Hi everyone, welcome back to my kitchen and another installment of Torani Friday today. We are going to make a cool and refreshing
Pineapple Collins made with Torani pineapple syrup pineapple juice some really cold vodka and a splash of sparkling soda
This is a play on a vodka Collins one of my favorite well drinks
So I hope you'll stay tuned and we'll come show you how this all comes together
We're gonna get delicious pineapple Collins for Torani Friday, I'm gonna try and be doing Torani Fridays every other Friday and
Just for fun, especially in this summer
Torani Friday is so much fun this summer because we can make cocktails and that's what we're gonna be doing today
This is a play on a vodka Collins that includes pineapple
You can pretty much do this with any fruit juice that you like. You can do it with orange peach peach pineapple orange pineapple
We're gonna do blackberries
I forgot blackberries today
But I'm still gonna make that later because that's gonna be a play on a Tom Collins which is made with gin
So today we're going with a play on a vodka Collins
we're gonna be using Torani pineapple syrup some really cold vodka that I store in my freezer some lemon juice and some
fizzy water
So all we're gonna do is we're going to kind of mix all of these things up
what I have is a cup of pineapple juice and that is cold from my refrigerator because I drink that every morning and
we're gonna do an equal amount of
Vodka nice cold vodka
This is gonna make four servings, okay, so keep that in mind I have the juice of one lemon one shot or two ounces of
Torani pineapple syrup
And then all we're gonna do is get our lid on our shaker give this a good shake
Mix it up really well and then we'll pour
about halfway
And we're gonna top it off with some
sparkling water or club soda and
This is just going to be super refreshing and if you're a lover of a vodka Collins, which that is my favorite
Mixed drink to like a well drink when you go out to a bar, which we don't do very often
In fact, I don't know that I've ever been to a bar with Rick
Once or twice maybe I
Want a mojito and they didn't have the stuff to make it. That's what it was. That's what it was and
There is your pineapple Collins
I'm anxious to try this. So oh
That's lovely mmm, that's very nice
It's not too alcohol
Cutting it with the with the sparkling water really does make a difference
It's crisp. It tastes very faintly a pineapple
There's not too much pineapple flavor in here, but the beautiful part is you can take your garnish
Which I just have some fresh pineapple and you can mix it in your drink
Just like that and you can heat it when you're finished. That's the best part. So there you have it
That is a pineapple Collins so delicious and perfect for summertime. These are easy to mix up
You can make a big batch all at once and then you can have it ready for your guests

He was pronounced dead at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, authorities said. Soon thereafter, the family learned of a racist Snapchat discussion about Lewis that was circulating online, prompting outrage and calls for justice
Local police said they were "pretty confident" the chat involved Matthew Martin, the white 18-year-old who, authorities said, killed Lewis with his truck
In the Snapchat conversation, an image of which was published by ABC affiliate KBLC, a poster using the name Matthew Martin said he had hit "some n—-r" on the highway
An unidentified person asked Martin how his pickup fared. "F—-d it up pretty good," Martin responded, according to the image
The other person suggested the damage could be buffed out, and asked if Lewis had been killed on impact
Using a laughing icon, Martin said the man died on the way to the hospital. ['You know why the lady called the police': Black people face 911 calls for innocuous acts] The Washington Post could not independently verify that Martin wrote the Snapchat messages
But Chief Deputy Calvin Turner of the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office told The Post that "all indications" point to Martin's involvement in the social media conversation
Martin could not be reached for comment. He is not being held and has not been charged with any crime, Turner said
"I am appalled at the content of the social media messages that were posted after the incident," Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft said in a statement
"This post is unacceptable and has no place in our society." But Craft added that the posts did not violate any Louisiana laws
The investigation into the deadly incident is being conducted by the Louisiana State Police

"I want people to remember for who he is and what he stood for." And what did he stand for? He was a wide-grinned, supportive member of the community, Lewis-Ayers explained, with a big bag of quarters at the ready to buy candy for young customers in his barber's chair
When they grew older, he attended their basketball and football games, and proudly saw them off to college
Lewis had no children of his own, but he loved his niece and nephew so fully, people in town often mistook him for their father, Lewis-Ayers said
And he stood for doing the right thing, Lewis-Ayers said, without hesitation. It was a broiling Louisiana summer day, and Lewis still pulled over to ensure no one got hurt by roadside debris
"It was no surprise he was going to go back and help as his last deed on earth," she said

200+ American Hero Grave Markers DEMOLISHED On Memorial Day, Look What Happened
This truly has to be one of the most despicable acts of disrespect our nation has seen on
Memorial Day weekend in a long time, if ever.
Overnight on Friday 209 gravestones were spray-painted with swastikas at a cemetery in Illinois.
This heinous act occurred on the eve of Memorial Day weekend at a Glen Carbon, Illinois cemetery
which houses the graves of more than 1,300 veterans.
The grounds superintendent of Sunset Hill Cemetery, Mark Johnson, in an interview said
he hasn't seen anything of this magnitude in the 30 years that he has been working there.
The local CBS affiliate reported that cemetery officials were working to clean up the vandalism
before the Memorial Day event and planned to power wash the tombstones in order to clean
them before people started to arrive for the yearly event.
Later it was confirmed that police were also called out to a nearby neighborhood after
residents found the same spray paint on a few homes and at on at least one vehicle.
This should boil the blood of every American.
There is no need for this kind of garbage in a nation like ours.
Maybe if narcissistic celebrities and many on the far left wouldn't spew their hate
against the military and our current Commander In Chief then things like this wouldn't
happen.
It's obvious by the type of crime and the fact that they also hit nearby homes and a
car that these delinquents are probably younger than the age of 25.
Probably of an age that's still impressionable and they heard someone like Hillary Clinton
on TV spewing garbage about our nation being in crisis even though we are closer to peace
and have more property than we have seen in decades, so they lashed out at those who can't
defend themselves.
All of a sudden Singapore's methods of dealing with vandals doesn't seem all that barbaric,
does it?

"A Singapore court sentenced two Germans to nine months in prison and three strokes
of the cane on Thursday after they pleaded guilty to breaking into a depot and spray-painting
graffiti on a commuter train carriage.
Andreas Von Knorre, 22, and Elton Hinz, 21, both expressed remorse while being sentenced
in the state courts of the island republic.
"This is the darkest episode of my entire life," said Von Knorre.
"I want to apologize to the state of Singapore for the stupid act…I've learned my lesson
and will never do it again."
Hinz added: "I promise I will never do it again.
I want to apologize to you, and my family for the shame and situation I've put them
into."
Both were dressed in prison uniform – a white T-shirt and brown trousers with the
word "Prisoner" down the sides and on the back.
They spoke to the court in English.
Singapore sentences hundreds of prisoners to caning each year as part of a system that
has been criticized by rights groups.
Vandalism and over-staying by foreigners are offences that can be punished by caning along
with other crimes like kidnapping, robbery, drug abuse and sexual abuse.
According to the U.S. State Department, 2,203 caning sentences were carried out in 2012,
including 1,070 foreigners caned for committing immigration offences.
"The Singapore judicial system's shameful recourse to using torture – in the form
of caning – to punish crimes that should be misdemeanors is indicative of a blatant
disregard for international human rights standards," said Phil Robertson, deputy director of the
Asia division of Human Rights Watch.
"One of the defendants said that sentencing day was the darkest day of his life, but in
reality every day that Singapore keeps caning on its books is a dark day for the country's
international reputation," he said in an e-mail.
In Berlin, a foreign ministry official said the government respected the sovereignty of
Singapore.
"But it speaks out against corporal punishment as a form of sentence worldwide – and that
also means in Singapore," the official added.
"The German government has made that clear."
The two Germans were accused of vandalism and trespass after they broke into one of
Singapore's train depots last November to spray-paint a carriage.
They then fled Singapore, only to be tracked down in neighboring Malaysia in an international
manhunt and were brought back to the city-state to face trial.
Their lawyers said they would meet the prisoners on Monday to decide on whether to appeal.
Almost five years ago, Swiss national Oliver Fricker was sentenced to seven months in jail
and three strokes of the cane after he pleaded guilty to cutting through the fence of a train
depot and spray-painting graffiti on train carriages.
Singapore, well known for its cleanliness and its zero tolerance for crime, uses the
rattan cane to carry out the sentence.
Prisoners are stripped and strapped to a wooden trestle with a medical officer on hand to
intervene if necessary.
People who have been caned have called the pain excruciating.
For the two Germans, the court ordered four months imprisonment for entry into a protected
area and another five months jail and three strokes of the cane for vandalism.
Singapore's vandalism laws became global news in 1994 when American teenager Michael
Fay was caned for damaging cars and public property, despite appeals for clemency from
the U.S. government, including then President Bill Clinton.
In recent years, Singapore has poured funds into nurturing and promoting its arts scene,
including opening some public space for graffiti, as it works to change the city-state's image
beyond just an efficient business hub.
But its artists remain hindered by strict censorship and a tight government grip on
the media.
In 2012, local artist Samantha Lo was arrested for placing humorous stickers on traffic light
poles and spray-painting road signs, triggering outcry and heated debates on the vandalism
laws."

Hi everyone, welcome back to my kitchen and another installment of Torani Friday today. We are going to make a cool and refreshing
Pineapple Collins made with Torani pineapple syrup pineapple juice some really cold vodka and a splash of sparkling soda
This is a play on a vodka Collins one of my favorite well drinks
So I hope you'll stay tuned and we'll come show you how this all comes together
We're gonna get delicious pineapple Collins for Torani Friday, I'm gonna try and be doing Torani Fridays every other Friday and
Just for fun, especially in this summer
Torani Friday is so much fun this summer because we can make cocktails and that's what we're gonna be doing today
This is a play on a vodka Collins that includes pineapple
You can pretty much do this with any fruit juice that you like. You can do it with orange peach peach pineapple orange pineapple
We're gonna do blackberries
I forgot blackberries today
But I'm still gonna make that later because that's gonna be a play on a Tom Collins which is made with gin
So today we're going with a play on a vodka Collins
we're gonna be using Torani pineapple syrup some really cold vodka that I store in my freezer some lemon juice and some
fizzy water
So all we're gonna do is we're going to kind of mix all of these things up
what I have is a cup of pineapple juice and that is cold from my refrigerator because I drink that every morning and
we're gonna do an equal amount of
Vodka nice cold vodka
This is gonna make four servings, okay, so keep that in mind I have the juice of one lemon one shot or two ounces of
Torani pineapple syrup
And then all we're gonna do is get our lid on our shaker give this a good shake
Mix it up really well and then we'll pour
about halfway
And we're gonna top it off with some
sparkling water or club soda and
This is just going to be super refreshing and if you're a lover of a vodka Collins, which that is my favorite
Mixed drink to like a well drink when you go out to a bar, which we don't do very often
In fact, I don't know that I've ever been to a bar with Rick
Once or twice maybe I
Want a mojito and they didn't have the stuff to make it. That's what it was. That's what it was and
There is your pineapple Collins
I'm anxious to try this. So oh
That's lovely mmm, that's very nice
It's not too alcohol
Cutting it with the with the sparkling water really does make a difference
It's crisp. It tastes very faintly a pineapple
There's not too much pineapple flavor in here, but the beautiful part is you can take your garnish
Which I just have some fresh pineapple and you can mix it in your drink
Just like that and you can heat it when you're finished. That's the best part. So there you have it
That is a pineapple Collins so delicious and perfect for summertime. These are easy to mix up
You can make a big batch all at once and then you can have it ready for your guests

The other person suggested the damage could be buffed out, and asked if Lewis had been killed on impact

"I am appalled at the content of the social media messages that were posted after the incident," Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft said in a statement

All righty! As for the Devstream proper, DE didn't have much to share this go around as
they are now full-bore on polish and release of the Umbra Update.
In some good news they have officially said, minus high-priority hotfixes, the staff is
all hands on deck to get that update out as soon as possible, and with TennoCon on the
horizon it's easy to see why.
Last time they had to crunch before a TennoCon lead to some... interesting results,
but fingers crossed they really do have it all locked down and are just polishing off
the dust and buffin' it to a mirror shine.
Console Squad! Didn't forget about ya ^_^
Apparently you got pretty much everyone PC has on the way!
Cert is already sent and that will include dojo lighting, I believe obstacle course making,
as well as controller changes with the UI AND finally some very sparkle-y special effects.
So if the menu controls don't rub ya the right way, just break out some ultimate abilities
in captura and forget all about it.
They literally have a Ludacris setting for the particles too, so enjoy.
We got a glimpse at some player-made clan dojos,
nice to see the lads are Tenno of culture as well.
They briefly mentioned Warframe reworks, specifically Vauban, Wukong, and Titania, so they are more
likely to get some attention next.
With Melee 3.0's changes somewhere in the works, they
have some new weapons planned to release along side it!
So behold the Tenno-theme'd stabbers, a needs-more-souls Infested heavy blade,
and a Grineer... hockey stick?

On the topic of melee, Exalted weapons are gonna be moddable!
It seems early along so expect more details in the future, but it will come with a catalyst,
you can add polarities with forma, but it doesn't count as mastery.
There was some concern about how powerful it is gonna be and balancing it out, but it's
still early on, so we'll see how that develops.

He's a a Sentient Eidolon Affliction Vampire.
With a biggol' burly beard!
And when they say Affliction, they really mean "Charm" as there is no disease involved,
only mind control and mist.
Which I dunno about anyone else but confused me with a name like that.
Again, the footage shown was rough, and they are likely going to give him another look
before release, but FOR NOW
his passive is a life steal based on his energy level,
his 1 marks enemies and turns them into a neutral drone. Mark them again and make them
aggressive to turn on their original allies.
Their attacks will also convert their allies to your side, spreading it quickly.
His 2 is defensive, seems to block attacks but I wonder if it is only melee? Stun enemies
that hit you, opening them up for an energy-free mark, or potentially a finisher attack.
His 3 is like Hydroid's wave, only you turn into a wall of mist, draining health and shields
of enemies you fly through and proc'ing them to max level of charm.
I'm just gonna call it charm. Affliction is weird to me in this context.
And finally, his four is a large radial AoE that puts enemies to sleep.
It'll interact with marked targets, but it is intended as crowd control, and it seems
to work much better than Strangledome did at launch!
Looks like we might be seeing a resurgence of CC instead of damage based frames, or maybe
it's just a short cycle?
Maybe a healer or support one after this?

This truly has to be one of the most despicable acts of disrespect our nation has seen on
Memorial Day weekend in a long time, if ever.
Overnight on Friday 209 gravestones were spray-painted with swastikas at a cemetery in Illinois.
This heinous act occurred on the eve of Memorial Day weekend at a Glen Carbon, Illinois cemetery
which houses the graves of more than 1,300 veterans.
The grounds superintendent of Sunset Hill Cemetery, Mark Johnson, in an interview said
he hasn't seen anything of this magnitude in the 30 years that he has been working there.
The local CBS affiliate reported that cemetery officials were working to clean up the vandalism
before the Memorial Day event and planned to power wash the tombstones in order to clean
them before people started to arrive for the yearly event.
Later it was confirmed that police were also called out to a nearby neighborhood after
residents found the same spray paint on a few homes and at on at least one vehicle.
This should boil the blood of every American.
There is no need for this kind of garbage in a nation like ours.
Maybe if narcissistic celebrities and many on the far left wouldn't spew their hate
against the military and our current Commander In Chief then things like this wouldn't
happen.
It's obvious by the type of crime and the fact that they also hit nearby homes and a
car that these delinquents are probably younger than the age of 25.
Probably of an age that's still impressionable and they heard someone like Hillary Clinton
on TV spewing garbage about our nation being in crisis even though we are closer to peace
and have more property than we have seen in decades, so they lashed out at those who can't
defend themselves.
All of a sudden Singapore's methods of dealing with vandals doesn't seem all that barbaric,
does it?

"A Singapore court sentenced two Germans to nine months in prison and three strokes
of the cane on Thursday after they pleaded guilty to breaking into a depot and spray-painting
graffiti on a commuter train carriage.
Andreas Von Knorre, 22, and Elton Hinz, 21, both expressed remorse while being sentenced
in the state courts of the island republic.
"This is the darkest episode of my entire life," said Von Knorre.
"I want to apologize to the state of Singapore for the stupid act…I've learned my lesson
and will never do it again."
Hinz added: "I promise I will never do it again.
I want to apologize to you, and my family for the shame and situation I've put them
into."
Both were dressed in prison uniform – a white T-shirt and brown trousers with the
word "Prisoner" down the sides and on the back.
They spoke to the court in English.
Singapore sentences hundreds of prisoners to caning each year as part of a system that
has been criticized by rights groups.
Vandalism and over-staying by foreigners are offences that can be punished by caning along
with other crimes like kidnapping, robbery, drug abuse and sexual abuse.
According to the U.S. State Department, 2,203 caning sentences were carried out in 2012,
including 1,070 foreigners caned for committing immigration offences.
"The Singapore judicial system's shameful recourse to using torture – in the form
of caning – to punish crimes that should be misdemeanors is indicative of a blatant
disregard for international human rights standards," said Phil Robertson, deputy director of the
Asia division of Human Rights Watch.
"One of the defendants said that sentencing day was the darkest day of his life, but in
reality every day that Singapore keeps caning on its books is a dark day for the country's
international reputation," he said in an e-mail.
In Berlin, a foreign ministry official said the government respected the sovereignty of
Singapore.
"But it speaks out against corporal punishment as a form of sentence worldwide – and that
also means in Singapore," the official added.
"The German government has made that clear."
The two Germans were accused of vandalism and trespass after they broke into one of
Singapore's train depots last November to spray-paint a carriage.
They then fled Singapore, only to be tracked down in neighboring Malaysia in an international
manhunt and were brought back to the city-state to face trial.
Their lawyers said they would meet the prisoners on Monday to decide on whether to appeal.
Almost five years ago, Swiss national Oliver Fricker was sentenced to seven months in jail
and three strokes of the cane after he pleaded guilty to cutting through the fence of a train
depot and spray-painting graffiti on train carriages.
Singapore, well known for its cleanliness and its zero tolerance for crime, uses the
rattan cane to carry out the sentence.
Prisoners are stripped and strapped to a wooden trestle with a medical officer on hand to
intervene if necessary.
People who have been caned have called the pain excruciating.
For the two Germans, the court ordered four months imprisonment for entry into a protected
area and another five months jail and three strokes of the cane for vandalism.
Singapore's vandalism laws became global news in 1994 when American teenager Michael
Fay was caned for damaging cars and public property, despite appeals for clemency from
the U.S. government, including then President Bill Clinton.
In recent years, Singapore has poured funds into nurturing and promoting its arts scene,
including opening some public space for graffiti, as it works to change the city-state's image
beyond just an efficient business hub.
But its artists remain hindered by strict censorship and a tight government grip on
the media.
In 2012, local artist Samantha Lo was arrested for placing humorous stickers on traffic light
poles and spray-painting road signs, triggering outcry and heated debates on the vandalism
laws."

They think that they're above them. They think that putting the other person down a level and then it makes them feel there
No a level higher than them and they feel as if they're superior or something
There's a lot of competition in the world
nowadays to where people think that
They gotta try and compete to be better than everybody else
what does it matter if you're
better
or
not as good as someone else just be the best that you can be because
what's the point of going through life if all you're worrying about is your
comparison to other people
sometimes someone can never be as good as Sonos because
They might have had just life experiences or they might have a situation in life
or maybe they have a skill or a talent that that person can just never access or
ever really attain in life
So if they just went through an entire life worrying about that person and saying hey, this is what I have to achieve
this is what I have to be and
Then constantly looking back into themselves and they're saying negative things themselves and then on top of that they let the opinions of everyone around
them
tell them who
And who they can't be and what they can and can't do in life
That's not a way to live
Don't let all those negative opinions from people
make you
Someone that's a negative person themselves
Because know if you- all the time
It's gonna be a repeating pattern you're gonna get negative over and over and over and every day. You're just going to get
obsessed with that feeling of negativity
then it's just going to be ingrained in your memory and then you're gonna just think that
Hey i'm nothing because I couldn't achieve this or because I couldn't be that
Because I couldn't live up to the expectations of what other people wanted. I
Mean happiness doesn't come from the people around you happiness comes from within
You got to find that your own heart if you go through life trying to find happiness and other people
You're gonna have a very hard time because people can always leave, you know, people can always pass away
things happen in life
So if you find happiness within yourself and don't let other people dictate and control who you are, you don't let their opinions
Shape into the person you are today
there is a difference between
Positive opinions and negative opinions and don't let those negative opinions of people telling you that you can it can't be something
Control what you create if there's somebody you want to create Irby
Go out there and do it because if everybody was doing the same thing
Then what creativity would there be in the world? What would we have we'd have the same boring stuff all the time
Nothing would be different nothing would change
And nothing would be interesting
And it's the people that go out there and do different things and they do the things that the people tell them they can't do
And people that give their opinions about the things they can't be in life
They go out there and they prove that wrong
they don't go out there to prove it wrong necessarily because they want to
Prove themselves to them the people who tell them that they can't do it
They were doing it to prove it to themselves
and what you have to do is to prove it to yourselves, not other people and
If you happen to prove them wrong
so be it so what don't don't worry so much about their opinions and what they're thinking because if
There was focus in life as you are and what you're doing
They wouldn't be spending all that time that they're wasting
Giving the opinions and negative criticism about who you are. And what you're doing is their life, they'd be out there doing the same thing
Because the people are out there laughing at someone because they're pursuing something that they think is not a way too big goal
You know, it's not possible
Well, they seem to have a lot of time and energy to to spend telling you who you can and can't be
Then they must not be pursuing anything. I mean if they were they would have the time and energy
or make the effort to try and put you down to make themselves feel above you and better than you so
Don't worry about them. Just keep being yourself and keep trading
