Oeddwn i ar "Prynhawn Da" S4C - Duration: 9:07.
we're waiting to see what's happening. i've had my makeup done, so...
so thats great. do i look better with makeup?
thats it - i'll have to start doing it every day.
Sian: "Hello there, Good Afternoon. It's lovely to have your company on another Tuesday afternoon"
Rhodri: Yes, it's going to be another
full afternoon for you, and here's a taste of what is to come
Sian: we will have the company of artist David Greenslade, who has just returned from a special tour in Romania
Rhodri: The wine specialist Dylan Rowlands will be here, with his collection of wines from Argentina.
Sian: We will be chatting with Nicky Roberts
about his place in Welsh Learner of the Year this year.
Rhodri: a Rhodri Gomer will be visiting the brand new Centre of Birds of Prey
Sian: Welcome back! In this part we will be learning about wine....
Sian: Welcome back! Still to come on "Prynhawn Da" today
Sian: We will be visiting the brand new centre for birds of prey
Rhodri: And we will be checking in on Shan Jones and her makeover by Huw and his beauty team, so... stay with us.
R: Now then, over the last few weeks we have been meeting the individuals
that have reached the final of "Welsh Learner of the Year" to learn how Welsh has changed
their lives. It's nice now to welcome Nicky Roberts. How are you Nicky?
N: Not bad at all! R: It's very nice to have your company here in Llanelli. Now then, bit of your story.
you live in Aberystwyth now, but you don't come from there originally?
N: Of course, of course. I come from the Rhondda Valley originally - a small village named Tre-Edmond, or Edmondstown in English.
S: and was it there that you started to learn Welsh, in the Rhondda? N: I started in the Rhondda, where was it? Something like
a year and a half ago, we - me and my wife started to learn the language.
but after a month of learning the language, we decided... why not move somewhere where more people speak it?
so we just made the decision to move up the road to Aberystwyth.
R: Right, I'm going to stop you a minute and go back a bit - you say you've only been learning for a year and a half?
N: Yes, yes. I've been learning since a few weeks before Christmas 2016. R: Wow, you've done great!
S: and you remember the exact moment don't you when you decided to learn?
N: yes, I was out in France with what felt like everyone in Wales
supporting the Welsh team during the Euros in 2016.
and I can remember the exact moment now. I was walking back from the bar during the game against...
Wales and Northern Ireland in the... second round - it was.
and I was just trying to take everything down to my seat, and I can remember a boy
with the "Gwynedd-est" accent in the world saying to me "Do you want help with that?"
and I felt like "Oh, I am so, so embarrassed"
"I cannot speak my own language" and I'm here.
I felt like something was missing from my life, or something like that? S: So, when you came home, you learnt?
N: Something like that yeah! It took a couple of months to find where to do it
but yeah, I went on the internet - I went to search Google, as people like me do.
and we found "Say Something in Welsh" and the rest is history as they say.
R: Are there any speakers in your family? N: Not at all,
or none that we can remember. We're a south Wales family, we're a family of the mines and things like that
so no, I don't know anyone in my family who has spoken Welsh before.
S: So you and your wife speak it, did you learn together? Learning at the same time?
N: Yeah, we started at the same time together -
we made the decision together to learn the language and yeah... after one month
we just said "Right, if we are going to do this properly
can we just do this properly?" So we just made the decision,
if we're going to do it - we have to speak Welsh only in the house"
and that is what we have been doing for about a year and a half now to tell the truth. S: You've done great! R: As well as you and your wife speaking Welsh in the house as you said at the start of the interview...
you've moved to an area where you can speak Welsh outside of the house as well?
N: that was the thing, because I know that there are a lot of speakers in the south Wales area.
but we wanted to move somewhere where we could have a different experience of the country also
because I realise that there is a different culture
in some parts of the country. So that was what we were trying to do by moving to the area.
S: but you've also been helping other people
learn also, and doing that through things like YouTube? N: yes, yes. after... three... no, something like two and a half weeks
I started a channel on YouTube with the name "Learn Welsh with Nicky"
where I was just trying to tell my story
like.. to let people follow my journey through learning the language - and as my language has developed through time.
the channel has transformed into something between
a channel where I try and help people learn the language myself and just things like that.
I'm just trying to encourage people through the medium of YouTube.
S: Can we tell people if they want to know more, how to get in touch and join up with you?
N: well, if you go on YouTube and search for "Learn Welsh with Nicky"
you can find my channel, I have done something like 500 videos (**meant to say 50 here, but was getting quite hot under the lights**) or something like that?
R: What type of response do you get? It's a lot of work to make videos like that on YouTube?
N: It is a lot of work, I try and make a video every week maybe, something like that - but the thing that has made me happier than anything
is the fact that I've gotten messages from more than 250 people
that have sent emails to me and saying "Thanks for everything Nicky"
"because of you, you;re the reason that I started learning Welsh also"
So it gives me a lot of pleasure
R: and you've started a group in your area - Ceredigion also, with a great name... which is...
N: Yes,.... Clonc-edigion. R: and how does that work, who is part of that? N: Well, everyone who starts learning the language
knows that there is a chat group in the area and people just meet once a month, all times of the month -
and what I was trying to do was just start something where people in the area that find it difficult
to go to bigger villages like Aberystwyth, Aberaeron, Lampeter - things like that.
I wanted to just try and...
create something we could use to get speakers together.
and that was the thing I was trying to do. So, Clonc-edigion..
..we meet once a month, in a different place, in a different town every month.
if they sell coffee, we will visit the place! That is what it works like. S: So are you looking forward to the night? The Learner of the Year night?
N: definitely, definitely. Nice to be back in the south!
R: How confident do you feel now? N: Well, y'know... I don't... You have to just take it easy don't you? R:You've done the hours! You've done really great.
S: and its nice to just be part of it. You've done great already in making the shortlist.
N: it's been a great experience already. I'm just looking forward to seeing what happens next?
R: Well, great to see you. S: Massive congratulations. You;ve done really well. R: good luck to you S: looking forward to seeing you on the night.
Both (off air): Fantastic!

LIFE HACK : MAKE A BANDANA CAP FROM AN OLD SHIRT ~ Artismia - Duration: 5:46.
Is your closet full of old shirts that you don't wear anymore are they full of
holes and no longer fit well then you're in luck because with the help of this
video you can now turn those old shirts into fashionable head wear. Look I'm
wearing one now the first thing you'll need to do is measure your head simply
place your head on a piece of paper and trace it with a pencil just like this if
you happen to have a fabric measuring tape it would make this process much
easier if you don't have a fabric measuring tape you can always use string
you will need to measure the circumference of your head. be sure to
write these measurements down as we will use them later. The style of caps that I
am making here uses four basic parts two side panels a center strip and a
headband using your measurements you can create a template like this. it may be
helpful to create a more rigid template by transferring your measurements to a
piece of cardboard or illustration board
from the tracing of your head measure the circumference f this curve this
measurement will determine the length of your centerpiece. My head tracing is 12
inches you can see here I have added a four inch tail making the overall length
16 inches measure your head from ear to ear like this use this measurement to
determine the width of the centerpiece by subtracting the width of the two side
panels from the overall length of the vertical circumference of your head you
can use a string tied to a pencil and held against the table to create a
curved arc that intersects these three spots
the headband width may vary depending on your preference I won't be making mine 2
inches wide and twice as thick meaning I will need a four inch piece of fabric
that will be folded in half the length of the headband is determined by your
horizontal circumference and will need to include additional length which will
be used to tie it in place
Here I am running a stitch the full length of the headband to maintain the
fold I begin the construction of my cap by attaching the front corner of one
side panel to the front corner of the centerpiece I then run a full length
stitch attaching the two pieces together while maintaining alignment of the
curved edges I then repeat the process with the other side panel making certain
the front corners and curved edges are aligned Here I am reinforcing the edges
by folding one quarter of an inch of material over itself and adding an edge
stitch now I find the center of my headband by folding it in half so that I
can attach it to the center of the center piece and side panels when
attaching the headband to the rest of the cap I make certain to stitch them
together with the cap turned inside out this will keep the stitch seam hidden on
the inside of the cap when complete while keeping the edges aligned
I run a straight stitch completely around the cap and the edge of the
headband you may find that your headband is not long enough to tie the cap in
place on your head if that is the case you can add additional pieces to the
headband like this I have reinforced those add-ons by adding a 1/4 inch fold
and edge stitch Here I am tucking the edges of the headband into itself and
reinforcing the stitches of the added material to complete the gap I run
additional reinforcement zigzag stitches for both the cosmetics or the
of the gap and for added strength now this sewing machine has a pretty cool
feature which allows for the embroidery of letters so of course I gotta add a
signature well that's gonna be it for this one thanks for watching I hope you
found it helpful I want to give a special shout out to my top patrons

Why should my boss get all the profits? A response to the Foundation for Economic Education - Duration: 6:02.
You know, for all the flack Marxists catch for being zealots and anarchists get for using
mutual aid as a magical solution to everything, American libertarians are way worse.
[clip of crazed libertarian]
Uh, OKAY.
The Foundation, a libertarian thinktank, uses liberal identity
politics to justify their utopian ideals.
Minimum wage is bad because racism!
Etc, etc.
Here are my rebukes.
Small business makes up 99.7% of all American
businesses!
Except under modern definitions of small business you can have up to 1500 employees and still
be considered a small business.
A better definition is given by the US Census and while they make up the majority of businesses,
they only employ about 34% of workers.
Not exactly the rosey picture they paint.
The video pretends to refute the point that once business-owners break even, profits still
shouldn't be split amongst workers, but doesn't bring up any points at all.
If a guy pours millions of dollars into a project, and their investments and labor get
paid back in full, that's it!
They got paid back.
Bye!
They're freeloaders getting a free pass after that point.
It's illogical to think that you can own other people's labor, which is basically
what being a business owner is.
It becomes even more illogical once you realize that libertarian theory pretends that everyone
starts from the same place and live their life accordingly, but this couldn't be further
from the truth.
You are born with the opportunities your upbringing provides, and if you allow the endless accumulation
of profit by bosses, you allow these inequities to continue to grow.
And while in the past, the rapid growth of the economy allowed for upward mobility, economies
can't stay in a state of growth forever.
Today, opportunity of pursuit is dwindling.
More Americans today will be poorer than their parents.
And it's not because they're lazy!
This is the logical conclusion of unregulated capitalism and libertarian ideals, and the
only solution short of socialism is equalizing the share of profits.
And for that you need GOVERNMENT.
[Tragic Music] This video basically amounts to technology
and change good, old business models bad!
That's why Toys 'R' Us went bankrupt!
But, Toys 'R' Us was profitable, like really, really, profitable.
Unfortunately, this was after a leveraged buy-out that allowed private investors to
SQUEEZE as much money out of the business as possible.
So, the company couldn't use its profits to reinvest into its business.
Yeah, technology played a part, but it was still a successful business.
Maybe if it was worker owned enterprise they could make good, sober business decisions.
Hm…
[Intro Music] [The Chicken and The Trade War clip]
[laughs] Chicken War!
Why was the US more efficient at chicken farming than the European nations, so much so that
it sparked an international chicken trade war in the 60s?
Factory farming.
And, ironically, you know who was the leading force behind the development of these efficient
new farming methods?
The government.
QUACK
[Convincing clip of healthcare video]
Yeah, ok.
[Convincing clip of healthcare video]
Alright, makes sense.
[THAT's WHY GOVERNMENTS BAD CLIP] RRRGHH!
Look, I'm all for abolishing the government.
But, the most successful healthcare systems are heavily regulated.
But like the Foundation says, bad systems of healthcare don't serve workers, but monied
interests.
They even point out that the solution is to increase the supply of the workers.
You know which country did that and now has a world-class healthcare system?
Cuba!
[stunted] It's almost like libertarians cherry pick real life examples of things to
reach conclusions that don't, OH Look it's funded by the Koch brothers.
Anyway, they have an 11 minute long video about "What's wrong with Wakanda" that
was too long for my attention span.
I don't even have to watch that one to refute because it's pretty clear what it'll be.
Something about corrupt government officials in African countries, poor resource management,
maybe something about religion, idk.
Any excuse that'll make it so resource rich countries can't be as rich as portrayed
in media.
Because something tells me they wouldn't be able to acknowledge the real answer if
it pillaged them in the face.

Painting and weathering exhausts - scale modeling quick tips - Duration: 5:02.
How is it going guys?
Hello and welcome to the channel
where we help each other improve our modeling skills!
In this video
I will show you a technique for
painting and weathering the exhaust
of your piston engined scale models.
Let's GO!
We are going to take a look at two types of exhausts -
tubular and complex shape exhaust stack.
First thing to do is to hollow the exhaust pipe if it is possible.
If the shape is too complex I will show you
how to paint it so it closely resembles hollow end.
Another modification will be to add weld lines on the exhaust stacks.
To achieve this we are going to glue thinly stretched sprue on each pipe.
After the glue you can flatten the sprue using your hobby knife.
To start the painting process we are going to apply primer.
Then a coat of dark aluminium metalizer.
To obtain the rusty color often seen on exhaust pipes
we are going to create what is essentially a brown filter.
This filter we are going to apply in many light layers
until we are satisfied with the opacity and the color.
Next we are going to apply flat black paint
to the tip of the exhaust pipe and inside if it is hollow.
Using light brown shade we are going to add highlights on the edges including the tips.
When applying the pain be careful, do not apply paint in the hole
or in the place where it is supposed to be.
To add some oil residue we can use dedicated modelling product
or a blend of black and brown oil paints.
The final step will be to seal everything with a flat coat.
My advice is to do the rest of the weathering along with the rest of the aircraft.
I hope you have enjoyed this video,

Michel Houellebecq – A decadência... Francesa? - Duration: 4:47.
To tell the truth, the decline of France is a recurring theme,
as they say in the press,
is a seasonal subject for the Anglo-Saxon media.
I raised a number of variants:
"the French novel is in decline",
"French art doesn't interest anybody anymore",
"Paris is not the center of the avant-garde anymore",
"French cuisine isn't the same anymore",
"French wines are overrated".
But what's more frequent
and occurs in a more obsessive manner is
"French intellectuals don't produce anything good anymore,
they don't match their precursors".
A recent example of this was published on The Guardian,
in June 15, 2015,
signed by Sudhir Hazareesingh,
with the title: "From Left Bank to left behind:
here have the great French thinkers gone?".
I repeat: this is one example among many of the same kind.
It's really very common.
I'll quote two excerpts from this article:
"French philosophy, which taught the world to reason
with sweeping and bold systems such as rationalism,
republicanism, feminism, positivism,
existentialism and structuralism,
has had conspicuously little to offer in recent decades."
"The representation of France as an exhausted and alienated country,
corrupted by the egalitarian heritage of May 68,
overrun by Muslim immigrants
and incapable of standing up for its own core values
is a common theme in French conservative writings.
Among the bestselling works in this genre are
Alain Finkielkraut's L'identité malheureuse (2013)
and Éric Zemmour's Suicide Français (2014).
This morbid sensibility,
which has no real equivalent in Britain,
despite its recent economic troubles,
is also widespread in contemporary French literature,
as best exemplified in Michel Houellebecq's recent oeuvre:
La carte et le territoire (2010)."
I'd like to make two small comments.
One cannot say the heritage of May 68
is especially "egalitarian";
it would be more accurate to qualify it as "libertarian",
which isn't the same.
It's curious that the columnist from the Guardian
mentions La carte et le territoire, and not Submission,
published in France six months before the article was written,
and which, in my opinion is much more representative
of what he calls "morbid sensibility".
Now I'll make some more important remarks.
It's not correct at all to say Great-Britain deals better than France
with its Muslim immigrants.
Much was said
about the opposition between the British model,
which recognizes the existence of the communities
and their religious particularities,
and the French model, which rejects them,
and wants to be republican and integrative.
In reality, we discovered that there is almost the same number of young people,
frequently from immigrant origins, but not always,
that go fight the jihad in Syria, or commit terrorist attacks,
both in Great-Britain and in France.
And it's the same thing in Germany, Belgium and many other countries.
It seems to me that, whatever the adopted model is,
the result is more or less the same.
Another comment:
"French intellectuals have no value". We can even admit it.
But are there, in comparison, notable Anglo-Saxon intellectuals,
luminaries of the Anglo-Saxon thought?
And if they exist, who are them?
I ask this question with no ill intent,
but simple because I ask this myself:
I don't know who are these great Anglo-Saxon thinkers.

Liverpool transfer : Reds receive goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha boost from Lazio ● News Now ● #LFC - Duration: 2:24.
LIVERPOOL's hopes of potentially landing Lazio No 1 Thomas Strakosha have received
an apparent boost.
The Reds have been linked with a move for the Albanian international - who reportedly
set them back £26m - in their search for a new goalkeeper.
Jurgen Klopp's side are not expected to approach Roma's Alisson Becker due to their
transfer fee demands, which are said to exceed £80m.
And instead they are apparently weighing up a move for Serie A alternative Strakosha,
who kept 17 clean sheets in 53 appearances across all competitions last term - his first
season as out-and-out No 1.
And the 23-year-old, who played in 37 of Lazio's 38 top-flight matches last term, could be
available with Italian news outlet CalcioMercato reporting that the Biancocelesti are close
to bringing in veteran shot-stopper Silvio Proto from Olympiacos.
The 35-year-old has only spent a year in Turkey after joining from Anderlecht but is reportedly
now on the verge of signing a permanent deal with Lazio.
CalcioMercato add that reports of interest in Real Madrid and Spain legend Iker Casillas,
currently at Porto, are misplaced with Proto instead the new man to come in.
Should Proto indeed join Lazio, then that could free up Strakosha to move to Anfield
- with it said that the Italian side are open to ding business.
Strakosha only signed a new long-term contract with Lazio back in October, a deal that keeps
him at Stadio Olimpico until June 2022.
And Liverpool would face competition for his signature from Bayer Leverkusen, it is said,
after the Bundesliga club lost Bernd Leno to Arsenal this week.
Simon Mignolet is also expected to depart Anfield this summer in search of regular minutes
elsewhere.

Why Every Investor Should Set Up A Roth IRA - Duration: 3:57.
Hey, it's Joe Crump.
The next question that I get a lot is, "Should I set up a Roth IRA with, you know, for my
business?"
And there's some reasons to do Roth IRAs.
I love them.
I've got a good deal of my real estate has gone through my IRA because there are two
types of IRAs.
One, and these are retirement accounts.
The first one is before tax money.
And that means that you can take money that you earned and you don't have to pay taxes
on that money, but you could put it in your IRA and let it make money there.
And then when you retire, you can pull that money out, but you have to pay taxes on it
as you pull it out.
So, whatever money that made, when you pull it out, you pay taxes on that income that
you make after retirement.
A Roth IRA is different.
It takes money, after tax money.
So, you've already paid taxes on this chunk of money that you're putting in.
You put it into the Roth account and then you can make money on that Roth account until
you retire.
And then when you retire, you can pull that money out, but you don't have to pay any
taxes on it when you pull it out.
And that's the beautiful thing for us as creative real estate investors because what
we can do is, we can take a very small amount of money, let's say we only put $1,000 of
after tax money into the Roth.
We can use that money as option money to buy other rental properties.
So we can buy the rental properties and then we can, you know, put tenants in them and
then we can turn around and sell them.
Which is what, you know, basically what I did.
I kept them as rental properties but then we'd eventually sell them off and then buy
more properties and more properties over time.
The thing is, it does have to be rental properties that you're buying.
So, but it's a great way to build a retirement account and be able to get money out tax free
at the end of it when you retire.
The big caveat here is when you have money in a retirement account and you have houses
in a retirement account and you have houses outside a retirement account, sometimes the
houses outside the retirement account may need more cash flow and you've got the cash
flow inside the retirement account, but you can't get it out to the properties that
you need it in.
And so that can be sometimes an interesting balancing act.
You know, I always try to put as much money into the retirement account as I can so it'll
be there when I retire, but I also want to have a good lifestyle and I want to be able
to live with what I'm doing out here.
I also, when I buy subject to properties, which you can also put into a Roth by the
way because it's, the loans are non-recourse loans, and you can put non-recourse loans
into a Roth IRA.
Of course you have UBIT tax, so you have to pay attention to that, UBIT, you can look
that up on Amazon.
I won't get into that.
But, you can take your subject to's and put them in there.
But most of my subject to's I've kept outside my Roth because I can also depreciate
them.
So I can use those investment properties to depreciate my regular income so that I can
pay less taxes every year.
And when I have, you know, $100K worth of deduction, or $100K property, I can deduct
that over 27.5 years so, that works out to 3.64%, so let's say on $100K property improvement
I can get $3,600 off.
So if, for example, you made $100K that year, you wouldn't have to pay taxes on $3,600
of it.
Which, and if you're in a 30% tax bracket, that means you just made $1,200 on your, on
tax benefits of owning rental property.
And if you have a bunch of properties, this starts adding up really quickly.
So, it's something that's worth doing.
All right.
I hope that helps.

Blind Dates Play Fear Pong (Elias vs. Micaela) | Fear Pong | Cut - Duration: 7:35.
- Okay, say it again.
- Hit me baby one more time. (splat)
("Ode to Joy" by Beethoven)
- Yeah - Wee bit (laughs)
- Definitely
I hope that you're just like a decently nice guy.
- I'm just hoping to have a great time.
- There you go
- We'll see where it goes.
- Hi
- Hello, it's nice to meet you.
- Nice to meet you.
I'm Micaela, I'm 22, I'm a dancer, professional dancer.
- My name's Elias, and on the weekends I just pretty much
get drunk and have fun.
(ball claps on table)
- Hoof
- Are you supposed to dip them?
I've never played, I mean I have--
- You've never played beer pong?
- I went to art school.
- I was pretty fratty.
There she is.
- Tell the story of how you lost your virginity
as if it was a horror story, complete with flashlight.
God, my parents are gonna watch this.
All right, let's fuck it, let's just do it. (laughs)
- [Woman] All right (claps)
- Once, there was a girl and a guy,
and he wanted to have sex with her, so he spent
a lot of money and he rented a hotel room.
- My God.
- In downtown San Antonio, and then they took off
their clothes and they laid in the hotel bed
where there's probably lots of cum
just all over the mattress
(laughs)
and then he finished.
(roaring laughing)
(ball clings)
- Freestyle rap about your blind date for one minute.
- I think you should do it.
- Oh man, yeah sure let's do it.
(Micaela beatboxes)
- Oh man, well, okay, sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. (laughs)
Standing here with Micaela, I'm playing beer pong.
About to go home and hit my bong,
maybe she could come through I don't know.
One of the best beatboxers around.
I hope that she dances like a clown. (laughing and clapping)
Tell me about your dating history Micaela.
- Yeah it's a shit show, partially like me not listening
to my instincts and partially like,
people are really good liars.
- Sounds like you met some shitty dudes.
- Always, what about you?
- I have a very sparse dating history.
I've had like one girlfriend my entire life.
I just really like to have fun. (laughs)
- Any guy that says "I like to have fun" screams
I'm a douche bag, I would just like to say that. (laughing)
Cut off some of your hair and glue it
to your face like a goatee.
- Whoa.
- I came in here saying I would do lots of things
(laughing)
but cutting my hair would not be one of them.
(sad violin music)
(ball clangs)
Fuck.
What, how does he catch those?
- I have extremely great agility and hand-eye coordination.
- Well, do you?
(laughing)
- I'm also an incredible liar.
- Yikes.
(clapping)
- Let your opponent spank your butt with their choice
of cold cut meat, after you sing Hit Me Baby One More Time.
- Do you consent to this?
'Cause I Hella consent to this.
- I consent, I consent.
- Let's do it.
- Hit me baby one more time. (laughs)
- Oh.
Say it again.
- Hit me baby one more time.
(clapping)
- Let your opponent call an ex up and ask where you
failed as a lover.
(laughing)
- Call him up, what's this emoji next to his name?
- He's really into fish.
(phone rings)
- Mr. Michael hello, my name is Elias.
I'm here with your ex-girlfriend Micaela
and I just have one little question for ya.
Where did she fail as a lover to you?

- [Man] Yep.

Yes!

- What do you think about me?
- I think that you're funny, I think that you're interesting
and I think that I might like to hang out with you.
- Oh, some honesty, I like it.
- And what do you think of me?
- I think you have some douche bag tendencies
but I think it's because you're covering up someone
who's actually pretty sensitive, and like--
- Jesus.
- Not like sensitive, why is sensitivity a bad thing?
(ball clangs)
Oh.
- Let your opponent paint your body with body paint.
- Fuck yes, please.
(laughs)
Please, please.
- Let's do it.
- Yeah.
- Look, just pull the pants down, et's let them spill out,
oh yeah there we go, nice.
(laughing)
Just like an X over the nipples.
More X over the nipples.
Go like this. - Oh yes.
Oooh
(clapping)
- Okay, so now that you don't have pants,
you gotta put it in your underwear.
20 into your underwear right now.
- Fair enough.
There she is.
- Honestly at this point I don't even care
if I win the money cause like, I'm winning.
(laughing)
- [Elias] Yes!
- If your opponent consents, make out
with them for one minute.
I knew that was coming, I literally knew that was coming.
Can we play a song?
- Fuck
(dissonant male voice humming)
(cheers)
(clapping)

- It's Monday after all.
(laughing)

(cheers)
(laughing)
- Who's the real winner?

Why Americans suck at soccer (well, the men) - Duration: 7:32.
Andrew Helms and Matt Pentz wrote "Own Goal: The Inside Story of how the US Men's National
Team Missed The World Cup."
The actual own goal that doomed the US in 2018 becomes a metaphor for bad mismanagement,
poor development, and infighting that doomed the US Men's bid
to qualify in the World Cup.
That analysis and reporting is great
and it hits at the big problems with American soccer today.
But the US soccer problem goes back a lot further than that.
This chart shows US Men's National Team's World Cup record.
At the top are the best finishes.
The highest dot?
It's third place.
At the bottom, 16th place.
And all these dots?
These are times the third most populous country, with the largest global wealth, failed to
even qualify.
This is bigger than an own goal.
And it's not because soccer isn't as American as apple pie.
We have proof.
Americans suck at the game they call soccer.
But they're also the best in the world.
These are the US women's World Cup performances since play started in 1991.
Champs, champs, champs.
It's not about American culture.
It's about the American men's game.
When you stop looking at the present and start looking to the past,
You find a lost golden age of American soccer.
You also find the reason it's been doomed for almost a hundred years.
In 1926, 46,000 Americans crowded into a Manhattan stadium to see Hakoah, an All-Star European
soccer team, lose to Americans.
In the paper that same day?
A season high Yankees baseball game - that 4,000 fewer people went to see.
The 1920s was American soccer's golden age.
But to understand it, you have to go even further back.
In the 1860s, soccer and rugby existed on a bit of a continuum — people played a little
bit of everything.
In 1863, rules were finally established in England to build a game that played more like
the soccer we know.
The US diverged from the English soccer game with the first Harvard-Yale football game
-- which would quickly turn into American football.
Until then, Ivy league colleges had played a more soccer-like game, but Harvard challenged
Yale to a rugby-style game they'd learned from McGill in Canada.
That game was a hit, and Ivies like Princeton quickly picked it up.
That was the first split between European and American football culture.
By 1905, soccer was still being "tested" in America as "college football" took off.
But the tragedy of World War I slowed down European sports culture.
In the 20s, America started catching up in soccer.
In 1925, for example, when Cincinnati built a new stadium, they assumed baseball and soccer
would both be part of the mix.
Americans even stole British and Scottish talent — "enticing players" for
"The Coming International Sport."
English stadiums had the biggest crowds, but the US was part of the growing international
audience for the sport.
The 20s saw a formidable soccer presence in the US, with big attendance numbers.
That development helped America score a third place finish in the World Cup in 1930.
But that was the beginning of the end.
American soccer always had a weird structure, with a league - the ASL or American Soccer League,
and a governing association: the USFA, or United States Football Association.
The USFA was American soccer's liason to FIFA and the international community.
The USFA and ASL had a long feud that was resolved one day only to pick up again the next.
The ASL wanted to change soccer rules and add ideas that were uniquely American at the
time, like substitutions and a penalty box.
The USFA didn't.
Not clear enough?
Just look at the names.
These two organizations couldn't even agree on what to call the game.
And this?
This is what happens when acronyms take over your sport.
FIFA's at the top.
They threatened to kick out the USFA because the ASL was recruiting those European players.
FIFA didn't like that at all.
USFA agreed to sanctions.
ASL got mad and pulled out of a big USFA tournament.
Three ASL teams went over and played anyway, which got them kicked out by the ASL.
They whined to the USFA, which kicked out the ASL.
So then the ASL played without USFA approval, so the USFA made a new league with their own teams.
Yeah.
All this acronym infighting split soccer teams, players, and fans in half.
Civil Wars: they are not fun.
They patched things up again in 1929, but it was too late.
The Great Depression hit the financial system.
Teams were already weakened.
The Depression forced many of them to fold.
The United States entered a soccer dark ages while Europe and South America steadily built
the sophisticated leagues that people wish America had today.
Short-lived American leagues have had cash - but the mass enthusiasm was stuck in the 1920.
For women, a small fan base and lack of private development wasn't a problem — development
of the women's game was behind the men's game across the world.
In the absence of a significant league business, federal programs like Title 9 in America effectively
mandated a women's team in schools wherever there was a men's team.
But for men?
You can rightly talk about development leagues, and bad coaching, and own goals.
But when you see a pie like this, you don't blame the crust, or the apple orchard, or
the textured aluminum wrap.
You blame the thing that smashed it.
The soccer wars put the United States on the sidelines, during a crucial half century in which global
sports acquired fans, talent, and cash.
Can American men catch up today?
Maybe.
But it's a long shot.
So, if you want a slightly less depressing look at American soccer, check out this video
from our friends at SB Nation.
They chronicled the historic 1999 Us Women's National Team Victory.
It's pretty amazing.
I'm gonna take a shower now.

Parts Of The Body That You DON'T Need! - Duration: 10:08.
Not all of us may like the way that our body looks.
But all of us do care about our bodies.
And to be truthful, they are pretty much the most important thing that we have!
All the parts in the body have a well defined function that we need them to perform well.
But then there are some things which do not really make much sense and can be done away with.
Here is a look at some of the useless parts in our body.
17.
Palmaris Longus Muscles.
In the early age of humans, there was a lot of climbing that we had to do.
After all, we weren't the strongest or the fastest, so we had to take shelter where most
animals would not reach.
So there was a muscle that was long and narrow which existed somewhere between the elbows
and the wrist to give us that strength to climb.
But since that is no longer required unless you are a thief with a fancy for high rises,
it is kind of a redundant muscle.
And if there was any proof needed, 14% of the humans today do not even have this muscle
anymore!
To make matters worse, the muscle palpates, leading to medical students often confusing
it with a nerve and giving wrong diagnoses!
16.
Plantaris Muscle.
Since 9% of the human beings are being born without this muscle naturally, it is pretty
safe to assume that this particular muscle is of no use to us.
At least not anymore.
The plantaris muscle exists in our feet, from somewhere around the heel to the middle of
the foot.
The purpose of this muscle to help us grab things with our feet.
Or more specifically, like how monkeys can hang from trees with their legs?
We used to do that!
But since we don't anymore, the plantaris muscle can really be done without.
15.
Coccyx.
The human vertebrae is very important.
It basically holds us together and helps us move.
But there is a part in the vertebrae which serves no purpose.
It is the coccyx and is the last part of the human vertebrae.
Its main purpose was to hold the tail when we were evolving, but since that tail is no
longer there, we don't really have a reason for the coccyx to exist!
Not to mention that in some humans they tend to grow out causing these men and women to
have a vestigial tail, which is actually pretty embarrassing.
14.
Plica Semilunaris.
While the name may sound like it is something extremely important and complex, it simply
refers to the third eyelid!
That's right, all of us have a third eyelid.
It can be seen when you pull up both your eyelids at the corner.
It mostly produces the crystal type stuff that you get in your eyes after you wake up
and has no real reason for existing!
13.
Arrector Pili.
Have you ever had goose bumps?
The cause for that is the arrector pili, which is basically a muscle that is attached to
the hair follicles in your body.
And when this muscle contracts, the hair stands on its ends causing goose bumps.
And while the arrector pili does serve a function in animals when they can communicate to others
that they are pissed, humans have no real reason for having this muscle!
12.
Wisdom Teeth.
In the old ages, when humans were eating a lot of tough meat which were at time uncooked,
the wisdom teeth played a role in helping us chew them.
But since we hardly ever eat raw meat anymore, there is no real purpose for the wisdom teeth.
Except of course causing an immense amount of pain and irritation when they happen to
grow skewed.
In fact, in a lot of people they don't really bother coming out either!
Its not a loss really as we don't really ever use them!
11.
Tonsils.
Many of us dread at the thought of tonsils.
They are basically lymphoid tissue that tend to get infected a lot.
And when they do, they cause a lot of pain.
Considering that it serves no real purpose, having a tonsil does not make sense.
That is why Doctors have no hesitation in removing them whenever it gets infected!
But removing it is also pretty painful as it requires the administration of penicillin
which is already pretty painful injection!
10.
Adenoids.
Ok, so this might not exactly be as useless as we might think.
At least not for kids anyway!
Adenoids are basically masses of lymphoid tissue that are located at the very back of
the nose and when we are kids they help trap the bacteria.
But since very few bacteria are air borne, there is not much use and in any case, they
tend to shrink and lose their function as we grow up.
So all in all, they are not really very useful!
9.
Sinuses.
These are another extremely irritating body part that tend to give us a lot of headaches.
Sinuses are basically air pockets that exist in our skull.
Some believe that they insulate our eyes and others believe that they are responsible for
the tonal quality of our voice.
Whatever the reason may be, they are generally known for giving killer headaches and some
of us would say that we are better off without it.
But then, doctors and scientists have not really been able to figure out what they are
for actually, so it might not really be a good idea to remove them!
8.
Subclavius Muscle.
Another muscle that we do not need anymore is the subclavius muscle.
It is actually a small thick triangular tendon that stretches between the first rib and the
collarbone.
The purpose of this muscle was to help us walk when we used to walk on 4 limbs.
But since evolution has kind of eliminated that style of walking in humans completely,
this is a useless muscle that we just carry around!
Perhaps that is why many of us are born without it these days!
7.
Appendix.
This is an organ which would actually be one of the most loved organs by Doctors.
After all, they have no purpose in our bodies and are pretty easy to remove.
And they tend to cause a lot of abdominal pain when it becomes swollen so many people
have to get their appendix removed.
It is basically a small pouch like structure between the large and the small intestine
and as useful only when primitive humans were gatherers and it helped them in digesting
all those rough vegetables!
6.
Body Hair.
While there is no doubt that hair is important, especially the ones on the head as they provide
protection and insulation, body hair is actually a turn off and something that we can do without.
They have no apparent function and are not really thick enough in most cases to provide
the heat that they do in animals.
Which is why many men decide to get rid of it and while body hair is generally not that
much of a problem in females, they too remove it as soon as they sight any of it!
5.
Auricular Muscle.
Well ok, if pleasing kids with little tricks is what you do then you might need this muscle.
But since that is not something that most of us do, the auricular muscle is not really
needed in the body.
It is actually the muscle around the outer ear and those who can control it, can wiggle
their ears.
Animals like rabbits and dogs also have these muscles which is why they are able to turn
their ears wherever they want.
But humans do not have that degree of control over it and in fact many of us can's actually
use it at all.
That is why ear wigglers are not that common.
4.
Philtrum.
Ok so this is something that we actually have a use for, but only when we are in the womb.
The philtrum is basically the groove between your nose and mouth.
While we are pretty sure that not many of us have ever wondered about it, the fact is
that there is no reason for it to exist once we are born.
The philtrum is the place where the face connects in the womb.
The indentation is necessary if your face has to develop properly.
But then, sometimes it does not and that leads to cleft lips.
So while it is necessary during the womb, outside it has no purpose!
But since it is just an indentation and not really a structure, we are not sure if it
can be removed.
But it is definitely not needed!
3.
Darwin's Point.
Well the name should make it pretty clear that evolution would definitely have something
to do with it.
Darwin's point is actually a small folded skin that is present towards the top of the
ear.
It is believed that it is remnant from earlier times when our ears were shaped differently.
The purpose was so that we could hear distant sounds better and be alerted to any danger.
Nowadays, we just install an intruder alarm for that!
Or keep a dog!
2.
Female Vas Deferens.
It is believed that men and women start out the same in the womb.
And so, there are some tubes in men, called the vas deferens, which are responsible for
carrying the sperm.
But as fetuses, even females have these tubes which kind of linger around even when they
are fully grown.
But these tubes have no purpose to serve in females.
And true to that, they are just tubes which go nowhere and are just there floating about!
1.
Male Nipples.
When we say that men and women start off the same in the womb, we actually mean that we
all start out as females.
And as we know how important nipples are, at least in females, they develop at a pretty
early stage before the genitals.
Hence, all of us have nipples.
But while females have a pretty important use for them when they grow up, men have no
real reason for it.
While there have been cases of men lactating, it is never enough or healthy to feed it to
a baby.
And to tell you the truth, the baby might have a hard time trying to squeeze men nipples
considering that the breast is not present!
Of course there are some cases of male boobs as well, but it is extremely rare for men
to lactate and have boobs!
So all in all, male nipples are something we can definitely do without!
Have you ever faced a problem with any of these body parts?
Or have you had them removed?

Being You
Beyond Problems
A Special Evening Class
With Dr Dain Heer
& Access Consciousness
Hi folks, my name is Dr. Dain Heer to invite you to an awesome class
I'll be delivering, 'Being You, Beyond Problems'.
We don't realize it but we all seem to have this idea that in order to create
we need to go through problems.
Like it's endemic to the reality we live in,
we've learned this since the time we were little kids,
I mean even in school what do you do?
You solve problems as though that is creation.
Actually, creation is ask and you shall receive,
which is kind of weird I think they hid it in the Bible so nobody would believe it.
This idea that you can ask and receive is actually how your world works.
So, what this class will be about is number one,
the acknowledgment of this idea that you don't actually have to have problems,
you don't have to create problems in order to create.
And when they're there, all you do is handle them.
It's a different focus, it's a different way of looking at things,
it's a different possibility and perspective for how you can be in your life
and actually not have to have the problems of your life
run your life and dominate your life.
When they show up, fine handle them with ease
and then move on to creating.
I mean think about it for a minute,
how many things have you not created in your life
because of the problems that were involved?
I don't know about you but, for me most of the things that I've not created in my life
were because the problems that I saw and the problems that I foresaw
when I wanted to create that thing.
So, we're going to be having a totally different conversation
about how you can actually go beyond this
and in so doing how you can actually start to really enjoy being alive.
How you can enjoy your life and living day by day, moment by moment.
How you can have gratitude for your friends, for your family,
for the relationships you have in your life.
How you can have gratitude for the life you've created.
How you can have gratitude for your job or whatever it is you do for work
or to create money in your life.
And how all of that ties together to create a world where
rather than being about problems is actually about possibilities.
We've gotten a lot of awareness in the last several weeks
in Access Consciousness about this particular subject
and I'm so excited to share it with you.
So, if it makes you lighter
- remember what's true always makes you lighter.
If it makes you lighter to think about coming,
I very much look forward to seeing you there
and I very much look forward to meeting you in person there.
And what else is possible if you actually had a world beyond problems,
as though they were the source of creation?
So, what if you truly being you were the gift the change
and the possibility this world requires?
Thank you for listening,
I look forward to seeing you in person someday hopefully at this class.
Bye!

Being You, Finding Your Way.
I wrote a book several years ago called Being You, Changing The World.
That book has been translated into numerous languages at this point,
has been a best-seller in many, many countries.
And it's because it's about finding out what's actually true for you
and how that can start to lead to creating what it is you desire in your life.
So, 'Being You, Finding Your Way' is going to be about finding your way.
What's true for you, what is available for you that you never thought about
and how can you change the things that aren't actually working for you,
so they work a lot better?
What it boils down to is you start to enjoy life more,
you start to have more fun, but also with these Access Consciousness tools
you start to get the tools that you need
so that whatever you're choosing in your life starts to show up easier,
starts to show up greater, starts to show up with more fun
and lets you know that there is a way for you that actually works.
Haven't we all been looking for our own path, in our own way in the world?
Well, I know I have and what I found is each of our paths,
each of our ways that we find is unique.
This will be the beginning of giving you the tools that you need
to find your way in the world, even if it's different than other people's.
So, what if you truly being you are the gift, the change
and the possibility this world requires?
And I very much look forward to meeting you in person at the class in Shanghai.
Thank you, bye!

Nightcore - I Wanna Know (Somanshu Agarwal Remix) | Lyrics - Duration: 3:11.
Is she the one
The one you've been waiting for?
Is she the one?
Is she the one?
The one you've been dreaming of?
Is she the one?
I'm tired of staying up all night
With you on my mind
Still I'm laying here
Yeah, I'm laying in the shirt you used to like
No, I shouldn't mind
All I think about is
Does she move your body?
Like I moved your body?
'Cause I wanna know, yeah, I wanna know
Does she make you feel wanted?
Is she all you wanted?
'Cause I wanna know, yeah, I wanna know
I want to know
I want to know
Is she the one
That I couldn't be for you?
Is she the one?
Mm, I hate that you're the one
That I never get over
That I wanna get closer to
I'm tired of staying up all night
With you on my mind
Still I'm laying here
Yeah, I'm laying in the shirt you used to like
No, I shouldn't mind
All I think about is
Does she move your body?
Like I moved your body?
'Cause I wanna know, yeah, I wanna know
Does she make you feel wanted?
Is she all you wanted?
'Cause I wanna know, yeah, I wanna know
I want to know
I want to know
Is she all you wanted?
'Cause I wanna know, yeah, I wanna know
I want to know
Does she move your body?
Like I moved your body?
'Cause I wanna know, yeah, I wanna know
Does she make you feel wanted?
Is she all you wanted?
'Cause I wanna know, yeah, I wanna know
I want to know
I want to know
Is she all you wanted?
'Cause I wanna know, yeah, I wanna know
I want to know
Is she all you wanted?
'Cause I wanna know, yeah, I wanna know
I want to know
Thank you for watching (。◕‿‿◕。)

The Being You Event Is Coming To Mexico with Dr. Dain Heer - Duration: 2:10.
The Being You Event
Is Coming To Mexico City & Audio Live
With Dr Dain Heer
Author Of The Book Being You, Changing The World
Hola a todos me llamo Dr Dain Heer.
Quiero invitarles a una clase muy especial que se llama,
Being You, Changing the World.
That's the extend of my Spanish, I'm sorry - I did my best...
This class that we're going to be doing it's a 3,5 day class
where you come in one person on the first evening
and 3,5 days later you leave and you have a sense of possibilities,
a sense of joy, a sense that your not wrong.
A sense that you can start to create the life
that you have always known you should have been able to create
just that nobody ever gave you the tools.
One of the things I've learned, in doing Access Consciousness for the last 18 years,
is that you're actually not wrong, it's just nobody ever showed you
how to create the life that you desire.
This class is based on a book that I wrote called
"Being You, Changing the World".
And facilitating this class has been one of the greatest gifts of my life
because I see people who come in and they don't know they have any value,
and a lot of times are not that happy
and they know there is something different about them
but nobody's ever invited them to express it.
This is your invitation to express the difference of you,
the greatness of you, the sense of possibilities of you.
And to start truly enjoying your life
and being able to create whatever you desire.
The truth always makes you lighter, a lie always makes you heavier.
If it makes you feel lighter to come and play in this class,
please come and play!
I very much look forward to seeing you and meeting you in person
- in lovely Mexico.
See you soon, bye!

The Being You Event

Author of the book Being You, Changing The World
Hi folks, my name is Dr. Dain Heer.
Here to invite you to a very special class called,
"Being You, Changing the World".
It's really about what you can be and do in your life to enjoy your life more,
to be more kind and caring and contributory to the people you love.
And to not have so many points of view about the people you don't love,
and the situation's of your life, which makes them far easier to change.
I wrote a book back in 2011 that's recently been translated into Chinese
and I'm extremely grateful because I've met Chinese people around the world
that have come to the classes that I've delivered.
And it's been one of the greatest gifts of my life seeing them change,
from not realizing possibilities exist
to starting to know that they truly can create something wonderful as their life.
No matter what situation they're living in.
So, this class is one of my favorite classes to facilitate.
There are no prerequisites so everybody is welcome to attend
and what would be possible if you truly being you were the gift,
the change and the possibility this world requires?
Consider yourself warmly invited,
I very much look forward to meeting you in person in Shanghai.
What else is possible?
Bye!
