I get to ask Bill the questions.

So Bill,

I was wondering what

lessons from your golf career

translated into your

business ventures.

I thought that was going to be a hard one.

Thats a lay up Gabby.

You know I think it's actually a really good question.

I think all aspects of our lives

and probably somewhat

with you and you're running career.

And I think you swam in high school

and college right.

And. For me it's really

I think it's kind of deeper than golf.

It's about growing up as an only

child without a

father and not having kind of that

coach that presence

and I think you guys as my employees probably

see that more than they do on the other side of the

camera and how I.

Manage and run myself

and everything

but I think it's about the independence.

That I learned

and not being in the team sports I played

and excelled in soccer

and basketball and baseball.

Leading up to golf.

I didn't have a coach.

I didn't have.

An influence.

I got started in the Big Brother program

because I didn't have a father

and my big brother left about nine months

after he got me starting to play

and moved to San Francisco.

So I was kind of on my own

and my mother was a

vice principal at a high school.

In a town called Shafter California about 25

30 minutes outside of Bakersfield was doing

summer school.

I'll never forget it was really between my seventh

and eighth grade year.

She would drop me off

at 7:00 in the morning

and she would go and you know do the summer school

stuff and pick me up at like 430

and I was at the golf course on my own

all day so I have to have the discipline.

One to be independent enough to you

know in seventh grade to be alone all day

to the discipline to actually get something

out of that and that.

And so I worked

with Joe Haggerty who is the head

professional there.

Never forget them.

And he kind of helped me put a plan together.

And I'm going to do this in the morning

and I'm to play with the old guys

and they taught me etiquette of the game

and all of those things

and then I would work on my short hair

and then I would practice my long

game I'd go to the range I'd hit balls

and when to take breaks I mean kind of built this plan

you know for me and I think that's one of the big things

that you know I see

and you guys probably get sick

every day you know do you ever process

with you a plan for this

or harp on you guys about plans

and process and commitment

and communication and all those things.

And I think that's something that's been very beneficial

in my life. You guys have seen my calendars.

I mean I don't use project management software

like you do.

But you're familiar with SLA I have

with my wife.

We have our life plan tied

into our business plan and.

Every single decision that we make

from finances to kids

education and to starting businesses

to vacations to what we do all ties into

that plan. So at the end of the day if I wouldn't

have had That in golf

and it manifested through high school

and manifesting when I was at UCLA even though

I was there for a short time

and I dropped out to turn professional

but when I turned professional kind

of like being an entrepreneur

and a business owner it was very

similar in this sport because in

golf.

If you don't play well

and if you don't perform on Thursday

and Friday you miss

the cut. You know what happens when you miss the

cut Gabby.

You don't get paid.

So you don't get paid.

So I still have my hotel cost I have

my travel costs my food my fuel my caddy

expenses all of those things I

still have to pay. So you actually lose money for the

week if you don't make it to

the weekend and actually get paid.

And I think that's something that there was this

kind of sadistic you

know appeal to that for golfers.

Right. And you know there's

it was much easier to win a golf

tournament than it was to make the cut.

So when you're coming down Friday

and you're on that number your one

shot you're one under you know the cut's going to

be even you are nervous as shit.

Playing on 16 17

and 18

and we've all seen in sports

where soccer football basketball

teams they get a lead the Atlanta Falcons in

the Super Bowl not this year

but last year when they blew the lead against

the Patriots on that because they get protective.

And.

So I think I learned at an early

age to be aggressive in those

situations

and to learn to keep pushing forward

and win.

And I think those that those are things that once again

you guys see everyday living this

with me.

I don't let you guys have it easy.

Ever

and ever it is pushing pushing

pushing every second every

hour every day and it's the same thing

with me I'm an all in

or an all out.

And right now I am all in on

you guys and I'm all in on what we're doing

at Limo University.

Lab live and all that type of stuff

and I was all in on my health

and my weight for three

and a half years

and I've been out for about

three months I can't sustain in that

middle ground.

So I think learning who I was as

an individual through golf.

Manifested into my business career

how to plan how to commit how to be independent

and most importantly how I operate

as a human being is

what I learned.

This vote is an unmistakable sign that at any rate, a few legislators are tuning in.

They are shocked that such a training is permitted in the United States.

At long last, we are seeing leaders stand firm.

DOUBLE THE TROUBLE! | Beer Review - Captains Daughter & Citradamus - Duration: 9:08.

welcome to a double double IPA review why am i yelling I don't know I'm just

gonna yell I'm just kidding I'm not gonna do that the whole time boy do I

have a treat for you we're having double double IPAs today we're having Citroen

Thomas by Melvin and then we're also having captain's daughter by grace ale

brewing these are both supposed to be pretty good and I said hey I want to try

some pretty good so we're gonna try some pretty good I don't know what you want

to start with so I'm just gonna flip a coin

I'm gonna use my change jar I think I got a quarter out of that don't want to

use pennies I prefer to use quarters because pennies make my hand smell weird

it's like making out with somebody that smokes too much they taste like pennies

oh yeah give grandma a kiss okay anyways flipping the coin oh I didn't decide

which one I want to be heads or tails idiot

let's do sit Radames heads and then captain's daughter as tails that's

ironic cuz she's a mermaid I did that on purpose

tails it is I'm gonna go over to my pouring station and we can initiate slow

motion beer pour phase one yeah

let me just say something real quick before I start kind of going into the

review rambling keep in mind as I say this stuff this is my experience you may

experience something's totally different taste is totally subjective and your

mouth will taste things that are different or you'll taste things that

are similar but I am trying to get better at reviewing beer and kind of

understanding the notes and flavors that I'm tasting so I'm kind of taking you

guys along that journey as I learn more about craft beer so if you hear

something that's incorrect please by all means just be like a poopy poopy you you

said it wrong you gotta say it like this as you complete it's got a nice slowly

receding head on it the first sip I had was extremely bitter after my second sip

it actually felt more well-rounded but what I can say with the smell in that

first taste the first thing you notice is citrus it's definitely well bodied I

would say it's a juice bomb and I wouldn't say it's overly dank either

it's it is citrusy though its citrusy bitter a little bit of tartness and then

at the very end the lasting notes that are in my mouth are actually more of

like the malty multi-side I'm a little bit of that sweetness that you get it is

perfect for the ocean because as you sip it that warm citrusy bitterness goes

down into your belly and it just makes you poop all over the boat as you can

see it's got some wonderful icing almost like sand on a beach which is convenient

cuz I'm drinking captain's daughter but in all seriousness no duh it is a it is

a very good beer if you are more into they'll like the bitter e beers I would

I would recommend that and again that is called captain's daughter it is by

Grails Grail fell brewing it is by Grey sale brewing here located in the great

state of Rhode Island it is currently 8.5 percent alcohol by

volume a bit higher as you tend to have with

the double IPAs but it is a fantastic beer and I do recommend it it gets the

hoppy pixel seal of approval so check them out join next on our wonderful list

way I hope this is recording Shae is this recording mm-hmm it is ah

next on our double D featurette is Citra Damas by Melvin I don't know if it's

Melvin brewery or Melvin beer company or Melvin who Z what's it

I gotta go to my beer pouring station again now the one thing I noticed right

away is the color this is like a dark amber oh wow the first the smells are

unreal dank citrusy hops that is all I'm smelling right now you can see the head

on this recedes a lot faster than the other one Oh Oh daddy that is so good

that is a dank ass beer the first thing that I taste dank with a complimentary

citrus Ness citrus eNOS yes it's a word very slight bitterness and back of the

back of the mouth a complimentary it's not too much it's not overwhelming it

goes along well with the journey of the beer that you're having why did I do

that voice there's so many better voices I could have done it complements the

journey of the beer that you're having mm-hmm all joking aside citrusy dankness

and then it tapers off very gently into a more multi sweetness that's what I'm

getting at the end and then I get that little bit of bitter eNOS at the back of

the tongue and back of the mouth I love the can our two little Citra

Damas and he's got his telescope in notebook he's an orange it's clever the

aftertaste I'm getting a little bit of a little bit of grapefruit maybe look at

the lacing on that bitch my friends when you drink this you are tasting the

journey you're tasting the journey with me you understand what I'm saying you my

friends are tasting the journey when we drink this beer okay I feel like this

might have Oh 9.5% that's why I'm feeling good right now

ah ha ha the speakers fantastic it's like a super well-rounded experience and

that's what I go for that's actually the thing that drives me and trying new

hi guys this is Dino here with the GD review again and doing another this is

an unboxing video the review is going to be about not product but about the

company that it's a chi ship from the country is a global central UK it's an

online company that is a start-up Hong Kong but they have Depot's within the UK

and various different places so like I said this isn't about the product it's

about the company what I'm reviewing now is I'm obviously receive my item in

quite quick time some will give you a short review as it seems to be quite a

lot of complaints regarding the company in question I've seen companies are

gonna get complaints when people that elekid's reasonable time and

they don't get the information is is it his key to the point of this video the

item I actually ordered was ordered on the 11th of February I received on

Friday the 16th it was basically delivered around about 12:30 ish and it

was delivered pretty pretty quickly I mean that they said six to eight days I

did purchase the extra sort of like the insurance on the shipping

they didn't say express shipping on it just basic city insurance for the for

the item to be covered against damage in transit and lots in funding which I

should imagine they would be technically after cover anyway and we've got to the

project thingy I received it end pretty pretty firm thought at that time I was a

bit skeptical because there was a few items that I actually ordered with the

project now the items that I actually ordered was a tripod which

didn't come in the actual jiffy bag it was actually in the box and we want to

look tiny you know it's it's in that I was a bit skeptical cuz obviously that

wasn't delivered with the actual item you know set in a jiffy bag

apart from what you see on the screen it was bubble wrapped it with program

pretty Wow well secured in the bar in the jiffy bag inside the Joker bag was

the box now the box wasn't sealed and I understand the reason why the box wasn't

sealed went when I received it per se I do believe they they swap out I don't

know if they swap out the instructions but they obviously need to put other

things in there like gear the lighting

so the memory with the memory card on page 32 big but

I have got the memory cards I use as well now the reason why they actually

own the box I believe is to change the institution so now I might be wrong

about the instruction because all the instruction was in English store was you

know no foreign instructions in amongst the the item and also the another reason

why they would actually do that is to put in a plug Europeans or I could plug

adapter so I could use use the actual charger for the battery the battery

charger I mean I'm very happy to say the product is is in mint condition it's

brand new unused and I have registered at the Canon for their warranties wow

I'm not too sure if their warranty would it would cover being obviously an

imported item everything on it seems to be written in English even the under

near underneath obviously it's on some of the box and exterior there is there

is some foreign writing but I would expect that with them with

we believe they are a natural pollen company and they do obviously put

different institutions which one the noxious which brings different boxes for

each country they're gonna print out a mass-produced box that would have

translations inch being that want to save you

in that instance I mean I can understand why they do that bucket celebrity was

new you got the you got the actual back over there and the battery the battery

lasts quite a long time I've been using I have been using a camera this is

obviously on the screen with the item I've got no complaints with guys check

the a global central UK at all I probably will use them again because the

price that I had to pay for this was 405 pounds

how much UK pounds the price on 20 on Amazon was 559 so I saved about a

hundred a hundred and I mean I did have another ten pound ten pound off the

actual items I spent over 400 pounds so you could say probably I had the idea

for less and less than 300 pounds so I saved about 130 pounds bitty I'd say

hundred and forty pounds to give it a wasn't I didn't have to calculate how

much I'd save but I know it was over the end of power mark which was good in my

books I mean if I wanted to purchase a camera with just sleep without the

without the lens on Amazon UK Amazon I would still pay just below four five

hundred pounds for the item so it's good so the kind of the camera that I

actually have have purchased and I will put a link in the description it's a

Canon EOS a 200 D the International Version is the rebel s out to as you

believe so if you purchase it in the US I think you you'd get the hundred day

and that you either import it but you'd get the SL unity about to do the rebel

but is the same camera it's not different it's not a different camera

it's just writing on the camera but it is the same camera in any case basically

this camera is is also it's and you've got really smart focus the two camera

type in question is very good for bloggers youtubers if you want VP one

quite an easy life worthy with next edge is real SLR it's got smart focus and not

only that it takes two types of lenses so the two types it takes is EF and I'm

not too short the other lenses I didn't lunch to do my research before I did

same information to sit in times F so basics just kept updating you the same

information until it got to about Thursday and then it said I received a

message this was early in the morning that the item was at the courier and

basic then obviously detect and I think there's a text message or an email and

what you saw I think was a text message with a link into DPD which it was

eventually given that delivered by the you can be around fifty four o'clock on

the Friday so like I said only waited about a week for the item or three items

or a fake I will more than likely use it again for I would you have to see what

if they've got to sit in that catalog purchase but definitely

your home if you want to get a decent camera this would be the digital camera

for you and there's a lot of good lenses out there to buy for the camera the key

is it takes two types of moments which is completely awesome and it is a

mirror camera so it's only weighs about a pound so but I hope you've enjoyed

Carnival. The word itself has an obscure origin,

but the most certain derivation could be the medieval Latin carnem levare or carnelevarium,

which means to take away or remove meat.

This was a medieval concept

indicating that Carnival is the final festivity before the commencement of Lent,

A period of many deprivations, especially red meat.

But Carnival origins, just like its name,

are also obscure, and comes from many different cultures, times, and places,

not only medieval Europe.

Last year I travelled to Germany,

exactly during Carnival Season trying to escape from it.

And in the moment I arrived a person said to me

'that's nice, you'll love German Carnival, we are having our parades!'

Me and my ignorance didn't know that there was a Carnival season in Germany.

But today Carnival is celebrated in the five continents.

So one of the origins of this season, celebrated today in the five continents,

it's the Saturnalia. Roman festival to honour Saturn.

just like the Greek version, Kronia, celebrated in honour of the titan Cronos,

Saturnalia was the liveliest festival of the Roman calendar.

But who is Saturn?

Saturn in the Roman pantheon is the equivalent of Cronos in the Greek pantheon,

so Cronos is Saturn, and Saturn is Cronos. Right?

Cronos was the titan that controlled time,

and was sent to the depths of Tartarus by his son Zeus,

that defeated him after he mercilessly devoured his children,

brothers and sisters of the king of Olympus.

When in the Roman belief he became Saturn,

he became more than the Lord of time.

Romans believed that Italy had in the past a 'Golden Age',

in which Saturn was the king.

and presented the inhabitants at the time with agriculture,

and the laws that would keep this society alive, prosperous, and organised.

When the god-king misteriously vanished,

that population kept his lessons.

And what happened during the Saturnalia?

What happens in Saturnalia, stays in Saturnalia.

Originally it was celebrated only on December 17.

But it was such a popular feast that it was extended to seven days, 17 to 23 of December,

and resisted for seven days despite efforts from some Emperors to reduce the length of the celebration.

And who was one of them? Caligula. Caligula!

The man whose life was an eternal Saturnalia!

I can even imagine Caligula in his chambers, surrounded by marble and gold,

throwing a hissy fit after not being able of reducing the lenght of the feast.

I'm the only one who can celebrate every day. Me, me, MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

But he didn't succeed, because it was the roman's favourite feast,

when they were allowed to relax,

and do thing that wouldn't be acceptable in other periods.

And probably, like modern Carnival, there must be lots of things to be 'unseen'.

'Unsee'.

Switching identities, for example,

was widely appreciated and practiced.

Just like in modern Carnival, people were able to wear costumes,

and to be for seven days, whoever they wanted.

Slaves were temporarily freed,

and treated like equals, as a way to remember the 'Golden Age',

when slavery didn't exist.

They were allowed to rest the seven days,

to wear fine clothes, to sit at the head of the table,

and even to be the candidate for mock king,

or 'King of Misrule', or in latin, 'Saturnalicius princeps',

a kind of 'Brazilian King Momo' of the time.

And if elected, they would have authority under the house they served.

Social inversion? Slaves wanting to be king?

In addition to that, there were sacred rituals like sacrifices,

The Forum, Ancient Rome great centre of power.

Housed many building of vital importance for the Roman society.

During the 19th century, this region began to be excavated,

revealing these buildings, among them, the imposing Temple of Saturn,

built in the 5th century BC, used for rituals during the Saturnalia.

There are so many buildings present in the Forum that the excavations are still being carried out

and many artifacts are still discovered.

For being celebrated in December, Saturnalia also ended up influencing Christmas and New Year celebrations.
