Hey guys! It's Brigette, welcome back to my channel
if you are a new viewer or just stumbled upon my video
welcome to my channel
in this video, i'm going to be doing a smoldering smokey eye
makeup tutorial
this makeup look is going to be perfect for any
special occasion, if you would like to see how I created
this look right here, go ahead and keep watching
peek-a-boo! For special occasions
like this I'd like to make sure my skin is nice
and prepped. I'm using the Derma E
firming magnetic clay mask
this mask is supposed to help my skin appear more
firmer lifted and smoother the magnetic
properties help pull out the impurities
in my skin making my skin appear more plumper
so it says to leave the mask on for 10 to 15 minutes
or until it's dry rinse off with warm water and follow up
with a moisturizer and toner
I just washed off my mask I'm gonna go in with
the it cosmetics miracle water
it's a 3-in-1 glow tonic, this one is a
skin brightening radiance booster
anti-aging treatment essence
and skin softening micellar cleanser
I'm just gonna remove any excess masks that I
have on my face this is also gonna help the moisturizer
penetrate deeper into my skin
after applying the IT cosmetics miracle water
I'm going to apply the IT Cosmetics Secret Sauce
anti-aging moisturizer
and it's in a gorgeous holographic bottle
love it so I'm just gonna take a little bit of it and just
work it into my skin
the next thing we're gonna do is make sure my lips
are nice and hydrated. I'm using my usual
IT cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Rose lip balm
before I apply my foundation I'm going to apply the
Make Up For Ever Step 1 Smoothing Primer
just gonna apply this primer onto places where I get
a little oily and have some visible pores
for this makeup look, I'm gonna go a little more
full coverage on my foundation
I'm going to be using two shades from the
PUR Cosmetics Bare It All Skin Perfecting Foundation
It's the shades Light Tan and Tan
so with this foundation, it's super full coverage
so a little goes a very long way
it's actually a little thicker than most foundations
so you're gonna have to work in layers
I'm going to use the mixing tool to dot it on my face
so with this foundation, it's a little bit thicker so
I would suggest using a more dense brush
to blend this out and I'm going to be using the morphe M444
I'm just gonna do half my face first
just so you can see the
coverage of this foundation
so this is how it looks after blending out the foundation
I do have freckles or sun spots here
and texture that it covered extremely well
this is the reason why I chose to use this
for my nighttime/going out makeup
I'm gonna go in with my Beauty Blender and just
take off any excess product that's sitting on my face
so after blending out my foundation
I'm gonna go in with my concealer
and the concealer I'm going to be using is
Urban Decay all nighter waterproof full coverage concealer
In my previous video, I did a get ready with me /
first impressions and this
Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Concealer
was one of the products I tried for the first time
I've been using this concealer every day since then so
with this concealer I'm just gonna apply it in layers
because it does dry fairly quickly
I'm just going to go in with my Beauty Blender
and just blend that all out
3 strokes here and then whatever's
excess on my doe foot applicator on my nose
to set my foundation, I'm going to be using the
MAC Prep and Prime Translucent Powder
what I like to do is take a little bit of product
on my fluffy brush
tap off the excess and then just pat it on my skin
I don't really like to sweep the powder on my face
because I don't want to move the foundation underneath
I just like to do patting motions back and forth
and then I'm going to do the other side
so for under my eyes, I like to add a little extra powder
just to make sure my concealer does not move at all
just gonna take a more dense brush
and use it under my eyes
after this powder, I usually go ahead and finish my brows
so I'm going to be using the
Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil
andI'm gonna go ahead and fill it in with the
Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Brow Palette
My brows are on
and I'm going to be setting it with the
IT Cosmetics brow power pomade
I've also used this in my last Get Ready With Me video
I liked it because of how small the brush was
the eyeshadow palette that I'm going to be using today
is brand new to me... it's the
pur cosmetics x etienne eyeshadow palette
the first shade I'm going to go in with is Stripped
and just apply it all over my lids
I'm doing this to give my eyeshadows an even base
I'm going to be using the shade Popular
I'm just gonna work it socket
I'm doing windshield wiper motions or
or back and forth motions
like little rainbows, whatever you want to call it
since I'm going to do a smoldering kind of look
gonna take the shade bossy
I'm just going to apply it on my eyelids
so I'm doing both tapping motions and sweeping motions
on my eyes it's usually whatever I feel like doing
I'm going to take that same brush that we use for the crease
with nothing on it I'm just gonna go ahead and blend out
the edges...
I'm going to smoke out my eyes a little more
and I'm going to take the shade Muddy
take a little bit of it on the tips of my brush
tap off the excess and I'm going to work it
right on the outer corner of my eye here
I want most of my concentration on the outer part
of my eye
I'm just going to mark where I want it
what I'm going to do is do little "pac man" shapes
like an outside "V"
and just work it on the outer part of my eye socket
whatever's left on my brush I'm not gonna dip it back in
but I'm gonna pull into the socket of my eye
same thing with the other side
place it right on the outer part of my eye
where I want it and just do little Pac-Man shapes
or outside V's
and whatever is excess, pull right into the rest of the socket
I'm going to use the shade Midnight
this is like a nice blue shade
I'm just goig to work a little bit of it right underneath
with this eyeshadow look I feel like I can go a little
deeper now and I'm gonna take the shade
3AM, this is a black matte shade
just work it on the outer corners of my eyes
I'm not going to do the entire section that I did
with the muddy shade
I'm just going to take a little bit of it on the outer corners
just feather it in
okie dokie!
remember that first transition shade we used?
in the shade Popular?
I'm going to use that shade and the shade Adobe
mix those two and I'm just gonna work it right back into my socket
just to make sure everything looks blended and even
for special occasions, I like to tightline my eyes
with the Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel in number 77
I'm taking a super detailed pencil brush
and I'm just going to work that into my waterline
I'm also gonna tightline with it
I just tightlined my eyes with the Inglot Eyeliner
and I'm gonna go ahead and just line my eyes
now that my eyeliner is done I'm gonna take a fluffy brush
and sweep off the excess product I have under my eyes
and then I'm going to apply some mascara
I'm gonna be using the Lancome Definicils mascara
if you don't wear false lashes, you can skip this step
and just apply your bottom mascara
I'm just applying my glue to my false lashes right now
we're going to let it sit for a few seconds
I'm gonna bronze my face
I'm going to be using the PIXI x Maryam Maquillage
aka MaryamNYC
I'm going to be using her Glow and Bronze Palette
and I'm just gonna bronze my face
and if you don't know where to bronze your face,
you're just going to do 3's and E's
that's the most simplist way to explain how to bronze your face
so you're going to create a 3 and an E
so the glue is about tacky and
and I'm just going to place it on my eyes
and I forgot to mention that I've using the
PUR Cosmetics Pro Eyelashes and this time its Diva
before I apply mascara on my lower lashline
and touch up my eyes
I'm going to be using the Laura Geller
Beach Matte Hydrating Bronzer in Sunset Deep
I'm just going to take a little bit of it
on a small flat brush I'm just gonna
gonna focus it right under my cheekbones
after applying the product here, I'm just going to
do circular motions just to blend the product out
and if you're not comfortable doing circular motions
I would suggest doing upward motions
back and forth just like this
and I'm going to do the other side
I forgot to mention that when I start contouring
I start on the back closer to my ear
that way most of the concentration of the product
I put down is back here
and not like in the middle of my cheeks
I'm just gonna sweep a little on my forehead
a little by my temples
and just a smidget on my jawline
and for my nose contour, I use the same brush
over and over again, and this is the
Kat Von D number 40
I'm just going back and forth with the product
to make my nose appear a little more narrow
once I'm done contouring my nose
I use the same brush I used to sweep off the excess powder
under my eyes and I just blend it out
when I have a lot of eye makeup on, I go very light
handed with my blush
the shade I'm about to use next
isn't a blush, but I'm still going to be using the
PIXI x Maryam Maquillage
I'm gonna be taking that coral shade
I'm going to take a little bit onto my fluffy brush
and just apply it to the apples of my cheeks
I'm going to use the other two highlighting shades
I'm just going to mix the two
I'm going to use it to highlight my cheekbones
so it's like a nice subtle highlight
and whatever is excess on the brush
just put it right on my cupid's bow and my chin
for my nose highlight, I always use the same brush
and it's the Cozzette S185
and I just take it right on the bridge of my nose
and I take the same highlighters, mix them together
and do a little bit right under the brow bone
and just a tad bit on the sides on my forehead
we're almost done
let me finish my eyes, I'm going to do a little bit of
mascara on my lower lash line
now that I've completed my eyes
I'm going to set my face with the MAC Fix Plus in Rose
let's move on to the lips
I'm going to be using the Hourglass Panoramic
longwear lip liner in the shade Eden
now that I've applied my lip liner I'm going
to take the KKW by Kylie cosmetics
Creme Liquid Lipstick in the shade Kimmie
and apply that all over my lips
so this is the completed look
