雙性戀網路影集 Web Series │比利時 La Théorie du Y Y的理論 (Eng Sub) - Duration: 6:52.

If I talk to fast

You can slow down by the function on the bottom right

Just kidding haha

Hi everyone, this is Hsiao R

Today I want to share a topic that

You probably heard it many times

Perhaps you are so tired of it

But still I want to talk about this

Today's topic is about bisexual

However, since you probably are tired of it

So I decided to take a web series

from Belgium to introduce this topic

This web series from Belgium is called

La théorie du Y

It's French

Probably means in English "The Theory of Y"

Remember I can't talk on behalf of all biseuxals

But I can talk about

As far as I have observed from my bisexual friends

They are always facing certain pressure

This web series really

gives you that feeling of their pressure to the maximum

Perhaps some bisexual friends may

think it can be even more dramatic somehow

So from the beginning of the series

We can look at it this way

There were two stories lines going on the same time

One was present, one was from the past

These two stories are like history repeating itself

Because same problems were faced

In the middle of the two lines, we have a dashed lines

As the main female character exploring her sexuality

Her fantasy had been quite chaotic

Female, male, female, male

Eventually three lines came crush togehter

The series really portrayed

The social pressure from different social role

For example your father, mother, your best friends

Even your boss or something

How each character pressures you from their angle while exploring sexuality

or how they

treat your certain behaviors while exploring

I really really admire this series

Unfortunately, there's only English subtitles

I cannot translate from English to Chinese

and upload it for them via Youtube's function

But

Did you hear that?

Japanese Bōsōzoku (motorcycle group)

They really drive super slow

I really saw them once midnight at Tsukuba Center

Can you guys just go away faster?

Okay, sorry about that

Rare chance to record that it's probably kinda nice

So where were we?

Uh...? He he...

So about bisexuals

If you have seen Lesbianingtogayther channel''s video

Bisexual friends of mine

People usually misunderstand them

So first, bisexuals are

players, they are greedy, and unfaithful

Are you even serious?

If a heterosexual person cheats today

Do you say you heterosexual bastard?

No! You simply say you are a scum

You are a scumbag!

Then why when a bisexual person

has a boyfriend or a girlfriend

People say they are greedy

They have the ability to appreciate different genders

How is this an offensive thing?

Okay I know

Some people they love aggressively with too much passion

That might come from somewhere behind

But when you just start to feel your heartbeat fasten

Why

Why is this

A disturbing thing to people?

Secondly

People always say

Bisexuals may have

Double chances of that true love pool

Are you even serious?

Even many of my heterosexual friends

Even they think true love are hard to find

♪♫ Song: True Love by 183 Club ♫♪

The possibility of finding your true love

Include everyone's

different types they like

For example I used to have

This and this conditions for my type

But the person I actually have chemistry with

The person I actually fall for is totally different

You have to understand these are

many complex spices

mixing together

and plus when all the stars align that's when love happens

Okay perhaps some bisexuals

They can easily find a boyfriend or a girlfriend

Same thing happens to heterosexual finding a boyfriend

or a girlfriend very fast

Even many homosexuals they do, too

Easily find someone to date

I think to conclude

This really depends on the person

So you are enjoy this series

while feel the pressure bisexuals receive from society

Especially I really love the part

From the beginning to the end

During the exploring process

It did not mention the word bisexual

Until the last

It didn't really mention

But when the main role she wants to buy a book

The name of the book

It includes the word Bisexual, but

well no spoiler

That name was quite

interesting

So this is what I am sharing today

Especially I love the main actress

The story begins when, why am I just saying this now?

The video is just about to start

So the story begins when the main character

Caroline, and her boyfriend were on the way

To Caroline's house, to meet her parents

While on the way she wanted to do something different

She thought every weekend doing the same routine was boring

They usually go to Caroline's house have meals with her parents

So Caroline....(can't speak her language well)

Caroline told her boyfriend

So someone said

There's a good bar on the way

Shall we stop on the way and go there for a drink first

Then we head to my parent's house

Her boyfriend said no

Caroline then said

Well now I feel like making out with you, do you mind

pull the car to the side and let's....

Her boyfriend said no

She became annoyed how her boyfriend is boring

She jumped out the car

Nice jump! Caroline!

Caroline then head to the bar

As she went to dancefloor

A woman came, kissed her, and she liked it

Everyone might think

That's how they met, and that's it

But actually it's not

There are more stories deep down

I know if you heard me saying

La Théorie du Y

Only has English subtitles

You would want to fly to Japan and punch me

That's okay

But I can tell you that

I realized some web series I watched last year

Many were very really good

I was too dramatic and only thought

TWENTY was the best

Probably I was too into it for a period

So recently I have been translating a web series

From KindaTV, home of the series Carmilla!

A brand new series

From last year, called BARBELLE

I want to introduce it after I contribute

to the translation

Then I don't need to say

The sentence everybody hates

"Uh...unfortunately there's no Chinese subtitles"

You seriously would punch me I know

I hope if there are people checking my translation,

They can check it fast so you can watch

Actually web series I watched last year

Most impressive ones are TWENTY,

BARBELLE, LA Web Series, and I just talked about (links below)

La Théorie du Y

LA Web Series is about

A story of two girls

happened just one night in Los Angelas

Just want to let you know what I've been doing

Of course

I am sorry

I still need to do my job well as a student

As I just started master last October

So my video would mostly be like...

like this...

Hahaha...

But if I can

I will try to make it more interesting

Although

Already people told me that

They think it's funny already

by hearing my laughs

Haha

I am glad to hear that

Perhaps once I reach a certain subscribers number

My best friends told me once

Those friends

From high school and they miss my laughs very much

They want to make a video of a compilation of my laughs

I think that sounds pretty

Scary

I think that my channel

will be turned off by Youtube

Turned off by Youtube

Anyway!

More than 250 subscribers I will play

Kill Fuck Marry (comment below to give me names of characters)

More than 500, you can comment below

What do you are annoying questions you've been asked

I will re-do my very first video

Hopefully I can reach 500 before

end of October

If you like my laughter, you can also subscribe oh!

Haha

Conan's Haitian History Lesson - CONAN on TBS - Duration: 8:46.

[Conan Voiceover] When I heard President Trump

had insulted Haiti in the Oval Office.

The President asked,

"Why are we having all these people

"from shithole countries come here?",

referring to African countries and Haiti.

The President then went on to talk about

how they needed to bring in more

people from places like Norway.

Now I have no idea what the president

has against the people of Haiti,

but if the president doesn't like them,

they must be lovely people.

[Conan Voiceover] A day later,

I was exchanging dollars for Haitian gourde,

and before I knew it,

I was in Port-au-Prince

receiving a warm welcome and a bottle of rum.

Now this will last me this morning.

[Conan Voiceover] To understand today's Haiti,

you need to know its history.

This should only take a minute and 23 seconds.

Before the Europeans came,

Haiti was inhabited by the indigenous Taíno people.

Then the Spanish arrived, conquered the Taínos,

plundered their gold,

and brought in thousands of African slaves.

Then the French did the same thing when they took over.

Then in 1804,

Toussaint Louverture and Jean-Jacques Dessalines

led a slave revolt, defeated the French,

and the nation of Haiti was born,

but France demanded reparations,

and Haiti had to pay them 91 million gold francs.

All the while,

the poor black majority fought with the small

but wealthy mulattoes, dividing Haiti.

Until in 1915,

the US invaded to impose stability

while also removing the gold

from the Haitian National Bank.

When the US withdrew,

Haiti was led by military juntas

and mostly corrupt presidents including

Francois "Papa Doc" Duvalier and his son,

Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier who, for the next 30 years,

siphoned hundreds of millions of dollars out of the country,

and were followed by a military government,

more appointed presidents,

military rulers, an elected leader,

more military rulers, another election,

then a coup d'etat, a UN peacekeeping force,

and more contested elections.

Then a devastating earthquake which killed

hundreds of thousands of Haitians

followed by food shortages, an outbreak of cholera,

and devastation by hurricanes.

In short, the people of Haiti have been dealt

the worst hand in the Western hemisphere,

but their spirit remains intact.

I couldn't wait to get outside

and meet these wonderful people.

(audience cheers)

I just bumped into this gentleman.

Your name is?

Kenzo.

You're very funny.

[Conan] Oh, thank you.

Yeah mean, I remember watching a clip on YouTube,

you and Kevin Hart.

And Ice Cube. Oh, yeah, Kevin Hart.

Yeah, man, and I like Kevin Hart also.

Oh, he's fantastic.

He's the other good fellow I prefer.

You know, you're much taller than Kevin Hart.

Yeah, man, I am.

He comes up to here.

He comes up to here on you.

I watch CNN.

Oh, and by the way,

on CNN, I used to watch

The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.

You know, I love this guy's a fan

of mine and Wolf Blitzer.

You're the only guy that likes both of us.

Most people that like him, don't like me.

Hey, how's it going?

Hey, I was watching you this morning.

How are you?

My wife made me watch you, bro.

I really appreciate you saying that.

Wait, why did you say my wife made me watch you?

It shouldn't be that way.

That makes it sound like she made you do the dishes.

I wouldn't mind if she made me do the dishes as well.

It's nice to meet you.

What's your name?

Nice to meet you, my name is James.

James,

you love Haiti?

I love Haiti.

So, okay, let's talk about it.

President Trump used some really

awful language about Haiti last week.

He used the word shithole.

What words would you use to describe Haiti?

Well, I would describe Haiti as the backyard of America.

If it's a shithole,

then Trump should check out his backyard.

You see what I'm saying?

That's fantastic.

I haven't heard anyone say that.

According to the history of this country,

America has had a lot to do

with the condition of this country.

I mean, it may not be so beautiful.

There's trash and garbage a lot of places, but you know,

the people of Haiti are

brilliant, intelligent people, and loving people,

and well-receiving people.

Creative and also really funny.

Everyone I run into is really funny.

Haitian people,

I think that's one of their strengths

because they make a joke out of everything.

You've got a very cool, centered vibe, and I like that.

I want to emulate you.

Do some yoga.

Put some yoga into your life.

Yoga?

No, no, don't do that, don't do that.

Why not, why not?

Just sit here with your back straight,

and close your eyes.

Make sure you're straight, now.

Alright, and now just observe

your inhalation and your exhalation,

and get intimate with yourself, with your breathing.

Okay, I'm intimate with myself.

(laughs)

Just this morning, in fact.

(laughs)

You are better at foreign policy

than the President of the United States right now.

What's your full name?

My name is James Vergneau.

I wish James Vergneau

was President of the United States right now.

I really wish that was true.

That would be wonderful.

[Announcer] James Vergneau believes

in men washing dishes, clean backyards,

and sitting up straight while listening to your breath.

Plus, he's been endorsed by self-pleasurer, Conan O'Brien.

So please, help make James Vergneau

the next President of the United States.

My name is James Vergneau, and I approve this message.

Apparently, there's a group over here that's really angry.

They saw me, they know I'm American,

and they see my camera crew.

We're being told through our interpreter

that when Americans come here,

they only shoot the bad things, which obviously,

is not what we want to do.

Maybe you can tell them the reason I've come to Haiti

(speaks in Haitian Creole)

is because I and a lot of Americans

are angry about what President Trump said.

(speaks in Haitian Creole)

So I wanted to come here and show positive,

great, beautiful things about Haiti.

(speaks in Haitian Creole)

But I understand why just seeing an American

right now with a camera would make people angry.

(speaks in Haitian Creole)

I actually wrote a speech,

tried to write a speech in Creole,

but I can't say it very well, about my intentions here.

(speaks in Haitian Creole)

So you go ahead and tell Trump

to go find out about Dessalines.

About?

Dessalines.

Oh, this island, yes.

He doesn't listen to me, Trump.

Dessalines.

Oh, this island, yes.

Trump is not my friend.

He doesn't listen.

Jean-Jacques Dessalines.

(speaks in Haitian Creole)

He doesn't listen to me, but I will try and tell him.

(speaks in Haitian Creole)

Guys, I know a way we can get Trump

to watch this message right now, okay?

(speaks in Haitian Creole)

So take care of that right now

so that we know Trump watches, and bang.

There you go.

Now, you say your message right there to Trump.

(speaks in Haitian Creole)

I'm still here, by the way, I'm just

trying to participate.

Watch what's going down.

It's just like Thanksgiving at my house.

BREAKING NEWS About JUSTICE GINSBURG… And It COULDN'T BE WORSE - Duration: 3:25.

BREAKING NOW: Trump Just Made MASSIVE Change – 22% Of The US Will NEVER Be The Same!

It's finally happening folks.

The days when 22% of our fellow Americans parking their rear ends on their couches while

the working schmucks go to work in order to give them welfare and food stamps might finally

be coming to an end.

In an attempt to wean people off of taxpayer help, on Wednesday the Trump administration

unveiled it's 2018 Farm Bill.

And amongst its many tweaks, it creates a work requirement for those who receive government

assistance in the form of food stamps.

The document calls for work as the "pathway to self-sufficiency, well-being and economic

mobility for individuals and families" for individuals and families who are on the Supplemental

Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as food stamps.Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue

told reporters at a farm near Mifflintown, Pennsylvania this is a necessity in order

to discourage the welfare lifestyle.

The lifestyle where people turn government assistance into a career choice.

Perdue went on to explain:

"It's evident that there are able-bodied adults without dependents who are on the food

stamp program, who we believe it is in their best interests, and their families' best

interests, to move into an independent lifestyle," Perdue said, according to Bloomberg News.

"During the last downturn, it became a lifestyle for some people.

We don't want it to become permanent," he added. He also stated that because of this

law able-bodied adults will no longer be able to just coast by and receive food stamps without

doing at least a 20 hour work week.

It can be in the form of charity work, part-time job, study or even community service.

But the days of just sitting on the couch waiting for that check to arrive are over.

Freedom Works Reports:

TOP 10 REASONS FOOD STAMPS NEED TO BE REFORMED

Roughly 80 percent of the nearly $1 trillion dollar Farm Bill currently under debate in

Congress deals with food and nutrition assistance programs such as food stamps, the largest

of which is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

In recent years, food stamps have grown into a major financial obligation.

Enrollment in SNAP has increased dramatically, rising from 26 million in 2007 (one in twelve

Americans) to nearly 47 million 2012 (one in seven Americans).

Costs have increased dramatically as well, rising from $35 billion in 2007 to $80 billion

in 2012, making it the second most expensive means-tested federal welfare program, behind

only Medicaid.

As such, it is vital to understand the serious flaws in current food stamp programs.

1.

They Are Ineffective at Reducing Hunger

A report compiled by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) noted that while SNAP (the largest

food stamp program) has had some positive results, "the literature is inconclusive

regarding whether SNAP alleviates hunger and malnutrition in low-income households."

It went on to say that, "those who choose to participate in food assistance programs

generally have greater difficulty meeting their food needs and tend to be more food

insecure compared to others that are eligible for programs but do not participate."

In other words, these programs, despite costing tens of billions per year, are not making

a sizable impact on hunger in America.

2.

They are Subject to Large Scale Fraud & Error

The Government Accountability Office reports that despite great progress, "the amount

of SNAP benefits paid in error is substantial, totaling about $2.2 billion in 2009."

Other food programs are worse.

The Daily Caller reports the story of Adam Sylvain, a student at George Mason University,

who recounts, "My roommate told me he applied for food stamps, and they told him he qualified

for $200 a month in benefits…

He's here on scholarship and he saves over $5,000 each summer in cash.

A few of our other friends who were in the room also said if there were able to, they

would get food stamps … They think that if they're eligible it's the government's

fault, so they might as well."

Stories like this are not uncommon.

Nor is the misuse of food stamp money by retailers or consumers.

In fact, there are only 40 investigators for over 193,000 retailers nationwide, making

abuse hard to catch.

3.

They Lack Transparency

The USDA does not disclose product purchases or how many total SNAP dollars are spent on

each product, nor does the USDA disclose how much money retailers make off of SNAP.

This makes it hard for investigative journalists and watchdogs to identify fraud in the system.

The Association of Health Care Journalists and six other journalist and open-government

groups have requested this information but the USDA refuses to reveal anything.

Why is USDA stonewalling journalists?

What do they have to hide?

4.

They are a Form of Corporate Welfare

According to public health lawyer Michele Simon of eatdrinkpolitics, "SNAP represents

the largest, most overlooked corporate subsidy in the farm bill."

Food stamp programs guarantee large corporations consistent cash flow, creating a powerful

corporate lobbying group that seeks to prevent cuts or changes to SNAP.

For example, J.P. Morgan has contracts for Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards used

for SNAP in half the states and has spent millions of dollars lobbying Congress.

In addition, large food retailers like Kroger and Walmart gain large shares of SNAP purchases.

In some states, Walmart captures upwards to 50 percent of all SNAP purchases.

These companies now have a vested interest in opposing any attempts to decrease food

stamp enrollment.

5.

Food Stamp Advertising Emphasizes Enrollment over Need

The USDA has conducted a massive campaign to increase the number of food stamp recipients,

even hiring recruiters who must fulfill enrollment quotas.

The USDA in its "Community Partner Outreach Toolkit" webpage gives ideas of how to spread

awareness and increase enrollment.

Ideas have been implemented such as SNAP-based bingo games for the elderly, food-stamp parties,

and fliers that that read, "Be a patriot.

Bring your food stamp money home."

But it doesn't stop here; the U.S. and Mexico began a partnership in 2004 to "provide

information on eligibility criteria for Food and Nutrition Service programs," and that

includes disseminating a Spanish language flyer that tells undocumented immigrants,

"You need not divulge information regarding your immigration status in seeking this benefit

[food stamps] for your children."

The U.S. also supplies 1/3 of the Puerto Rican population with food stamps, costing U.S.

taxpayers roughly $2 billion annually.

Clearly, food stamp programs have become more and more about numbers, instead of need.

6.

They Overlap and Create Inefficiencies

A report compiled by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) stated that, "the 18 food assistance

programs show signs of program overlap, which can create unnecessary work and lead to inefficient

use of resources."

Indeed, administrative costs equal about $5.5 billion per year, or about 10 percent of the

value of food stamps distributed.

7.

They Lack Effective Work Requirements

On top of loosening eligibility requirements in both the 2002 and 2008 Farm Bills, and

easing restrictions on states to qualify participants in the 90s, the 2009 Stimulus plan suspended

the SNAP's work requirements for able-bodied adults without dependents (ABAWDs), a 'temporary'

suspension that has continually been renewed.

This creates an incentive for individuals to not work, because such action would likely

jeopardize their eligibility for food stamps.

According to the Congressional Research Service, participation in SNAP has doubled among these

ABAWDs- from 1.9 million to 3.9 million – far outpacing general enrollment increases.

This change allows individuals to stay on food stamps with less incentive to improve

their economic situation, draining taxpayers and discouraging self-reliance.

8.

They Create Dependency

The goal of any government welfare program should be to get people back on their feet,

not to keep them in poverty and hunger.

Current food stamp programs have little work required as a condition of assistance, encouraging

the relatively well off to freeload off the system and those in need to remain in poverty.

Food Stamp Dependence

9.

They Have Become a Burden on Taxpayers

While a large share of the rise in food stamp enrollment is due to our economic downturn,

over-active advertising and loosening of eligibility requirements have permanently (unless reformed)

enlarged food stamp programs.

The CBO projects that by 2022, 34 million people will be enrolled in SNAP and expenditures

will total $73 billion, much higher than $19.8 billion spent in 2000.

10.

They Should Be Handled by States

Currently, SNAP's funding comes completely from the federal government, encouraging states

to enroll as many people as possible.

In fact, in the states' view, there is little or no problem if food stamps are being abused;

it is not "their" problem.

This only leads to increasing costs.

States can also use what's called "categorical eligibility" for SNAP in which they determine

eligibility not on the program's income or asset limitations but on individual's

participation in other welfare assistance programs.

This usually leads to relaxed standards.

Sending the money directly to states as block-grants would give states more flexibility and encourage

them to minimize cost and maximize effectiveness, as proven by the successful welfare reforms

of the 1990s.

We all know people sometimes are down on their luck and they need a helping hand, there is

nothing wrong with that.

But we also know people who make it a career choice to receive taxpayer-funded help.

They just sit on the couch and watch tv while the rest of us go to work.

They have multiple children even though they can't possibly afford them and we the already

overburdened taxpayers, who have been responsible in our choices, are financially on the hook

for those children.

He tries to be active in a conversation and he even throws some jokes.

#13 - Confusion

Sometimes, shy guy is not sure whether he is worthy to be with you.

This confusion can lead to dangerous effect in long term.

#14 - Body language

Acting weird or clumsy is the character of shy guy when meeting you.

Pay attention to it, and you can guess whether he likes you.

#15 - He tries to talk to your friend

Just to know you better, he tries to befriend with your friend.

It is a great improvement from a shy guy into more talkative person.

HOW SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE THINK | Motivational Video in ENGLISH - Duration: 7:19.

There was once an old man running a coffee house.

His business was running good.

The interesting thing was that, the old man was deaf and he cant hear what others were

talking about in his caf.

One day, one of his regular customers showed him a newspaper indicating that from the last

few weeks the economy of this country was running bad.

The old man was in shocked because he thought that the economy was good all this while.

Its because his business was running pretty good.

The old man then cut his budget for advertising and he tried to lower down business expenses

everywhere.

Guess what had happened next?

Because he cut the advertising budget, fewer people started to visit his cafe.

And because he lowered down his business expenses, so to save cost, he started to use less quality

food and drinks.

The old man then felt the lower income rate and truly believed that the economy is slow.

What can you learn from this story?

Our thinking shape our actions, and hence, our life.

Henry Ford once said, Whether you think you can or you cant, you are right.

You are no different from successful people who accomplished outstanding result out there.

The only difference is that they think differently and hence, they act differently.

Therefore, if we think about great things and expect good results, we will align our

actions with our thoughts.

However, if we are always thinking about bad things and negative stuff, our action will

reflect that.

So you must change your thinking first if you want to have a better life.

If you are living a mediocre life and you want to change, start by changing your thinking.

If you are poor, it is not because you have a poor money management skill, but instead,

chances are you have a poverty mindset.

If you are always feeling emotional, it is not that you have an emotional problem, but

rather, you have a thinking problem.

You have to change your thinking in order to improve any area of your life.

So, here are 5 extraordinary thinking that most successful people adopt.

If you want to be successful, in this new year start to program these thoughts into

your subconscious mind, 1.

Dare to dream and to be different When Arnold Schwarzenegger joined the first

bodybuilding competition many years ago, he was in the army.

He ran away from the army camp, ignoring the punishments he might face because of his action,

took the train for hours, and arrived at the competition without a proper dress to participate

in the competition.

He borrowed the dress from his competitor so that he can take part and joined the competition.

Finally, he won the bodybuilding competition and got back to his army camp.

Of course, he got punished from his army officers for running away, but he fulfilled his dreams

and the rest was history.

Do you dare to dream and do crazy things like Arnold Schwarzenegger did?

Too often, we tend to think small and dont dare to be unique.

We have been conditioned by people around us to think normal and act normal.

No wonder, why most people are not successful.

So dare to dream.

Dream big and dare to be different.

2.

Change but never quit Thomas Edison failed more than 10,000 attempts

before he finally invented the light bulb.

Do you know that Walt Disney was fired by a newspaper editor because he lacks imagination

and no good ideas?

Do you know that Steve Jobs was fired from Apple, the company that he started?

But he never gives up pursuing his passion and eventually got back to Apple and created

revolutionary products like the iPhone and iPad.

Successful people continuously change themselves but they never quit.

3.

Take calculated risk If you are someone who doesnt dare to take

the risk, most likely you will never amount to something extraordinary in life.

When you read the biographies of successful people like Steve Jobs, Jack Ma, Walt Disney,

you will notice that they are all risk takers.

While Im not saying that you should simply take risk, all Im suggesting is that you

take calculated risk.

Just like if you want to invest in a stock, you need to do your research and study the

company and the business before you make your move.

And even if you have done all your research and study, there will still be some form of

risks involved, but those are minimal.

And this is exactly what successful people do.

They think, study, do their research and then they jump in and take calculated risk.

Arnold Schwarzenegger ran off from the army camp because he knew that when he got back,

he can take on the punishments.

You must find out what works for you.

If you can take the risk, do it.

4.

Sacrifice for your dreams When reporters ask Michael Phelps, the Olympic

swimmer who won a total of 28 medals, what contributed his spectacular wins, Michael

replied that he sleep, eat and swim.

Michael Phelps dedicated most of his time in the pool, learning to swim faster and better.

He tries to perfect his skills and keep on improving his swimming techniques.

What about you?

How much time do you spend on improving your skills and knowledge?

Are you willing to wake up early, work harder and stay later?

Are you willing to sacrifice your leisure time and use the time to work on your dreams

instead?

Success is definitely not easy, but the rewards will be well worth it.

Recently, Jackie Chan, the world-famous Chinese actor won an Oscar award.

Jackie said that after 40 years of hard work with many broken bones, he finally got the

award.

So if you also want to be successful, be willing to sacrifice and spend less time on unnecessary

activities.

Let go some of your activities that do not contribute to the success that you want.

5.

Network with other successful people If you are a professional tennis player, would

you train with a rookie who does not know how to play tennis at all?

Of course, you wont.

If you keep training with a rookie it will significantly downgrade your performance.

Les Brown said, If you want to fly with the eagles, dont swim with the ducks.

If you run around with losers, you will end up becoming a loser. It is said we are

the average of five of our closest friends.

Steve Jobs and Larry Ellison the co-founder of Oracle Corporation are best friends.

They went for vacation together and when Steve was fired from Apple and wanted a comeback,

Larry Ellison said that he wanted to buy Apple for Jobs.

Henry Ford and Thomas Edison first met in 1896.

They became good friends ever since.

They exchanged gifts and birthday wishes, they travel together and even bought neighboring

vacation homes together.

So who are your best friends and who do you mix around with most of the time?

Always choose to mix with people who are successful or are doing something great or at least have

a positive attitude towards life.

Because, you will learn their mindset, their beliefs, and their attitudes, irrespective

of, whether you want to learn or not.

At last wish you a very happy new year from the team of Solution For Life Problems, may

this new year brings all kinds of positive changes in your life.

And also a little request to you, if you find this video useful in finding any kind of solution

for your life problems, then please share it with your loved ones.

Its because by sharing you can also help to change someone's life.

And please let us know by commenting below, on which topic you would like to watch the

next video.

Because, our main aim is to help you.

More wisdom, more solution, better life.

An Advantage 25 Year Old Creatives Have Over Everyone Else by Jeff Leisawitz - Duration: 5:05.

so you left Los Angeles and you're back in Washington what was the impetus for that

moving to Washington mm-hmm I just needed a new new scene you know

needed some more green I kind of liked the rain I'm going to do like beautiful

rain down on me there you go Oh fan yeah but at what point because everybody

talks about going somewhere else but a lot of people don't do it

what was it where you just said it's time and FA IIIi want to change the

course in my life well one of the pieces was I was young and probably twenty four

or five so when were younger we have more flexibility I think in our choices

and in our lifestyles and things like that so one of the things that I try to

get across to my college students I teach song writing and recording to

college students which other oh that's a job or you kidding me I love it but I

try to get them to understand the power and flexibility of their youth because

they don't really know it because they haven't been 15 years older yet right

they haven't been in the workforce and running around they're just getting out

of school or in school um so that was a piece of it being young and not you know

I knew where it's sort of where I wanted to go with my life but it just seemed

like it seemed like good place yeah another thing that I say a lot in these

interviews but I'm gonna say it again is that when you're 20 24 people give

you Pat's on the back and they give you add a girl at a boy you can do it when

you're 40 they don't do that and sometimes I think it's because there's

part of them that wants to do it and they can't and then that's all very real

thing in the adult world you have certain rules and obligations and so

then you don't get as many added girls that's true

maybe you can't drop everything and move to a different city but you always can

do something and that is the key right a huge difference and you know you got to

pay the rent whatever the deal is okay I get that you know of course but if you

if you want to be a screenwriter spend a half an hour a day or two hours on a

Saturday or whatever it is a little bit of time and you you absolutely can do

that it's just about prioritizing right are you watching TV or are you writing

on your screenplay right I mean let's get real going back to the image in the

beginning of your book yeah are you going to the bar or you practicing

guitar right so I mean there's a million ways to go there's a million things that

you probably don't need in your life you have to play video games for two hours a

day mm-hmm probably not you know you can do something productive with that if you

choose right what about that being a lonelier way because going to the bar

there's also 20 other people that can be part of what then this isn't my quota

ain't it awful Club it's from Peter McWilliams you know book and and and he

said there's one in every workplace there's one in every bar and and it's

great you can commiserate you can talk we know politics as a hot-button right

now but you go back home and you write that screenplay it's pretty much just

you it's lonely it is lonely life is lonely right but it's yours to

choose so if you wanna if you want to be in that Club go ahead but don't whine to

me about it right or yourself because we all have power right and perhaps it is

lonely writing by yourself but guess what there's a million writing clubs out

there writing meetups and things like that so join one of those that's true

and suddenly you're all writing by yourself but at least you at the same

table right I mean I've done that a million times is that why you're writing

coffee shops or maybe you don't I'm just assuming I do sometimes sometimes

not yeah I mean that's that's why half the people go to coffee shop in Seattle

you will see 40 people in a room four or five of them are talking to each other

and everybody else is on the computer doing something why do they do that

because they want to be together even though they're separate and I mean I'm

not saying it's the greatest thing in the world we do it together

you know I kind of want to be together but it's it's something

you

Bionic Commando CHAPTER 1, Worlds Of Power [Nintendo] | Doug Reads It For You - Duration: 16:18.

Bionic Commando, a book written under the pen name of F. X. Nine, is secretly one of

the best books ever. I'll be covering this book and the others under the long defunct

Scholastic Worlds Of Power series in an upcoming episode of Secret Screening, but for now,

what you need to understand going into this, is that Bionic Commando is a book written

for boys in the early 1990s with the help and blessing of the creators of the game,

but without the official sanction of Nintendo.

It was designed to be easy to read, action packed, and aimed at the interests of young

boys in a way that enticed them to read - because at the time, fewer and fewer boys were spending

their free time reading books for pleasure. They were all playing those dang video games.

And that had adults worried.

So what follows is an unironic masterpiece. The best PG action movie never made. A world

of manly men, bullets you can outrun, poorly explained superpowers, and - most importantly

- sporadic hints for the video game printed upside down so kids who didn't want game

spoilers could still read the book without the risk of the hints making the game too

easy for them.

It's an earnest attempt to make something that they thought boys would love in the 90s,

as well as a remarkable time capsule showing the lengths adults would go to to try to reach

a quickly modernizing youth audience they don't understand.

Each book in the series started with the book equivalent of an arcade attract mode. An action

packed teaser of what the book would be like if you purchased and read it. So steel yourself,

dear viewer. As we swing into the specifically not bloody world of Bionic Commando, as Doug

Reads It For You.

ATTRACT MODE: The Pit of Peril

Jack looked at the floor. In front of him was an open pit with sharp spikes sticking

up from its bottom. There was only one way across that pit. He'd have to swing out over

it ... and hope he didn't end up as a shish kebab.

Then something happened that gave him hope. A panel in the floor started moving back and

forth over the spikes. This might be the break he needed.

Jack waited for the exact right second. Then he pointed his bionic arm upward, pushed a

button, and shot out his grappling hook into the ceiling. THONK! Jack tugged on the rope

hanging down from the hook. The hook held. Then. aiming for the shifting panel, Jack

swung out over the pit.

Halfway across the pit, Jack looked down. Something was wrong, really wrong. The panel

was moving away from him instead of toward him. Beneath his feet, the pit was yawning

wide like the mouth of a famished monster. Only a few more seconds and he would be mincemeat!

CHAPTER 1

Jack Markson stood by the huge window of the Federation penthouse in Buenos Aires.

He looked out at the setting sun, hovering over the rooftops of the city. He hadn't felt

peace like this for months. Not since he'd started the mission against the Nazz.

Jack ran his hand through his short brown hair and thought back to the early hours of

the day. Before sunrise, he and his partner, Super Joe, had burst into the hiding place

of the Nazz terrorist organization.

The surprise raid had netted them every important Nazz leader. Only one thing had slipped through

their hands — the plans for Albatros, a weapon of destruction so powerful that it

could wipe out the world.

Jack turned around as Super Joe came through the penthouse door, carrying four boxes of

hot pizza. He was still wearing his green commando uniform and looked like he needed

a shower -- bad.

"Looks like sunset for the Nazz, huh, Jack?" Joe said, looking out the window.

"Sure does," Jack said. "I'm glad I'm not spending the night in that Argentine jail

with them. It looked pretty grim."

"They're getting what they deserve," Joe said, opening up the pizza and starting to

eat. "And we're getting what we deserve. This stuff is great."

Jack sat down and joined him. Neither one of them had had a chance to eat a day.

Joe put his feet up on a glass table and looked around the room. At the leather furniture,

deep pile carpet, and full wall window.

"This sure beats a lot of places we've stayed in on missions," he said.

"I don't know about that," Jack said. "The prison in Bangkok was real nice. So was that

sewer pipe in Marseilles."

Joe laughed without stopping eating.

Jack let his mind wander back to the other horrible places he and Jack had spent time

in on missions. They went back a long way together.

Ten years ago, they had met in Federation spy school as green recruits. Since then they

had shared a lot of adventure. And a lot of danger. Through it all, Jack had learned to

trust Joe. And there's nothing more important in the spy game than trust.

"How we going to explain to the Captain about Albatros?" Joe asked as he finished

off his pizza.

"The Captain already knows," Jack answered. "I talked to him while you were gone. He's

worried that some other power-hungry madman has gotten hold of the plans."

"You mean Kilt," Joe said grimly.

"Right," Jack said. "Generalissimo Kilt. Federation's top enemy. And the biggest maniac

to ever threaten the free world."

Jack walked back to the window and thought about Kilt and his organization called Badd.

They already had secret compounds established around the world. If they got their hands

on Albatros, they could make a play for world domination.

"What about our next assignment?" Jack asked, thinking about the future. "Think

it might be Kilt?"

Super Joe didn't answer. Jack turned around and saw that Joe was frozen in place. He seemed

to be listening to something.

"What's the mat-" Jack started to ask. Then he sensed it, too. Danger.

"Get down" Super Joe yelled, pulling Jack to the floor.

The agents flattened themselves into the thick carpet. Seconds later, two bullets whizzed

over their heads, smashing a mirror across the room into a million pieces.

"You okay?" Joe asked without raising his head an inch from the carpet.

"Yeah." Jack answered, thinking what a perfect target he had made against the window. "I

guess I owe you one, buddy."

"You owe me two, buddy," Joe said. "Don't forget saved you from that Nazz torture squad

last week."

"Listen, I paid that one back when I saved you from the Nazz thugs the next day," Jack

said. He started to grin in spite of their danger. For years he and Joe had been keeping

count.

Another pair of bullets blasted through the window, whistling by even closer to their

heads.

"Those guys are good," Joe said. "Real good."

Jack knew that things were getting serious. His well-trained commando instincts were going

off like fire alarms. Turning to look at the glass wall of the penthouse, he picked out

four clean holes shot through the window.

"Snipers," he said. "They've been watching us. You think they're alone?"

"No chance," Joe answered. "I've got a gut feeling Kilt is behind this. And I'll bet

our little vacation is over."

Jack surveyed the room. His eyes Spotted a safe place near a wall about twenty feet away.

He wasn't going to stay here on the floor like a sitting duck for Badd's target practice.

"I'm running for cover," Jack yelled. "Now!"

He sprung across the room like a panther, just beating two bullets to a wall opposite

the doorway. Meanwhile, Joe dove behind a heavy brass sculpture.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Joe called out.

"I'm thinking we're going to get visitors soon." Jack answered.

He reached over and flicked off a Switch, killing the lights on the huge chandelier

hanging over the entranceway.

For a long minute, the room was filled with dead silence. Jack felt his muscles tighten

with tension. He didn't like being on the defensive like this. Who knew how many of

Kilt's henchmen might burst through that door? Slowly, Jack pulled his gun from its holster

on his chest.

Seconds later, the door to the penthouse slammed open. Five Ninjas dressed in black from head

to toe jumped inside the room. Jack saw the red eagles embroidered on their jackets. It

was the symbol of Badd. The Ninjas advanced, their sharp-pronged shurikens glinting in

their hands. The sharpened steel throwing star could kill a man in an instant.

From his hiding place, Jack took careful aim at the metal cord that held the glass chandelier

from the ceiling. He fired.

Ten thousand crystals of glass crashed down on the Ninjas' heads. They fell to the floor

unconscious. Their shurikens slid across the polished floor toward Jack and Joe.

"It's Badd all right," Joe yelled to Jack.

"Hey, they may be bad, but we're worse," Jack called back.

There was no time to laugh. Five more Ninjas jumped into the room. They marched over their

fallen comrades, slicing the air with their swords.

Jack's commando instincts told him to use his gun. But his code of honor held him back.

He would never fire a gun against an enemy first. Not even a Badd.

Jack searched the room for another weapon. On the wall behind him he saw a Ninja sword.

Silently, he thanked the Federation decorator and grabbed the sword. Two of the Ninjas sprang

toward him, their swords seeking his blood.

Jack centered his concentration in his sword, following what the Ninja masters at the Federation

school had taught him. Then he slashed at the air in front of him, making the sword

a blur of steel. Both Ninjas drew back in fear.

With graceful power, Jack thrust out his left foot in a karate kick and blasted away the

sword of one Ninja, then stunned him with a chop on the neck.

The other Ninja lunged forward, driving his sword toward Jack's heart. Jack jumped aside

and flipped the Ninja in the air, watching him crumble on the floor.

"Jack!"

It was Joe, calling him from across the room. He turned in time to see Joe heave the brass

sculpture at two of the Ninjas attacking him. They sprawled back and fell, pinned down to

the floor.

Jack started toward Joe to help him finish off the third Ninja. A sound at the door stopped

them all in their tracks.

Ten more Ninjas sprang into the room wearing the red eagle on their black uniforms. They

crouched in attack position like evil statues. Then a figure in black silk and leather Strode

through the door.

His black hair was combed off his low, bulging forehead. His red lips were curled in a sneer.

His cold blue eyes cut like daggers into Jack's face.

It was Kilt.

"Capture them alive," Kilt commanded in a cruel voice.

Five of the Ninjas sprang toward Jack. The other five lunged for Joe. Joe was caught

off guard by the Ninja he was still fighting. He leapt away into the grip of a pair of giant

Ninjas who pinned his arms behind his body. Three others unsheathed their swords and pointed

them at Joe's throat.

A rush of adrenaline coursed through Jack's body as he saw Joe captured. He tried to move

across the room to help Joe. But the five Ninjas coming toward him with their swords

blocked is way.

Stealthily, like a cat, Jack crept toward the huge glass window. An idea was forming

in his mind. A desperate idea, but all that he could think of. He knew he had to escape

and get help for Joe.

Kiit's wicked laugh filled the air and mocked him.

"Give yourself up, Jack Markson," Kilt Sneered. "There's no way out this time. We are going

to take you as our hostages. If the Federation tries to stop our plans, you will die."

Jack looked over at Super Joe, trying to read his thoughts. Joe's eyes told him to escape,

anyway he could.

Kilt ordered the Ninjas to capture Jack. They began to close in around him. One drew out

a shuriken and pointed its sharpened steel spikes at Jack's throat.

Jack looked over at Joe one last time, hoping he would understand. Then Jack sprang toward

the glass wall with a cry like a wild animal. His body shattered the glass and flew through

the huge, gaping hole.

Jack felt the air rush out of his lungs as he spiraled toward the ground twenty floors

below. His mind crept near panic as he thought of the small place he was aiming toward.

Looking up to the penthouse, he saw a Ninja standing at the broken window holding a shuriken

in his hand. The last thing Jack saw was the Ninja's arm, flashing out.

Then all was darkness.

Game hint!

Get the bazooka after you defeat the Albatross in Stage twelve. I don't know if that means

it's hidden somewhere near Albatross,or if you just get a bazooka for beating Stage

Twelve, or even what Albatross is. That's all it says. Get the bazooka after you defeat

the Albatross in Stage Twelve. Hope that helps!

Will jack make it out alive? Will Super Joe survive the torturous capture of Generalisimo

Kilt? And what happened to all of the pizza they were eating?! Tune in next time for the

next thrilling chapter: Chapter Two.

Actually the chapters aren't named. It's just called Chapter 2. But I'll nickname

it, This Better Not Cost Me An Arm And A Leg.

The Easiest Way to Add Your Own Style to Microsoft Word - Duration: 9:29.

- Hi, this is Deborah Savadra

with Legal Office Guru

and in today's video we're going to go into Microsoft Word

and actually demonstrate how to make your own styles.

There a couple of different ways to do this,

one of them's a lot easier than the other one

but if you've decided

that one of the over 200 Microsoft Word styles

just isn't gonna cut it for you

in a particular application,

then this is going to teach you

how to actually create your own styles, so stay tuned.

If we've not met,

I teach lawyers and other legal professionals

how to use Microsoft Office better.

So, I'm going to share my screen now.

I'll just pause for just a moment

and switch over to my screen sharing

and while I'm doing that

if you would let me know

in the comments where you're watching from

and whether you're seeing this live

or whether you're seeing it in replay.

I suspect a lot of you are gonna be seeing it in replay

because it's kind of early

and also whether you've seen the first three videos

in this Style Series.

Okay, so you should be seeing my screen right now.

As I told you,

there are two ways to create a new style

in Microsoft Word,

from scratch which is completely, totally new

or from an example

and doing it from an example

is really the easiest way to do this.

If you can find or create an example

and the formatting you want within your document,

then you can first ask yourself the question

do I wanna replicate character

or paragraph formatting or both?

Now, here's an example of paragraph formatting.

This is actually deposition text.

If you're quoting deposition text

within the context of a pleading or brief,

you probably want to indent it on both sides,

you want to do a hanging indent,

so you've got the Q and A

kind of hanging out here

and the other stuff indented,

so I've got this text formatted

the way that I want it.

I want to select one of these paragraphs,

and then right click,

and choose Styles.

Now, just a note for you

that are still using Microsoft Word 2007 or 2010,

this menu's gonna look a little bit different.

You'll probably see it in here

rather than up here by itself

but just note that the steps are gonna be the same,

that the menu may look a little bit different.

But I'm gonna click on Styles here

and do Create a Style.

Now, you're gonna get a very simple dialog box

where you can name it

and you could always click OK here

but I'm gonna insist

that you actually click that modify button

because there are some settings

that you are probably gonna want to tweak here.

Okay, first of all, I've named it.

If you don't want this style to affect

the font formatting in future documents,

if you don't necessarily want it

to pick up Calibri in a document

that you've got formatted as Times New Roman,

then you're gonna want to change this setting,

you're gonna wanna actually make this a paragraph style type

rather than a linked style type.

That way it's only picking up the paragraph settings,

the indentation, the hanging indent,

the line spacing, the space between etc.

That's all it's going to pick up.

You can always make some other changes

in the formatting in this dialog box,

somewhere in here if it's something fairly straightforward.

If you need to go to a different dialog box,

you can do it here in that Format.

Now, if you want this style

to be available in future documents,

be sure to click this radio button

next to New Documents Based on This Template.

If you want this style to show up

in the Styles Gallery, be sure to make sure

this box here next to Add to the Styles Gallery

is checked and that way it will show up here

in the Styles Gallery.

I generally discourage people

from checking this Automatically Update box

because what that does

is it updates the style

every time you apply

or anyone else applies direct formatting

to text that's styled with this particular style.

That can be devastating to the overall structure

of your document.

That can just introduce some chaos into it

that really unless you're very, very OCD

about the way that you set up your styles.

This to me just introduces too much chaos into the mix.

Also, I forgot to go back over this.

If you want to be able to when you style

a particular paragraph with Depo Text,

and you want to be able to hit enter

and continue in that same style,

you wanna be sure that that style

is listed here, style for following paragraph.

So, that way you could continue entering

in deposition text

and then when you're ready to switch back

to normal or whatever you're using

for your paragraph style, you can do that

instead of having to go back and style

every single paragraph.

If it's going to be a situation in which

you're going to be blocking and copying something

from like a text document

and dropping it into your pleading

and then styling it as Depo Text all in one go,

that may not be necessarily so important

but just be aware of that.

I'll click OK here.

And there's my Deposition Text style.

So, that's an example of how to create

a style from an example

that you already have in your text.

You can also create a style completely from scratch

if you know exactly what you want.

Now, for example, I'm gonna create

a character-based style called Citation.

So, I'm gonna go into Styles area,

this is on the Home tab,

go to the Styles area and click this More dropdown arrow

and go down here to create a style.

Again, I could name it here

but I probably want to tweak some of these settings in here.

Again, I'm gonna choose a style type,

this time I'm going to do character

because all I want to do is italicize the text

and click italics here.

Now, you're probably asking yourself

why would she go to the trouble of doing the style

if all you want to do is italicize?

I was experimenting yesterday

with the possibility of suppressing

spell check within a style.

Wasn't quite able to get it to work

but if I do get it to work,

I may post a video on doing that

but it is supposedly possible

to suppress spell check

within certain parts of your document

based on the style,

haven't gotten it to work yet,

so that was one reason

I wanted to create a character styled called Citation.

Again, if I want to add it to the Styles Gallery,

I'd make sure that that's checked.

If I want to do this in future documents

based on this,

then I make sure I check that radio button

and I can do some other formatting type things in here

if I want to.

By the way, that suppress spell check is here.

Like I said, couldn't get that to work yesterday

when I was doing my practice run.

So, I'm going to click OK

and there's my citation format,

so if I start typing something,

and then I can select that,

and then use Citation.

So, that's it.

That's how you create a new style in Microsoft Word.

So, we're coming in under 13 minutes this morning

but that was a quick and dirty

on how to actually create styles in word.

If you will in the comments below

tell me what sort of styles questions you have,

what kinds of things that maybe you've applied

from some of the earlier lessons in this series

and are maybe having some difficulties with

or some things that you're curious about

whether or not you can actually do

those things within Styles.

Let me know what you have questions about

in the comments

and we will wrap it up here.

Let me go over here and see if

there any questions at the moment and there aren't,

so,

I'm going to wrap it up here.

It was good to see you guys this morning.

Hope this was useful.

If you do have any questions,

be sure to leave those in the comments below

and I'll dip in and see if I can answer those

but have a good Thursday

and I will check you guys next week.
