Rana invites Hümeyra over - Elif Episode 674 (English & Spanish subtitles) - Duration: 3:29.

Welcome, Hümeyra!

Come in.

Am I mistaken? I was looking for Ms. Rana.

- Honey, you're so sweet. - I can't believe!

What happened you? Did you change your make up?

I mean, did you do something different?

- You actually look like someone else! - Did you like it?

Are you kidding? I loved it!

You look very pretty, Rana.

Oh, thank you, dear. Let me get your coat.

You were already pretty, now you look even better.

I look pale next to you.

Oh, why did you say that?

It is, truly. I'm fallen off the map.

Listen to these, Mr. Tarik, listen!

The colour of your lipstick is beautiful! It fits your skin as well!

Your make up was done at a beauty saloon, clearly.

You're going to take me there, too. Is that a deal?

Sure thing. I'd love that.

Come on, don't stay on foot for long. Let's go in.

Come on, have a seat, Hümeyra. Don't get yourself tired.

You're a pregnant woman after all.

And I am the one who made you tired all the way here,

Well, bravo! Why did you say that? I loved the way here.

Hümeyra, dear, you're so nice.

Thanks for coming.

In the mean time, your belly has grown a lot!

- Baby's on its way, looks so healthy! - Hopefully!

Look, I've told you before, now I will again,

being a mother looks really good on you.

- You look better each and every day! - Oh, really?

Of course.

So what have you been doing all these time?

- Keep doing yoga? - How could I? I couldn't got the chance of my mom's condition.

Oh, there was that. Hope she's better now.

So how is Mrs. Macide now? Does she feel better?

- I hope she is. - Thankfully.

Whatever, let's pass this one.

You tell me, what's up with you?

Why did you disappear all of a sudden?

Well, don't ask, Hümeyra.

I've been so upset lately.

What's going on?

Is it related with romantic matters?

Exactly.

We've been in a huge fight with my boyfriend.

Then I was all out.

So that's why you got some time off from the office.

Honey, but I called you for so many times.

I was so curious about you. I asked to Tarik, but he didn't know either.

I didn't want to show up unnoticed,

I couldn't know what to do.

You're right, Hümeyra, but what could I do? That was depression.

I mean, I didn't want to see anyone for a while.

The break up was harsh on me.

I wanted to disconnect from the world through this.

I see now.

So, since you're back to world now, things are better now with your boyfriend.

How is it, is it alright now?

We've made it up at the end.

- I'm happy for you. - Me, too.

I mean, we just started getting our relationship all together, but I'm fine with it.

It seems to me that it'll be better than ever now.

3 signings that can take Liverpool to the next level - Duration: 7:45.

3 signings that can take Liverpool to the next level

We asked one of our writers, which three realistic signings would you make in order to make Liverpool title challengers next season?.

Liverpool supporters crave that elusive Premier League title, and just a few more top signings could make that dream a reality.

Jurgen Klopp will have Naby Keita arriving this summer and if the manager can add a trio of high-quality players in key areas, the Reds can continue their progress under the German.

Strengthening the spine of the side is key for me, and here are three players I believe can make all the difference.

Allison (Goalkeeper).

Loris Karius deserves real praise for a sizeable improvement in recent weeks, but there are still doubts about him going forward.

It is only fair that he has between now and May to show he can be Liverpools first-choice goalkeeper, but there is still a lot of convincing to do.

You only have to look at Man United to see how priceless an influential keeper can be – who else is absolutely sick of the sight of David de Gea? – and Allison would be the perfect recruit.

Brazils No. 1 has been described as the Messi of goalkeepers by former Roma coach Roberto Negrisolo, which says all you need to know about his brilliance.

He is an expert shot-stopper and a renowned sweeper-keeper – he made six saves in Romas 2-1 loss to Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday, and enjoyed a passing accuracy of 89 per cent – and at 25, he still has years ahead of him.

Liverpool have been hotly-tipped to make a big-money bid for Allison this summer, and if they get a deal done, he could easily be their most significant defensive signing since Pepe Reina.

Recent reports have suggested that Klopp will keep his faith in Karius, but that feels like a risk.

A great keeper can win you 10 points a season.

Stefan de Vrij (Centre-Back).

The acquisition of Virgil van Dijk is massive for Liverpool, and in his short time at the club, the defence has already looked far more secure.

The Reds still lack a top-quality partner for the 26-year-old, however, with Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan all not good enough to feature regularly.

Many names have been thrown into the hat when it comes to summer arrivals, but one who could be a very shrewd purchase is Lazios Stefan de Vrij.

The 26-year-old will leave the Serie A giants on a free transfer at the end of the season, and if reports are to be believed, Liverpool will scrap with the likes of United and Arsenal for his signature.

Not only is De Vrij a highly impressive centre-back, he is also a compatriot of Van Dijks, meaning a fearsome pairing could be formed for both club and country.

We have seen how effective that can be at Tottenham, with Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen superb alongside one another in recent years.

There arent many available world-class defenders around in the modern game – most of them are tied down to their current clubs – but getting De Vrij on a free would be a masterstroke.

There is no guarantee that he would come in and be a game-changer, but his age, reputation and lack of a fee make luring him to Merseyside a no-brainer.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Midfield).

If the name Sergej Milinkovic-Savic doesnt ring a bell right now, in the next few years it will.

The Serbia international is regarded as one of the most exciting young midfielders in world football, and Lazio will do very well to keep hold of him.

A box-to-box player who can run at opponents, out-muscle them and beat them in the air with his imposing 6ft 4in frame – an average of 2.

5 aerial wins a match is highly impressive – he would add so much to an often one-dimensional Liverpool midfield.

Admittedly, his passing is seen as the weakest area of his game, with a 79. 3 per cent accuracy far from earth-shattering in 2017/18, but that rawness will subside as the years pass.

With Emre Can looking almost certain to leave Anfield this summer, a major reinforcement will be required to team up with fellow new signing Naby Keita.

Milinkovic-Savic fits the bill to perfection, and if you think Can is a player blessed with great potential, the Lazio favourite is on another level.

It would be a huge buy if Liverpool could get it done, particularly in a long-term sense, but with many of Europes powerhouses hovering ominously, it will be tricky.

Lets not forget that Lucas Leiva is now at Lazio, however, so the Brazilian can do his best to persuade both Milinkovic-Savic and De Vrij to join the Reds.

Marko Grujic can hopefully have a similar influence when he and Milinkovic-Savic meet up for international duty.

Possible Liverpool XI next season: Allison, Alexander-Arnold, De Vrij, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Milinkovic-Savic, Keita, Salah, Mane, Firmino.

Steven Gerrard admits he's still adapting to academy coaching - Duration: 2:59.

Steven Gerrard admits he's still adapting to academy coaching

Liverpool Under-18s coach Steven Gerrard admits he is still trying to adjust to the way the club's academy system works.

The former Reds captain guided his young side to victory over Manchester United in the UEFA Youth League to set up a quarter-final next month against Manchester City.

It ended a run of four defeats for Gerrard, in his first season in charge of the youth side, and he accepts he is still getting his head around the priorities of working in the academy.

"In terms of the (under) 18s and 23s it has been a tough few weeks in terms of results, they haven't gone our way.

The lads have had a tough month and so have the staff," said the former midfielder, whose side have slipped to third in the Under-18 Premier League.

"It has been a test, it has been challenging, because things change from the January window as people go out on loan, people move up to Melwood and you don't have the same players you had for the six months.

"Critch (under-23 coach Neil Critchley) has his pick from my players, which I have to accept, and I have the pick from the 16s.

"Some of my players are not ready for 23s, which can be frustrating for Critch, and some of the 16s are maybe not ready for 18s but it is what happens at academy level so I have to adapt to that.

"If it was my way I wouldn't let any of them go, I'd want them to compete for the league but that's selfish because players have to get different experiences higher up and players have to go out on loan.

"So it is me who has to adapt to the academy system rather than the players.

Asked whether he had finally adapted Gerrard added: "Just about, just about… Still trying actually.

FSG can change approach to Liverpool FC going forward - Duration: 4:30.

FSG can change approach to Liverpool FC going forward

Former Liverpool managing director Christian Purslow predicts that owners FSG can change their approach in the future in order to bring success to Anfield.

Liverpools American owners purchased the club in October 2010, following a legal battle involving RBS and former owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett.

In the seven and a half years since then, FSG have been a major talking point among Liverpool supporters, with some seeing the value they have added by stabilising the club after an extremely turbulent time under Gillett and Hicks, and others questioning whether they have done enough to make the club competitive again.

But, having resolved the two-decade issue with the Main Stand by expanding Anfields capacity to 54,000, appointing a world-renowned manager in Jurgen Klopp, and pushing ahead with a new training ground and plans to expand Anfields capacity to over 61,000, FSG have built the foundations for success.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echos Blood Red podcast, Purslow anticipates that with these cornerstones now in place, a change of approach in terms of transfers can be yielded.

"There will be people – fans, media – who will say they want them to spend more, to buy Pogba for £90m or whatever, said Purslow.

I think its a perfectly reasonable observation, and it might change.

They might become more expansive with their capital now they have nailed down their cornerstones.

"The new domestic TV deal provides further stability, and the overseas revenue is likely to exceed last time.

So I would have plenty of sympathy for the view that they can afford to be more expansive going forward..

FSG broke Liverpools transfer record three times in the last year, signing Mohamed Salah, Naby Keita and Virgil van Dijk – and that could be the way of the future, says Purslow:.

"Im an investor by background, and so are they, and I think you can make an argument as an investor that the strategy which makes most value for Liverpool in the long run is to make Liverpool a winning club as opposed to an ultra-competitive top club.

To do that, you might have to speculate to accumulate.

"They have the potential, without doubt, to fight each year for the Premier League and to go deep and long in the Champions League.

"To shorten those odds by investing more absolute money is the choice they have in front of them.

I wouldnt be surprised if they do so, but knowing their background I would be surprised if it wasnt just a gradual ramping-up – always with the backdrop of financial responsibility..

Purslows assessment seems fair, and although patience is in short supply in football, it does seem that Liverpool are on the verge of benefiting from long-term planning under FSG and Klopp.

Roberto Firmino will NOT face action after investigation into racism claim - Duration: 6:27.

Roberto Firmino will NOT face action after investigation into racism claim

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino will not face any further action after the FA concluded a detailed investigation into claims made by Everton defender Mason Holgate last month.

In a statement released on Wednesday evening, the Football Association said that they took statements from 12 players and officials from both teams, plus the match referee and the fourth official – and none of these directly heard the words Holgate claimed to have heard.

The incident occurred during Liverpools 2-1 FA Cup win over Everton in January, with Holgate claiming Firmino had used racist language when reacting to an overly aggressive challenge from the defender that saw him push Firmino into the advertising boards in front of the Main Stand.

That Holgate made the claim despite referee Bobby Madley and several players from each team being easily within earshot always seemed quite baffling.

Firmino now has been cleared and wont face any action.

An FA Statement reads:.

Having considered all of the available evidence, we consider it is not sufficient to raise a charge against Firmino.

However, we are completely satisfied that the allegation was made in absolute good faith by Holgate and that there is no suggestion of this being an intentionally false or malicious allegation.

We continue to take all allegations of discrimination extremely seriously and would encourage all participants who believe that they have been the subject of or witness to discriminatory abuse to report this through the appropriate channels.

Holgate and Everton followed the proper process by reporting the matter to the match officials at the time and subsequently to The FA.

We receive a significant number of complaints of discrimination in any one season and thoroughly investigate all complaints we receive.

Following consideration of all of the evidence received, not all cases will result in a charge being issued.

Holgate, who quickly deleted his Twitter account after the match when homophobic tweets were found on his account, will not face any action.

Quite how he was never booked for the purposeful act of endangering an opponent by pushing Firmino into the advertising boards when off the pitch, remains a mystery.

A statement from Firmino reads:.

As difficult as it has been to remain publicly silent, given the serious and damaging nature of what it was claimed I said during the game, I did so to demonstrate my respect for the process and to allow the issue to be investigated in the most thorough way.

It is critical for football that tackling racism and all forms of discrimination is taken extremely seriously.

As someone who has experienced racist abuse during my life, I know how damaging and hurtful it can be.

Now the process is concluded, I would like to place on record, for the avoidance of any doubt, I did not say the word, or a variation of the word, that was claimed and subsequently reported in the media.

I did not use any language that referenced race.

I did not – and would never – reference a person's skin colour or culture, by means of insult, during a dispute or an argument.

There is no place for discrimination on a football pitch, or anywhere else in life for that matter.

I am pleased after exhaustive reviews of all the evidence, in this specific incident, the matter is resolved..

A statement from Liverpool FC reads:.

"We thank Roberto for the manner in which he has conducted himself during this difficult process, acknowledging that being subjected to such a serious allegation for this length of time has been hurtful to him and his family.

"Both the club and player were in full agreement from the beginning that if an investigation was required it should be a thorough and robust one.

"Roberto has co-operated fully with the process and shown a willingness to engage and assist throughout, with the only objective being to discover the truth of what happened.

"We are satisfied that the outcome of the process has exonerated the player of using any racist or discriminatory language.".

DUNKIRK Without Spoilers | OSCARS 2018 - Duration: 4:30.

Welcome Brave! I'm Noah from the Ice Room.

We will continue with the nominees for the best film for the 2018 Oscars.

At this moment we have to analyze ... 'Dunkirk' ...

"What has happened is a colossal military catastrophe."

"We will never surrender ..."

Film directed and written by the fantastic filmmaker

Christopher Nolan, one of my favorite directors, with wonderful music

Hans Zimmer, who does not know him and with a photograph of Hoyte Van Hoytema. And in

the cast we found a fantastic cast. Who are they? Well, we started

with Fionn Whitehead, we go with Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy and a long

etc. all great. And in the synopsis, always without spoilers,

We moved to 1940 in the middle of the Second World War, on the beaches of

Dunkirk (France), where the French and British troops look

cornered, I already tell you on these beaches, because in the vast French territory

the German troops are advancing leaving them without options. Time flies

against him. It's an exasperating situation, really

which is brutal. Tell them that this movie has made me

moved, it's a different movie, it's a special movie. They said that

Christopher Nolan was a bit fanciful, because here you have realism, right? Is very

pragmatic, it really has an image treatment like few others. In the

Golden Globes this movie won 3 nominations:

movie, soundtrack and director. And in the Oscars he has up to 8, among which

They are film and director. Well I'm going to give you curiosities and it's that

historically this operation, which is detailed in the film was called,

'Dynamo' operation. Very interesting really, if you are interested

the truth story that to throw a little okey because it is brutal.

In fact, this is also talked about in Gary Oldman's 'The Darkest Moment'

which is nominated ... which is also the best movie, but it's also

nominated Gary as best actor for that interpretation that makes brutal with that

Make up piece and let's say that characterization piece that they have made.

Well we continue with the curiosities of Dunkirk and that is that in this last decade,

after 'The Master' and 'The Odious 8', it is the third filmed and projected in 70

millimeters A luxury, let's say, that they can

enjoy very few because in Spain there are very few rooms that are prepared

for this type of projections. Let's go further ... Christopher Nolan is his

tenth film and is the first based on real events.

Os he dicho antes, ¿verdad? que se quería quitar su estereotipo de fantasioso, pues

Pawn! Here you have it, realism pure and hard and

Very very pragmatic, as I said before forgive me to repeat myself. And you are

it would be the curiosities. Finally I would like to tell you a

very interesting and is that ... the fantastic composer Hans Zimmer. Well, he had the

commission by Nolan to create as a tension throughout the entire footage.

How did they do it? With a ticking of a clock along, as I say, almost

the whole movie. But he synthesized it as a result of a pocket watch of his own

Nolan Hans Zimmer picked up the clock, synthesized it, remixed it and that's how

is that creates a tension ... Woow! Brutal. What do you think about this

movie? you have time, you probably will not find it anywhere

cinema. But really worth seeing and in very high quality.

Tell me in comments if you think you can be the winner for the best movie, or better

director, or better soundtrack or what you think because he has up to 8

nominations to these Oscars. Will you win something? Tell me what you can think of, both

for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, comment box, whatever you want ... and I just say goodbye.

Thank you very much and we'll see each other, or hear each other, as long as you want to be Braves.

Ciao Ciao! Mua! xxx

The latest on Stefan de Vrij, Alisson and Emre Can's future – Liverpool FC News Roundup - Duration: 7:09.

The latest on Stefan de Vrij, Alisson and Emre Can's future – Liverpool FC News Roundup

We bring you the latest Liverpool FC news and rumours on Wednesday, including a potential four-way tussle for a bargain defensive signing.

Reds Set to Challenge Rivals for De Vrij.

Lazios announcement that Stefan de Vrij will leave the club on a free transfer this summer has been met with mass speculation over the Dutchmans future.

De Vrij, a 33-cap international, will be one of the most hotly coveted Bosman signings of the year, and unsurprisingly Liverpool have been linked with a move.

According to the Mirror, they will vie with Man United, Everton and Arsenal for the 26-year-olds signature.

However, it is claimed that De Vrij is understood to fancy Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho poised to overhaul his defence at the end of the season.

De Vrij is arguably a better option than both Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren, though, and Jurgen Klopp would be wise to prompt an approach for a potential new partner for Virgil van Dijk.

Roma Forced to Sell Alisson This Summer?.

Liverpools interest in AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson has reportedly cooled, with Klopp now expected to keep his faith in Loris Karius as long-term No.

However, there is no guarantee his decision wont waver between now and June, and the Brazil international is one of the best options if Klopp does opt to pursue a new first choice.

And according to Sky Italys Augusto De Bartolo, Roma could be forced to sell the 25-year-old due to impending Financial Fair Play restrictions.

This would come if Roma fail to qualify for next seasons Champions League, and though they are currently in the last 16 they are unlikely to go the distance this term, and face a fight for a top-four finish in Serie A.

It could be that, if Roma were to miss out, Liverpool reconsider their options ahead of another raid on the Italian outfit.

Can Delaying Decision Over Next Club.

By now, it is widely expected Emre Can will leave Liverpool on the expiry of his contract on July 1, with Juventus his most likely destination.

However no final decision has been made at this stage, with Can still committed to the Reds cause for the time being.

Italian publication Tuttosport have claimed that Can wont announce his future plans until next month at the earliest, while he rightly focuses on his current club.

They also name Man City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid as possible rivals for Juventus, though it is highly debatable he would enjoy regular game time with any of the three.

Leipzig Confirm Keita Injury Blow.

Soon-to-be Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita limped off the field just after the hour mark in RB Leipzigs 2-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt on Monday night, sparking fears of a long-term absence.

Though the extent of his injury remains unclear, Leipzig have now confirmed Keita has suffered a strain in his right thigh.

This is far from the most severe problem, and the hope will be Keita doesnt miss too much action between now and the end of the campaign.

Reds Watch Talisca in Besiktas Defeat?.

Though there are still four months until the summer transfer window opens, Liverpool are likely making progress behind the scenes in securing their priority signings early.

According to Turkish Football, Reds scouts were present during Besiktas 5-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday night, with Anderson Talisca in their sights.

Talisca has already been linked with a move to Merseyside, and it could be that Klopp is keeping tabs on the Brazilian attacking midfielders progress ahead of a possible bid.

Ex-Liverpool Stopper Set for Palace.

Finally, one ex-Red looks to be making his way back to the Premier League, with Diego Cavalieri in talks with Crystal Palace over a free transfer.

ESPN FC report that Cavalieri could be brought in as cover for Wayne Hennessey, having impressed Roy Hodgson in training over the past week.

Cavalieri made 10 appearances for Liverpool between 2008 and 2010, struggling to displace Pepe Reina as Rafa Benitezs first-choice stopper.

He went on to establish himself as a key figure for Fluminense, however, making 229 appearances for the club, winning the Brasileiro Serie A in 2012.

Nancy Pelosi Has 'New Idea' To Stop Illegal Immigration, 3 Words Leave Democrats Cringing - Duration: 5:03.

Nancy Pelosi Has 'New Idea' To Stop Illegal Immigration, 3 Words Leave Democrats Cringing.

Crazy Nancy Pelosi recently talked about her "new idea" to stop illegal immigrants

from flooding across the southern border.

However, it immediately blew up in her face after just three words from the kookie congresswoman

left Democrats cringing.

House Minority Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is known for putting a foot in her mouth every

now and then, but a new clip of the California Democrat demonstrates just how embarrassing

her senile behavior can be.

After seeing the clip, one has to wonder why Pelosi is still in Congress.

According to The Gateway Pundit, Pelosi gave an interview to Congressional reporter Ronald

Hansen during her recent visit to The Arizona Republic.

The clip, which was recorded on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, really shows how mentally unfit

Pelosi is to be in Congress.

In fact, the deranged Pelosi is probably lucky that she doesn't actually have to work for

a living.

When asked by Hansen if she thinks it's possible to get other House Democrats to vote

for funding the building of President Donald Trump's border wall, Pelosi replied, "Well,

I'm not the wall's biggest advocate in Congress, but I do know that representatives

in the House and Senators, in that body from the border wall areas, have some serious objection

to a wall because they know how detrimental it can be to the community trade, to all of

the other aspects of a border."

She continued, "But again, let's sit down and talk this through and see what makes sense.

Not some commitment to a promise that we're going to build a wall and Mexico is going

to pay for it.

That's never going to happen.

But, let's talk about where a more serious structure might be necessary, where fencing

will do or mowing the grass so that people can't be smuggled through the grass, that's

something, levies, technology, personnel."

Yes, she said that.

Why on earth would Democrats let someone as stupid as Nancy Pelosi represent them in any

way?

She's not just an embarrassment to her colleagues and her constituents but also to our country.

Anyone with common sense knows, "mowing the grass" isn't going to accomplish anything

for border security as Pelosi suggested during her interview.

It's well past time for Pelosi to step down and retire with the obscene fortune she's

made as a politician.

This wasn't the first time Pelosi has made a fool of herself when speaking about the

border wall.

In April 2017, Pelosi conducted a conference call with reporters during which she bashed

Trump's attempt to secure funding for the border wall.

Pelosi claimed that it would be wrong if the wall was funded at the expense of government

programs like those that assist young people, the elderly, and the environment, according

to The Hill.

"He did not promise that he would take food out of the mouths of babies and seniors and

education, clean air, clean water, scientific research off the table in a significant way

in order for him to pay for his immoral, ineffective, unwise proposal of a wall," Pelosi said

at the time.

According to AZ Central, Nancy Pelosi also insulted President Donald Trump and his congressional

supporters, saying, "This isn't about the Grand Old Party that did so much for our

country.

This is something that is anti-evidence, anti-science, anti-government.

Actually, President Trump coming in is their guy.

… There's nothing that President Trump has advocated on policy that they haven't

been there longer and worse.

Name any subject.

Immigration, gun safety, climate, environment, clean air, clean water, a woman's right

to choose, fairness in our economy."

If only Californians weren't so dumb, then we wouldn't have career politicians like

Nancy Pelosi hanging out in Congress long past their prime.

Just from watching the clip, it's easy to tell that she can barely construct intelligible

sentences, and the "mowing the grass" comment just takes

the cake.

What

WHAT I'VE READ // Girl Made of Stars, Everything I Never Told You and more!! [CC] - Duration: 9:21.

so I'm gonna be honest right now. most of these books I read over a month ago

and I honestly don't have as much to say as I might have, had I talked about them

a month ago. I really don't like the background of this video, hold please.

here are the books I read in the month of January. the first book I read is a

book that I've been meaning to read for probably since it came out, so years. this

is Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng. I wanted to pick this up for

ages because I was told it was a lot about the American dream which is

something that I wrote my dissertation on the American dream. I'm very

fascinated by the subject and the culture surrounding it and also how it's

changed and whether or not it's all just a lie. it's a lie. everything I never told

you is the story of a chinese-american man, professor marrying a white woman

in the 50s the woman really wants to pursue education but instead they end up

having three children Nathan, Lydia, and Hannah. at the start of this book, Lydia

is found dead and it kind of follows, it flashes back to when the couple first

met and also from their childhoods, and trying to figure out more about them, but

then is also set in Ohio during the 1970s when they find the body and kind

of the repercussions of that. this book tackles a lot it tackles race, age, gender,

sexuality. it really shows how microaggressions wear away at people

over time, especially in the context of this book in terms of race. it's a really

incredible look at race in America. it's again it's a lot about the American

dream. I wouldn't go into this wanting a like murder mystery type thing. yes, one

of the daughters is found dead but it's really not about that. it's also just

about like what children keep from their parents and everything they never tell

you. I give this 5 out of 5 stars. I really really enjoyed it. I'm very

excited to read Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. I think I'm gonna love that.

next book is The Accident Season by Moira Fowley Doyle.

I read Spellbook of the Lost and Found around Halloween time.

really liked it, really liked her writing. again, I really liked more finally

Doyle's writing. this was her first book I believe. it's real weird.

basically, this family curse causes an annual

season of broken bones, torn skin, and bruised bodies, but why?

what is the accident season? why like for a month or whatever every year are they

just constantly being wounded or even worse? it's really weird. it's not quite

as spooky I guess as a spell book of lost and found, I didn't love it.

I didn't even really like it that much. like, I read this and really January, it

is now mid-february and I remember nothing.

so that says a lot. sad about that, will continue to read her books though,

because I do quite like her writing. next book I read was a graphic novel and is

Fun Home by Alison Bechdel who you might know of the Bechdel test. titled fun home:

a family tragicomic it is a graphic novel about family, a lot about sexuality,

obviously. it's very academic, it's very literary. it relies heavily on literary

allusions that I didn't even necessarily understand a lot of the time. ultimately,

so much about the stories about is the relationship between her and her father

and also both of their relationships with their sexuality and also how her

father's death affected her. I find it really hard to look at graphic novels on

the whole. if you've watched me for a while you know I'm not big on them,

especially with memoirs. I'll be looking at them as a diary, as a novel, as a

graphic novel, as kind of a comic, I'm looking at all of the pieces but I find

it hard to look at them as one whole solid thing. this does rely a lot on text,

this is a very text heavy graphic novel, so if you prefer ones with more imagery

the images and this didn't seem to further the story for me. I think this is

a great piece of like queer literature and it's a part of the zeitgeist of

queer literature and it's really important but I just myself didn't enjoy

it because I don't like our graphic novels. so the next book is one that I feel like

is a really important book and I'm gonna link some other reviews to it down below

because again I read it a while ago and I think there's so much to be said about it

that I feel like other people have said and said better so I'm gonna link to

some other reviews about Sing, Buried, Sing by Jesmyn Ward. this is story about

three generations, ghosts, it's a story a lot about the black body,

it's a story about how ordinary people become mythic. Ward has an

incredible--she has an incredible ability to make you empathise with every

character even characters that do and say terrible terrible things that you

kind of loathe them for but you still empathise with them and understand them

from a certain aspect. content warning for this book, there are a lot of racial

slurs, there are mentions of rape and murder and abuse, especially child abuse.

to say a little bit about what the actual plot of this book is because I

feel like I haven't done that. it's a story of this boy who's 13 years old and

he's kind of taking care of his little sister and while his mom is a drug

addict. at the start of this book they find out that their father is going to

be released from prison and so they go up to pick him up essentially and it's

kind of a road trip story but also there's this ghost story element where

their mother is seeing the ghost of her brother. they're also like, there's this

plot line about the drugs that they're trying to get ahold of there's a lot

going on it's a very focused on family and race and yeah again I'm gonna link

to other reviews. I did really like this book I didn't love it as much as some

other works of literary fiction I've read recently but I'm very happy I read

it and also Obama loves it and if Obama loves it, I have to read it.

my favorite book I've read so far is Girl Made of Stars by Ashley

herring Blake. Ashley herring Blake wrote How to Make a Wish, which I read last

year and really loved. this is a story of a girl named Mara. Mara has a twin

brother named Owe,n Owen is accused of raping his girlfriend.

Owens girlfriend is also Mara's best friend or one of her best friends, so she

has to deal with the repercussions of that. it's very hard to read. it's painful

to read because it is so much about rape culture, that's the whole book. sometimes

you deal with books that deal with rape or sexual assault and they're mentioned

there this whole story every single page is about that and it's about the rape

culture and it's about the way we treat women when they come out about their

sexual assault. it's about queer stories and it's

beautiful. the main character in the story is also dealing with a recent

breakup with her partner who is also genderqueer,

so that's really interesting and you don't see a lot of that in YA.

Our main character is also bi, so if you're looking for some

bisexual representation, it's in here, it's pretty great. There are a lot of important

conversations on consent and yeah, but be careful,

severe content warning/trigger warning for rape and sexual assault because it's

all over this book. next book I read is one that I'm not gonna talk a lot about

cause I didn't like it uh-huh and that's The Cruel Prince by Holly black. I'm not

big on faerie novels. I think I'm just maybe gonna stop reading faerie

novels cause I consistently dislike them. You've probably heard a lot about this book.

main character's parents are murdered and her and her sisters are stolen to

live in the high faerie court and she's raised there. she's there for years and

she wants to stay there so she has to find a way to do that. there's political

drama, there's a civil war kind of brewing, honestly I was just bored. it

wasn't for me, other people seem to love it though, which is awesome. books aren't

for everyone, you know? Content warning for suicide and abuse. The final book I read

in the month of January is one that I listened to on audiobook and it is the

Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin. The Immortalists is a story of

four siblings in New York in the 60s/70s who go to a psychic and find out the day

they're going to die. the story then follows the four of them as they like

live and eventually die. two of the siblings move off to San Francisco, one

of them is gay and he kind of is living in the Castro district and living, being

a dancer and living that life in the 70s/80s. his sister goes off to live in Vegas

I think as a magician. one of them is a war doctor, I think and then one of them

is actually trying to extend life expectancy. she's testing, she's a

scientist working on that. so they all do very different things and they all kind

of tied together in certain ways. ultimately it's the story about whether

or not our destiny is predetermined and we have a hand in changing it if we know

when things are gonna happen? does the idea of knowing when you're going to die

affect your life by making you want to live life to its fullest or live in

dread and fear knowing that it's predetermine that you have no control

over it? a lot about that. I didn't love it, I liked it a lot and I thought was

really interesting and I think it's gonna be a big book this year I think a

lot of people are talking about it so that's cool. um I will also say there are

explicit sex scenes so if you're younger or you are uncomfortable with that,

take note, ummm yeah. Those are the books that I read in January. I haven't read anything

in February and it's the 20th, so doing well. let me know what you've read

recently in the comments below and I'll see you real soon, bye!

Kehlani - This Is How I Made It | Episode 7 | Cosmopolitan - Duration: 3:01.

I'm just a firm believer in, you're always being prepared for your blessings.

Because blessings are huge.

If I hadn't got prepared to get so many no's and to get closed on so many times,

I wouldn't be able to appreciate all the heavy, heavy, heavy great things that happened.

So it was all preparation.

I got into music because I joined a kid band when I was thirteen years old.

We were, you know, touring as a kid band, and we would just do cover songs.

We were like going out to LA and doing song, then coming back to class in our show clothes

still and our suitcases.

We were on America's Got Talent when we were sixteen years old.

Piers Morgan: When you went a bit crazy, it was a bit crazy, but that is part of your magic,

that's why we love you.

You are a very, very talented performer.

So, don't be disheartened.

We lost, but we were so happy to, like, have gotten that far even,

or even been on the show in the first place.

So, that was a cool no that was still a yes.

I definitely thought that that was who I was gonna be with forever.

These are my brothers.

It was just me and five boys.

We were six kids, you know, traveling up and down California in a van,

sleeping in the same hotel rooms.

The manager was just shitty.

I went to a meeting with the rest of the band, and we were just pulling up contracts,

and I was the only kid who pulled up by myself to this meeting with things underlined, like,

you said you would do this and this was supposed to happen and this didn't happen.

I literally walked away from the table after the meeting and said,

I never want to be a part of this, I never want to do this again if this is what the music industry is.

Having a great time and living your dream, and it being crushed due to, you know,

morality issues, is heartbreaking.

I literally went back to high school and got two regular jobs.

I worked at Hot Topic, I worked at a burger spot, like I was selling weed.

I was at the burger spot, being a waitress, writing songs in my head.

It wasn't for me.

I decided, like, I kind of have to step out on a limb here, and I'm willing to risk not

being financially stable and not being able to provide for myself, but I have to go out

and chase my dream in some type of way.

Hey, this is Kehlani.

You may know me from the band Poplyfe.

I came in fourth place on season six of America's Got Talent.

Now I'm working on some solo stuff, you know, still pumping out these covers

and making some music.

My manager reached out to me on Twitter and was like, yo, you got like a couple songs

here and three, like, I want to come hear some more if you're down.

He had just moved to LA, I had just moved to LA.

And like, we both didn't really have anything.

I played him a couple of my tracks, and he literally came back the next day like and

was like, yo, you don't have to call me your manager, but I six month plan and if you're

down, and I change your life in six months, let's talk about something.

I was like, okay, and in six months we dropped my first mix tape and went on my first tour.

I've toured like, maybe like four or five times, I've been to most countries and places

I didn't even think I would have a passport.

And I get to provide for my family, and I literally cannot wish for anything else.

Hello, I'm Kehlani, and I'm going to sing Hero by Mariah Carey.

I would tell her to keep in mind, like, things are coming, so don't beat yourself up too

hard that you keep getting somewhere good and then falling, and then getting somewhere good and

then falling, and then getting somewhere good, because those falls are going to make the

rises so much better.

I'm Kehlani, and this is how I made it.

CARVING A SLAM DUNK BASKETBALL PLAYER WALKING STICK - Duration: 15:32.

Hello!

In this video I would like to show how I took a broken project and turned it into this Slam

Dunk walking stick.

I had intended to make another rattlesnake cane out of this piece of wood.

But as I carved what would be the handle of the cane I noticed a defect running right

through the middle of it.

Now I'm not one to give up easily and I sure don't want to waste the rest of this material.

Theres still some good grain direction in this piece.

With the curvature of the grain of the top of the stick I have the ability to carve something

I've had on my order list for a long time.

I'll first have to see If I can carve something round enough to look like a basketball.

Next I got to see if I can carve the hand that is palming the ball.

This stick is going to have more of a caricature and less realistic looking.

I'll need to leave the wrist area thicker for strength.

Locating where to begin the head is the real tricky part.

This stage is making me nervous.

So I'm just going to take my time and try not to make any mistakes.

I made a little clay mock-up of the nose and mouth area to help me get the shapes right

when I'm carving them in the wood.

This piece is going to be a bit bulky for practical use.

It will be more for display purposes.

The shape is coming along pretty good now.

I think it's going to turn out after all.

The painting process starts out with a couple of coats of gesso primer.

This turned out to be a real fun project for me.

It gave me a lot of challenges, but I really enjoyed the process of it.

Thanks for Watching!

I'll see you on the next one!

📝 Restless Modern - Haunted Lyrics

I could've been the golden boy OD next to my wife

Who doesn't care that I died

I'm searching for the answers to My whole freaking life

In a computer and mic

It always had to be this way But I just want to remember

That every time I feel afraid My other option was never

Any more than fading out

So grieve the old and let me go I'll fall right back to you

How can not enough for me Be everything for you

Turn off the radio Stop the car on the side of the highway

It's 4 a.m. and the winds feel cold Why are you standing out in it anyway

Anyway, yeah

So grieve the old and let me go I'll fall right back to you

How can not enough for me Be everything for you

And I feel you I feel you but I can't

I feel you And I feel you but I can't

Visiting SPAIN for an AUTISM Event (2018) - Duration: 19:30.

so I thought I'd start this vlog off in a different kind of setting oh yeah yeah

I'm in Spain and Alex is here

so basically me and Alex were asked to come here to Spain to talk at a Spanish

autism conference called welcome to the spectrum and we're here now on this this

like apartment thing where we are super cool and I can't it doesn't really give

it justice so what I'm gonna do is gonna do some sweet b-roll and show everybody

how cool this place looks and go

well the suns out and yeah I don't know if you can see but the sun's out and so today

may be actually more of a more of a nicer day Iyesturday it rained all day Alex

still hasn't got pants on anyway so today we are off to the I don't know what the name

of the venue is that we're going to and we're appearing at this place like at 6

o'clock I think but we've got to go I got to do an

interview downstairs ah like half 11:00 and then we're actually doing something

else I have no idea what you're this is the worst kind of I know I don't know do

it well I'm like the worst person ever so let's get on with the day

this is what I have to put up with on a daily basis

okay so we're still not downstairs I do have sunglasses I'm about going on use those

are they glasses as in readers I've got two I've got sunglasses actually glasses and I have

gratuitous sponsorship moment I actually have just I just have Ray Bans on me

I think they're in here so Ray Bans I feel like everybody should have

Ray Bans because if you don't have Ray Bans you kind of like what am I doing in life

um yeah we really I don't know we're gonna do we're gonna have to go

down stairs to the Lobby so yeah Chau step into my hotel room mine goes up and down no no

shoot you didn't see those shoelaces I just stepped on those made them ten

times worse ok so we're in a lift

hey how's it going all right cool so what's the plan

yeah yeah we'll sort it right now yeah cool it's probably like the weirdest place that

I've ever been in my life so right now what I could do I'm gonna walk to this

fountain right here and then all the way back to the guy can take a photo this is

really weird hey what are you on about I always wear sunglasses

just said was blacked out because he is rude but anyway I have green tea this morning

no didn't what have mint tea no we are going down here I

mean we're gonna be interviewed by this lovely lady and then this awesome dude

in the glasses Spanish translator Spanish, puerto rican, American that's my name

yeah it's gonna be good so it's very cool it's cold yeah it's colder than I

thought it was gonna be let me say that I'm I feel right it may be because of

all the coffee

we had done with this interview I think we're gonna get right how we do Europe

love it okay so we're in this store in in the city right now we just finished the

interview and we're in the store Alex needs to buy a toothbrush because

Alex came half way around the world and didn't have a toothbrush

let's get some deodorant to anyway so this store is super cool reminds me of

like how the stores were in the 90s back it in in Wales so I'm gonna take

some b-roll of the store so I can show you guys how awesome it is let's roll

hey we're in this car this is cozy well I can do that as well these guys look

this is the crew what's up crew hi yeah this is the craziest like

streets are drive down are we allowed to drive down this street sir?

anyway we're currently on our way to the conference center so I yeah we just took

some sweet b-roll inside this store and was so awesome and every car

looks the same here and I must say that the parking is incredible and they are it's just ninja very very hard to park here

yeah because it's always occupied and you can't park anywhere near me no I

noticed I was like okay well like I said some guys squashed into this tiny little

space just in a huge car and he did it he was like the Beast

I felt like getting out and cheering him on but go on dude you can do it he was the boss

that I would my mom could work like that

okay so we here we're in the actual event we're actually in the place we

just met everybody and like Europe has this whole like kiss culture so we did the

whole thing it was cool but we're here

Alex actually tried to kiss the guys on the lips I said he's a youtuber of Agriculture so

Alex does a lot of like farming and stuff so anyway we're here we're gonna go check

the place out so get ready for some sick b-roll let's do that again

okay so what we're going to do now is actually go back to the conference

center have some food charge the battery for this camera and then yeah get ready

to do the do the talk and it's going to be a really interesting it's cool

hanging out with Hugo and the Metro it'd going to be really cool anyway so we're gonna

go do that right now okay see you in a bit okay here I am on top of this huge hill

Metro cool chick is oh wow this is a really good view how's my

skateboard all the way down there so I gotta go get my skateboard on and it's

all

what's it worth it it's my first time your name's been on something real and

VP marks all you the real but most valued play here today it's getting

comfortable see okay this is the stage this is the auditorium or thee

I don't even call it theater auditorium this is Alex look check it out check it

out this is this is my thing up here so I'm gonna do the talk here today Alex I

mean today

yo yo what's going on so I'm here I'm at the event and actually we finished up at

the talk now we finished up at the top there's a lot of people behind me it was

all awesome it's pretty cool everybody was really nice but now we have to do

something else which I don't really know what we're doing

apparently we're doing something with some Star Wars people there's like this

this Star Wars 28 thing I don't know this is his whole Star Wars thing and

it's because I did the book the Star Wars philosophy book thing but I guess

we're gonna just figure out I don't know

so status report that's what we're doing we went outside we took a bunch of the

photos of Japan it was really fun it was really kind of weird I'm cold and I

don't really know what we're doing but we're going to do now is all this and

these guys over here I'm gonna like go into the the conference room which is

currently occupied Oh with some some guy doing a talk or something then we're

gonna go in there and I don't actually know I think we just gonna go in and

Surprise them just like stormtroopers in mcallen we're gonna film it anyway to be

pretty cool so you guys will see the reaction of what's going to actually

happen so it's a kettle

okay so back at the hotel it's actually the next day and we were ya the room is

destroyed we went out to get snacks st and something I realized that works is

that the person that I bought the snacks on is they didn't actually have a didn't

give me a receipt I thought all the stores and none of them spoke a word of

English so we went out for dinner last night and it's still here this is dinner

from last night and anyway we went for dinner it was but then I was really good

but we didn't really speak much Espanola so dinner

we understood 20 maybe 25 percent of what anyone was talking about we had a

translator but we still managed to make people talk about piercings in places

they shouldn't have piers various tattoos or body and everything and we

were just it was we tell jokes and they mother translator so everyone sort of

listening going out like it's so true anyway we're about to head out because

we need to get we're going out for lunch with Marisol I think which is like the

the person who is a practice she's a president of the company what was it mr.

president anyway Matt's already from the

government here in Spain yesterday and they were really interested though they

I don't even know why I met with the government they would they're really

interested in the Star Wars stuff interested in the public speaking kind

of education stuff so maybe maybe we left in some emails let me get you up a

school tour or something it's good this is a school anyway we're gonna go

outside and take some b-roll shots

Scottish well let's go British

everything is super super old here like I mean we have an Alex he's super old

everything is just like super old this is like what check this out look

oh it's good day

so that was really weird we were just like what was it called what was it what

what does it got us what's the thing called what's what's the thing that news

coke okay this is marshmallow obstacle God who made us both Beppo tomatoes we

watch the thing and it's like swinging if I was gonna drop humping people I was

like oh you shoot right now it was cool it was cool anyway yeah that was weird

we were not sick al offers a lot of like pictures and videos so I snuck some in

palace I kissed the thing what's the thing called I kissed it was Saint Seiya

say James you kissing game yeah you know what up

every else did it was spiritual it was cool it was dope anyway it was inside

this building if you program earlier so yeah good good stuff

we are in an Italian restaurant in Spain everyone speaks Italian and Spanish not

sure are we good we good see table time mucho oh we did we're

gonna fail yeah let's bureau so so far Spain is

awesome the people are lovely the food has been pretty since our privacy but

we're now moving into a battalion now we're in an Italian restaurant we're

gonna be kind enough Spanish alright yeah because we because we went we have

tea and we have like these little sliders we had cake it was used dope but

when we went to the bank I thought they were extra they look like home blue

bonds brand by Monday no no but it's this thing and it's cool and it's

something like you're always being fed here and I like that it's comfy like

always preferred this is the future Alex Alex and Metro playing bizarre rocket

League in the restaurant hey we're looking as minibar all weekend right so

there's this mini bar here in the hotel ignore the crop of the top okay so this

mini bar right Alex yelling Eva okay so greet you it's a slow-motion

pull back so there's a sick so in here we have two beers was it three was two

cokes and a packet of crisps or chips so we decided that we would do the whole

thing so we just went downstairs spend some of that YouTube money whoo - money

- money your mother hated that YouTube money so

we read those steps we said hey Quinn buy the whole box you're so confused

which is that okay let's do it and here we go

sweepa dark in here I just had a shower and I am so wiped I think I just gonna

wish myself in in England so well in Wales actually so okay I'll see you guys

and get back oh so I'm back in Wales boom that was like a long flight I've

got a bit of a cold because like the recycled air and the plane was just

gross anyway so I'm home this is a crazy trip

and I hope you guys enjoyed the journey I'll see you next time guys that's wrong

Chinese Mushroom Stir Fry ~ Easy Healthy Vegetarian Mushroom Stir Fry - Duration: 3:47.

Today I'm making a vegetarian stir-fry. I'm Tess and come join me as I make a

Chinese mushroom stirfry. If you like mushrooms you're gonna love this meal.

Stay tuned!

(intro music)

We got these beautiful cremini mushrooms from our neighbor Scott.

I have been busy making all kinds of mushroom dishes and today I'm making

a Chinese mushroom stirfry. I'm taking a towel wiping off the

mushrooms and slicing them into quarters to keep them a nice size and bite.

I'm also using some shiitake mushrooms in this recipe. I poured some warm water

over the shiitake mushrooms and let them set for about an hour then I remove the

stem and sliced. The stems tend to be a little firm. Just a reminder that you'll

be able to find this recipe, the list of ingredients and much more in the show

more section below. I've also included links where you can purchase online some

of the ingredients and equipment that I use in this video recipe. If you have a

chance please check it out. Next, I'm going to make the sauce. I have some

water and I'm adding in some light soy sauce and you can use liquid aminos, some

sweet chili sauce, ketchup, can't forget the garlic, minced ginger and finally

some sesame oil. Giving that a good mix.

So let's get started. In a large pan or wok on medium heat I'm adding in a

little olive oil, the baby Bella or cremini mushrooms and shitake mushrooms.

Cooking and stirring for four to five minutes and you will see the mushrooms

will start to give off some water. Adding in some diced onions and red bell peppers.

I kept the pieces a nice bite size. Cooking and stirring for

another two to three minutes. I love pineapple in a stir-fry and I happen to

have pineapple that needed to be eaten. Cooking is stirring for another couple minutes.

I really like the flavor and sweetness pineapple adds to a stir-fry.

You can add any vegetables that you like. Snow peas, zucchini, carrots and celery

would all be good in here.

Now adding in the sauce. Giving that a good stir. Cooking for another minute and

it's done! And it's that easy!

Serving tonight with some steamed jasmine rice and topped with some

chopped green onions and sesame seeds. I love the mushroom flavor and texture

in this stir-fry. If you like a little heat you could add in some red chilies.

You can taste the individual veggies and the pineapple gives it a pop of sweetness.

I hope you give this Chinese mushroom stirfry a try and enjoy.

[Szok] Jacek Rozenek i Roxi Gąska mają kryzys w związku. Dlaczego? || LVTszok - Duration: 3:58.

Jacek Rozenek i Roxi Gąska mają kryzys w związku. Dlaczego?

To Jacek wpadł na pomysł by zrobić z Perfekcyjnej gwiazdę.

A wtedy, kto wie?   Istnieje ryzyko, że ich związek runąłby jak domek z kart.

Tak jak 5 lat temu stało się to z Małgosią – wyjawiło źródło Gwiazd.

Myślicie, że jego obawy są słuszne?.

Erica Russell is an Adult Congenital Heart Disease survivor. This is her story. - Duration: 1:52.

My name is Erica Russell and I am an adult congenital patient.

I was born cyanotic, which is blue baby.

So my parents knew from the get-go

that I had health issues.

So when I was three days old I was brought here to UK.

I've been at UK my entire life.

Well, since I was three days old-- same thing.

The environment has always been great,

it's just the staff have always been friendly,

they're kind of like an extended family,

for the most part, because I've spent so much time with them.

So it's been recently the new group with Dr. Leventhal

and Jessica, they're pretty much just like close family.

So you have your related family and then

you have your medical family, which

is just as important because you have to know

who to ask some questions to.

That, as great as your relative family is, they're not doctors.

So it's always good to kind of have that life line to call

and ask that question when you don't understand

exactly what that result meant.

So having somebody to actually talk that

understands it is huge.

I don't see another surgery in the near future, or any

that I've been alerted to.

So I'm kind of in that point where

I'm just like anybody else walking down the street.

You don't know what's going to happen,

so you just kind of have to live every day to figure it out.

"Esse é o pregador que o Brasil realmente precisa ter" - Duration: 7:36.

The first time I saw and heard the preaching of Brother Eli,

it was something unforgettable in my life.

When I turned on my tv changing channels one by one

until it arrived in the channel Rede TV

where I put my eyes in Brother Eli,

as if my eyes left my head.

I was marvelled and I said,

"My God, this is the preacher that Brazil really needs to have!"

My name is Sister Zilda. I'm 59 years old.

I was born and raised without any religion, but my mother always led me,

when I was small, to the Catholic Church.

I didn't learn anything about the words of God.

I became an adult; I did not go to any churches at all.

So my life was very wrong, very wordly.

I was addicted to smoking.

Smoked almost two packs of cigarettes a day.

Drank beer on weekends.

Wore weird clothes.

So weird that it now makes me feel completely ashamed.

Then I met my husband; I have two children.

My children were also raised without knowing the word of God.

Because how would I teach them when I did not know either?

Until one day my husband got sick,

and with his death I felt very lonely.

My sons already have their own wives.

And me, I had no more husband, I had no one else.

So I started to seek God, desperately.

I went to the Igreja Universal where there had no teachings at all.

Very strange things, right? Weird teachings.

I was desperate, I did not believe it. I ran away.

I arrived home; weeped on my knees in my bed.

and I started praying to God asking where He is.

What should I do to find Him?

There I went to the Igreja Vida e Paz which is a denomination here in Brazil.

By the pastor's teachings

I realized that God was not there too.

I left that denomination.

The next Sunday I went to another church called Paz e Vida.

There I witnessed the pastor talking about things

that really shocked me once again.

I said, "Father, no, You're not in here also."

"You're still not in here."

I went out from there.

When another Sunday came, I was in another denomination,

Igreja Assembleia de Deus.

I saw the pastor preaching there, his way of preaching,

he used a verse and more within that verse,

he used it like a curse to the brothers within the church.

I witnessed him passing out in the pulpit.

He fell.

And the people who were there started spinning.

I was shocked. I said, "My Father."

"I believe that the Lord is not here also."

And I went home disappointed and cried a lot.

I said, "But Lord, where do I find you?

Where is the Lord?"

Until one day I took the remote control of my television.

Because I usually had a habit of switching channels by number.

On that day I did otherwise, going down there on the search channel buttons

until I reached the channel where Brother Eli was preaching.

And this for me was and is unforgettable.

- 4th of May 2009 - Baptized in the Church of God

All of us, Brazilians,

many members of the Church of God here in Brazil,

who today knew the truth through Brother Eli,

the majority who came from other denominations

at the time of the preaching of the false pastors,

many of them, if possible, gave even their clothings because of fear,

because of the wrong teachings they were taught, terrifying,

because of the devourer, right?

Because everyone was afraid.

So everyone gave his best, even gave what he did not have,

as good as going home without clothes, just to give to his pastor,

which was psychological pressure!

Now, when they came to the Church of God,

they stopped doing what they should do.

Because now we must do more.

Because now we feed on the truth, on the righteousness of God.

Right?

So even more so that we must have readiness in our hearts

to help with joy, as the doctrine teaches.

To help with joy in spreading the gospel

and help our preachers.

Because it's not fair

that they feed us with spiritual food

with so much wealth and with so much zeal and affection,

it is not fair that we do not participate in such a great task.

♫ When we met the Lord we had the peace of mind ♫

Thanks be to God,

we were called in to participate and to take part in this work;

a very wonderful thing.

Here in Brazil, we Brazilians still have a lot to learn on how to truly participate,

helping Brother Eli, helping Brother Daniel,

in this wonderful work that is the work of salvation.

We Brazilians need to learn a lot, grow spiritually,

be able to iniciate also,

and be part of this wonderful work

like what the Filipino brethren are doing which is something that

draws us close attention

Because they seem to be tireless people.

They are people we do not see complaining, grumbling, murmuring,

but are always doing with much love,

with much dedication to this wonderful work that is the work of God.

♫ Always trust in Him ♫

♫ Servants all we are ♫

♫ All His words we keep ♫

♫ Faith will keep us strong ♫

♫ Sail away as we ♫

♫ preach unto the world ♫

♫ And we shall love altogether, ahha ♫

♫ From one brother to another, ahha ♫

Ciao Ciao! Mua! xxx

That's actually a decent size

For one dollar

But you don't know how much liquor is in there

We don't know how much liquor is in here

Let's see how drunk she is after the drink

I'll let you know after three

Yeah let us know after 2 or 3

How strong it is for sure

We have our fish taco

We're going to get salsa seperately

What is this?

This is an ahi tuna

Tostada of some sort

That actually looks a lot better

Than this one

That one looks sad

But I want it

Okay go ahead

I want it so bad

Go ahead

I'm stealing Jons' taco because it's cochinita

Let's keep in mind it's only a dollar

Is it worth it

Yeah it is..

For one dollar

That's way better than I expected

It's pretty good

To much sauce

But..

But it's pretty good

Told you..

A fish taco

It's one dollar

That's my response

I mean that's a pretty good ratio?

It's a lot of fish

It just doesn't taste that great

Rob is tallying up

How much it would cost

To order every single thing on the menu

So just for the food

33 dollars if you want one of everything

Not including drinks

It's so great, you just buy the whole bar

Here you go guys

Of all the random things.. i think you could have on a dollar menu

They have po boys here

I got a shrimp po'boy

And a marlin taco

For my next two dishes

This is not New York City where it's dollar pizza

We've gotten some crazy varieties going on here

What do you think so far?

You're the Mexican at the table.

For one dollar

It's a pretty good deal

I like it

You can come with your friends if you're in college

And you don't have money!

This is a La Cubana Michelada

That's not bad at all actually

I don't normally like Micheladas

That is not bad at all

Now it's a Michelada

Now it's a real Michelada

Ahh better

We're going to spot number two

Which get this

Is not 19 pesos

It's 18 pesos

And when I came by here earlier today

I just discovered this spot a few hours ago

And the lady out front told me

Not only are we 1 peso cheaper

But we've got more variety on our menu

I'm pretty excited about this

I would go again for a beer

I would probably skip all the food

The tuna was okay

But I would probably skip it

Definitley just the beer

Some drinks maybe

Don't drink mojitos

You don't get alcohol in them

You think there's a 17 one block away

Keep going that way.. we'll get to like Cerverceria dos

Tequila.. Rum

Stoli.. that's not bad for 1 dollar actually

It's actually got a little ham on it

It's decent

But does not even compare

To a good dollar pizza slice in New York

That's all i'm going to say

What's this for? I asked for Brandy with coke

Brandy and coke.. okay

This was I think the best deal yet

A shot of stoli vodka

One dollar

Random observation by the way

What is it with the 80s music in both of these places

You are old..

Well I know I'm old.. but that's beside the point

They heard you were coming

So they played the music from your generation

They know you love this music

They know I love 80s music yeah..

What's your favorite 80s song?

They were playing something from Rocky 4

In the other place

That was pretty cool actually

Final thoughts on your dollar

Bar night

I think these two places are perfect for drinking

If you want to drink

Good.. beer

in the first one I liked beer in that one..

And I liked the cocktails.. the little shots with cola

Whatever.. in that one

Isn't that amazing they're located

Within 1 block of each other

Mr. Rob

Your final thoughts on this?

Agreed.. with all points

Stick with the beers

Cause you don't know how much alcohol you're getting in the other drinks

Unless you get the shot poured in front of you

Yeah beers were good

I mean the food was fine

Whatever, if you're hungry

Get a snack

Alright Members of the Barrio

We showed you two different spots

Where you could drink and eat

For $1.00

Each thing

Honestly if i'm going to spend a dollar on a taco

I would rather go to a really good taco spot.

Those two were totally correct

You have got to go with the drinks

When you are in there

Actually I liked the second spot

Where you could order like the shot

Of Stoli

Or a shot of tequila

For exactly 1 dollar

And mix it with something

I think that's your best bet

If you're going to these places

Come early in the night

With your friends

If you're going to pre-game

Then go out to another place

But certainly it is a novelty

And if you're going to visit Guadalajara

I do recommend you check out at least

One of them

I know Cerveceria Chapultepec is very famous

And their are tons of them

All over the city

Guys thank you so much for watching

Leave me some comments

Travel UK - Cheddar Gorge! Gdzie powstaje najlepszy ser na świecie? + [ENG SUB] - Duration: 14:42.

This is what a British village in the south of England looks like in mid September.

I am taking you for a trip around one of the most beautiful places in Great Britain

We are in Cheddar Gorge

Thankfully, the weather was just right for this trip. It wasn't too hot or too cold.

But more importantly, it wasn't raining!

...and that's a big positive in these parts.

WELCOME TO CHEDDAR! The city of cheese!

not just any cheese though,

cheese from here is among the best in the world.

In 2013, it has won an award for the best in the world.

Even today it is considered to be number 1 in Great Britain.

And if this wasn't enough, in this little town, you can buy the real cheddar cheese produced in the Caves.

This cheese is made from unpasteurised milk from local cows

The caves serve as a natural fridge by preserving the exact same temperature whole year

a whole year is how long this cheese needs to fully develop and taste amassing!

but we shall get back to the caves a little later.

Local shops are full of products made in Cheddar from the local milk and cheese.

For example cheese straws

Which were awarded gold and bronze medals on International cheese competition in 2012.

You can also find other snacks here, like spicy souses, jam chilly jam and more. Everything is available on tester tables.

We will also try marmalade from onion, pepper and a few other vegetables.

Red onion marmalade wins! Now just to pay and off we go...

It's time to visit the caves. A single ticket for an adult for all attractions cost it's about 20 pounds.

We have started from a small Cox Cave, in which recently a multimedia presentation about how our predecessors lived has been created

Compared to the next cave, this one is really colourful.

It's time for lunch!

Initially, we thought that this was a little porcelain shop.

but when we went in, it turned out to be the sweetest family coffee shop we have ever seen.

home made ice cream...

delicious coffee ...

and decorations straight from Instagram!

we felt like we were at grannies house

This is a real VINTAGE TEA ROOM where you can have a lovely cup of English tea and have a tasty snack.

This is what the map of the whole town looks like.

we have already been to the Cox Cave

and now it is time for the Gough's Cave

apparently it is one of the largest and the most beautiful caves in the UK

How about we check it ourselves, shall we?

Here we see the oldest skeleton ever found in England.

It is over 9000 years old and has been named the Cheddar Man

recently, his face has been reconstructed and this is what it looks like.

This is where the famous Cheddar Cheese matures

In the cave, you can also see a fairy-tale like ceiling and many rock formations.

On this massive wall, we have found a rock formation which looks like a person, look....

There must be no water container with no coins in it and so traditionally people throw coins here... but why??

On our way out, we have found an exposition of photos from the most amazing caved in the world.

Thailand...

Mexico...

Iceland...

Scotland...

and Chile

I must say that the two i liked the most are Scotland and Mexico, how about you?

We have visited another local shop.

this time, we are planning to buy good apple cider made from apples from the local farms.

you can find many products made with or to be eaten with apple cider.

peanuts, jams, biscuits

a few types of cider caught our attention and so to decide we have tasted some of them.

Now, we are going to Jacob's Ladder

it's 274 steps which we have to climb...

it will be hardcore ...

These stairs are the easiest way up to the top of the cliffs

at the top of the stairs, a lookout tower is located.

from the top of this tower, one can see the whole town

but unfortunately the tower itself is closed today.

we are almost at the second viewing point - the cliff edge

from which an amassing view can be seen but so far, trees are covering everything.

but we are almost there.

I must admit, that the 274 steps and about 15 minutes up a rocky mountain gave us quite a workout but it was definitely worth it!

sheep and goats can be found all over England and of course this place is not an exception

just look how beautiful place they are lucky to live in

This canyon is massive, one can walk around here whole day

not only here at the top of it but also down below where lovely footpaths can be found

you can find many sheep and goats on your way up

just look out for the .... poop :)

down below, the road from the beginning of this video is located.

this is what the largest gorge in the UK looks like.

it has been shaped by the melting glaciers about a million years ago

we are almost at the end of our trip

if you liked this video, give it a thumbs up and subscribe to our channel

if you have questions or you have also visited Cheddar, let us in know in the comments below

see you in the next video!

I will show you a few things we have bought in Cheddar

of course the real Cheddar Cheese is a must have...

all locals in Cheddar love apple cider

and so you can buy it almost everywhere

I also have peanuts in caramel from apple cider

freshly made apple cider from a local farm, sweet, with a little tap... just perfect for house parties.

fresh apple juice

also from local farms and local apples

really thick as you can see and most importantly healthy

I have already tried some of course because I couldn't resist.

it tastes great

juices like this should be on our tables every day

not the ones from large shops ... full of chemicals and sugar

juice like this will improve your immune system and give you all the vitamins you need

the next thing I've got is Red Onion Marmalare

it tastes great on bread or with crackers. I can definitely recommend it, it's great.

and finally the Chilly Jam

it looks more like a jello

but this is something my husband is going to eat because I am not a fan of spicy food

this is all we've got in Cheddar, I will dig into these peanuts now because I can't wait to see what they tastes like

and of course the cheese must be tasted
