Youtube daily report w Feb 23 2018

Hey, everybody! My name is Drew, Boom Beach's Community Manager.

I'm Matt, developer on Boom Beach.

We'll talk about Boom Beach in 2018, and answer some questions.

First question: When's the next update?

The next update will be around the end of March. That's our goal.

With this update, we'll make Boom a lot more eventful for you.

We've got a few ideas on how to do this,

which leads to the next question.

Mega Crab more often?

When is the Mega Crab coming back?

The next Mega Crab should be here

really soon after the release.

Then, we should see it a lot more often.

We want to try and roll it out...

Every month is the current plan.

And give it some more interesting twists

on each level, each time around, to make it interesting for the players.

The plan is to have a monthly Mega Crab,

which, as a team, we're super excited about.

I guess you will be as well.

What changes will we see in the monthly Mega Crabs?

I think each Mega Crab will have different level bonuses.

We'll be able to set them up to make each level more interesting than before.

We want to give players more unique rewards

for their successes in the Mega Crab,

something they can show off to people,

so that they know they did well in the event.

Yeah, I think it's really cool. What we're trying to work on

is making each monthly Mega Crab unique,

and something you're aware throughout the month,

so you can practice different loadouts and stuff.

There are always resource rewards, and the leaderboards.

There'll be unique monthly rewards, so you want to plan it every month.

It'll be a bit more planned.

We won't spring it randomly on players anymore. It'll be more scheduled.

You'll know when it's coming.

There won't be a shadow, and then: "Oh, my god!"

Yeah.

You mentioned experimenting more with tribe boosts.

What can we look forward to?

We want to work on making tribe boosts

a lot more meaningful for the players.

At the moment, we think they're a really cool feature,

but they're kind of underutilized.

I don't think we properly fleshed out the tribe boosts to the maximum capacity.

There are things missing from it

that players wanted, and we want to put in, too.

We wanted to experiment with letting you, the players, and the community

vote on what sectors you want.

So, if there's a Mega Crab coming up that you think would be cool to have

plus 300% Scorcher damage on,

we're all for that.

I think it'd be cool to get more experimental with the tribe boosts,

and make it a bit more fun.

- Let's do it. - Yeah.

Why do you think adding temporary things to the game

is a better idea than adding permanent things?

It's so that we can test things out a little bit more,

and put things in the game quickly,

see if they work, if you like them,

and then, if they are not working out,

we can pull them out, change them, and bring them back,

and make them better than the last time.

I think we've had some surprising results

with some things we experimented with,

like watching the Cryo Bomb be a Mine clearer.

Yes. The Cryo Bomb was designed to freeze stuff.

And when we put it in the game, it turned into a glorified Mine Sweeper.

But everyone loved it. So we realized that was going to be its main purpose.

It doesn't need to be as massively balanced, as well,

which is a good and a bad thing.

It will be harder to commit to something like that without more thought.

It was great to see it in action,

and that it was more useful than we initially thought.

Like the Proto troops, for example. They were really cool, because...

Basically, we sat in a room, and threw out

lots of the most experimental troop ideas we could think of.

So we ended up with the Rain Maker, which is a huge hit.

Then, the Lazertron, which is not such a huge hit,

but the good thing about it not being permanent

is that we have looked at it, and for the next update, we'll put in...

rebalanced Proto troops, and stuff.

Make the Lazertron live up to its potential.

Yeah. Bring it back up to where it should be.

Why can't there be a defensive balance to even the playing field?

Yes. In this update, we will add more proto defense buildings to the game.

We have been playing around with them, trying to find ones

that are specifically targeted

at some of the current meta build-ups of offense for the players.

Tackling some of the compositions, like Smokey Zookas, and stuff like that.

We are really aware of the Smokey Warrior and Bullit.

It just decimates bases, basically.

We were super keen to mix up the meta a bit.

Do you have any of the examples we had?

Yes, for example, we have a new sniper type that ignores smoke.

Its placement should be interesting to see if...

it can counter these smokey attacks that we've been seeing a lot.

We want to try to mix up the gameplay a bit more with the players,

and see if they can use new strategies, build new defenses,

and change the way that they play.

This a huge question, but after this March update,

what's going to be happening in Boom Beach in 2018?

Following the March update, what we really want to focus on is...

something for the max level players.

We understand that a lot of you are at the end with not much to do.

You have invested a lot of time,

and we really want to build something meaningful for them to do.

It will, of course, be available for a lot of players in the game,

but the real value will be for the people

who have put in this long term effort to get to the end of the game.

Yeah. Our goal in 2018 is to focus on

making the max level players have

super engaging endgame content that will be something fresh and new.

Whilst also looking out for the players who are on their way towards max level.

It will be working towards something that pretty much everybody can enjoy.

Yeah. Our focus at the moment is on March

to really get the Mega Crab coming out more often

and to have more events.

All these ideas for the endgame of Boom are on the table

and we, as a team, are going to decide towards March on what we're going to do.

This March update is going to bring a load of events.

Obviously, the monthly Mega Crab will be massive.

That will allow us to give you guys a lot more content

throughout this development cycle.

So instead of an update, then waiting, and then another update,

our March update is going to bring in all these cool events and stuff.

The Mega Crab being the main one,

so that you guys will consistently have stuff to play with,

and earn unique rewards and stuff,

while we as a team are working on this awesome piece of content

for the update after March.

One thing that we really want to focus on this year is you guys.

As a team, we think it's super important

that we have this great connection with the community.

When you guys are giving us feedback, whether it's good or bad,

it's all super useful and great, because it helps us,

especially during an update cycle,

to put some of your thoughts and ideas into the game,

and to keep the ties with the community very strong.

Yeah, it's good being so close to the community

and we want to make the game that you want to play.

It was really nice having you here to chat,

and thank you guys very much for your questions.

And here's to Boom Beach in 2018.

The arrival, tearing the silence into pieces

Was a predestined encounter for our sake

And so, you, with regret showing in your grieving eyes,

You wore your sorrow and bloomed beautifully

A flower, dissolving into someone's life -

Hey,

You can see it too, can't you?

I'm sure.

To overwrite the accumulated sins,

You've got as many times as you need, from the repeating start line

Painting a tomorrow different from the past,

Painting hope for just the two of us, there's the start line

I never say goodbye . . .

That's how it always is.

O que é Oração Contemplativa e por que é tão necessária? (Legendado) - Duration: 9:21.

you know let me back this up with a little bit of history I don't want to

bore you with history but I know for most people the very word contemplation

they say where did that come from

what happened is that our word prayer that Jesus uses a lot the Bible uses a

lot had already been cheap and trivialized two centuries into

Christianity and it became a functional problem solving practical thing to pray

meant to make announcements to God and tell god what you needed it was a

transactional thing all right so after 313 when we become the established

religion of the Roman Empire you've probably heard how these very

sincere seekers went off to the deserts of Egypt Palestine Syria Cappadocia

which is eastern Turkey and that became the birth of what we now call

monasticism the reason it happened was because the mainline of Christianity had

become so it become fast food religion right everybody was just Catholic

because the whole kingdom was now Catholic and you were Catholic because

you were Italian not because you met Jesus yeah and you Protestants

discovered that about us thank you very much because you're right

but nevertheless there was always a strain that wanted to go deeper and say

what's Jesus really talking about so they started using another word for

prayer and that word is contemplation it's lasted down to our time so in the

Catholic Church we have contemplative monks who make that their whole life

contemplative orders it's really a different form of consciousness it's not

saying prayers it's living in constant unitive union with God and everything

around you so whatever you do is a prayer that's why Paul can twice say in

his letters pray always he can't mean walking around saying the our Father all

day and the very fact that in Luke's gospel they have to ask him teach us a

prayer like the disciples of John the Baptist have we can assume he hadn't

taught him a verbal prayer his form of prayer when he goes off to the desert is

what we would call contemplative prayer where you rewire this mind so that

everything you do is connected in loving union with the moment with whatever's

right in front of you that's contemplation and it takes

practice I'm not there yet I've been practicing all my life on my better days

I touch upon it I can enjoy it for moments but it's hard to maintain a

contemplative mind 24 hours a day because you keep getting pulled into

argument emotions feelings hurts agendas all the rest so you have to practice

rewiring this the normal way you and I are wired is dualistic ly all right

where you're presented with good or bad gay or straight black or white good or

our faults are true and male or female and then you're supposed to choose one

of those that's that's why America is so angry today really I'm not exaggerating

that when that's the only mind you have and you have to make a false choice and

make men better than women are women better than men you know you're never

happy because it isn't true it's never true it's just it's a false truth and

then you ensconce yourself in it and have to defend it and have to defeat the

other side and show why they're terrible that's the non contemplative mind now

it's really only been the last 50 years it was Thomas Merton the monk in

Kentucky not far from you guys who uh pulled back the veil and said

Christianity doesn't teach contemplation anymore after the Reformation and we

started fighting one another and then the

various Protestant denominations started fighting one another you can't be

contemplative anymore that was the death the death of contemplation because

that's the triumph of dualistic thinking once you're fighting your dualistic

trust me on that all right you've got to choose sides you've got to prove your

opinion every debate Society can't see seek high truth it settles for a low

level truth between these two debaters and and that's all we have left so if we

don't rediscover the mystical contemplative non dual mind and I use

those three words interchangeably they have the same thing I don't see how we

are any alternative to Western civilization I'm gonna make that

blandness or that big a statement I don't know if it's bland or big but I

just see Christians largely having the same prejudices that everybody else does

that people look much more like their state then you know them then Jesus and

that that's pretty evident right now in this country that we reflect what part

of the United States were from much more than having read the scriptures now I've

got a book coming out in a few weeks that's going to be called just this just

this and it's just about fifty little exercises to help you to be present to

just this that little leaf there sitting on the grass and honor God in that and

be content with that and delight in that that's contemplation the best simple

definition I can give you of contemplation is a long loving look at

the reel reel with a big R when you look at something long enough that you can

love it and let it be reality for you you're at the first door of

contemplation I don't have to judge it up or down I

don't have to analyze it in or out I don't have to say will that make me

money it's just a leaf and God created that leaf for some unbelievable reason I

don't know why and I'm the first eye that's ever able to delight in it

that's contemplation 101 and it sounds so simple in fact it is so simple that

it's hard to teach it's really hard to teach then once you have that mind then

you'll know how to pray and prayer of adoration and thanksgiving and joy will

come before just asking for things not that there's anything wrong with asking

for things but when prayer becomes simply talking God into things and

asking God for things you know what stays center stage the ego it's all

about what I want what I need now God is my personal servant that I can get to

stop the hurricane in Texas you know

that doesn't create highly enlightened or loving people so that's why we teach

here in the contemplative mind and then we send people back hopefully as much

more effective change agents and they're going to be much longer lasting because

now I don't need to win I don't need to have people agree with me my truth is

held within me and I offered if people want it but if they don't that's I know

it's their loss it's not mine it's not mine

I can still enjoy it because again it's the indwelling Spirit we as Paul says in

Romans 8 we do not know how to pray we don't the spirit prays in us through

groans unutterable through feelings that we didn't even know we had and thoughts

I mean my best sermons I preached just when I give them I didn't think about it

ahead of time you understand they come just there when

if and when I can remain in the flow but the secret is always to stay in the flow

and then your gift comes naturally

you

How to get out of warm relationships? - Duration: 2:40.

Hi my love! All right? We are going to talk about warm relationships today.

Many times your relationship will go away, if it is destroyed, because it has become lukewarm,

meaningless. And you come to think that you do not even love the other because you stopped cultivating that kind of

relationship. This relationship of love. This is not just for couples, no. In

fact, most of what I put here is not just for a couple, it's for all kinds of

relationships. And how do you fall into a warm relationship? For the eye

in the eye, you to your state of presence, you no longer hear the

other is speaking and you are already thinking about what will respond. Cell phone, tablet,

technology ... If you are with the other you are with the other, gives quality of presence

to the other. You may not be able to give a very large

amount of presence, give quality, be present,

look into the eyes, listen to what the other speaks. Speak for the other to listen, hand in hand,

breath. Pay attention to your breathing while you are with another.

Do you know what will happen? You notice in the other beautiful things, which

you had already forgotten. Because that distance generated oblivion. People

relationship has to be hot. Relationship has it full of love. And I'm not

saying that you are relating to the person and have to have

the same passion at the beginning, because the passion it comes at the beginning, comes all covered from one not

knowing, from one not knowing how the other is. And over time you get to

know each other. But you do not know everything, just because you are not in this

present state. How many couples are together, and they are not.

Is it bad to be together? You unlearned. Reapply. Have the least education. Education

does it. Be with the other. Listen to the other one. Really talk

to each other. You will see how it will change. "Oh my

relationship is not funny." Give it a try. Talk to your partner, your

partner, your child, your daughter. With your mother, your father, and you invest in it, mute. You

may not spend so much time together, but it takes a little time, like this. You see

change. This is a tip for you. And I'll ask you to share

if you liked this video. It's a tip that can help a lot of people, right?

A kiss! Take it!

Bram immortalises Efteling with tattoos - Efteling Fans - Duration: 16:00.

This is Bram. Bram is 33 years old and a true Efteling Fan.

As a child, he drew pictures of Efteling on paper or on the wall.

Now he's older, he draws them on people's bodies. That's what makes a true fan!

But Bram, what do you draw?

This is Efteling Fans.

This is my old bedroom.

I spent many of my childhood years here in the attic of my parents' house.

I started this drawing 18 years ago as a 15-year-old teenager.

I was already an Efteling fan at that time.

I often used Efteling as a source of inspiration to develop my own creativity.

My parents always gave me that freedom,

even though I think it's quite strange that they let me paint on the walls.

Looking back, I think it's quite unusual but it was also important for me

because it was the basis for my creative development.

How's the painting going?

It's going quite well.

Is it finally going to get finished?

That's the question, of course, but it's coming along.

It looks good.

Thank you.

Are you coming down for a cup of tea?

Yes, I'll be down in a minute.

OK!

Efteling has always been a source of inspiration.

As a child, it was always fun to be able to go to Efteling.

Once you were there, everything you saw was so overwhelming.

Creatively speaking, it has such a high standard.

Somehow that always attracted me.

I used to copy the photo albums and drawings of Anton Pieck.

Anything that had to do with Efteling interested me.

That way I could use it here in my room, too.

The love for Efteling started when he was 4 years old.

That was the first time I took him to Efteling.

On a day when my wife had a training day.

That was a good opportunity to go to Efteling.

I especially loved seeing how surprised he was. Look! What's this? Everything moves!

He listened to the music from the toadstools by putting his ear to them.

That's when his fascination for the park started.

He went to Efteling almost every day after school

after we gave him a season ticket for the park for his fifteenth birthday.

Sometimes I couldn't understand why he had to keep going to Efteling.

What do you do there every time?

But he'd thought up a new theme And would go to see the lighting

or photograph all the Holle Bolle Gijs characters.

Every time he went to the park, he brought something home.

Even if it was only a teaspoon or a key ring.

Sometimes he'd come home with big Laafs, Laaf children and Pardoes cuddly toys.

A roomful.

We used to say he could have got his driving licence for that amount of money.

I can't quite understand his fascination for Efteling. You don't really get it, I suppose?

No, you're right.

But once, we went to Winter Efteling together.

Bram had already gone in the morning with a friend and we arrived in the afternoon.

He was waiting for us. As if he wanted to welcome us to his fairytale world.

The grin on his face made me realise how happy he was. That was it.

To be allowed to design, draw or think up things at Efteling used to be my greatest dream.

Really on that creative side.

I remember that when I was eight or nine years old, I thought up and drew an attraction.

I sent it to Efteling, hoping they might use it.

They sent a copy of the drawings back and kept the original ones.

So they kept the pencil drawings and sent copies back to me.

The Water Dream.

Dear Bram, thank you very much for your letter of 23 January 1994, in which you tell Efteling

about your idea for a new attraction: The Water Dream.

You are a true designer.

It all looks very technical with pipes, a moving walkway

and you've even thought of oxygen for the visitors.

The design and creation of new attractions is carried out by Efteling's own design team.

A team led by Mr Ton van de Ven, Anton Pieck's successor,

that constantly works on thinking up new attractions, which certainly isn't an easy task

as Efteling has a unique style.

This style is very well protected and that is the reason why we think up all the attractions ourselves.

Of course, that doesn't mean that there will never be an attraction about the underwater world.

That's why we will take good care of your drawings, together with all the other ideas children have sent us.

And who knows, one day you might see your own idea and Ton van de Ven's design.

With warmest regards, Efteling

"Nibble, nibble little mouse! Who's that nibbling on my house?"

The oldest memory I have of Efteling is here at Hansel and Gretel.

I used to go to Efteling with my father every year and, of course, also to the Fairytale Forest.

When we were here, he'd sit me on the wall.

Of course, I was completely absorbed in the fairytale

and when I wasn't looking, he'd secretly put a bag of sweets next to me.

When I'd finished looking and wanted to move on, I turned around and saw the bag of sweets.

I fell for it every time and my father would always say that Gretel had left the sweets for me.

From the moment I got a season ticket, I went to the park every week.

Up to 2007, I visited Efteling very often.

So at that moment it really is part of your life.

It's like a second home and becomes a routine if you go every week.

Around 2007, I had a lot of other interests and I suppose that had a bit to do with my age.

Just turned 20 years old. You go to a lot of parties and concerts.

So Efteling became a little less important to me at the time.

Until, at the end of 2014, I heard that they were going to build Baron 1898.

I saw the drawings and instantly thought that to me, this is exactly what makes Efteling.

All the details, the beautiful buildings, everything.

I immediately contacted an old friend of mine. I knew him from Efteling.

He had had the same thought, so from that moment we decided to get a season ticket again.

To tell you the truth, from that moment on it was exactly as it used to be.

From the moment I started coming to Efteling more often, Fata Morgana was my favourite attraction.

Every time I visited, I went in it because if I hadn't been in the Fata Morgana

I felt it was such a pity.

That's actually quite funny because when I was a child I thought the Fata Morgana was really scary.

I recall that the first few years I came here with my father, all I did was cry when I was in the boat.

When I started coming more often, it became my favourite attraction.

To me dark rides are always really beautiful attractions anyway.

I think that in this attraction, everything that makes Efteling so beautiful to me comes together.

That they create a fantasy world that seems so realistic. That they create a bigger world.

You get the idea that there is more behind all the shutters, doors and passageways you can look through.

That's what I really like and especially in this attraction.

What I also love is that there isn't really a clear story.

So from A to B and so on. So you can actually make up your own story.

In the past, as a creative person, I enjoyed not being bound to a set story

but being able to interpret the attraction the way I wanted to. I really like that.

When I first got my season tickets, I almost always went to the park by myself.

I didn't know anyone who had the same passion for the park as I did.

That changed around 2000-2001, when the internet started to become popular.

And Efteling, too. People could look up a lot about Efteling and a lot of websites were created about the park.

This way, I got to know a lot of people with who I visited Efteling every week from then on.

At the time, there were of course a lot of websites about Efteling.

These websites all had the same information, they discussed the attractions and the realms.

So a group of friends and I decided to create a website about Efteling, too.

In the same way, with all the facts about the attractions and the rest of the park but then focusing on the toilets.

It was well received at the time, with a good dose of humour, of course.

We covered every toilet in the entire park, fact for fact.

Also at the Fata Morgana and I'm quite curious to see whether the facts are still correct.

I think one or two things have changed over the past years.

Different colours and tiles.

Look at the sign.

Super cool. This is my drawing.

This definitely wasn't in this toilet back then.

Really cool.

Terrific, really bizarre.

Dear Bram, after all these years you're still a great Efteling Fan.

Of course, as Efteling we are immensely proud of this.

I looked at your drawings, inspired by Efteling, with great admiration.

As a token of appreciation we would like to give you your own design of the Djinn from Fata Morgana as a gift.

Today, your design on wood can hang here the whole day

so our visitors can admire it today.

We truly hope you will be able to find somewhere nice to put it at home, as a memento of this special day.

With warmest regards, Olaf Vugts - Chief Imagineering Officer Efteling

That's really great. Brilliant!

So this is my job. I am a tattoo artist.

I have been tattooing in this shop for five years.

Just like I used Efteling as inspiration and for drawings and paintings at home,

I still do but then in the shape of tattoos.

This way, I can still use Efteling to do my job.

The pictures, buildings and attractions of Efteling are very suitable to use.

At the moment I'm doing a tattoo of the Fata Morgana on Pieter.

When I saw this drawing, I knew straight away that I would choose it.

The most important thing for me was that it was an attraction.

A real attraction by Ton van de Fen, because they were the most important ones when I was young.

I think back on all the memories I made in Efteling.

As a child, now, in 10 years time and 20 years time and I carry it with me with pride. Yes, definitely.

Then I'm glad to have been able to contribute to that.

I haven't got an Efteling tattoo myself.

There is so much to see and so much that I love.

I often wander through the park and see a lot of things that would be cool as tattoos

but I haven't found anything that I would really like to put somewhere yet.

What I actually always find very interesting,

especially in my profession and looking at Efteling, is where to start.

I start with a bare arm or a bare piece of skin.

Efteling also starts with an empty plot or a blank sheet of paper.

How that process works, from the first line of a sketch to the final result, is what really interests me.

In my own work, too.

OK, the tattoo is ready. So?

I can't wait to see the tattoo, I'm so curious to know what it looks like.

This is it.

Yes, I like it.

Are you happy with it? Yes.

Great, so am I.

BRAIN U TALKS com Leandro Netto - Duration: 5:05.

I welcome you all into our Brain U Talks,

our new 2018 series

here at our YT channel BrainUCoaching

and I bring to you now our special guest

LEANDRO NETTO - it is a great pleasure

having Leandro onboard. He is a Brazilian Lawyer,

specialist in tech and innovation law areas,

and I will share with you bellow here in this video, in writing,

all of Leandro's contacts, his background

and letting you know that I have worked

with Leandro in leadership coaching, and welcome Leandro!

Thank you so much for accepting our invite to chat here with us today!

Hello, Fernanda. How are you? It is my pleasure to be here,

thank you, and it is an honor to be here chatting with you and with your followers.

It is

a pleasure!

Thank you again, Leandro. You can see I chose

a nice view so to have a relaxed chat with you

and share with our public

a little bit of your journey as a leader,

as legal executive, as you have been from legal departments

to law firms, so I ask you to share with us

what exactly have you worked on yourself

during this coaching process with me,

or what made sense to work on you, so to achieve

your leadership post today, talking a bit on leadership abilities

in coaching. So please share with us

which was the crucial ability you found most important

in your case scenario to work on along

this leadership path?

Well, Fernanda, the ability that for sure

made all the difference from the coaching process into my career was

the emotional ability of empathy! We all know

how important empathy is and also to have

this ability more into

our daily lives, and for me

- as you know that -

it wasn't something very natural and easy to do,

especially taking into account my "shark" behavior profile, but

with the support coaching tools

and with

the new perception coaching brought

about empathy, has helped me tremendously

and for sure it made me work

on a more efficient way with the other, looking

into other's perspectives, understanding others better - for we know we are in

a very competitive marketplace, and understand

your client, being into your clients' viewpoint,

goals and desires, is something truly

crucial and empathy without doubt helps on that!

Our second question is: AND HOW ABOUT FROM NOW ON, LEANDRO?

You have undergone your leadership coaching process,

you are on a super cool career advancement

and I want to congratulate on that (Leandro's voice: thank you!), always on the media spotlight,

and I feel so happy with your success,

as you know your success is my success too, so come on and tell us

from now on, if you ponder and envision

still today,

tomorrow, in the next days,

I want and can do it - what would that

be in terms of leadership skills you want to develop

so to achieve a higher level

of success,

a sustainable growth in your career?

Now, I inspire myself Fernanda

in the start up's world,

with a lean mindset,

beginning from a small thought and analyzing

one task, one ambition, one project,

in such small details and from there

in small steps and structures - that if the case may be

for a mistake to happen, to be able to make it in the smallest scale possible.

And this again, in your coaching process has helped

a lot...

By showing me every big project comes to life with one strong foundation, by laying one brick at a time, right?

(Fernanda's voice: Yes, I like it!)

We do have to look into the foundation,

on the first brick, on the second one

so that only there, one step at a time, we can achieve what we first envision.

And once achieved this phase,

beginning from the small-detailed oriented view, and adding

an eagle's view to the plan, or if you will, a more big picture view,

because in law, and in tech business

we always have to think in terms of 5 - 10 -15 years ahead

in the timeline, and this is the idea

to be able to move from the macro

to the micro

and then evolve again into the macro, the big picture

and this is process that

I am looking forward into continuous growth

Fantastic, I like it very much! You know that

small goal into small goal is the key I always reinforce here!

Many thanks for joining us, as I am sure this

content and our chat will be somehow helpful for our

viewers/followers! Again, thank you, Leandro!

It is me now who gives thanks for the opportunity, Fernanda.

It is always a pleasure and if possible I would like to end our chat

with an inspiring phrase that

matches so well with our conversation today,

especially for ending our chat:

"Ideas are free; execution is key."

Well done!! (Fernanda's voice in video).

Let's do it (Leandro's voice)

Awesome, Leandro! Thank you once more!

And a hug to you!

Boom Beach Dev Update: Q&A, the next update, Boom in 2018. Oh, and MEGA CRAB! - Duration: 8:10.

- See you! - See you!

The arrival, tearing the silence into pieces

Was a predestined encounter for our sake

And so, you, with regret showing in your grieving eyes,

You wore your sorrow and bloomed beautifully

A flower, dissolving into someone's life -

Hey,

You can see it too, can't you?

I'm sure.

To overwrite the accumulated sins,

You've got as many times as you need, from the repeating start line

Painting a tomorrow different from the past,

Painting hope for just the two of us, there's the start line

I never say goodbye . . .

What's the reason???? 😱😱😱 [2Days & 1Night-Season 3/2018.01.14] - Duration: 8:22.

(From Korea)

Here we go.

This isn't a vacation. We're off to meet people.

(They're at Jose Marti International Airport.)

(How many fans will await them)

(at the airport?)

(We're in Cuba, everyone!)

- There's no one here. / - No one.

I thought there would be at least one.

You said we had fans here.

Why on earth are we here?

Ask the people here if they know you.

They look a bit too scary to talk to.

- Just look at them. / - Don't be scared.

They probably know that we're filming something.

Excuse me.

Do you know me?

Do you know me?

(We're famous celebrities in Korea.)

(She asks for help.)

(Her friends come along.)

Do you know Korea?

- Yes, I do. / - Korea.

- Cuba. / - Then welcome us.

Can we say that?

Okay. Thank you anyway.

(Thank you.)

- Hello. / - Hi.

Hi.

- Thank you. / - Thank you.

- Do you know Korea? / - Korea.

(I don't know you, but I know Korea.)

Ask who has the best first impression.

- Choose one. / - Yes, only one.

(One?)

(Their first impressions are very memorable.)

(Let me see.)

(I choose Siyoon.)

(What were you expecting?)

They like handsome men out here as well.

- Good luck. / - Thank you.

Thank you so much.

- Thank you. / - Let's go.

(Enjoy your trip!)

- In we go. / - Let's go.

It's late, so it's dark outside.

It's like going to Yangpyeong.

It's like going to an army base.

The view we'll see tomorrow will be quite different.

What will await us tomorrow?

(Cuba, the gem of the Caribbean Sea)

(The streets are filled with passion and romance.)

(You'll soon see the real Cuba.)

- Here we are. / - This is our house.

Our precious home.

- My gosh. / - It's ours.

I guess it's a rental. The Spanish word for...

- Hi. / - Hello!

(Welcome to Cuba.)

(They greet each other like the Cubans do.)

(It's nice to meet you.)

(The house is managed by Maria.)

- Please come in. / - Okay.

Please come in.

Look at this house.

(My gosh!)

("Casa" means "house" in Spanish.)

(The guesthouse is loved by tourists)

(who want to experience the life of the locals.)

(There's a terrace where they can relax.)

(The living room is full of cute decorations.)

(It even has a cozy bedroom)

(to unwind from the traveling.)

Look at this!

(Amazed)

(The three head out to the terrace.)

It's beautiful.

This is nice. I love the house.

As you all expected...

- Are you kidding me? / - No way.

It's inhumane to make us do this.

We all know that's just who he is.

So where are we supposed to sleep?

Only one of you will sleep in the bed next to you.

(The bed for just one of them)

This?

- This? / - But it swings.

We'll hurt ourselves.

Are you serious?

Junho and I could manage it,

- but not Defconn. / - It's a perfect fit.

There you go.

Think of it as a hammock.

- Of course. / - It makes you dizzy.

The person sleeping out here

is the one Maria chooses as least charming.

Are you kidding me?

Maria, please.

Maria... No, let's not do that.

Have a seat.

- ??Maria ??/ - Maria?

- Maria! / - ??Maria ??

(Defconn calls for her, but she doesn't answer.)

You look like an angel.

A Cuban angel.

(We asked her a question first.)

(Who is most handsome?)

(The answer's pretty obvious,)

(but foreigners might have different standards.)

(The most handsome?)

My baby.

(It was a foreseeable future.)

Okay, I get that.

- Who's next? / - Who's the second best?

- Who's your second baby? / - The second baby.

(Now the game is really on.)

(She chooses Defconn.)

I'm her second baby.

- I'm third? / - Oh, no.

What did she say?

You're the ugliest.

(Junho, hang in there.)

- Cuba isn't for me. / - I love Cuba.

Ask why she chose him over me.

(An unpleasant sight)

She says you're the same size as her.

(His heaviness scored him points!)

- Yes! / - They can relate.

It's best to be bigger in size.

What kind of men do Cubans find charming?

Just by their first impressions,

pick the most charming man.

Who's handsome?

My darling.

Attractive?

He's a psycho.

- Maria, my darling. / - Maria.

- Maria. / - I'm full of charms.

I said hello first as soon as we met.

(It's obvious that Siyoon will win.)

(We never know until the end.)

(They try to show all the charms they have.)

(Surprised)

(Did she pass Siyoon?)

Top 12 Flat-Out Bizarre Pirate Traditions Most People Don't Know About - [Facts Wrack] - Duration: 8:44.

1.

Pirate Earrings Served As An Insurance Policy To Finance Their Burials

Pirates spent their lives on the high seas but they didn't want to spend death at the

bottom of an ocean (or Davy Jones's Locker).

The infamous piercings that pirates wore in their ears were actually insurance to make

sure that they'd be given a proper burial.

Whether gold or silver, the precious metal could be melted down and sold to pay for a

casket and other funeral necessities even if a pirate's dead body washed ashore.

Some pirates went so far as to engrave the name of their home port on the inside of the

earrings so that their bodies could be sent home for a proper burial.

2.

There Was A Secret To Maintaining Blackbeard's Terrifying Facial Hair - Using Hemp Kept It

In Frightening Shape

Born Edward Teach, Blackbeard was arguably the most terrifying pirate in the world and

he built his reputation on hemp.

In the early eighteenth century, Blackbeard captained the Queen Anne's Revenge but before

capturing that ship or any other he'd weave hemp into his long dark beard and under his

captain hat.

Once he lit the hemp on fire, smoke billowed out from his face and made his opponents fear

for their lives.

In addition to his burning beard, Blackbeard also wore a crimson coat and carried at least

two swords, pistols, and knives at all times.

3.

No, Pirates Weren't All Missing An Eye - The Patches Helped Them With Night Vision

Some pirates were definitely missing eyeballs; their ships were dangerous places, after all.

But other pirates wore eye patches for different reasons.

By wearing an eye patch, the sea buccaneers could always keep one eye adjusted to night

vision.

Pirates spent a lot of time going from the bright light above deck to the darkness below

deck, especially when they were raiding ships or defending their own.

If he lifted his patch before going below deck, a pirate could instantly see even if

there was only a little light.

4.

No One Ever Wanted To See The Bloody Red Pirate Flag

The Jolly Roger flag that flew from pirate masts was terrifying but the most dreaded

sea flag was red.

A ship hoisting a red flag warned its enemies that no mercy would be given to a captured

ship; everyone on board would be killed immediately.

The red flag was sometimes called the "Bloody Red" and if it replaced a skull and crossbones

flag, the pirates under siege might sometimes jump ship.

5.

Pirates Doubled As Mixologists - They Created A Drink That Prevented Certain Diseases

Credit for the invention of grog goes to sailors in the British Navy, who first started making

the drink some time in the 1600s.

To avoid drinking slimy water contaminated with algae and microbes, the sailors mixed

rum into their water.

In 1731, the British Navy gave each sailor half a pint of rum per day; that was equivalent

to over five shots of alcohol.

Pirates borrowed the recipe for grog and made it legendary by adding lemon juice (it helped

prevent scurvy) and sugar (it tasted good).

Their's was a drink that packed a punch.

6.

Most Pirates Didn't Bury Their Treasure Because They Mostly Stole Booze and Weapons

Even though it's easy to picture a pirate burying treasure on a tropical island, only

one pirate, William Kidd, was ever recorded as having buried treasure.

Kidd deposited his loot off the coast of Long Island but the scheme backfired when an ally

dug up the trove and used it as proof to convict Kidd of piracy.

There's a good reason why most pirates didn't bury their treasure; most of their booty wasn't

gold and jewels.

Pirates typically stole food, alcohol, and weapons, in addition to lumber, cloth, and

animal hides - essentially, whatever ships might be carrying across the Atlantic.

Those goods weren't worth much in the ground so pirates used them immediately or sold them.

7.

Ladies Liked To Pirate Too

Women also took to the seas to make their fortunes.

One pair, Anne Bonny and Mary Read, sailed together on the pirate ship Revenge in 1720.

Anne Bonny even served as first mate.

Some, like Mary Read, chose to dress as men to hide their identities.

Unfortunately, their ship was captured and both women ended up in jail.

Bonny blamed their captain, Calico Jack, and reportedly cursed him in prison, saying, "Sorry

to see you there, but if you'd fought like a man, you would not have been hang'd like

a Dog."

29 people just voted onThe Jolly Roger Is The Best Known Pirate Flag But It Has Many

Variations

The Jolly Roger black flag with a skull and crossbones might be the best known pirate

insignia but there are multiple versions of that banner.

The first mention of the Jolly Roger came from the 1724 book, A General History of the

Pyrates, by Charles Johnson.

Blackbeard's flag, for example, featured a skeleton toasting the devil while spearing

a bleeding heart.

Others had red skeletons, hourglasses, or even men standing on skulls.

9.

Most Pirates Enjoyed A Good Hostage Situation, Some Even Managed To Nab Julius Caesar

Pirates haunted the seas since humans first invented boats and they've captured their

share of famous hostages.

In 75 BCE, pirates captured Julius Caesar but when they only asked for a ransom of 20

talents, Caesar laughed in their faces and told them he was worth at least 50.

While he was held captive, Caesar serenaded the pirates with poetry.

Once his ransom was paid, though, Caesar had the pirates crucified as punishment.

10.

Pirate Earrings Also Served Another Practical Purpose; They Protected Hearing

Pirate ships were outfitted with numerous cannons.

Blackbeard's Queen Anne's Revenge, had a whopping forty.

Those cannons were vital during combat when a pirate ship might need to sink an enemy

to prevent capture.

Cannonballs were accompanied by a loud blast, though, and were known to deafen.

The crafty sea criminals would hang wads of wax from their earrings to prevent this sound

damage.

They popped the waxy contraptions into their ears like a makeshift earplug when firing

cannons.

11.

Pirates Practiced Gay Marriage As Early As The 1600s

Pirates spent long periods of time on ships surrounded by other men so it's no surprise

that some shared intimate relationships.

Other pirates formalized same-sex relationships through a practice called matelotage, a French

word that may be at the root of the pirate greeting "Ahoy mate."

In pirate society, two men could join into matelotage and share all their plunder, even

receiving death benefits if one died before the other.

Pirate mates would live together, exchange gold rings, and sometimes even share female

prostitutes.

12.

Pirates Had All Kinds of Superstitions About Their Earrings

The earring might be the most famous piece of pirate jewelry; they were certainly very

practical.

The sea buccaneers were quite superstitious about the hoops, though, and there were many

myths about the earrings' otherworldly abilities.

One tale claimed that they could prevent sea sickness while another suggested that the

precious metals could cure bad eyesight.

Many pirates believed that a gold earring could prevent a man from drowning but that

myth was disproved a number of times.
