Youtube daily report w Jan 29 2018

Would you like to be rich at a very young age?

It seems like a good thing, but when we look at child stars and how they often turn out,

perhaps it's not that great.

What about kids born with the most silver of silver spoons?

Again, having too much cash at a young age can sometimes be as much of a curse as it

is a benefit steering you towards happiness and fulfilment.

Forbes tells us that in 2017, there were 2,043 billionaires in the world, collectively amassing

$7.7 trillion dollars.

While these children didn't make a billion, some of them no doubt will come into billions

at some point in life.

One such billionaire is Alexandra Andresen, a Norwegian 19 year old who is said to be

the world's youngest billionaire.

Today we'll look at these rich kids, in this episode of the Infographics Show, Who

Are the Richest Kids in the World?

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

First of all, we should separate kids who actually have money that they can spend, and

kids who are going to come into money later on.

Jennifer, Rory, and Phoebe Gates, the kids belonging to Bill and Melinda, no doubt will

share the spoils of the richest man in the world.

But it's not actually their money to spend right now, and anyway, Bill Gates has said

he won't spoil his kids and will give a large part of his fortune away to charities.

The kids of Larry Ellison, the cofounder of Oracle, reportedly receive $5 allowance a

week, which isn't much when you consider he's worth $59 billion.

So, who are the richest kids who actually have cash on hand and can spend to their heart's

content?

By kids, we mean anyone in their teens or younger.

Let's start with child stars.

One of the richest child stars right now is 19 year old Elle Fanning, the younger sister

of Dakota Fanning.

Dakota is now too old to be on our list.

Elle made a ton of money in her childhood acting in Hollywood movies, with her first

big hit being the blockbuster, Super Eight.

She's said to be worth about $5 million.

The richest of the celebrity kids who earned their own cash is the son of Will Smith, Jaden,

who like his father has had a fairly diverse career.

He's made more than $8 million acting, singing, and even creating his own clothing brand.

This industrial young chap – he's just 19 – even part-owns a spring water company.

Now, Suri Cruise might be worth around $500 million, but she has her dad, Tom, to thank

for that.

Jayden Smith, however, put in the hours.

His sister, Willow, is also said to be worth millions, and she too did it on her own back.

Not to say their famous papa didn't help them get their careers off the ground.

Another notable mention of a rich star still in his teens is Rico Rodriguez.

The Modern Family actor is said to be worth about $7 million.

He is now 19 years old.

But everyone knows these days that if you want to become mega-rich as a kid, acting

isn't the only way to go.

You can become an entrepreneur.

One such entrepreneur is 18 year old Jaylen Bledsoe.

He started Bledsoe Technologies when he was just 12 years old, and now has become well

known as one of America's most forward thinking child prodigies.

According to his website, he started off with $100 and within two years he had 150 contractors

on his payroll.

He's said to be worth about $3.5 million now, but life wasn't easy for this kid.

His parents had him at the young age of 16, and he says life was always full of struggles.

Part of his job now is giving motivational speeches to other budding entrepreneurs.

We should see who is making money from YouTube, as we all enjoy watching YouTube content.

When we looked at 2017's richest YouTube stars, only one of them was still a kid.

The richest was a British man called Daniel Middleton.

He's worth over $16 million, but he's now way past being a kid at 26 years old.

Another person in the top ten was the one and only Jake Paul, who is 20 at time of writing.

You'll know if you watched our clip about him that he is a millionaire many times over.

But the winner in terms of age, and he's pretty special, is only six years old.

He opens presents while being filmed, and in 2017 that earned him over $11 million.

His channel, Ryan ToysReview, is a family run affair in the U.S.

According to an article in The Verge, "The toy industry is paying close attention to

stars like Ryan," and his mother left her job as a science teacher to focus on her son's

gift-opening channel.

We checked out a few lists of entrepreneurs pulling in lots of cash under the age of thirty,

and there were plenty.

But how many of them were under the age of 20?

Not too many.

One such man is 18 year old, pizza-loving Australian, Ben Pasternak.

He's said to be worth millions, and his ecommerce platform Flogg has a value of $2

million.

He dropped out of high school in Sydney and moved to New York, where he now lives a lavish

lifestyle.

He told Fortune in an interview that he intends to build the next Apple.

His friend and sometimes partner, 18 year old Isaiah Turner, joined him in New York

where he too enjoys millions and lives the life of a high-flyer.

When the two were interviewed by The New Yorker in 2017 they sounded just like kids, but had

a derring-do attitude to life, "You're gonna die one day and no one's gonna come

to your funeral," said Ben, and then proceeded to talk about skateboards.

It seems if you are not working in tech or using tech primarily as your way to make money,

then making millions isn't easy.

A few years ago a girl was reportedly doing just that, selling rather colorful flip flops

out of Texas.

That was then, and this girl Madison Robinson had reportedly made over a million in sales

when she was just 15.

Her company, Fish Flops – at least the online store – seems to have closed down now, so

we can't say how she is doing as a nineteen year old.

We found her on Twitter and Facebook and she now seems to be spending much of her time

giving motivational speeches and empowering young people and mostly young women to become

successful entrepreneurs.

Her Twitter intro reads, "I believe in charitable giving, being happy, and helping others.

Act on your creativity."

So, there you go.

These are some of the wealthiest self-made kids on the planet, none of whom were billionaire

babies.

Are there other young self-made millionaires that we failed to mention?

Skeleton Stories to Watch at PyeongChang 2018 | Olympic Winter Games - Duration: 6:07.

Pyeongchang 2018: Stories To Watch.

Ice hockey.

Ice hockey made its debut at the 1920 Summer Olympics,

which were held in Antwerp, Belgium,

during the temperate month of April,

but it has been a Winter Games staple

since the first was held in Chamonix 1924.

A women's tournament was added in Nagano 1998.

Six players a side face off, playing three 20-minute

periods, showcasing dexterity, strength and grace.

In Pyeongchang, there will be a men's tournament

featuring 12 teams divided into three four-team divisions.

Group winners advance to quarterfinals,

as does the second-ranked team with the best record.

Semifinals follow, then the medal games.

A total of six games will determine the medallists.

The women's tournament features

eight teams split into two competition groups.

The top two teams of Group A, loaded with talent,

will jump directly to semifinals.

The next four ranked teams

contest in the quarterfinals first

and then on to the semifinals,

before advancing to the medal finals.

Ice hockey men's events will take place at the

Gangneung Hockey Centre in the region's coastal cluster.

The main arena there will seat 10,000 spectators.

Gangneung will also host curling and speed skating,

both short-track and long-track.

The women's competition will be held crosstown at the

Kwandong Hockey Centre on the site of a university's former

gymnasium, with seating expanded to 6,000 spectators.

When the women reach their semifinal round,

they'll join the men in the Gangneung Hockey Centre.

What team in the National Hockey League actually

copied its nickname from a movie?

The answer later on Pyeongchang 2018: The Stories To Watch.

MEGHAN AGOSTA, CAN

History in the sport could be equalled at Pyeongchang 2018

by Meghan Agosta.

She has won gold with Canada at each of the last three

Olympics, and a fourth would tie the record held by two

others and put her in austere company.

Her 2010 tournament performance was so good,

Meghan was named MVP, amassing 15 points in just five games.

At 18, she was the youngest member of Canada's

team in Turin 2006.

Meghan started on ice as a figure skater

but switched to hockey at the age of six.

In 2014, Meghan took a break from sports to join

the Vancouver Police Department as a probationary constable.

Meghan will turn 31 during Pyeongchang 2018.

Can she run her victories to four straight Olympic golds?

OLYMPIC MEDALS

The all-time medal table of ice hockey - tied for fifth place,

Great Britain and the Czech Republic.

In fourth, Sweden, with two, 11 overall.

Three golds for the US. In second, the Soviet Union.

Canada almost equals all countries on this list with 13.

IS IT THEIR YEAR?

While it's likely the European teams in the women's

tournaments may battle for bronze,

it's also possible that one of those teams could

pull off a surprise,

and the most likely candidates would be Sweden and Finland.

Both have beaten the top teams before

in international contests.

The Swedes at the 2006 Olympics

managed a silver-medal performance.

In Vancouver, Sweden lost in overtime

for the bronze to Finland.

In the 2014 Olympic bronze-medal game,

Sweden's Lady Crowns suffered a 4-3 loss and finished fourth.

Meanwhile, the Finns have won two Olympic bronze medals

and finished fourth place.

Finland was 0 for 20 against Canada at the worlds since 1990

but finally beat Canada in a qualification game.

Finnish goalie Noora Räty feels her team can beat the Canadians

in Pyeongchang because the styles are similar

and defensive in nature. Will it happen?

PAVEL DATSYUK, OAR

A four-time Olympian, 39-year-old Pavel Datsyuk is

still one of the world's most stylish two-way hockey players.

Known for his outstanding

and subtle defence as well as his offensive skills,

Pavel is called the Magic Man for his ability to steal

the puck from opposing players

before they've realised what he's doing.

Pavel won two Stanley Cup titles

with the NHL's Detroit Red Wings,

and in 2017 he led SKA Saint Petersburg to the

championship in the Kontinental Hockey League in Russia.

He was Russia's team captain

during the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.

He might once again for the renamed

Olympic Athletes from Russia.

Did you know since 1998 the National Hockey League allowed

its players to participate in the Olympic Games

and suspended its season?

This allowed some of

the world's greatest hockey players,

from Canada's Wayne Gretzky and Sidney Crosby to

Russia's Alexander Ovechkin, Sweden's Nicklas Lidström

and the Czech Republic's Dominik Hašek

to play on the world's grandest stage.

However, this year the NHL players will not

participate at the Games.

Many nations see this as an opportunity for their team

to jump into history.

TONY GRANATO, USA

Tony Granato has the difficult task of bringing together

a USA men's team in short order.

Tony, who played for the USA Olympic team in Calgary 1988,

is now the head coach after a career behind the bench

in the NHL and now coaching at the University of Wisconsin.

We have a talent-pool level now

that is as deep as it's ever been for USA hockey.

We're looking forward to showing that off.

By the end of the tournament, I'm sure the Americans

and our hockey fans will fall in love with these guys.

Tony will have some Olympic veterans helping

players from college and European teams.

Former NHL captain Brian Gionta

and 2010 silver medallist Ryan Malone are expected to

play in Pyeongchang.

Tony's sister Cammi played on the US team in 1998 that won

ice-hockey gold in the very first

women's Olympic tournament.

Can Tony accomplish behind the bench

what Cammi did on the ice?

HILARY KNIGHT, USA

Cammy Granato's impact on Hilary Knight was

so strong that this US forward not only wears Cammi's old

number 21, Hilary bears a tattoo of the number

on her left arm.

Before she became a two-time Olympic silver medallist,

Hilary dreamed of the Olympics as soon as she started skating.

Her mother supported her and agreed to send Hilary to

one of Cammi Granato's summer camps.

At age 17, Hilary joined Team USA and was still the youngest

player on the 2010 Olympic team at the age of 20.

Hilary set career scoring records at the University

of Wisconsin under head coach Mark Johnson,

the leading scorer for the US Miracle on Ice team that won

the 1980 gold in Lake Placid.

Did you know our answer on what NHL team

took its nickname from a film?

The Mighty Ducks, from 1992,

became the name of the Anaheim franchise just a year later.

The women start the Pyeongchang tournament.

The men begin their round-robin games on the 14th.

On the 17th, the women's quarterfinals,

then the semifinals on the 19th.

Medal games start the 21st.

Two men's semifinals take place the 23rd,

with the medals finals on the 24th and 25th.

The Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang

are set to begin February 9th.

episodes on Olympic Channel.

How To Style & Combine an Overcoat - Gentleman's Gazette - Duration: 13:50.

Welcome back to the Gentleman's Gazette!

In today's video we'll discuss how to style and combine the overcoat so you create dapper

outfits that look the part.

So, basically you just put on your overcoat and you go, right?

Not quite!

An overcoat is an integral part of a classic gentleman's wardrobe but it requires a little

bit of thought about your outfit and the event you're gonna go to as well as the temperature

outside to come up with an outfit that's both functional and stylish.

A great overcoat will accentuate your style.

It will hide all the flaws and just look very debonair.

So how should you choose an overcoat for your outfit?

As a core principle it should ideally contrast other elements in your wardrobe.

So if you have lots of dark elements in your wardrobe such as gloves, hats or pants; I

suggest you go with a lighter overcoat.

Vice versa, if you have more lighter accessories and pants, a darker overcoat is better because

you always want it to contrast.

If you have lots of solids in your wardrobe you can either go with a solid overcoat or

with a patterned overcoat.

If you go for a solid I suggest to go with an interesting texture, maybe a tweed, maybe

a bold weave in a solid color because that makes just all the more useful because you

can combine it with different shades of colors but also more interesting and it provides

a certain amount of contrast from your otherwise solid pants.

Also you want an overcoat that suits the rest of the formality of your wardrobe.

So if you like to go with more casual slacks, maybe go with a shorter overcoat in more brown

tones.

On the other hand if you go to an office and you wear business suits every day, maybe a

darker coat with grey elements, blues or blacks are better for you.

The same is true for overcoat details.

Things like patch pockets, notch lapels or toggle closures as you can find in my duffle

coat are all more casual items.

On the other hand, peak lapels on a double-breasted coat, jetted pockets or flap pockets maybe

an elegant back belt, those are all things more associated with formal garments.

So how do you style certain overcoat colors?

First, let's talk about navy because I think a navy overcoat is perfect as the first overcoat

in your collection because you can wear it with formal outfits.

You can wear it in the evening as well as informal outfits if you choose the right texture

of the fabric.

For example, here you can see me wearing a double-breasted navy overcoat that is made

of a hundred percent boiled wool.

As such it's denser.

It has this wonderful knobby texture which is just interesting than if it was a plain

weave.

As you can see it has a belt so it makes it a little less formal and more casual so I

can wear it with a broader range of outfits and it's double-breasted which means I get

two layers of fabric that keeps me warm.

Here, I combined it with brown corduroys that provide some of the contrast just like the

tan shoes.

My cashmere scarf in a burnt orange and gray herringbone pattern from Fort Belvedere is

also contrasting even though it's not a really bright and loud color.

Rather than going with boring black gloves, I went with a petrol blue pair from Fort Belvedere

which is lined with cashmere.

I could have also opted for a gray pair which would look like wise as dapper and it would

have picked up the color in my scarf.

That way you tie in the entire outfit together.

Overall, I could have topped it off with a hat, either a navy one or even a brown one

that would go with my pants but it would have created a nice contrast with interesting visual

points such as my scarf, my gloves, and my overcoat.

Everything works together but the individual items stand out in a stylish way.

So let's say you don't wear suits to the office.

A great first overcoat would be one in a solid tan color such as the one I'm wearing here

right now or in a different color.

In terms of color, they go with any winter color and in general with almost any color

out there.

For example, here you can see me wearing a British warm overcoat which is a very heavy

wool fleece coat.

It has brown contrasting leather buttons.

It has epaulettes, peak lapels and it's just everything that is designed to keep you very

warm at the same time stylish.

As you can see, I'm pairing it with a brown fedora hat as well as cognac colored cashmere

lined leather gloves from Fort Belvedere.

The scarf is likewise from Fort Belvedere and is made out of a blend of silk and wool

which makes it softer than just plain wool and it's in green and red which is different

than the hat but at the same time it's a winter color so it all works together.

Alternatively, you can opt for a more formal tan coat such as this military inspired overcoat.

It has an Ulster collar.

It has gold buttons, epaulettes and it's cut more like a body coat such as a morning coat

or an evening tailcoat.

You can see that by the seams in the back.

It also has a half belt in the back which is quite decorative yet it's not as informal

as a full belt.

If you note it, it also has interesting details such as a flap chest pockets and angled flap

front side pockets.

As you can see, I paired it with dark brown contrasting corduroy pants, brown shoes, as

well as a burnt orange and grey scarf and chamois yellow HydroPeccary gloves from Fort

Belvedere.

It's just a very elegant color.

Yes, it's bold but with the tan it works quite well and the gloves are perfect for winter

because they are lined with cashmere and they don't get wet because they have this treatment

that is really really water repellent.

So no matter if you have to scratch the ice of your car or shovel the snow, these gloves

are great.

I topped it all off with a brown fedora hat to provide somewhat of a contrast.

Now, apart from solid overcoats some of the most popular ones out there are herringbone

overcoats.

Herringbone is a very classic menswear pattern.

It's timeless but for overcoats you want to make sure that it's over scaled and large,

unlike with suits or sport coats where it can be smaller.

particularly like these overcoats like the Donegal tweed which means it has a rougher

texture made out of a hundred percent wool with contrasting coloured flecks.

For example, here you see a brown herringbone Donegal tweed overcoat but it has flecks in

blue, green, yellow, pink and orange.

It just lightens the entire outfit.

It also means it's very easy to combine with any kind of other colors in your accessories

as well as your pants because it's already part of the overcoat and so it ties everything

together.

For example, the yellow flecks are picked up by the chamois yellow gloves from Fort

Belvedere.

The blue flecks are picked up by my blue and gray scarf.

The brown tones are picked up by my brown and gray velour fedora.

And overall the overcoat has quite some interesting details.

It has some cuffs.

It has a seam on the outside of the sleeve which is also very dapper and very classic.

It has a back belt, patch pockets, it's double-breasted but it has also peak lapels to make it a little

more formal.

Of course if you're not a friend of all those really colorful flecks, you can also go with

something a little more subdued such as this overcoat.

It has an even larger scale herringbone pattern but the flecks are more like tan, yellow,

orange and brown and are therefore more subdued.

Because of that I could have worn them with any kind of brown or tan glove.

Personally I chose to go with a burgundy glove because it's a touchscreen glove and it's

exactly what you want when it's really cold outside so you don't have to take them off

when you want to check something on your phone.

Obviously the belt on the coat makes a little more casual and the mustard color and grey

herringbone cashmere scarf from Fort Beveledere picks up the yellow flecks in the coat.

Overall the scarf is contrasting but it's tied together by those individual flecks.

That's why this combination works so well.

The same is true for the hat.

It has combinations of black and brown which you can find in the overcoat as well as in

the pants and the shoes.

Because of that, it's a very harmonious outfit that provides lots of contrast but it's very

pleasing to the eye and the viewer.

If you're more at home in a traditional white-collar environment you want to invest in an overcoat

that's either gray or charcoal or something that combines all those colors.

For example, the overcoat I'm wearing here right now consists of a really nice wool fabric

with an interesting weave that contains tones of grey, charcoal, black and blue.

Because of that, you can wear this overcoat with any kind of business suit.

Whether it's light grey or charcoal.

Black would even work as well as Navy or blue and it's just fantastic to have just one overcoat

that works with every kind of suit you have.

To make it visually more appealing, a contrast velvet collar in black was added which goes

really well with the overall Paletot style which is double-breasted in this case.

It's very easy to combine and in this case I chose a red and blue pattern wool silk scarf

from Fort Belvedere with petrol blue gloves.

The hat is likewise dark and picks up colors of the overcoats and so are the boots.

Overall, if I had to get just one business overcoat it would be this one simply because

of the versatility of the fabric.

Now, how do you style bolder colored overcoats?

First of all let me say I don't think it's a wise idea to invest in a really bold overcoat

in yellow, red or maybe green early on because it's just a very narrow field where you can

wear it and the cost per wear will be quite high.

It's also quite a statement piece and because of that I think it's only suited to someone

who really knows what they're doing and who has an advance closets where all the basics

are already covered.

That being said, if you end up with a bold overcoat such as this green duffle coat make

sure to tone down the rest of your outfit.

For example, my scarf has subtle brown tones.

Same with my cognac gloves which are likewise not loud and bold but very classic.

They work well with my dark brown pants as well as my boots.

Now overcoats are not cheap and most men have just one or two.

In order to not keep it boring and to create different looks, I suggest really pay attention

to your accessories.

First of all, if your lapel is wide enough and it features a buttonhole you may want

to consider a boutonniere.

During the winter season, a real boutonniere is hard to find and because of that we created

silk flowers from Fort Belvedere which you can find in our shop here.

Typically during the winter season I don't wear them on my jackets because they would

be squished by my overcoat.

So you wear them in your overcoat and when you hang it up, you can exchange it, put it

on your suit, wear it around and then transfer it again when you go back home.

That way you're stylish in your suit, in your overcoat, you don't squish the flower and

everything is dapper.

When it comes to scarves, I suggest not to wear solid scarves with solid overcoats.

Always try to go with some other pattern whether it's a stripe, a classic herringbone or some

other printed patterns.

If you have a patterned overcoat, you can also wear a patterned scarf just make sure

the scales are different.

For example, with a bolder overcoat you can get a finer pattern in your scarf and vice

versa.

When it comes to hats, bear in mind that an overcoat is a traditional classic garment

that's meant to make you look elegant.

Because of that, you should go with more formal choices.

So skip the baseball hat or a self knitted hats and opt for a stylish Fedora with your

business overcoat maybe something like a flat cap or a newsboy cap for your more casual

overcoats and that will just create an overall look that is very debonair.

Just like with scarves, when it comes to your gloves you want something that's contrasting.

I've always been a big opponent of black gloves because not only do they look boring but they

also oftentimes like the desired contrast and it's not something an elegant gentleman

would have worn a hundred years ago.

Instead, stylish men back then and today would wear different colors such as a grey which

is much better than black because it's likewise formal but you can wear it with the blue suit,

you can wear it with a charcoal suit and it will always contrast.

If you live in a warmer climate, you can also go with unlined gloves or even driving gloves

for regular wear because they keep your fingers warm without making you overheat.

For a selection of high quality gloves made of different leathers such as peccary and

lamb nappa, lined or unlined in different colors with button closures, please check

out our shop here.

In today's video, I'm wearing a light to medium weight overcoat which is better suited to

not super cold climates.

Because of that, I'm combining them with dark green driving gloves from Fort Belvedere which

are unlined and a flat cap which picks up those green colors.

My scarf is a black watch tartan scarf likewise from Fort Belvedere.

It's a very classic tartan made of black, navy and green and so it picks up the green

tones in my gloves and in my hat.

The scarf I'm wearing is called black watch tartan and it's a very traditional well known

tartan consisting of dark green, blue and black.

The slacks I'm wearing are part of a brown pin dot suit.

They are not too heavy and so I'm wearing it with a pair of tan boots which contrast

the pants and work quite well with the overcoat.

They're double soled but just leather lined because it's a pair of boots for not very

cold climates.

SHOCKING Upsets for Seoul, New York & London as Dallas Fuel signs AKM [Overwatch League News] - Duration: 11:58.

SHOCKING Upsets for Seoul, New York and London - Dallas Fuel sign star player AKM and The

BATTLE for Los Angeles [Overwatch League News & Highlights]

HOOK

[9000 IQ Tracer Birdring Play]

This week in the Overwatch League we've had some shocking upsets as all of the top

teams in take a tumble.

The Valiant went to war with the Gladiators in the battle for LA and the Dallas Fuel prepare

to sign star DPS player AKM.

We've got all the latest news and all the best highlights from the past week.

[Crazy Sniping]

HEADLINES

The biggest story of the week started on Thursday as the Boston Uprising took on the London

Spitfires.

Boston were massive underdogs with the Spitfire coming into the match 5 and 0, however the

Uprising are one of the hardest working teams in the league and clearly they did their homework

on London as they were able to counter many of Spitfire's tried and tested strategies.

[CLIP]

London didn't go down without a fight however as every map saw intense battles, Bdosin in

particular had another great week on Zenyatta.

[CLIP]

However Boston knew exactly what London would do on each map and had a plan to deal with

it.

Huge credit to their coaching staff who created a plan of attack that allowed this middle

of the league team to be the first to topple one of the undefeated squads and prove that

these top all Korean lineups can be defeated.

[CLIP]

However the upsets for the day were far from over as in the next match the Philadelphia

Fusion took on the New York Excelsior.

Once again New York was an undefeated team going into this match but Philadelphia were

up to the challenge.

[CLIP]

The Fusions approach was quite different to Boston's, while im sure they did their homework

as well they seemed less obvious in their countering and set plays, and more focused

on using their tanks and supports to really allow their DPS duo of Carpe and Shadowburn

to have plenty of space to work with.

[CLIP]

Shadowburn's Genji was a force to be reckoned with and Carpe on Widowmaker was able to shut

down New York numerous times, both of them happily matching star players like Pine, Libero

and Saebyeolbe with ease.

[CLIP]

In the end Fusion took the series 3 games to 2 but then on Friday it was New York's

opportunity to turn things around as they took on the only remaining undefeated team,

the Seoul Dynasty.

[CLIP]

This was a battle between the 2 top ranked teams in the league and both sides played

extraordinary games.

Felta on Widowmaker is a joy to watch as always and the match on Horizon was a particular

stand out.

[CLIP]

Throughout the games Seoul constantly managed to take objectives during overtime and fight

tooth and nail but in the end New York were victorious and as a result there are now no

undefeated teams left in the league.

[CLIP]

I think this week really showed that no team is unbeatable and while there is something

to be said about London and New York perhaps not taking Boston and Philadelphia seriously

enough I don't think anything can be taken away from what those teams did this week.

On paper they were completely outgunned but because they put in the work and researched

their opponents they were able to take the win.

[CLIP]

We also saw Dallas Fuel finally get a win as they start to stabilize their roster.

All week they ran an Anti Dive composition that allowed most of them to choose heroes

they are very comfortable on.

It also doesn't require highly focused communication, something we know they have had an issue with

and as a result their comm's sounded much cleaner this week.

[CLIP]

However while this strategy was enough to take a win over the Shock it wasn't enough

to upset the Boston Uprising who beat them 3 games to 2.

Match of the Week

Choosing the best match of the week is almost impossible, but seeing as we already talked

about the 3 top teams being defeated I'm going to give it to the battle for Los Angeles where

the Valiant took on the Gladiators.

[CLIP]

Going into this week this is probably the match I was most excited about.

The Valiant were favourites but it was the Gladiators who harnessed the power of the

underdog as they won the first 2 games with some great defensive rounds and fantastic

use of the Quad Tank Moira strategy on Horizon.

[CLIP]

Going into the control map the Gladiators were just one win from victory and it really

did come down to the wire as the Valiant won round one thanks to Soon's great Widowmaker

play but the Gladiators struck back in round 2 thanks to Hydration's fantastic Pharah.

[CLIP]

With everything on the line in the final round it went to 99% each before the Valiant managed

to steal away the victory and keep themselves in the match.

Then map 4 took them to Junkertown where after some intense and scrappy fighting the Valiant

took away the win.

[CLIP]

With both teams on the brink of victory they went to a tiebreaker on Lijiang Tower where

the Valiant were able to complete the absolutely ridiculous reverse sweep finishing up the

whole series 3 games to 2.

[CLIP]

Signings

We've now entered the signing phase of the League where teams are allowed to sign new

players who will be able to start playing for them in Stage 2.

Only one signing has been confirmed to be in final negotiations so far but it's a big

one, and that was Dallas Fuel picking up AKM.

AKM is a top tier hitscan specialist whos most well known for his Soldier 76 on the

team Rogue.

[CLIP]

Adding him to the roster give them play three great hitscan players in Effect, Taimou and

AKM, and also offers some insurance to deal with player illness.

AKM previously stated he only wanted to join a team where he would be in the core lineup

and not on the bench, and unless this has changed it most likely leaves Seagull on the

bench more often and being used mainly for neich situations where his Junkrat or perhaps

Pharah is optimal.

Where it leaves Taimou is more worrying as he was already warming the bench and focused

on coaching Mickie on his Roadhog play.

Perhaps we'll see him in action on Roadhog if triple or Quad tank becomes meta again,

but with EFFECT and now AKM on the roster it doesn't look like he will be needed for

a DPS role very often which is a real shame.

The Shanghai dragons have also announced that they are looking to hire more players with

some reports suggesting up to 4.

The Florida Mayhem will also almost certainly be looking to pick up some new additions.

There are plenty of other top tier players still up for grabs and we will keep you up

to date with any signings or player trades but for now let's catch up on all the action

from the past week.

CATCH UP

On day 1 things went much as we would expect with London and Seoul defeating San Francisco

and Shanghai, however Shanghai taking a map from Seoul was unexpected and a much needed

moral boost for the team.

[CLIP]

London also continued to struggle on Oasis dropping that map once again.

During this match London's Profit threw out a quick gesture to his teammates watching

in the dugout that unfortunately for him also got broadcast on the live feed and landed

him with a $1000 Dollar fine.

Then the day wrapped up with our Match of the Week between the 2 LA teams.

[CLIP]

On day 2 we had our two big upsets and then the Outlaws claimed their 3rd 4 map win in

a row, this time over the Florida Mayhem.

[CLIP]

Day 3 included New York beating Seoul as well as Shanghai putting in a competitive performance

against Philadelphia.

[CLIP]

This was also a big day for Dallas as they finally got a win against their name with

a 3 - 0 victory over the Sanfrancisco Shock.

[CLIP]

On day 4 however they couldn't adjust enough to defeat the superiour Boston Uprising who

took their second victory of the week.

Later the Valiant defeating Mayhem came as no major surprise but the final match of the

week between the LA Gladiators and Houston Outlaws did upset the pundits predictions.

[CLIP]

This was the Outlaws first real test since they started their winning streak last week,

their 3 previous games had been against the 3 bottom teams in the league but against the

Gladiators they were predicted to have a close game, however the Outlaws dominated the match

thanks in no small part to Linkzr who continues to impress as their hitscan DPS.

STANDINGS

So as the week wraps up the top of the league looks much the same with Seoul sitting pretty

at the top of the Pacific Division and New York and London still jockeying for pole position

in the Atlantic.

Sitting just below them Houston, the LA Valiant and Philadelphia Fusion are battling to stay

in the top 6 with all these teams putting in great performances.

However Boston are close on their tale and with a great performance this week it will

be interesting to see if they can carry that momentum into next week and claim one of the

top 6 spots.

PREVIEW

Looking forward to next week we have more exciting games as the LA Valiant kick things

off against the Philadelphia Fusion, an important match for both teams to keep themselves in

the top half of

the rankings.

4 Things Quite People Should Ask Themselves When Things Getting Hard - Duration: 3:09.

4 Things Quite People Should Ask Themselves When Things Getting Hard

Quiet people, or introverted people should not stay at home, daydreaming about their

future, and planning what they will do in the future all the time.

In order to achieve all that dream, they also need to act on something they are passionate

about, or just to survive and live on.

Upon socializing and so many interaction, it's to be expected for introverts to feel

exhausted and drained.

Well, Every introverts have different level of exhaustion and the amount of alone time

they need to recharge, also how much social energy they can spend to socialize everyday

before needing their alone time again.

The next time you are finding your energy level stretched thin, probably it will be

helpful to ask a few simple questions to yourself so you can control your activity for the next

days.

#1 - Times to socialize

What is the ideal frequency to socialize?

While this question is fairly easy, there is actually no exact answer.

You need to figure out the answer by yourself.

How?

Through experiment.

You need to count how long you are in a public setting without being exhausted.

Once you do, you definitely can make other people happy by joining them without exhausting

yourself.

#2 - What is considered as socializing?

For quite people, it means going with a large group of people and go for extreme activities.

Introverts absolutely have different thoughts about it.

Socializing can be considered as going out around the public places such as park, museum,

theater, or anything with or without friend.

You decide which one is considered as socialization and you need to set the frequency of having

socialization throughout your life.

Otherwise, you may be missing the joy of the world.

#3 - Am I eliminating social distraction?

Different introversion requires different treatment.

Sometimes, completing all social distraction that comes through some channels such as phone,

internet, or text message make you feel drained even though you do not have physical interaction.

This question is important to ask because it determines how intense you are in interacting

within a given week.

#4 - What is the purpose of socialization

The last question you need to address is the purpose of socialization.

If it is only for obligation, you probably miss the important part of socialization.

You need to find the real meaning of every single interaction you made with others, be

it to understand people more or be it for practical purposes.

All in all, that's the 4 things quite people should ask themselves when things getting

hard.

Really cool information isn't it?

2017 HIGHLIGHTS - Checkpoint #3 - Duration: 18:31.

Hi everyone!

We meet again – as we said – for the first video of the year

In this video, we will take time to come back to everything that we've done

during the year 2017, chronologically from the beginning to the end

We will come back to the music videos, to the album, to the various places where we have played

We will obviously tell you what we are currently developing

What our projects are; including this format but we will get back to that later

And what we plan to do this year

No more waiting, let's go!

[What Are We Talkin' About ?]

So, 2017!

2017 started very quickly: in January we decided to shoot

our first music video, Don't Wanna, which announced the release of the album

This video was fun, we had an absolute blast writing it, partly directing it

That was a great pleasure… although it was a pain as well because it was super hard

with the very little means that we had to be coherent in our very complex story

And by the way I beleive a lot of you people didn't really understand the video

I feel like lifting the veil! So it gives you an occasion to watch it agin

So Don't Wanna is a song that speaks about the circle of virtue in which one enters when one

forgives in opposition to the circle of vice in which one enters when one holds grudges

Say that's beautiful!

You will not have missed that I represent Vins's conscience,

that I'm not really in the story

We notice that quite quickly, because of my clothes for starters

that are just a light jacket while he's in a thick coat and it's winter

(It was about -1 or -2 outside… crazy stuff!)

So the idea is that Vins, at the beginning of the video, is very angry

We see that in the way he gets up, in the way he spills the glass of orange juice

he's in a hurry, he is… he's not doing so well!

This apparition of his conscience that I represent, we don't really know what it does here

but what's for sure is that by choosing to ignore it, only catastrophes happen to him

Particularly the car accident there is roughly in the middle of the video

So eventually he decides to listen to that conscience, and what happens to him

is that he realises that if this person whose image he sees hurt him and if he's mad

it's merely because they themselves is in pain

And I think that's a truth, I think there is almost no-one in this world

who is mean just to be mean

When we hurt others it's because we hurt inside

And that is depicted by the usage or drugs; we can see me at the end of the video ODing on the couch

I'd like to say that I wasn't really ODing, that wasn't really heroin,

that was a mix of Coke and water for those who would like to pretend

they're high on heroin sometimes, we never know…

Eventually he decides to listen to his conscience and decides to put his hard feelings aside and forgive

and to come save me, so that things go well for ma and for him

At the beginning of the video the story begins once again

He believes things haven't really happened and it was all just a bad dream

but there are still some clues that prove it has kind of happened

That's a way to show this vicious circle

and that when one enters such negative dynamics, not everything goes wrong at once,

there are warning signals; and that was the warning signal

that pseudo-accident that doesn't really happen though

And eventually, instead of restraining himself inside this loop, he decides to break it

listening to his conscience and coming to save me

So that was Don't Wanna's music video

That was a bit complicated, but we're pretty glad of what we have done with it

Then in March or April, we shot the second music video, Checkmate

After Don't Wanna's pain-in-the-ass shooting – because we've got to say, shooting Don't Wanna was

as much a pain as it was fun, there were so many shots, it was hard to follow the plot

with rigour – we tried something else with Checkmate

We worked a lot less… but we gave a lot more to the director

In concrete terms, we shot it with a green background here in the studio

Well, with green curtains because we forgot the green background that day

There has been a huge post-production job from Arnaud who directed the video for us

Because imagine that we simply played guitar

on high chairs in front of green curtains and then

all the animation of the chess board was post-production

That was a gamble but we are exploring different horizons

I don't know what you guys liked more, you can tell us

if liked the short-film story-like ambiance from Don't Wanna better

or rather the more visual ambiance from Checkmate, please tell us

So Checkmate was released, I believe early May, just after the release of the album

That was THE big event of the year 2017 and l would even say

The big event of our lives because it's the first album we ever release

That was a lot of work: we started writing the songs many years ago

and recording them during the summer 2016; and since we recorded them all by ourselves

in this very studio, there was so many things to learn, it was a bit harsh

We had to record several times some of the tracks to get a good result

We're pretty glad with the ultimate result because that was really not easy

The outcome may not me 100% professional, but good enough according to us

to be presented and by the way that's why we chose to release it

and show it to you, then make a CD pressing, that was a lot of work as well

having to design the package and everything, but that was pretty fun

So that was the biggest part, it was out on April 30

And around that we made several shows and I will speak about that now cos that was cool

I believe just the day before, we played at the Théâtre du Luxembourg in Meaux

I think that to this day, it's pretty safe to say that

it's the most beautiful venue in which we have performed

because it was a gigantic stage, it's such a great memory

Around that time we also played at the Batofar, that was quite nice

We played at l'Etage as well, the first out of 3 because we went back there several times during the year

Lots of people amongst you came to support

and that was definitely great, it made us really happy

So, April 30 was the release of the album and in May or June

We shot both Solstice and Don't Let Down videos

in almost just one week

Solstice then, is the eponymous song… for the band so it makes sense

we really wanted to release it on the day of the solstice, so we did on June 21

For the record that one was really relaxing, we invited some friends, the weather was great

And shortly after we went to London to shoot the video for Don't Let Me Down,

the cover of The Beatles; for those who didn't know by the, it's originally from The Beatles

and it's a funky cover of it

That was a tough one! Because we went by car, we left on Saturday morning and came back on Sunday evening

and it's about 8 hours of driving to go to London, as well as to come back obviously

So in a way that video just shows our 24-hour trip to London

So that was everything that went on until the summer

And during the summer, you probably didn't miss that we went to La Rochelle

That too was an important part! Firstly because we went there with no idea

if we would be able to play, where we would be able to play, and I'll say that too

we went there with no idea where we would sleep

And it turns out on the first evening we had to sleep in a park

It lasted a week, it was super beautiful, super nice

And the people since they were on holidays really enjoyed our music

We sold, if my memory is correct, 58 albums in one week

It gave us a nice moral boost, to realise that

we could go anywhere with very primary conditions seek people

we absolutely didn't know, had never met

and seeing they could enjoy what we did that much

That was very pleasing, and it was the first time we had decided just to take our guitar

our pedalboard and our amp and just go busk

Which we sure did after that, because starting September,

even though we had had the authorisation a few month before, we went in the underground!

The underground is as educational as it is frustrating

Because it is for people who are just really passing through, we are not anymore

in the same case as La Rochelle where the people were on vacation

They see musicians in the old port, the view is beautiful,

They are in no hurry, they stay and take the time to listen

Here in the underground, you know what it's like, everything goes so fast, people are just passing through on their way back from work

It's still nice because we somehow manage to attract some people's attention

but at the same time I would qualify it as a little unrewarding

We are there, we are playing, for several hours and at times we feel like

we are playing for nothing and at the same time it's very educational for us

because we have played during hours and hours, we made a lot of progress

So obviously we will definitely keep on playing there all along the upcoming year

We are holding back a bit right now because the temperature makes things a little hard

We went there by 0°C once, and it's the last time we did until today

so we will let you guys figure out the connection

I think we actually became aware of the potential for this sort of mobile music

because ultimately, it's the only way it makes sense to play any music

Just go out and play!

We think it's the only way we will be able to keep playing and go further

Just by going out there meeting people, playing in the streets, in the underground

anywhere, I don't know, on a boat…

It's something on which we are clearly going to insist in the future

In November, as we were peacefully playing in the underground

Someone came to see us and explained about his association which is called

Cool, Mon Bus Arrive (Cool, My Bus is Coming), you may have heard us mention it already

because we have once or twice during the month of December

Cool, Mon Bus Arrive, we suggest that you go visit their website

Long story short, it's an association that will implement a system of free bus riding inside Paris

inside which there will be sort of an ''art exhibition''

I believe what they want to do is put many paintings or drawings

Pictural arts anyways, kind of like a private viewing or a regular exhibition

and then arrange a stage at the bottom of the buses where the musicians like us could play

And so that the people no longer have to have the initiative of actively going to discover

new artists but on the contrary, it would be the new artists who would be rolling

and moving to come meet people directly in their daily life

We like the concept right away, so we chose to act as 'sponsors' for them

It's an association which primary goal is to have buses move around Paris for free

but in reality that would be the first contact with the artists, and the goal is also

to organise bigger events, rent venues to have concerts in them

rent venues to host exhibitions on a larger scale

but that first contact with the artists would be while wandering in the bus

Since we volunteered to sponsor this association, there is a strong probability that we will -

And actually I think it's already planned for this year - do some concerts with them in venues

And then again we strongly recommend you to come because there will be a lot of other artists

We are obviously not the only artists getting involved in this organisation

It will be cool, hence the title, it will be cool because the bus is coming

What I'm saying right now makes absolutely no sense!

So here it is for the year 2017! That part is done!

It was a bit long because we discussed each event, month after month,

and now we will focus a little more on what we are currently building

As we briefly evoked in the former video

We have got - Vins will come show you

We have got a controller keyboard

That's a controller keyboard, it possesses 25 keys with pads, linked to a computer

And the computer is the one determining the sounds that will come out

I'm going to put this on to show you what it sounds like

So we can have drum sounds

And let's be honest, that's definitely dope!

We also have bass sounds

We've got classic piano sounds

There are other modern sounds, hear that for example

That's a sound widely utilised nowadays and we like it very much, kalimbas

Those are just random examples

This keyboard in linked to Vins's loop pedal

I remind you the loop pedal is a thing that he controls with his foot and allows him to record

what we play and sing and have it looped so that we can

add some layers onto one another and build the instrumental, reaching depth in what we play

Up until now we only did it with an acoustic guitar, that was nice

It has its inherent charm as well, it's not something we plan to abandon

We hit the guitar to have lower-pitched sounds such as a drum beat

But with this keyboard the outcome is deeper, with much more bass

and we thought that when we will be on stage

Acoustic guitar is nice when we are mobile, when we were in La Rochelle or in the underground

but when we are on stage, it's a lot nicer to have something more evolved

So here's a proposition for you, we are going to play a song!

So let's go, we will use the keyboard, Vins will come pick up the guitar, and we will play for you

[Loop 65]

So here is what it sounds like, that was Loop 65 with this new setting

It was just a teaser, but the whole video is available

so do not hesitate to go watch and share it

It's really something we feel like establishing regularly during the rest of the year

It's a different way of playing songs we have already played over and over again

It will require to adapt to new instruments

To learn some bass because we will incorporate real bass in the near future

To learn things on the keyboard, and mostly it will allow when it's just the 2 of us

We are often accompanied by a drummer and a bassist, those who came to see us live know it

But sometimes it's just the 2 of us and it will give our music a body

as imposing as when we are in a more sophisticated ensemble

We are finally there! What we plan to do this year 2018, is to come back on a regular basis

with this VLOG format where we tell what happened, what we have planned, what we will do, etc.

and we will constantly associate it with a song we want to play

May it be a a song of ours, a cover, maybe some new stuff

Please tell us if you like this because we want to do it regularly

if you have things to say, to improve, let us know

And share these videos on your social media accounts if you enjoy them

Something else that will naturally be of importance for this year 2018

is to go busk again with our acoustic guitar and amp as we have already done

in the underground mostly as soon as the temperature will have warmed up a bit

We will go back down those underground corridors

And of course it goes without saying for every musician, what we expect the most is to have lots of shows

So we are currently trying to set this up

We are trying to anticipate our summer, that is how things go when you are musician

During the winter you organise the summer

So we would like to have shows, shows, and more shows

We hope we will be able to land some festivals!

By the way if you know any people who work in festivals or in venues

Really don't hesitate to say it, it's important to us

if you have the ability to connect us so that we ask for a programmation

That's all for today, we hope you will have enjoyed this new format

we are putting in motion

Once again we are waiting for your feedback and hope you will share these videos

Remember to watch the video for Loop 65 that we did with these new instruments, especially the keyboard

And, we'll you soon?

Bye bye!

SHOCK Ronda Rousey WWE DEBUT! | WWE Royal Rumble 2018 Review - Duration: 6:26.

Ronda Rousey joins WWE! Rey Mysterio returns!

And Asuka and Nakamura win the Rumble matches!

Vince McMahon is turning Japanese, I think he's turning Japanese, I really think so.

I'm Oli Davis, and this the WWE Royal Rumble 2018...in about 7 hours.

Pre-Rumble The pre-show was made up of Kalisto, Gran

Metalik and Lince Dorado beating Drew Gulak, Jack Gallagher and TJP - with the luchadors

being typically impressive; The Revival targeting Karl Anderson's left leg to beat the Balor

Club; and Mojo Rawley answering and losing Bobby Roode's US title Open Challenge.

The pre-show's best moments, though, were Jason Jordan and Chad Gable tensely running

into each other backstage, and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn making fun of the social media

lounge.

But nobody cares about any of that stuff.

Because it's now time to get more Rumble than ever!

AJ Styles beat Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens 2.5* A raucous Philadelphia crowd opened the main

card, which started with AJ Styles just overcoming Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Styles was phenomenal as always, pinning KO in the end, but nothing much separated this

from your weekly Smackdown main event.

Owens, however, wasn't the legal man - furthering the Smackdown main event storyline.

The Usos beat Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin - 2.5*

Carrying on the weekly Smackdown episode feel, we then got an underwhelming Usos vs Chad

Gable and Shelton Benjamin match!

Their 2-out-of-3 falls encounter had the chance to steal the show, given the talent and chemistry

of those involved, but The Usos winning with a clean sweep cut the match short.

Men's Royal Rumble Match - 4.5* WWE more than made up for it, though, with

by far the match of the night, and quite possibly one of the better Rumbles they've ever put

on - with Jerry 'The King' Lawler being the first entrant to the commentator's Rumble

match.

Please eliminate Michael Cole.

The men's match began with arguably the most over wrestler of the night, Rusev.

And then came out someone else who's pretty over, Finn Balor - who would put on the match's

ironman performance.

Entries came thick and fast - a brilliantly comedic Heath Slater, a great showing from

NXT Champion Andrade 'Cien' Almas.

Kofi Kingston standing on a plate of pancakes to avoid elimination.

John Cena coming in at number 20 to be beaten up by the generation of wrestlers replacing

him.

The Hurricane Shane Helms returning for a wonderful nostalgia spot.

An Adam Cole NXT cameo, still battered from the night before.

And Rey Mysterio returning to WWE… wisely not at No. 30 this time.

The only sour notes were Roman Reigns eliminating Seth Rollins like missing out on a WrestleMania

main event title shot is all just friendly banter.

And Dolph Ziggler coming back at No. 30 to do absolutely nothing.

The final six, though, was a beautifully told story of the new school of Reigns, Balor and

Nakamura facing off against the old guard of Cena, Orton and Mysterio.

Eventually, it came down to Nakamura and Reigns - WWE playing the Philly crowd perfectly,

who were incredibly behind Shinsuke, and very much against Roman.

And then, in a rare case of a rising star winning the Rumble, Nakamura eliminated Reigns

for the right to point at the WrestleMania sign.

And who will he face at WWE's biggest show of the year?

AJ Styles, a rematch of the WrestleKingdom 10 classic from 2016.

A fantastic Rumble match, and one that should've arguably closed the show.

Because the next two matches greatly suffered from a worn out crowd.

The Bar beat Champions Club - 2* While the story of Jason Jordan selling a

concussion on the outside was kind of interesting, this match was booked to die following such

a terrific Rumble.

The Bar isolated Seth Rollins for a way too long match, and won to become the new tag

team champions.

Brock Lesnar beat Kane & Braun Strowman - 2* Apart from a few fun spots, including Braun

Strowman's battering ram drop kick, and Brock Lesnar momentarily forgetting this isn't

the UFC, this match never fully connected.

Weirdly, it was the type of big spot monster mash Lesnar and Strowman should've had at

No Mercy, but Kane's presence dragged the match quality down, mostly because everyone

figured out he was taking the pin about three weeks ago.

Women's Royal Rumble - 3* Stephanie McMahon won't tell you this, said

Michael Cole on commentary during her entrance, but she really is one of the trailblazers

for women's wrestling, ending global poverty and world peace.

Thing is, Michael Cole - this is a show ultimately scripted by McMahons.

So Stephanie in some way did tell us this… and then not much else, being a rather fumbling,

irritating voice on commentary.

The women's Rumble itself though was really fun - from the NXT cameos of Kairi Sane and

Ember Moon (who had the match's best moment with her Asuka brawl), and the surprise Royal

Rumble entry of every woman who ever wrestled.

Lita, Torrie Wilson, who should've won, Molly Holly, Michelle McCool - who now holds

the record for most women's Rumble eliminations ever - Beth Phoenix, Vickie Guerrero, Kelly

Kelly, Jacqueline, the Bella Twins and Trish Stratus.

Which is a lot of nostalgia pops (11 in total), the majority of whom went toe-to-toe with

the current active roster, despite not wrestling for many years.

I know wrestling allows for this sort of stuff, with The Rock and Goldberg being kayfabe just

as good as in their prime, but those are just one at a time comebacks.

This was 11 at a time, and while it was really fun, it made the Women's Rumble feel like

a gimmick match, a nostalgia Rumble, which was a very different, not as momentous impression

as the other 'firsts' in the women's division.

But really, this was all about the post-match angle - where just as Asuka was about to reveal

who she'd face at WrestleMania, out came Ronda Rousey in an enormous jacket to awkwardly

point at the WrestleMania sign!

So that was the 2018 Royal Rumble in about 7 hours.

Vote in the poll above my head to give your rating, where you can choose from - In Awe,

Cor, AVRAWGE, Poor and Bore.

This was one of the best and most fun Royal Rumbles in years, which is why it's getting

a very solid Cor.

But NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia was even better!

OUR NEW (CAMPER) VAN! | Van Vlog #1 - Duration: 5:41.

hey guys welcome to the introduction of our new van

this is the van we're going to be converting it to a camper

we just picked it up over Christmas holiday

and yeah so it's a 2017 Ford Transit

it's the high and extended version

so it's basically the biggest version you can get

it's got the all-around windows

which is we weren't sure if we really wanted that

but I think it's gonna work out

it's got the little minor window opening here

and then the back is completely empty,

no trim at all whatsoever

which is fine because we're going to be

Basically converting it

add a bed the bed will probably fit in the back here

and then we'll be able to sit up in the bed

and then below the bed

down here

we'll have like the garage for the bikes

and maybe the batteries for the solar

we also have a scooter that my wife uses

and we might just park it in the back here

if we're traveling around and she's just wants to go somewhere on her own

I'm not sure what's going to happen here yet

I'm still going to design something in 3d

But we'll probably have like a kitchen

something here with cabinets

I don't think we're gunna..

We might have a very small toilet,

but we're probably not going to have a shower

Probably just shower at a fitness center

or like a recreation center or something like that

So the interior is pretty good.

It's got the gps nav

It's got electric seats, heated seats

It's got the inverter, its got the tow controller

Down here, the auxiliary switches

It also has cruise control

And then it has the lane assist

Which I've used before in other vehicles. it's really annoying

Because it beeps at you if you kind of cross the line

This one, it actually shakes the side of the wheel you're crossing on

So it feels more like a rumble strip on the road

verses a beep, which is nice

and its got auto lights

and then the wipers will turn on automatically and stuff

heated mirrors

I dunno, a lot of stuff we didn't really need

but um,

So what happened with this van is we were about to buy the basic version

a used one

what happened was, right before the day we were going to buy it

This other dealer I visited earlier said

"We just got this van in"

"you should come take a look"

Someone in squamish apparently ordered this van

and decided they didn't want it for whatever reason

whether it was too late

Cause it takes about 4-5 months for these to come once you order them

but this person had planned to convert it into a camper themselves

but then bailed out, I'm not sure why

so we kinda lucked out because it became available to us

and the ford dealer was not going to be able to sell this very easily

because anybody what wants a cargo van like this does not want the rear windows

because they're just gunna

they'll probably accidently break them

cause they're on a work site or something like that

but for a camper van

It's not necessarily a bad thing

We were able to get a really good deal on it

and um

I'm really stoked about it

yea, the van we were about to buy was a used one

and the finance rate was not good because it was used

and then obviously it didn't have

nearly all the features that this one has

so..

yeah, it was kind of a no brainer for us

the plan is to eventually live in the van

and tour around and go mountain biking

to see

all of north america, mexico, maybe central america

see, see how we feel about uh

going through Nicaragua and stuff

Yeah

Really excited for this van

It's also got this keyless entry so if we ever

lock the keys in the van while we're shuttling,

we can still get in which is nice

It's also the eco-boost engine

We had considered the diesel

The diesel would have never been available to us unless we ordered but

apparently modern diesels aren't great

if you plan to go to central or south America

because the diesel quality is not as good there

and these require a higher quality diesel

which I was surprised about, because diesel is kind of

diesel is more of a simple fuel vs gasoline

it's a less refined fuel, so i was surprised that you need a higher quality diesel

in North America

in these modern diesels

so I'm really excited for it

We're just about to install the fan we just bought

we're about to cut a hole in the roof

which I'm a bit nervous about for this brand new van

Hopefully it goes okay

So the next Van Vlog

Will be about installing

the fan and cutting the hole in the roof

So, hopefully it goes okay!

Thanks for watching guys!

I Can't Afford It - Stop Saying It! - Duration: 7:05.

Do you ever use the phrase "I can't afford it"? Do you ever find yourself not

financially where you want to be? If that's the case, my friend, it's time for

today's mentoring appointment. Come on in.

Hello, my friend and welcome to this week's mentoring appointment. So you want to

grow your income and of course increase your self-worth.

You've probably heard an interesting phrase growing up and maybe you've even

used this phrase a time or two, that phrase of course is "I can't afford"

I can't even stand to even think those words because they are so detrimental to

a person's wealth and success. Oh but Eric, we're taught to use

those words like, we're taught to like say no other things and that keeps

us from spending money. I used to buy into that as well. Unfortunately, anytime

you use say or even think the words "I can't afford it"

you are literally putting a glass ceiling on the amount of money that you

can create in your life. You're literally sending a message to your brain which

says no, there's zero possibility that we can actually create the money in our

lives to be able to make this purchase that we want to make and again, it causes

your brain to be extremely lazy. I don't know about you but I want my brain to

keep working and like to work hard to increase my results rather than saying

no, here's the limit and you must spend less than that limit. A few years ago, I

actually was this close to making that very same mistake, we were on welfare at

the time, I had quit my full-time job just a couple of months earlier and my

business hadn't taken off yet and I found out that one of my favorite

singers was actually coming to our town to do a concert right around my birthday.

Well I thought, well that would be a phenomenal birthday activity and so I

went online and found out how much to a floor side seats would cost because I

don't know about you but I'm the type of person where if I go to a show or a play

or concert, I can't have nosebleed seats, I mean I've got to be close, I've got to

be able to like see their facial expressions and be able to like really

know what's going on to get the full experience. I found out that two floor

side seats was going to cost us about $220 which at that

time, that was a lot of money and I was this close to thinking, oh turn it, I

can't.. Oh my god, I can't think that. I cannot put that limit on my brain

and so instead of saying I couldn't afford the tickets I began to ask myself

how can afford these tickets I actually put it

on my vision board and I began to tell my brain,

you know what, brain? You see this, I really want it make it happen. The thing

about the human brain is whenever we pose questions to it, it generally goes

to work looking for the answer. The unfortunate truth is that most people

ask themselves negative questions like "Why can't I ever afford things?" or "Why

don't I ever have money in my life?" And so of course, their brain goes to work

working on the answer and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, doesn't it?

Have you been doing this, my friend? It's time to stop. Again, instead of saying

"I can't afford it." Ask yourself the question, how can I

afford it? Put your brain to work in the right direction and allow your brain to

come up with ways that you could generate the money for it.

My friend, any dollar amount is simply one idea away. I'll say that one more

time, any dollar amount is simply one idea away and so I began to ask myself

the question. How can I afford these foresight seats? How can I afford to go

to purchase these tickets and go see my favorite singer? As I began to ask myself

how can I afford this, I remembered that the restaurant that I had stopped

working for just months before actually owed me a bonus. This particular

restaurant on each person's one-year anniversary of working for that

restaurant, they gave you a certain bonus. I wasn't exactly sure what it might be

but I figured hey, I might as well at least ask. I remembered that I had never

actually received it and so I called them and I said, "Hey, is there any way

that you could mail me a check for that bonus that I was supposed to get on my

one-year anniversary?" And they said sure. Six days before the concert,

I'd go out to my mailbox, find the letter, open it up and I was shocked to see a

check inside for $228. I asked my brain how could I afford it, I

then followed specific action which led me to being able to create the money to

afford those tickets and of course, we've done this over and over and over ever

since then with bigger and bigger things. My friend, cut the phrase "I can't afford

it" out of your vocabulary. Yes, even if you're a parent.

Wait a second but like what if I'm like at the grocery store with my kids

and they're asking me for like all this cereal, all this candy and everything? Why

don't I tell them I can't afford it? First of all, do you really want to

instill that phrase in your kids' heads? Do you really want to them thinking

that there is never enough money to go around? Why would you even instill that

inside their minds? Instead what you can do is simply ask them that's a good idea,

what would you like to do to be able to create the money in order to purchase

that cereal? Yes, you can give them the responsibility even with little kids.

Maybe you can encourage them to do some extra chores or to go around the

neighborhood asking your neighbors if they have any odd jobs around their

houses that they could do for however much money they're willing to pay.
