresh start is gonna be for both of us as individuals and as a couple.

It's going to be such an exciting adventure to do this and to do it with her as well

And I think this is all more exciting because for me I've never really enjoyed

being in London. It's much different to what I was used to living like outside of the city

But what it boils down to really is

I just don't like London. I don't like it at all

It's just way too busy for me and although

we're literally going to trade one capital city for the next which I'll

talk a bit more in the "where" section of this video because Helsinki for me is

the perfect compromise between big city and kind of chill living

I've mentioned this before in a few videos and I always get comments like:

"Helsinki he's way too busy for me, I like my small town in in Finland" but once you've

lived in London, honestly anywhere is chill compared to this place

And with this new start of course will come a new apartment and although this place has

been great whilst we've been here the last like three years

London apartments just suck, even if you get a nice one it sucks. If you get a nice one

you're probably paying way too much money for it but it just seems to me

that you'll always get a nicer place in Helsinki then you could for the

equivalent money in London, of course. So yeah a nice new apartment with like a

proper shower. *Oh my God*

So it's gonna be so nice to have like a fresh slate a new star

I want to move tomorrow honestly

How are we doing for time? Do I still have time? OK, cool

Reason number three as to why we're moving. Personal / private life I guess

we'll call this one. Firstly the thing that comes to mind is the quality of

life in Finland is just so much better. If you type into Google "what country has

the best quality of life" Finland will always be in like the top five or six or

something and having stayed there for like two months at a time I completely

see that. So, it's gonna be really nice for Cat and I to be able to bump up our

standard of living a little bit. Also, of course Cat and I have a lot of family

in Finland so it's gonna be nice to be closer to those guys. I don't know if

they shared the same feelings but... and as you've seen maybe in my vlogs I've got a

lot of friends now in Finland which is really cool and because I've kind of

like forced myself into this Finnish YouTube community a lot of my friends

are like-minded they share the same goals as me so I think it's gonna be

really nice again to have those people close by

so I think that pretty much

covers the "why" we're moving to Finland. Let's shift on to the "where" part

This one's much shorter than the why because it's pretty simple we're gonna move to Helsinki

That was Cat's one and only stipulation for this move because of

course Cat grew up in Finland she's lived in quite a lot of

places around like the southern region but she has never lived in Helsinki and

she's always wanted to. But when she finally came around to the idea of us

moving to Finland and she was like "it has to be Helsinki there's there's no other

place that I'd want to live" so I was just like "Yep, deal. That's a verbal contract - done"

Now of course living in Helsinki can get pretty expensive

We're kind of used to paying more rent than the property actually is probably worth

Oh London, how I will NOT miss you

but we've had a little look around here and

there and we think that we can get for what we're paying here in London a way

nicer apartment in Helsinki. We want to be as close to the city centre as

possible. Of course, the closer you get the more expensive it's gonna be so

we're being like kind of realistic about the whole thing. If we take a look at the

map of Helsinki we kind of want to be in this region so basically within that

circle we can probably find a nicer apartment for the same price as what

we're paying here in London. And be like 10-15 minutes away from actual Helsinki

city centre which is gonna be fabulous. Now that pretty much covers the "where"

and we are keeping a lookout for anything that comes up in that region

but we're obviously very lucky to have thousands of extended family

members in Finland right now so if you guys hear anything that you think might

be suitable for us or if you know something... I don't know maybe you know things

We set up an email address which is move@davecad.co.uk so if

you hear of anything that you think might be suitable for us yeah drop us an

email we'd love to check it out. All right, moving on... "when"

We don't actually have an exact date yet of when we're gonna go and then , yeah, not come back at

At first we're thinking like June with the wedding coming up in July and just kind

of figure out from there but we decided to bump that forward a little bit

towards like the end of April. It's pretty significant because we will

basically be moving out of this apartment exactly three years after we

moved in. So, that's a pretty fitting end to an era date, I guess.

So that us like three months to sort all our crap out here and figure out what I need

to apply for and all that stuff. So, key point is this end of April start of May

we're gonna we're gonna do the do "the thing". Now just a few quick fire topics

on how we're gonna make this move happen. First of all we're gonna sell all of our stuff

basically we're gonna sell all the furniture. We don't see much point in taking

anything with us we're just - again , fresh start, fresh furniture new everything

But really aside from these random cheap crappy furniture pieces I don't actually

own that much stuff. A lot of the stuff that I do own is like camera stuff

computers, the big iMac it's not even mine that's my brother's. So I reckon in

like a couple of suitcases I can take most of my things. We'll probably end

up shipping one or two boxes of books all that kind of crap. Then I guess we've

got to talk about brexit. I don't know if any of you have been following the

brexit thing but as a complete mess at the moment no one knows what's actually

happening so, we're just gonna have to take that as it comes. At least from my

research what I've done so far, right now it's not a problem for me to move there

As soon as we're settled I'll apply for like a residency permit or something

like that, and then we should be all good until brexit makes shit hit the fan and then I'm

I'm out of there. Hopefully it won't come to that but we'll see

But guys it feels so good to finally get this off my chest to be able to tell you

that, yeah, we're moving to Finland finally.

So, I think that covers all the details that

we have so far about this move. If anything comes up I'll be sure to tell ya

If you're interested in finding out (more) details of the move you should

definitely follow my Instagram and Twitter and snapchat especially.

I'll try and keep you in the loop as much as possible. Because like I said this is

your fault that this happened it's nothing to do with me, man.

I think I'm gonna end this video here guys I've been talking now for 50 minutes

No wonder my throat's getting a bit dry. If you stuck around this far into the video

congratulations that's some going, well done. I think you're like the only person

left to be honest. Like I said before if you have any burning questions that you

want to ask about the move or anything to do with this whole situation go ahead

and fire them into the comments I'll either do one big Q&A like about

everything move related or I'll cover them in vlogs here and there so yeah - thanks!

Don't forget if you hear of any like apartments and stuff that you

think might be suitable move@davecad.co.uk

so guys thank you so much

for watching this video and sticking through with this to the end. If you're

psyched to hear this news and if you're excited for us to like start a new

journey please go ahead and click that thumbs up button. That will honestly mean a lot.

And just a quick thank you, guys, for this whole situation coming to pass

like I say, it actually wouldn't happen if you didn't watch my videos right now you

sitting there... hello. The main reason why this move is happening is because you

watch my videos and this is the way my career is headed every time you

watch one of my videos you're contributing to making my dreams come

true so, yeah, thank you very much you're literally changing my life

But with that said ,guys. Once again, thank you so so much for watching and everything, actually

and I'll see you next time

See ya!

11 Things You Didn't Know About GIGI HADID! - Duration: 11:34.

11 Things You Didn't Know about Gigi Hadid

#11 Gigi's Real Name

Although the name "Gigi Hadid" is practically a household name at this point, it's not

the rising model's real name (although it does have a nice, original ring to it).

Her actual name is "Jelena Noura Hadid", however almost all of the world knows her

as Gigi.

When her mother, Yolanda Hadid, was young, her own mother would call her "Gigi" around

the house as a nickname.

This tradition passed on to Gigi, but ended up going a lot farther.

When Gigi entered school, another girl had a similar name – "Helena".

This caused confusion with their teacher when she would call upon each girl, so she asked

Yolanda what nickname Jelena might have.

Yolanda mentioned the name "Gigi", and over a decade later she's still using it.

#10 Brow Game Strong

Eyebrows are one of the most defining elements of any person's face – or at least that's

been all the rave in the past several years.

From thin arches to bushy but elegant brows, the world loves to think of new trends to

incorporate and play around with.

Gigi Hadid, like many other famous models, has a nearly perfect set of eyebrows, however

she differs from the rest in one key element.

Gigi says that she doesn't do anything to her eyebrows – that means no plucking, tweezing,

threading, waxing, micro-blading, or whatever other form of removal and redesign is circling

the Internet.

Instead, Gigi chooses to go all-natural and doesn't even allow others to mess with her

eyebrows.

It works, because her brow game is so strong that she doesn't need to fuss with them

anyway.

#9 Black Leggings

As one of the most prominent names in both the model industry and on social media, the

range of clothing options available to someone so fashionable are virtually endless.

Gigi Hadid only continues to prove that she's one with the rest of the world, because in

addition to being a McDonalds regular and enjoying nothing more than being at home rather

than out and about, Gigi loves black leggings.

Out of all of the clothing options in the world, her favorite is a sturdy pair of black

leggings because of how universally easy they are.

In an E! interview, she confessed that she wears them 75 percent of the time.

With all of the travel she has to endure, the comfy and easy-to-match garment makes

a lot of sense.

#8 Famous Family

Gigi Hadid belongs to one of the most impressive families, runners-up only to the famed Kardashian

clan.

For herself, Gigi is a world-famous model and social media star with a great future

ahead of her, but her relatives are just as remarkable as the 22-year-old.

Gigi is the eldest sibling to younger sister and brother, Bella and Anwar Hadid, who all

come with unique backgrounds.

Bella is a part of the modeling world like her older sister, and the pair have actually

shared gigs and walked the runway together.

Separated only by a year age gap, the two are otherwise inseparable and are incredibly

supportive of one another in their respective careers.

Anwar is a rising model who signed to IMG Models, like his sisters, in 2016 with a major

following of 1.5 million users on the popular social media network, Instagram.

He was also seen on a Teen Vogue cover with fellow Instagram star, Cameron Dallas, for

the June/July edition in 2016.

The trio are all children to Yolanda and Mohamed Hadid, who have their own impressive careers.

Yolanda is a cast member on the reality television series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,

and a personal nutritionist to her eldest daughter.

Previously, she was known for being a model, like her children, and an interior designer.

While Yolanda is no longer married to Gigi's father, Mohamed, he also joins his family's

wealth by being a well-known real estate developer who was hired to design the Ritz Carlton hotels.

In addition to this, through Mohamed, Gigi is related to Sheikh of Galilee and Prince

of Nazareth, Daher Al Omer.

To tie up the famous family is David Foster, recent divorcee to Yolanda and step-father

to Gigi.

He is a music producer and former musician with the pop group "Skylark" who has worked

with massive Hollywood names such as Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.

Out of nearly 50 Grammy nominations, the amazing producer has racked up 16 awards and reportedly

had a net-worth of 100 million at one point.

#7 Athletic Angel

To match her stunning physique and outgoing personality, Gigi Hadid was an athlete for

most of her life.

When she was a child, she was raised in Los Angeles where her family owned a ranch that

housed barns filled with horses.

Because of this, the star became a competitive horseback rider alongside her younger sister,

Bella, who was due to compete in the Olympics for horseback riding but had to drop out due

to chronic Lyme disease.

Gigi continues to entertain the sport from time-to-time as a way to keep her body toned

and ready for the runway, because she didn't earn her Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

wings in December 2016 without a ton of hard work.

Horseback riding also provides fantastic psychological buffers to keep negativity away from the mind

and to overcome feelings of uncertainty, which is especially helpful since Gigi admits that

she suffers a case of the nerves before every runway show.

To keep herself healthy, mentally and physically, she also participates in boxing and was previously

the captain of the varsity volleyball team in high school.

To round out her athleticism, Gigi showed off the toned features all her sporting days

have acquired her in a 2016 issue of Sports Illustrated magazine.

The swimsuit edition saw the young model posing on the beach in the Islands of Tahiti, a massive

difference from on a horse ranch in LA, but also symbolizing the diversity that encompasses

Gigi.

#6 Face of Maybelline

Gigi Hadid is often very minimalistic when it comes to her day-to-day makeup looks.

While she rocks some of the fiercest faces on the runway, she can usually be seen with

nothing more than a bit of eyeshadow, some mascara, and a dab of highlighter.

Despite being a model and social media entrepreneur, Gigi admitted to using drugstore cosmetics

from retailers like CVS to achieve her daily makeup look, so it made sense when she became

the face of Maybelline.

Maybelline, a branch of major cosmetics corporation, L'Oréal, is a famous makeup brand available

at every retailer from Ulta to Walmart.

In 2015, Gigi became an ambassador for the company, and in 2016 it was rumored that the

megabrand and the model were teaming up to create something special together.

On October 13, 2017, Maybelline released "the first wave of #gigixmaybelline Jetsetter palettes"

according to the company's Instagram profile.

With a variety of makeup must-haves, the face of Maybelline truly captured herself in the

multi-product palette and is expected to create even more sets with the brand.

#5 Criminal Psychology Major

Criminal psychology is a branch of learning that covers the concepts of criminal behavior

such as their thoughts, motives, intentions, and general decisions.

People that become criminal psychologists can see why fugitives do the things that they

do and are usually called into courthouses to help provide insight in their area of expertise.

What most people don't know is that, in addition to being a beautiful model, Gigi

Hadid has interest in this field, which was first discussed when she made an appearance

on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a reality television show that her mother stars

on.

Gigi admitted that she isn't necessarily interested in going down the path of becoming

a criminal psychologist, but she does enjoy a good class debate and being in a learning

environment.

In 2013, Gigi enrolled at the New School, a comprisal of several education programs

in New York City, where she has completed courses whenever her hectic modeling schedule

allows it.

This might seem like a surprising choice for someone in the fashion industry, but it just

goes to show that beauty and brains go hand-in-hand.

#4 Singer Serial Dater

At just 22 years old, the term "serial dater" is a bit too hefty for Gigi Hadid's love

life, but when it comes to the relationships she has had, there are no musician shortages.

In 2013, Gigi began dating Australian singer, Cody Simpson.

The two dated on-and-off for two years before permanently parting in 2015 after a highly

publicized relationship and split.

In a 2015 issue of DuJour, Cody explained, "I love my ex-girlfriend, I always will.

It was an amicable, mutual decision, and we still talk every now and then, but the highly

publicized thing made me uncomfortable."

About a month following her split from Cody Simpson, Gigi began hanging out with and was

confirmed to be dating the former Jonas Brothers leading man, Joe Jonas.

The pair had met ten years prior during an awards show when Gigi initially caught Joe's

eye, but their relationship only lasted five short months when it came down to it.

In that time, Joe, who belongs to pop group DNCE, enlisted Gigi's help in directing

their band's music video "Cake by the Ocean", which marks her involvement in every

one of her boyfriend's careers.

Shortly after splitting from Joe Jonas, Gigi Hadid met up with former One Direction star,

Zayn Malik, as he began hitting the top charts with his own, reinvented image following a

rocky split from the boyband.

Despite having a few unsure moments and momentary splits, the pair are still going strong to

this day.

Their relationship is incredibly public, with PDA, music video appearances, and Instagram

posts of their love saga just regular reminders of how cute they are together.

#3 Two-Year-Old Model

At just two years old, Gigi Hadid made her modeling debut.

She was discovered by Paul Marciano, the co-founder of clothing retailer, Guess, who enlisted

her with gigs throughout her childhood.

At some point, a young Gigi decided to put her career on hold so that she could be more

focused on school and having some normalcy in her adolescence.

In 2011, Gigi made her return to the modeling world and continued working with Marciano

and Guess, where she would go on to be the face of a campaign in 2012.

Since her time with the brand, which has expanded upon its original basis of designer jeans

to incorporate many different styles, Gigi has become an outstanding member in the modeling

community.

She has participated with major companies such as Versace, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, and

Tommy Hilfiger, for whom she became a brand ambassador for in January 2016.

#2 Prank Gone Wrong

Gigi Hadid was a large topic of controversy and awe in 2016 when she was targeted by celebrity-focused

"prankster", Vitalii Sediuk.

Vitalii is a reporter who takes things to the next level, and often too far, by assaulting

famous people during public events and press conferences.

Because of his work with the Ukrainian TV Channel in the past, he's been able to gain

backstage access to many popular affairs.

When Gigi was exiting a fashion show in Milan, Vitalii managed to sneak behind her and lift

her up above the crowd.

She began screaming and elbowed him in the face until he put her down, to the point of

where she chased him down the street yelling profanities – actions that sparked interest

and debates throughout the world.

After Vitalii confirmed that it was in fact him in the incident, he went on to explain

that the reason behind doing it in the first place was to convince the fashion industry

to stop allowing "well-connected cute girls from Instagram" to walk the runway.

He added, "While I consider Gigi Hadid beautiful, she and her friend Kendall Jenner have nothing

to do with high fashion."

Clearly, Vitalii, who was since banned from the United States after similarly attacking

many other celebrities including Brad Pitt and Kim Kardashian, had no clue how successful

Gigi's talents could make her.

#1 Hadid Jenner

Kendall Jenner is one of the top rising models in the fashion industry.

With roots on social media and even within her famous family, it makes sense that Kendall

and Gigi aren't just fellow models – they're also best friends.

Although this is a well-known fact to anyone who isn't living under a rock, what people

might not know is that the Jenner and Hadid families' ties go deeper than most realize.

Until recently, Gigi's mother, Yolanda, was married to music producer, David Foster.

David had been married to Linda Thompson before this, and Linda was Bruce Jenner's first

wife.

Bruce, who now goes by Caitlyn Jenner after she introduced herself as a trans woman in

2015, is the biological parent to Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Before this dynamic duo arrived, Caitlyn fathered Brandon and Brody Jenner with Linda Thompson,

who were then the stepchildren to David Foster.

If that's too confusing, the "too long, didn't read" is that Kendall's half-brother's

stepfather was also the stepfather to Gigi.

It's still pretty confusing, but to sum it up, Gigi and Kendall are as close as sisters,

and they even created their own hashtag mashing their names together to prove it: #Kengi.

How Do We Know If We Aren't Putting Enough Effort In Outside The Bedroom?: Clip from Podcast 230 - Duration: 3:01.

How do we know if we're putting enough effort in our marriage?

What are some of the warning signs that this may be an issue for us?

This may be the big reason that our sex life isn't great. That we're not putting effort than we should.

Hopefully, you have a relationship with your spouse where you can ask them:

"We're not feeling this close. What do we need to do different?

What am I not doing now that I used to do for you?"

Some of these things we just forget. It's amazing things were at work and we were doing it consistently,

and all of the sudden we're upset and we don't do it. And we think, "What did I use to do?"

So, it's okay to talk about it; certainly, to pray about it:

"God help me to be the husband that you want me to be today for my spouse."

"Help me be the wife that you want me to do."

But I think the way you know is because if you stop and look and think,

Are we as connected as we were six months ago?

And how often were we having sex, really good sex, together a year ago?

And how often do we have that today?

So, really stopping and looking at it, most couples who slipped up on–

the things you're doing that are distracting are probably not bad.

Playing with your kids games, taking them places, doing some family activities. Those are great things.

Like you said, the foundational thing is the marriage relationship. That's the way God designed it.

Someday, your kids are gonna be gone. And if you haven't continued to nurture that foundation,

it's like when will you may leave too?

Yeah, which just happens all the time, unfortunately. Absolutely, I agree.

I think for Dylan and I, there's a lot of warning signs that pop up when this is an issue.

They might be similar in other relationships.

So if you don't know what's going on in your spouse's life, it's that all the time, like you're not as connected,

If you hear them telling a story, "Wait I haven't heard that before! I didn't know that happened to you."

If they're telling your friend and you didn't know about it, that might be a sign.

I know that's a big sign for Dylan and I.

If you don't touch each other than sex, that's probably a sign.

If you don't regularly touch each other whether it's holding hands or greeting them.

Or just touching, being close to one another, enough to touch.

That shouldn't just happen in the bedroom. So especially for women, we need that.

Yeah, absolutely!

If you don't make eye contact regularly, I know that sounds so silly and clinical.

But, we talked about it a lot on the Awesome Marriage podcast.

It's just so important, when you're talking to your spouse, stopping what you're doing,

making eye contact, because it connects us.

It's just like research has proven, and so make it an effort.

And then talking to each other daily. I think is just so important.

So if you're not doing that. If you're not making time, just talk

even if it's just for 15 minutes a day to catch up on each other's day.

I think that's really important.

You Can't Just Google - Duration: 3:41.

I-

got my paper on social media back.

Yeah?

And?

Bombed it!

Badly.

I mean how is that possible?

I Googled "Social Media,"

I found all these awesome websites to quote from, I even cited them.

Well, you can't just use Google.

Did you try searching in the library's databases?

Wait, what databases?

Our library has databases? I didn't-

This is news to me. How did you find out about them?

They're on the library's website.

It's also on that guide they told us about in class.

There's a ton of good information and helpful things about searching the databases on there.

So what? So I shouldn't use Google at all?

Just the databases?

Googling is great for some things and everyone does it but it's not so great for college assignments.

Okay, but-

Why?

College is about preparing us to be respected professionals.

If you just Google, then you're missing out on over half of the information available.

Yeah, but-

It's Google!

Google only searches the tip of the iceberg

and sometimes it doesn't even do that very well.

Google is basically a popularity contest, not a judge of what's useful.

Anyway, our assignment sheet did say we needed to use scholarly sources and credible information

But what are scholarly sources?

How can I tell if something's credible,

Isn't everything on the internet credible?

No, not everything!

Scholarly sources are written by experts in their field and the articles have been peer reviewed.

Reviewers make recommendations regarding the information and sometimes even reject the articles if the research wasn't done correctly.

Also, credible information should be current,

you should be able to verify the author as an expert in their field,

and you should be able to locate where the author got their information.

Okay, well nobody told me about all that.

And what, you can't find those on Google?

Remember, Google is popularity contest.

Let's do a search on "Social Media."

[typing]

[Man]: Well, hold up. Wha- what's with this site?

Wikipedia has references,

and it's updated frequently.

Didn't you just say that credible information should be current and provide references?

You might read stuff on Wikipedia to give you an idea of the topic, but you shouldn't use it to support your arguments.

Anyone can put anything on the Internet.

[Woman]: You should always be able to search for the author of an article and see who they work for,

if they are affiliated with a school or organization, and their educational background.

It's a good way to determine if they're knowledgeable in their field.

Wikipedia doesn't list the authors of its articles, so there's no way of knowing who wrote it.

I mean-

I guess that makes sense.

So, do you ever use Google?

Sure, I use Google but I don't just Google it.

I might use it to see what people are saying about my topic

but I use Google along with my database searches to make sure I have the best sources for my assignment.

[Woman]: The databases are full of information you can't find on Google.

Plus it's way easier to find credible sources in a database.

Hmm,

Okay.

At least now I know what to do for the next assignment.

If you need help, just ask the librarians at Columbus State.

That's what they're there for.

"You can't be creative & business-oriented at the same time" ǀ Talk @YouTube NYC ǀ Justine Leconte - Duration: 7:14.

Hi everyone, it's Justine. when I was in New York last month I spoke in front of an

audience of creative people from many different countries, who make

videos on YouTube as well. and some of them even run very successful creative and/or

online businesses at the same time. I was free to pick my topic so I talked about

something that has been on my mind for quite some time.

you might remember or know already that I initially studied business and worked in

business and now I switched to fashion: studied fashion, now work in fashion. back

then people said I couldn't be a good "creative", whatever that means, because...

you know... I was a "business person". today, people say that I'm only creative so I

supposedly can't be interested or knowledgeable

in any other field.

I frankly, wholeheartedly disagree with that kind

of silo thinking. I think that all fields are in fact linked, related. so when I

said that to an audience of people who built businesses out of their creative

heads, they virtually all agreed with me, because they've been there themselves.

but I thought I would share that video, that talk with you guys as well and I

look very much forward to your thoughts and to an open discussion, I guess. here

is the recorded talk.

Hi!

they say "you can't be creative and business-oriented

at the same time"... my name is Justine. I'm a fashion designer and an entrepreneur.

so people ask me: "oh wow... so did you study fashion or business?"

"well, I started with business and then I went back to school and studied fashion".

"okay but... what do you

want to focus on, long term?" "I like both..."

"okay but like... you can't be good at both

things, you have to prefer one thing".

there are 2 types of people I have had

this conversation with: (1) people who knew me as a business person

before, who put me in the business box I don't want to let me switch boxes ever

again. and then (2) the people who think that business and creativity exclude each

other because creativity is that abstract myth, the artist that turns a white canvas

into Mona Lisa... hmm sometimes those 2 types of people can even overlap.

who decided that one person can do only one thing and when was that??

Leonardo da Vinci (example)

was an engineer, an inventor but also a painter and a writer, etc. at that time,

educated people were good in everything, right? so I understand that today there

is too much wisdom about each field for one person to be able to know everything

about everything. but it's not about what you know, it's about the way you think.

point 1: the less you know about a topic, the more creative your ideas will be.

friends of mine asked their little daughter (three years old, not even 3):

was the chicken or the egg here first? she thought about it and replied: well, the

Easter Bunny was first! and frankly it's the smartest answer I've heard. it's absolute

rational thinking, based on what she knows about the world.

point 2:

creative ideas are the result of structured, rational thinking. the most creative

people in the so creative advertising industry use very uncreative tools to

come up with new ideas. Zwicky was an astronomer, a scientist.

he invented a method that those guys use all the time. and he was not a "creative

person", officially. it's this one here: general morphological analysis. when you

have one big issue, you break it down into small pieces and then you play all

possible combinations of those pieces through, until you get not just a good idea but

the best one, the perfect practical, most efficient solution... for a given objective,

right? so in advertising, a good "creative person" is so business-oriented

because their goal is to bring across a message and sell a product.

so this method, which is using creative skills but is not creative at all,

actually works in every single field, I think. I could use it to design a shoe,

for instance. so what makes a shoe? let's break it down: you have a part that

covers the foot, more or less. here it's a sandal. then you have a heel, more or less

high, right? the heel is positioned somewhere under the foot. and then you

have one element that connects and holds the shoe close to the foot, somehow, right?

this shoe looks very original and creative but it doesn't work, why?

point 3: creativity works best under constraints. so here in this case, we're

missing the constraint: the heel of the foot has to be at the level of the toes,

or higher, otherwise you can't walk... so let's solve the heel issue: there you go. now the shoe

works. it still looks creative and original so

my point is here: creativity alone is not enough. you need to add some logics to it.

point 4: being creative is actually a matter of training. artists and designers

who are very successful over a long period of time create non-stop. they have new

ideas all day and all night. they see and observe the world around them, they feel,

analyze, think about what it means and where it's going. they practice that way of

seeing the world all the time. so you can do the same and practice that too.

for example, for a day, try to think and see the world as a child... it's a fun one to do, once a week.

or for one day, take a picture of every object or color that you see and like. at the

end, print out those pictures and build a mood board out of them. little exercises like

that are part of daily research, of routine work when your job

is to create new things. so in the end, pure creativity, the artist in front of

a white canvas doesn't really exist. without practicality without some logics,

without at least purpose, I think it's useless. so when people say you can't be

creative and business oriented or pragmatic or rational at the same time,

I think you cannot not be both at the same time! thank you!

What Happened to Removable Batteries in Smartphones? - Duration: 5:23.

[[ Like Comment Share Subscribe ]]

Hey guys, it's me Rahul, and today I would like start this video with a question, When was

the last time you used or even saw a smartphone with removable battery ?

I assume the answer is "a Long time ago", because I can't remember the last time I

have used one.

Which got me wondering "what happened to removable battery smartphones?

. Why.. all flagship devices these days has non removable battery even though a lot of

users prefer the option of having the ability to swap out batteries.

The only phones which still has removable batteries are budget phones and feature phones,

which somewhat indicates that normal users actually prefer removable battery so they

can swap out when they need and replace the battery with ease

Another factor which comes into play when we talk about the advantages and disadvantages

of removable batteries is "safety", users actually feel more safe using a phone with

removable battery, and the option to swap out to a new one when need is a really compelling

feature for a normal user .Even with all these demands for removable battery smartphones,

why major smartphone manufacturers aren't making them anymore, let's find out.

Let's start with most obvious reason behind this shift, Apple.

Apple is the biggest tech giant in the world and they can influence a lot of what is going

on in the tech space.

If you take a look at apple's history of iPhones, not even the first iphone has a removable

battery.

Iphone's have always been and will be a monolithic device with built in battery. Why

are they doing it from the start ? there are a couple of reasons,

What i think is the main reason behind this way of designing is something called "abstraction

" in tech abstraction means hiding certain details from the user in order to provide

security and convenience.

Apple have always been known for these things, that is why they are so successful as a company.

Selling an iphone as a single unit makes a lot of sense, the customers who are buying

these phones don't have to worry about the battery inside it.

But like anything there is another reason as well, profit .

Let's consider an example, imagine you have a phone which has a removable battery, and

for some reason , you are having problems with the battery, what will you do? You goto

a nearby mobile shop and buy a new battery right?, but consider this same situation

and this time you cannot replace the battery by yourself because it is builtin.

If you want to get the problem fixed you need to goto an official store and get it fixed,

which will cost twice as much, and what most people will do in this scenario is, they will

buy a new phone,.

This is a very shady business strategy that some companies do.By making everything built

in and inaccessible to normal user, these companies control what you can and can't do

with your own phone and will make you buy a new one by setting the repair fee very close

to half the price of a new phone.

I don't hate apple, I love their products , iphones are truly incredible devices, but

because of their decision of going with a built in battery from the start influenced

all the other manufacturers to do the same.

I don't entirely believe other manufactures copied apple just because they thought that

it will sell more devices,

There are few other reasons as well.

No1 is unibody design.

it basically means that you cannot open up or remove the battery.

some of the pros of unibody design is that internal parts of your phone will have more

protection compared to other designs and your device will be somewhat water resistant, and

it also allows manufacturers to reduce the footprint and thickness of a device which

will in-turn make the device feel more premium (by using glass and metal) and easy to handle.

The 2nd reason is "battery design".When I say the term "phone battery " this might

be the image that comes to your mind.

That is all gonna change in few years,

By making the batteries built in to the board of the phone, manufacturers have the freedom

to change the design of the cell, they no longer have to follow the traditional design,

they can design batteries in such a way that it takes full advantage of the empty spaces

inside a phone's chassis, like on the 12-inch macbook pro.

This is a great advantage of non removable batteries, it gives freedom to manufacturer

to make batteries that are more efficient ,reliable and with a bigger capacity without

making the phone bulky.

Reason no 3 "power banks", the wide use and availability of power banks literally

killed the removable battery design, it made removable batteries pointless.

There is no reason to carry an extra battery when you can carry a power bank which can

maybe charge your device twice., and these battery bank cases that are so popular nowadays

made it so easy to carry a power-bank with you wherever you go.

And with all these merits I don't think removable battery is ever gonna come back

. And i'm glad that we have moved on to a much better design.

Five Ways to Tune Into Your Intuition - Duration: 4:59.

Five Ways to Tune Into Your Intuition

Your intuition, commonly known as your gut feeling or inner guide, is an instinct of

knowing something to be true or false without any supportive evidence.

In other words, you just know.

Scientists believe intuition to be a key component of a human's operating system.

A scientific study looked at intuition and people's ability to predict what would happen.

They asked study participants to predict whether an image would be behind curtain #1 or #2

on a computer screen.

They were surprised to learn through physiological responses that the subjects were able to predict

the correct curtain seconds before the computer placed the image.

Many of the great philosophers consider intuition a major part of our thought process and our

connection to our sub-conscious mind.

It is the best source for tapping into our creativity and wisdom.

When we trust our intuition, it can have a great impact on our lives, allowing us to

tap into our full potential…

Here are 5 ways to tune into your intuition:

1 - Trust Your Gut Instincts

You know the feeling you get when something isn't quite right yet logic says do it anyway?

Well, that is your gut warning you.

Chances are you have gone against your gut a time or two and wished you had trusted your

gut.

Trusting your intuition can be scary especially when all the logical evidence says something

to the contrary.

When something doesn't feel quite right, it probably isn't.

Make a commitment to trust your gut.

The only way to learn to trust it is to take that first step.

When you realize it didn't let you down, you will be more willing to trust it in the

future.

2 - Learn to Listen

Listening to your intuition in a noisy world can be a challenge.

When you are struggling to make a decision, you have the perfect opportunity to consult

your greatest teacher, your inner guide.

To do that though, you have to learn to listen to it.

It's important to quiet the noise around you and focus on how you feel about the question

at hand.

Let go of the desire to analyze, compare and scrutinize the issue.

Just listen and tap into your feelings.

When you are actively listening to your intuition, the answer will become clear.

3 - Pay Attention

So much of our day is made up of habitual behaviors.

Behaviors that require little to no thought.

If we are moving through our day using habits, then we are not allowing ourselves to tap

into our intuition.

An important part of developing our intuition is paying attention to what is happening around

us.

Our intuition uses information our conscious mind gathers through interaction and experiences.

The more information our conscious mind gathers, the more insightful our intuition becomes.

4 - Remember Your Dreams

Our subconscious mind talks to us not only through gut feelings but also through our

dreams.

Once you begin to pay attention to your dreams, you will gain very valuable insight into your

life.

Dream recall can be hard, but it will become easier when you train your brain to reflect

on them first thing in the morning.

You can use your dreams to help put your intuitive guide to work.

Before you go to sleep, consider the challenges that are still unsolved.

Spend a few minutes thinking about possible solutions.

This will help trigger your inner guide to continue working while you are sleeping.

Have a journal next to your bed, so when you awaken in the morning you can write down your

first thoughts and journal about the dreams you had.

You might be surprised to find some creative solutions coming to you through your dreams.

5 - Meditate

There is no greater way to tap into your inner guide than through meditation.

Mediation can be a scary word to people that don't meditate, but there isn't anything

to be afraid of.

Meditation is all about quieting the outside noise and excessive mental chatter so the

important messages can come through.

Start by just focusing on your breath for a minute or two.

There is no success or failure in meditation; it simply is what it is.

The key here is to become focused on allowing your intuition to speak to you.

Start by asking for inner guidance around a challenge or issue you are having.

Sit still and focus your mind to allow you to tap into the wisdom of your intuition.

When you ask a specific question, and you are ready to receive and answer, your intuition

will make your options clear.

Developing and trusting your intuition is a skill.

Start small and continue to practice it to build your intuitive muscles.

The more you choose to listen and act upon your inner guide, the better at it you will

become.

All in all, that's the 5 Ways to Tune Into Your Intuition.

Really cool information isn't it!

He Pours White Vinegar Inside His Toilet Tank... The Reason Why? Genius! - Duration: 2:31.

Are you tired of using harsh, toxic chemicals when you clean?

Do you have to be careful when you clean the bathroom with bleach?

It's problematic because it could also permanently bleach your clothes or rugs.

Not only that, but you also run the risk of becoming asphyxiated.

What if I told you that you could cut down on the number of times you had to clean that

nasty toilet?

And, what if I told you that you could still get the bowl sparkling clean and free from

bacteria?

You don't have to worry about bleach spots or asphyxiation.

It's possible with only one household product that's been used in cleaning for centuries

— vinegar.

Using white vinegar once for a thorough cleaning and following up with consistent use of the

same product in the tank, could significantly cut down on the time you spend cleaning.

It would also eliminate some of the worries you might have with using bleach and other

harsh industrial chemicals.

And, yes, it does kill bacteria.

Studies have proven that the acid in vinegar kills bacteria, by breaking down the outer

membrane and releasing protons that cause the cell's death.

White vinegar is safe for the environment too.

All you need is one liter of white vinegar, an empty spray bottle, and a few other common

cleaning items.

To get started, pour half of the liter of white vinegar in the toilet tank.

Next, fill up the empty spray bottle with some vinegar.

Start the cleaning process by cleaning the outside of the toilet with the vinegar in

the spray bottle.

Next take some toilet paper and wet it with the vinegar.

Wad the toilet paper into small balls and place them under the rim of the toilet.

Leave them there for a few minutes.

Now, pour some of the vinegar into the bowl and scrub it with a toilet brush.

Scrub the under side of the rim with the toilet brush.

Make sure that you scrub the places where you placed wadded up balls of toilet paper.

Finally, flush the toilet.

The initial cleaning is done.

If you add vinegar to the tank every few days, it will keep it cleaner longer.

Try it out, and take the bleach out of your bathroom without sacrificing any cleanliness.
