Introduction adjustable foreend mechanism Rowan Engineering - Hamster Rink Formgriffe - Duration: 4:42.

Hi! Nice of you to drop by! Today I would like to present you again some products

from the range of accessories. I've been getting a lot of attention lately.

and asked to just take a look at my air rifles.

or my equipment that belongs to me personally a little bit more exactly

to introduce. And today I have two parts for

I'd like to show you.

Here you can see my Anschütz 9015 with the ONE stock currently installed. And there

I've added a Rowan Engineering adjustable foreend mechanism and

a hamster or small boat from Rink Formgriffe. This is what

I'll show you a little bit more in the close-up later.

But what did I use it for? Especially the athletes from the field target sector know it.

anyway, for everyone else I just want to show the accessories for a short time.

Suppose you have a target on Field Target Lane that is relatively far above you,

it will be very difficult for you to reach this position in a sitting position.

This means that the forend is a bit too low for that shot in the end.

Rowan Engineering has produced the adjustable foreend mechanism for this purpose.

And as is the case with ingenious products, you only realize that they are ingenious when you take them in your hand,

and they immediately understand how easy it is to use.

You see this one lever here, I'll adjust it,

and you already have the possibility to adjust the forearm mechanism to your liking.

Now I just put the lever back and the hamster is locked.

Now we can shoot comfortably uphill. Of course, you can get the raise

I can set it up just the way you want. I'll just show it again and I'll flip the lever,

depending on how you want to shoot, that leaves you completely free.

And then just go for the hit. For someone who is now working in the field target area

is not so experienced, it may seem a little exaggerated.

I thought it was a bit of an exaggeration at first.

Especially since it costs a few euros. But at the latest when you're on the lane,

and sit up in the tree, and lean back as far as you can,

and that's still not enough, then you realize

the sense of this forend raising. Now I'll show you the

Hamster from Rink Formgriffe. The

you really have to have a close look at each other. Cause that's an absolute

really awesome quality. I'm gonna do this a little elevated, and then we're gonna go

Let's get to the close-up. So, now you see here with a great checkering the

Forearm rest, i.e. hamster, i.e. shuttle.

You'll get this boat.

either at www.formgriffe.de or at Adam Benke's shop (www.benke-sport.de).

You can also get the Rowan forend raiser from Adam Benke in the shop,

or directly on www.rowan-engineering.com

There are different brackets. I've got the ones for the UIT rail.

The advantage, or the special thing about this is this quick-release fastener.

You can simply turn it on and then remove the hamster completely.

This fore-end raiser is also available with other brackets. Just have a look at www.rowan-engineering.com

Now you've already seen those two parts I wanted to show you.

I can recommend my Facebook page to you now: www.facebook.com/airghandi

There you will find news, videos 3x a week,

Short clips and pictures as well as interesting links.

There's a lot happening.

That's supposed to be it from my side. If you have any more questions, keep them here.

Then thank you for watching! See you next time! Servus says AirGhandi

BEST OF MAY! Inspiration & highlights ǀ May favorites ǀ Justine Leconte - Duration: 7:43.

Hi everyone, it's Justine.

New month, new "best of" video!

This is episode 3 in the series, and it's a mix of my highlights of the month AND yours.

If you've been following this channel for a little while, you know how this goes.

It's about things that inspired us, that we've done, that we've seen, that sparked

our imaginations… and that we want to share, here, once a month, with each other.

If you're new to this channel, welcome.

You will see very quickly how it works.

Let's go.

This month I went to see the leaning tower in Pisa, in Italy.

It is one of the most touristic places in Europe, it's very famous because it's

crooked.

When you enter the Square of Miracles through the gate, it's breath-taking.

The stones used for the buildings are white, so they reflect the sun of Tuscany, it's

absolutely wonderful.

On that square, you see a circle, or a baptistry, which goes with the cathedral next to it.

That's the main piece on the square.

There is a beautiful cemetery, and there's the tower… which was actually built as the

bell tower of the cathedral.

The tower, though, is the main attraction and here is why.

Construction starts in the 12th century.

The foundation is only 3 meters deep and the soil is soft and unstable.

So as soon as they add the first 2 floors, the tower starts to tilt.

Oops.

Then Pisa gets engaged in wars with the neighboring regions, so they just put the bells on the

3rd floor and basta: for 100 years, nothing happens...

Then they resume construction and instead of fixing the base, they keep building up

and they try to compensate for the tilt by making the upper floors taller on the tilted

side!

So the tower needed 200 years to be completed, and it was doomed to collapse eventually from

the very beginning.

In the 90's, it even was closed to the public cause they feared it might fall at any time.

They even made the people living close by move out of their houses.

That's how bad it was.

Then they kept searching, and they put together a team of international engineers, super experts

in their areas, and they found a solution.

They pumped out soil from under the higher side.

It's a bit like Jenga, you know that game?

You pull pieces out, and you hope the top is not gonna collapse on you.

It's the same principle.

In 2008, the tower was stable for the first time in it's history.

And it's now reopened to the public, so I went up, just in case they have to close

it again; we never know.

A tower in Abu Dhabi tried to challenge the first spot of Pisa as the most crooked tower

in the world, but it was decided that the tower in Abu Dhabi doesn't count, because

they built it crooked, and that's not ok, so Pisa remains super special.

"Design by accident" is a very interesting topic.

The tower of Pisa would be way less famous if it were straight.

Down below in the description I will link an article about inventions that were meant

to be something else in the first place, like microwave ovens, or post-it notes.

Did you know?

And more of that, just read the article below.

Now, one thing that truly changed my life this month.

These headphones are the ones that cancel/suppress outside noise.

They simulate the sound of silence.

I travel quite a bit.

I work in public places.

My neighborhood is quite loud, and I need silence to focus.

I like to work in silence.

Many of my friends had these before, and I always thought: they're too expensive, hmm.

And then one day, the school next to my house went wild, and my neighbor was listening to

techno music, and I just capitulated.

I got the headphones.

Yeah?

Imagine you're in an airport, super crowded, lots of noise, you can't make a phone call,

you can't focus.

You just put these on, yeah?

These headphones claim to be noise-canceling.

I'd go as far as to say "life-enhancing".

It's an investment in your peace of mind.

Then, let's talk about the MET, my favorite museum in New York.

You know about the MET Gala, I did a video about that recently.

It's linked here and down below in the description, where I reviewed the fashion on the red carpet.

Well, that MET Museum, just released many of its publications online, in color, completely

for free!

You can filter by theme, which means region of the world or a moment, an era, in history.

You can also filter by departments within the museum, and also by format: if you want

to read online, download the PDF and take it on holiday, etc.

For instance, I picked "Egyptian Art", because "Why not?" and I found a book

to learn hieroglyph calligraphy step-by-step.

I got lost in there.

We are talking about 1.5 thousand books for free.

Your private library just got a lot bigger, hasn't it?

The MET is making culture accessible to everyone with this, thank you so much for that.

And it was a tip from one of you, so thank you for sharing.

Moving on to the next highlight of the month: some of you have asked me where I think that

fashion and the fashion industry are going, in the future.

And I said I think that fabrics, the materials we use to make our clothes, will evolve dramatically.

Enter Lauren Bowker, who is trained both in chemistry and textile development, and she

held a TEDx Talk recently, reporting about her experiment combining both areas.

She designs clothes where the surface changes colors according to your environment.

For instance, pollution or wind.

And the garment actually reacts to things that you can't seen yourself.

She also designed a headpiece that wraps around the skull like this, that shows, through colors,

which parts of the brain are active at the given time, and you see it evolving, real time.

It's mind-blowing.

It's one of the most impressive TED talks I have ever watched: Lauren Bowker on intelligent fabrics.

One of your recommendations which I loved is the book "The Atlas of Beauty", by

Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc.

I hope I'm pronouncing her name correctly.

She portrayed, in over 50 countries, 500 women, in their natural environments, so each photo

tells the personality and the history of that women.

Each one has that look in her eyes that is so interesting, and so authentic, and the

setting, everything is perfect.

The photos are absolutely brilliant.

And there are also little comments next to the photos for a bit more context and authenticity.

It's very interesting usually.

For instance, that old lady that she met in Greece, the comment says "We couldn't

talk much because of the language barrier, but I gave her my business card and she gave

me a beautiful smile".

If you want more suggestions from other viewers, I encourage you to watch or re-watch the previous

episodes, linked here in the corner and down below in the description.

Also, feel free to take the time, reflect on your creative highlights of this month,

and share them with the rest of us… with me, with others, using the hashtag #CREATIVEHIGHLIGHTS

that you see on your screen right now.

Thumbs up if you enjoyed this video, thank you very much for all your support.

And if you're subscribed to this channel, I'll see you next week with a new video.

Take care.

Bye bye.

FACE - GOT7 (Edit) - Duration: 3:24.

You, these past few days, no, for quite a long time

I was wondering how you're doing, if you're doing well

I didn't know that

you're having a hard time, you gotta know

Now looking at it baby

There's so much I wasn't able to do for you

Hey, if it's not too late, hey, tell me what I gotta do

By my side, you need to be there

I'm missing your face, missing your face, only me

Your eyes that I saw, the lips that kissed me

I'm missing your face, I miss you dreadfully

Come back to me, remember

like the first time we promised, last forever

Want to walk the same road holding hands

We can last forever

Ain't nobody gonna stop us, so that it's forever

We can last forever

I don't want to be alone anymore

Only need you in my life, come back to me

sometimes I ask your friends

You aren't far away but why can't I see you why

People don't believe that something lasts forever

don't think about others

Memories just between us no filter

walking our way together

Finding you and my spotlight

Hey, if it's not too late, hey, tell me what I gotta do

By my side, you need to be there

I'm missing your face, missing your face, only me

Your eyes that I saw, the lips that kissed me

I'm missing your face, I miss you dreadfully

Come back to me, remember

like the first time we promised, last forever

If you trust me again

We can last forever

If you give me another chance

We can last forever

I know that you will think my words are self-centered

But still, just the slightest if

If you feel the same as me, tell me so I can hear it babe~

I'm missing your face, missing your face, only me

Your eyes that I saw, the lips that kissed me

I'm missing your face, I miss you dreadfully

Come back to me, remember

like the first time we promised, last forever

Want to walk the same road holding hands

Betfair trading - Two simple trades that anybody can do - Duration: 11:07.

so it's been another decent week on the markets I'm in a bit of a roll at the

moment which is good but there were two trades that I did this week that were

pretty simple to do than I think anybody can do you'll do it better if you've got

that angel now but I thought I would do a quick video to explain those two

trades and what was behind those two trades this week please like and comment

on the video below that will allow me to produce better quality videos and more

of them in the future if you're interested in learning to trade

successfully in sports then why not visit the BET angel' academy where we

have more detailed videos so very often trading doesn't need to be particularly

complicated and in fact there are a few things that you can do that are

relatively straightforward but where the skill comes is in the execution not the

actual trade setup itself it's in actually executing the trade and making

something of it when the situation occurs because opportunities occur all

of the time and repeating patterns you just need to be there to be able to do

something about it and to perhaps be able to jump in just before everybody

else realizes what is going on so the first trade was slightly unusual

have a look at this picture this was on Oaks Day I was the listed race towards

the end of the day but have a look at this picture of this particular race and

tell me what you see in this particular picture this is a

picture of the favorite and the favori is going to post his perfectly calm the

jockey has complete control so upon seeing this picture I initiated a trade

and when you look at horses and horse racing in general one of the

difficulties that you have one of the reasons that this is the hardest market

to crack from a betting perspective is there are so many variables it's so sort

of not random because nothing's totally random but there are so many inputs into

what the price really should be that very often it's difficult to work out

exactly what that price should be and one of the factors that you have to take

account of as the horses to me okay the horses run rope well it has a really

strong form line but you go to saddle up the horse and it

doesn't like it and you take it to the program and it's getting a bit tetchy

and then there's a problem going to post and therefore if you were going to put

your money down on a horse that exhibited that type of behavior you

probably wouldn't if you were a professional punter now your average Joe

doesn't know that they'll just have a tenner on the favour anyway especially

if they've had a few bears but your professional punter will be looking at

all of those characteristics to figure out whether the horse really merits his

money or not so when you look at that sort of thing you have to take account

of all of those particular factors and one of the factors that we're looking at

here manifests itself if I show you another image so when you look at this

screenshot again what you will see now is that we have two horses on this

particular screenshots and we've got the favour in front of it and are not horse

donor which one that is that's just sitting behind it but can you notice the

difference between the two of them because if you look at the favorite you

can see that its coat is very reflective and shiny and you look at the horse

behind it and it's horse is very matte and non reflective so what's going on

here well the favorite is sweating up and typically some horses exhibit this

characteristic per se but typically it's something that is not normal and when a

horse it starts to split up it's usually because it's anxious it's using up a bit

of energy and when you're looking at much much shorter races you want the

horse to have all of its energy ready to run that particular race you don't

really want it using an expending energy on the way to the start of the race

itself so just the shine on that coat tells you that it is sweating up and

there are obviously other signs as well that you can pick up on a horse to see

that it's sweating up you very often see dried sweat around the saddle cloths and

so on so it's a funny thing to be looking at however it can give you a

clue in the market as about as to what is happening or what is going to happen

next within the market because people that were going to put money on the

favorite probably won't do it if the favorite is sweating up so

they may just not back it any longer and you may actually find people come in and

act and actively lay the horse when it exhibits this sort of characteristic so

on this particular race you may have seen it in the market before yeah you're

busy trading something and then boom the price goes out and it may be if you're

not watching pictures this is exactly what's going on and in this particular

race that's exactly what happened when I see something like that then I'll

naturally lay the horse with the expectation that probably the backing

will dry up and in fact the price may start heading out in the other direction

so yeah if you see a horse that looks recalcitrant or there's a problem or

maybe it's sweating up in the way that you see with this particular runner then

it's probably an opportunity to definitely not back it but it may be a

lay opportunity in there as well and on this particular race that's exactly what

happened if we look at the graph on that particular race you can see immediately

the pictures became available and this was down to the split second that these

pictures became available everybody started laying it or not backing it it

was one of the two we can tell specifically which sometimes but you can

tell that basically the price was going to drift and that's what happened for

the rest of the race a little bit of support came back in because when it

reached post time it seems to be pretty calm but then a little bit of light

laying came in into the market from there but one thing that you wouldn't do

is you wouldn't be looking to back this horse with the hope that the price was

going to shorten if you're actively trading it and you saw that it was

sweating up and none of the other horses were then naturally you'd probably want

to lay on there or be on the lay side of that particular market so yeah a great

opportunity to lay the horse and back it at a higher price later on within the

market itself so if I wind you forward to Derby Day the Derby market was pretty

interesting this year very big market the biggest market that I've seen for

about ten years on the Derby most of that was due to the interest in the

favorite and the fact that it was that a shorter price so that tends to generate

volume anyway but I managed to pick off a pretty decent result from the Derby so

I always tend to do all of the Derby it's one of those big races the year

that I get excited about that I really want to get a decent total on so I'm

pleased that I managed to do this year but within that market there

were so many different aspects actually thought it's one of the more fascinating

markets that have been around this year but the opportunity I'd like to

highlight to you in this market was on has a poor so everything was going

pretty normally on has a poor and then all of a sudden boom the price goes

absolutely flying out now if you would have looked at has a poor on the way to

post here you would have noticed absolutely nothing he looks fine no

absolutely no particular reason for the price to go that mad when it does go mad

like that you sort of suspect that maybe there's you know a bot that has gone mad

and another one jumps in front of it and so on and then it did the market just

loses its marbles but it was a very very odd sort of market overall and has a

poor was a really sort of strange situation but of course upon seeing the

price start to go rocketing out I immediately turn my attention to the

pictures again to have a look and see if I could find where has a halt was

because maybe he was running off across the Epsom Downs somewhere and maybe that

was why his price would happen no he was absolutely fine there were no issues no

reason to think that the price would go out so that looks like a total anomaly

to me so when you see this in the market what you should do is as the price

starts flying out you try and catch it right at the top you put a couple of

orders in at a speculative price near the top of that or when you see the

price starting to head back in the other direction and then you trader out a much

much lower price so you tends to find these opportunities come around

completely at random and you may have even missed it within the market however

the tip that I can give you here is within betangel if you use the

automation or a servant you can actually get better angel to monitor how much a

price is moving and if it moves quite violently within a short period of time

bet angel can actually alert you to the fact that that has happened it can do

that by popping up a message on your screen or you can actually get it to

fire off a sound alert so I use the sound alert and often when you see me

trade in fact if you were to ever come here and watch me trade or look over my

shoulder or see me from a distance you will see I always have headphones on or

a loud speaker and that is because potential is pumping audio

alerts to me all of the time it's telling me things that are happening

within the market that I'm not necessarily looking at so today I get an

alert I've no idea what is going on particularly within the market but the

alert gets me interested in it I see that it has a port I have a look at how

the poor can't see anything wrong with the horse at all so I stick in a few

speculative back orders at the top end of the market and what happens next well

sure enough you know if if you're in the market and something that you were

trying to back is it at a low price it's sort of 15 s - 17 s and then you see it

available at 30 s what are you gonna do you're gonna back it the best available

price you can and arbres kick in and bookmakers and people hedging it and

people who can see the anomaly and then of course that brings the price all the

way back down to where it was from from from its extreme Heights so yeah that

was an opportunity that occurred in the Darby today completely unexpected

totally out of the blue and it does happen quite frequently one of the best

examples I can give you is this happens to modern big dude in the Grand National

a few years ago but yeah when the price spikes out unexpected like that and you

can see no cause and that's probably an opportunity to do a back to lay trade

within that market because you'll probably see the price come back at some

particular point any time it wouldn't do as we've learnt at the beginning of this

video is perhaps if there's something wrong with horse or the market doesn't

like it or perhaps it's running loose across the countryside but on this

occasion it wasn't everything looked fine so I just put in a few speculative

back orders and then waited for the price to revert back and in fact that's

you know one of the things that made a big contribution to my overall trade on

the Derby this year but anyhow two little tips there for you both of which

are equally valid and that I trade it this week easy to understand and if you

want to get the best out of a piece of software like bet Center set it up to

look for those sort of opportunities within the market as well but yeah

decent Derby decent result overall this week and I can't wait for the next big

meeting

Tom Cruise playing Tom Cruise - Duration: 6:16.

I can't accurately pinpoint the exact memory where I realized the guy I'm watching on

the screen is one of the biggest movie stars in the world.

But if I had to pick a moment, it was probably when the first Mission Impossible came out

and I saw Tom Cruise in some of the craziest scenes that you could only see in a Tom Cruise

movie.

To elevate the whole essence of it all, you can never forget the movie's opening sequence

overlapped with the main music score of the film produced by the U2 band members Larry

Mullen Jr. and Adam Clayton which was an electronic dance version of the original theme heard

in the Mission Impossible TV Series that laid the foundation of a billion dollar franchise

with Cruise at the helm.

The movie became the third highest grossing film of the 1996 and the music score itself

dominated the top-ten list of music charts around the world and bagged a Grammy nomination

to wrap it all up.

A lot of people would put up the case that it was actually Top Gun that catapulted Tom

Cruise into stardom and they would be absolutely right.

Top Gun only catapulted him into a bankable status, it didn't solidify him as the face

we know today.

Top Gun was the slow and gradual beginning of the road leading him up to play a young

selfish wheeler dealer with an unusually gifted brother to a real life paralyzed soldier to

a hot headed inexperienced lawyer and finally donning the persona of a secret agent that

made us realize we've been connecting to this guy for the past decade and will continue

to see ourselves in his shoes for the many more years to come.

If you strip away all of the filmography except his action flicks, you'll begin to see a

pattern, the pattern of donning these roles with a sense of pride, which begs the question

of why Tom Cruise looks like he enjoys taking so much pride in portraying these characters

that the world can rely on?

Tom grew up in near poverty, in a house dominated by his abusive father who in his own words

'was a merchant of chaos.'

He elaborated his experience of getting beaten up by his father further describing him as

a bully and a coward, the kind of person who, if something goes wrong, would take all of

his frustration out on you.

Tom described these childhood years as a great lesson in his life as to how his father would

lull him in, make him feel safe and then in an instant would drift apart from what Tom

needed his father to be.

He didn't trust him and would always be careful around him.

All the horror occurring in his life, Tom suffered from dyslexia, incapacitating him

from living a normal childhood and coupled with the father problems, he aspired to be

a Catholic priest.

Even though he had a Catholic upbringing, his aspiration to becoming a priest didn't

work out as he chose to make a career in football after playing for the varsity team in his

senior year before an injury cut him out of this option.

All of this madness finally lead him to landing a bit part in a novel based romantic drama

which then paved his way to a narrative now known as a generation X classic and a career

maker for Tom Cruise at the same time.

This is where Mr. Cruise found himself, what he was meant to do, what he was meant to be.

A lot of people bring out the criticism that Tom Cruise simply looks like playing Tom Cruise

in all of his pictures, but these critiques couldn't be more wrong to the point where

Tom playing a role in one of his greatest hits, Interview with the vampire based on

a best-selling novel, writer Anne Rice was publicly negative about Tom being cast in

the film.

But once she saw what Tom brought to the screen, she went on record with her praise for Tom's

performance in a two page segment for Daily Variety and apologizing for her doubts about

what he brings to the table.

Tom brings an unparalleled amount of relatability where he makes it look deceptively simple

transforming from a glossy 35 year old sports agent to a misogynist motivational speaker

to a profane ill-tempered studio executive all the while moving back and forth between

his action flicks.

Steer further into his personal space and you'll see the absurdities leveling themselves

against the man's religion.

Scientology's controversies are no longer unspoken, but should we try to separate his

success from what are, after all, his religious convictions?

The book, Going Clear, and the subsequent HBO documentary deconstructs the methods and

origin of Scientology, so we want to focus instead upon the ways the church has influenced

and affected Cruise's career and what that means for us as consumers to invest in his

work.

To Cruise, scientology is a spiritual system that promises the greatest cures for the greatest

ailments, and it's easy to see how his own personal struggles lead him to believe this

as he credits the church for help with overcoming his dyslexia.

Whatever conclusion you make up about Tom Cruise, do yourselves a favor, go back to

watching this scene and tell me you don't get the urge to be this guy who feels the

thrill of the harsh wind rushing through the veins of his face.

This guy right here, is the guy who when the times calls for it, can do anything that he

wants to do, this guy right here when the time calls for it, can be anything that he

wants to be.

Curing Blindness Can Only Take 5 Minutes, Thanks to This Revolutionary Method - Duration: 5:13.

Eyes are incredible and complex creations.

To see, light is focused by the cornea, passes through a clear lens and is encoded by the

retina, which sends electrical impulses to the brain.

But if you have a cataract, proteins on the lens start to cloud together, creating blurry

vision.

For over 20 million people, this is how they see the world.

Cataracts are the leading cause of blindness globally.

"Blindness affects your life expectancy.

You become a hangout, you become an appendage for the family.

And then you become an economic burden."

But thanks to a revolutionary surgical method, sight can be restored in just under five minutes.

The small incision surgery is generally a very cost effective, and simple manual technique

to remove cataract and still give the patient comparable results.

For over 20 years, Dr. Sanduk Ruit pioneered a surgical method and his team of doctors

have performed over 600,000 surgeries.

In just five minutes, surgeons make a tiny incision in the eye, remove the cataract and

insert an artificial lens.

Dr. Ruit's goal is to rid the world of treatable blindness with this quick and affordable method,

and today he's doing just that.

Tucked away in the mountains of Nepal, crowds of prospective patients are waiting their

turn for an eye exam.

They've traveled long distances and across challenging terrain to the Tilganga Institute

of Ophthalmology, a nonprofit clinical eye facility founded by Dr. Ruit.

"Every time we see a bigger line we tend to increase the stations inside, and there

are more doctors, more staff who are working now."

Born in Nepal, Dr. Ruit has dedicated his life's work to bringing cost-effective,

hospital grade care to the world's poorest regions.

"It's a beautiful moment.

Every moment when the patches come off, when you see the smile on the patient's face, it's

always very nice, it's this ticklish feeling.

It charges your battery and makes you work harder."

Dr. Ruit and his team have established mobile surgery camps in North Korea, China, Bhutan,

and Ethiopia, training local medical professionals and treating as many patients as possible.

"Tilganga has been a front-runner in delivering this high quality surgery at places where

there are no health facilities."

Dr. Ruit's game changing surgical method comes down to a small incision and an affordable

intraocular lens.

The lenses are manufactured in a state of the art fabrication lab, and they cost just

$4 each.

These lenses typically cost $100 in the developed world.

"These are highly special plastic materials that you put and have no reaction in the eye

at all."

The lab produces about 350,000 lenses annually and sells them to over 60 countries.

"In West, most of the medical bills are very expensive, and partly because the state

and the people can pay for it.

And here, we have to make it cost effective because people can't pay for it."

Inside the hospital, Dr. Ruit and his team are preparing for the day's surgeries.

"The whole idea of the small incision surgery is to make the wound self-sealing, and the

idea of making a wound self-sealing is to have an external opening and an internal opening

at two different planes.

You go and make a tunnel and have internal opening in another place, make an opening

into the cataract.

Once the cataract has come out, it's more like a boiled egg.

The yellow of the egg is the nucleus, which you take out now, and then you go in and remove

the rest of the white of the egg.

And you have the shell of the egg on the back, which you have to intentionally keep intact.

And on the shell of the egg, you put the intraocular lens.

The intraocular lense will allow you to focus and not, not leave you long-sighted.

There are many instances where it changes the life of the person.

The things that we have done here in Nepal, especially in Tilganga, which has caused some

revolution in public health of ophthalmology.

Cataract surgeries, and of that, probably 15 million wouldn't have been able to get

this surgery done if an organization like us hadn't done this kind of homework.

So now they can get it done so the impact you can see.

They can have this kind of surgery, cost effectively, the number of surgeries can go up.

So I think that, it has a great public health impact."
