Youtube daily report Jun 4 2018

Here, in this fields is where we were more relaxed, there wasn't the obligation of a more serious game

It was here we used to play, do nutmegs

Marcelo loves dribbling, here was where he used to do that

Coming back here is very exciting

I was in the stands behind the goal

Marcelo scored a gol and pointed at me

It was very moving, I keep this image

it was in the newspaper, he pointing at the bleachers

with great affection, it was very moving

DOZE THE LIFE AND HISTORY OF MARCELO VIEIRA

EPISODE 9 FRIENDSHIP ABOVE ALL

I met Marcelo on Botafogo beach

That happened more than 15 years ago

I was carrying a ball like he always liked to be

I met him on Fluminense, on futsal

When we played together

I remember a lot of the first training

I played on Hebraica and he played on Helênico,

and we knew who the other was

and when the first train happened we already talked

"You used to play on Helênico" " you used to play on Hebraica"

and he started to play with the ball, he was always skillful

I saw it and I could not believe it "he plays very well"

at the time he played futsal on Fluminense with caio, his brother-in-law

I was hanging out with Caio and we met Marcelo, they already knew each other

there I was introduced to him

We were 13 years old and everything started there

I lived at Cosme Velho and he lived at Catete, Caio also lived at Catete

We played at Fluminense in Laranjeiras

The three of us always hang out, we were together in training, we went eating pizza sometimes

from the age of 13 to 18, when he went to Madrid

our stories here with Marcelo are the best

actually, we came here everyday days for years

It was very cool Marcelo has always been differentiated

Since when we were teenagers, one could tell

that he had an unusual ability

for people who played on his team was very nice because we almost did not lose

He liked to play as goalkeeper and fullback

Sometimes as a goalkeeper, he would catch the ball, dribble everybody and score a goal

When we were either losing the game or needing to tie, he would do that

this place would get crowded, there were 6, 7, 8 teams

and we got sometimes of 11, 12, 13, 14 wins in a row

We broke several records here.

and when we lost in one field, we would go to other field

We could move to another field, but we couldn't stop playing

Here, in this fields is where we were more relaxed, there wasn't the obligation of a more serious game

It was here we used to play, do nutmegs

Marcelo loves dribbling, here was where he used to do that

Coming back here is very exciting

We stayed here the all afternoon long, When we were on vacation, we stayed all day.

and when we had practice, we would stay here until 5:30 PM and go to practice right after, cause it started at 7 PM

We did that a lot.

It is something someone who really likes playing soccer would do

There was this one afternoon that we had already played for 3 hours

Marcelo was dribbling, a guy hit him and he fell

He hurt his chin

It started bleeding and he continued playing as if it was nothing

There was blood on the field and I told him "Marcelo you can't play like that"

He said "no, no i can keep playing" and I insisted he should go home

Nowadays he says that I did not want to help him go home, that I left him bleeding

It's a story that we remember and laugh until today. Each one of us has a version of it but mine is the one that counts

And to look at this place, brings back childhood memories

I wake up early while my wife is already giving breakfast to our daughter so I can take her to school.

which is this route we are taking now

So I leave her at school and then I go to our office

Me and my wife, we have a brand of men's clothing

I work with her until the time to go to practice

and then I come home real quick and get things done to go training

It's been 10, 11 years so it's all easier.

I already speak fluent Spanish, my wife has adapted to here

she is the one who can speak best

My daughter who is Spanish already speaks Spanish too

the beginning is always a little more complicated

the first months and the first year was a time for adaptation

It was much more difficult, to come very young, to come with the very new family.

We did not know how to speak the language, the culture is different.

it was a year of adaptation but then it was all easier

If you keep touching it, it's going to go out of place all the time.

Let's go! It is cold today

Let's go to school. Is it open?

Hi! Good morning.

Besides soccer, we used to hang out a lot here, at Botafogo, Laranjeiras, we had a lot of friends at the school he went

We used to go to Matinês, from 13 to 16 years old

Marcelo really likes music and he always liked to dance. So our group would go out to dance, to joke around

We also liked to go out to eat at restaurants

We would go eat pizza.

Nowadays, when you invite Marcelo to go eat pizza his reply will be "Yeah! Let's go!"

he remembers much of that time. Until today when he comes to visit Brazil ..

We always end up doing something similar to things we used to do back then, we have very good memories

That's it dad!

The times that I had the opportunity to go Madrid visit Marcelo

being with him in his daily life

to watch the practices and the games

It was very exciting

There was this one time

in 2011

In a Champions League round-of-16, Real Madrid versus Lyon at Santiago Bernabéu

I was in the stands behind the goal

Marcelo scored a goal and pointed at me

It was very moving, I keep this image

It was in the newspaper, a picture of him pointing at the stand

with great affection, it was very moving

And now recently on his birthday

In May I went there again, he did not know I was going, it was a surprise Clarice had prepared

and that's a funny story

Me and Leo were hiding in his trunk.

And he thought it was the teqball table

And when he opened the truck and saw us

There is video of that, Clarice recorded

he was shocked

So the first time I went to Madrid with Marcelo

he took me to take a tour

before the game

I said "man what am I doing here", there was already several pictures of him

Titles he won, cause the fist time I went there was in 2010

he was already there for 3 or 4 years

Already established, I said "Holy shit!"

"He is there", for me it was...

It was very amazing

When I saw the first game, to see him playing...

We were with the family, in the best place of the stadium

I don't recall if he won or if he lost, but...

It was exciting, at Bernabéu a stadium we saw at videogames, and talked about

And a friend of mine playing there, playing soccer, the thing we like the best

It was amazing

Yeah, we started the Campus project last summer

We always wanted to create something related to kids

Since we were young, we looked for that in Rio and it was very hard to find

And when we had the opportunity to create this project here

We were very excited and went for it

We can't be there everyday, because we have to practice, play and travel a lot

So it is necessary to have a team working on the project

A team that works well, after all it reflects on us

From the moment we have confidence in this team

With our working group that are 9 teacher and 2 more people, which are the communication director and general manager

And when we reunited that work team we created the project

And now there is also the school, which works all year long

Campus is only on summer

We do our best to be there when we can, but we know it is hard, because of practice and the games

But when we can we are there keeping up with it, playing with the kids and having lots of fun

I'm gonna do a nutmeg

He always keeps up with my games, knows how I am playing in the season

Whenever I can accompany him in the games, I try to travel when it is Champions League game

Nowadays is harder because of our calendar and practices

But whenever we can we accompany each other I remember ...

I remember the first we got to Madrid I signed the contract with Móstoles, which is known here

And he was excited to watch my first game there

He went to see it with my sister, some other friends and I remember Pepe also went with his wife

who was the closest player with Marcelo back then

So, he went to see the game, and unnoticed, like a regular person going to watch a futsal game

He was wearing a cap, a jacket and ... unnoticed

He enjoyed the game, he loves futsal

We play since we were kids, he always keeps up with it

And a lot has changed, because he wants to accompany but it's not the same thing

Nowadays is harder, cause everywhere he goes people know who he is

I remember the last game he went to see was when I was playing in Zaragoza and it was crazy

He arrived there and people want to take pictures so he can't enjoy the game as he did before

He now watches it on tv, he knows everything that happens, the results and the season

Cyberpunk Board Games - Duration: 10:39.

Greetings, Earthlings! Welcome to the Madqueen Show.

I am your host the MadQueen

On today's menu, we have a new video for you, and today we are going to talk about

Cyberpunk tabletop games

There are many, they are fun, and you're going to love them

And maybe they can help you to calm your Cyberpunk 2077 hype for a little bit, because it seems

we'll have to wait a little more to have it

You'll find in the description all the links

In this video we're not going to talk about pen and paper roleplaying games

Only tabletop

Let's roll the dice

Shadowrun: Crossfire is a cooperative deck-building

card game for two to four players set in the gritty, cyberpunk fantasy world of Shadowrun,

that mixes the Cyberpunk setting you know and love with a medieval fantasy setting,

like The Lord of the Rings but in the future

In this game, you play a shadowrunner team and take on tough jobs such as protecting

a client who's marked for death, shooting your way out or even facing down a dragon

Yes, a dragon

In each game, you'll improve your deck with a mix of strategies, while earning Karma,

which is the in-game currency

This Karma gives your character cyber upgrades, physical augmentations, magical initiations,

weapons training and much more

Many of you love the Shadowrun universe, so you're going to love this board game

Released in 2014, a reprint of this game is planned under the name of Shadowrun Crossfire:

Prime Runner, and it is expected to see the light in July of this year.

Crossfire is not the only Shadowrun tabletop

game you can find, as Shadowrun: Sprawl Ops is in development

July 20th is the last day you can contribute to the Kickstarter of this new board game

set in the Shadowrun universe, published by Catalyst Games

In this game, the players lead a team of shadowrunners guns blazing, ready to get the big score

While doing so, the players will have the chance to hire more seasoned runners, outfit

their team with cutting-edge technology: from the latest weapons to cyberware enhancements,

and take on increasingly dangerous contracts on the mean streets of the Seattle Metroplex

Mecanisburgo is a 2 to 6 player science-fiction

themed game that lasts around 2 hours

It is set in an alternate present in which all the predictions of classic sci-fi have

turned true, but instead of playing as a low life, in here, you are in control of the megacorporations

Mecanisburgo is the megalopolis capital of the world, where the struggles of the biggest

corporations take place

Players control these different corporations, each with different special abilities

Braindance the Experience

Welcome to a world of wonder and excitement

the most advanced neurocoordinators

the most exciting braindance recordings

the best escape you've ever experienced

Only im Playland at the Sea Pacifica, Nigth City

Braindance the Experience

Essentially each player is one of 6 Megacorporations in a sprawling post-robot revolution metropolis

crawling with robots, cyber-ninjas, mutants, and assassins

All the good stuff

The game can be quite intimidating at first, but once you understand the mechanics, it's a blast…

Bozo style

Zaibatsu is a word that I use a lot when I

talk about the megacorporation Arasaka, because means a large Japanese business conglomerate,

so you can guess what the game is going to be about

Players represent rival supercorporations, who struggle to obtain the domain and control

of the global network of information, Cybernet

For this reason, we will use a large number of agents and mercenaries to achieve our targets

Zaibatsu is a print-and-play cyberpunk-themed game, free to play under creative commons

license and each player in a game can move pawns, attack the pawns controlled by other

players, put new hexagonal blocks to expand the modular board or gain control of the existing

blocks to dominate the board and win the game

There are two versions available of the game, Zaibatsu Speedrunners for 2 to 4 players and

Zaibatsu Shadowraiders, for 1 to 4

You can merge both games to make a board for 8 players

This game created by Froyan Creativo, this is a damn good option if you are on a budget

Heavily inspired in Cyberpunk 2020 RPG, in

Human Interface you will lead a team of selected professionals of a given faction

Each of them has unique skills and abilities, each one can be given weapons and other equipment,

be enhanced genetically or cybernetically

All characteristics and modifiers are presented on special character and equipment cards

The player can purchase additional equipment to replace the current item depending on the

"group's assets"

You may like your heroes or hate them but they will no longer be just anonymous pawns

Post Industrial Games are preparing a supplement to this game called Human Interface: Be a

Better Human with new complex rules and new stories

The release date is set in September of this year

You can be sure we will be ready for it!

Because this game looks Amazing

Android, and please don't confuse this game

with Android: Netrunner, is a board game published in 2008 that talks about murder and conspiracy

in a cyberpunk dystopian future

no surprises here

Detectives travel between the city of New Angeles and the moon colony Heinlein chasing

down leads, calling in favors, and uncovering the sinister conspiracy beneath it all

The detectives must balance their pursuit of the murderer against their personal lives

and their inner demons

Android's innovative mechanics ensure that no two detectives play alike

Will you play as Louis Blaine, the crooked cop tormented by guilt and loss?

Or will you take the role of Caprice Nisei, the psychic clone who struggles to retain

her sanity while proving that she's as human as anyone else?

It doesn't matter who you choose to play, you have just two weeks to solve the murder,

uncover the conspiracy, and face your personal demons

Android: Netrunner is an asymmetrical Living

Card Game for two players, meaning each player uses a different set of cards

Set in the cyberpunk 2020 role-playing game created by Mike Pondsmith that we all know and love

The game pits a megacorporation and its massive resources against the subversive talents of

lone runners

Corporations seek to score agendas by advancing them

Doing so takes time and credits

To buy the time and earn the credits they, they must secure their servers and data

forts with Intrusive Countermeasures Electronics, also known as ICE

These security programs come in different varieties, from simple barriers to code gates

and aggressive sentries

They serve as the corporation's virtual eyes, ears, and machine guns on the sprawling information

superhighways of the net

This game is based on the original collectible card game Netrunner, which was released in

1996 and designed by Richard Garfield

You may remember him as the creator of Magic: The Gathering

And I think that's a pretty good list

What other physical games set in a Cyberpunk future have you played?

Brazilian press give promising update on Liverpool's pursuit of Alisson - Duration: 3:03.

Brazilian press give promising update on Liverpool's pursuit of Alisson

Liverpools pursuit of Roma goalkeeper Alisson has taken an encouraging turn, with the club reported to have held talks with his representatives.

Speculation over a move for Alisson has intensified following Loris Karius disastrous showing in the Champions League final.

The Brazilian was already believed to be a target for Jurgen Klopp this summer, but he was previously claimed to be willing to persevere with Karius if the Reds were priced out of a deal.

However, with Karius committing two drastic errors in Kyiv the manager may have shifted his priorities.

According to Brazilian outlet UOL, Liverpool met with Alissons representatives before he turned out for his national team in Sundays 2-0 friendly win over Croatia at Anfield.

The 25-year-old is claimed to have given consent for the meeting as he is pushing for a move away from Italy, with Roma valuing their keeper at €70 million (£61.

3 million).

His intention is to ensure clarity over his future before the World Cup, with Brazil set to take on Austria in their final warmup friendly in Leopoldstadt on June 10, before their opening clash of the tournament against Switzerland on June 17.

Alisson is likely to start as No.

1 in Russia, ahead of Man City stopper Ederson, and played the full 90 minutes in the weekends victory.

Interestingly, UOL add that Tites squad were given a day off around Liverpool after Saturdays win, which may have provided further opportunity to discuss a deal.

The Reds have already sealed the signing of Alissons compatriot, Fabinho, while Naby Keita is due to arrive from RB Leipzig on July 1 and Lyons Nabil Fekir is another priority target.

TOM FENYOE: So after graduating high school,

I went to the military for 25 years.

Upon retiring, I was a little skeptical

as to what the civilian workforce would be like.

I was pleasantly surprised because I

came to a team that had as much esprit de corps and camaraderie

as I experienced in the military, if not more.

Diversity and inclusion is very important to Sutter Health.

Since coming here, it's evident to me

that they're looking for the best and the brightest

across the broadest landscape, people

that can enhance what's already an amazing system

and reflect the community that we serve.

The thing that makes me most proud

of being part of Sutter Health is service, just serving

Netflix Makes THIS DESPERATE Move to Snag 'Roseanne' Viewers - Duration: 2:02.

Netflix Makes THIS DESPERATE Move to Snag 'Roseanne' Viewers.

Progressive Netflix doesn't particularly LIKE the average "Roseanne" viewer, but

they do want your business.

The online streaming giant who recently added projects by disgraced liar Susan Rice and

#SpyGate superstar Barack Obama, is now touting their so-called "blue collar" reboot,

in hopes of enticing former "Roseanne" viewers.

Netflix is promoting the revived "One Day at a Time" sitcom as a viable alternative

to Roseanne's "America First" reboot.

Sure, Netflix, we believe you…..

Especially the part where you say the "working class family" tackles social issues in an

"innovative" way.

From Bizpacreview.com

With actor Tim Allen's canceled hit TV series "Last Man Standing" being picked up by

Fox after ABC dropped the show known for its conservative commentary, rumors have been

floated online that "Roseanne" may also move to Fox.

Meanwhile, Netflix is not being shy about going after "Roseanne" viewers, plugging

their own working class family show, "One Day At A Time," as an alternative.

Reminder: @OneDayAtATime is a sitcom about a tight-knit, working class family that tackles

extremely topical social issues in a smart and innovative way.

Ya know, if you're suddenly looking for a show like that…

With the recent announcement Netflix signed Barack and Michelle Obama to a multi-year

deal, it's safe to say the entertainment company's not likely to be in the running

to pick up "Roseanne."

The reboot was dropped by ABC after actress Roseanne posted an ill-advised tweet comparing

Obama royalty member Valerie Jarrrett to a character in the "Planet of the Apes."

What do you think about this?

Loris Karius undergoes scan following Liverpool's concussion fears - Duration: 2:42.

Loris Karius undergoes scan following Liverpool's concussion fears

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has undergone a head scan due to the clubs fears he suffered a concussion during the Champions League final.

Karius has come under major scrutiny after his errors saw the Reds suffer a 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in Kyiv, handing the Spanish side two goals.

The first came when he rolled the ball too close to Karim Benzema, with the striker opening the scoring with an opportunistic effort, before fumbling Gareth Bales long-range shot late on.

Shortly before Benzemas goal, however, Karius was left sprawled in the box following a collision with Real defender Sergio Ramos.

Ramos appeared to have deliberately elbowed the stopper in the side of the head during a Real corner, with Karius appeals falling on deaf ears.

The officials lack of concern was mirrored by UEFA, who declined to investigate both that issue and Ramos challenge that left Mohamed Salah unable to play down due to a shoulder injury.

Now, ESPNs Mark Ogden reports that Karius was ordered to undergo a scan to determine whether he had experienced head trauma, with Liverpool concerned he had a concussion.

Crucially it is stressed that this was at the club and FSGs behest, with Karius travelling to Boston on May 31 to visit a specialist, before a planned break in California.

The result are unclear, and it may seem a convenient development given the level of criticism aimed at the German, but it is not unfeasible he was concussed.

Ogden adds that Karius is due to join up with the Liverpool squad for pre-season training on July 2.

Entremundos | Interview on I Mostri (subtitles/Untertitel) - Duration: 8:23.

My name is Giuseppe Sciandrone

I'm Entremundos' guitarist

I met Francesco when I was 15

He'd just moved to Mannheim

At the time I played guitar in a protestant church

We instantly shared a common musical feeling

We spoke about music

About his album he'd recorded with Carpineta in 1978, if I'm right

I'm Josephine, the singer of Entremundos

And together with Giò Maltese I created the script of the video ‚I Mostri'

When I met Francesco Maria teresa for the 1st time

We went to a village in Calabria

He took us to an agricultural restaurant

We dined very well, of course, and had wine

We spoke about everything. About the world, about life.

I'm Giò Maltese

I was the co-director of the interpretation of ‚I Mostri'

Together with Josephine I wrote the sript of the film

I was 15 when I got to know Francesco, just like Giuseppe

We instantly discovered an extraordinary affinity with each other

Coming from different things

I was currently reading Nietzsche, Michel Foucault, Antonio Gramsci

And then I meet this Francesco Maria Teresa

Who was an incredible inspiration for me – regarding a variety of issues, I then dealt with

Our mutual interests ranged from Music

To the question on the fight for political emacipation and social equity

Well, I was in an emotional state I've never had before

I felt profound respect and affection for a person I'd just met

Francesco was an attentive listener

He always had a sound advice for every situation

There were no age barriers

So a kind of poetic dialog bettween us evolved

Which is also reflected within his books

In the poetry collections 'Cose Mie', 'Disturbi Del Cuore' and 'Noli Me Tangere'

You can find poems, he dedicated to me, because

They are a replica to the poems I've written

Most of them were poems, which, in turn, were replies to some of his texts or evenings we spent togehter

Evenings we spent with lots of food and wine

With heated debates about issues, that were concerning us

They'd told me before

That he made you feel like someone special

And I felt special

In 2005 he also wrote the poem 'Stagioni Di Pace'

Which can be found in this book, too

We traduced it into English with the band 'Sunburst'

This is also cited in the cover of this book

This traduced song, this poem, is called 'Seasons'

In ‚Cose Mie' Francesco writes:

For Giò Maltese, Dear friend of youthful energies

Of countless sung evenings and illusions

Again I guide you through my galleries and describe my via crucis to you, my stations

From my point of view Francesco Maria Teresa had a very exotic appearance

From my point of view Francesco Maria Teresa had a very exotic appearance

Because he was an incomparable individual

And when he spoke... I only understand Italian a little bit

But when he spoke, his voice had a hypnotic colour

His rhythm and intonation

I sat there with my mouth open

Listening like... I don't know, like a little child

Then there was a poem, which I'd written in the Philippines

It's titled ‚Jenny Anne'

This is the poem, which also finds a response in ‚I Mostri'

Here it says:

Swear, that they will never leave me But haunt me

If one day I'll be far, away from you

When the distance will seperate you from me

When I complain intoxicated by pride

About things I want And about the things I don't have

On the other side of your unjust world

In my condemned paradise Honey and money flowing there

When your dull image fades and vanishes

Your hand, digging in the garbage, not finding anything

Your body searching for food

Like a rat in the dark.

Swear, that they'll disturb me

That they'll thread and torture me

When I get lost in abundance

Your deep dark eyes, black as night

With my current band Entremundos, in which my girlfriend Josephine sings

We asked ourselves how to realize I Mostri musically, in Italian

We had the idea that I sing it, as a rap

In co-operation with The Mindpalace

With a friend who's a producer. Dennis Jenne

It all began with the idea of a riff, which Carlos Bauer da Silva played. He's also a guitarist in our band

This way the idea of how to realize I Mostri musically was originated

Francesco knew about the realization of the song. I told him in an e-mail about it

For me it was important to mainly apply the e-bass

He also played bass in the band 'Carpineta'

Francesco played an Fender Jazz bass, if I'm right

In this song the bass is in contrast to the strings

This represents the fight between good and evil

I've got the sensation, that art, music and poetry

Flew through his veins, in spite of blood

Francesco knew about the project ‚I Mostri'

That we wanted to realize it musically and make the music video

Then, when he'd passed away

We didn't know, if we should continue with the project

During the video shoot of ‚I Mostri' we felt his intense presence

All the time

And the previously named qualities

Well, we felt them

And together with the memory of him

They motivated us

Like the motor of the whole shoot

Everyone had this sensation

For me it was important, to add his words in ‚I Mostri' as a part of the song

With Francesco Aronne's support

Who also helped me, to find the interview, in which Tarantino speaks

I think it was the last interview he gave in Calabria

Well, I hope, that his art continues flowing

Through our lives and our music

For me Francesco will remain

An indescribable person

The memory of this person is of priceless value

How I Style Faux Locs | 9 Quick Hairstyles - Duration: 5:40.

hi everyone and welcome back to my channel so for those of you who are new

here first of all, just gotta go ahead and press the subscribe button below and

also activate the notification bell so that you can get notifications and never miss any one

of my videos. So if you're here for the very first time, welcome, to those of you

who've been around with me and patient, thank you so much. I wanted to shoot this

video today because as you guys can see I finally got faux locs done, something that

I've been wanting to do for like years, I just always was like looking for like the

perfect kind of loc because I really wanted it to look as real as possible

and so yeah finally I got them done, it's been like 3 months

now so they're getting a little old and as you can see from like my edges and my

new growth and it's about time I take them out. So yeah, but before I take them

out my hubby suggested I do a video sharing with you guys a couple of

hairstyles because you guys do like these so I hope you find this video helpful. I

hope you enjoy it and don't forget to let me know which one of my hairstyles is

your favorite and if you do attempt any of them please do tag me on my Instagram

because that would make me really happy by the way this is gonna be, I think

the third or the fourth video of the series.

I do have a couple of videos on how I style box braids, which you guys really loved so

if you guys are interested in those, links will be down below or the cards

will appear somewhere on your screen. Either way you'll be able to see

those videos if you enjoy them so yeah let's get started without further ado.

Thank you guys. Alright guys, so for hairstyle number one

I'm just gonna go and start by parting my locs down in the middle and

basically, I'm just gonna flat twist my hair around the crown area, so I'm

grabbing a couple of locs at a time and I'm just flat twisting as you can see,

down the crown of my head. And I'm doing this first on this side and then

spinning or twisting it a little bit more, and then I'm just gonna go ahead

and pin that in place and I'm doing the same on the other side, grabbing a couple

of locs, flat twisting and pinning. And this is super simple it's like the go-to

bohemian hairstyle, I love it, it's nice you know, it's funky and gets the job

done so that's it. And basically the second hairstyle is building from the

previous one. What I'm doing is I'm just grabbing a bit more hair twisting it

around as well, and then kind of adding more sections as I go down and securing.

And once I figure out how much hair I want, I'm just gonna go ahead and tie my

hair together to kind of just secure it in a low ponytail. So yeah it just

gives this kind of little weird style but it's a nice low do and I like that.

It's a nice low ponytail with a bit of a twist. So third hairstyle, I'm creating a

deep part on the side. You can choose whichever is your best profile and so

I'm going down and I'm flat twisting a bit and I'm pinning it as always. Flat

twisting is going to be key, you'll notice... flat twisting and pinning. And

I'm doing that a bit more for the second and I'm going and pinning it as

well so it's a simple nice asymmetric hairstyle that I really like. And now I'm

moving on to my fourth hairstyle and which is again gonna be building from

the previous hairstyle and in this I'm featuring my AbaRings, they're the

ones that I'm using in my hair I'll give you links about it but I bought it here

in Senegal. So basically what I'm doing is playing

with this side that was down and I'm basically kind of, I don't even know how

to call what I'm doing you know, I'm just twisting a bit more, almost as if it

was a fishtail braid until I get down and it's basically just it you know.

Just kind of creating a bit of a texture on this side and with the loc jewelry,

it looks really good. So now that I've taken down this part

what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna recreate the same flat twist for this fifth

hairstyle on the sides as I have on the other side so it's gonna be symmetric

now, and I'm gonna put all my hair to the front to create this rolled-up bun that

I really like, kind of gives that snail effect but I just, I just love these

rolled buns. It's not for everybody I know not everybody likes it but I really

do so I'm moving on to my sixth hairstyle. Taking down hair again, parting in the

middle and leaving a bit of hair to the side, I'm gonna create a half up

half down hairstyle and I'm twisting, you know, a loc to secure it and create like

kind of a ponytail and this is how you have a half high up half up half down,

you know, high ponytail and now I can build from this previous hairstyle as well. And

what I like to do is just like lock, you know, take the two sections and just

twist them around and create that same kind of bun that I had in the front

earlier so it's just basically using the same techniques over and over to create

these new hairstyles. So that was that and now we're gonna move on to the next

hairstyle and this is basically building on from the previous one as well the

sections that were on the side, I'm just taking them together and just twisting them, you

know, like kind of just rolling and twisting them and then just securing

them around the bun that I just had. So it gives kind of this nice little edgy

look I don't know I love these you guys and excuse my edges they're a hot mess

but again these locs are three months old so yeah. So this eighth

hairstyle is basically just creating bantu knots, I'm sorry I didn't film

the first one but I kinda love how this bantu knot looks with the, you

know, my loc jewelry and again, they're from a AbaRings and she's here in

Senegal and I think also in Ivory Coast but yeah so I'm basically just Bantu

knotting all around my crown area so I'm gonna have like five huge Bantu knots

this is now the end of the hairstyle. I have five huge bantu knots, it's not for

everybody but I think I look like the Statue of Liberty or like this, you know,

some black goddess but anyways yeah love this hairstyle, I don't know I love it.

And now this final hairstyle is a bonus and it's gonna go back a bit to the

whole bohemian chic kinda look, I'm grabbing a section up here that I'm

twisting and basically this hair is from this part near your ear right, so

you're gonna take it up and put it underneath your hair and just have it

come all the way to the front through the middle, like it makes sense on video

but I'm doing it on both sides and you had kind of a Fulani inspired hair

style and with the loc jewelry it looks popping! So that's it you guys, I hope

you've enjoyed all of these looks let me know which one was your favorite. I love

you all, bye. Don't forget to subscribe

Do You Want to Hear Jesus Clearly? - Duration: 10:40.

Do You Want to Hear Jesus Clearly?

June 4, 2018

Thank you, Lord, for opening our eyes to the things that stand in the way of closeness

to You.

Please grant us the grace to want You with all our hearts and souls, even enough to set

our desires aside to have only You.

Amen.

Dear ones, if Jesus isn't speaking clearly to you, or you feel far away from Him, I highly

recommend that you do an assessment of your obedience to His known—or, I would even

say 'suspected' will.

For instance those little prompts…

"Don't buy that, don't eat that, help her, call them now, pray for them, be honest,

don't take any shortcuts or breaks.

etc., etc."

What I mean are those little corrections you get throughout the day that go against your

preferences or will.

If we are serious about serving Him, it comes with a cost: the cost of everything you like

and everything you don't like.

We cannot afford to have any preferences or attachments.

For instance, in this most recent correction of direction the Lord gave me, He wanted me

to answer correspondence.

Even though the Internet was down, I found a work-around and worked with the Comments—because

that is so much easier than writing letters—right?.

But at the end of the night, I didn't feel the Lord's pleasure with me.

In fact, I felt Him standing a-ways off.

So, when I awoke this morning, I sought Him on why I was feeling distant… and He brought

up that 10" stack of mail in my inbox.

And I have had to make a bigger box to fit it all in there...

So, I knew immediately that I had let Him down by not plowing into that pile.

Especially because the Internet was down—it seemed most logical to work on letters...right?!

But I find a work-around and get to Comments...

Well.

But going through that pile was much more work than answering Comments.

And very daunting to look at, I might add.

So, I moved towards the easier way—my own preferences—and I did not make Him happy.

You see, the Lord is very clear about who He will show Himself to:

John 14:21 Whoever has My commandments and observes them is the one who loves Me.

And whoever loves Me will be loved by My Father and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.

Oh, what a beautiful, beautiful promise that is!

So, if we are not hearing clearly from the Lord, or sensing He is not near, or sensing

any kind of void where He should be present—we don't have to look far.

The bottom line is, how obedient have you been to the known will, His likes and dislikes?

If you have been resisting Him because of your attachments, your wants, your passions

or self-will, that might be the very reason He is not revealing Himself to you so fully.

So, this morning I was feeling blocked, so I prayed the Binding prayer—and I still

felt blocked.

Then I heard a still small voice inside of me saying, "When you take care of what is

most important to Me, I will be with you again, in prayer and music."

In other words, do it the hard way.

Answer the letters that require mailing, dive in and get caught up.

"Then, I just might surprise you with a fresh new anointing to finish your song and

feel so very close to Me in prayer and worship."

Now, that doesn't mean that He's going to send you an angel to tell you what to do!

No, what that means is that you have intuition about what would please Him the most.

Even though it's maybe not your favorite thing to do.

So you put down your attachment and liking to fulfill His attachments and His likings.

Then that rough road full of ruts and rocks all of a sudden becomes a well-graded highway,

and everything starts to flow again, because you have found His peace in the center of

His will for your life and the good of others.

Then Jesus began to speak to me, "My precious family of Heartdwellers.

Indeed I love to dwell with you in your hearts.

And those who do not yet understand what that is, it is the prayer of worship and delight

you take in My presence.

"And how do you arrive there?

By letting go of the World, your opinion about yourself, and longing for Me deeply in your

heart.

I do not disappoint good wills.

And Clare gave you a precious piece of advice today when she said that, basically, Obedience

is the way to My Heart and the Revelation of My Being.

"I long to reveal Myself to all of you, but some of you are not quite ready.

You are still hanging on to the pleasures of the World.

You're still resisting me in things I've asked you to do.

And Clare struggles with this, as well.

But when you resolve in your will that nothing is more important to you than Me, that's

when I will be able to change your heart.

"Ask for this, 'Lord, change my heart, so that You are the only thing important to me.'

"This does not come overnight.

For most, it is a journey of letting go of the World and embracing what you think will

please Me.

It's a matter of deep integrity.

To integrate your values as a Christian into your whole life, with no corners of darkness

where the devils may exploit you.

"It is when you give permission to the little things, against what you imagine My will to

be for you, that the enemy gets a toe-hold inside the door to your heart.

When the door is barred, he cannot even begin to gain entrance into your heart—so he works

on you.

Playing you.

Feeding you permissions to do what I would not have you do.

Even as Satan did in the Garden, as he lied, "Surely you will not die if you eat of this

fruit."

Yes, he talked Eve into doing what she knew was wrong—and look at what it cost them.

"You do not see the monster trying to enter your heart.

Rather, it looks more like a tiny mouse, the issue is so small.

But understand it can become big and overwhelming in very little time.

Just like a tiny match in the forest can destroy thousands of acres, so can a tiny compromise

do the same.

"I am repeating Myself, because I long to have intimate fellowship with you all, and

it hurts My heart just as much as it hurts yours when we are not communing together.

"Oh, how I miss you, My precious ones!

This is why obedience to the 'little' things is so important.

It takes you from one rung on the ladder to the next and the next and the next.

And pretty soon, you are in My arms and we are having that sweet time of fellowship we

have both longed for.

"You see, man in his Pride does not like to obey.

He seeks independence, self-sufficiency, doing it his own way, his own prowess and devices.

Making his own decisions.

But in My world, it is the little ones who seek dependence on Me.

Trusting me, they find completeness in Me, and leave the prowess up to Me in dealing

with the World and the devil.

It is the worshipful heart that stirs Me to pity and longing for you.

"Is it not difficult to worship when you know you have transgressed or neglected My

invitations?

"I do not expect you to be perfect; just long to be perfect for Me.

This moves My heart.

Selfishness pushes Me away and I must take you through a series of lessons to learn how

important selflessness is.

You must meet yourself at rock bottom and discover how very vulnerable you are before

you are totally willing to allow Me to be your everything, your provider, your all-in-all.

And work with all your strength to resist the temptations and allurements of the World.

And to work with all your strength, to do the things that I have asked you to do.

That I hint at you to do.

Things that you don't want to do, because of a hurtful past or difficulty in your environment.

Things you just don't want to do, but yet you know deep down inside I want you to do

them.

"Cleave to Me, My precious ones.

Cry out in temptation and run from every occasion of sin.

Beg me to remove that stubborn self-will that stands in the way of you doing what you know

I really do want you to do.

"And if you fall, return to Me with a docile and repentant heart and I shall restore you.

"But the greatest blessing of all is the sweet fellowship we will have, because you

have chosen Me over all else in the World.

Even over yourself.

Remember: this is a journey, and I am committed to you all the way through to the end.

Be committed to Me as well and I will fulfill those empty and aching places within you with

My sweet presence."

Just Like Me except I put Happy Just Like Me over it - Duration: 0:34.

I'm gonna do parody lyrics here lol

Oh, I'm Lightbulb and they're all just like me!

We're intertwined so seamlessly!

9 of a kind,

We live cheerfully!

This alternate reality fills me up with glee!

We're not stressed,

We're satisfied (Lightbulb says as she makes a worried face)

We're having a blast,

And we're smiling fine!

Be positive,

And you'll be carefree! (Carefree enough to almost murder your friend)

Then you'll be happy

Just like me!

And me!

If you want to be happy,

Just act like me!

Sara Gilbert on 'Roseanne' Cancellation: 'I Stand Behind the Decision' - Duration: 7:42.

Sara Gilbert on 'Roseanne' Cancellation: 'I Stand Behind the Decision'

Gilbert played one of Roseanne Barrs daughters on the show, Darlene, and also served as an executive producer on the highly rated reboot.

ABC announced Roseanne was canceled last Tuesday, after Barr posted a racist tweet towards Barack Obamas former White House adviser, Valerie Jarrett, reading, Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj.

Barr has since apologized to Jarrett, who is black and born in Iran, and blamed the remark on tweeting under the influence of prescription sleep aid Ambien.

On Monday, Gilbert, a co-host on The Talk, said she stands by ABCs decision.

Julie Chen read Gilberts original statement condemning Barrs tweet as the audience applauded.

In addition to my statement, I would like to say that this has been a very difficult week, Gilbert said.

A lot of people have been hurt by this.

I will say I am proud of the show we made.

The show has always been about love, diversity and inclusion and it's sad to see it end in this way.

I am sad for the people who lost their jobs in the process. However, I do stand behind the decision that ABC made..

Gilberts co-host, Sheryl Underwood, also praised her.

Im really glad to hear you say that because as a black woman who is a comedian, Im very, very proud of Channing Dungey, the president of ABC Entertainment, and as Spike Lee says, a lot of people came together to do the right thing and Im happy to see that it was done swiftly.

Canceling the show so quickly sent a strong message and the right message, thats for sure, Chen added.

Gilbert, 43, previously commented on Barrs racist tweet, before ABCs official announcement that the show had been canceled.

Roseanne's recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show, Gilbert tweeted last Tuesday.

I am disappointed in her actions to say the least..

This is incredibly sad and difficult for all of us, as we've created a show that we believe in, are proud of, and that audiences love — one that is separate and apart from the opinions and words of one cast member, she continued.

Barr responded to Gilberts tweet, writing, Wow! unreal. Later, she said she forgives both Gilbert andRoseanne star Michael Fishman -- who played her onscreen son, D.J. -- who also condemned Barrs tweet.

To michael fishman and sara gilbert: I forgive u both, love u both, just wish u could have called me personally 2 talk rather than do it in a public arena, she wrote.

I understand, tho. Its ok..

Meanwhile, 65-year-old Barr praised her former co-stars Laurie Metcalf and John Goodman.

I just wish ABC had not thrown two of the greatest actors in the world out with me-Laurie and John, she tweeted.

Im so sick over this-they will never have better character actors on their network..

But in footage obtained by ET last Wednesday, 65-year-old Goodman -- who played Barrs husband, Dan, on the show -- assured fans that hes doing OK amid the controversy, sharing, Everythings fine.

He also seemed content with ABCs decision to suspend its For Your Consideration campaign for the show's recent 10th season, which means that none of the cast or creators would likely see any love at this years Emmy Awards.

I wasnt gonna get an Emmy anyway, Goodman said, shrugging.

Ive been up there 11 times already, and if I didnt get one, Im not gonna get one..

Ancient & Medieval Medicine: Crash Course History of Science #9 - Duration: 12:06.

We've seen how, from around 400 BCE to CE 1300, ideas in astronomy, math, and engineering

were traded all the way from Beijing to Delhi, and from Baghdad to Constantinople.

In the next episodes, we're going to dive into how some specific kinds of knowledge

evolved over time.

First up: healing.

The history of medicine is about two of our big questions: one, what is life?

What makes it so special, so fragile, so… goopy!?

Two, how do we know what we know?

Why should I take my doctor's advice?

Why are deep-fried Oreos bad for me?

It may be tempting to look at medicine as a science that has simply progressed over

time—that medicine used to be bad, and its history is a story of how it got better.

And don't get me wrong: we love modern medicine!

You'll have to take my word for it until "Crash Course: Deep-Fried Everything"

drops, but the science behind lipid transport is just fascinating.

Focusing on progress, though, obscures what worked in the past.

Ancient and medieval medicine worked for millions of people.

They understood their bodies as bounded by rules.

And regardless of what worked, early medical systems allowed people to make sense of bodies

and health.

You may think that medicine is a technē, or practically oriented knowledge.

But today, we're going to focus on systems of medicine as world-ordering theories, or

epistēmē.

These theories were built up into a textual tradition, in which doctors wrote down what

they saw and cited earlier doctors when explaining their treatments.

So let's turn to medical education.

What textbooks would a would-be doctor read in a given place and time?

[Intro Music Plays]

Let's say you lived in Song Dynasty China: you'd study machine-printed textbooks on

traditional Chinese medicine, or TCM.

In this system, humans are small pieces of one vast organism called the Entire Dang Universe.

All things within this system are composed of five elements: fire, earth, metal, water,

and wood.

In TCM, health means a balance between two forces, yin and yang, representing dark and

light, femininity and masculinity, hot and cold, and so on.

Disease means imbalance.

Thus healthcare means restoring balance, in TCM, by manipulating the energy that flows

through living bodies, called qi.

You, the would-be doc, would learn all about how to move qi around using acupuncture and

acupressure, herbal therapies, exercise, and prescription diets.

If you lived in Gupta Dynasty India, you'd also get down with a five-element theory of

matter.

But you would study the science of life, Ayurveda.

You'd probably pick up the popular textbook Charaka Samhita, or one of the other samhita—or

"collections"—that could help you memorize hundreds of named body parts.

In addition to anatomy, the samhitas would also teach you etiology, or what causes different

diseases, and symptomatology, or what diseases look like.

When it came to treatment, your samhita would have information on the eight specialites:

the diseases of children, those of the elderly, mental diseases, diseases of the sense organs,

surgery, poisons and antidotes, and aphrodisiacs.

You would learn the five karmas or actions that were used for removal of toxins from

body tissues.

And, to prepare treatments, you'd learn a lot about plants, minerals, and animals.

But treating patients is only part of Ayurveda.

The science of life concerns healthful living in general, including how to prevent disease

and influence hygiene and diet.

What if you lived in, say, fourteenth-century Bologna, Italy—home to one of the oldest

universities in the world, which opened in CE 1088!

You would attend lectures, and you'd have a hand-copied textbook, not made by a press

as in Song China.

The medical theories in your textbook would be founded on Aristotelian biology and physics.

Bodies are composed of four special bodily humors.

Each of these corresponds to one of the four elements of Empedocles: blood, made of air,

phlegm, made of water, yellow bile, made of fire, and black bile, made of earth.

Illness is an imbalance in the humors.

Too much black bile, for example, causes depression.

Treatment means restoring the right humoral balance—like, with bloodletting.

When too much of one humor built up in the body, one way to restore a balance was to

let some of the excess drain off.

But the most common treatment, then as now, was simply offering good dietary advice.

Aristotle linked the four elements with the humors, but he wasn't a doctor.

The oldest nuggets of humoral wisdom in Western Eurasian medical textbooks were attributed

to a physician named Hippocrates of Cos, which means "Gregory House" in classical Greek.

We know something of his life—he died when Aristotle was in his teens—but we don't

have many surviving works by him.

What we do have is a collection of texts of various age and unknown authorship called

the Hippocratic corpus.

According to the corpus, Hippocrates I was a fan of the Pythagoreans.

(Remember, the secret math cult?)

But his skepticism—or doubt that certain knowledge is possible—set Hippocratic medicine

apart from a lot of Greek natural philosophy.

Hippocrates emphasized reason, observation, and medical prediction.

He emphasized that diet and the environment influence health, not the direct will of the

gods.

And his oath—"do no harm"—still underpins medical education.

Hippocrates was the Jimi Hendrix of Eurasian and North African medicine, innovating a new

style that challenged traditional ideas.

But Hippocratic physicians had to compete among many schools of healers.

It was a Roman named Galen who became medicine's Michael Jackson—the popularizer of a standard

humorism that would last until the 1800s.

Galen's system absorbed the smaller, uneven Hippocratic corpus.

Galen was born around CE 130 in Pergamon.

But he made his career in Rome, treating gladiators.

This gave him lots of experience peeking into the body while sewing up wounds.

Eventually he got the offer of a lifetime: court physician to Emperor Marcus Aurelius,

who was a battle-hardened general, Stoic philosopher, and all-around hardcore dude.

Galen wrote a huge number of influential texts—supposedly five hundred!

Though only eighty-three survive today.

These show that Galen built on the systems of Hippocrates and Aristotle, but also made

detailed notes on human anatomy drawn from experience.

He accurately observed how the larynx works and demonstrated the the lungs fill up with

air.

Oh ya, and he innovated cataract surgery.

But Galen definitely got some things wrong.

One reason is that human dissection was illegal in imperial Rome and the states that succeeded

it.

So a lot of anatomy was still guesswork based on observations of animals.

For example, dissecting sheep heads, Galen identified a circulatory organ called a rete

mirabile or "wonderful net" that is found in animals like sheep and dolphins… but

doesn't actually exist in humans.

After Galen, the most notable medical theorists in the Greater Mediterranean weren't Greeks

or Romans, but Arabs or Persians who had access to both Greek and Indian sciences.

First among was the Persian polymath Abū Bakr al-Rāzī —whose name also means "Gregory

House."

Born in CE 854, al-Rāzī was prolific: he wrote dozens of books, including detailed

accounts of his cases.

He is considered by many historians to be one of the founders of several disciplines,

from psychology to opthamology.

And he was the first to describe smallpox and measles as distinct diseases.

Al-Rāzī also wrote for general audiences, educating them about health and disease.

Many of his works were encyclopedias based on Greek humoral medicine and natural philosophy.

His big one, al-Hawi al-Kabir or The Virtuous Life, was a large, influential medical encyclopedia.

Al-Rāzī was a unique dude who did exactly what he wanted.

Although he was one of the most scientific doctors of his time, he also wrote works of

Islamic prophetic medicine, al-tibb al-nabawi.

This discipline, an alternative to the Hippocratic–Galenic system, advocated traditional medical practices

mentioned in the Qur'an.

Al-Rāzī also influenced medicine by becoming the first fan of Greco-Roman humoral medicine

to beef with Galen!

He wrote a book called Shukuk 'ala alinusor—Doubts About Galen—in which he said that his own

observations contradicted some of Galen's claims.

Remember nullius in verba—"on the word of no one"—the motto of the Royal Society

of London, founded in 1660?

Al-Rāzī advocated this approach to medicine circa the year 900, over seven hundred years

earlier!

But, if you were really a medieval Italian medical student, the book you'd read probably

wouldn't be by Hippocrates, Galen, or al-Rāzī.

Instead, you'd read a translated encyclopedia featuring all of them.

In doing so, you'd participate in the scientific wonder called Scholasticism—or learning

through close readings of approved texts that recorded the observations and theories of

earlier thinkers.

Take it away, Thought Bubble!

One of the all-time greatest hits of medical education was al-Qānūn fī al-Ṭibb, or

The Canon of Medicine.

The Canon was written by another Persian polymath, Ibn Sina, born in 980.

Ibn Sina was widely seen as the best writer to summarize and comment on the Greco-Roman

doctors.

His Canon became one of the most important medical textbooks—and introductions to Aristotle's

physics—for six hundred years.

Your textbook is really a mashup of several different books.

Each page is like an onion: at its heart, one punctum or big idea by Aristotle, or Hippocrates

or Galen.

These are surrounded by layer upon layer of annotatio, or notes, by famous physicians

from distant cities such as Baghdad.

Your main throughline are the summaries by Ibn-Sina, whose name has been latinized as

"Avicenna".

But there are notes by Latin translators such as Gerard de Cremona or Constantinus Africanus,

plus outer layers of notes by other medical students.

Maybe you even jot down your own.

Thus—way before WebMD—you're in conversation with doctors from all across space!

And time!

In universities such as Bologna or Salerno, you might also have access to another textbook,

this one by… wait for it… a lady!

Trota of Salerno wrote Practical Medicine According to Trota and Treatments of Women,

one of books of the The Trotula Ensemble.

This group of three texts from around 1200 traveled widely throughout medieval Europe.

The Trotula became foundational to gynecology and all other topics related to women's

health.

But you might not know that this foundational text on women's health was written by a

woman, because her identity was systematically written out of history until the late twentieth

century.

Because of course it was.

Thanks Thought Bubble!

So what was "life" for many educated people in Asia and North Africa between roughly 400

BCE to CE 1300?

Life was a universal property of which humans were just interesting examples.

Life was linked to the movements of special fluids, which were the objects of medical

treatments.

Life was ultimately built out of a smaller number of elements, and good health meant

balancing fluids and elements in the right way.

How did we know what life is?

For some physicians in classical Greece or imperial Rome, careful observation and comparison

to animals were crucial methods.

Persian doctors, influenced by both Greek and Indian ideas, synthesized earlier ideas,

expanded evidence for them, and challenged and reworked them.

Why did you, medieval citizen, trust this information?

Because books told you to!

And with that, dear student, we leave you to deal with… the Black Plague of 1347.

Bummer!

Next time—we'll deep-dive into the eternal question of "what is stuff" with a group

of thinkers who tried to "science" lead into gold—the alchemists.

EP09 | Friendship Above All | DOZE - Duration: 18:17.

He now watches it on tv, he knows everything that happens, the results and the season

of my videos.
