Hi, how are you? How are you?
My name is Luana Caldin. I am a Podiatrist and I am a SENAC graduate.
Before our video today ... it is very important that you leave the LIKE of yours.
Sign up for our Channel. And to receive the notifications.
Click on the bell.
Every time we post a video ... and every time I post a video, you're getting the notification.
And now yes .. Let's go to our video today.
In this case, what happened?
This person had a trauma in the bed of the nail plate.
What happened?
She had a fungus .. and in this fungus she was ... she was in other specialists ...
Dermatologist and other Podiatrists ...
And she did the treatment .. the fungus she managed to eliminate ..
Just sanding the blade and nudging down ...
What happened? There was a trauma.
The nail does not glue any more ..
Due to this trauma ... this tip is detached.
And they can see that it has a bulge
A better pickled meat ... in this fold ...
In this bed of this nail.
Which was due to these traumas.
Here we are going to cut ... this slippery blade.
It's already the second time she's come to the clinic ... that we're doing this treatment.
Then we cut all this slippery blade.
Let's clean this callus ..
That exists due to this trauma ..
Removing excess dead skin and this callousness.
Which got due to poking, over tinkering.
How she did this cleaning and nudged .. used to pinch .. the famous little stick.
And it stirred and nudged ... then formed this callousness.
That is a protection of the organism. Only this protection now, blocks the growth of the nail .. cast.
Growing it grows, only on this uncrowded end.
So you can see a lot of skin coming out ... a lot of fibrosis.
Which he acquired because of many traumas.
And she started to get stuck.
Entering the Scalpel to remove the spicule from this side ... look at the size.
It is not so big that neither the others ..
From other videos .. that we post.
But it was already bothering him.
Of the two sides.
She started to get stuck .. Why? Do you see that her nail is very sharp and well arched?
So this .. this accentuation of it ... made the nail enter the flesh and ingrown.
Then there doing this removal .. the removal of this spicula.
Doing the cleansing of Onicofose .. which is the excess skin ... that are on the side of the blade.
And thinning this callousness.
I went in with her too .. with the clay treatment.
Then you ask >>> Is the clay not for ringworm treatment?
Not only treatment of ringworm, as the purpose of doing the reconstruction of the skin.
They are differentiated essential oils ..
In case of it is an oil that will renew this skin ....
Then she will rebuild the skin ... to be making this lamina paste again.
Now she is enjoying the treatment .. because she saw the result ..
How is aggression ... Normally everything that is aggression, in the organism ... on the skin or the nail.
Scarring or treatment will be delayed.
Doing the cleaning there .. can see that there was a lot of skin .. it has nail and has skin ...
All the cleaning we're doing.
To try to recover this sheet more and more.
In it I'm also using SOS Nail's.
That is the company I am trying the products ..
This result giving .. this product will leave the for more ... how do you say?
With more emoliencia ... it will be more hydrated.
So letting this blade grow without that blockage ..
Doing the slab thinning there
As it grows and has this skin and skin under the blade.
Then she gets upset.
And it hurts more and more .. as she will wear a pair of shoes she tightens.
As it tightens it hurts.
So I'm going to make her smaller.
Dry well .. this has to do .. why? Otherwise the fungus may come back.
Doing there ... all the cleaning ....
Doing the finishing and remembering that the pliers is my choice.
Because it gives a better finish .. removing these skins that are upright.
And I'm going to get in with the SOS Nail's Product.
That will leave the skin more hydrated, for the treatment .. it has the restorer.
Then it will restore this skin .. for the nail to grow and paste again.
Getting cute again.
So we remember that: Who likes to poke the nail ..
With the Famous Stick .. remember that you can traumatize the bed of your sheets.
Fine? And it can cause fungi.
Because as it will be injured the fungus can enter and settle.
This was my tip today.
A kiss for you and for the next video.
Goodbye!

Handstand Series - Episódio 6 - Pino na Parede (English Subtitles) - Duration: 2:30.
To start, we are going to show some exercises that you can use
for your Handstand workouts
From now on, the videos will be based on exercises more similar to the final handstand
so, don't forget to watch the previous videos, to prevent injuries
To start, we have the Wall Climb Handstand
that you probably already know
but it is very important to strenghten your Handstand position
Here, we want to maintain our abs, glutes and shoulders activated throughout the whole movement
to maintain the proper body allignment
For this exercise, you should perform less repetitions, for more sets, to maintain proper form
So, you can perform for example 3 repetitions, and repeat 5 times
Next, we also have an important exercise, for a more advanced level
that helps improving the position
For this, you should be facing the wall, maintaining some distance from it
and then, take off one foot at the time from the wall, alternately
We want with this movement to improve our control in the handstand position
The third exercise, that helps improving our balance
But this time, we want to shift our weight from one hand to the other
To get more familiar with the imbalances
and to work on them, so that we can avoid or control them during the handstand
For this exercise, we want to shift our weight to one side, by putting the other hand's fingers on the floor
and then, repeat the same movement for the opposite side
always maintaining one of the palms completely on the floor
With this, we will be strenghtening not only our shoulders
But also our straight arm position
As we already shown on previous videos, here we have the Handstand shrugs
but this time, on a more advanced level
One more time, facing the wall, we go to the handstand position
and then we want to elevate our shoulders, bringing them close to our ears
Perform some repetitions, but the main concern should be the form
For example, 3 repetitions, for 5 sets
To end our wall workout, we have one last exercise to spend our remaining energy
That will be simply maintaining the Handstand position against the wall
with our chest facing the wall
If you feel confortable, you can repeat the exercise for 2 times

Riyad Mahrez to Arsenal: Odds slashed on Leicester star completing move by Wednesday ●News Now ●#AFC - Duration: 2:07.
Leicester star Riyad Mahrez could be heading to Arsenal,
the bookies say.
The Algeria international has been heavily linked with a Leicester exit in recent months.
Mahrez, 26, has been tipped to join Arsenal or Liverpool, with the winger desperate to
play in the Champions League again.
And the bookies have slashed the odds on Mahrez heading to the Emirates before the transfer
window shuts on Wednesday.
Coral have cut the odds from 5-1 into 7-2 after taking a flurry of bets in the last
couple of hours.
Liverpool are second favourites to land Mahrez, with the Reds priced at 6-1 to sign the Algeria
star.
"Arsenal have now emerged as the new favourites to sign Riyad Mahrez before the end of this
month
as punters feel as though he will be heading to North London rather than Merseyside,"
said Coral's John Hill.
Chelsea and Tottenham are also in the running to land the Leicester talisman, while Manchester
United are 25-1 to sign Mahrez.
Sky Sports pundit Ray Parlour claimed this week that Mahrez should consider a move to
Chelsea this month.
"I am surprised (he's still there)," he told The Debate
"Because he's been superb, he really has.
"I know my old side was mentioned, Arsenal, but that's the sort of side he's got to
look at now, he's got to look at the top six.
"I'm sure he'd improve quite a few, someone like Chelsea, who knows."

Who was CHARLES DARWIN? | Singularity - Duration: 5:12.
cosmologists all right? here who speaks is the Vini of the channel Singularity
And this is the first video of a new series that we'll be doing here on the channel
Call: All about
Each episode will be about a scientist (we've already done about Carl Sagan)
We will do a biography about them, in this first pilot episode will be...
The famous naturalist Charles Darwin, then comment on what you think of this picture '' All About ''
So bora pro video
[Introduction]
Singularity '' Helping to disseminate science in Brazil ''
Charles Darwin, the man whose ideas changed our interpretation of the emergence of life
(Introduction Charles Darwin
Okay, enough of the curling certainly you know
The famous naturalist Charles Robert Darwin born February 12, 1809
And deceased on April 19, 1882, Charles was always fascinated by living creatures
son of doctor and grandson of poet, physician and philosopher
Charles was always intelligent and clever during his childhood, always trying to understand everything he was taught
Charles liked natural history, made the stone collection
shells, coins, plants, wild flowers and bird eggs
Following Charles's family custom, his father would like him to be a doctor as well.
But he chose the branch of naturalist
But, he ended up taking a year of medicine
In the famous university of Cambridge
But while he was in college, he eventually realized that he liked living things more
And to study its chronology within the planet Earth
After dropping out of medical school in Cambridge, he earned a bachelor of arts degree
with the intention of becoming religious pastor
In Cambridge he participated in several lectures and scientific communiqués
At these meetings he ended up getting close to several speakers, scientists and researchers
Charles during his stay in Cambridge
He met Professor John Stevens Henslow English cleric, geologist and botanist
Which invited Charles to a naturalist expedition without remuneration on board
From the bergantin, the famous Beagle
During the Beagle vessel they collected several specimens
In some countries and islands of South America
Including Brazil and the Galapagos Islands
Where he found several probable surviving animals from the prehistoric era
All the material collected was taken to Professor Henslow in England
After five years of much expedition and several places visited
Charles Darwin returns to England with fame as geologist and naturalist
January 29, 1889
Charles married his cousin Emma Darwin and had ten children of whom three
died prematurely
Post years of data, research and deductions
He concluded the real sense that all species exist
He discovered the theory of evolution, it works as follows.
Living beings end up suffering many mutations during their lives
Thus causing good and bad, and these good and bad are selected so survival in the environment
So for example if you were near bears
Which has a white surrounding environment and which are white
And with other variations of brown bears, probably bears that are white...
would survive by similarity to their environment
And probably the brown ones would be easier to be hunted and identified
But the theory of evolution is just one more with others and very well proven
Gabriel Rios is a great naturalist of Brazilian origin
He produced this great text that you saw now
So if you are thanking us, I liked this video
Thank him, but considering we did most of the work
So I can thank us, but kidding.
Thanks Rivers for everything and have it together
And this was another video of the channel uniqueness

12 Things You Missed in The Ritual | Official Trailer [HD] - Duration: 5:07.
I'm gonna get behind the mythological references made in this trailer in a second, but as a
fair disclaimer, I haven't read the book, so if you have read it, or if you got to see
the film in theaters already, let me know if I was on point at all in the comments.
First I want to point out the setting.
Based off of this billboard, they're in Northern Sweden.
If you pause on this shot of the map you can see that they're cutting through Sareks Nationalpark,
so let's investigate that area.
It was first inhabited by a group of hunter-gatherers known as the Sami, who used these mountains
as places of worship.
One of the mountains was known as Mount Apar and it was believed to house demons and the
ghost of an illegitimate child.
Remember that, because I'm gonna come back to it.
But with that being said, let's approach the rest of the trailer with Norse mythology and
Pagan culture in mind.
At the beginning of the trailer, the characters put together a little ritual of their own
for their deceased friend, Rob.
In Nordic culture, they had a number of places of worship in nature and their holy spaces
were often marked with some kind of landmark.
It could be anything from the base of a mountain to an entire valley to a notable pile of rocks
as we see here.
Sacrifice rituals were a huge part of this culture, especially in relation to births,
marriages and death.
And these rituals often involved the sacrifice of food and drink and the consumption of alcohol.
It's possible that the ritual mentioned in the title of the movie is this ritual; that
these four characters attempting to honor their friend have actually awoken some malevolent
spirit from Norse mythology.
In fact, the people who settled on this land believed in the ability to influence the living
from the land of the dead.
If the rituals were performed correctly they could give their blessings and stuff, but
if done incorrectly, it was believed that dead could haunt the living and bring bad
fortune.
I'd say both of those things are going on in this trailer.
Before I move on, let me emphasize one thing.
I want you to imagine a Nordic celebration in your head.
You're probably imagining a bunch of burly dudes in viking helmets dancing around in
a circle with big frosty beer mugs in hand.
That may be a stereotype, but in reality the consumption of alcohol was instrumental in
these rituals.
This one character does appear to have a drinking problem, but perhaps the constant appearance
of these shelves of alcohol in dreams and hallucinations is actually a sign of something
more.
If you go frame by frame, this is all over the trailer.
That brings us to the first strange thing they come across, which is this cow that is
hanged in the tree and gutted.
Sacrifice rituals known as blót were a huge part of the traditions practiced in Northern
Sweden before the common era.
They would actually hold festivals in which male animals corpses were hung in trees as
a sacrifice to their deities.
That included both wild animals found in the area, and men.
It's quite possible that our main characters have unknowingly walked into a ritual to honor
those Pagan Gods.
There's more evidence to back this up.
This guy they stumble upon seems to be praying to some kind of altar.
These markings seen on the trees match up with the ones on the pole in this shrine,
where we again see a praying figure.
The idol pictured here has goat-like horns and stands up on two legs in a humanoid pose.
Similarly, the cow the they found hanging in the tree was oriented in a way that that
made it appear to be standing on two legs as well.
This is most likely a reference to Fylgja, a mythological Norse spirit that can take
the form of ox, goat and boar, among other animals and is said to mark the transformation
between human and animal.
Fylgja are said to appear during sleep and seeing one is an omen of death.
It would appear that death is indeed in some of these characters' futures just based off
of this trailer.
There are also flashes of that praying figure cut into the trailer elsewhere, but upside
down.
That could possibly play into the whole hanging motif, but we'll have to wait and see.
The creepiest part of the trailer for me was this hand that one of the characters sees
wrapped around a tree in the forest.
If you take a closer look these are pretty thin trees and the hand is actually very small.
Remember how I mentioned that the area was thought to house demons and the ghost of an
illegitimate child?
I think this could be that child.
And one last thing, it seems like they find shelter at some point, and on the shelf right
here, I spotted this hammer that resembles Thor's Hammer, which is regarded as the most
important symbol in all of Norse Mythology.
Not only was it a weapon used to defend the domain of the Gods, but it was also used in
formal declaration ceremonies to bless marriages, births, and funerals, just like the sacrifice
rituals I mentioned earlier.
There's also an excellent song by Equilibrium called Wingthor's Hammer, and on that note,
you'll have to take some of my deductions in this video with a grain of salt, seeing
as how most of what I know about this culture was learned from listening folk metal bands
like Equilibrium and Finntroll, but let me know if this stuff made sense to you.
A lot of people are saying this is just another Blair Witch type movie, but I'm hoping it
will make use of the extensive lineup of Nordic mythological creatures, because some of them
are pretty cool.
If that's something you want to see, let me know by leaving this video a like.
And if you're new here, I'm going to be covering all the best horror films of 2018, as well
as making my own.
So if that's something you want to see, subscribe to CZsWorld for new horrors every week, hammer
that deathbell for notifications and I'll see you in the next one.
Assuming we both survive.

Top 10 Freaky Things That Only Exist In Japan - Duration: 7:48.
Hello!
Welcome back to Most Amazing Top 10, I am your Most Amazing Host, Rebecca Felgate and
today we are talking about the Top 10 Freaky Things that Exist Only In Japan.
Before we get into this video, I just want to remind you that if you aren't yet subscribed
to Most Amazing Top 10, you should go for it right now!
If you are subscribed, then turn on that big, beautiful notification bell!
Okay, back to Japan!
I am all about the weird and wonderful, and Japan is filled with it!
What crazy things can there that pretty much don't exist elsewhere?
10 - Horsemeat Flavour Ice Cream Riiiight.
Japan gives zero efss about the Horsemeat scandal, the Japanese are not above eating
horse.
In fact, they embrace tasty horse so much that they have even turned horsemeat into
an ice cream flavour.
I am not sure about meat ice cream flavours as a whole… it's pretty off putting to
me, but horsemeat…ergh.
Each to their own though.
No judgement!
9 - Toilet Slippers So, these are slippers that are solely worn
in the toilet.
The Japanese culture is pretty different to western culture in many ways, including shoe
etiquette.
In Japanese homes, outdoor shoes are left in a special transitionary room, and indoor
slippers are worn, however the indoor slippers are different to the toilet slippers.
These are left out in homes, and household dwellers and guests alike are supposed to
wear them when entering the lav.
If you forget to take them off and walk around a Japanese home in toilet slippers, you will
be mercilessly mocked.
8 - Expensive, Funky Shaped Melons Ohhhh haaaai there 27 thousand dollar melon!
It had better be delicious!
Speciality fruit is hella expensive in Japan, with some fruits considered luxury items.
Fruit farmers in Japan spend many laborious hours cultivating fruits for consumption.
They aim to make crazy things like square watermelons or aesthetically totally perfect
pieces of fruit.
This strawberry is the size of a tennis ball and costs over 4 thousand dollars.
This bunch of bright red ruby grapes sells for 800 bucks a bunch, but in 2016, a pair
of premium Hokkaido Cantaloupe's sold for 27 thousand 240 dollars.
That is insane.
I personally tend to by the misshapen fruit in the grocery store because I feel sorry
for it.
Still delicious, just much cheaper!
7 - Baby Mop Like, fair, I guess.
If honey is going to be crawling around the floor anyway, they may as well make themselves
useful, although a few people are up in arms about it.
Also….the commercial is genius.
6 - Arguably, this hare-brained Japanese invention creates as many problems as it solves….we
have an Armpit fan Thanko's electric armpit clip on cooler
fan is a fan you clip on your shirt sleeves to cool your underarms on a hot day.
It is battery operated and quiet so that no one will hear the tiny fans at work.
Pit sweat, be gone!
The only problem is that, sure, people may not hear the fans, but they are likely to
see them clipped on to your apparel.
Plus… they only really work for short sleeved items…
Maybe just…wear black instead?
5 - Hello Kitty Contact Lenses There is something pretty sinister about these
Japanese Hello Kitty Contact Lenses!
Eyes are….well…eyes…so what is Hello Kitty doing there!
These 58 dollar lenses are popular with teenage girls in Japan…imagine looking a 14 year
old girl in the eye and seeing they were pink and filled with tiny cats.
Have you ever been on the subway and thought…like…I really need to rest my chin.
No, never, right?
None the less, the Subway Chin Rest is a thing and it is here at number 4
I guess the idea here is to allow you to sleep standing up on a long journey home.
The problem is, is that even though it is aimed to give you a place to rest when there
is no place to sit, it takes up a reasonable amount of room itself.
Also….trains are jerky, sleeping on the chin rest is all very well and good, until
the train gets bumpy or turns.
Also… like… what is the world coming to if we have to sleep using chin rests on the
subway.
Bed…people.
Bed bed bed.
Freaky, but I am all about this, we have a Lonely Persons Pillow at number three
Awwwah.
If you need a hug, but there is no one to give you a cuddle, you can buy this lonely
persons' pillow… which…
ow.
It is basically a pillow in a shirt with an arm to put around yourself.
Some weirder and more expensive versions of these pillows come complete with a heartbeat.
That is kinda sad, but also kind of cute, however, the version for men is a lot freakier.
Men seem to have taken to buying a pair of disembodied thighs to sleep on…often called
the Lady Leg Pillow.
The leggy pillow comes complete with a miniskirt in black or red and flesh like kneely stumps
to lean on.
The inventor of the lady lap said what could be better than a pack-away lap to soothe those
occasional bouts of homesickness.
Taking a darker turn at number 2…..Japan has A Suicide Forest
In mount Fuji's shadow, lays a dark, scary place.
Aokigahara forest is 13.5 square kilometres and home to a lot of sad stories, for this
is what is known as Japan's Suicide forest.
This forest, for some reason, is the most popular suicide destination in the world.
Some say at least 100 people a year kill themselves here.
Freaky and very sad.
Okay, bringing it back up to freaky and kinda happy, we have the Japanese Penis Festival
at number 1 In April, Kawasaki celebrates The Festival
of the Steel Phallus.
It is a celebration of the penis and fertility, during which portable penis shrines are paraded
down streets and revellers wear pink wave penis memorabilia, people can even light Penis
Candles.
There also some pretty graphic Penis lollipops…and there is no age restriction on consuming them.
So…Japan!

Is The Internet A Necessity? | AJ+ - Duration: 10:19.
You know the internet. We use it for almost literally everything.
Food. Transportation. Entertainment. Education.
But in the U.S., there's still areas without internet access.
We're somewhere at the bottom of the list when you look at leading developed nations
in terms of broadband penetration, broadband speeds and broadband prices.
In fact, 10% of Americans don't have broadband internet,
which means they can't even stream this video you're watching right now.
It's not a question of just lacking access to the internet.
It's more like lacking the full capacity to use the internet in the way that it's being used.
The difficulty of getting online is a really big deal for the almost 5 million American households
with school-age children. Why? Because that's a lot of students who may
be unable to complete their digital assignments.
Lack of internet access is such a concern, some school districts have equipped
school buses with routers so students can get online.
The discussion about internet access is really about this: Is access to the internet a human right?
Hey fam, I'm Imaeyen, and this Sunday on AJ+ we're exploring what it's like to
live in a digitally connected nation and yet have limited or no internet access.
Maybe you've already heard about the United States' digital divide. There are a
lot of Americans with limited or no access to the internet. In rural America,
39% of Americans lack broadband access. But what's surprising is how many people
in big cities like Detroit and Miami lack access to broadband.
And what we mean by lacking access is having a broadband connection slower than 25 megabits
per second for downloads, and 3 megabits per second for uploads.
With that connection speed, a family of four would be unable to independently stream
four HD movies simultaneously. An estimated 4% of urban homes
are underserved when it comes to internet access. And it's forced people like
small business owner Atreese Watkins to come up with workarounds to get online.
Sometimes you can do stuff like go to a cafe. But again, it's like how many
$4 lattes are you paying for in order to administer your business like three or four days a week?
Watkins' limited internet access extends to her work and home.
For her, getting online is cost-prohibitive.
It would cost about like 90 bucks with most standard service providers.
Her struggle isn't unique. Broadband is expensive, and the cost makes it unaffordable for many.
Nearly half of Americans with household incomes below $30,000 a year have no home broadband at all.
And low-income homes with children are four times more
likely to lack broadband as middle- or high-income families.
What's even more stunning is how the price of the broadband in the U.S.
compares with other countries. I'll let communications professor Victor Pickard explain.
Compared to other leading democracies around the world, the U.S.
typically has lower speeds, poorer services and much more expensive services, in comparison.
An analysis of internet prices in the U.S. and France
found the costs in the United States were as much as three and a half times
higher than those in France for similar service. And it's not like the U.S. is
getting more for all that extra money. The nation only ranks 10th in the world,
behind places like South Korea, Norway and Sweden, when it comes to broadband.
So not only are customers in the United States paying more, they're also
getting fewer choices with slower speeds. But the connectivity issue is about more than affordability.
It disproportionately affects communities of color, poor communities,
rural communities, so it's still very much a major social problem in the United States today.
Even low-income-area residents who can afford
home internet often have to deal with very slow speeds. This year, three African-American
low-income residents of Cleveland, Ohio, filed a complaint with the FCC.
The women claim AT&T has withheld high-speed infrastructure from
the overwhelming majority of census blocks with individual poverty rates above 35%. It's a
practice some call digital redlining. In their complaint, they accused AT&T of
"unjust and unreasonable discrimination." Which, if true, would be a violation of
the Communications Act. Or at least it was. But that was before FCC Chairman Ajit Pai
garnered enough votes to overturn the regulation. By the way, that's the same
ruling that killed net neutrality. Pai has also suggested
lowering the goalpost for what constitutes acceptable speeds for broadband.
And that could affect how much funding is available to expand broadband networks into rural
or low-income areas. So people who are underserved might be deemed
to have acceptable internet speeds. Ajit Pai is also the man who suggested a smartphone
can be your primary vehicle to get online. Which is curious, because
he's also the guy who began scaling back internet and phone subsidies for low-income families.
Even if you accept using a smartphone as a primary source for internet
access as reasonable, realize that 23% of all smartphone owners
have had to cancel service at some point because of costs.
Low-income smartphone owners are even more likely to drop the service because of price. And that's
a problem in a world where we do so much online.
Access to broadband is no longer a luxury. It's a necessity. For everything ranging from education,
to health, to livelihood, not to mention entertainment, or just getting information,
communicating with our loved ones, we have to have access to broadband services.
You also need broadband to make it easier to run your small business.
As Atreese Watkins has discovered, not having it can cost you.
It was really difficult for me to start accepting credit card payments.
There were people who stopped wanting to do business with me because I wouldn't.
And if I'm at a venue where I have bad cell signal and there's no wi-fi,
I can't make sure I got paid. I can't make sure my payment processed.
We use the internet daily, just like water or, say, electricity.
Can you imagine the nation having the same debate we're having about internet access about electricity?
Oh wait, you don't have to, because we already did.
In 1932, only about 10% of rural America had electricity,
and about half of those people had to buy their own power plants.
You had very similar discussions about whether electricity should be seen as a necessity or a luxury.
It parallels many of the discussions we're having today around broadband access.
Should the internet be seen as a necessity? Is it even a human right, as some would argue?
We don't go in and tell people that they can have more or less water pressure
based on how much they pay their water bill. We don't tell people whether they can
have dim or bright lights based on how much they pay.
Today, we don't consider electricity a luxury. It's a utility.
Harvard law professor Susan Crawford says high-speed internet access has the potential to affect
the U.S.'s economic growth the way electricity did. So should we regulate internet accessibility
in the same way we do electricity? That's not on Pai's to-do list.
He believes the FCC is "restoring internet freedom" by
by deregulating and "eliminating burdensome and unnecessary requirements."
He claims that'll free up ISPs like Comcast and AT&T to invest in the necessary infrastructure
to improve connectivity for underserved Americans. But Pickard doesn't believe that's true.
He says Pai's actions are less deregulation and more reregulation,
as Pai's FCC is basically restructuring the industry to serve corporate interests.
He says there's little incentive for ISPs to provide consumers with a better service.
Over the internet's lifetime, the ISP market has consolidated to the point where
there are just two companies providing access.
In some parts of the country, there's only one, which is effectively a monopoly.
And it gets more problematic. Millions are actually forced to choose a company
that's blocked certain applications.
One option for improving access for Americans is municipally owned internet service providers.
It's what Chattanooga, Tennessee, has done. Its citywide fiber internet network
is among the fastest and most affordable internet in the country.
And it's even got a nickname: the Gig. And the city built it itself.
Comcast and AT&T didn't like that, and they sued four times. But Chattanooga won.
Here's what happened next. An independent study published by University of Tennessee
found the network could be directly tied to the creation of between 2,800 and 5,200 new jobs.
It also said the economic benefits for the city have been roughly $1 billion over the course of the last five years.
But Chattanooga's success poses a great challenge to the telecom industry,
which has lobbied states across the country to ban or limit similar experiments.
Many states, about 20 as a matter of fact, have passed laws that make this very difficult.
Basically, they have succumbed to telecommunication industry lobbying
and passed laws that give internet service providers the first right of refusal,
so that municipalities aren't even allowed by law to try to create these community broadband networks.
Because of lobbyists, there's a Tennessee law that makes it illegal for Chattanooga's
network to expand out into surrounding areas.
And they're forbidden from offering internet to customers at rates
that are less than the actual cost of providing the service.
If we turn accessing the technology itself into the market,
that's a whole other market we have to go through in order to just be viable.
And like I said, if you're not on certain platforms, you don't exist online,
so it literally gives those providers the power to tax folks out of existence.
Hey guys, thanks so much for watching. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe.
And what I want to know is if any of you, or people you know, have trouble getting online.
Tell us your stories in the comments below, and don't forget to come back next Sunday when we have another great video.

Nancy Pelosi With DRASTIC Actions Against Trump State Of The Union.
It's simply unbelievable how liberals are determined to take down President Trump regardless
of the million good things he did including the tax cuts that increased the standard of
the American people.
And now, the Democratic party is going to put dozens of DREAMERs on a balcony during
the January 30 State of the Union.
Via Politico:
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats will fill the balcony with so-called
Dreamers and other immigrants during President Donald Trump's State of the Union address
next week as the party panned a White House attempt on Thursday to reach a deal on immigration
reform.
The White House released a one-page framework for legislation that includes a path to citizenship
for 1.8 million Dreamers — recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
program, or DACA — and other undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children.
The proposal, the work of senior White House adviser Stephen Miller, was offered as a bipartisan
compromise to give young undocumented immigrants a legal foothold in exchange for more than
$25 billion in increased border security and a sharp reduction in future legal immigration.
While Miller described the plan as a dramatic concession for the White House, Democrats
aren't yet buying in and plan to make a statement at the State of the Union on Tuesday.
There is even more written about this issues.
Via BizPac Review:
Younger illegal immigrants in Arizona make up a far larger percentage of the state's
prison inmates than their share of the population would suggest, according to a new analysis.
While illegal immigrants ages 18 to 35 — a group immigration activists call "Dreamers"
— are about 2 percent of of the Arizona population, they are almost 8 percent of the
prison population.
The over-representation by a factor of four shows that younger illegal immigrants in Arizona
are far more likely to commit crimes than U.S. citizens or legal immigrants of a similar
age, says John Lott Jr., president of the Crime Prevention Research Center.
"Even after adjusting for the fact that young people commit crime at higher rates,
young undocumented immigrants commit crime at twice the rate of young U.S. citizens,"
Lott wrote in a report published Thursday.
"These undocumented immigrants also tend to commit more serious crimes."
Liberals are widely known for forcing their propaganda based on 'power' and muscle.
They are always making public stunts because they cannot face Republicans with words because
their words mean nothing.

F13TH: The Game - Context Kill Fun with Part 3 Jason - Duration: 16:20.
Welcome to the second part of the series. Time to play as Part 3 Jason on Higgins Haven.
In this one we will have a lot of fun with context kills (performed in the environment).
The Higgins Haven map has one of my favourite context kills in the game: the graveyard fence impalement kill.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to perofrm that kill in this video, but I will link you to it if you want to check it out.
Remember I mentioned Grip Strength in the last video? Part 3 Jason has great Grip Strength.
He can hold counselors longer, perfect for context kills (carrying them to locations in the environment).
Like before, set a trap by the phone box. Don't let them call the cops and escape.
Whoops, performed this weapon kill behind the bushes! Looks kind of cinematic though.
"It's what you don't see that's scary". - Every wannabe film critic ever.
The door is wide open! Easy Mode is just laughable sometimes (and no, I don't always use it).
Our first context kill: the door kill!
Looks cool and you get a staggering 150 XP (or "CP") from it.
Leveling up is important to unlock all the counselor clothes, Jason skins and kills.
Some you have to buy with CP points, and a few are automatically unlocked at a really high level.
The highest level is 150 (it was recently changed from level 101).
If you want to level up fast, perfect your strategies and be sure to play during the Double XP events.
I'm only at around Level 50 right now, because other interests steal time away..
..and because the game can become painfully repetitive even after a day or two.
She was trying to refuel the yellow car. Most maps have three vehicles:
A blue car (four seater), a yellow car (two seater), and a boat (two seater).
To start the car, counselors have to find and use the gas, battery and car keys.
The water context kill. Jason moves much faster in water than counselors.
That makes it a really efficient way to traverse the map, especially if you don't have Morph or Shift.
Some Jasons are really fast in water, others not as much. But they're always faster than counselors.
Jason can not only smash generators, but also radios and phone boxes.
Radios (and firecrackers) will give off "sound circles" that Jason could mistake for counselors.
The counselors can repair generators and phone boxes though, so double check sometimes.
Where could they be?
Counselors will usually move towards lit cabins, so they should be the priority.
A bug also makes Tommy Jarvis run to a specific campfire sometimes and just stand there..
A great visual cue is a counselors flashlight. They can turn it on or off, it alleviates "fear".
Counselors have a stamina meter, and will make more noise when they run.
The fastest way to regain stamina is to stop and crouch for a while.
Counselors and online players will often jump through cabin windows..
Creating a kind of "cat and mouse" chase between them and Jason.
Jason can use Morph and traps (outside windows) to gain the upper hand though.
Another great context kill, the fireplace kill!
Jason can also do this outdoors, triggering a kill with a barbecue skewer.
Noticed the rain and thunder effects? They were added late, but I love them.
If you played the game in the early months, there were no weather effects. Not as atmospheric.
In the top left you'll see a tombstone symbol. That's the graveyard (where you do the impalement kill).
As soon as I smashed the generator, you immediately hear the counselor whimpering.
That indicates that they're scared. I also heard someone repairing a car.
Since a full car repair is slightly unlikely, I will continue chasing the target inside.
Now I'm using Stalk to disguise my approach. The counselor screams when he sees me.
Again, highlighting the importance of sound in the game - every sound has a purpose.
A fun context kill. The boombox smash!
Let's smash the radio too. We don't want anyone turning it on to distract us.
Rarely seen in the movies: Jason casually opening doors.
He's always hacking or smashing through them, much like in the game (with the Rage ability).
This is the graveyard I was mentioning. Thought I'd see if anyone was here..
Sadly not.
Combining Shift with water movement for really fast traversal.
Part 3 has the most characters as playable counselors: "Chris", Chuck, Fox and Shelly.
Shelly is voiced by the actor, Larry Zerner. He's the guy who gave Jason his trademark hockeymask.
If you damage Jason enough, his mask will fly off, and you can even pick it up for an achievement.
For a closer look at most masks, check out the Virtual Cabin 2.0 (a kind of interactive museum challenge).
Jason can't Shift through objects like trees or buildings, most likely because you'd get stuck or cause bugs.
(Hear the counselor calling Tommy Jarvis in there?)
Shift is really useful if a counselor has set a trap in a doorway.
You'll just move right over it. Counselors can get stuck in their own traps as well.
I just heard the faint creak of a closet door. That means the counselor is hiding in one.
As a counselor you can hold your breath while in hiding, but only for a few seconds..
Then you let out a huge audible gasp. That's a great "risk/reward" system.
Now he's rummaging for items.
The game has too many pocket knives.. At this point almost every counselor has one.
Hopefully that will be nerfed in a future patch.
Notice how the grab kills (triangles at the bottom right) aren't glowing red all the time..
You can't perform them all the time, giving the counselors a few seconds to struggle.
Sadly that doesn't always work either, and they can be really hard to perform indoors or in rocky environments.
Stumble coming up..
Scared counselors are more likely to stumble. Pick one with high Composure stats.
Let's wound this athlete.
Not so fast anymore.
Finally! The open window kill. This was broken though..
..it's even funnier when it's just open. They die from..shock I guess?
There is an achievement for jumping through 99 closed windows.
It's called Windows 99.
See that red and white radio tower on the left?
That lets us know the cabin contains the radio to call Tommy Jarvis.
I usually allow them to call him, because 8 kills are better than 7. ;D
What did I say about pocket knives? Everybody has one..
This is the Higgins Haven barn from Part 3, where Jason has his final confrontation with Chris.
She'll hide in a closet inside, so I am using Stalk to make sure she stays in there.
It's too bad that bots never hide in tents or outhouses.
Damn it, she came out again. Oh well.
Head punch context kill. Ker-splat!
Jason can punch heads off like Part 8, or even kick them off with a new kill.
Realism is..not crucial to the Friday the 13th experience.
If you've seen the films a lot, you'll notice that the maps are really accurate.
Down to the interior furniture in some cases, and the look of the vehicles.
The camps are a lot bigger in the game though, to make sure the experience is balanced and fun.
But if you want an intense match, try the smaller map variations of the original three camps.
Counselors can't scatter and hide as much, making for a faster and more intense challenge.
It's important to always check cabins that are "off the beaten path". They're great hiding places.
Jason tries to throw a knife at Chris in Part 3, but misses.
With that budget you can clearly see the wire that the knife travels along. It's great.
Fuck you too Mr. Rock!
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will play Jason Voorhees in the Disney reboot.
That was a joke.
But it's bad enough to be real.
If you've used up Morph and Shift, try to pick up some knives in the meantime or smash some windows.
Back to the shack. Counselors are at a disadvantage because they don't start the match with a map.
But they can see how progress is going on the cars, boat, calling the cops and Tommy.
Happened across Tommy, finally!
Ow. When shot, tap A fast to rise again.
Pamela's line is taken verbatim out of Freddy vs. Jason.
But spoken by Freddy Krueger trying to manipulate Jason as his mother.
I tried to grab Tommy here but was completely in the wrong position. Whoops.
Carry someone to that fence and you can impale them on it. You'll also see Jason and Pamela's graves in the game.
For a spooky graveyard experience I recommend the Virtual Cabin 2.0.
If anyone wants me to reset my Virtual Cabin 2.0 and make a video of the whole experience, I will.
You unlock the experience in three stages, exploring and collecting Friday the 13th items.
It's packed with game and movie trivia, and you eventually unlock all the Jason "statues".
Including Part 1 Jason and Uber Jason from Jason X. Neither of them are playable characters...yet.
But Uber Jason and the Grendel ship will be added to the game in the future.
The only Jason variants that are not in the game (in some form) are Freddy vs. Jason and the 2009 remake.
I'm hoping they'll be added, as well as an alternate "normal" skin for Jason X.
Thom Mathews returns to voice Tommy Jarvis, as seen in Part 6: Jason Lives.
Meaning Thom Mathews is sort of fighting Kane Hodder. Pretty cool!
Now imagine a game mode where Ari Lehman fights Corey Feldman, with machete keytars and Michael Jackson hairdos!
Seriously, look up Corey Feldman's "music" career. It is...bizarre to say the least, but always so entertaining.
Go ahead, pause the video. I'll wait.
If you paused it to look up his videos.. Told you they were amazing. ;D
Anyway, we're trying to kill adult Tommy here. Slippery bastard. He's fast and very strong.
But with enough perseverance..
Jason is a licensed chirocracktor.
That pretty much sums it up for this video, don't forget to check the graveyard kill..
..and Corey Feldman's "Ascension Millennium" video. I think you've earned it. ;D
Also on my wishlist? Pamela Voorhees as a playable character. It'd be the best.
No Trapper bonus this time, but still fun. Hope you liked the video! Catch you next time.

Most Gerrymandered State Has To Redraw Its Map - Duration: 6:49.
ANOTHER STATE SUPREME COURT HAS THANKFULLY STRUCK DOWN THE
EXTREMELY PARTISAN GERRYMANDERED CONGRESSIONAL MAP.
HERE I AM TALKING ABOUT PENNSYLVANIA.
THIS IS A MAP THAT THE STATE AND POLITICAL PARTIES IN THE STATE
HAVE BEEN SUFFERING UNDER FOR SOME TIME.
IT IS IN A STATE WHERE YOU HAVE BASICALLY SPLIT IN TERMS OF THE
VOTE, THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF THE SEATS ENDED UP GOING TO
REPUBLICANS BECAUSE THEY HAVE PUT INTO EFFECT AN EXTREMELY
PARTISAN MAP.
THANKFULLY IT LOOKS LIKE FOR THIS YEAR'S ELECTIONS WE WILL
HAVE STILL BIASED CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS BUT HOPEFULLY A LITTLE
BIT MORE EQUITABLE AND REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ACTUAL
VOTE IN PENNSYLVANIA.
>>PENNSYLVANIA WAS CONSIDERED THE WORST GERRYMANDERED STATE
IN THE COUNTRY.
THEY HAVE A DISTRICT THAT LOOK SO RIDICULOUS IT IS CALLED GOOFY
KICKING DONALD DUCK.
IT IS A TERRIBLE IDEA FOR
DEMOCRACY EITHER WAY.
REPUBLICANS OF COURSE DO IT MORE.
SO THEY GATHER UP ALL THE DEMOCRATIC VOTERS IN DISTRICTS
SO THAT WHOEVER THE INCUMBENT IS THEY WILL NEVER LOSE.
THEY HAVE A GIANT LEAD IN THOSE DISTRICTS.
THAT IS WHY SOMETIMES DEMOCRATIC INCUMBENTS DON'T MIND.
SO THEY HAVE THESE HUGE MARGINS AND THE OTHER SEATS ñ
THAT IS WHERE THEY HAVE TO DRAW THEM UP IN CRAZY WAYS.
THEY WILL TAKE A SLICE OF PITTSBURGH THIS WAY AND A SLICE
OF PHILLY THAT WAY AND THEY WILL MAKE IT SO THAT MOST OF THE
DISTRICTS ARE REPUBLICAN AND ALL THE OTHER DEMOCRATIC VOTERS ARE
STUFFED INTO THE FEW DEMOCRATIC
DISTRICTS HENCE IN 2012 DEMOCRATS GOT MORE HOUSEBOATS
THAN REPUBLICANS DID IN THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA.
IN A DEMOCRACY THEY WOULD HAVE MORE DEMOCRATIC CONGRESSMAN IN
PENNSYLVANIA BECAUSE HE GOT MORE VOTES.
THEY SLICE THE DISTRICTS IN SUCH A WAY THAT NONETHELESS
REPUBLICANS WON 13 OF THE 18 SEATS.
EVEN THOUGH THEY GOT LESS VOTES THEY GOT 13 OUT OF THE 18 SEATS.
THAT IS WHY IT IS AS THE COURT SAID IT CLEANLY AND PALPABLY
UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
THEY ARE TAKING AWAY ONE PERSON ONE VOTE.
>>AND THAT IS WHY THE STATE SUDDENLY BOTH IN A WAY THAT IS
NOT IN THE INTEREST OF ITS
ACTUAL CONSTITUENCY.
AND WHEN YOU EXTEND THIS OUT OVER THE ENTIRE COUNTRY THIS
IS WHY DEMOCRATS WILL GET MORE VOTES IN THE GENERAL ELECTION
FOR SENATE, HOUSE, AND FOR THE PRESIDENCY.
AND THEN THEY WILL NOT HAVE CONTROL OF ANY OF THOSE THINGS.
IS BELIEVED THAT THE SUPREME COURT WILL NOT STEP IN BECAUSE
THIS IS JUST A STATE THING, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW.
WE RECENTLY REPORTED ON NORTH CAROLINA.
NORTH CAROLINA ALSO THE SUPREME COURT SAID THIS IS A
GERRYMANDERED PARTISAN BIASED CONGRESSIONAL MAP, YOU DO
ANYONE BEFORE THE ELECTION.
THEN THE SUPREME COURT PUT A HOLD ON IT.
NOW THERE IS ANOTHER PANEL OF JUDGES SAYING IN FACT YOU WILL
HAVE TO DO IT, BUT THAT IS BEING CHALLENGED.
YOU CAN'T JUST EXPECT THAT BECAUSE THE SUPREME COURT JUDGE
ñ LOOK AT HOW NORTH CAROLINA,
REPUBLICANS ARE DEALING WITH A LITTLE BIT OF A SETBACK THERE.
THE NORTH CAROLINA SUPREME COURT WENT FOR THREE ROUGHLY LIBERAL.
AFTER THAT SWITCH THE REPUBLICANS DECIDED L IF THEY'RE
GOING TO STOP US FROM GERRYMANDERING THE CONGRESSIONAL
DISTRICTS WE GERRYMANDER THE
JUDICIAL DISTRICTS SO THEY HAVE BEEN CHANGING THE JUDICIAL
DISTRICTS TO TRY TO REELECT REPUBLICAN JUDGES TO STRIKE DOWN
THE GERRYMANDERING THEY ALSO CHANGE JUDICIAL ELECTIONS FROM
NONPARTISAN TO PARTISAN.
YOU HAVE TO SAY WHAT PARTY YOU ARE IN.
THE IDEA IS THAT THEY WILL NOT WANT TO VOTE FOR DEMOCRATIC
JUDGE THERE.
THEY ALSO CANCELED PRIMARIES IN JUDICIAL DISTRICTS HOPING THAT
THE REPUBLICAN INCUMBENTS WOULD THEN HAVE AN ADVANTAGE.
AND THEY ALSO STOP A NEW DEMOCRATIC GOVERNOR FROM
ADDING THREE NEW JUDGES TO THE COURT OF APPEALS.
SO THE LENGTHS THEY WILL GO TO TO MANIPULATE THE VOTE AND
PERVERT DEMOCRACY ALMOST NO NO BOUNDS.
>>WE ARE ENDING ON A FUN FACT ñ
EVEN REAL CLEAR POLITICS WHICH LEANS REPUBLICAN CALLED
PENNSYLVANIA THE GERRYMANDER OF THE DECADE.
FUN FACT IS NOW WHEN THEY REDRAW THE LINES TO INCUMBENTS WILL
LIKELY BE IN THE SAME DISTRICT.
IT WILL BE TO REPUBLICANS IN THE CASE OF PENNSYLVANIA, THIS
HAPPENED IN OHIO WITH TWO DEMOCRATS.
WHEN THEY REDRAW THE LINES NOW THERE WILL BE A BUNCH OF
REPUBLICANS GOING AGAINST EACH
OTHER WHICH WILL BE AWESOME.
AND FINALLY THE FUND CONCLUSION ñ
THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS A HOUSE OF CARDS.
THEY LOSE THE ELECTIONS IN POPULAR VOTES ALL THE TIME
INCLUDING ELECTIONS LIKE TRUMP IN GEORGE W. BUSH'S FIRST
ELECTION WHERE THEY WHEN THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE, KIND OF,
BUT THEY LOST THE ELECTORAL VOTE.
BUT WITH THE INFLUENCE OF MONEY AND POLITICS, AN AGING
POPULATION WITH THEIR ONE LAST GASP OF ANGER, AND ALL THE
GERRYMANDERING THEY BARELY CLUNG ON TO POWER.
ONCE YOU START KNOCKING DOWN A COUPLE OF THOSE PEGS THEY ARE
IN FOR A WORLD OF HURT.
THAT COLLAPSE IS GOING TO BE EPIC.

Republican Introduces Bill That Would Name People In Congress Who Settled Harassment
With Taxpayer Funds.
The American people recently learned some outrageous news.
It seems some members of Congress have used taxpayer funds to settle sexual harassment
claims against them.
Florida Republican Ron DeSantis has introduced a new bill to deal with this.
CNS News reports:
House Bill Would Name Those Who Have Used Taxpayer Funds to Settle Sex Harassment Claims
Legislation introduced by Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) last month would require the Congressional
Office of Compliance to submit to Congress the names of those members who have used taxpayer
funds to settle sexual harassment claims, require the members to reimburse the U.S.
Treasury, and void non-disclosure agreements so victims can tell their stories.
The "Congressional Accountability and Hush Fund Elimination Act," introduced by DeSantis
on Nov. 30, currently has 88 co-sponsors.
"What does it say about the sincerity of Congress in combatting harassment when members
and staff can have taxpayers cover for their misconduct while keeping it all secret?,"
DeSantis said in a statement.
"This legislation will protect taxpayers by making congressional settlement data public,
barring tax dollars from being used to bail out congressional misconduct and requiring
reimbursement of the treasury by members and staff who have had taxpayer-financed settlements
paid on their behalf.
The bill will also allow victims to speak publicly about harassment suffered irrespective
of any non-disclosure agreements."
According to the bill, "Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this
Act, the Office of Compliance shall submit to Congress and make available to the public
on the Office's public website a report on all payments made with public funds prior
to the date of the enactment of this Act for awards and settlements in connection with
violations of section 201(a)(1) of the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995."
It also prohibits the use of public funds for future sexual harassment settlements and
requires those who have used taxpayer funds for claims to repay the Treasury.
The bill bans future nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) and allows those who have signed NDAs
in the past as a condition of the settlement to "make public any information relating
to the award or settlement."
"Members of Congress and staff cannot live under special rules," DeSantis said.
"The current system incentivizes misconduct and makes it difficult for victims.
By exposing these secret settlements and by discontinuing using tax dollars to pay for
member misconduct, this bill will reduce the incentive for bad behavior and bring more
accountability to Congress."
According to the Congressional office of Compliance, since Fiscal Year 1997 Congress has paid out
more than $17 million to settle 264 workplace claims from a Treasury Fund created by the
1995 Congressional Accountability Act.
It's about time this was dealt with.
If taxpayer funds are used then taxpayers have a right to full transparency.
