Hello. I'm Ayaka Sugiura.

I'm a "cross-dressing" or "handsome girl" type model.

This time I did a makeup called "flashed face makeup". It's kind of girly makeup.

Hope you enjoy it.

Here we go.

The color contacts are "Airily -QUALITE 1 Day".

The color is brown.

The size is 14.5mm.

It's brown but pretty light brown.

I used this because it's cute and matches with our theme today.

The foundation is "Yves Saint Laurent -Encre de Peau Le Cushion B20".

It's a cushion foundation.

I usually use a cushion foundation.

Because I have a dry skin.

Cushion foundations are good for my skin type.

I usually put powder foundation afterwards.

I wanted it more like shiny skin then matte skin for the theme.

So I didn't use powder this time.

For the eyebrows, I used "K-Palette -LASTING 3 WAY EYEBROW PENCIL #04".

I usually drew eyebrows to go upwards.

But this time I wanted more girly look.

So I decided to draw them more horizontal.

Next it's "KATE -Designing eyebrow N light brown".

It has three colors.

I used the darkest brown and this light brown in the center.

I mixed those two and apply it with this brush to the part like filling out spaces.

Next, it's "KATE -Dual Blend Eyes SV-1".

I only use this black color.

So I drew the eye lines with a brush.

I usually do not draw eye lines.

But this time, to make the eyes to stand out,

I drew lines from the end to the center.

It's "CANMAKE -Perfect Styling Eyes #14".

This has red and pink colors.

I used this middle-torn pink on the upper side of eyelids,

then added this lightest pink, close to white,

In the middle of the pink and brown line to blend both colors.

Now it's "KATE -brown shade eyes BR-7".

I only used this white color on the right.

I put this from the inner edge of the lower eyelids to the center, along with the lashes.

It adds cute look.

Next it's "Dolly Wink -Pencil Eyeliner III Brown".

I used this to draw a very small part.

I just added small lines on the inner edges of eyes.

Maybe not many people notice, but it does make difference.

So I do this.

Now I curl eyelashes.

This is an eyelash curler from "KOJI".

It curls very well.

I always use this.

Now it's mascara. It's "FUROFUSHI -MOTE-MASCARA REPAIR BASE".

My natural eyelashes are very short.

So I used this base entirely on both upper and lower lashes.

It's "FUROFUSHI -MOTE-MASCARA REPAIR Long".

This time I wanted more length than volume.

So I put this over the base I put before and added length.

Next, it's for contouring.

It's "MAYBELLINE NEW YORK -V-FACE duo #01".

It has two colors and I used this brown part

on the cheeks and towards the edge.

Contouring the face line.

Then afterwards, with this white one,

Added highlights.

Now let's do the cheeks.

It's for both lips and cheeks, from"Candy Doll".

As I said, you can use this for both lips and cheeks,

but this time I used this only for cheeks.

This is the most important part of this "flashed face makeup".

Put this right under the eyes, a little higher than normal cheeks.

Then go straight, even on the nose.

It's better to put this a little strongly.

In that way, you follow our theme today.

Now the lips.

It's "Candy Doll -Lip Stick Lamune Pink".

This is like very light pink.

White-ish.

Like baby-pink, almost.

Today I wanted a cute look.

So I wanted to use colors like pink and red.

So I chose this for the lips.

Next, it's "CANMAKE -Candy Wrap Lip #01".

It's like a lip gloss.

This has a strong pink color.

I added this on the lips to add the color.

Along with today's theme, I wanted to change my hair.

So I chose this wig from "Airly", with this bright blond color.

I wanted to add more on the head.

So I chose this black hat to match with my black outfit.

How did you like it?

Because the theme is "flashed face makeup",

With this long type wig which I don't really wear usually,

And this off the shoulder outfit, it makes like girly cute look.

She's a student, she's a volunteer and she believes that the education

represents the roots of a healthy society: Ștefania Ureche.

Hello, everyone! I'm Ștefania Ureche and I'm in my final year of bachelor studies at the Faculty of Letters, here in Iași.

I'm here today as a former Erasmus student and a current ESN member and promoter of this

exchange mobility and I'm going to tell you why.

After I entered the University I felt, probably as any other youth of my age,

disoriented about my future and somehow I wanted to experience more of what this world has to offer.

Then I decided to apply for an Erasmus scholarship and go abroad to study.

Until now I can say that this has been the best decision in my life. Yeah.

Yeah. Ok. I will go... I'm going to tell you some things about the Erasmus program.

Maybe you know something about it. It supports education, sport, youth and training in Europe

and finds opportunities for over four millions Europeans to study, train and gain experience and volunteer abroad.

Ok. Firstly, it provides opportunities for students like studying or have a traineeship abroad.

They can also access Erasmus Mundus Degree and receive finance for Masters Degree abroad.

What is more: additional funding is available to students with physical, mental or health related

conditions and they have access to the same rights as any other student by the receiving institutions.

I have to say that in Romania is kind of impossible to do this because our universities do not

have the necessary equipment and facilities to help them out, unfortunately.

Then there are opportunities for teachers and businessmen

in training or teaching at higher education institutions.

What's important about this is that they can provide them with different perspective insights into

teaching methods and practices, business strategies and so on.

What's more about this program is that their projects are also for young people

that have finished their studies maybe.

There is Erasmus Voluntary Service, EVS, that allows people aged seventeen-thirty to volunteer abroad,

in different projects. This are available in areas such as social-care, culture, environment.

Then there are also youth exchanges that gives a group of young people opportunity

to meet and live together for up to twenty-one days.

They can expect to participate in all sorts of activities: workshops, debates, roll-plays and so on.

And last, but not least, youth workers have also the opportunity to go abroad for training courses,

job shadowing and so on.

Ok. How many of you have heard about the Erasmus Program?

Ok, quite a lot. And how many of you have actually participated in a project, Erasmus Project? Ok.

Thank you.

Maybe some people are not aware of the importance of this project, but I will give you some

reasons that might determine you to reconsider it.

On one hand it reduces unemployment, especially among young people.

For example, if I go abroad for a traineeship and I'm doing a really good job, the trainer,

yeah, the training provider might offer me a long-term job opportunity.

Also it promotes aid of learning. And by this I refer to new skills required by the job market,

like digital skills or language skills. Yeah. And also encourages young people to take

part in the European democracy and this is very important for the corporation and mobility

in the European Union's countries, but also in the ones outside Europe,

like the ones from Latin America or Asia.

Ok. What is ESN? ESN is Erasmus Student Network.

The biggest non-profit student association in Europe and it's being functioning for twenty-eight years now.

Its members work mainly on a voluntary basis and they provide support for approximately

two hundred thousand students.

I say they're mainly volunteers because the elected international board has to live in Brussels,

where is the ESN headquarters, for a year and they get paid for that.

In Romania we have eleven sections and the one from Iași, the one I'm part of, was founded in 2009.

ESN has many projects. ESNCARD, which is a membership card that provides access to all sort of

services.

For example, quite recently, this year, ESN has made a partnership with Ryanair,

witch agreed on providing 15% discount on eight single flights and also free-check in luggage of twenty kg

for each of this eight flights.

Then MOV'IN Europe ERASMUSINTERN, EDUK8, SOCIALERASMUS, HOUSERASMUS

and there is another one - Erasmus Without Paper. What is important about this?

On one hand, it supports and develops the student exchange from different levels and, on the other hand,

it provides an intercultural environment also to those who cannot access a period abroad,

because here, in our local section, we organise all sort of social and cultural events,

like trips, movie-nights, dinners, international dinners and so on.

So we get the chance to know each other and find out new things about the others.

Ok. Turning back to my story. It is very... it was very challenging.

When I left, I lost my flight connection and I had to wait in the airport of Barcelona for ten hours.

So, yeah. And then, when I got to my destination, witch was Vigo, Galicia.

I don't know if you heard about this. I didn't have my luggage, so I had to wait one week to get it back.

But I could manage all this. I didn't tell my parents, because I didn't want them to be worried about me.

And then there I had opportunity to live with three other girls: another Romanian one, a girl from

Germany and one from South Korea. And I think I'm very lucky because I got the chance to see

different habits, different ways of cooking and different ways of cleaning.

And sometimes I had kind of a cultural shock. Because they were doing things that were kind of unusual for me.

But I think this is why this experience was so enriching and I encourage all the young people to do

this, to take this opportunity.

What determined me?

One of the reasons that determined me to name my speech "Breaking Boundaries with Erasmus+"

was this - because ESN stands for unity in diversity. Also known for being European Union's motto.

And well... it's a kind of... you might expect also an informal education?

Yeah, because you go in another university to study, but they're using a lot of modern

practices and I was also interested in different subjects that here, in Romania,

sometimes are kind of not very approached. Let's say, for example, gender studies.

And I don't know... I think it might give us something to think about because we might understand

better some of the issues going on today.

Then... I think that, along the years, I've come to a conclusion that education is not necessarily

knowledge related issue, but what I like to say is that it is about stepping out of your comfort zone,

is about being brave and courageous, about speaking out your mind, whenever you feel like

doing it and this is what I learn since I came home back from Spain.

And I can say that I am really changed about my experience there.

And why I'm saying this is a good way to learn new things, by not necessarily feeling like learning them?

It's a way of learning about yourself, about the others and about the world.

For example, one evening the Korean girl wanted to share with us an episode from her country's

history and we watched a movie.

And she started afterwards telling us about the Japanese occupation of South-Korea.

Anyway, it led to a sort of antipathy between them. And I think that I haven't read about in books

and this was surprising for me to find out something that was told to me, like I haven't read about it anywhere.

And all this kind of experiences that made me appreciate this program and mainly

become an agent of this program. Now I want to point out some facts regarding the educational system.

As I said before, they have a lot of good things - also international teachers.

It was a pleasure working with them. I had an English teacher from Dublin.

Another thing that I want to mention, what I noticed is that their curriculum is based on...

mainly based on the ongoing phenomenon, witch I think is a very good thing.

And on the contrast, I think the Romanian Educational System is often wrongly placing

the spotlight on really outdated information, that doesn't serve us anymore and I think we need an update,

we need to change the perspective and we need to do it now.

As for the conclusion, I want to ask all of you to encourage your children, your students,

your friends to take part in an Erasmus project and go abroad because it helps you see things

differently and, well, you can come back anytime. It is not like you have to stay there.

And since I've never had deep fried pineapples before I knew then, but I had to investigate for myself

And since pineapples are yummy on their own I'm curious how much yummier they'll turn out

I can't wait... lets get cookin'

First we make the batter make a 3:2 ratio of water to flour

Time for the pineapples now

It's been a hot minute since I last used a can opener

millenials these days... Some of them aren't able to use can openers....

~ I'm barely able to use one myself... ~

every Time I use one I have to Remind myself how to use it

These ones are so easy to open up these del monte ones

so EZ Every time I use these I'm amazed at how well they're made

as I'm saying how EZ they are I'm totes making this look awkward

Times like these have been around since forever And the method for opening these as well

these things that still remain from way back are amazing.... or so I feel

Then we take our pineapple dipped in batter And deep fry it

I like how they've already got a donut shape

And once they get fried Did you nicely float to the top

I totes thought that pineapples Wouldn't float

Pineapples contain a lot of liquid So be careful of all the snapping and popping that result from that

They look good

Apparently it tastes better with a bit of salt

If you eat it with salt Is pretty much turn into tempura instad

That's an addicting balance of sweet and salty And the pineapple is made even sweeter after deep frying

It's so tasty after being deep-fried

It's yummy even without salt

And this is what they look like inside

It's so nice that you needed while still hot

So we made these with them sliced this way But you can also cut them down to smaller pieces

It'll be nice to have little snacks like this as well

When you bite down on a coating the juices from the pineapple just gush right out

The pineapples themselves are so sweet and with the dipping salt and the tasty batter

All combined together For an addicting taste experience

for reals though These pineapples taste way sweeter after deep frying

These cans pineapples are usually almost always on the sweeter side

It is quite possible that cutting up a regular pineapple and deep frying it would be yummier instead

~but I like sweet tasting things so thats why I liked it this way ~

I highly recommend this for those who are looking for New ways to enjoy pineapples

I only had an hour total to shoot this video so I kinda rushed things today

I feel like a load is taken off my back now that this is done

For the eyebrows, I used "K-Palette -LASTING 3 WAY EYEBROW PENCIL #04".

I usually drew eyebrows to go upwards.

But this time I wanted more girly look.

So I decided to draw them more horizontal.

Next it's "KATE -Designing eyebrow N light brown".

It has three colors.

I used the darkest brown and this light brown in the center.

I mixed those two and apply it with this brush to the part like filling out spaces.

Next, it's "KATE -Dual Blend Eyes SV-1".

I only use this black color.

So I drew the eye lines with a brush.

I usually do not draw eye lines.

But this time, to make the eyes to stand out,

I drew lines from the end to the center.

It's "CANMAKE -Perfect Styling Eyes #14".

This has red and pink colors.

I used this middle-torn pink on the upper side of eyelids,

then added this lightest pink, close to white,

In the middle of the pink and brown line to blend both colors.

Now it's "KATE -brown shade eyes BR-7".

I only used this white color on the right.

I put this from the inner edge of the lower eyelids to the center, along with the lashes.

It adds cute look.

Next it's "Dolly Wink -Pencil Eyeliner III Brown".

I used this to draw a very small part.

I just added small lines on the inner edges of eyes.

Maybe not many people notice, but it does make difference.

So I do this.

Now I curl eyelashes.

This is an eyelash curler from "KOJI".

It curls very well.

I always use this.

Now it's mascara. It's "FUROFUSHI -MOTE-MASCARA REPAIR BASE".

My natural eyelashes are very short.

So I used this base entirely on both upper and lower lashes.

It's "FUROFUSHI -MOTE-MASCARA REPAIR Long".

This time I wanted more length than volume.

So I put this over the base I put before and added length.

Next, it's for contouring.

It's "MAYBELLINE NEW YORK -V-FACE duo #01".

It has two colors and I used this brown part

on the cheeks and towards the edge.

Contouring the face line.

Then afterwards, with this white one,

Added highlights.

Now let's do the cheeks.

It's for both lips and cheeks, from"Candy Doll".

As I said, you can use this for both lips and cheeks,

but this time I used this only for cheeks.

This is the most important part of this "flashed face makeup".

Put this right under the eyes, a little higher than normal cheeks.

Then go straight, even on the nose.

It's better to put this a little strongly.

In that way, you follow our theme today.

Now the lips.

It's "Candy Doll -Lip Stick Lamune Pink".

This is like very light pink.

White-ish.

Like baby-pink, almost.

Today I wanted a cute look.

So I wanted to use colors like pink and red.

So I chose this for the lips.

Next, it's "CANMAKE -Candy Wrap Lip #01".

It's like a lip gloss.

This has a strong pink color.

I added this on the lips to add the color.

Along with today's theme, I wanted to change my hair.

So I chose this wig from "Airly", with this bright blond color.

I wanted to add more on the head.

So I chose this black hat to match with my black outfit.

How did you like it?

Because the theme is "flashed face makeup",

red color is the most important part of this makeup.

So to have a good and nice impact of the color,

try to put the color little bit stronger than you usually do.

With this long type wig which I don't really wear usually,

And this off the shoulder outfit, it makes like girly cute look.

It's girly cute but also little cool taste.

Defense mechanism is useful when people are cornered.

It is also useful when they don't feel good about something.

With this defense mechanism, they can feel less guilty or miserable every time they have

problems.

Moreover, it helps people to get rid of negative emotion that they may have.

Even though they may be just wasting time for solving their problem, defense mechanism

is always activated in disadvantageous situation.

For this, MBTI personality type has different defense mechanism to cope this problem.

Here is some of them.

#1 - INTP

They use intellectualization defense mechanism for letting logic and rational thinking for

emotional aspect of life.

This way, they will not feel guilty because what others think is irrational.

#2 - INTJ

They use rationalization to avoid problems by making reasons and justification even though

it means they will not learn how to solve such similar problem.

#3 - ENTP

ENTP uses a strategy called compensation for adding some positive values on the negative

and negative on positive.

This act of balancing things up give win-to-win condition even though it is usually not ideal.

#4 - ENTJ

Conscious thoughts and stressful emotions will be separated for keeping depression from

damaging the other areas.

It is a great tactic which only costs additional energy because of converting emotion.

#5 - INFP

They are basically incapable of solving problems, and that is why they tend to avoid it instead.

They basically bury down all of those feelings, but they can resurface when something related

They will feel guilty as their defense mechanism, and they try to fix the problem immediately.

Unfortunately, they sometimes do it with exaggeration.

This makes ISFJ in a devastated position in which recovery can take ages.

#15 - ESFJ

This one is like narcissistic behavior.

They project undesirable characteristics to other people who do not suffer them.

#16 - ESTJ

They like to oversimplify the issue, and they will go any way they choose without looking

back after they have made decision.

However, they won't reflect on what they have done, disabling them to get appropriate

improvement if similar issue comes up.

[EN] Chicken Tagine With Caramelized Onions / طاجين الدجاج بالبصل - CookingWithAlia - Episode 643 - Duration: 2:31.

Hello, today we are going to make a simple and delicious chicken tagine with caramelized onions.

First, peel the onions

and slice them into thin slices

Place half of the onion rings in the bottom of the tagine

put the chicken pieces on top

then cover with the rest of the onion rings.

Time to add spices: salt

pepper

ground ginger

ground cinnamon

and ground turmeric.

Drizzle some vegetable oil.

Drain the raisins from their soaking water and scatter them over the chicken.

Cover the tagine and let it cook on medium-low heat.

You will notice that the onions and chicken will release their liquids.

From time to time, pour some of the sauce on top of the chicken.

If necessary add a bit of water.

After around one hour, when the sauce thickens and the chicken is almost cooked, add the honey.

Gently mix the raisins within the sauce.

Cover and continue cooking for another 15 minutes.

Our tagine is ready!

GM's decision to shut Gunsan plant is expected to severely damage local economy - Duration: 2:59.

GM's decision to close down its plant in Gunsan represents another blow to the port city on

the west coast,... which has already seen big job losses after the world's biggest shipmaker

packed up and left.

It's not just those who work for GM who are in a tough spot.

As our Shin Se-min reports, the fallout will affect contractors, and every person whose

business is connected to the plant.

It's a grim new reality for Gunsan.

Many were already struggling, but now they are likely going to go under... if the U.S.

auto giant makes good on its pullout decision.

If a compromise is not reached with the South Korean government,... the shutdown is projected

to affect 50-thousand people -- the 15-thousand employees, first-and-second-tier suppliers

as well as their families and other residents in the small city on Korea's western coast.

Gunsan has had a rough time of it of late... with Hyundai Heavy Industries shutting down

its shipyard in the city just last year.

"The GM facility accounts for nearly six-and-a-half percent of Jeollabuk-do Province's economic

output.

Its departure would be even worse for this region than Hyundai leaving."

The bus drivers that ferry the GM workers to and from the factory say they are already

looking for new jobs.

"There's no way out.

I have kids to support and debts to pay.

I don't know what I'm going to do."

And it doesn't end there.

. "This relatively small industrial town is

racked with uncertainty,… over fears the economy will turn south due to thousands of

people losing their jobs."

Nearby shops and restaurants that mostly cater to GM workers are either slashing their operating

hours or even just closing altogether.

"We've cut operating hours but still there aren't enough customers.

We spend most of the time just sitting around."

The property market is in the doldrums as well,... newly-built residential buildings

sit vacant and have done so for weeks, months even.

Responding to the crisis,...

President Moon Jae-in has ordered the government to designate Gunsan as an "employment crisis

area," calling for urgent measures to help local residents.

The move comes as GM and government officials in Seoul continue to try and thrash out a

deal to save the factory.

However,... the city of Gunsan -- with its run-down buildings and empty streets -- will

need more than just a quick fix.

The residents here are desperate for a long-term solution to help them overcome their economic

woes.
