Youtube daily report w Jun 21 2018

Hi, I'm Andrew Tram a data reporter for the Washington Post.

On the rapid response investigative team, I sift through a lot of data.

In the right hands that data can be used as a powerful tool for understanding.

And even sometimes hold the key to the story.

To get that data in a usable form a programming language called R has become a huge part of

my workflow.

R was made specifically for statistical analysis and researchers have been using it for decades,

since then it's evolved into this community in which people have created tools and packages

that make data analysis more intuitive.

And even fun.

But journalists have been picking it up realizing that it's pretty versatile and easy to use.

And most importantly R has helped data journalism flourish in newsrooms.

Letting reporters explore and surface important information faster than ever before.

In this free course are for data journalism offered through the Knight Center at the University

of Texas.

I'd like to show you how to use R in your reporting process.

We'll look at how to use R to analyze data, create visualizations like charts and maps,

and how to publish your methodology in a reproducible manner.

Back when I was shifting gears into data journalism, I took a lot of online courses like this.

I know it's a big time investment.

But I came out of those classes being able to deal with data comprehensively whether

for story on my own or to help widen the impact and scope of my teams investigative stories.

And I'd like to pass on what I've learned to you.

Are you ready?

If so sign up for the MOOC and I'll see you around.

Was war da passiert?

This Is Why Rolex Watches Are So Expensive - Duration: 3:12.

- There is a rumor that in order for a Rolex

to actually leave the factory or be a Rolex design

it has be to recognizable from 20 feet away.

Hi, I'm Cara Barrett, editor at Hodinkee,

the leading online watch publication.

Rolex is one of the few brands, if not the only brand

that has a very specific aesthetic.

They are sporty, they are active, they are tool watches

that's kind of their main DNA.

In the 50's they came out with the Submariner,

the Explorer, the Milgauss, the GMT

and they were all watches that were designed

and made to be used as tools.

And so that's their bread and butter and it still is today.

It kind of evolved into a luxury brand later in life

which now is what they're known for.

So that's kind of the interesting thing about them

is they initially were tool watches

which have now become luxury.

Rolex is kind of one of those brands that sits

on the lower end of the spectrum

as far as luxury watches are concerned.

The Submariner's $8,000.

The entry-level watch at Rolex is $5,000

with the Oyster Perpetual.

Their three qualities are self-winding,

waterproof and precision.

And they really focus on quality.

It takes one year to make a Rolex.

They go through extensive testing.

The accuracy, the chronometer, the timing,

it's all about telling the right time,

keeping the right time.

They also have extensive service work after,

so if you ever have a problem with your Rolex,

you can take it to them and they'll fix it.

The clasp is opened and closed a thousand times

before it leaves so you know that when you get it,

it's not gonna break.

The whole point of a Rolex is you buy one now,

it will last you for 20 years if you take care of it.

It will last you for 100 if you really take care of it.

That's ultimately why they're so expensive

because you're buying something

that will last you a lifetime presumably.

And something that you can pass down

to other generations as well.

In the collectors' world, there's the vintage Rolex market.

And there's a whole underground of different nuances

and you know there's a GMT with a matte dial,

a GMT with a gilt dial

and there are all these tiny little details

that change and they make a watch more or less valuable.

There's the Paul Newman Daytona

which sold for $17.8 million last fall

and that's the most expensive Rolex

that's ever sold at auction.

The Paul Newman Daytona is a really good example

where they came out with a Daytona back in the 70s

and they put these exotic dials on them and

they couldn't sell them.

And now they're the most collectible watches

on the vintage market.

No one knows how many Rolexes are produced per year,

no one knows how many Rolexes are produced per model.

But there are specific ones,

like the Rainbow Daytona that came out this year,

rumored to have X amount made, but very small quantities.

You don't ever know exactly what the number is,

but you do know that there aren't that many.

And they're hard to get.

One of the best things about Rolex

is anyone can wear any of them.

They're very unisex and I think that that's refreshing

'cause a lot of times brands put a lot of diamonds

on watches and kind of brand it as a woman's watch.

Whereas Rolex does the same thing, but it's kind of unisex.

I wear a lot of men's Rolex.

But the ladies Datejust is actually, in two-tone,

is actually the most sold Rolex model of all time.

Which is a really fun fact.

Transitioning as a Family - Duration: 2:40.

This Great Big Story was made possible by P&G.

Love Over Bias

- I'm Eric Mason, I'm a mother, and I'm a transgender guy.

Corey is my 15-year-old transgender daughter.

I started transitioning almost two years ago,

and Corey started transitioning almost five years ago.

- I've always known that I was different.

I've always known that

I'm not the "normal" boy.

I was never like,

happy, I was always negative.

When I first put on some make up, I was like... wow ...(gasping)

- My family is made up of me, my husband,

and my five children.

I waited, um,

until Corey was completely through her transition

before I, I,

came out myself.

It was really hard keeping that secret

from my family, especially from my husband.

But, at the time I just knew I had to focus on my child.

- I've been bullied since fifth grade and

still getting bullied sometimes.

When kids said I should go and kill myself, because

I was different,

(crying) I'm sorry.

When my mom came out I was like, I'm not alone anymore.

We can actually understand what we're going through

with each other, we can, you know, talk to each other

if we're having a bad day.

- Me supporting Corey

is, in my opinion,

what you're supposed to do as a parent.

You're supposed to support your children no matter what.

So I don't feel like I did anything special, I didn't.

I just love my kid.

I love my kid no matter what she looks like,

no matter who she wants to be.

We are stronger as a family.

I think any time you are living your authentic self

and you are living your truth,

it makes you a better person overall,

it makes you a better parent,

it makes you a better spouse.

My family is

everything.

We

fight, we laugh, we cry, we're a typical family.

We just look a little different.

That's it!

That's all it boils down to.

False Facts You've Been Believing About Fast Food - Duration: 4:56.

It's hard to ignore the many disturbing myths and urban legends you've heard about fast

food chains.

The fact that these restaurants serve full meals within seconds of taking orders understandably

leave people wondering what's really going on behind the scenes, but luckily, some of

the worst rumors have been proven completely false.

Snopes has done some deep-digging over the years and debunked a bunch of fast food myths

— here are some of the most outrageous.

Robot takeover

A whole series of reputable news outlets claimed that Wendy's was rolling out self-service

kiosks where customers could place their orders and pay without dealing with human employees.

So basically, robots would replace employees in the face of rising minimum wage requirements,

which is a pretty dire look into our future.

But you don't have to worry about the rise of the machines just yet.

In 2016, they did add self-service kiosks to about 30 restaurants, but considering there

are more than 6,500 locations in the US alone, that's a tiny percentage.

Their official statement was that they weren't replacing workers at all, they were just shifting

the balance of their duties elsewhere.

Dairy-free

You go to Dairy Queen for ice cream, right?

Well, not exactly, and the fact they technically call it "soft serve" has led to the rumors

their products are dairy-free.

This is a potentially horrible thing for someone to tell a friend who's lactose-intolerant

or allergic to dairy, because it's not true.

DQ calls their delicious frozen treats "soft serve" because their recipes don't meet the

FDA guidelines for what can be called "ice cream."

Their soft serve falls short of earning the title because it doesn't have enough butterfat.

Still, the first ingredients in the soft serve are milkfat and nonfat milk, so while DQ's

signature dessert might technically be low-fat, it's definitely not dairy-free.

Coffee, donuts, pot

There was a story going around that Tim Hortons was breaking into the marijuana market with

the spreading legalization of the drug — and many customers were excited about the early

morning one-stop-shopping possibilities, including Canadian stand-up Mark Critch ...

"You're already buying your weed in the parking lot, I'm just saying go inside where it's

warm!"

But it turns out, the original story came from a site called The Global Sun, which is

a spoof news site like The Onion.

Tim Hortons hasn't made any official statements about becoming a coffee-and-donuts-and-marijuana

shop … though the move would probably give their donut sales a huge boost.

No meals for the homeless

McDonald's was painted as the bad guy when a rumor started circulating that they banned

customers and employees alike from buying meals for local homeless people — but no,

it's not true.

The rumor started on a site called True Activist, and a couple incidents in England helped fuel

the rumor mill.

In one, a man was reportedly denied service because employees thought he was homeless,

and in another, a local teen claimed she hadn't been allowed to buy a meal for an elderly

homeless man.

In both cases, McDonald's not only apologized but stressed they had no such policy in place.

It's also worth giving a special shout-out to McDonald's in East Asia, as many of their

24-hour locations open their doors to those in need of a dry, warm place to sleep.

Mother's Day lunch

It's not entirely unthinkable that Chick-fil-A would offer moms a free Mother's Day lunch.

So when images and advertising appeared on social media in 2017, people believed it — but

it wasn't true.

Apparently, the ads were nothing more than some old-fashioned social media trolling,

done just to cause some uncomfortable moments for families and Chick-fil-A employees alike.

After all, who's going to get the blame when a family goes out for Mom's free meal and

the doors are closed?

Also, Mother's Day is on the second Sunday in May in the US, and Chick-fil-A is closed

on Sundays, meaning, moms who show up are out of luck.

Free food for life

It's usually easy enough to enter one of those "free food for life" giveaways: just send

in your email, share a post, and you're entered to win a few free-food passes being given

away to celebrate an anniversary.

Sounds like something they'd do, right?

It's been linked to nearly all the major fast food chains — and no, it's not real.

Clicking on any links takes you to a Facebook clone site, then asks you for information

many people might not think twice about entering — especially when there's free food involved.

But they're all scams, so don't be fooled.

Pig fat shakes

You're probably familiar with the unusual texture of McDonald's shakes.

It's different than other fast food shakes, and that's led to a whole series of rumors

about them — including one particularly nasty claim that they use pig fat.

It's just not true, and McDonald's says not only is there no pig fat in their shakes,

but there are no meat-based products of any kind, and they're safe for vegetarians.

In 2013, McDonald's Australia shut down the pig fat question, too, claiming that the thick,

distinctive texture comes courtesy of the blending and cooling process the shake goes

though.

Maria visits hip Williamsburg, New York– On the go with EF #82 - Duration: 4:57.

Hi everybody. I'm Maria.

Right now, I'm on the Williamsburg Bridge which connects Manhattan with Brooklyn.

I've discovered Manhattan and have loved every bit of it.

Now, I'm heading out to Brooklyn. Let' s go.

I made it over the Williamsburg Bridge and now I'm in Williamsburg.

This area is known to be more street-style than Manhattan and has a lot of hipsters living here.

Let's go and feel the vibe of this place.

Oh, wow. Look at that. That's interesting. I'm not sure I would have that in my living room.

But, hey, this neighborhood is full of artists and creative people.

Somebody is expressing themselves!

It's not my favorite piece of art, but it has a right to exist.

That's a really cool café where you can sit outside. It's very chilled.

Brooklyn does have a reputation for being really hip and cool.

But, initially, that whole artsy movement started in SoHo.

Then the prices started getting too high,

so people started moving out here to explore this neighborhood and the area.

Some parts are still very artsy, hip and trend-setting.

But, there are other parts of Brooklyn that are becoming a little bit more like Manhattan

with real estate prices going up and chains coming in.

But, I've got to say that in the Williamsburg area, so far,

I've seen independent store and café owners. It's nice. It gives it more personality.

Now I'm feeling the liveliness of this neighborhood.

It is really hip and cool like people told me it would be.

Oh wow. Even the mannequins are quite special here.

I must say, I'm mesmerized, but also a little bit freaked out by this.

It does catch your attention, though. I really like this outfit.

This neighborhood has a lot of really cool vintage shops. Look at that.

This one's nice. It's a little funky.

I think you can get some pretty good deals over here, guys.

Island vibes.

Oh, look! Street market stalls. I love those.

You can always find so many interesting and fun things there.

It's so sparkly! Really cool.

Oh my gosh. There are so many dogs here. Hi! Hello. He's quite a character.

New York is full of pets and dogs and animals.

If I lived here, I would definitely get a cute one like this.

There are so many dogs here. I love it! They're everywhere.

Every 20 seconds there's a dog passing by. I could be petting them all day.

Wow. This is quite a change of architectural scenery.

You can see that this area is starting to develop and a lot of skyscrapers have been built.

I mean, look at these! They look like ice cubes! That's quite a change from cute brick homes.

This view of Manhattan is spectacular.

If you guys are ever in Williamsburg, I definitely recommend coming here.

Seeing all of this just makes me so full of hope.

When you see this, you feel like you're walking towards your dreams, towards something better.

It makes one feel really fearless, I must say.

This skyline behind me is a great example of manmade beauty.

I think it's just spectacular. What about you guys?

What do you prefer? Are you a city person or a country person?

Comment below and the winner is going to get this awesome t-shirt.

Guys, this is our last episode before the summer.

Thank you all so much for watching and for all the nice comments.

I wish you all a wonderful summer. Bye!

Your Failure Isn't Final - Pastor Chris Ogden - First Baptist Orlando - Duration: 1:19.

(Jesus talking) "Peter you denied me but your story isn't over." Failure is not final.

"I have more for you, I am a God of restoration" and he says to Peter (if we

were to go there in John 21), you would see Him saying to Peter: "Feed my sheep."

Sounds a little bit like Luke 22:32 which says, "Strengthen my brothers." You've

got to understand this: before Peter ever failed--Jesus had a plan for his

restoration and his ministry. See some of you think that the moment that you

failed or the moment that your failure, your sin, comes to light your ministry

and your usefulness is going to end. And the truth is for some of you, that's when

it's really going to begin because God loves to take broken things and put them

back together! He loves to take failures, like a kid named Chris in the 90s, who

was growing up a mess...and say "I've got a plan for you." And see I think Jesus

chose Peter, not because Peter wouldn't fail, I think Jesus chose Peter because

Jesus wouldn't fail.

SEGA SG-1000: The Complete History! Pre Master System Genesis Mega Drive Saturn Dreamcast Era! GTV - Duration: 1:30:00.

July 15, 1983.

A date that will be forever etched into Gaming History.

The date, you could argue that the video game industry as we know it came into existence.

That was the day that the Nintendo Family Computer was released in Japan.

Everything that followed can be traced back to this date.

But It was also the day a rivalry between two, soon to be giants would also begin.

July 15, 1983 was also the day SEGA jumped into the home gaming market.

This is the Story of The SG 1000!

Sega has its roots in the arcade business as the company, originally called Service

Games, distributed slot machines and other coin operated machines on US military installation

in Japan.

By the 1970s, video games had become the future the coin op industry.

And SEGA was quite successful with its early entries into the market.

Many of SEGA's games were popular and fairly advanced for the time, with SEGA producing

more arcade games than Nintendo and Namco in terms of individual titles.

By the start of the 1980s it was clear that the home market was about to explode in Japan.

This was proven when rival arcade manufacturer, Epoch released the first widely successful

home video game machine in Japan, Cassette Vision, in 1981.

The success of Cassette Vision led a rush for others to join the fray.

Staring in 1982, SEGA planned to develop a low cost machine that could deliver SEGA's

large catalog of arcade games for play at home.

They didn't have to be pixel perfect of course.

At the heart of this machine would be a Zilog Z80 based NEC 780C processor with a clock

speed of 3.58 MHz.

The video processor would allow for up to 16 colors on screen at once.

The machine would also have 4 sound channels and could display 32 sprites at once.

While a lot of this technical talk can be confusing, simply put, the games could produce

graphics and sound better than Atari and INTV and on par with The Coleco Vision, which had

similar specs and parts.

As SEGA was designing this machine, the original intention was to make a machine that would

also function as a home computer, similar to the MSX and Commodore 64.

But word was out that Nintendo was designing their own machine, which would be a simple

unit that would only play games.

Once SEGA got word of this they started work on a second machine which would be just for

games but have the core components of the computer machine.

The TV game would be called the SG 1000 and the computer would be called the SC 3000.

The only differences would be more RAM and a keyboard for the SC 3000.

The casing of the SG 1000 was simple.

With a top loading slot for games and one hardwired controller on the left side and

a red pause button, on the front.

The Power and TV switches were on the back.

The controllers had one button on each side and a joystick in the center.

The plan to release nearly the same hardware was a clever move by SEGA.

If the market favored either a computer or a TV game, then they would already have the

market covered, and some of the competition would not.

The games were all compatible as well, giving an incentive to upgrade or buy the lower priced

unit for the kids' room.

The launch campaign would feature a series of print and TV ads that featured future anime

voice actress Yuko Saito, that when compared to Nintendo often showed SEGA in a light that

was more personable, exciting and fun.

SEGA was ready, had every cornered covered and had a strong brand recognition to go head

to Nintendo.

The SG 1000 and SC 3000 were released on July 15 1983.

The same day as the Nintendo Family Computer.

The SG 1000 cost 15000 yen and the SC 3000, cost 30,000 yen.

By the end of 1983, SEGA had released 21 games compared to 9 by Nintendo.

In 1984 Nintendo was forced to recall the Family Computer because of hardware failing

to boot games, costing the company large amounts of money and causing embarrassment.

SEGA also got the jump on Nintendo by releasing the SG 1000 and SC 3000 in Australia and New

Zealand.

While these are smaller markets compared to the US and Europe, Nintendo wouldn't venture

outside of Japan until 1985.

Despite these things in SEGA's favor, the SG 1000 was not the success that the Family

Computer eventually became.

After all, most gamers can recite Nintendo's entire hardware legacy, while outside of SEGA

die hards, you probably won't get many people who know the name SG 1000.

When we come back, I present the case that the SG 1000 was not a failure.

You wont want to miss it.

But I'm just dying to check out some of these retro commercials aren't you?

BREAK

These days the date of July 15, 1983 is tied to Nintendo despite SEGA also launching on

the same day.

It would lead you to assume that SEGA couldn't cut it with the SG 1000 and didn't see success

until later.

But is that really the story?

Did the SG 1000 "FAIL?"

That is the Internet's favorite word after all.

I am inclined to say in retrospect that it did not fail.

Allow me to present my case, then you can decide for yourself to agree or disagree.

SEGA and Nintendo may have started their TV game ventures on the same day, but took diverging

paths almost immediately.

The Family Computer ran for 11 years in Japan, having games made for it officially until

1994, and then still spent another 9 years on shelves selling replacement units.

SEGA Discontinued the SG 1000 in July 1984, after just one year, releasing the internally

identical SG 1000 II, which was in turn discontinued a year later and replaced with the upgraded

Mark III system.

In all the number of Family Computers sold in Japan stands at approximately 19 million

units.

The sales figures for the SG 1000 series, which were only sold from 1983 to 1985, are

approximately 2 million.

The number of Family Computers sold from 1983 to 1984 comes to about 4.5 million.

More than double, true!! but still fairly competitive.

With the new Mark III, a new hardware set and a new lineup of software, while Nintendo

kept selling the Family Computer.

For SEGA and the Mark III, the sales counter should start from zero, while the Family Computer

rolls on.

Rather than upgrade with wholly new hardware, Nintendo upgraded software through the use

of chips called Memory Management Controllers.

Games like Punch Out!!, Super Mario Bros 3.

And Startropics couldn't work without them..

Though Nintendo DID release the DISK SYSTEM, there wouldn't be a fully separate piece

of hardware that you needed to buy from Nintendo until the Super Famicom in 1990.

SEGA however, upgraded the SG1000 to the Mark III, which also got a sound upgrade, becoming

the Master System, then came the Mega Drive a year later, then the Mega CD, 32x Saturn…

wow, SEGA just put out new hardware year after year after year!

How could THAT be a failure?

Someone kept buying it!

The heart of the SG 1000, the Zilog Z80 based 3.58MHz CPU lived on for along time.

That component from the SG 1000 and SG 1000 II was used in the Mark III, making games

backwards compatible.

The Mark III used that chip to enable the SEGA My Card slot, of which some games were

playable on the SG 1000 and SG 1000 II with the Card Catcher accessory.

The Sega Mega Drive AKA Genesis used the same Mark III 3.58 MHz Z80 for its sound processor.

This also allows for easy Master System backward compatibility as the games run off of the

Z80 and the Power Base Converter used to connect them games is really just a way to tell the

Mega Drive to switch over to Master System mode.

Lastly the 3.58MHz Z80 lived on in the SEGA Game Gear, which is effectively a portable

Master System with a few enhancements, most notably a much larger color palette.

Thats STILL not the end because, this processor is not protected by patents, so a clone of

the SG 1000 called the DINA and sometimes the Telegames Personal Arcade surfaced in

the mid 1980s.

It also plays Coleco Vision games due to the hardware similarities.

Its not the only clone as the Othello Multi Vision was an SC 3000 clone officially licensed

by SEGA!

For all these reasons, I would declare the SG 1000 not a failure.

Just short lived in its original form in comparison to its main competitor.

So what's your opinion?

Let's take a break and take a look at some more of these great SEGA SG 1000 commercials,

then when we come back, the complete library

of

SG 1000 games.

BREAK

Here now is the full library of every SG1000 game in order of release from July 1983 to

February 1987.

automatica 2018 - Service Robotics - Duration: 2:40.

You haven't done any sports for a long time - shall we start with the exercise...?

The robot is a tool for humans and that's how we should understand it.

We need to take things off people which are potentially dangerous, which are not particularly

exciting, and which simply free up our time.

Yes, the highest good in our world is time.

And robotic assistants can give people more time, because they are a tool with which we

can work more efficiently and better: tomorrow's hammer.

automatica shows what is possible today in service-robotics.

There seems to be no limit to the potential use of smart helpers.

The demand in agriculture, logistics, in the field of care and medicine is particularly high.

State-of-the-art augmented reality technology coupled with robot controller will also benefit

rehabilitation patients in the future.

There are even hopes that the RobExReha project will make paralyzed stroke patients fully

mobile again.

In the field of physiotherapy, a therapist who works with the patient, but we cannot

measure the forces that the patient applies.

With a robotic system we can measure the forces.

So we connect the robot with an arm and make everyday movements, and on the one hand we

support the patient and also measure the forces that the patient can apply.

Lio is no longer a dream of the future.

The nursing robot will soon support the team in a Swiss nursing home.

Lio can take on many smaller tasks, such as bring and collect jobs, which often prevent

the nurse from doing other things.

Lio can act as a night watch and with posture detection, for example, see if someone is

lying on the ground and help needs to be called... or, for example, clean the table.

The possibilities are endless and we are about to add more and more applications.

The biggest challenge for a good service robot seems to be interacting with humans in everyday

environments in a natural way.

An intelligent service robot like Paul from Mojin can not only make small talk, it even

shows the customer the way.

What we will see in the coming years in particular is that robotics and AI are networked and

woven into a machine intelligence.

So that we really give the robots skills to learn, and not just to see but also sensomotor.

Hand-eye coordination, I think, will greatly benefit from it.

The only way to create acceptance for dismantling the barrier between man and

machine is to create a future for man and machine.

That's it, good job

Man Utd news: Cesc Fabregas makes shock Marcus Rashford claim - Duration: 1:53.

That is the opinion of Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas. Rashford impressed off the bench for England in their World Cup win over Tunisia on Monday night

The Manchester United forward could come into contention for a starting spot for the second group game against Panama this Sunday

The Sport pundits were discussing whether Rashford should replace Raheem Sterling, who has struggled in recent matches for his country

But Fabregas does not agree and reckons Marcus Rashford is better at making an impact from the substitutes bench

"Yeah he did play well," Fabregas said. "I don't know why, for now, I know he's still young and has lot of quality, but Rashford for now I still like to make impacts in the second half

"When teams are a bit more tired he brings so much energy, he makes the difference

"When he starts games I don't really see that. "I think Sterling is a player that I really like and with confidence I think he can bring a lot

" Dele Alli is set to miss England's match with Panama due to a thigh injury. Ruben Loftus-Cheek could replace the Tottenham man in the starting XI

Metal Detecting River Banks - The Return - Duration: 18:28.

I'm back on river banks.

Unfortunately I can detect from 5:20 to 5:50pm only.

Let's just try...

This is a video from my trip to Bavaria.

First find.

Aluminum...

A spy from Austria.

There are holes from previous metal detecting activities.

The bird is laughing at me...

Hmm, nice (whatever it is).

A silver spoon?

What a surprise.

"1856"? (date?) and "TD" stamp.

A piece of wire.

A coin!

"10 Groschen" - Austria (1974?).

It's aluminum. It came from Austria with the wind.

The water was very cold.

It's still in the hole.

I can't dip the pinpointer in water, because it's not waterproof.

The target was too deep, the hole was collapsing - I had to give up.

A massive target - probably treasure...

I have to concentrate on the smaller stuff due to the time limit.

I will probably grab a razor blade, but what the heck...

Aluminum.

Detecting a place in such a nice scenery feels great.

A bad sounding signal.

Iron.

A small piece of metal...

17 minutes left.

It was so frustrating...

Probably a bottle top.

Part of a can.

Can it get any better than that?

I'm more or less "cherry-picking" the signals.

My DISC is set to "3" - this is why iron sounds not "that bad".

Another spoon.

This time it's copper.

A smaller coil would be nice.

Aluminum wire.

It's foil I believe.

A small piece of aluminum (or something).

It looks like I made my best finds right at the start.

10 minutes left.

There is a hole. This is not the best environment for my pointer...

Piece of wire (or a nail).

Time is up...

I have to do something else.

You can wait for the pictures, if you want.

It was a short hunt, but I enjoyed it.

"10 Groschen" Austria (1974?).

A spoon ;).

Who You Calling Fat? Being Mindful of Others. - Duration: 5:12.

hi guys um I just wanted to make this quick video about something that I

mentioned yesterday in my story (Instagram story) and I joked about it but so for those people

who are continuously talking about losing weight or talking about how

they're so unhappy with their bodies and these sorts of things kind of basically

policing themselves and talking themselves down and making it obvious

that they have body image issues I understand that that's a thing for

a lot of us but if you are someone who kind of alludes to the fact that you

think you're fat oh my god I hate my thighs um oh my god my arms are so fat

look at this jiggle like I'm drinking like weight loss tea like all these

sorts of things are... and I thought I don't think that people really realize

it but you're basically kind of saying that "fat is bad" and that's okay if those

are your issues if that's kind of what you're working through because

that's a whole other thing but literally being aware of the people that

are around you and most people that are around you hearing this are way bigger

than you so like it makes them think like bitch

you like a buck 20 (120lbs) and you think you're fat and I'm a whole like 250lbs

so what do you think of me right and that's really what can kind of happen

and I think that people don't recognize it or don't even think about it but like

that's a thing like I've been around people who I'm bigger than and they talk

about their weight and it's just like I'm a hole bigger than you so if you're

fat mm-hmm I must be massive and this word fat being a bad thing like that's

nice it's literally just a adjective that describes a person like it's not

that deep like and I love the body positive movement that's taking back

this word like it's really not that deep like fat fat fat like fat fuck like fat

get over it and we try to put other words with it like "thicc" with two

C's like just to kind of make ourselves feel better because the

term fat god forbid any one's fat um but I needed to definitely say

something about how we talk about bigness and and fat without even

thinking about who's around us um and it's really unfair like don't bring

anyone else into your damn issues I'm sorry you struggling that's your

business Susan like so um I just felt the need to kind of bring that up I can

do like a whole full video on that um but I just thought that I would mention

it um I'm on my way to work ain't got time but this was on my soul this was on

my heart okay um but yeah like be aware of who's around you when you're talking

about your damn issues because like and it's just so unhealthy the continuous

policing of your body I don't know like there I think there are

some people who literally have been struggling with their weight for thirty

years and it's just like you want to live the rest of your life struggling in

this way like it's just not like it's just not the way to live to be honest

do something about it or like shut the fuck up and that seems really

harsh but like there's a point in which like we have to move to a place of

acceptance there's a point in which you cannot keep like just making yourself

feel horrible like about things that are just like what the fuck like and even

when it comes to kind of dramatic weight loss like a hundred pounds fifty pounds

like that doesn't happen overnight like so you gone be comfortable in your

skin for the moment for the time being or you just gonna keep making everybody

around you feel uncomfortable and making niggas sit with you and your issues

like um and the person I'm referring to in particular I'm certain she

like 35 and I'm just like fuck and she has children and her children

are gonna get her issues and I'm just like Jesus fuckin Christ like I feel bad

for those babies because like a lot of our issues are passed down from our

parents and once you get older there's no more fucking excuses there no there's

no one else to blame I don't have time I can get into all this but my thing is if

you literally are constantly talking about your weight and kind of like how

you're unhappy and and being so fat makes you unworthy and uncomfortable and

like oh my god no one's gonna love me and it's just like someone is bigger

than you around you I guarantee that and it's just like how the fuck do you think

you're making them feel and it's not fair to them when they have their own

things they're struggling with or if they're hella comfortable in their fucking skin and

they're like okay bitch those are your issues ain't got shit to do with me

anyway just something I wanted to bring up... Discuss
