On today's menu, we have a new Cyberpunk 2077 video for you and no cam, I'm sorry,

I look so horrible today that I wouldn't make it through YouTube antivirus

So, as I don't want your phones to crash, that'll do

So, on today's menu instead of giving you the news what I'm going to do is asking

for your opinion, because, to be completely honest, we reached a point where I am not

sure anymore if I see Cyberpunk 2077 everywhere or this really is a thing

The thing is that the lovely W84CP2K77, yes that was a username, and a very nerd one,

I love it, this lovely person sent me this video: A DELL EMC commercial featuring CD

Projekt RED and their Warsaw offices that talks about the relationship between these

companies, the powerful computers that were used to make the Witcher, and all this megacorporation

speech, all filmed inside the offices of CD Projekt RED

And then this

Well, probably that was a little too dramatic, but believe it or not this represents very

well how thoughts form in my head

So this lovely user sent me this saying that he believed there could be the map of Cyberpunk

2077 there, I saw this, and my first thought was, well, there's OBVIOUSLY a map there,

but it clearly says Witcher Wild Hunt, it's impossible that someone whose username has

the words Cyberpunk 2077 on it can confuse a map of the Witcher with a Cyberpunk map

But this is clearly the map of the Witcher with a poster of a dragon at its right

But, what a dragon, right?

A slightly odd dragon, considering that its head looks a lot like Del Coronado Bay according

to the map of Night City that we can find on page 14 of the Night City sourcebook

And you could say, holy shit Madqueen, you're fucking paranoid, this is just a dragon with

some kind of orange pendant in the ear that, what a coincidence, it looks a lot to the

part of Night City that's still suffering from the nuclear fallout caused by a nuke

that exploded at the end of the 4th Corporate War at Arasaka's arcology in the corporate

center of Night City 65 years before the action of the video game takes place, so this dragon

is so fucking specific

So in here, I need your opinion, do you believe that we're seeing the map of Cyberpunk 2077

or a dragon?

Am I seeing things that are not there?

In this dangerous world

where competence strives to destroy what you treasure the most

There's an ally you can rely on

The number one agency with the highest class operatives

and the largest and more reliablie catalogue of arms and equipment

In one hand, I would rather that this is a dragon and not the map, because if this is

the map of the game, I'm sorry to be the woman who tells you that I expected it to be bigger

Well, if this is the map most probably this is one of the zones, like in the Witcher that

you had in one hand the whole map and then from there you could go to the different zones selected

But again, I want your thoughts on this: map or dragon?

Second Season

Global warming is the rise in global temperatures

the change is undeniable, is everywhere

record temperatures in all corners of the planet

and the cause? US

All human activity releases greenhouse gases

greenhouse gases

such as carbon dioxide produced by fossil fuels

make the energy from our sun

that was normally reflected in space

get trapped in our atmosphere.

Normally this is a good thing

since otherwise it would be a frozen and lifeless planet.

But we overreached

and we are breaking the delicate balance of life on earth

This is a graph of the increase in average temperatures on our planet

and this is one of the increase in carbon dioxide emissions

produced in billions of tons in the last century

compared to

predictions made by the intergovernmental panel on climate change

made in 2000. They are very similar, are not they?

Planet Earth has ways of self-regulating its carbon dioxide levels

all plant life, whether terrestrial or marine

consumes carbon dioxide to release oxygen

but we are clearing forests at an alarming rate

Man has cut down forests since the invention of agriculture

and has never ceased

nowadays an area equivalent to the one in Greece is cut down every year

and that area usually is burned, releasing even more carbon dioxide

Another great regulator of carbon dioxide is the ocean

through what is called the oceanic carbon cycle

which through the dissolution of carbon dioxide

sedimentation and photosynthesis of plant organisms

is capable of taking large quantities of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere

but we do not want to leave any loose ends

so lets destroy the oceans by contaminating them and leaving large uninhabitable areas

not only that, the speed with which we are generating carbon dioxide

is saturating the ocean

making it more acidic and killing the same phytoplankton

that feeds on carbon dioxide

A but carbon dioxide is not the only greenhouse gas that we produce

but the most abundant, the most dangerous greenhouse gas

that we produce is methane

methane is 20 times more efficient in retaining the sun's heat

and currently contributes to the 15% of global warming

the extraction and combustion of natural gas

and garbage dumps generate methane

but more important is that generated by livestock

this in its digestion generates methane gas

which is released in flatulence and burps

annually generate more than 115 million tons, a quarter of the total we produce

and not only generate methane gas

but also nitrous oxide which is 289 times worse than carbon dioxide

In total, global livestock generate 18% of greenhouse gases

and generate more global warming than all modes of transport combined

In addition, the rise in global temperatures

is melting the permafrost of the tundras

The 350 billion tons of carbon that have been emitted

due to the entire combustion of fossil fuels

and human activities since 1850

are nothing compared to the

1.4 trillion metric tons

of carbon dioxide and methane

that are trapped in the permafrost and that could be released if it melts

That is why it is feared that if we continue like this

we will reach a point where climate change is irreversible

that there is no turning back

that no matter what we do, the planet continues to heat up

wildly until it becomes like Venus

a planet with a greenhouse effect monstrous, a hell devoid of life

And we were talking about that we're the boss,

we're going to get rid of all the walls

So that's the main point of our "BOSS"

The main topic of this song again is

connection and how we have something in common

and that we're all in sync and we're on to this together

I'm not saying that

I'm impressed with what I wrote,

but I'm just happy that I got to write something

that I can really relate to personally

And I really believe it was,

I was really genuine with it

It was more authentic than any other lyrics

that I wrote about

but this was something that

My first tip. Authentic digital marketing. People will see right through you if you

are not being authentic to who you are. Yes because you can't be

Eric. You can't be Laura. You can't be all of these other leaders that you are

seeing today. You have to be the best version of you and that will come across

from day one. And we do have to fail forward and we have to try out what

works for us. I go back to some of my first facebook posts when I had like two

likes and I thought yeah that doesn't sound like me.

So, I had to switch something. So you need to live your life out loud.

Has anyone been a pretty private person in their lives? Did you start in a

pretty private manner when you started this business? That was me. I would post

probably one album every two months three months. Either we were having a kid or

we're moving for the military or something that was it. But I learned I

needed to start living out loud. I needed just people to see the good, the bad. What

my days looked like. What my life looked like and that was a shift for me, but it

was the best thing I could have done. I love Instagram story. It's been a

powerful way. There are so many people watching me and it cracks me up because

you can see who's watching you. And I'm like I know that this is gonna bless you one day.

Because they're watching me. But I want them to see what my days look like. I want

them to see what's life in the life of Laura building this Network Marketing

business and Instagram live has allowed me to do that. But you have to be okay

living out loud. They've talked so much I'm not going to talk about it

anymore because the training up here has been so valuable, but going live. Again,

that makes people feel like they're sitting across from you having a

conversation. My husband and I have done some lives and what it does is it makes

these people in this digital world feel closer to us.

I TRIED TO FOLLOW A COLOUR CREEP MAKEUP TUTORIAL - Duration: 10:00.

let's welcome back to my channel so today I am doing a video on the I tried

to follow a like Blanc Blanc makeup tutorial today I'm going to be doing

Kimberly Margherita otherwise known as color creed makeup tutorial on this

melty metallic look that she just posted on her channel so I have it playing on

my phone and we're gonna get started so she starts with her base done so I

already have my foundation concealer powder on and she is using a little

denim dress from NYX I know some people have it playing like up in the side here

as well but I don't know how to do that and I don't want to get like copyright

infringement so I'm using little denim dress like she does here and I'm taking

a little brush and she's not just stipple so I chose this tutorial because

I do have a lot of the same products or dupes for the products she used so that

is why I want to do this one I thought about doing Jeffrey star 1 and but I

don't have nearly the amount of products that he has in order to do the full-on

tutorial like that all I have is a highlighter and a couple liquid

lipsticks so

yeah and I know it doesn't have to be like perfect but I want it to look

somewhat similar bring in a little bit more okay so now I'm going to switch

colors I'm gonna do one eye and then do the other eye off camera just because I

think that's gonna work the best now I am taking respect to the pink from next

she's a sugar pill the new little twins lip liquid lip but I don't have that so

I'm going to take this so wash my brushes anyway so I figured I would just

like destroy the ball well so I just filmed another video today all about my

weight loss my fitness kind of it's kind of like the precursor to anything I talk

about when it comes to just kind of blending these together here um when it

comes to fitness mental health my relationship with food all of that and I

realize it's very very rapidly so when I do post it I might have to kind of cut

some stuff even though I initially say like I didn't want to cut any of it I'm

realizing as I put this on this is much brighter than her colors but it's the

same concept so that's what matters we're just so much more pastel and mine

is more neon I think definitely because of the pink and she may have mixed in

some stuff with the blue I'm not sure but there is that so far I think it's

super pretty especially when it comes together on her face it looks really

really nice so the next thing she used is a yellow shadow and I will have to

grab one so I will be right back hello so I decided I'm going to replace

it with purple and this is zwei from NYX and I'm just going to pick

some of this up and starts nibbling on hopefully it's not too similar to the

pink no you can't help it right and I'm just using like regular makeup brushes

I'm not using paint brushes or anything special I'm not mixing anything in with

these Josh liquid lipsticks but please make sure that they are eye-safe or that

you don't have a reaction to them I have done this multiple multiple multiple

times so I don't have to worry about it as much cuz I already know how my skin

reacts I think she did is pop some of this like teal I think it was an acid

berry in the video but I'm just gonna take in the next morning from NYX and on

the inner corner I want it to be like a brighter teal so I think might use my

finger just because this will kind of pop it out more okay I think it looks

like to meet almost but we'll see how it looks so I'm gonna do the other eye and

then I'll come right back to finish up the tutorial I have like the paint part

done I'm going to highlight and she just used her finger and so much sugar pill

highlights so I'm going to use my honest Accio at Beverly Hills highlights

because there are similar colors so I'm just gonna use my finger like she does

and going to a ryan and top this on top it's not quite exactly like hers but you

know it's close and then I'm going in with spectra on top of running out of

fingers I'm going in with Aluna overtop of the purple and for the last one I

think I'm gonna go in with Helia and that's the kind of yellow shade put that

over top of the green mists way it looks a little bit different than the other

blue shall we do the other side it's now I'm going to do my eyebrows as she used

white and I think she just used like a white eye base so I'm going in with the

NYX white eye base in white on a liner brush because that's all I have I think

she use a spoolie but this works too

okay I think this looks pretty similar I'm gonna check back to the video real

quick all right so then she put on white mascara and I'm just using my voluminous

primer because this is the only like white mascara I have you know it's just

like a primer it does make your lashes pretty white then she took some white

paint and kind of splattered it all around and then did some hard to find

dots I don't have my white paint with me so I'm just going to do the dots with

the eye base

yeah I can just like kind of create this thing splatter

you

so I blended some out with my finger just so that they looked a little bit

more splattered and I'm a little less perfect I still feel like my lashes look

too dark so I'm gonna hit them with primer again like going on the back of

the lash - there we go that's now time for the lips

so she contours with some pink shadow I'm going to grab something to do that

but first I'm going to take my lips and I am going to use this color here she is

just kind of a soft pink I'm using so I had to switch to my phone because my

camera decided to just stop working so I am going to finish this look off with

some blush I'm just gonna take a very small amount here she goes up into the

hairline with it like she just basically used it as her contour so it's just

going to be pink rather than like a tan or something and she did her jawline as

well alright so this is it this is my attempt rate creating a color creep /

Kimberly margaritas melty metallic face paint whatever you want to call it I'm

not quite sure the title of the video but I'll link it down below thank you so

However, I don't think Bill Gates ever saw the people on this list.

So let's take a look at the top 10 laziest people of all time part 2.

Starting us off in at number 10 with a Crafty Christmas tree.

Alright, so I think it's safe to say that this "Christmas" tree is anything but

crafty.

This might be a lazy life hack but it's also pretty smart because now this person

has more money for presents.

I'm actually really surprised that they splurged on the wrapping paper.

I thought a lazy person would just buy a bag or a decorated box and call it a day.

But maybe those presents are from grandma, who actually took the time to carefully wrap

the presents.

I will admit though, this is a fancy version of a car freshener Christmas tree because

it's hanging off of a back scratcher.

I mean they could've taped it onto the wall or something but they went all out on this

one.

The laziest employee makes it into number 9.

Well I guess it's safe to say that either this employee is extremely lazy, hates their

job or is mad at their boss.

Or, this was the employee's last day on the job and they were just like Fuck it.

I'm going to say that this person was just really lazy.

Imagine if people actually wasted their quarters on this thinking that they would get the big

bag of skittles.

I think this person probably caused a lot of customers to become upset.

I think this is just hilarious.

Lazy or genius?

Coming in at number 8 This kid should run for president when he is older because even

though he is extremely lazy; this idea is actually pretty brilliant.

I mean, your arms get so tired when you are watching YouTube on your phone, so why not

put it on top of a glass table and lay comfortably underneath it.

I think this kid is going places.

Well done.

Hopefully he doesn't get scared or something and tries to sit up fast because he'll probably

knock himself unconscious.

Now in at number 7 is Easy arthritic but lazy person.

I think I know a few people who have done this in the past.

Here buddy I'll help you out, the tip would be $6.77.

You could've just pulled out your cellphone and used the calculator but maybe his phone

died.

But then again, he could've just done some simple math and wrote it out on the receipt.

I don't know if this person is lazy or just really hates math.

Alright so this is the "I pissed off my wife cake" or the "I'm extremely lazy

birthday cake."

This is so funny because I'm pretty sure this cake mix only requires you to add milk

and eggs which is super easy.

You throw that batter into that pan and bake it and you're done.

You went all the way to the grocery store for that cake box, you could've just bought

a pre-made cake from the bakery and called it a day.

I don't know why you'd want to joke around with food.

Food is no laughing matter.

Accident prone driver crashes into number 4.

Is this real life right now?

Who in their right mind would drive their car with 15 pounds of snow covering their

windshield.

I hope this picture was taken in England or something because the tiny hole in the windshield

is on the right side of the car.

I can't believe they only scrapped off enough snow to make that small circle.

This is extremely dangerous and you guys should never do this.

But honestly though, was his car stuck in a mountain of snow?

Where did he come from.

Adjusting the clock comes into number 3.

So this is how a lazy person changes the clocks when daylights saving time hits.

Yep, they place a sign right under the clock telling you to minus an hour.

They went through the trouble of writing out a sign, grabbing tape and then climbing up

a ladder to place the sign right under the clock.

Couldn't you just grab the clock off the wall and turn back the time?

This is so lazy but who am I to talk?

I have like 5 clocks in my studio and none of them are adjusted.

Now in at number 2 we have The dangerous mom.

Ok we get it Karen, you just bought yourself a fancy new Segway and you want to ride it

around the neighbourhood and make everyone jealous.

But you are taking your baby out for a stroll with it?

This is just so dangerous.

In this picture, they are actually crossing a large street.

What if she loses control and the baby stroller takes a dive.

If you are going somewhere far, you should probably consider taking a cab or the bus

because this looks terrible.

Hopefully she's just a lazy walker and not a lazy mother.

Finally in at number 1 is the Lazy college student.

Alright let me try and defend him.

He's a college student so maybe he has an assignment due and he doesn't have the time

to put a chair together or he's trying to save space in his tiny dorm room.

But honestly, I think he's just lazy.

It looks like one of those chairs that are really easy to assemble.

There are so many good reasons to set up this chair, for one; you won't get a hunch back

if you're sitting up right in a proper chair and you can spin around on it.

Buddy, just invest those five minutes and build this chair, trust me; your back will

thank you.

it's been going down for a long time it did launch on the 19th of January went

up a little bit up to four dollars in 10 cents it's actually a lot it pretty much

doubled its value pretty instantly from the 19th all the way up and this was the

21st those in two days it pretty much doubled but since then we've been seeing

a steady decline and you know a lot of all chords I've been taking hits

recently it's not their fault it wasn't the perfect time for an ICO

I've seen a lot of I SEOs stop there I cos a lot of I SEOs not do as well as I

think they could have had they been doing it in like November instead of

this January February market we've been having but basically what happened was

16 million bar tokens that's a little over 8 million dollars worth of bar got

hacked are from an exchange now there's a little dip in the market here you got

to see the present all the way down to 22 cents this could have been when they

were selling it you know its 22nd right now and this is a 20 second so it could

have been them selling it which caused an instant dip in the market that it

kind of recovered and went back to level but yeah a lot of exchanges aren't doing

their part in keeping their their money safe and keeping you know I I always say

you don't want to leave money in exchange you want to get a hardware

wallet or paper or whatever you just don't want to leave money on an exchange

a lot of people are doing it though a lot of people are losing money but also

you know if the exchange goes down whatever happens but the exchange itself

isn't protecting their assets which makes it hard for us to trust them

you know for us as investors to trust them with our money because they can get

hacked and their money to get stolen which is technically our money right so

one thing to keep in mind exchanges aren't doing their part I hope to see it

happen pretty soon that they start you know upgrading their security now if we

refresh the cryptocurrency the coin market cap website we are at a four

hundred and thirty eight point five billion dollar market cap Bitcoin

dominance is high at forty percent which means all coins are taking a hit with

bitcoins that high especially recently it means all coins are taking a hit and

if you go down you can see that is very much the case very very little green

some green on verge in the last seven days in the last 24 hours

you know nothing is green nothing is green except for tether and nano making

a recovery after being hacked you guys know I made a video on this before as

well nano got hacked from an exchange as well their price has been tanking ever

since this could be because you know maybe the people were selling them Nano

that they stole whatever it may be just bring bring the price down also fear has

definitely helped bring the price down but happy to see this 25 percent

increases led to a 5 percent increase in the last 7 day so just shows how it was

down a lot in the past week but the last hour you guys can see we have a little

more green but I'm not too confident with it yet because I'm gonna talk to

you guys a little bit about why I think we've hit the support line and what

could happen if we do break below that now one point I am eagerly looking at is

neo I was actually watching a livestream with crypto was a crypto coin news I

believe in he mentioned that he has 6,000 neo and you guys know if you have

hold neo then you also get gas in return which is right here which is also worth

$38 and is increasing in price as well but so it's basically passive income

from holding neo in certain wallets now at 116 dollars he has 6,000 that's like

66 thousand dollars worth of right he has 6,000 and it's $160 6,000 it's 160

No oh my God he's got 696 thousand dollars worth of me oh man I wish I

could do that but unfortunately I don't have that type of money to be putting

into here yeah 21 year old cryptocurrency investor I

don't have 696 dollars in the bank to just throw in to Neal and any moment

that I want but congratulations to him I'm extremely jealous though hopefully

I'll be able to accumulate more NiO if the price goes down I would love to see

it hit $60 again it could if you know if Bitcoin does go to 6,000 but the

likelihood of that happening I'm gonna leave it up for us to decide at the end

but you guys can see markets taking a hit this last week you guys know I've

seen a ton of comments in the Facebook group markets are red

yeah markets are red ton of people commenting about it asking me if I think

bitcoins going back down to $4,000 and I'm gonna mention we talked about

yesterday which is great opportunity to give my man Tom right here and more

credit because I gave him credit in the previous video but he's getting credit

again in this video for posting this graph and he went on to explain it if I

make my head small you guys can see he went on to explain what's talking about

but what basically happened is we went up the IV one Kirk right this was our

dip we went up the IV one curve this is what people are predicting now we're

gonna have a little bit of a correction which is what we're experiencing right

now and once that's done is when we should have the biggest run-up and test

all time highs firm you know Bitcoin and the market in general for many many good

projects I'm not gonna say shit coins are gonna get it unfortunately you know

if it's a bad project it might not be just all-time high ever again it

might've been a pumping now but for good projects for good coins for the overall

market we are going to be testing and hopefully passing all-time highs that is

according to this graph if you if you guys believe this is true I personally

do I have actually seen this a little bit before and it's kind of talking

about the different support lines the different resistance points you guys can

see as a ton of lines here and we have the I the III and the IV a lot more in

depth I can go into this if you guys want me to breakdown and as an actual

full graph but all you guys have to know is I believe this is what we are seeing

right now we are currently in this little bit of a

dip could last a few more days maybe not hard to tell but then once this is done

we are going to be entering the bull run that we've all been waiting for and we

are going to test all-time highs and that's so we're gonna see a big coin at

twenty twenty five thousand dollars hopefully it happens you know here

within the next few months and you know Neal's gonna be high like one's gonna be

high Aaron's gonna be high we're gonna get a ton of new investors that are just

like Oh cryptocurrency now again whoo and then you guys know how it works but

basically what I'm saying is can Bitcoin go down to 6,000 it's possible we're

gonna talk about it right here in this graph but do I think it is I personally

do not now for us to beat for us to get back to $6,000 we would have to for

Bitcoin to get $6,000 we would have to go down and test this support level

right here which is the lowest point we've had in a while you know this was a

huge correction that we had a lot of people freaking out a lot of people

panic selling a lot of weekends sold but we would have to go all the way back

down to here now is it possible yes but what we're seeing right now is Bitcoin

kind of level off and open therefore the whole market kind of level off you guys

saw the last hour it's been kind of fluctuating like this we're holding on

to the $10,000 support the five digit support wait you guys can see is the

support we built up over here so a lot of people are confident at this point we

went up to try and beat it to try and break it which again if we did I think

we could have gone all the way up to 13 14 thousand pretty fast

however we came back down fortunately an hour again we're holding on if we do

break below this I see the next stop at probably $8,000 and if we you know

continue to break below that then yet we can hit 6,000 and if we passed 6,000

than half you can hit 4,000 however I wouldn't put my money on it I would not

be the person sat here saying waiting to say oh I'm gonna buy more Bitcoin when

it hits $4,000 because we've talked about this a lot of times in this

channel guys dollar cost averaging every good investor does this every good

investor does this and what that means is you buy some now at 10,000 at this

support line next thing you know it breaks below this support line right

we're back at 8,000 what do you do you buy some more 8,000 so you don't

put all of your money in a 10,000 not a good idea

you buy some of 10,000 then you buy some at 8,000 right dollar cost averaging now

if you buy the same amount ball times you bought at 10 you bought at 8 now

your investments worth 9 it's not worth 10 anymore you bought it in at 9,000 now

technically right it averages out to you buying in at 9,000 so I think above

9,000 is probably now you don't have to wait for it to get to 10,000 and then

say 8,000 chops down to 6 6 that's right you buy some more maybe you had more my

store you buy some more maybe about another

paycheck you spend half of it I don't know what you guys do but don't forget

if we do break below it which I think is possible I'm not counting it out I'm

gonna say 8000 I believe is the lowest we're gonna get to if we have the next

few days slash weeks of red before we start picking up into the bullish run so

again if it goes down to eight thousand dollar cost averaging pick up some more

now which points am I looking at during this market correction again it's

correction 2.0 whatever you guys want to call it during this down trend like I

said I'm looking for Neil I want to pick up more Neil mainly because I realize

how great it is to get gas for free you know passive income just by holding neo

so why not stock up on some Neil definitely a coin I'm looking at Bitcoin

and at the area are two coins I think are going to have you know BIC one the

last seven days it's down but it's up in the last seven days so it's the

basically one of the only ones I think Bitcoin is going to definitely lead the

pact going forward into the bull run so that's why I'm holding a ton of Bitcoin

but I also do like my share of all coins which I mean you guys know I've

covered before in previous videos nano you know at this price still fairly

under priced I'm going to I think after such a run up maybe we'll have a little

bit of a correction again if the market especially keeps going down I think Nano

might take a little bit of a hit tomorrow if everything else is red and

so a perfect place to scoop up some more because if I just open up the graphed

real quick for you guys take a look it's all time high was thirty something right

3035 basically $35 and it's at nine so it's a huge sale when it does enter the

bull run when we enter the bull run is the market then I definitely see Nano

making a lot of games it has a lot of catching up to do it's down a lot a lot

now another thing I want to mention before I end the video is I've been

looking into masternodes I don't know if you guys know what that is but basically

kind of like neo you get paid with gas except it's not that easy you hold a

certain amount of a certain coin and if you hold it you get paid out basically

dividends now every coin has their own I know

footy cash does have it if you own 5000 of their tokens then that's around about

roughly right now it's $2,500 then you get paid out X percent every single year

or month I don't know when they pay out like I said I'm just starting to do my

research on it but I know - has a master node and you need 1000 - so basically at

a $637 / - you need six hundred thirty seven thousand dollars invested into -

in order to get a master node and start getting paid out some dividends but the

thing is - doesn't have one of the best evidence it doesn't payout as high as

some other coins do but it is a much bigger more secure investment than other

coins so whole little spiel at the end I'm telling you guys I'm looking more

into those and if I do decide to go with any obviously I'm going to let you guys

Well, a lot of the pleasures that you and I have

are hardwired. We're born with them.

They start off as early as you could imagine in young babies.

And they exist because they're adaptive.

Because they are adaptations from natural selection.

Babies like the taste of sweet breast milk,

they like being held, they like being cared for,

they like having their bellies full, they like being clean.

They have a set of innate pleasures that exist

because they guide them to try to feed,

to try to get protection, to try to get close to people.

So, there's a logic to pleasure early on,

which makes a lot of sense. We're drawn to

enjoy the things that are to our benefit.

Now, and as you get older, all sorts of other pleasures fill out.

One way I like to think about it is that humans have a sort of

fixed list of pleasures given to us by our biology.

The pleasures involve certain sorts of food, drink,

sex, music,

art, and a few others.

Now, of course, cultures can create new pleasures.

But, typically these new pleasures are expansions

of things that we're biologically prime to enjoy.

So, chocolate cake is a new pleasure,

but it takes advantage of our enjoyment of sweets.

Rap is a new type of music, but it takes advantage

of our biological preference for certain sorts of rhythm.

Internet pornography is very new,

but it takes advantage of our sexual appetites

that start off on a much more basic state.

So, I think that's a good part of the story of pleasure.

But I also think there's more.

And this is something which babies don't show.

But, for adults – I wrote a book about this –

the argument I make is that the sort of pleasure we get from things

is powerfully influenced by what we think these things are.

Wine tastes better if you think it's expensive.

A face looks more beautiful

if is a face of somebody you love and respect.

Food tastes better if you think it's fresh.

Artwork looks better if you think

it was a masterpiece by Picasso or Rembrandt,

as opposed to painted by the guy down the block.

Every aspect of our pleasure,

including sort of complicated ones like modern art,

but also very visceral ones, like sex and food

are powerfully influenced by our cultures,

by our beliefs, and by our knowledge.

And this is a way in which pleasure serves as an example

of how biological propensities

can combine with cultural experience.

There are many sources of pleasures in one's life.

But, one is the act of discovering something,

of exploring, of finding something new.

We see that in the children, who love puzzles and games,

and are very curious to open up something.

If you ever tell a child that, "it's forbidden to open up this box",

and then you leave the room, withheld to see the child take a peek.

I think that there's sort of an adaptive value to being curious.

It's an important world out there to know about.

And the creature that's motivated to do the exploring

is going to do – all things being equal –

better off than the one who just stays still and has no interest.

That's complicated, because there are risks to being curious,

there are risks for trying to discover things,

but it's a fundamental human desire, and a fundamental human pleasure.

Among other things, it motivates learning.

A child has to learn to speak, has to learn

about the social rules of the world around him or her.

And, to do that curiosity helps.

Then you see curiosity not only in

the children and the babies we study, but in ourselves.

The great motivation behind science is curiosity,

is wondering what things are like.

And the buzz you get from finding out,

from answering a hard question.

I think it's not only a fundamental pleasure of our lives,

but I think it's a very important one.

Global warming is the rise in global temperatures

the change is undeniable, is everywhere

record temperatures in all corners of the planet

and the cause? US

All human activity releases greenhouse gases

greenhouse gases

such as carbon dioxide produced by fossil fuels

make the energy from our sun

that was normally reflected in space

get trapped in our atmosphere.

Normally this is a good thing

since otherwise it would be a frozen and lifeless planet.

But we overreached

and we are breaking the delicate balance of life on earth

This is a graph of the increase in average temperatures on our planet

and this is one of the increase in carbon dioxide emissions

produced in billions of tons in the last century

compared to

predictions made by the intergovernmental panel on climate change

made in 2000. They are very similar, are not they?

Planet Earth has ways of self-regulating its carbon dioxide levels

all plant life, whether terrestrial or marine

consumes carbon dioxide to release oxygen

but we are clearing forests at an alarming rate

Man has cut down forests since the invention of agriculture

and has never ceased

nowadays an area equivalent to the one in Greece is cut down every year

and that area usually is burned, releasing even more carbon dioxide

Another great regulator of carbon dioxide is the ocean

through what is called the oceanic carbon cycle

which through the dissolution of carbon dioxide

sedimentation and photosynthesis of plant organisms

is capable of taking large quantities of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere

but we do not want to leave any loose ends

so lets destroy the oceans by contaminating them and leaving large uninhabitable areas

not only that, the speed with which we are generating carbon dioxide

is saturating the ocean

making it more acidic and killing the same phytoplankton

that feeds on carbon dioxide

A but carbon dioxide is not the only greenhouse gas that we produce

but the most abundant, the most dangerous greenhouse gas

that we produce is methane

methane is 20 times more efficient in retaining the sun's heat

and currently contributes to the 15% of global warming

the extraction and combustion of natural gas

and garbage dumps generate methane

but more important is that generated by livestock

this in its digestion generates methane gas

which is released in flatulence and burps

annually generate more than 115 million tons, a quarter of the total we produce

and not only generate methane gas

but also nitrous oxide which is 289 times worse than carbon dioxide

In total, global livestock generate 18% of greenhouse gases

and generate more global warming than all modes of transport combined

In addition, the rise in global temperatures

is melting the permafrost of the tundras

The 350 billion tons of carbon that have been emitted

due to the entire combustion of fossil fuels

and human activities since 1850

are nothing compared to the

1.4 trillion metric tons

of carbon dioxide and methane

that are trapped in the permafrost and that could be released if it melts

That is why it is feared that if we continue like this

we will reach a point where climate change is irreversible

that there is no turning back

that no matter what we do, the planet continues to heat up

wildly until it becomes like Venus

a planet with a greenhouse effect monstrous, a hell devoid of life
