Baby Won't Sleep In Crib - Duration: 7:37.
today's video is my breastfed baby won't sleep in her crib back here. nope. She
won't. She won't sleep in it one bit. Hi! Shawn here. If you are new, welcome! This
channel is all about faith and motherhood. Like I said, today's
video is how my 9 month old still won't sleep in her crib back here. We've tried so
many things. I'm going to go over the things that we have tried, what exactly the
issue is, and at the very end something has been working. I don't want to jinx myself but
we've had four successful sleeps in this crib in the past three weeks. I'm
going to tell you what we've been doing that's different than the entire rest of
the nine months. While you're here, please consider subscribing to this
channel. I would love for you to join the prayerlights community so hit that
subscribe button down below. Alright let's get into the video. If you guys are
wondering where baby girl is, my husband is home for lunch and so he is feeding
her baby food downstairs so I have the nursery to myself which is pretty
awesome. I'm alone in a room, by myself, without my baby who is attached to me. my
breastfed baby. I'm convinced this is because we are breastfeeding that she has
attachment issues and will not sleep in this beautiful ,beautiful crib
right back here. I bought this little crib -what is this called?- netting thing that's
breathable because her feet- when I was putting her in it- she's throws fits and
her feet were sticking out the bottom and getting stuck because she has chunky
thighs. Having a baby that refuses to sleep in her crib is exhausting and
stressful. Give me a thumbs up if you are in the same boat and your baby refuses
sleep in a crib. She's been breastfed this entire nine months. We've tried
multiple things. I received so much advice on what we should do to get our
baby in her crib. Currently, she takes naps in our arms
and I sleep- we have a guest bed right over here-
and she and I sleep together in it for nine months now. I miss my husband and
I miss my bed. She's cute and adorable and I love snuggling with her but it's
not the ideal situation. I am still open to advice and suggestions so if you have
any advice please please please leave that down in the comments down below
because I will try anything. I even went so far -oh do I have
it? I do have it here. I have it!- went so far as to buy one of these from a Facebook ad.
It got me. I bought one of these has the beans in the front and they're supposed
to within three days your baby's supposed to be sleeping better.
No. This did not work for me. We've tried the cry it out method with my son and
he was sleeping in his crib three days after we brought him home from the
hospital. we did the cry out method and it was painful but he fell asleep
and he is an excellent sleeper to this day and was always an excellent sleeper.
Baby girl is not. She's not an excellent sleeper.
She has cried for two hours straight. Mind you I don't just leave her up here
and just let her cry for two hours. I go in five minutes. I go in ten minutes. I go
in 15 minutes. I go in 20 minutes and I rub her little back and I rub her little
stomach and I pet her a little head -her little head. no! I don't.. she's she's not a
dog ! she's not an animal! I rub her head. I pick her up and I rock
her and I do all those things in increments. We have a bedtime
routine. We read a book, we rock, we nurse, we put down to bed. None of that stuff
works. What I've been doing for the past two weeks- past three weeks... we've seen
some improvement. But before I get to that I want to say something about
people giving advice. I don't know about you but when people say "oh you've
got to get that baby in her crib. you know you really need to get on that."
that's not helpful! it's not helpful! Give me a little compassion. So I'm going to say
to you all moms- if your baby still isn't in a crib and you want them to be in crib...
because I understand that some mothers are all about co-sleeping and bed-
sharing and that works for their family. That's great so I'm not talking to you
because you guys have got it under control. I'm talking to those of you who
are like me and want your child to sleep in the crib and they won't. Don't
listen to all those people who tell you to get right on top of it. Things
will come in their own time. Your baby, you just have to work slowly and I'm
here to tell you just push out those negative voices as best you can because
they're not helpful. All right so what have we been doing different for the
past three weeks? During the three weeks I've gotten her to sleep four times
successfully in her crib. Three of those times were for 30 minutes each
and one of those times was only for five minutes. What we're doing is one:
I've cut down on my YouTube schedule. If you notice I went from two videos a week
down to one so I could really focus in on this and give her as much attention
as I can. We do our bedtime routine where you read a book. put on the sound machine,
turn the lights down- she has a nightlight- nurse her a little bit if she
wants to nurse. Then I will lay her in this crib and sing her a quiet song with
her sound machine and rub her belly until she calms down. Then I leave.
Now as soon as I leave the room she belts out bloody murder. It's like
someone is murdering the poor child. She screams and screams and you can tell
that it's a scream of anger not sadness or scary or anything. It's just she's
pissed. The child is pissed. It's stressful.
Good grief! I don't hardly get anything done because I'm like this. This is why I
go to my chiropractor every week. It hurts my heart.
Anybody else your heart just hurts when you hear your child scream? So then
I'll come back up in five minutes, rub her belly, get her calmed down, and then
go back downstairs in the hallway for 10 minutes. I listen to her scream for
10 minutes. So what I'm trying to do is keep myself busy during those times
because I found if I'm just sitting outside I get so stressed myself
that I just sit there and I cry. So now what I'm doing is I'm doing
chores. I will mop the floor. I will dust something. I will do some
dishes. That seems to keep me busy in between. So 10 minutes is passed and I go
upstairs to do the same thing: rub her belly. We do this for an hour but sometimes
she skips her first morning nap. She completely skips it after an hour and
she has not fallen asleep then I will either pick her up and see how awake she is and
take her downstairs and we'll try again in two to three hours or I will just
give in and hold her. Of if my husband is home then he will hold her in the
rocking chair. Or sometimes I will take a nap with her in the bed. I'm so
exhausted it'll be like mid-afternoon to 3 o'clock
in the afternoon and she's been screaming for an hour and hadn't taken a
nap so I will take one with her together in the bed. mMy sanity returns. That's the
one thing for me and my pediatrician said it to me today- at her
nine-month-old appointment- is mothers need their sanity. If you are not in your
right mind, if you are so sleep-deprived, and you're no good to your child then you're
no good to the rest of your family. There's got to be a balance between
sleep training your child and getting the rest and sleep for good mental
health. There has to be balance. so if you stay consistent with that routine and
has been successful four times in the past three week. Which doesn't sound like
a lot because I put her down for two naps a day but it's a huge improvement
from where we were. so I will keep you updated. Thanks so much for watching
today's video. Again please consider subscribing to the
channel and I will see you next Tuesday at 7 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
thanks for watching. Bye!

Putin Explains Navalny Case To Impatient Journo: We Don't Need Clowns Like Saakasvhili in Russia - Duration: 3:56.
The most prominent opposition leader in Russia, blogger Alexei Navalny, could not run for president this time.
You still have never said his name in public, Alexei Navalny, even once. Why?
We have many rebels here, just like in your country and the United States.
In my conversation with your colleague I already mentioned that there was a movement in the US called Occupy Wall Street. Where are they now? Gone.
Are there not also plenty of people in Europe and Austria who promote extreme views and try to manipulate the difficulties and problems in society? Specifically, problems related to corruption.
In Ukraine, for example, which we discussed, one of the opposition's slogans when it came to power was fighting corruption.
And what is happening there now corruption-wise? What does Europe say about corruption in Ukraine?
Everybody is criticising the Ukrainian leadership for not doing enough in that area. Why do you think that we… One moment…
Putin: Wait, I will tell you...
- Why will you not say his name publicly?
You are not letting me finish, you are being so impatient.
We do not want to deal with another Saakashvili, the former Georgian president. We do not want any second, third or fourth edition of Saakashvili on our political scene.
Do you like this kind of personas, a poor excuse for a politician?
Here in Russia, we need people with a positive agenda who understand our problems deeply rather than just recite them, and we have plenty of problems just like Austria or any other country.
It is easy to pick a problem and start spinning it and position yourself as the one with the solution.
But without a positive starting point and ideas about how to solve problems or deal with an issue, people will not respond.
Believe me, Russian voters are plenty sophisticated. They do not just pay attention to attractive slogans.
They want to see the solutions you are proposing. And if no solution is proposed the candidate will not get noticed.
What is the question about? If a person…
But voters did not even have a chance to get a look at this candidate because he could not run.
Voters can get a look at anyone because the internet is free. Nobody blocked him. Our mass media is free.
People are free to speak out and make a name for themselves as representatives of many political movements do.
If a person gains stature in the eyes of voters, he or she becomes a figure for the country's leaders to engage in a dialogue with.
But if a political organisation has the trust of one, two, three percent of people or just hundredths of a percent, then what is there to talk about?
Then we get a Saakashvili. And we do not need clowns.

The 'Hereditary' Cast Promises It's More Than Just a Scary Movie - Duration: 2:08.
(menacing metal music)
- [Man] Make it stop!
Make it stop!
(woman screams)
(high pitch tone)
- I thought we could start off by
sort of reassuring people that everything is okay.
(Toni laughs)
Like, how would you sort of talk,
I left this movie in such a state of, you know,
I was wound up.
So I wanna see if we can sort of make sure people know
everything's okay.
I mean, how would you sort of talk people down
after seeing Hereditary?
- Well, okay, the thing that I loved about reading this film
when I first encountered the story,
yes it is a horror film, but actually
it is so much more complicated than that.
It's a really, really honest, raw, natural movie
about a family going through some massive changes.
And so you do care about them emotionally.
It's really exciting to watch, visually.
There's so much put into this movie that kind of
begs for it to be watched in a theatrical space.
And also in a communal way,
because it does get a bit scary and hairy,
and there's kind of a sense of safety in numbers,
and you know, that nervous energy that can bubble up
is kind of appreciated and giggled at when you're in a group
- I knew it had potential to be great,
because just the way it was written
you could see how much work had been put into it,
and everything that happened, happened for a reason
and nothing was just there to scare you.
- [Interviewer] Right.
And you could really tell that the characters
were real people.
It wasn't just like,
oh, I'm just gonna put this character archetype in
cause it'll look good, or it'll have
this reaction from people.
- [Alex] Or move the story along.
- [Interviewer] Yeah.
- I mean, I just felt like I was reading a genius writer.
Like, a really great writer.
I loved the way people talked,
and I loved the way people stepped over each others dialogue
I just thought it was really just,
he's just so genius, that guy.
- The thing is it's really original.
And I imagine it's gonna be timeless,
I think Ari Aster is the real deal.
He's such an incredible film maker,
and with such a clear vision and strong voice,
that's the kind of thing that people actually want,
you know?
And will last.

Alex Wolff and Milly Shapiro of 'Hereditary' Name Their Favorite Horror Films - Duration: 1:11.
- Charlie? (ominous music)
(gasping)
Are you okay?
Charlie, please stop.
- Charlie! - Charlie.
- What are your favorite scary movies?
- I really like The Shining. - Okay.
- That's, like, one of my favorites because
it's not just scary.
It's really just, like,
you will never stop thinking about it,
and even when the movie's over, you don't really know
exactly what's going on. - Right.
- [Milly] Or why the ending is how it is.
That's one thing that I really love about it.
- I love, Rosemary's Baby is my favorite.
- [Drew] Okay.
- And it's like this I think a lot.
- It is. - It's a similar tone.
- [Drew] I think it's got some Shining in it, too.
- Yeah, no I think Rosemary's Baby, Shining,
I think there's a young director called,
he's not that young, but Ti West.
- [Drew] Yeah.
- I think he's a, I think he's brilliant.
I hung out with him last night, and I was so excited
because he's one of the best, like The House of the Devil,
and The Sacrament are two modern horror really,
and A24's been just killing it with horror movies.
Like, The Witch is amazing.
- [Drew] The Witch is great.
- [Alex] I think those are, you know,
those are really great.
The Exorcist, obviously, yeah.
- Did Ti like the movie, that's the question.
- He loved the movie.
- [Drew] Okay, that's good.
- I couldn't believe it.
Him and Eli Roth were both there last night,
and they loved the movie. - Oh, wow!
That's great! - And I was like, "Yes, yes!"
They were scared, too!
I was like. (grunts)

July 4th at the National Archives - 2017 Highlights - Duration: 1:44.
(fife & drum music)
Coming to the National Archives is just a fascinating thing. People do this a lot when they move to Washington, which I did 37 years ago.
But I hadn't done it since and I certainly hadn't done it on the most important morning
in the context of independence in this country's history.
(music and applause)
I just wanted to see the Declaration of Independence. I see it in social studies and I research it alot at school, so I wanted to come and
see it in first-person.
I've never been here for the Fourth.
We've been here lots of times but never for the Fourth event, so my husband and I came
just for this.
And to those who gave us our freedom, I say "Huzzah!"
And again, "Huzzah!"
Well, my favorite thing about the Archives is that they bring history to the present,
that you can read about what's happened in the past and it brings you all the way to
today.
The Declaration is housed in the National Archives.
One of my ancestors was a signer and the other ancestor was a slave of a signer, and I pay
homage to both ancestors.
We live in a remarkable country that's built with possibilities for equality and liberty,
and the right to be happy.

How Old The Cast Of Riverdale Really Is - Duration: 4:52.
Riverdale is a huge hit, taking the classic characters from Archie Comics and turning
them into modern icons for a whole new generation of CW viewers.
But one thing fans may not realize about this new take on America's favorite teenagers is
that none of the stars playing the main characters are actually teenagers at all.
So just when were these supposed high school students actually born?
Here's a look at how old the cast of Riverdale really is.
K.J.
Apa
As Archie Andrews, actor K.J.
Apa plays the quintessential teen boy next door: Former football team captain, a budding
musician, best friend to Betty and Jughead, and boyfriend to Veronica well, sometimes,
anyway.
While Apa is no longer a teenager in real life, he's not that far removed, turning 21
on June 17, 2018.
But he's already looking at life after Riverdale.
After appearing in the film A Dog's Purpose, he told Vulture he wants to make more movies.
"I was thinking to myself, even while I was doing that, imagine if I could do this forever.
Making movies is definitely something that I want to become more experienced at doing.
I want to get away from the high-school jock."
Lili Reinhart
She's blonde, she's beautiful she's Betty Cooper!
Lili Reinhart brings this sweet, studious high school character to the small screen,
but she actually turned 21 on September 13, 2017.
Still, Reinhart is quick to let fans know she still goes through the same struggles
they do, revealing to Byrdie that she suffers from image issues related to cystic acne.
"In person, and I hope this might help readers feel a little bit better about themselves,
my skin doesn't look as great or as perfect as it does on the show.
[…] It's lighting, it's smoke and mirrors, and the show's head makeup artist, Erin McKenzie,
is really amazing she's the reason my skin looks like that."
Camila Mendes
Though she plays high school heartthrob Veronica Lodge, actress Camila Mendes is actually a
college graduate.
The star, who turned 23 on June 29, 2017, told the Sunday Telegraph she doesn't take
her success for granted.
"I came out of college and kind of stepped right into this.
Sometimes I'm like, how did that happen?
How did I get so lucky?"
Madelaine Petsch
Riverdale's Cheryl Blossom is the epitome of the mean girl cliché.
But actress Madelaine Petsch, who turned 23 on August 18, 2017, isn't anything like her
character.
In fact, she revealed to Cosmopolitan that growing up, she was frequently the target
of bullies at school.
"I grew up in a small town, I was the only redhead other than my brother.
We had South African accents, I was a vegan, I was raised without religion.
I was just the weirdest kid in this small town, so I got made fun of a lot for it."
She told Marie Claire that the experience helped her portray Cheryl's complex character.
"I went through a time of depression in my life when I was a teenager — I think a lot
of teenagers do."
Cole Sprouse
Fans of Riverdale know Jughead turned 16 during the show's first season.
Who could forget the infamous birthday party Betty threw for him?
But star Cole Sprouse is nearly a decade older than his character, turning 25 on August 4,
2017.
In fact, the former star of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and The Suite Life on Deck
has been appearing on TV since 1993, when he was still an infant.
Riverdale marks his return to the spotlight after Sprouse and his twin brother Dylan took
a break to attend New York University, where Cole graduated with a degree in archaeology
in 2015.
He told Teen Vogue,
"Dylan and I made the conscious decision to distance ourselves from the industry quite
a bit."
We're glad he decided to come back!
Casey Cott
As Riverdale's Kevin Keller, actor Casey Cott plays the snarky bestie everyone wishes they
had in high school.
He plays the part so well, in fact, you may have trouble wrapping your head around the
fact that Cott turned 25 on August 8, 2017, just four days after co-star Cole Sprouse.
Small world!
Ashleigh Murray
Josie McCoy, lead singer of the Pussycats, has proven to be a breakout fan favorite.
So it may surprise fans to learn that she's more than a decade older than her character,
having turned 30 on January 18, 2018.
Still, Murray told MTV she continues to have a strong bond to high school thanks to her
own experiences as a student.
"I would absolutely go back to high school.
I was just this little theater geek.
[…] Everybody knew who I was, and that's all I ever wanted as a theater kid."
Dreams do come true - no matter what your age!

10 Vampyr Tips And Tricks To Rule The Night - Duration: 10:42.
I've spent the last week lurking around London, deciding which people to bite.
I've been doing it in a game, too.
That game is Vampyr, an action adventure with a fascinating twist: the more people you hurt,
the easier the game becomes - you see, you use their blood to power up our hero.
But the more necks you suck dry, the messier the world becomes.
To help you get through the game with minimal casualties I've put together a list of advice
- it covers everything from combat tips to the location of cures for London's various
illnesses.
It's everything I wanted to know first time round, so I hope you find it useful...
Early in the tutorial you'll be asked to buy one Aggressive Skill.
With names like Claws and Blood Spear they all sound fun, but I'm going to recommend
Shadow Mist.
This move causes spikes to burst from your feet - or the feet of a targeted enemy - causing
lots of trouble for everyone involved.
This is my pick of the three moves for several reasons - one, it does 250 points of damage,
which is the highest damage rating of the three available attacks.
Secondly, it does shadow damage - in the early chapters of the game, this is an attack type
that few enemies are resistant to.
You'll find lots of humans strong against melee and ranged attacks, so a shadow move
gives you an advantage.
This is another reason not to pick claws - they are a melee attack and lots of humans are
resistant, making it weaker.
But the real reason I like Shadow Mist ties into the second move you need to get unlocked...
Reid's bite attack is arguably the best move in the game.
For starters, biting enemies refills your blood meter which is what you use to fuel
your vampire powers like Shadow Mist and self-heal.
Secondly, you can upgrade bites to heal Reid, giving you a top-up in the middle of a fight.
Biting is also your stealth attack.
If you approach an enemy from behind you can slam them to the ground and get a sneaky bite.
You have to walk up to an enemy for this to work - by gently tilting the analogue stick
on the pad or using the Q key on a keyboard.
To make this free hit work as hard as it can I recommend spending experience points on
Hard Biting.
This increases bite damage and with just a couple of upgrades it lets you use a stealth
attack to wipe out an enemy's health bar in one go and kill them easily.
Unless you invest in this, your stealth attack will always be underpowered.
But what I really like about bite is the way it can combo with Shadow Mist…
Mixing biting and Shadow Mist is a great trick as one move draws enemies towards you, and
the other kills everything around you.
When I see a group of enemies together, I pick one to attack and run at them..
When I'm in range I use that secondary stake attack to stun my target, opening him up for
a bite.
Your stamina refills during the biting animation, so don't worry about really hammering that
secondary attack.
As soon as the feeding ends I drop Shadow Mist at my feet and dodge backwards - nearby
enemies will run straight into the attack and it hurts everyone.
One important thing to note about this - don't lock on to an enemy during this move, as that
triggers shadow mist at their feet.
You want to use it where you stand as that's where enemies swarm.
It's a great combo that can be triggered over and over again.
Because stamina recharges during the feed you are ready to stun the next attacker, and
because you just fed you always have the blood for shadow mist.
Goons won't stand a chance.
The streets of London are patrolled by rival factions - vampire hunters and, well, vampires
- so it's possible to make the two fight.
Once engaged with you, enemies will follow you for some distance, letting you lead them
towards other nasty creatures.
Get them close enough and the two gangs will kick off.
If they don't kill each other off completely they'll at least hurt each other, letting
you swoop in and finish them off in a weakened state.
If you want to make it more fun you can place bets on who will win - a werewolf thing or
four dudes with clubs?
My money's on the sneaky vampire watching from the sidelines.
Of course, it's also important to keep weapons in good working order.
The problem is, it can be hard to find the materials needed to upgrade your killing implements,
so you need to choose carefully.
My first bit of advice is not to waste materials upgrading the used machete and use stake you're
given - neither can be upgraded above level two.
It's better to hold on materials until you find weapons that can be upgraded up to level
5.
When you reach Pembrooke Hospital after the tutorial, head upstairs towards your office
and look in the room on the left to find the used hacksaw - this is a simple, fast weapon
that kept me safe for most of the game.
I also focused on upgrading the Priwen Stake - you can find it in this Priwen base you
visit as part of the wrong target investigation you unlock when you speak to Thelma Howcroft
in Pembrooke Hospital.
Here it is on the map.
These are the weapons I've favoured, but the important thing is that you pick a couple
to focus on - try everything you find and you'll never have the parts to develop anything
serious.
And while we're talking about materials and upgrades… once you sleep and wake up
on a new night, make sure you revisit old locations to collect new items.
The game has a habit of restocking areas once you've left them - or at least letting you
search containers you couldn't loot the first time round.
Enemies also respawn, and will drop new resources when you kill them.
It's particularly good habit for collecting medical supplies.
I'd certainly spend time running a quick loop of the map before you visit the merchants
- they charge a huge amount for things you can easily find for free.
Deciding when to drink blood is the big dilemma in Vampyr.
Sucking on someone's neck will boost experience and help upgrade skills which will lower the
combat difficulty.
The downside is, you destabilize the region and can negatively impact the story.
If you must drink blood, however, take your time doing it.
When you first meet characters you can only access some of the XP contained in their blood.
To raise the XP, you need to get to know them.
This is quite simple - most info is gained by talking to them and their neighbours.
Some clues are hidden in documents - just take time to search every room in the area
for letters and notes.
Other information can only be uncovered by completing investigations - these are side
missions that characters will give you.
It's worth noting that if you kill a character before doing their investigation mission,
you won't be able to do it.
The short version is: if you're going to drink from someone, don't do it until you've
raised their XP bar to the highest level.
Killing named characters comes at a steep cost, so you at least want to get maximum
rewards.
Another factor that impacts the XP value of a character's blood is their health.
When you look at the Citizen Menu, you can see which characters are sick - the yellow
part of the health bar shows you the experience you'll be losing if you drink from them
in this state.
To heal people you need to brew antidotes at the crafting table found in any save room.
But at the start of the game you only have recipes for illnesses of heart.
To brew these you just find the relevant ingredients by looting objects around the hospital.
To learn the cures for illness involving the lungs, you need to visit Dr Rakesh Chadana
- he can be found outside the northern wall of the Pembroke Hospital.
He'll sell you the enigmatic formula.
Take the formula to a crafting table and analyse it and you'll learn how to heal a cold,
bronchitis and pneumonia.
To heal problems involving the mind you need to head to the cemetery in the north east
of the map.
Follow the path through the cemetery to the north west exit and you'll find a body by
a broken wall.
It's here on the map.
Search the body and you'll find a Strange Formula.
Analyse this at a crafting table to unlock cures for headache, migraine or miralgia.
Slightly more fiddly than popping a paracetamol.
A quick note on the cemetary - you will naturally go to this location a few hours into the story
missions, but you are free to visit it as soon as you reach pembroke hospital.
It's home to LEVEL 16 enemies, but a low level hero can run past them.
The biggest challenge is getting into the cemetery as it's guarded by level 15 vampire
hunters.
You can't open the gate while under attack, so be prepared for a fight.
The ol' Shadow Mist trick will work.
If you do decide to start drinking the people of London, you might wonder how mesmerise
levels work.
The mesmerise skill leads people to a quiet place to drink their blood.
To activate it, you start a conversation with your intended victim and press the left bumper
on the control pad or Q key.
But not every neck is available from the beginning of the game.
Each character has a different Mesmerise level.
It roughly works out that the more XP a character has to offer, the higher their level is.
Your mesmerise level raises as you play through the main story missions - it is tied to big
story decisions at the end of key missions.
I won't spoil any here.
I guess this is to stop you from killing important characters early in the story, but it does
mean you have to wait ages to drink the juiciest characters.
Like this tasty priest.
I'm counting down the days...
While you can explore the map at your own pace, there's one kind of side mission to
be careful of.
Some areas have residents who are under attack from vampires - save their lives and they'll
become part of your story.
But if you fail to save them before you next go to sleep, the character will die by the
time you wake up.
Problem is, if you discover one of these events in an area with high level enemies, you'll
have to kill those enemies to avoid failing the mission.
My advice is this: if you stumble on one of these events, throw everything you've got
at it.
Don't be afraid to use health serums and unload all your guns - it's better to blow
some resources than a lose that character forever.
If you're really worried about them, I've listed the events I found in the text description
- that way I won't spoil any surprises for you.
Those are the tips and tricks that have been helping me survive the cold, foggy nights
of Vampyr, but as always I am keen to hear your own suggestions.
Have you got a vampire build that's doing the job for you?
Let me know in the comments.
And while you're there, why not give the video a like and subscribe to the channel.
I would use my mesmerise skill to force you to subscribe, but I trust that you'll do
the right thing.
Hopefully see you again soon.
Good bye!

7 ASPECTOS que EVITARLOS te acercarán al ÉXITO DEL NEGOCIO (EMPRENDEDORES) - Duration: 12:02.
Business success depends only on
a good idea and a good team not
true that there are many parameters
influence success so today I
tell you about the seven things you should
avoid to approach the success in
business as an entrepreneur
[Music]
the name
Hello my name is Juan Merodio and
Welcome to a new video if you
first time and want to learn all
digital marketing tricks and how
being an entrepreneur successful subscribe to
my channel for me an indispensable thing
for a business to go for good
way is knowing organize and harness
both your time and the team that
muchas ocasiones fijamos objetivos mal
retrasando ciertas acciones o tareas
porque no se consideran relevantes en
base a unos indicadores totalmente
presenciales libros ebooks podcast
gusta y suscríbete a mi canal si yo creo
no tengáis ninguna duda y buscar
vale entonces a mí me gusta mucho esa
aparece publicidad esa mismo producto

How to Revive Your Sales Business and Focus on What Matters | #TomFerryShow - Duration: 12:15.
- Hey is your business kinda feeling like
boop, boop, boop, basically flatline?
Watch this show and let's resuscitate, bam, your business.
(rock music)
Welcome to the Tom Ferry Show.
Today I wanna speak to you if you're
slightly behind in your goals,
if you're staring down the barrel of this year
and you're asking yourself, what do I have to do
to turn this thing around?
Now, if you're one of my rockstar clients
and you're absolutely on fire, the good news is
the same strategies will apply but it's a different mindset.
Consider the following, if you're following me on
YouTube or Facebook or Instagram or Twitter or Snapchat
I get a lot of DMs from people, you know,
newer agents, experienced agents, a lot of veterans
right now that are saying to me,
"Tom, I just feel like I'm missing a piece of the market,
"like these new companies, these disruptors,
"these, you know, these new agents are coming in
"and they're gobbling up a piece of the action.
"What do you recommend I do?"
And that's what I wanna share with you today.
So here's what I wrote down, you ready?
Do you wanna have an extraordinary second half of the year?
It's time to get back to being
an appointment-setting machine.
Now I know as I say that, you're like,
"Well who do I call and what do I do?"
I gotcha covered.
Now the good news is, there's gonna be some people
watching this that know exactly what I'm talking about
'cause I put them on this personal path
of setting a 30-day challenge to book
more appointments than they've ever booked in their life.
Caveat, you ready?
Even a lousy appointment is better
than sitting inside your office.
You with me on this?
So for some of you, you might have to
open up the parameters of what an appointment is.
For some of my clients, especially if
they're just trying to rebound
and get themselves back in the game,
I might say to them, "An appointment
"is a meeting with someone that you like
"that can have a positive impact on your business."
So that could be an influential friend,
that could be with a past client over a coffee,
it could be with your loan officer
or your insurance broker, people that know other people
that might be able to refer you to somebody else.
For others, it's gonna be a listing opportunity,
a buyer lead, a showing appointment.
You decide how you want it to be.
So you ready?
I wanna coach you, this is the plan, here we go.
I write down if you wanna crush the second half of the year
take on a 30-day appointment-setting challenge.
So what I wrote down for you, number one is
you wanna decide on a goal and get very clear.
Remember you can't say, "You know,
"I wanna set more than I've ever, you know, set before."
No you need to say, "I wanna set 15,"
"I wanna set 20," "I wanna set 25,"
"I wanna set 30 appointments in the next 30 days."
The key to this is it's gotta be
a stretch and attainable.
It's gotta be a stretch, little outside
of your comfort zone, forcing you to push a little harder,
do a little bit more but also attainable.
You know, don't say 125 'cause there
just isn't enough time in the day.
So that's number one.
Decide how many appointments you're going to book.
Number two, this is where the nitty gritty is,
I want you to schedule 10 appointment-setting
opportunities Monday through Friday.
So hear me out, two a day at nine o'clock to eleven o'clock
in your calendar Monday through Friday, it's there,
and from four to six, Monday through Friday.
So you've got 10 opportunities in your calendar
every week to go out, to do some lead generation,
to do your follow up and to schedule appointments.
Now here's the catch, I only want you to do five.
Just do five of those sessions.
Just five of those sessions.
Now you and I both know if we just stop there,
if you just got a goal, put it up, made it visual,
something you were inspired by,
something that you knew you had to do
and you just put it in your schedule
and followed it, you know you're gonna win.
But I have a few more suggestions.
Number three, I wrote down, create a competition.
It's fascinating to me, I think about
so many clients that I've worked with that have
said to me, "Tom, my business is behind, what do I do?"
And I'm like, "Have a competition."
"Tom, I'm having the best month ever,
"what do I do next month?"
"Have a competition."
"Tom, my sales people are brand new, what do I do with 'em?"
"Have a competition."
The answer for you and I is always
to create competition that spurs
the right activity and the right behavior.
So what if you took four of you inside the office,
you and three of your pals and you said,
"You two versus us two, or each of us individually,
"everybody put in 20 bucks, whoever
"schedules the most takes the cash."
It's never gonna be about the money.
I've watched people book 15, 20, 30 appointments,
make more calls, follow up on more leads
than they ever thought they could just for 20 bucks, right?
Here's the reality, my friends,
we wanna spur out that competitive nature in you
and get you focused on doing the right activities.
Plus, you get the power of the mob, right?
Three, four, five, six, eight of you.
I work with companies, the entire company,
1700 agents will take on this methodology.
And guess what, they're doing all the business.
The brand new agents to the veteran rockstars.
So that's number three.
Number four, I wrote down,
is to remember the power of focus.
So I've got this little circle graph over here
and what you're gonna see is obviously,
we wanna hit the bullseye, which is signed contracts.
The challenge though, my friends,
the challenge is that would be
the ultimate lagging indicator.
We ask ourselves,
what is the most important leading indicator?
What's the cause that creates that effect?
So I've been teaching this for years,
trying to help people understand the power of right focus.
So we know when you walk in the office every single day,
whatever happens, right, to you is gonna direct the day.
So we have to be in control of our focus
and not allow us to be reacting to what's happening
but instead walk in with a plan.
So just consider the following, ready?
Some people get wrapped up in drama
and when they get wrapped up in drama,
they're probably not gonna make their phone calls,
follow up on leads, and achieve
the kinda success that you desire.
Some people, you know what they do?
They spend time getting organized,
you know, "I've gotta move the papers around my desk
"and until I get the new app on my phone,"
and what this is, my friends, is call avoidance.
You with me?
Like I know plenty of successful people
that have a yellow notepad even in 2018, and you know what?
Their leads are on there and they just call 'em.
So let go of the organization for a little bit.
That's probably what's stopping you
from achieving your potential.
So drama, organization, those two can gobble up our time,
we don't wanna go there, but then you finally say,
"That's it, I gotta make my calls," right?
Or "I gotta do my marketing,
"I gotta send my emails, do my mailers."
But the problem is you're still spending time
way outside of where we wanna be on the circle.
So maybe you finally say, "Wait a minute, Tom, I get it.
"It's a leads business, you told me
"that the business is math, the more leads I get,
"the more appointments I get, you know,
"the more sales I make."
Right, except in this case, for this 30-day window,
where do we wanna focus?
Right there, appointments.
I want you to say to me,
"I'm a lean, mean, appointment-setting machine."
"I'm a lean, mean, appointment-setting machine."
And when you adapt that mantra,
when you adopt that mantra and you take that on
for 30 days, I promise you, my friend,
your business is going to shift in the right direction
and I don't care how bad it was,
I know this, success begets success.
The more you do the right activities,
the more appointments you go on,
someone is going to say yes, someone is going to say yes.
You with me on this?
And remember even a lousy appointment
is better than you sitting inside your office
doing nothing, you with me on this?
So again, we wanna focus on the power of right focus
and the question we wanna ask ourselves
every day in the morning is,
who can I bring value today by scheduling an appointment?
Who can I bring value to today by scheduling an appointment?
Who can I bring value to today
by scheduling an appointment with them?
Now it could be a past client, a friend,
an old buyer, someone that's been thinking about selling,
someone that doesn't know what to do,
should they refinance, should they redo their house,
you know, "Should we redo our backyard
"or should we sell it?"
There's a lot of confusion in the marketplace right now.
A lot of people are, you know the market's good,
home values are great, interest rates are they going up?
With all this confusion, boy I tell ya,
if you sat down as a professional
and shared your professional opinion
about what they should do in this economy,
that's a valuable appointment.
So let me give you a little bonus tip
and then a few thoughts around who you should be calling.
Bonus tip, I wrote down again, remember
even a lousy appointment is better than sitting
inside your office playing Clash of Clans.
You with me on this?
Now, some lead priorities.
Clash of Clans got a shout out on the Tom Ferry Show.
Lead priorities, number one I wrote down, old leads.
You should email or text every old lead the following,
"Hey are you still planning to buy or sell in 2018?"
That simple script used in email and/or text
is still the very best script you can send
to sort of resuscitate, right,
to use a metaphorical defibrillator, boink,
and bring 'em back to life, that's what we wanna do.
So if you have a hundred old leads,
don't send all 100 at once.
I'd rather you use Seth Godin's methodology of ME-mail
and actually say, "Hey Jillian, thinking about you.
"Are you still thinking about buying or selling,"
you know buying, selling, whatever it is, "in 2018?"
And make it personal, you with me on this?
Rather than just sending out a hundred
or 500 depending upon the size of your database.
So that's number one to generate
some good positive buzz and activity.
Number two, I wrote down,
and you've heard me say this before,
it is bananas, every time we do a Sales Edge,
the extraordinary Bill Pipes will say,
"I want you guys right now to get out your phone
"and shoot this video or, at the minimum,
"send it in a text," where you say, you ready?
To your past clients, to your sphere,
to your past clients and sphere, you ready?
You text 'em, "Hey name," make it personal,
"I'm working with a ton of buyers
"and there's no great homes for sale.
"I'm curious, have you had any thoughts of selling?"
"Hey name," make it personal, right?
Like, "Hey Richard," right?
"I'm working with a ton of great buyers,
"there's no nice homes for sale.
"I'm just curious, have you had any thoughts of selling?"
And whether you put that in text and send it to 'em
or you put it in a video and send it to 'em,
you know what my friend,
you're going to have some conversations,
you're gonna engage people and it's fantastic
at Sales Edge, when he does this,
the number of people that come back
the next morning and go, "I got a listing lead,
"I got an appointment."
Sure, maybe they sent 15 or 20 texts
but isn't that the right thing to do to get that business?
Make sense?
Then I wrote down, obviously, number three.
You know, expireds, FSBOs, open houses,
Zillow leads, on and on and on.
There's no wrong way, my friends, to generate appointments.
The key for you is it's just doing the activity.
It's focusing on what it is that you want,
achieving that goal, that stretch goal, right,
setting that new bar, creating that next
personal best for you, and when you do this,
again that defibrillator, let me tell ya,
if your pulse in real estate is boop, boop, boop,
and it's time to get that thing moving,
here's what I know, bam, a whole bunch
of appointments, that's what's gonna make it happen.
So I can't wait to read your comments.
Let me know who you're gonna do the competition with,
let me know what your goal is,
let me know what your personal best is,
and then get it up, get it visual and let's have
the second half of the year start out
extraordinarily well because of
this appointment-setting challenge.
Thank you so much for watching.
Remember always, your strategy matters
and now more than ever, your ability
to set appointments is what rules the day.
Hey I'm Tom Ferry and I wanna say welcome to real estate.
Now there's a pretty good chance no one's told you
there's an 87% failure rate every five years
in this business and there's only two factors.
Agents don't have the tools
and they don't take the right action.
I'm gonna invite you to click the link below
and get access to the tools so you can win in this business.

The often overlooked part of your customer's journey that turns them into raving fans! - Duration: 10:58.
Hey friends! We are jumping into stage number two of the sellers journey.
This is a realtor who is selling somebody's home and the journey they put
him on. We've talked to stage number one. We've talked about ways to just get
discovered online and offline. We talked about that first meeting. Now we're here
with stage number two, the relationship building stage.
My name is Shana Anderson-Nute and I'm the President of Spitfire Advertising and we
help our clients grow their business through growing and building
relationships. We use branded items a lot of times for the vehicle for that but we
have other tricks up our sleeve as well. The relationship building stage.
You've already met with them for the first time and you've already answered
the majority of their questions that they had about their home going up for
sale. Also if you're not in real estate it doesn't mean that you shouldn't watch
this because you're going to find tips that will help you with your business too.
Let's think about how your customer is feeling right now. It's really important
for us to always put ourselves in our customers shoes and think about their
experience. How are they feeling? You know what, they're feeling much calmer. They're
excited because you have helped them. You can answer their question. They feel
like they're making the right decision. I know this was probably my favorite part
of the journey with buying and selling my homes, this is middle section. Think
about how they're feeling. Think about how you can position yourself as the
expert and to continue nurturing them nurture them online and offline. Have a
system that you have that you can just be in front of them and online make a
custom Facebook feed. A lot of people don't know this. When you jump on
facebook, you're overwhelmed with whatever Facebook wants to shove at you.
Creative custom Facebook feed with your top ten clients, with your prospects, with
whoever that is that you want to pay special attention to at the time and you
can move people on and off the feed. If you go to the Facebook,
you're going to find where it says "Feeds" this one's on your phone it's a
little different on your computer but I know most people are doing phones so I'm
showing you this.It says feeds go there and you can create a custom feed
and you can nurture them. Jump on two times a week, three times a week, for five
minutes on this custom feed where you can go on and you're just checking them
out, seeing what they're doing, have that conversation, and try to move that
conversation offline as much as possible at least off the feed because
remember relationships are built offline much easier than they are online. If your
new prospect is stalled and they have not signed the listing agreement. Then
what can you do to get that to happen? Give them an incentive. That incentive
can be whatever you want it to be. All you're saying is if you sign this
listing agreement by this day then you will receive this. I suggest a branded
item these sort of good ones to do for it a little higher end higher perceived
value but it's also a win-win for you because right now in this journey that
they're on they're talking to their friends, their family members, their
co-workers, they're talking to a lot of people about the experience they're
going through. They're talking about you. What can you do to get in front of them
to incentivize them and then your branding on that item helps them market
your business for you so you don't have to do as much, right? Isn't that awesome?
It's a win-win! Now they've signed the listing agreement. Yes! I know that's
what you wanted. What are you going to give them? An open house checklist. For me
I wanted to help my realtor sell my home. I wanted to help create this experience
with so when they walked in my home that people were excited. They enjoyed it with
all the senses because attracting people with all the different senses really
helps with the experience. Instead of just telling your client and having on
your checklist, put your laundry away, write down your counters, vacuum, the
normal stuff have on their things for the senses. Like what should the house
smell like? Should it be candles? Should it be baked cookies? What is that aroma? Is
there something you want them to have out by the front door so it's the first
impression they have something that's memorable. Do you want flowers out? What
will help create this experience for the people who are walking through the open
house? That's what you want to make sure you have on this open house checklist
too on top of the regular things. As the realtor, I know right now you are working
on scheduling the open houses and you have the other things you need to do
along with your postcards. This is a realtor kit that we
can do for you to help you. This is our just listed open house kit. We can
help with the postcards, the open house checklist. I want you to also think
about the open house. The open house is a great way for you to get new clients. I
got my realtor that we bought our house with through an open
house. We happen to walk in. He was amazing.
We connected. He not only was the one who sold our house, he sold my sister her
house too. What are you doing to get people to remember you, to get engaged
with you, at the open house, and to have the bread crumb in their hand. They're
also using to market your business for you. Have a giveaway for the adults and
the children, both. What are you doing at the open house to get them engaged with
you? Are you doing a raffle prize? Are you doing a prize wheel? Are you doing a
trivia contest? And whenever possible post the winner on social media, not at
the open house or don't be quiet about who won. Post it on social media. You're
driving them to your social media. Go check out on a certain day at a certain
time look and see if you won. Whether they're you know encourage them, Like our
page, right? Encourage them! Start talking to them. Engage with them so you can take
that conversation offline and build the relationship. Of course the prize
winner we always do something that's fun and branded because that's important for
you and your marketing like we had talked about. You know what? I missed
the neighbors. I know a lot of Realtors tell me that they go see the neighbors
and they invite them to the open house. I must be living in the wrong
neighborhoods because I've never had somebody come and invite me to an open
house or having and I wouldn't like that. I'm interested in seeing what's the
inside of my neighbor's house looks like. We just went and visited one around the
corner. Of course nobody invited us because eventually we want a one-story
house and so we wanted to see what does a one-story house will look like in this
neighborhood because we love the neighborhood we live in but we had no
idea. Potentially somebody will have a house that they're going to be selling
us in the future. Okay now this is a time that you've built the
relationship enough that you're asking for referrals. I know a lot of people
don't like to ask for referrals face-to-face. I get it. I don't like it
either. So we've created a kit that is fun, it's memorable, you can mail it out,
and it rewards your clients along the way for doing them. Now the house is on
the market. This is where it's really important that you're building the
relationship. This is where I had two fabulous Realtors. I got really lucky. I
had great people totally knowledgeable like I cannot complain about you the
realtor I had for buying or selling my house but my realtor that I bought my
house with, he just took off he was just like a genius at building the
relationships. He was doing these little extra touches. That basically felt like
he was turning us and I wasn't even realize it was happening as
it was happening but it was turning us from being client vendor to friends. I
remember one day he called me. We talked on the phone for say an hour and I
remember thinking we've talked about everything and anything and he hasn't
told me why he called. I said hey Donnie why did you call? He said to check
in on you, see how you're doing, make sure everything's going better, going well for
you, and getting to know you better. I thought so this just isn't a transaction
for you. Like you see us as human, as people, and you're really interested in
us and our needs.I was amazed by that
and when we were signing our closing documents, my husband looked at me and he
said do you think we're ever going to talk to Donnie again because I really like
him. I want to have a moment for barbecues, I want to hang out with him. I
said I know me too. I said he's not just going to leave us now that that house is
done and he hasn't he stays in touch all the time. He's always maling out his
realtor stuff, then picking up a phone, and calling me, shooting me an
email. The other day I was walking in my neighborhood and he lives close by and I
had a bright pink shirt on. All of sudden my phone rings,
pick it up and he said I live in an HOA by the way so cute thing you know they
have stricter rules. I pick up the phone and he said did you know that the
HOA rules said you cannot wear a hot pink shirt and I was like where are you?
How do you see me right now? You just started laughing and I started
laughing. He's got a great personality but he's built this relationship. Make
sure you're doing those extra touches too. Now the offer has been accepted.
That's exactly what you want. Now you have built this relationship and it's
time to move into stage number three which we're going to do on the next video.
So make sure you join us there. Share this out if you think anybody you know
will find value in it. Share this out on social media if you want to help us to
help more people especially if you're in the real estate industry. This can help

Bye!

When We're Too Busy For Self Care - Duration: 3:37.
Hi everyone Justine Froelker here and it's Take Care Tuesday it's summer it's
summer! and you are going crazy with your weird scheduled outings traveling and
things like that and I'm asking you to still take care of yourself let's talk
okay so I know summer is crazy in reality you're really not that much
busier than you usually are I mean busy is just busy I think the older we get
the busier we get it just it's not going to be calm and less busy unless you
actually put that into your life unless you schedule in whitespace and breaks
and rest so I want to encourage you as crazy as it might feel this summer where
can you literally schedule in I'll say seven minutes because I've got the seven
minute happy challenge starting again on the 11th but I would love to say 5 to 15
minutes a day every day preferably something in the morning and something
before bed to take care of yourself to wind down to fill up this does not mean
you binge on TV or wine or beer or sweets
that's numbing for most of us I mean you can still have some wine and some sweets
and I still like a good Netflix show once in a while but I check my intention
when I am doing those things if I am looking to escape, numb out, avoid, then
that's numbing it's not working it's not filling myself
back up if it's to like relax and fill up
that's self-care sure to like a fly on the wall it looks exactly the same but
knowing my intentions that's an intentional gut check okay you know the
truth call yourself out on that I want you this summer instead of being really
tired and sluggish and not staying on track with your food and your exercise
and your self-care and running everywhere and sitting lots of time in the sun
which is great to a degree and feeling just ragged what if you actually said
this summer I'm going to take more breaks I'm going to take care of myself
because when I do that I can serve and pour into the people that I love more
because you can if you don't choose yourself first you cannot choose anyone
else I don't care if you don't think you're worth it I don't care if you
don't love yourself enough what I want you to do is to do the
practices and the actions of self-love which is self-care and of course if you
want up some help and accountability and community around it my 777
Happy Challenge starts again on June 11th you can join it any time though
we're gonna be running it all summer long multiple times it's seven days
seven minutes and it's seven bucks ok so join us it's really been amazing work so
far as always thanks for being here and I will see you next week for Take Care
Tuesday, Therapy Thursday, Faith Wrestle Friday and don't forget to subscribe to
my channel and click the bell for notifications so you never miss an
upcoming video and as always please I would greatly appreciate if you shared
this with someone you love thanks so much
