Mr Tindall was present at the birth."The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike's parents, Mr Philip and Mrs Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news

"The baby's name will be confirmed in due course."This baby is the second child for Zara and Mike, the fourth grandchild for The Princess Royal and the seventh great-grandchild for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh

"Has Zara and Mike Tindall's baby already broken a royal record? The baby weighed 9 lbs 3 oz when she was born

This has made her the heaviest royal baby in more than 100 years. The record was previously held by Savannah Phillips, the daughter of Zara's brother Peter Phillips

She weighed 8lbs 8oz when she was born in 2010.Prince Louis was not far off as he weighed 8 lbs 6 oz when he was born on April 23 this year

Zara and Mike's first daughter Mia weighed 7 lbs 12 oz when she was born in 2014. The new arrival will not have a title as she is not an HRH

Mike Tindall also doesn't have a title and Zara, who was born down the female line as the offspring of the daughter of a sovereign, is not entitled to be an HRH

Zara's father, Captain Mark Phillips, is thought to have been offered an earldom by the Queen when he married Princess Anne, but he chose not to take it

Their announcement comes more than a year after Zara suffered a miscarriage just before Christmas in 2016

Life Is What You Make It - Duration: 3:11.

(phone ringing)

Hello.

I'm Marcus Fowler,

who owns a little grocery shop.

And you are welcome to come and visit me

at any time.

Myself, I try to be friendly with everybody

even if I don't know you.

That is my way, you know.

But that's the way St Helena is...

... friendly.

St Helena is home, and that's the way it is.

Sometimes we put up with things that we can't get at times.

I mean, right now,

people can't even buy one egg on the island.

You got to go hunting around for an egg

and things like that.

Beer! They don't run out of that.

No, no. They make sure of that, yes.

Yes, even myself,

I probably complain too about this and that.

But, people must realise,

this little island is like a paradise to elsewhere.

It's a hard struggle for some people.

There's some people in the world who haven't got this,

they haven't got that.

We've got to be grateful for what we have.

Appreciate everything that we've got, yes.

You've got to make yourself happy these days.

That's the way I figured it out, you know.

Life is what you make it, they always say.

Be happy. And make yourself happy, you know.

Not a dull moment, no, no.

I don't let things get me down.

You get the rough with the smooth.

I just enjoy my life, you know.

So I'm happy,

and hopefully everybody else is happy.

That's me.

Hi everyone.

Thanks so much for watching this weeks film.

How to fix a whale gulper (shower waste pump) on a narrowboat - Duration: 6:29.

I make a prediction on how long you think this is going to take it's handy

because it's just about to tick over to 1 o'clock so I'm gonna

say we'll have everything away my optimistic guess is by 2pm my realistic

guess is by 5pm

so between 1 and 4 hours I think this is going to take what about you?

You said it's 1 o'clock all right so I'm saying everything put away by 2 okay yes

I want to get it done in an hour so we have to unpack under the sink everything

everything has to come out because the shelves have to come out both shelves

then get the gulper out disconnect the gulper turn off the electricity and

pull the gulper out clean the gulper reinstall it put everything back in the

cupboard that's an hour's work even

optimistically that's two hours

OK, thats everything out okay

what time is it?

Have a guess how long that took. 10 minutes yeah 9 minutes

there's the culprit

That was only another 10 minutes yeah Oh its hot under there!

So what we want to do is take this apart and we

really don't want to replace anything we really just want to clean it out we

noticed a couple of days ago that because we take navy showers and we turn the

water off between soaping up and washing down we didn't really notice that the

gulper was working slow until I had an indulgent shower the other day and then

we started to talk about it and realized that the gulper probably wasn't working

as efficiently as it could

it's clear okay so if the gulper essentially isn't you can get spares

kits to replace like these seals and stuff but the seal looks really good

quality it's a bit gunky in there which is to be expected with all the showering

the stuff that goes through so I guess I'll just give it a quick wash over and

vinegar and then put back together but that's the only bit that the water goes

through maybe these filters need to come off just to have a look because that

that would be stopping

well we cleaned it pretty thoroughly so these were kind of yellow that's all the

gunk that came off it inside is pretty squeaky-clean and we're gonna reassemble

it and see whether or not that fixes the problem

we are up to thirty minutes we

have been under the sink we've put the gulper back and we have tested it and it

took how long what's the time it's just coming up to four o'clock yeah what did

I say four or five he said five and in our defense there was a slight extra

problem that we located welcome to boat life that so the reason

that it took a little bit longer is because I found another problem under

the sink there was a pipe that had a very slow drip coming from it so every

probably about 1:00 in the morning the boat would burp and if you have a water

pump a bit yeah if you have a boat you know what I mean it's just suddenly a

there's a leak somewhere so fortunately hopefully we found a slow leak under the

sink that was really good I'd fixed that as well and then when we put the gulper

back together we thought we would check the external piping the pipe that takes

it out of the boat and if you passed by today that's what you saw me doing guys

so many people pass by and say hi I had a flexible metal kind of pipe

cleaner sink cleaner that I was inserting into the outlet and then found

that there was a whole clump of hair so I'm actually thinking that our gulper is

fine you saw it when we pulled it apart so that's why we then went to the

to clean the pipes because there was nothing wrong with the gulper except for

a slight buildup of gunk yeah but that wouldn't have caused the pressure to

lose that's all clean now that's life really so hopefully it's been

interesting for you and slightly informative if you are thinking about

cleaning your gulper if it would literally like we stopped the clock and

we were 20 minutes in and we had the gulper in pieces and then we started the

clock again 20 minutes ago and so pretty much from go to wu just to clean the

gulper it took 40 minutes and if you were going to replace the parts in your

whale gulper it would be a similar process there's one extra bit the

suction cup that we didn't take off yes but if you were replacing it you get a

replacement parts kit and it's really straightforward you just undo those two

screws and replace the parts yes so if we can do it well if I can do it anyone can

hopefully you liked it give us a like and if you want to subscribe click the

subscribe button and click the bell to be notified for more videos

thanks for watching bye

Ted Cruz Suggests Solution To End The Border Chaos—Even Trump Is Listening Close - Duration: 2:20.

Ted Cruz Suggests Solution To End The Border Chaos—Even Trump Is Listening Close

everyone knows the 2016 election was a bitter fight not only between Donald

Trump and Hillary Clinton but between him and Ted Cruz but the two men have

become fast allies they have the same conservative goals and want to see the

southern border secured now that the liberal media has stirred up its latest

storm to try to hurt Trump Cruz is offering an Cruz is offering an ingenious solution to the child separation crisis.

from the Washington Times senator Ted Cruz

announced a new bill Monday to stop family separations at the border calling

for a massive infusion of money and manpower to solve the problem without

going back to the days of catch and release instead he called for fast

hearings quick asylum for those who qualify and speedy deportations for

those who don't qualify and he said families should to be kept in detention

together until that happens what these cases are pending families should stay

together children belong with their mothers and fathers he said once their

cases have been adjudicated under my legislation in no longer than 14 days

those who meet the legal standard should be granted asylum and those who don't

should be immediately returned to their home country this is far better than any

solutions the Democrats are offering and if Donald doesn't budge at all on this

situation even though it was created by his Democrat predecessors he will be

painted as cruel and uncaring maybe there's a better solution out there but

Trump needs to come up with it fast this looks like a pretty smart option and it

would also show that Republicans can work as a team to come up with

real-world solutions and it would let the world know that conservatives truly

care about refugees families and those seeking asylum without opening our

borders to anyone who decides to run across the border what do you think

#1: Corkscrew Curls Here's a heavily textured style for black

women who crave layers of strong tight curls for maximum oomph.

The sides cascade softly around the neckline but the back continues to deliver tons of

curls and endlessly drapes those beautiful crochet braids all the way down the spine.

Curly weave hairstyles create a look where volume is high on the agenda.

#2: Long Black Weave A side part weave adds glamour to dark, sultry

black hair.

Sew in weave hairstyles blend with your own natural tresses to appear as fluid as this.

A simple cheeky waves are all that is needed to turn an ordinary style into an extraordinary

one!

#3: Burgundy Ombre Hair With colors as rich as these, strong messages

are sent out.

Black emanates an air of mystery, sophistication and seduction, whilst warming burgundy resonates

with power and ambition.

Here we have two striking statements in a long, asymmetrical style.

#4: Full Sew-In Weave A full weave is one where your natural hair

is placed into braids and a weave is sewn into those braids completely covering the

head.

That's the technique used to create this chic lob.

A deep side part and sleek blow dry give a polished finish.

#5: Side-Parted Curly Weave This voluminous side part weave has a youthful

and free feeling to it.

Notice the curl is styled in a more natural way that makes this look stand apart from

the more common barrel curl.

Add some small braids here and there for an unexpected and creative twist.

#6: Orange and Red Pixie Weave Weaves are a great way to add some color without

dying your natural hair.

This color blocking technique combines warm tones in a trendy balayage design.

Go with a short edgy cut to showcase the highlights in a unique way.

#7: Weave with Long Bangs Bangs can often make a statement all on their

own.

That's definitely the case with these extra long feathered bangs.

Use a round brush when drying to create a soft swoopy curl away from the face.

#8: Weave with Sia Inspired Bangs Our hair choices are often influenced by our

favorite celebrities.

Weave hairstyles are no exception and provide added options that may not work if using our

natural hair.

Put a spin on a quick weave bob by incorporating a gorgeous burgundy color and some pop star

grade bangs.

#9: Long Feminine Weave A long layered 'do with flowing curls is

one of the most beautiful and timeless long weave hairstyles.

The shorter layers help to frame the face, while the longer ones accent the curl and

add volume.

Wear your hair down for a night out or pull it up into a glamorous ponytail for work.

#10: Red Violet Centre-Parted Weave The lighter shade gives the hair a metallic

sheen that is set off by the darker underlayer.

A straight weave will best show off this coloring.

But if you opt to curl the bob, you'll get a dimensional blend of black and red violet

ringlets.

Do I Still Need A Website? - Duration: 13:21.

Websites are ancient history. No! Do I still need a website? We're going to talk

about that and why.

Alright, let's dive right in. Websites. Why, if and do, why? So, I feel that I have a

pretty unique perspective on this because I used to own a web design

company. We designed, you know, five hundred plus web sites and I used to

believe that websites we're a lot more important than I do now. I think a

web sites are a lot... Because they were. Right. They were very important then, right? But

now we have social media and now we have YouTube. And so, web sites have

become less and less important. And you may not even need a web site at all.

Really? So even though if I'm a YouTuber and I

have my stuff out there and if I'm trying to make money off of my own

business, through my YouTube presence, do I not want to send people to this site

anymore or what? So, the answer is yes but instead of spending ten grand on a

website or you know, putting so much thought into it. Make a one-page website

or I mean, the exceptions of that is if you're going to have a sales funnel and

whatnot. Maybe we'll get into a little bit more. But instead of having a

page, that's your homepage and then the about me page and this page and

that page and creating all these articles and things to try and do SEO

for your website. You don't have to do any of that. You just want one, clean, simple site

or people can come and say, "ah, Scott is legit. Here's this and here's what he

offers. Here's how to contact" And maybe and you're going to feature a YouTube video.

I was just going to ask. So, on that paired back simple page, one page, am I still

putting my YouTube videos or is it just a link to my channel or how what does

that look like? So, your website is a sales page and so, any of your

typical daily episodes on YouTube, you don't need to feature in there, you don't

need to have, you know, just link back to YouTube for that because then you'll get

more engagement. But on your website, that's your sales page and so if you've

got promo video... the steps that will take people emotionally through that the

process of having them enter your sales funnel. That's what your website

is for. To give you credibility, enter your sales funnel. You don't

need it to develop a relationship anymore. So, it's all about, I mean, I see. You

basically are saying whatever I'm doing on YouTube is where that relationship is

now a...or other forms of social media. YouTube, obviously, being the one of

choice. So, I'm assuming that a lot of people watching this video right now are

kind of like they're filling at odds with what I'm saying. So, let's just

talk about it from principles and I've got some notes here that I'm going to

reference because I've put some reasons why you would want a website or why people think

they want a website and let me preface it by saying, that of the five hundred plus

websites that we designed, that my clients were so proud of and they were

happy like look at me I've got a beautiful website. They got so little

traffic. Even back then when social media was less important that it is now.

That how important really is a website if you're not even getting that much

traffic on it. But for most the clients that I work with that are influencers,

that's kind of what I'm focusing on here is websites in this niche. Yeah,

people think that a website will help you build a relationship with a client,

okay? Where are you really building relationships with the clients? Right now,

where might be doing that on Facebook. Obviously, I'm going to promote YouTube

because people see you, they interact with you, they see your face and

they're taking on this daily adventure with you. But they're

communicating with you maybe on Twitter, they're following you on

Instagram. So, this is really where the relationships happening. So, is it then

happening on your website too? No, that's usually where they're finding

more about the products that they want to buy or how to interact with you or

what programs you have. How to actually contact you. So, the... Because the

website is, primarily, fairly static. I mean, there's not... there's nothing

really dynamic going on. Unless you have a real media filled site and all these

things that you're linking to. But the fact is, through these other platforms

you just mentioned, there's so much energy that a website almost by

comparison seems rather last-century. So, I closed on my website

company because I really believe this. I think that clients now can just go to

wix.com or something like that and just put up a quick website and

don't worry about, "Ooh, I got to do this and this I kind of created an about me page

and telling my whole story so they can get to know me, I can build a

relationship." That's not where it's going to happen. So,

another reason is, so, people can find out what you do. I think that's still pretty

legit, you know, if you're talking about what you do in terms of what you offer,

service wise or product wise. That's what people to expect to find on your website.

But it's real simple to do that. You don't have to have as an elaborate of a

sales funnel because typically you want to build a relationship first and then

step them into your sales funnel gradually. Now you can just have your

sales funnel blatant on your website because that's what people are there for.

You start to build the relationship off of your website. And you drop seeds you

let them know, "Yeah, I was speaking at this event such-and-such and this is

what happens." Okay, now they know that you speak. Or "Yeah, I put on this event and so."

Okay, now they know that you put on these boot camps or "Yeah I had a client that

was telling him... he gave me feedback on this product he bought from here." You know,

so, you just you dropped seeds of what you do, you let people know through

conversation about that. Now, they have reason to go to your website when

they're ready to buy something. Are people still buying things from websites?

Here's one cool thing that most people don't realize. People actually don't buy

stuff from your website, they buy it from a shopping cart. You can spend a lot of

money and create your website into a shopping cart but that's the lame way.

Even when we designed websites for our clients, we would use an outside shopping

cart and then put a link so when they're ready to buy it or add it to their cart,

they hit the link. A popular example is PayPal, Okay? PayPal is the shopping cart

they're the merchants, they take care of all of that and you just put that PayPal

link on your website. When people buy something from you, they're not

actually buying it from your website. Your website might be a portal. So, you

can actually you don't even need a website you could have a PayPal link

that you share on Facebook or in your email. You know, If people

are ready to buy something, here's the link, you'll drop a link down in the

description of your YouTube video and they'll go right to the shopping cart

they won't go to your your website. But obviously, you know, you can have a portal

or an entrance to it on your your website. Next one here is, people can...

People have a website so people can join their list, what is that? So, that's a real

big one. Now again, it's actually not your website where they join your list we're

talking about an email list or becoming a part

of your own database. Would that is similar to being a subscriber? Exactly. Okay. If I

have a YouTube channel and people subscribe, I don't actually get a list of

all those people, I don't get to send them a message whenever I want. If

I upload a video, they may or may not see it. If they ring that bell, then

they'll get notified from YouTube. But I don't really control who

does that or how many people or anything. And so, the biggest reason to have a

website is so that people can join your list. But you'll actually use an

autoresponder, a tool like MailChimp or 1shoppingCart or ProCart or

Infusionsoft and so, you just have a little forum on your website that then

links to one of these tools that I just mentioned that it manages your list.

So, you could have a thousand different people on your email list and if you

want to tell them it about an event or you want to let them know, "Hey, this is a

special video I just made. You got to check this out." You can then notify them

and send it out yourself. So, that's one of the biggest reasons to have a website.

Again, like in Infusionsoft, you can just create a landing page using their

software you don't have to have your own website and you just link people to the

opt-in form, you know, subscribe here. One of the best way is, this kind of a site

bonus to throw in there. One of the best ways to get somebody to join your list

is to give them something valuable for free. So, if you've got a book or an

audiobook download or something like that,

you can let people know when your videos or whatnot, "Hey, go to this link and you

can get my book for free." It might be a page on your website that, "Yeah, here's

the free book." Put your name and your email. Hit submit and then they join your

list. That's hugely important because you control that now if YouTube disappeared

or a Facebook disappeared. Now, you don't have followings anymore. Now, you've

actually created your own following there. So, that is a good reason to still drive them to

the site. That's probably the most compelling. That last one there. A

place where people can go that you control 100%. Well, that's similar to what

you were just saying a little bit with the lists. Yes, so if I have a YouTube

channel or somebody's watching a YouTube video, what's on the side? Other people's

videos, right? Or if I'm on Facebook and I want to control the conversation

there's all sorts of stuff going on around that are distracting people from

paying attention to me. Whereas, if they're on my website,

they're only seeing me, I control the whole experience. So, that's obviously

a big plus but how much time are people really spending there? You know, so, when

you get them there, what you specifically want them to do? Do you want

them to opt-in? Then don't worry about all the fluff or all this fancy

stuff trying to build a relationship. Just give them what they want. Tell them

the next step. So that, you can get them to join your list. Be real specific. If

you want to watch a video, if you want them to then leave there and go to

another place. I mean be real specific about what you want them to do and keep it

simple. So, you talked a little bit about website SEO which I know stands for

Search Engine Optimization and I know that has something to do with

search terms and how people get to your site or something but that's pretty

much. Absolutely, I would say, across the board, anyone watching this video does

not need to do website SEO. They don't need to do, to try and get any organic

traffic to come to their website, at all. The biggest reason for this is you

can't compete. And we'll make another video on the details of SEO and where

SEO is good and where SEO doesn't work anymore. Making this long story short,

you can't compete on a website for a small business or an influencer. Your

website will not rank where it's going to be... It's simply won't end up on the front, two

or three pages...If you're searching for a product, we go right now onto Google and

we search for a product. What's one website that I know we're

going to see? Amazon. We're going to see Amazon. So, put your product on

Amazon and focus on getting your Amazon product to rank. Try not... Don't worry

about getting your product to rank on your website because it's not going to

happen. You'll be way more successful of creating a video about that product and

putting it on YouTube. You can get it to rank like that versus all the work it

takes to get your website to rank for it. So, it's SEO for your video topic. Am

I saying that right? As opposed to your website. The exception

to this rule is, if you go to Google and you search for something and you're a

competitor and you see your competitors right there in front of you then maybe

yours is the type of business where you need to ignore what I'm saying and

do SEO on your website. But if you're not seeing your competitors there, just build

up a YouTube channel, focus on SEO on social media which we'll talk

about in more detail in the next video. Well, I would think most people that are

watching this have the kind of small business that we all have. So that for

them, they hear, "You don't waste your efforts on SEO for your website, use it

on your YouTube channel your YouTube videos and all of that." That makes more

sense to me. And it's good news. It's good news too because it just a relieve

stress. Because SEO or building your website or stressing about making

every page perfect, it should be a good relief that you can just simplify things

and when we say, "Okay, you still got to do SEO for your YouTube videos." It's so much

easier. So much easier to market that way and we'll talk about this as I said.

And you know how to do that? Yeah. So, you have clients that you help do that with.

That's what he does. That's all I'm saying. So, if I'm understanding

correctly, the answer to the overall question, "Do I still need a website" is

Yes. It's a yes but you could get by without one and I'll say instead of

having this much energy put into your website just put in. Just put in a little

bit of energy. Go to Wix.com and create a free one that's beautiful and... I

love that because I'm literally in the process right now of kind of revamping

mine. Good to hear, that to make it simple is better plus with the social media...

Here's a strategy for you. Hire a professional photographer not a

professional web designer. Get a photographer to take a real amazing

picture of you that that conveys what you want it. Put that as the entire

background for your website, on Wix and then put, you know, a few

links here and there, put a video. That'll look really sharp. It'll show

that you're professional because you had a real professional photographer do that

and it's yet it's simple you don't have to hire a web designer. Right, right, good.

Love it. So, what do you think? Do you think I'm

crazy or do I know what I'm talking about here.

I'll let you be the judge. But if I'm the judge, I'm going 50/50.

But it makes good sense. Hopefully it was helpful and we'll see in the next video.

The Best BRZ Exhaust Yet! - Duration: 17:15.

what's happening everybody welcome back to the BTR garage my name is Justin yes

we have hit another gigantic box to open up here another exhaust system for my

2017 Subaru BRZ I think I think this is finally the one we're gonna keep on the

car I've been searching far and wide for a long time trying to find the perfect

exhaust for this car for my requirements this might not be the perfect exhaust

for you but I'm really particular about what I put on my car got to be

lightweight it has to meet sound restrictions at Racing sites and a house

the sound and look good as well so what we have in the box here today is

Dezod Motorsports dual exit exhaust system before the BRZ FRS or 86 it comes

in under 30lbs and of course I am going to weigh it and try to confirm

that weight and then hopefully my quest for the perfect exhaust for my BRZ by my

requirements will be complete I won't have to worry about this in the future

if I still have qualms with this exhaust and it's not what I hoped I'm going

straight to the CSG Spec Touring 86 exhaust that one is tried-and-true it's

a little bit heavier than the one we have here in the box by about 6 or 7

pounds but we're really splitting hairs at that point but now we're gonna go

ahead and get this thing unboxed take a look at it get it weighed and then we're

gonna get it on the car take off that old custom exhaust that have had on

there for a while and then check out the Dezod Motorsports exhaust on the car

all right with the exhaust now out of the box I am already loving this thing

it is clear that the Dezod Motorsports exhaust is a handcrafted exhaust it's

not a mass-produced exhaust like you get from a lot of the big companies these

things are handmade at their shop and mine was actually handmade I think from

the time I ordered it I had to wait a little while to get it but it was worth

the wait the professional level welds are top-notch I'll give you guys a

closer look at those here in just a section but the handcrafted

craftsmanship that goes into this is clear right away and the design is a

little bit different than some of the other exhausts I've reviewed or

installed on the BRZ obviously we have the mid pipe section with the resonator

in the middle kind of a medium sized resonator nuts as long as the stock when

the stock one is maybe almost twice as long as this one but a little bit

thinner then you have the connector pipe which actually connects your mid pipe to

the muffler section since the muffler section is a center entrance that pipe

has to connect something like this I'll lay it out on the ground so you guys can

see what it looks like and then the muffler section I think is probably the

most unique of all of the exhausts that I've seen and that is because instead of

having one large muffler section in the middle here or a straight muffler like a

single exit has this has two small mufflers obviously in the center here

joined by this little white pipe which is really cool and again the welds which

we'll take a closer look at in a second are just awesome I've seen a lot of

welding in my days with turbocharged cars and turbo manifolds and exhausts

and things like that and these are awesome welds of course you also get to

your bag of gaskets and nuts and bolts this one also came with a donuts to

replace the stock one that comes in the car where the mid pipe connects to the

front pipe so let's get a little bit closer look at the welds and kind of see

the craftsmanship of the exhaust checking out the muffler section of the

exhaust you'll notice that the tips are not too crazy pretty standard pretty

basic four inch muffler tips

and the small-sized mufflers on the muffler section you can begin to start

to see the quality of the welds and the Y connector pipe which connects that

muffler to the other connecting pipe some very sweet welds going on in here

taking a close look at the flange welds you can see again the high quality there

last thing we're gonna do of course before we get this thing on the car is

way up the exhaust sections add up how much each piece weighs to get the total

weight of the exhaust so we'll start off with the muffler section likely the

heaviest piece in the whole kit see what this one comes out to so we got an

eighteen point eight and we got an 18 point six so we'll call it eighteen

point six eighteen point seven pounds the small pipe we can actually fit on to

my little scale here see it started off at zero we have three point eight two

pounds for the small connector pipe and lastly the mid pipe and if my math is

right we're already at about 23lbs so this thing's got to be really light

for it to be under 30lbs and I'm not sure it's gonna make it

so we got 12.2

11.2 let's try that again here and an 11.6 we'll do one more and see kind of

what we average out with on this guy so eleven point four so I'm gonna say right

so 11.4 so I'm gonna say right

around eleven and a half pounds so with everything weighed up now we're hitting

just about 34lbs all the pieces weighed up this is not a sub

30lbs exhaust at least by my scales of course

there could be a pound or two variation but even if we take a couple pounds off

we're still at 32lbs of weight for the total system so my quest

for a sub 30lbs dual exit exhaust I don't know if it's

ever going to happen but we're gonna go with this one 34lbs is

still lighter than the stock system and lighter than any other dual exit exhaust

system that I have tested I think the CSG Spec Touring 86 is advertised at 36lbs

maybe someday I'll get my hands on that exhaust and weigh it with my

scales as well as see where it comes out but we've got 34lbs for the

Dezod Motorsports exhaust now for the fun stuff we're gonna get it on the car

see how it fits up and then finally take it for a test drive

all right the Dezod Motorsports exhaust is on the car and I got to say the

fitment on this thing is top-notch it's ten times better than the custom exhaust

that I had on the car and granted that was a custom-made exhaust it wasn't a

manufacturer of exhaust but the fitment on that thing was a lot tighter in here

this exhaust you guys can kind of see the piping up here is nicely centered in

the transmission tunnel here or the driveshaft tunnel and my other custom

exhaust was actually hitting the heat shield up in that area whereas this one

has quite a big gap in here I can fit my whole hand or arm behind here and

there's no touching of any of the parts so that is a plus and the center

entrance or the center exit on the muffler section back here where the pipe

comes back towards the middle of the rear of the car versus going out towards

the side I like that design a lot better let's take a look at the tailpipes on the car

so again the exhaust tips are not very glamorous with this exhaust

unlike the Blitz Nur-SPEC exhaust that I had before that VSR that had the burnt

titanium tips that looked really cool these are just a plain brushed silver

and actually look really nice when the exhaust is installed on the car the

fitment is again nearly perfect with these guys they don't protrude too far

they're not sunken in too deep like the stock exhaust tips are and they fill out

the diffuser holes pretty well

all right so enough looking and talking about this thing we're gonna get it down

off the quick jacket and get some exhaust notes during startup and then

get some sounds driving down the street as well

alright guys let's do this first drive with the Dezod Motorsports exhaust

so it's a little more throaty than I thought it would be sounds good though

let's go ahead and get out of the neighborhood here

all right so it is a little bit louder than I thought it was gonna be just

going through the neighborhood but not terrible at all definitely not as loud

as some of the single exits that I've had

all right so we got the car up to temperature we can let it rip just a

little bit here

yes sounds pretty good sounds pretty good it's got some rumble to it not like

a boxer rumble but a rumbly exhaust note

definitely has that kind of deep rumbly I want to say droney type sound but

it's not drone like you get a highway drone or vibration kind of sound

I will turn it around here and take another fast pass so far I like it I can

put it in the fourth gear and kind of cruise along here and not really hear it

it does sound quiet enough so that it will pass sound restrictions at the race

sites that is obviously the big killer

all right let's go how about some we'll do some wide open throttle runs here

yeah love that sound on the deceleration

alright guys so that's gonna wrap it up for the Dezod Motorsports dual exit

exhaust I like it it sounds good it looks good it fits really good and

top-notch craftsmanship with the exhaust there's only one more test that I need

to do with this thing and that is make sure it passes the sound requirements

again at the race site so I'll find that out this weekend I don't think it will

be a problem

and that's gonna do it for this video we're gonna wrap it up thanks again

everybody for watching I really appreciate it if you have any thoughts

or comments leave them down below I'd love to hear from you like always stay

fast out there I'm gonna check out of here we'll talk to you all next time

Is Pollini's Chopin Etude Opus 10 no 9 too slow? - Duration: 15:12.

We today, more than we perhaps realize, still live in a time that is driven by similar mechanisms

that surfaced from the mid 19th century: an absolute believe in progression, new = better

by definition.

Our social structures may very well have changed, but it is hard for us to accept a truth or

reality that does not align with what we still believe progression should be defined with.

In a similar way, only the idea that early 19th century musicians are two centuries behind

us on this timeline – and not an eternity ahead in terms of technical power, elevated

almost to a God like status, is for many today impossible to accept.

We would shiver from the idea of comparing those composers to the capacities of athletes

even a century ago.

Luther Cary in 1891, did not run the 100 meter in the 9.58 of Usain Bolt in 2009.

As perhaps Liszt wasn't the titan that would make our current generation of pianist look

like beginners.

Or as Chopin, who might have been technically very gifted but human after all, far from

the unrealistic image we created of the man who liked the intimacy of the living room

more than the brilliance of the concert hall and fought his entire life against a weak

health that would rip the world of this unique voice at the age of only 39.

In this video I'll give you some background and context of the notation and performance

of Chopin's music in general, his etude opus 10 nr 9 in F minor which I've uploaded

a few days ago in particular.

At the end of this video we'll take a look at the performance Maurizio Pollini gave of

the same piece.

Not to criticize the performance of one of the greatest pianists of our time.

Only to see if Chopin performances like these fit the original Chopin tradition, or more

that of a late 19th century pianistic way of playing.

So welcome everybody to Authentic Sound, my name is Wim Winters and this channel is all

about exploring the music from Bach to Beethoven and beyond, with the single goal to inspire

you on your journey as a musician or as a music lover.

And don't worry, I do realize that for many of you, certainly if you're new to this channel

and have not heard yet anything on the underlying research towards tempo reconstruction, my

performance of Chopin's etude opus 10 nr 9 must have been a complete shock.

Yes, often we are told - and I'm no exception to that- that the metronome numbers in Chopin's

case are only ideal speeds to strive for, not really meant to be reached.

As a piano teacher once told me, Chopin's metronome numbers are given by the master

to bring the best out of everybody.

Yes.

I think that was the basic idea of Chopin.

Or of all those others, Beethoven, Hummel, Ries, Czerny, Moscheles, Mendelssohn, Tomaschek,

and so on.

Therefore they took the effort and time of in one case marking a piece with 96, next

piece 88, then 104, then 76, and so on.

Imagine how much time they all could have saved just by writing 'as fast as humanly

possible' above each piece!

No, contrary to this 'as-fast-as-possible' explanation, one of the easiest things to

"proof", is the seriousness and the accuracy with which those early 19th century musicians,

Chopin included, marked their own performance speeds for their compositions.

And realizing that the choice of tempo is one of the most important decisions a musician

needs to make, a choice that influences a whole lot of other elements, including the

character of the piece, we'd better pay a little more attention to these little numbers.

It's almost as good as a CD recording.

Hmm.. perhaps not almost as good as a CD recording, but in any case, it's a huge difference

with a situation where we would NOT have those speed indications.

Today, these metronome numbers are most often completely denied.

Surprisingly as well by the so-called historical performance practice movement, for which group

one would think this information- being prime PERFORMANCE indicators- should be above the

beds of everyone involved.

There will be many reasons for not wanting to deal with them, the main reason besides

fear for change, for sure is the refusal, almost as a default position, to accept any

explanation that might lead to an even minimal decrease of common tempi.

Though we do see a change, especially with a younger generation of musicians that seem

to be more open to change and experiment, the wish to be accepted as a musician with

high technical standards, also in HIP circles is a big concern.

However understandable this attitude is, whoever claims to be interested in reconstructing

the composer's wish in his or her performance, will have to deal with the thousands of metronome

numbers they left.

Statistically, we have so many speed indications that they become relevant and errors easily

can be filtered out.

Yes, many of those numbers, including the Chopin ones, are extremely fast.

Yet we have two options to deal with them.

Either read them as we do today, where one tick gives the speed of the represented note

value in the metronome number.

Or we take the old, historical method, described even from the middle ages onwards, where the

note value represents the Tact (in German), or Mésure (in French) or Time (in English),

in many historical writings on music synonym for 'Schlag'.

You'll find lots of descriptions up to the 17th century, full In the old mensural notation,

one semibrevis – a whole note- had 'one schlag', where schlag litteraly was the

arm of the leading musician going up and down.

The 'Schlag' was completed when the arm returned to its original position.

The up AND down together had the duration of the Semibrevis, the Tact Note.

I'm working currently on an article that will scetch you the evolution, easy to follow thanks

to google search, into the 18th and 19th century.

You'll quicly find the same terminology related to the pendulum, chronometer or... a metronome

number.

Also in Chopin's time, that original meaning and understanding was still all around.

For instance, a description on how to use the metronome, given

by Eduard Jeu in 1838 . I quote: (quote)

In English: "On the unity of beats or the movement

40.

The movement is the mesure of Time.

(...) 41.

One, or better: two vibrations of the pendulum can be taken as a unity.

42.

In order to demonstrate this binary unity (so, composed out of two movements), we take

the sign of the quarter note, knowing that we do not adhere to this quarter note an absolute

time duration: the only function she has is to remind us on the two movements more or

less faster, but synchronised, meaning, equal, by which they mark the unity.

43.

We imitate then with the right hand the two vibrations of the pendulum, while moving up

and down.

When we come down with the hand, the beginning of the next unity starts, that will end with

the next down position of the hand, the moment where a united second will follow."

So in our case here of Chopin's etude n°9, which has the MM of dotted quarter note = 96,

we place the weight of the metronome on 96, and each single swing will give us the half

of the note value in the metronome number.

Because, the two ticks together– in French : two temps give the complete beat, Vibration

or Schlag.

It sounds more complicated than it is.

Just try it and you'll enjoy the simplicity of it.

But even if we hadn't libraries full of "proof", it would not be too difficult

to come with a similar explanation.

Many pieces simply become unplayable in what we often call 'single beat'.

Just try a Czerny etude.

Or this F minor one by Chopin.

Do realize that we very rarely hear any musical piece performed in the speed indications given

by the composers.

So don't fall into the trap that certain musicologists like to set for you, that every

piece would become half as slow compared to what we today have set as a standard.

That's an ugly trap in fact, since we indeed rarely hear a piece that fast.

Roughly said, for a reconstruction both in double or in single beat, a correction must

be done of an average of about 30% in both directions.

Also for this etude.

Even Pollini, not particularly known for his slow performances, is 10% under the literal

speed as given by Chopin.

And even then, he feels the need, technically or musically, to slow down drastically at

the end of this etude.

I'll give you a fragment so you can see for yourself.

(music) This kind of over-the-top rubato did not exist

in Chopin's time, but in any case is not indicated here by the composer either.

In the historical tempo, there is no need at all to suddenly pull the handbrake.

Not talking even on the character of this piece, which still is Allegro, and where the

left hand depicts aspects of a world that rapidly changes through mechanization, where

one almost hear the pulses of the steam train.

Connecting people, or... taking them far from their home country.

Not talking either on those repeated 16th's, forte, after a slight smorzando pianissimo

in the previous bar.

In the literal tempo, remember that is Pollini + 10%, there is no way those repeated notes

can be played "a tempo", even on a perfectly regulated Steinway of today.

Let alone the Pleyel that Chopin loved so much, but has not given him a repetition mechanic

at all.

The Polish master was not after a repetition mechanic either, since the company Erard could

have delivered it to him already since 1822.

Yes, we must realize how much we still are impressed, biased perhaps even by technical

abilities, before we really can free our minds in the fascinating search for what could have

been the original message of the composers we still admire so much today.

Certainly in Chopin's case I'd say.

That was it for today!

You can expect a separate video or even a series of videos on how the metronome was

used in those days, based on historical writings, I promise you that.

Over the summer we might change our schedule slightly, to create some room for writing

on the subject in a broader sense.

More on that in next week's video.

In the meantime thank you all for watching and reflecting with me on this fascinating

Pamela Adlon Talks 'Better Things' Season 3 | In Studio With THR - Duration: 8:43.

(heavy percussion music)

- Hi, this is Mariah Gullo from the Hollywood Reporter,

and I'm in studio with Pamela Adlon today.

Hi.

- Hi, Mariah.

- We were talking about Better Things.

- Awesome.

- Very excited for season three to get rollin'.

Are you excited?

- I'm really excited.

I have writers this year and we've mapped out

an entire season and some beautiful stories.

I forget about what we're doing because

I'm in a cocoon and I'm working and I'm writing

and then I'm home and I'm cooking for my kids.

So yesterday I went shopping to get some food for,

my daughter was waiting in the car,

and I walk out and this woman goes, I love your show.

I love your show, thank you for making your show.

And I just was like, oh, I have this show.

- Yeah. - I have this show,

and people have that kind of response so, (hands slapping)

I have a responsibility to keep people passionate about it.

- Yeah.

Are there any plot lines from the last season

that are more of your favorite plot lines,

like things that you still think about today?

- Where Frankie was and how we had our little

thing and the stuff with Phyl, my mom

- Yeah. - on the show

and it's so interesting because, you know, people my age,

we kind of have this kind of nagging thing in the

back of our heads like, are our parents okay?

How much longer do we have right now with this good moment?

You know, people always have kind of a set back

and then all of the sudden it's like nothing happened,

so you just speed along.

I liked the stuff that happened with Henry Thomas,

who played Robin, and seeing Sam go down a road

where she kinda loses control.

And the fun stuff, like with Jeff and,

in the truck and saying no, no, no,

and just (laughter), you know.

My feeling about season two,

which I really wanted to convey and that I feel

happened is it takes a village to raise kids.

And you don't have to have a perfect nuclear family.

It's really about the people that you bring into

your life that, if you give your children to them,

and they give themselves to your children,

it's just the greatest way to raise your family.

- Yeah.

Sam Fox's world very much feels like a bohemian world.

Very creative.

Is that something that you think is unique to Los Angeles?

Is that kind of a unique experience

that you've felt growing up here?

- It.

- [Mariah] Or is kind of an ideal in Los Angeles?

- It's kinda just the way my daughters

and I live our lives, you know?

That's just the way, we're growing up in

art and music and food and culture.

Those are the things that keep us

moving forward and keep us inspired.

I just want to share that way we live in my show.

- And how is it going with the, you know,

the relationship you have with the three

actresses that play your daughters?

I know your daughters kind of picked them out.

- Yeah.

- So how is that experience of watching them

get older and working with them and?

- Well, it's so funny because like every once

in awhile I'll text the girls' parents and be like,

how old is Olivia now?

Send me a picture of Hannah's hair.

- [Mariah] Right.

- Did Mikey turn 18?

It's been incredible seeing how

they've grown as people and actors.

It's just an incredible kind of way to

look at different kids who aren't your kids.

I have a huge responsibility to all of them.

All, everybody.

- You have six daughters now.

- Yes.

(laughter)

- Do you recognize what you don't want out of a sitcom?

- You know, for me, authenticity is everything.

I want things to look and feel a certain way

and I want it to sound a certain way.

I'm very particular.

I'm a voice over actor, as well,

so I've always said that my talent isn't as much

as the voices that I do, it's my ear.

So for me, my show is about my vision and my

ear and being able to kind of procure an

authentic experience for people and keep it

funny and raw and hard and uncomfortable,

and sometimes dirty, and always just with

a heart and just an uplifting feeling.

- Yeah.

- That's a lot.

(laughter)

- Super woman.

Is there anything that you want to start moving

away from as far as plot lines or...

- I don't know.

- [Mariah] Yeah.

- I don't know.

I'm kind of introducing new things in season three,

but yeah, I certainly don't want to keep

clanging the same bell on everything.

Like, oh she's a single mom and she's doing it alone,

I mean, your life takes you in different directions.

And my own real life daughters are all older now

and we get pleasure from each other in ways

that we were never able to do before because

it was a lot of managing and taking care of them.

Now they can take care of themselves a lot more.

But, I always make sure that I'm there for them

because even when they get older,

they still need you, if you're lucky.

And they still want you.

- Yeah.

Last question to you.

Your last episode of season two had a musical number in it.

Can you tell me that day, the dance sequence,

what that day of filming was like.

- Oh, it was amazing.

I kept it a secret from Mikey the entire

time we were in prep and production.

I would do secret choreography

on the weekends with Kat Burns.

I would take Celia with me.

I wouldn't let anybody play the song,

talk about the song, I wanted to keep it so under wraps.

It was an incredible experience.

I had a techno crane and I had

hundreds of people on my crew.

I think after the third take I slipped my disc.

- Oh no.

- Which to this day is my mark, my badge of honor.

You could see me kind of barely being

able to move once the dance starts,

but that song for me, my friend Heather

had played me the video, because we were kind of,

she was doing my hair and we were showing each

other our inspirations and I was like,

you gotta check this out.

And then she was like, I'm obsessed with her,

you gotta check this out.

And then that song rolled over and over in my head.

And then, I watched the video a bunch of times.

And I knew (hands slapping) that I wanted to

recreate the video in my show with my girls.

And it was just one of the

greatest experiences we all ever had.

- Amazing.

So, I know I said that was the last question,

but if season two was community, what's season three?

- Getting older.

- Getting older.

Pamela, thank you so much for being here.

- Thank you so much.

- Better Things on the FX channel.

Loote - Wish I Never Met You (Lyrics) - Duration: 3:26.

I was fine till the night that your friends Introduced me to you, fucked me up

We got high at the bar now the bar's so high Girl, on the night we met in the city

I should've just got drunk and stayed home But now I got a piece of you with me wherever I go

I'm still alone

Thinking oh-na-na, eh-na-na Dammit, I wish I never met you

Oh-na-na, eh-na-na Dammit, I tried, I can't forget you

Never knew what I was missing Till I had you, then I didn't

Oh-na-na, eh-na-na Dammit, I wish I never, never met you

Dammit I wish I never, never met you Dammit I try but I can't forget you

Dammit I wish I never, never met you Dammit I try but I can't forget you

I've been lying awake and a ghost In my brain won't let me shake it

I keep on running into your girlfriends And they knew me back, back

Back to the night we met in the city I should've just got drunk and stayed home

But now I got a piece of you with me wherever I go I'm still alone

Thinking oh-na-na, eh-na-na Dammit, I wish I never met you

Oh-na-na, eh-na-na Dammit, I tried, I can't forget you

Never knew what I was missing Till I had you, then I didn't

Oh-na-na, eh-na-na Dammit, I wish I never, never met you

Dammit I wish I never, never met you Dammit I try but I can't forget you

Dammit I wish I never, never met you Dammit I try but I can't forget you

Girl, on the night we met in the city I should've just stayed home, nah

Got a piece of you with me wherever I go, yeah

Thinking oh-na-na, eh-na-na Dammit, I wish I never met you

Oh-na-na, eh-na-na Dammit, I tried, I can't forget you

Never knew what I was missing Till I had you, then I didn't

What we know for certain about the universe—and what we don't | Michelle Thaller - Duration: 6:41.

Evie, you ask a wonderful question: how many galaxies are there?

And this is something that we actually don't know the answer to, but I can tell you a wonderful

story about what we do know.

So let me first talk about what a galaxy is.

And a galaxy is a family of stars, but usually in the hundreds of billions of stars.

We live in a galaxy called the Milky Way and there are about 500 billion stars, we think,

in the Milky Way Galaxy.

Galaxies are absolutely huge.

The Milky Way Galaxy is about 100,000 light-years across, and that's not really a number I

can get my mind around, seeing as one light-year is about six trillion miles, so our single

galaxy is 100,000-times-six-trillion miles across.

It's absolutely huge.

The best analogy I know is that if you think about the sun—the sun is a giant thing,

the sun is so big you can fit a million Earths inside it.

It's really, really big.

And if we made the sun the size of a dot of an "i", so pretend that the sun is only

the size of—like take a regular page of a book, look at the dot of an "i", if

the sun were that big, how big would our one Milky Way Galaxy be?

It would be about the size of the earth.

So that's how big a single galaxy is.

If the sun were the dot of an "i", the Milky Way galaxy would be roughly the size

of our planet.

Now how many galaxies do we know of?

And this is a wonderful result from the Hubble Space Telescope.

The Hubble Space Telescope decided to try to answer that question, and what it did is

it looked at an area of the sky that, as far as we knew, was blank, it was just black;

we couldn't see many stars there, we didn't see any galaxies there, and it decided to

take a very, very deep distant look at the universe.

Now, the way the Hubble Space Telescope (and any camera) works is it works kind of like

a "light bucket."

You can actually open up the eyes of the telescope and tell it to just keep staring, and the

longer it stares the fainter and more distant objects you can see.

For those of you that like photography, it's called doing a time exposure.

You leave your camera open for a certain amount of time and you can see fainter and fainter

things.

Well, incredibly, the Hubble Space Telescope kept its eyes open on this one little part

in the sky for more than a month, and it just let any light come and build up this beautiful

image, and what we discovered is that in this empty part of the sky—empty we say!—we

counted over 5000 galaxies.

Five thousand galaxies we didn't even know were there.

They were just so faint we'd never seen them before.

When we finally had a sensitive enough telescope up in space and we were able to keep it staring

at a tiny little part of the sky for a month 5000 galaxies turned out to be hiding there

that we'd never seen.

So, how much of the sky was this tiny little part that the Hubble Space Telescope looked

at?

So let's go back to the dot of an "i".

So think about the dot of an "i" in a book, and now hold of that book at arm's

length.

It's a tiny little point, you can almost barely see the dot of an "i" held at arm's

length.

That's how much of the sky the Hubble Space Telescope counted 5000 galaxies in.

And if you do the statistics, if you take that little dot in the sky, and by the way

we've done this, we've taken other deep images in different regions of the sky, and

we get about the same count of galaxies anywhere we look.

If you do the math, tiny little dot all over the sky, 5000 galaxies in each dot, there

are actually several trillion galaxies that we can see with the Hubble Space Telescope

if we had the time to observe the entire sky.

So we know that there are several trillion galaxies that the Hubble Space Telescope can

see, but is that really the number?

Is that how many galaxies there really are?

The universe we think is far larger than we're able to see right now.

So we're actually building telescopes that are so powerful—the James Webb Space Telescope

we hope will launch in the year 2020, and that will be so powerful it will be able to

see every single galaxy all the way back to the beginning of time.

So it will be able to see so far away that the light has taken 13 billion years to get

to us, and we should be able to see in any part of the sky every galaxy that's ever

formed in the history of the universe.

Is that the answer?

Is that how many galaxies there are?

Well, I ask you to consider there's something that astronomers call the observable universe.

And that is that if we take a telescope and we look in every direction around us, there

is in fact a limit to how far we can see.

And that's because the universe is not infinitely old.

We think the universe began about 13.8 billion years ago with the Big Bang.

So we can only see as far out as there's been time for light to get to us.

So we see in every direction in the sky out to a distance where we're looking back,

say, about 13 billion years, and that's wonderful, but does that mean that's how

big the universe is?

No.

The universe must be much larger than that, it's just that there hasn't been time

for light to get to us from the rest of the universe.

If the universe is around for another 20 billion years, we will see farther and farther and

farther out into the true universe.

We have no idea how big the universe really is.

We can only see the part of it where there's been time for light to travel to us.

The universe is not a sphere centered on us—that would be very, very strange.

That's just how far we can see in every direction since the beginning of time.

So what's the real answer?

How many galaxies are there?

And this gets to one of the most amazing things that we don't know and that is what is the

size of the universe.

For all we know the universe could be infinite.

It may be that the real answer is that there are infinite number of galaxies, space never

ends and there are galaxies throughout an infinite universe.

Or maybe the universe isn't infinite.

Maybe there really is some vast shape to it that we're not aware of yet.

Just like how we're standing on a spherical earth right now, but it seems flat to us because

we can only actually walk around a little part of it at once.

It could be that the universe has a larger shape and maybe it even has boundaries, maybe

there really is an answer to how big the universe is.

But in in the time the universe has existed there hasn't been time for light to travel

to us from the farthest reaches of the universe.

So right now we honestly have no idea how many galaxies there are.

Spillin' The Tea: 'Drag Race' Queens Expand on The Vixen's Dialogue on Racial Bias | Billboard Pride - Duration: 11:45.

- Now we're gonna talk about boys, boys, boys.

- The one time in my life I tried to pretend

to be a top I met this boy

and as we're going at it he turns around

and he goes, I can't believe I'm getting fucked

by Ginger Minj.

It turned into an innie, it tucked itself

and I was like, you have to go.

(upbeat music)

- Hi guys.

How's it going, it's Shea Couleé

and I'm here with Billboard Pride and we are

spillin' the tea.

Alright, ladies so now I know most of us

have been watching season 10.

My Chicago sister, The Vixen, she has brought up

a subject that hasn't really been talked about yet

and that is the racism that exists

within the 'Drag Race' fandom.

And so I just want to toss out,

I'll toss it out to you first Jasmine

about what your experiences are and we can talk about that

and then maybe just open up the floor for like

a cute little dialogue.

- Well, for my own self I don't read social media,

so everything that I was told I was getting was

third party people information,

but I did see the postings and everything.

Me, myself I kinda started that whole situation

because I knew it was gonna come towards me regardless

so why wait on it when it's gonna come to me.

So I went on Twitter and I said,

oh now I'm getting this and now I'm getting that.

Then it all started pouring in.

But honestly, I just feel like

if you don't like somebody don't waste your time on them.

Life is too short to do that.

So while you telling me a lot of negative stuff

it's not doing anything to me, it's not bringing me down

cause I'm a strong person.

I already know who I am and who I was and all that.

But I just think it needs to stop cause it's not even

worth it because if you push somebody to the limit

to where they commit suicide

and the FBI and the police are looking

you're labeled as a murderer.

So I do wanna press charges on your ass

if you kill one of my members for being

a bully on social media.

But it's fucked up.

- It's really crazy.

And as someone, a black, queen who was fortunate

to have a lot of great support from the 'Drag Race' fandom

there is a different side of that token

where I was the target of a lot of race based hate,

and the thing that's really difficult about that

is I think that for us on the outside world

it's already so nasty, and it's already hard

and we're marginalized people especially

in the LGBT community and sometimes it's really difficult

and challenging when you feel like you're getting hate

from people within your own community because you want

to have everyone lift you up, you know,

and help build you up,

and I think one thing that is really great about

what has happened with Vixen is that,

you may disagree with the things that she says,

she's a really polarizing person,

but the thing that's great about polarizing people

is that they create dialogue, you know racism

it's one of those things that is really knit into

the fabric of our society,

and the only way that we can make it better

is by slowly pulling those threads out, you know?

And unveiling the nastiness and mending it

but I think with my girl, Vixen what has people shook

is that she's not like, going at it like she's a tailor

she's ripping those seams like anarchist.

- And I believe, what you said was,

you may not agree with what she says.

I agree with everything she says

sometimes I don't agree with the way that she says it

but I think that there's a valid point

in everything that she brings up.

- It's very, it's a valid point.

- Oh go ahead, no. Do you want to say something?

- Well I was gonna ask, and I don't wanna put the

burden of education on you, but you know,

when you looked at your sisters in that season,

in your season.

Is there something that they could have done

that you would have wanted them to do to support you

when you were receiving racist comments

and hatred in that way?

Or would you rather that they just held back

and, you know, just let it be your thing?

- I think being an ally is really important.

I think it's really important to step up,

you know as a person who may have certain

inherent privileges.

I think that no one likes to be called a racist, you know.

And my thing is the best way to educate people

from my perspective, is it's kind of like inception.

You have to get them to come around

and have like a realization for themselves, you know?

And I think it's a lot easier when they have

like minded people.

When I say an ally or a white person speaking out

to other white people

you're instantly connected because it's someone

with similar experiences.

The same way like two black people can communicate

in a way that feels really easy.

It's the same thing so being an ally as a white queen

it is helpful to us to always speak up

and be like--

- No that ain't right.

So tell me this.

How can the fans help us out, and help the world out

you know with all this racism and stuff

but at different minorities in our community?

- Well, I don't know.

I have an opinion to say in general

just because I feel like for me specifically

obviously me and The Vixen have maybe personal issues

clicking with each other, which has noting to do with race

but of course immediately the fandom goes straight

to it being a racial issue.

Which is not fair to either side.

First of all I support The Vixen

in everything she represents.

I've even commented on posts of hers regardless

of maybe us not getting along she is a fighter

and I don't think that she is a fighter

as far as poke the bear.

I think she's a fighter as a part of,

she wants to represent a piece of her community

that she feels like a lot of people are afraid

to stand up and represent it,

and she's not afraid to fight in a poke the bear way

to make sure that she gets her point across.

- Well, let me tell you, oh sorry.

- Oh no I just have one more thing to add.

Me coming from, I come from East Tennessee,

a very southern, small town back woods hick place

where I was taught ever since I was little

to look at people a certain way

including their color, their gender,

their sexual orientation, everything and I had

to fight that stereotype my whole life

but I find myself even now coming into the bigger city

montage, you for example even season nine

including the Vixen, different people have taught me

to educate myself more

so that I'm also more intelligent about the fact that

the smallest things can be considered maybe racist

or hurtful to a minority that we don't even realize.

So I think the smartest way about it,

don't automatically push someone down because they're

fighting for something they believe.

Educate yourself on it first

and then give your opinion.

- Good allies listen.

- Just like Eureka, I was born and raised

in a very small southern town that teaches you

a certain mindset, and it's up to you to pull yourself

out of that.

- And what really opened my eyes to that

- You get it beat into you.

- was on season seven, you know Kennedy and I

we went the entire journey together.

We spent that time together.

We made a lot of the same mistakes together

and shard a lot of the same successes,

but looking at social media, yes I got hate

I got plenty of hate.

But looking at her getting a hundred times more hate

than I got for the same exact situation

was really eye opening to me.

And it made me realize, it doesn't matter if you are

a fat homosexual cross dresser, like you are still

privileged and you still are elevated to a certain level

without even trying and that kind of hurt my spirit

a little bit.

- Cause see like, for instance like,

the things that I say

and the things that Bianca say.

Like our talking and our speaking to people

is totally different, like she will rip somebody

to shreds off the bat.

I will bring up topics and just go from there.

And I'm like, we're different but our mouths

are pretty much the same.

But she would get praised, but me I was,

oh you putting down this person,

oh you putting down that race.

No, I'm like everybody breath stink.

you know what I mean?

You wake your ass up bitch your breath stink.

Everybody wiff of that before so it's just always been

a pull and take with, you know.

- I think there's definitely a bias on many levels for that.

One for certain it's obviously color.

I can't say that I can relate in any way to the color

of my skin being a judgment from people

but obviously I've experienced sizeism,

I've experienced homophobia and other things.

But then to also have to defend something that

you definitely can't control

and it's the hugest appearance on your body, you know.

My heart goes out to all of my people of color in the world

you know because it's a hard road to live.

I've learned that maybe more so in the last like

couple of years than ever before.

And I'm just honored to have amazing people like you

and for me even The Vixen is incredible to me

and I appreciate her because she showed me to

educate myself.

- And now with our new regime we see all of the

confederate flags everywhere.

I do where I'm at in Texas and we used to never

see that stuff, and now we see that kind of crap.

And I asked at Drag Con last time I asked the kids

when I'd hear an accent, something in their voice,

you know a tone if they're from the south.

I said, are you seeing this?

And they'd say, yes they're seeing the confederate flags

and different things like that.

And this has got to change, it's good that it's in our face

but it has got to change, it's unfair.

- I think it's sad.

Like, we're the people who have the ability to really

change it cause like, drag is you know, it's punk.

- It aint', it ain't because for instance like on my season

I didn't get nobody saying, oh girl, I'm here with you

while I'm getting all that hate,

me and Kennedy went through that together.

I didn't get nobody from none of the girls

on the season.

Not putting you down cause me and you did talk.

- We talked about it, but it was also after I realized

what was going on because I didn't even understand it

till I saw it in black and white.

- I think another thing is that sometimes

the thing that makes it uncomfortable I think

for someone that is born into white privilege

is that we don't know sometimes where we can

overstep that boundary of defense for our friends

of color because it can be a hard thing to like--

- It's scary sometimes.

- It's vulnerable for us too in a different way weirdly.

I mean I literally, my dad beat my ass

because I kissed a black kid at school,

and it didn't matter that he was a boy,

it mattered of the color of his skin.

You know what I'm saying?

That's the way some people in our world are raised

and it's not fair.

- Well I think we've like, touched on

some like really amazing topics.

And like I think have put some really good ideas

out there to help us be more inclusive in this community.

So that's all the time that we have for this segment

so yes.

- We have so much more to talk about.

(laughing)

- Thank you guys so much.

Thanks for tuning in to Spillin' the Tea at Billboard Pride.

Trip through Istanbul (Turkey) - The Jewel of the Sultan. - Duration: 7:06.

My little ones, today was very entertaining.

It's time to go to dinner,

drink a tea,

a coffee,

and go to bed tomorrow will be another interesting day in Istanbul.

Kisses.

In theory that was what I had thought,

but I lie so much that I assure you that I did not go to sleep early.

I started the night on Istiklal Avenue,

and I finished it by crossing the Bosphorus.

Now I'm eating some chestnuts,

that are very good

On this avenue in the morning there ice cream,

in the afternoon chestnuts,

and at night you find every Turkish that is very good,

and win the ice cream and chestnuts.

To start the night,

I recommend Istiklal Avenue,

in this way you will find all kinds of commerce and leisure activity.

Give it to me.

There, you've hit me in the stomach.

Come, give it to me.

That does not give me the ice cream.

Seller: Mix.

Yes.

Seller: Spanish?

Yes.

Seller: Madrid or Barcelona?

Madrid.

Seller: Madrid, Ronaldo.

From Barcelona.

Seller: Messi.

Seller: Atlético de Madrid.

But good

Give it to me.

That last.

It was incredible.

When I was going to take the ice cream, it disappeared.

I was wondering, where is this ice cream!

The seller had taken it from me.

Very funny.

Thankfully, he does not do it with money.

This avenue is the most famous in Istanbul,

nearly three million people attend daily.

Now it's time to eat a Turkish bread.

Let's buy.

I'm eating a Turkish bread.

It's good.

It seems like a bird's eye, but it's good.

As well,

You can walk this avenue with the nostalgic tram of Istanbul.

The service is provided in cars from the beginning of the century,

and even the reviewers wear period costumes.

The service is available from seven in the morning, at nine in the evening.

After walking,

and having eaten a Turkish bread,

some chestnuts,

and an ice cream.

It's time to go to dinner.

I'm getting very fat.

After this trip, I will recover my body.

In the meantime, I will enjoy Turkish food.

As to not enjoy Turkish food, look what it paints.

The area of Taksim Square,

It is full of restaurants where you can enjoy a nice and exquisite dinner.

I recommend this area.

After dinner and stroll the nostalgic tram,

a cake would come very well.

Amazing.

This is the world of candy.

Amazing.

Amazing.

Friend: This is the same.

Friend: It's the same.

I'm going to put on my boots.

Amazing.

Sincerely my friends,

I did not know what to choose.

This is what the pie that I bought has been worth.

Seventeen with fifty Turkish liras.

Approximately, about three euros and fifty cents.

What will this be about "HAFIC MUSTAFA"

What a surprise he had between his legs

Friend: Very very Good.

This, yes, is to get flavor.

Amazing.

If you visit Istanbul,

go through this store and you will see what flavor you get.

Amazing.

I'll keep getting chubby.

What if I noticed myself in Istanbul,

There were street musicians on every corner.

But not only were these troubadours,

but the people of this town responded very well.

I could appreciate how the Turks spend a lot of money with the street musicians,

Logical that there are so many.

Mainly this couple of the last Mohicans thanked me very much,

and I gave them a few Turkish liras.

As you can appreciate my friends,

They gather many people watching their show.

Believe me, that these are very good wage.

Here we have other troubadours,

They make very good money.

Because as I said before,

The Turks are very grateful to these musicians.

But the Mohicans win with much difference to others.

I saw them on different nights and they always gather a large number of people,

and a large amount of liras.

Of course, Latinos are everywhere.

These guys who were dressed as Indians do not know if they are Colombian, Peruvian or where.

But of course

Live,

Latin America

Subsequently my friends, I went to enjoy a night cruise on the Bosphorus.

But I do not know what the hell I did, to erase the images.

I am sorry.
