Youtube daily report w Jun 20 2018

This is Diamondback's new Hardtail, the Sync'r Carbon.

It'll be available later this year, but for now it's just a frame with no parts

on it.

Diamondback hasn't worked all that stuff out yet.

If you've ever built a bike from the frame up, you know it's easy to forget parts and

tools.

I mean look at all this stuff!

It's inevitable that you'll forget a seat post clamp, grips, or any number of specialty

wrenches, and you're sure to find out when it's too late to do anything about it.

But today we're seeing this through to the end.

This will not be a detailed tutorial, but rather a synopsis of this bike build.

Some of these parts are from my official channel sponsors, Diamondback Bikes, Box Components,

and Slime Sealant.

The balance of the parts were contributed by other friends of this channel.

To be transparent, thank these companies for their support, and reduce the number of "what

part was that?"

comments, I'll go into detail as the build progresses.

With that said, prepare to geek out.

It's new bike day, and this time we get to build it.

The first thing I like to do is set up the wheels.

These TR41 wheels were provided by Box Components.

Also provided by Box is this 50 tooth cassette.

As with any metal on metal interface, we'll apply grease first.

From there the cassette just slides on and stays in place with a lock ring, torqued down

with a cassette tool and big wrench.

Now to install these 2.8" Havoc Pro tires provided by Kenda.

Because these rims and tires are tubeless ready I'm leaving a section open for the

sealant.

A lot of people ask if this is the same Slime available at auto parts stores, and the answer

is no!

This is their tubeless formula, available online and at bike shops.

It's not always easy, but with a little gorilla action most tires can be installed

without a lever, reducing the risk of damaging the bead or rim tape.

With a blast of air the tires snap into place, and we're ready to mount the brake rotors.

I'm using 180mm slotted rotors, provided by TRP.

But but but, you're not supposed to use a drill because—I know.

I'm just screwing these in most of the way with the drill, and then torquing them down

manually.

Nothing's gonna explode, it'll be fine.

Next I'll lightly clamp the frame into the stand so we can get to the good stuff.

Let's start with the bottom bracket which was provided by Raceface.

Although this frame is carbon, the bottom bracket shell is machined from aluminum, so

we can apply grease and thread these bearings in like normal.

I'm using one spacer on the drive side to get the width right.

And of course I'm missing the proper wrench for this bottom bracket.

So I'll just do what everyone else does.

Also provided by Raceface are these Next R carbon cranks and this 30 tooth narrow wide

chainring.

Paired with that 50 tooth cassette, I should be able to climb real slow.

From there, the crankset slides into the bottom bracket, and over the spindle with the turn

of this 8mm hex bolt.

Next up more bearings.

I bought a headset online but forgot to order races, so I robbed them off another bike to

make this build happen.

After applying some carbon paste and lining up the races with a mallet, I'll use a press

to sink them into the frame.

In the absence of a crownrace tool, I'll carefully tap it down on to the fork with

the plastic side of my mallet.

Let's talk about this fork.

This bike was originally getting an MRP Ribbon coil, but it didn't show up on time for

this build.

That was my fault.

So I glommed a Fox 36 off another bike, took it to my friends at Squatch, and had them

reduce the travel from 160mm to 140mm.

The fact that they had the parts in stock and were able to verify over the phone that

they'd fit, is a testament to how good of staff Squatch has.

The result was a great fork in the perfect configuration for this frame, but I'm still

hoping my Ribbon will arrive in time to travel with this bike.

Installing a fork and installing a headset are actually one in the same task.

The big bearing goes on the bottom, the small bearing on top, then the compression ring,

then the dust cover.

Finally the spacers, the stem, and the top cap.

Now we're ready for these Box One downhill bars, but first we need to reduce their width

to 770.

For that, I'll clamp them into the workstand, line up my hacksaw, and prepare to careful.

According to the safety enthusiasts in my comment section, carbon dust is like anthrax.

With the bars in place, we can get to the fun stuff.

I only received the derailleur hanger this morning, which luckily came with the right

bolts.

For shifting we'll be using the Box Two 11 speed derailleur, a less costly version

of it's Box One counterpart.

It works with that 50 tooth cassette, features an all new clutch, and signature box styling.

I'm excited to give this a long term test.

To string the drivetrain together, I'm installing this rose gold Box Hex Lab chain, which seems

to be the right size already for this gear combo.

Now we can set up the cockpit, starting with all the levers and these Box One grips.

First we'll set up the dropper post which is internally routed.

I'm using a Raceface Turbine R 150mm post and thumb lever.

Thanks to this access port in the bottom of the frame, hooking it all up is pretty straightforward.

With a seat post installed, we don't need to clamp the workstand on the frame anymore.

Now for some stopping power, courtesy of TRP.

These Slate G Spec 4 piston brakes have tons of modulation, use mineral oil, and come with

really really long hoses out of the box.

Of course, they also come with everything you need to shorten them up.

Just unscrew the hose, trim it to size, jam in a new insert, slide on the bolt, and then

the olive.

I'll bleed these later since we most certainly introduced some air into the system.

On to the calipers which just bolt on to the frame and fork.

To align them, leave the bolts slightly loose to allow the caliper to move, hold down the

brake lever to center it up, and then while continuing to squeeze the lever, tighten the

bolts to hold the caliper in place.

Perfect.

While we're working on the cockpit it's time to dial the shifting.

Back at the derailleur, these limit screws determine how far up or down the cassette

you're allowed to shift.

The b screw determines how close the upper pulley can get to the gears.

This bolt holds the cable in place, and this barrel adjuster at the shifter can make fine

adjustments to the tension.

Of course, it shifts like a dream.

And with that we're down to fine details, like adjusting the angles of the levers, and

installing all the other stuff I forgot about.

There are also these pedals.

Raceface was clean out of stock on black Chesters, so yeah.

I haven't even crashed this bike yet, and it's already black and blue.

And look what just showed up.

My Ribbon coil fork.

Alright, let's do this.

And with just a few hiccups, we have built a murderous hardtail.

If you could rank all the bikes in the world by beauty, I'm positive the top spot would

be taken by a hardtail.

They just look so freaking good.

But we can only stare at this bike for so long.

I would have done a real trail test for you guys, but it's getting late and I need to

pack this thing up for a trip!

By the time this video airs, I'll be pushing this hardtail to its limits in the Rocky Mountains.

Stay tuned next week for an all day ride on the longest day of the year.

Oh yeah, and let me know what you think of the blue pedals.

Thanks for riding with me today, and I'll see you next time.

2011-2014 Mustang GT VMP Stage 2 GEN II-R 2.3L TVS 735HP Supercharger Review - Duration: 8:08.

The Gen II-R Stage 2 Kit from VMP will be for the 11-14 GT owners out there who want

one of the most potent TVS setups available in the aftermarket capable of cranking up

over 700 horsepower in its current configuration and even more with different pulleys and accessories.

Now the kit that we do have here will include just about everything you're gonna need to

get everything in place in addition to a custom tune from VMP.

However, it will not include a handheld device so prospective buyers will need to factor

that into the nearly $7,000 price tag of the Stage 2 kit.

Your install, listen, guys, it's gonna involve a lot of work.

It's not gonna be for everyone out there, so because of that we're gonna go three out

of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here with a little bit more on that later

in the video.

Now in my humble opinion, VMP took the 2.3-liter TVS Supercharger or Rotor Pack to the next

level, first, with their Gen II offering, and took it even further with the Gen II-R,

which we're talking about here today, which is, by the way, capable of over 1,000 plus

horsepower to the tire.

So what is the big difference between the two?

Well, that Gen II took the original split two-piece elbow design of the early TVS and

made it into one large opening, while at the same time incorporating that elbow into the

actual housing, which showed a nearly 20% improvement in flow.

Now the Gen II-R here, on the other hand, took that design and made improvements to

the housing and the elbow, enlarging everything essentially behind the Rotor Pack and giving

you essentially, again, a ported blower, for lack of a better word, right out of the box.

Now this thing will give you maximum flow compared to the Gen II and, of course, the

Gen I, and will allow a bigger throttle body to be bolted up to this guy, increasing your

flow overall.

But aside from that much better housing and design with the Gen II-R here, the heart of

this thing is, no doubt, that TVS 2300 Rotor Pack.

Now the TVS, or Twin Vortices Series, is an extremely popular design that's gonna utilize

a twin 4-rotor load pack that is twisted altogether 160 total degrees, which according to Eaton

and VMP is just gonna create a much more efficient flow over the older style of blower, which

is the M122 found on the Terminator and things like that.

And basically it's just able to create and make more power but at lower boost levels.

But aside from the actual Rotor Pack and housing assembly here the Stage 2 Kit will also give

you the lower portion of the blower, which is actually your air-to-water intercooler

of the Supercharger system, and by the way, is designed to work with this bad boy right

here, and that is the VMP Triple Pass Heat Exchanger with their Dual-Electric Band setup.

Now in my opinion, guys, this is a big-time upgrade that is certainly worth pointing out

because, let's face it, heat can be an issue on a positive displacement car, like this,

of course, and especially in warmer climates like Florida, Texas, California, things like

that.

So the fact that VMP did include this with their Stage 2 Kit is really killer in my opinion,

and it is a very nice addition.

On top of that extra capacity and larger core.

In fact, it's 13 inches tall, 3 inches thick to be exact, you're also getting the Twin

Electric Fan setup here with this particular kit.

And altogether, guys, this is gonna be crucial in keeping those IA2 temps down considerably.

Those are the important ones, guys, especially when you compare this to a smaller heat exchanger

that you might get with a comparable kit on the site.

Now other notable parts on the intake side include the JLT 123-millimeter mass airflow

intake here, which again, is one of you larger options in the category, especially when talking

about kitted TVS setups.

Now that guy will be feeding the twin 60-millimeter throttle body here.

This is a Ford OE part, and of course that will go onto the housing itself here.

In my opinion, one area that you should definitely upgrade because you are getting this massive

inlet here with the Gen II-R housing.

It's gonna flow really well.

You don't wanna choke it out by using a slightly smaller throttle body.

Now I'm not saying that won't work, probably gonna make a whole bunch of power for you.

But if you were to throw a Twin 65, a Twin Jet 67, or even a big, old monoblade on there

from Ford performance it's really gonna feed the Gen II-R housing all of the air it deserves

and more.

Now as far as your fueling is concerned, well, VMP does include a set of 56-pound injectors

along with some unique high-flow fuel rails, which are fed a little bit more juicy courtesy

of the VMP Plug-and-Play Fuel Pump Booster, or Boost-a-Pump, as they're sometimes called.

Now this guy is gonna be responsible for cranking up the voltage on that factory pump.

In order to keep up with the fueling demands of that now blown [inaudible 00:04:49] engine

and those larger injectors.

The Stage 2 Kit will also feature the 82-millimeter pulley from VMP, which is gonna put you in

the neighborhood of about 10 pounds of boost or so, depending on your modifications.

But it should be pointed out that very, very easy to swap those guys out.

Easily changeable down the road if you either wanted to raise or lower the boost depending

on your goals.

Now in addition to that you are getting all of your hardware, all of the wiring, your

belt system, your tensioner system, basically just about everything you need to get this

thing in place, making it, I would say, 99% complete.

Now I say 99%, because, again, this kit does not include a handheld tuning device, such

as an SCTx4, for instance, which will be required and necessary for uploading your included

VMP calibration.

That is nice, to point out, they are giving you an included tune here when buying the

Stage 2 Kit.

You just need to provide the device.

Now the kit does not also include a colder spark plug, which is something myself, along

with VMP, will recommend when upgrading to a kit like this because it's a great insurance

policy against preignition with increased cylinder pressure and a health diet of 91

or 93 octane.

But when it's all said and done, what can you expect when installing all of the parts

and the calibration onto your S197 GT?

Well, VMP does give you some crank numbers of 635 horsepower, which depending on your

transmission should land you somewhere in the low 600-horsepower range to the rear wheels,

give or take the dyno conditions, things like that.

Now pulley down, make a few changes or tweaks, and essentially the sky is the limit with

the Gen II-R here.

Now on top of the massive power increases over stock, the VMP tune will also be an extremely

streetable tune, meaning the car is gonna drive like stock for the most part until you

unleash hell with your right foot.

And listen, guys, as a VMP customer I can tell you this from experience.

The crew down there, including Justin Starkey and the rest of his guys really know their

stuff in the aftermarket, and especially even more so when it comes to TVS applications.

But what about the installation?

Well, again, this one will not be for everyone out there as there is a fair amount of work

involved in addition to clearancing that front-engine cover a little bit to make way for the new

belt system.

So with all of that in mind let's call this a three out of three wrenches on the difficult

meter, and at least a day or two in the garage.

Leave yourself a nice little weekend to get this one knocked out.

Now VMP does have a rather solid write-up on the site of some step-by-step instructions,

or you could always check out the stage four build of my S197 right here on the site, which

does touch on some of the larger parts of the installation with my TVS-powered GT.

But shameless plugs aside, if you're looking for, I would say, one of the most capable

and potent 2.3-liter setups in the aftermarket with some really nice components tossed in

for good measure, I would check out the Gen II-R Kit from VMP right here at americanmuscle.com.

Moonlight - Gwent in-depth Guide - Duration: 18:49.

Hey everyone, Green Cricket here, doing weekly in-depth Gwent guides chosen by the community

to help you reach your goals in Gwent.

Last week you requested some Moonlight action, so I've taken the deck from the Team Aretuza

Meta Snapshot and dug into it!

We're looking at the Card and Decklist

A Mulligan Guide The general gameplay plan of the deck

How to play against each matchup and an example match.

If you are interested in more decklists then check out the Meta Snapshot on the Team Aretuza

Homepage and Subscribe if you like what I'm doing.

To vote for next week's guide just leave a comment below and now let's head right into

it.

The idea of the deck is to put as many boons and hazards onto the battlefield as possible

and then play as long as possible, to get the most benefit.

Through Moonlight, we can either spawn Full Moon on our side as a boon, triggering synergies

of friendly cards, while boosting 1 random beast or vampire by 2 at the start of every

turn or we can spawn Blood Moon on the enemy side, dealing 2 damage to a creature when

it enters the blood moon.

To get Moonlight onto the boards we have Sirens, which pull a Moonlight card from the deck

and play it, Nekurat, who can either spawn Full or Blood Moon and Triss: Telekinesis,

who can create another Moonlight card for us, as well as Reconnaissance, if we need

it.

Werewolves buff themselves by 7 on their first contact with Full Moon making them a 14 point

play and besides they are immune to single target spells and abilities like Mandrake,

Vipers and more, but Scorch, Igni, Villentretenmeth and co. can still hit it.

If we need tempo, then we play a Werewolf.

We have 3 Foglets in our deck, which jump out of the deck, everytime Fog is deployed

on the enemy's side of the board.

To do that we can either use our leader Dagon, Vaedermakar or we can use a Bridge Troll,

to relocate an already existing Fog to another row, which also counts as applying Fog.

Foglets are an excellent thinning and tempo tool because it makes our Dagon a 14 point

play, Vaedermakar a 10 point play and Bridge Troll a 14 point play, in addition to the

weather damage that will tick from then on.

Having 3 Foglets in the deck also increases their blacklisting value.

Ozzrel can consume a bronze or Silver unit from your or the enemy's graveyard, getting

you a big chunk of points most of the time, but it can also be used to deny the enemy

a resurrection target.

Whispess: Tribute can pull us Mandrake or Monster Nest.

Mandrake is never bad to have since it can deny critical cards of the opponent and typically

is worth a ton of points.

Monster Nest is a sound card because it gives us options.

We can go with Barbegazi to get Carryover if we are behind, we can use Drowners to pull

enemy's into the Blood Moon, Ancient Foglet gets us 1 point per round as long as fog is

on the board and so on.

All good options.

Frightener enables us to counterspy and to move enemies back into weather.

Caretaker is another card to deny the enemy a resurrection target and enables us to get

even more points onto the board.

Last but not least we have Miruna, which is a high risk and high reward card.

If you don't like her, you could replace her with Muzzle for example, but personally, I

think she is an excellent addition to the deck.

After 2 turns, Miruna charms the highest enemy on the same row, often creating insane point

spikes.

However, since she only has 4 power, she can be removed very easily.

If you have secured card advantage or you still have a Frightener, then you can play

her without opposition, so always try to go for that.

About the mulligan.

Cards you want to keep are: Your golds, Frightener, Vaedermakar, Werewolf,

Siren and a Bridge Troll.

Cards you want to get rid off are: All Foglets

All Moonlights and Mandrake or Monster Nest, if you have Whispess on hand.

Always start Blacklisting either Foglet or Moonlight and always start with the one, of

which you have fewer copies in hand to get the full blacklisting value.

Typically we want to play the deck like this.

We always play into round 1, regardless of the colour of the coin, because we could draw

Foglets or Moonlights in the round 2 Mulligan.

Also, we have cards like Ozzrel and Caretaker, which require units in the graveyard.

The goal of round 1 is to overwhelm the enemy with points to take card advantage, but also

to get as many Foglets out of the deck as possible, therefore improving our further

Mulligans.

On Blue, we start with Siren and establish Full Moon, on Red we start off with Dagon

or Vaedermakar to get Fog and Foglet onto the board.

If the enemy row stacks then we use Werewolves to get some tempo on the board, otherwise

we use Bridge Troll or Vaedermakar to get more Foglets on the board.

Try to establish a feeling for how much weather a round can take.

The guideline: If you think the round will be longer, put more weather on the board,

but it's good to have 2 Moonlights in reserve (best through Nekurat and Triss) because enemies

can override our weather with their Hazards in round 3.

If we would rely on only 1 Moonlight to trigger our Werewolves, then we might have a problem.

BUT don't forget!

You can play Werewolves as 7 point units and apply the Moonlight afterwards.

They will still get boosted, and even if they override the Full Moon with a hazard, then

the Werewolf was still played for the full value!

In a long round 3, we develop our weather and use Werewolves, for tempo and as fillers,

while the weather does the work for us.

In a short round 3, we want to have cards like Ozzrel and Caretaker, who are able to

generate a lot of value on their own.

When you are down to 2 cards, you want to play Miruna into the row, that will contain

the highest enemy unit when you are out of cards, so Miruna can get you the big point

spike.

If you have Frightener and Miruna in hand in the last round's Mulligan and you have

won round 1, then don't get rid of the Frightener and use it to gain card advantage.

This way you can play Miruna, after the opponent already had played all their cards, guaranteeing

Miruna to stick to the board.

Depending on the matchups, we need to play a bit differently.

Greatswords Fog will hit a Greatsword from time to time,

but there is not really much we can do, except using a Bridge Troll to relocate it onto a

row where the Longship and Greatsword have a wider point gap in between.

Therefore don't hesitate and get weather out as soon as there is a ship ticking, to get

Foglets out and to benefit from most of the fog ticks.

Your win condition is Ozzrel and Caretaker, so try to snack a Greatsword at the beginning

of round 2 and 3, to get a ton of points and to deny them value.

Miruna can charm the remaining last Greatsword in round 2 or 3.

Coral can't target her, and the only other denial is Mandrake, so as soon as you see

it played, Miruna will be safe.

Veterans Use Ozzrel and Caretaker to mess with their

graveyard and try to deny them Spearmaiden, Freya and Restore targets.

Even if you can't deny anything, you can still steal their highest units.

They typically have no weather clear so the longer round is, the higher is the chance

that you will prevail against them.

Miruna won't find that much value and Hunters can make quick work off her, so only keep

her, if you think she will give you value.

Axemen The good thing about Full Moon is that it

overrides enemy hazards.

The sad thing is that it can be overridden by enemy hazards.

Therefore wait with your Moonlights until you see Gold Weather or Skellige Storm played

so you can override it with your Moonlight.

Mandrake and Miruna can turn the tide of the match in round 3 and Caretaker can steal their

Derran from the graveyard, before they are able to resurrect it with Sigdrifa.

Swap Scoia'tael They can only use Ida to remove Weather, so

expect that it will stick, so don't be afraid of a long round, even though they can buff

their elves.

When there are a lot of Elves on the board spawn Blood Moon and use Bridge Troll to move

it around the board, hitting for a ton of value.

Be aware that Ida and Aglais can overwrite your Boons, so in a shorter round 3 play Werewolves

before you deploy Moonlight or your Werewolves won't buff themselves.

Nilfgaard Handbuff They can't deal with weather, but they will

put a ton of points on the board.

Therefore establish weather early to get the maximum value out of it.

Use Caretaker to steal a Spotter from their graveyard, use Miruna to take their highest

unit and use Mandrake to deny another one of their spotters or buffed up units.

Try to use those cards in round 3 to shut down your enemy, while you use Bridge Trolls,

Dagon, Sirens, etc. in round 1 to thin your deck.

Alchemy Establish Moonlight with Sirens, but play

Werewolves right after that, so Full Moon has a 50% chance to tick on the Werewolf,

which can't be targeted by Witchers.

Like Handbuff, they have no way to deal with your weather, so get the weather out and let

it do the work for you.

Use Mandrake on their Calveit to prevent Cahir and utilise Caretaker and Ozzrel to prevent

their Witchers from being resurrected.

Those might not be too much value in points asap, but you will prevent a lot of value

in the future, and Miruna's survival chances rise drastically.

Soldiers Slave Infantries will always spawn in at least

1 of your hazards, establishing Blood Moon is a good idea, especially when you move it

with Bridge troll for additional value.

Caretaker and Ozzrel can steal their Slave Infantries from their graveyard before round

3 to prevent their second setup, and if they play with Alba Cavalry, then you can use Mandrake

to remove their buff.

Deathwish Apply Blood Moon on rows with a Dao to make

their Griffin combo less useful and to have a little outburst of joy, when their archespore

jumps into the Blood Moon over and over again.

Full Moon can be overridden with their Dagon and Woodland spirit, so play Werewolves first

and only then use Full Moon, or their value could be denied.

Caretaker and Ozzrel can take care of resurrection targets for Brewess by stealing Archespores

for example.

Miruna will have a hard time because of their Cyclops, so depending on your hand and if

you have Card Advantage, decide in the round 3 mulligan if it would be safer to mulligan

her way.

Moonlight This will be a weather battle, so establish

your Werewolves before playing Sirens.

If they apply weather, override it with your weather, especially Blood Moon is useful,

because it already deals its damage on application

and it is pretty likely that it will be overridden again.

If you manage to get your Foglets out in round 1 and

the enemy doesn't, then you have an advantage in the mulligan.

And now, as always, let's look at an example match.

IT'S OVER DC Rocked By Jeff Sessions Announcement - Duration: 10:15.

IT'S OVER DC Rocked By Jeff Sessions Announcement

Attorney General Jeff Sessions was just hit with bad news when Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA)

told "Fox & Friends" that the House Intelligence Committee will move quickly to hold Sessions

in contempt of Congress.

"Two weeks ago we sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a classified letter.

Per usual, it was ignored…"

Nunes said, according to The Gateway Pundit.

"So last week we sent a subpoena.

Then on Thursday we discovered they're not going to comply with our subpoena on some

very important information that we need.

The only thing we can do is we have to move quickly to hold the Attorney General of the

United States in contempt.

And that's what I'm going to press for this week."

This comes after Donald Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani said that the original basis

of the Mueller investigation is dead and is expanding into other things.

"Everybody forgets, the basis of the case is dead," he said.

"Sessions should step in and close it.

And say, 'Enough is enough.'"

Giuliani then doubled down on this by saying that the probe was setting President Trump

up for a process crime.

"What they're really trying to do is trap him in perjury," Giuliani added.

"And we're not suckers."

Giuliani also called on Sessions to "intervene in the Michael Cohen case and put the people

behind the probe "under investigation."

"I am waiting for the Attorney General to step in, in his role as defender of justice,

and put these people under investigation," Giuliani said after he was asked about reports

that Cohen's phones were wiretapped by federal investigators.

Giuliani argued that if the wiretapping reports were true, it was a blatant transgression

of attorney-client privilege.

New Bike Day! | Building my Sync'r Carbon Hardtail from Parts - Duration: 10:33.

Don't compare Serena Williams to me or Martina, says Chris Evert - Duration: 2:24.

Don't compare Serena Williams to me or Martina, says Chris Evert

Chris Evert says it is ridiculous to compare Serena Williams with any of the greats of past eras.

The 18-time Grand Slam champion, who sits fifth on the all time list of most womens singles titles, explained that players are continually improving - which is why Serena has to be considered the greatest.

I think its apples and oranges, Evert said in an interview with CBS Sports.

The one thing you can say is that Serena [Williams] is the best tennis player that weve seen, but up until my era and Martinas [Navratilova] era, Steffis [Stefanie Graf] era, that was true as well.

The standards get higher and higher..

Williams, who will be going for a record-equalling 24th Grand Slam title at Wimbledon next month, became a mother in September last year.

Evert says will undoubtedly change her outlook on tennis, as it did for her during her playing career.

Im sorry, but being a mom, shes in a different emotional place than she has ever been in her life, said Evert, who has three boys.

Can she compartmentalize all of that and be almost robotic? Will she regain that focus that shes famous for? Its understandable.

You soften your edges.

Thats gonna be the big challenge..

What we know for certain about the universe—and what we don't | Michelle Thaller - Duration: 6:41.

Evie, you ask a wonderful question: how many galaxies are there?

And this is something that we actually don't know the answer to, but I can tell you a wonderful

story about what we do know.

So let me first talk about what a galaxy is.

And a galaxy is a family of stars, but usually in the hundreds of billions of stars.

We live in a galaxy called the Milky Way and there are about 500 billion stars, we think,

in the Milky Way Galaxy.

Galaxies are absolutely huge.

The Milky Way Galaxy is about 100,000 light-years across, and that's not really a number I

can get my mind around, seeing as one light-year is about six trillion miles, so our single

galaxy is 100,000-times-six-trillion miles across.

It's absolutely huge.

The best analogy I know is that if you think about the sun—the sun is a giant thing,

the sun is so big you can fit a million Earths inside it.

It's really, really big.

And if we made the sun the size of a dot of an "i", so pretend that the sun is only

the size of—like take a regular page of a book, look at the dot of an "i", if

the sun were that big, how big would our one Milky Way Galaxy be?

It would be about the size of the earth.

So that's how big a single galaxy is.

If the sun were the dot of an "i", the Milky Way galaxy would be roughly the size

of our planet.

Now how many galaxies do we know of?

And this is a wonderful result from the Hubble Space Telescope.

The Hubble Space Telescope decided to try to answer that question, and what it did is

it looked at an area of the sky that, as far as we knew, was blank, it was just black;

we couldn't see many stars there, we didn't see any galaxies there, and it decided to

take a very, very deep distant look at the universe.

Now, the way the Hubble Space Telescope (and any camera) works is it works kind of like

a "light bucket."

You can actually open up the eyes of the telescope and tell it to just keep staring, and the

longer it stares the fainter and more distant objects you can see.

For those of you that like photography, it's called doing a time exposure.

You leave your camera open for a certain amount of time and you can see fainter and fainter

things.

Well, incredibly, the Hubble Space Telescope kept its eyes open on this one little part

in the sky for more than a month, and it just let any light come and build up this beautiful

image, and what we discovered is that in this empty part of the sky—empty we say!—we

counted over 5000 galaxies.

Five thousand galaxies we didn't even know were there.

They were just so faint we'd never seen them before.

When we finally had a sensitive enough telescope up in space and we were able to keep it staring

at a tiny little part of the sky for a month 5000 galaxies turned out to be hiding there

that we'd never seen.

So, how much of the sky was this tiny little part that the Hubble Space Telescope looked

at?

So let's go back to the dot of an "i".

So think about the dot of an "i" in a book, and now hold of that book at arm's

length.

It's a tiny little point, you can almost barely see the dot of an "i" held at arm's

length.

That's how much of the sky the Hubble Space Telescope counted 5000 galaxies in.

And if you do the statistics, if you take that little dot in the sky, and by the way

we've done this, we've taken other deep images in different regions of the sky, and

we get about the same count of galaxies anywhere we look.

If you do the math, tiny little dot all over the sky, 5000 galaxies in each dot, there

are actually several trillion galaxies that we can see with the Hubble Space Telescope

if we had the time to observe the entire sky.

So we know that there are several trillion galaxies that the Hubble Space Telescope can

see, but is that really the number?

Is that how many galaxies there really are?

The universe we think is far larger than we're able to see right now.

So we're actually building telescopes that are so powerful—the James Webb Space Telescope

we hope will launch in the year 2020, and that will be so powerful it will be able to

see every single galaxy all the way back to the beginning of time.

So it will be able to see so far away that the light has taken 13 billion years to get

to us, and we should be able to see in any part of the sky every galaxy that's ever

formed in the history of the universe.

Is that the answer?

Is that how many galaxies there are?

Well, I ask you to consider there's something that astronomers call the observable universe.

And that is that if we take a telescope and we look in every direction around us, there

is in fact a limit to how far we can see.

And that's because the universe is not infinitely old.

We think the universe began about 13.8 billion years ago with the Big Bang.

So we can only see as far out as there's been time for light to get to us.

So we see in every direction in the sky out to a distance where we're looking back,

say, about 13 billion years, and that's wonderful, but does that mean that's how

big the universe is?

No.

The universe must be much larger than that, it's just that there hasn't been time

for light to get to us from the rest of the universe.

If the universe is around for another 20 billion years, we will see farther and farther and

farther out into the true universe.

We have no idea how big the universe really is.

We can only see the part of it where there's been time for light to travel to us.

The universe is not a sphere centered on us—that would be very, very strange.

That's just how far we can see in every direction since the beginning of time.

So what's the real answer?

How many galaxies are there?

And this gets to one of the most amazing things that we don't know and that is what is the

size of the universe.

For all we know the universe could be infinite.

It may be that the real answer is that there are infinite number of galaxies, space never

ends and there are galaxies throughout an infinite universe.

Or maybe the universe isn't infinite.

Maybe there really is some vast shape to it that we're not aware of yet.

Just like how we're standing on a spherical earth right now, but it seems flat to us because

we can only actually walk around a little part of it at once.

It could be that the universe has a larger shape and maybe it even has boundaries, maybe

there really is an answer to how big the universe is.

But in in the time the universe has existed there hasn't been time for light to travel

to us from the farthest reaches of the universe.

So right now we honestly have no idea how many galaxies there are.

Why The Jenners Can't Stand Kris Jenner - Duration: 4:16.

When Keeping up with the Kardashians premiered in 2007, it showcased the blended family created

by the union of Kris Kardashian and then-Bruce Jenner.

This included their two daughters together, Kendall and Kylie, as well as Kris' four kids

from her marriage to attorney Robert Kardashian: Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, and Rob.

But prior to her transition, Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce) fathered four other

children: Cassandra and Burt with first wife, actress Chrystie Crownover; and Brody and

Brandon Jenner with second wife, songwriter Linda Thompson.

After Caitlyn and Kris split in 2015, the truth came out about how Caitlyn's side of

the family felt about the famous matriarch.

This is why the Jenner clan can't stand Kris Jenner.

Brody lets it fly

Brody Jenner once spoke highly of his then-stepmom, Kris, telling the New York Daily News in 2013,

"Kris and I have had some very deep, long conversations, and we actually really got

to know each other, and so we're all good now."

But just two years later, Brody sang an entirely different tune on Sway in the Morning, saying,

"Honestly we never talk."

One year later, Page Six reported that Brody was overheard elaborating on the sentiment

at Coachella, saying ...

"They're not my f***ing family!"

… which he reportedly yelled at a fan who congratulated him on the success of the Kardashians.

Yikes!

Burt gets blunt

Of all Caitlyn's children, eldest son Burt has been the most outspoken against his one-time

stepmom.

In a since-deleted tweet, Burt railed against family members he claimed didn't support Caitlyn

before she went public with her transition.

A source told Radar Online that Burt's remarks were aimed at Kris and half-sister Kylie.

The insider added,

"Burt does his own thing and can't be controlled by anyone."

Burt also pulled no punches in a radio interview with racing show Dirt Authority, saying,

"The Kardashian world is not where I come from."

He also claimed that Keeping Up With The Kardashians was a destructive force in Jenner family relations.

Describing Kris' vision for the show as "the nail in the coffin" for his relationship with

Caitlyn, Burt told Vanity Fair,

"There was a you-aren't-part-of-this kind of thing.

Kris made the choice to make a good TV show that was in their image and brand."

The mother-in-law

Caitlyn's mother, Esther Jenner, ripped into Kris in a 2014 interview with the Daily Mail,

calling Kris a "controlling monster" and saying,

"She could insult you with a big smile on her face."

Next came accusations that Kris cheated on both Robert Kardashian and possibly Caitlyn;

that Kris constantly "badmouthed" Caitlyn's children from her first two marriages; and

that Kris manipulated Esther's cameo on the family's reality show.

It was a takedown tour de force all wrapped up neatly with Esther's sentiment:

"I hope she changes her name back to Kardashian, I don't want her to carry the name."

Hitting her where it hurts

According to Vanity Fair, Brandon Jenner threw some subtle shade at Kris when he strenuously

opposed Caitlyn's decision to use Keeping Up producers for her since-cancelled spin-off

reality show, I Am Cait.

Brandon said during a meeting with a prospective producer,

"You go on E!'s web site, the Bunim/Murray website, and you look at all the shows, every

one of them is a circus."

Considering Keeping Up is Kris' brainchild and cash cow, an attack on the show is certainly

an attack on Kris.

Slight shade

Perhaps the most media-shy of the Jenner clan, Brandon's older half-sis, Cassandra Marino,

opened up to People in a rare 2016 interview to address her essentially non-existent relationship

with her father.

She said,

"My relationship with Caitlyn is much better than with Bruce.

We didn't talk for years, and now we see each other every couple of weeks and talk."

It's safe to assume that if Cassandra wasn't talking to her dad, she probably wasn't palling

around with Kris either.

Speaking with People about Caitlyn and Kris' separation, Cassandra said of Caitlyn, pre-transition,

"He's really embraced his old family and friends that he hasn't seen for years."

NASA Actually Helped Save The World — Here's How - Duration: 4:45.

- [Narrator] The early 80s were a very different time.

Crazy hair, crazy clothes,

we didn't know we were headed toward a planet-wide disaster.

Oh yeah, that's right, we were headed towards

a planet-wide disaster.

And if nothing had been done about it,

this is what the world would have become in 2065.

Crops failing, livestock farming failing,

aquaculture failing, and cancer rates through the roof.

Step outdoors in Washington DC,

and you'll get a severe sunburn in five minutes.

Lucky for us, NASA had our backs.

NASA might be famous for exploring space,

but that's not its only job.

The agency studies Earth too.

They help track how our environment works,

and catch if something goes wrong.

And in 1985, things indeed had gone terribly wrong.

Teams of scientists

from NASA and the British Antarctic Survey

discovered a severely damaged section of Earth's ozone layer

over Antarctica.

Here's why that's a problem.

The ozone layer is a region in the stratosphere

that absorbs harmful UV light from the sun.

It's basically our planet's natural sunscreen.

And it had grown extremely thin over Antarctica.

So the ozone hole, as it became known,

was absorbing less UV light than normal.

In fact, from September through November of that year,

the ozone levels in the hole dropped by up to 67%.

That's like if you only used a third of the sunscreen

you were supposed to before going to the beach.

Thankfully, NASA had a pretty good idea

of what was happening.

For years prior, scientists had been sounding the alarm

on chemicals called chloro-fluoro carbons,

or CFCs for short.

They were common in products

like aerosol sprays and refrigerators,

and were chosen specifically

because they were non toxic to humans.

But scientists soon discovered that that just didn't matter

because these molecules were extremely toxic

to the ozone layer.

Turns out, when UV light hits a CFC molecule,

it releases a chlorine atom,

which basically goes on a killing spree to celebrate,

turning ozone molecules into oxygen,

which are basically worthless

when it comes to protecting your planet from UV radiation.

One chlorine atom, for instance,

can destroy over 100,000 ozone molecules

before it finally binds with another molecule

and becomes inert.

And the worst part is that chlorine atoms

are especially destructive to the ozone

in cold temperatures.

You know what else is cold?

Antarctica.

But if CFCs continued to go on unchecked,

cold regions wouldn't be the only casualty.

By 2020, 17% would be gone worldwide,

and a similar ozone hole would form over the Arctic.

By 2040, 70% would be gone.

By 2050, after the poles,

the tropics begin to lose their ozone layer completely.

And by 2065, we're doomed!

UV radiation levels on Earth's surface double,

which sparks all sorts of problems.

- If that UV were coming all the way to the surface,

we would get skin cancer,

we would have cataracts on our eyes,

animals would get cataracts, our crops would die.

So life on Earth as we know it,

and life for humans really wouldn't be possible.

It sounds like some kind of

a horrible Hollywood disaster movie, I think.

But yeah, we would have been in for,

I mean, it sounds very extreme, apocalyptic consequences,

but really, we might have been.

- [Narrator] Obviously, none of that happened.

That's because scientists across the world

banded together.

The Montreal Protocol was signed in 1987,

lowering production of harmful CFCs.

- The policy-makers listened to science,

they were informed by science,

and they made a great decision.

They said, we care, we're going to try

to come up with a treaty that solves these problems,

and it worked.

- [Narrator] By 1996, CFCs were banned completely

in developed countries.

Now there are signs that the ozone is recovering,

and could be completely healed by the end of the century.

So it looks like the world won't crumble by 2065 anymore.

Well, at least not from a depleted ozone layer.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Lionel Messi claim made - Ronaldo would not make this same mistake - Duration: 1:38.

That is the verdict of BBC Sport pundit and former Arsenal defender Martin Keown

Ronaldo and Messi have had differing starts to this year's World Cup in Russia. Ronaldo scored a stunning hat-trick in Portugal's first game; the 3-3 draw with Spain last Friday

Messi however could only help Argentina draw 1-1 with Iceland and missed a crucial second-half penalty

Cristiano Ronaldo made it four in two games when he opened the scoring against Morocco today

And while commentating on the game, Keown says Ronaldo is motivated to be the best and outdo Barcelona star Lionel Messi in the process

"He's like a machine isn't he," he said. "I think a lot of it fundamentally is he wants to be the best player in the world

"That Messi thing going on there, 'you score, I score', it really is. "Right at the start of this competition we saw Messi miss a penalty

"You wouldn't see Ronaldo miss one of them."

These Are The Kids From Jurassic Park Today - Duration: 3:37.

Director Steven Spielberg changed blockbuster cinema forever in 1993 when he released the

dinosaur-resurrecting epic Jurassic Park, which remains one of the most successful and

popular movies ever made.

The impressive cast included two unknown child actors playing the forever-traumatized grandchildren

of the park's creator, Jon Hammond.

Decades after becoming famous for running from raptors, and with the franchise still

roaring at five films and counting, where are they now?

Ariana Richards

Now here's something that'll make you feel super-old: as of the making of this video,

Ariana Richards is only one year younger than Jeff Goldblum was when he began filming Jurassic

Park with Richards in 1992.

Richards was 12 when she played Lex Murphy, a skilled young hacker … well, at least

by '90s cinematic standards …

"You got it?"

"Yes!"

Over the years, Richards shifted from acting to painting, which is now her main professional

focus.

Shortly after Jurassic Park's release, Richards sent Steven Spielberg a watercolor self-portrait

inspired by one of the scenes in the film.

The painting now hangs in Spielberg's office.

Along with her role as the pogo-stick-loving Mindy Sterngood in the 1990 cult hit Tremors,

Richards' most well-known on-screen appearances were in the Jurassic Park franchise.

In 1997, she briefly appeared in Jurassic Park sequel The Lost World, and followed that

cameo with handful of TV movies over the years.

In 2015, she told People,

"If some great role or project finds me, absolutely that could be a nice thing to do, for sure."

At the time of that interview, her latest TV movie was 2013's Battledogs, which was

produced by The Asylum, the team behind the Sharknado movies ... and she hasn't acted

since.

"Chew on this, mother!"

Richards did, however, make an appearance at the June 2018 premiere of Jurassic World:

Fallen Kingdom, where she reunited with her former co-star Jeff Goldblum.

Joseph Mazzello

Talk about friends in high places!

In a 2013 interview with People, Joseph Mazzello revealed that Steven Spielberg helped him

get into the University of Southern California by writing him a letter of recommendation.

Mazzello graduated with a degree in cinema and television, but has also acted steadily

since becoming famous in Jurassic Park for his role as the dino-loving Tim Murphy.

"Galluh- Gallimimus!"

His biggest post-Park roles include The Social Network, in which he played the Harvard student

who inspired Mark Zuckerberg to add relationship statuses to Facebook profiles, and a stint

in the HBO Emmy-winning miniseries, The Pacific.

In 2016, he made his directorial debut with the sports comedy-drama Undrafted, starring

Chace Crawford, Jim Belushi, and Mazzello himself.

The film is based on Mazzello's brother, a college baseball star who was scouted to play

in the majors, but ultimately didn't make the cut.

Mazzello will next appear as Queen's bass player John Deacon in Bryan Singer's Freddie

Mercury bio-pic Bohemian Rhapsody, which began filming in September 2017.

When filming wrapped in January 2018, he tweeted:

"I'm sad.

Every moment was a pleasure.

Every day was a blessing.

One of the all time great experiences of my life."

And that's saying a lot, considering his iconic role in one of the most celebrated motion

pictures ever made.

'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' | Unscripted Overtime | Fake Dinosaurs vs. Running and Screaming - Duration: 1:12.

- I've never heard you curse.

- No, you must have.

I do curse all the time.

- No you don't.

- I do. - When?

- I do.

I mean, I-- - Say (bleep) right now.

- (bleep)

(laughs)

(rock music)

- This is from Garrett B in Omaha, Nebraska.

Bryce, what is the hardest thing

for you to do on these movies:

react to dinosaurs that are not there

or all the running and screaming?

- Running and screaming.

Running and screaming because when you're reacting

to dinosaurs that is usually a kind of contained situation,

whereas running and screaming there's usually like,

you're, that's very physically intensive.

And usually running and screaming

also involves reacting to dinosaurs.

So I would say just from that alone kind of tips it toward

it's a little bit more challenging to run and scream.

- That's a good answer.

Paul Wall Recalls Some Very Real Advice Pimp C Gave Him From Prison | I Talked To Pimp C. - Duration: 3:23.

- PimpC was so unique.

You know, he definitely inspired

a whole generation and generations to come.

Every single time you see somebody like that

it's something where you just you remember it.

You capture it in your memory. You take it all in.

You soak it in and hope that you don't forget it.

I don't think I really remember a time where

I didn't know UGK.

It definitely was the first hip hop I heard

growing up in Texas.

PimpC was a real musical genius.

Not only in that his writing was so real.

The way he delivered his raps and the words he would say,

he was, you know, very country with it.

You know, he would sing on the songs.

In a time where it wasn't cool to really rap and sing

at the same time.

Before he went to jail, I didn't know who he was personally.

Like I was a fan of him, of course,

but I hadn't met him before.

I didn't have a friendship with him at all.

So, when he went to jail, I would write him a lot of letters

just telling him keep his head up.

Tell him how much we all miss him.

Tell him how much he inspired all of us.

You know, just tell him how much we holding it down for him,

we can't wait till he come home and those type of things.

Just, kinda, you know develop a pen pal friendship with him

while he was in jail.

I remember the first time I got a letter back it was like

ah man, this boy wrote me back and I remember thinking

like how can we how can we verify this, validate this, man?

How do I know somebody ain't, you know counterfeiting

writing a letter back to me or something, man.

Faking like they PimpC.

He actually kept it real on a lotta different levels

in the letter.

On the first letter, he told me, you know, watch out

for the females out there. Make sure I wear a rubber.

You know, watch out for the girls trying to might

try to give me a disease or might try to get pregnant by me.

They scandalous, this and that.

Fortunately, for myself at that time, that's you know,

that's me and my girl was already together.

So, I wasn't really doing nothing like that, no way.

So, it's always great to hear that encouragement

from big bro telling me, you know, Shady keep my,

keep stay strapped up.

You know, they ain't like that.

PimpC definitely kept real with me in them letters.

I kept in contact a lot with his mother, Momma West,

and his kids I would just do small things.

Just to ya know, help ease the pain of their father

being locked up or you know, her son being locked up.

It was just a private thing, you know, just something I felt

as a responsibility him being my hero.

One of my heroes and idols, I felt like, you know,

I would want somebody like that if I went to jail.

I would want somebody to do my children the same way.

Their dad's gone and I can only imagine my kids

if I was gone how they would feel.

I would want somebody to show them love.

And I would want them to know that, you know,

their dad inspired me.

I hope they know what he means to the world.

When he got out, we were at the "In love with a Stripper"

video shoot, for the remix.

And I remember, he was like, "Ya man, Paul Wall, you was on

that square shit writing me when I was in jail. On that

square shit writing me, but I got love for you though

cuz you was the only one who was writing me."

But, he kinda was like teasing me about writing him.

But, at the same time, you know, showing me love for it.

He's definitely letting me know that it was

much appreciated and he had a lotta love for me for that.

Being that he came from the generation, you know,

before the Instagram and Twitter generation, a lot of us

don't really know what he did.

I think if PimpC was still here, he'd be getting caked up

right now.

He'd definitely be getting his cake.

What it do, baby.

It's their boy, Paul Wall, baby, ay.

And I talked to PimpC.

Bernd Leno Will Arsenal's new signing take Petr Cech's No 1 shirt at Emirates ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 2:33.

Arsenal have completed the signing of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen - but will he take

Petr Cech's No 1 shirt?

The German side announced the transfer on their Twitter feed with Arsenal completing

their second signing of the summer.

They posted: "Bernd_Leno is joining Arsenal, effective immediately.

"Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication, Bernd!

We wish you all the best in this next phase of your career!"

And Arsenal have now also confirmed the deal as well posting a video of him catching various

things including Gunnersaurus with the caption: 'He's a keeper' and the hashtag #HeyLeno.

Leno is expected to become Arsenal new No.1 goalkeeper under Unai Emery, but will he also

take the No 1 shirt?

The club revealed on their website that his squad number will be announced shortly.

Leno wore No.1 at Leverkusen and was vice captain after seven years at the club.

Cech is the current occupier of the No 1 shirt at Arsenal while back up David Ospina wears

13.

Cech though could be on his way out of Arsenal with Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport

reporting he could be moved on after Leno's arrival.

Cech struggled at times last season in his third campaign at the Emirates.

And now aged 36 he is expected to be ousted as their first choice keeper.

So it could be left for Cech to decide if he wants to play second fiddle or move on

this summer.

Head coach Unai Emery said: "We are very pleased that Bernd Leno will be joining us.

Bernd is a goalkeeper of high quality and experience.

He has been a top performer and regular number one goalkeeper with Leverkusen in the Bundesliga

for the past seven years.

"We are all excited that Bernd has chosen Arsenal Football Club and look forward to

start working with him in pre-season."

Leno said: "After a fantastic seven years, I will now continue my career in another,

very exciting league."
