I'm Doing What I Was Naturally Born to Do - Duration: 2:08.
- [Woman] What's scary about being an entrepreneur?
- You know the truth is I don't even know how to fully answer
that because I don't, that's like asking me what's the best
thing about being a human being or what's the greatest part of
breathing oxygen, right?
Like, you know, I,
I mean the best part for me is that I'm
doing what I think I naturally was born to do. It was kind of
like what was the worst part of my life between six and 18 years
old and that was I was forced to do school in a world where that
was like ripping my eye directly out of my head.
Right? - [Woman] Right.
- To me, the best part is it's my natural being it's who
I am and I love entrepreneurship
and meritocracy and capitalism
and market behavior so much
I even like them more than my own well-being.
I secretly think that if I deserve to go out of business
that that would excite me because I think I deserve it.
Right?
I love the game so much that I'm often...
For example, right now we're in a very political climate and I'm
yelling at all my old white dude rich friends in their 60s and
70s who think they're capitalist still because they want a
Republican president to protect their money and I'm like,
"You're god damn loser because you think that just because you
"made the money you're entitled to save it."
Nobody, nobody is keeping IBM or Google or
AT&T or BMW alive.
That's the market and nobody should keep an individual alive.
This is capitalism.
This is business and you should grind forever and if you take
the foot off the peddle in your 50s,
60s, 70s and 80s you should lose upside.
You should lose and so I just love the game of business and
entrepreneurship and to me that excites me and
that's the best part.

[ Calm music ]
[ Door squeaks ] [Michael Aranda:] Good morning, Todd.
[Todd Williams:] Are you gonna lock the door? [ Door squeaks ]
[ Box rattles ]
[Todd:] Oh, Sarah Meismer— [Sarah Meismer:] What?
[Todd:] I would have helped you.
[Michael:] Just because she's a woman Todd, she doesn't need your help.
[Sarah:] I've got big guns! [Todd:] But...but...humans
should help other humans [ Michael laughs ]
[Todd:] Right?— [Sarah:] Right.
R—Oo...Wow!
[Todd:] So it goes like this.
[Sarah:] Da...da. [Todd:] Da...da...slide.
[Sarah:] Okay. [Todd:] Pound.
[Sarah:] Ugh (laughing).
[Todd:] Michael's got it.
[ Percussive music ]
[Dick Berg:] Heat treated sapphire might be, for one carat...800 to 1,000 dollars.
One carat yogo sapphire 5 to 9,000. [Katelyn Salem:] (Whispering) That's a lot of money.
[Dick:] Carat and a half would be 20,000— [Katelyn:] Wow.
[Dick:] So they are very valuable...so. [Katelyn:] Wow.
What makes them... gemstone quality and not gemstone quality.
[Dick:] (Laughing) Well, I guess it's what people would pay a lot of money for.
A gemstone is something that has to be transparent. It has to look snazzy.
[Katelyn:] So it just has to look nice. [Dick:] Yeah, it has to look nice.
[Michael:] We just finished filming at the...mineral museum.
[Todd:] Huzzah! [Michael:] We talked—we talked to two scientists
about their science. (laughing) And now we are gonna go to Hardee's.
[Todd:] (Enthusiastically) Hardee's, Hardee's! [Sarah:] Yay!
Which is Carl's Jr. for you not Har—Hardee's out there. [Sarah laughs]
[Katelyn:] (Laughing) Excuse me?
[Katelyn:] I would put my life on the line for you, Todd.
[Michael:] They either added this Hardee's logo in later or they enhanced it.
But it is obviously different than the rest of the image.
[ Bell tones ]
[Michael:] Suddenly we're back in Missoula, Montana.
Successful day? [Todd:] Woo!
[ Katelyn burps ] [Michael:] Wow.
[Todd:] Hmm.
[Michael:] So we dropped off all of the equipment. Now we're headed home.
I think some of us are gonna go watch a movie later.
There's a—a film called "Arrival" that looks interesting.
I really like watching movies without knowing anything about anything.
[Katelyn:] What do you know about it?
[Michael:] That it's a science fiction film. And that people think it's good.
One of the pieces of equipment that we got— It's a thing called a "Little Darling…"
it's a little audio recorder that takes, uh, a lavalier microphone input,
but rather than being wirelessly transmitted, it's recording straight into that little pack.
So it simplifies the—the production process a little bit,
so right now, I am wearing the Little Darling.
I've done sort of something like this before, where I… tested out different microphones in a vehicle.
We're probably not gonna get the best test out of this car,
because your car is quieter than my Mustang.
With this, we'll be able to at least go back and forth between the, uh,
(phone audio) phone audio and my (lavalier audio) lavalier microphone audio, and
(phone audio) see if one is (lavalier audio) noticeably better than the other.
With this microphone that I'm wearing, you can probably hear me fairly clearly,
but Katelyn is gonna be a lot quieter in that microphone
compared to the (phone audio) phone audio.
You'd probably be able to hear us both sort of equally.
[Katelyn:] (lavalier audio) I'm interested to see exactly how much quieter I am.
(phone audio) That's supposed to be a pretty, uh… A pretty good microphone.
[Michael:] So in the mail, I received this, uh, thing from the local Ford dealer.
It has some kind of, like, instant-win scratch-off thing,
and I've never gotten one of these things that wasn't a winner.
[Katelyn:] Let's see if you're a winner! [Michael:] My hypothesis is that they are all winners
so that you get this thing and take it in, and then they really sell you hard on a car.
(Reading) "If numbers match, please bring this flier and a valid state ID (aggressively) for validation!"
So if I scratch this off and there're two matching numbers…? Is that all…
[Index:] (In the background) Meow. We have 4-8-7-5-8... on the outside…
4-8-7-5-8! Right there!
[Katelyn:] You're a weener! [Michael:] (Laughing) I'm a weiner.
There you go! We won!
If you look at the things that you can win though—
There's a $25,000 grand prize, $5,000 second prize…
Third through seventh prizes are $1,000
and then all other prizes, probably including this one,
you get to spin a wheel, and on this wheel, you can win up to $50.
So there's probably just like a five dollar prize on there that isn't even worth
the amount of gas to drive down there. [Katelyn:] Aww.
[Michael:] We're at the movie theater, gonna see the "Arrival".
[ Dance music ]
[Michael:] We just finished the movie.
Out of five stars, I think I would give it four.
[Todd:] I would say about... hour and a half in, and then afterwards I'm just like,
"Alright… You're kind of… losin'... losin' stars here!"
[Michael:] So it comes in at, what, three? [Todd:] (Quietly) Two and a half.
[Michael:] (Shocked) Two and a half?!
[Katelyn:] Wow, it lost— [Michael:] Dang!
I think out of this group, I liked it most.
It is kind of a different movie than most movies.
[Glenn Kneebone:] Story was interesting… Uh, different— not really my thing.
So, I guess for the... creativity… averaged with the pain…
Two. [Michael:] (Surprised and laughing) Wow!
[ Uplifting music ]

The Legion Inscription guide to boring, slow but steady profits! - Duration: 5:41.
I'm a successful scribe; I've said this a number of times on this channel.
In previous videos I scratched the surface on what I do but this time I'm going to
give it to you straight, dry and informative.
Hey it's Soul, giving you the Word of Warcraft.
Today I'll show you how to make money with inscription.
But let's get everything out in the open here.
This isn't a method to get rich quick, and inscription isn't the powerhouse moneymaker
it used to be.
But unless your particular realm has some really nasty competition, you'll comfortably
make enough gold to pay for your subscription.
Finally, this isn't an addon tutorial, but I'll give some basic ideas and tips on how
to set up your auctions.
Let's go.
Here are the tools you need.
A character with Legion inscription, preferably one you play regularly enough that you can
stand going out into the world to learn all the Legion inscription recipes.
As an option, or even better if this is your main, make them an herbalist so you can get
your own materials if the herb market isn't looking appetizing and you've got time on
your hands.
An addon to manage your auctions and inventory.
I use TradeSkillMaster.
A spreadsheet.
Believe me when I say it makes your life much easier when you can update just a few prices
and be fed useful, profitable data.
I'll be using them in this video to do some calculations.
Backup capital.
If you play right, you'll sell well enough that you can never hope to gather all the
resources you need on your own.
Invest into making purchases from the auction house or partnering with a few someones who
can farm herbs for you.
Glyphs are made with herbs from every expansion, but explaining the legacy glyphs and herbs
will be pretty simple.
Let's focus on one specific Legion herb instead.
At the center of your inscription empire is Dreamleaf.
It's a scribe's most valuable herb.
A big chunk of your business's profitability both lives and dies by this herb so you want
to get as much of this in your hands as you can.
The question is if and when you start buying it, how much should you buy it for?
And is it better to buy materials directly?
To figure that out I wanted to get a really good idea of what's the actual value of
Dreamleaf is, based on the average yield I'd get when milling a full stack of 200.
So I bought about 16000 of it at a price between 20 and 25g per herb, so rounding up, I spent
400000 gold.
Then I milled all 80 stacks and for each stack, counted how much I got, between Roseate and
Sallow Pigments, Seeds and Nightmare Pods.
That's the total.
And that's the average yield.
Hold on though.
As you might know, Nightmare Pods contain its own random amount of inscription mats,
including more Nightmare Pods.
Like I did with the Dreamleaf, I opened up 100 Pods and recorded the data, got this total,
and this average yield per Nightmare Pod.
So this is the average yield of a stack of Dreamleaf, including the materials that comes
from the average number of Nightmare Pods.
Take this with a grain of salt due to the limited samples, but this is what I use and
I've been pretty profitable so far.
Now that we have these averages we can assign a value to them.
Keep in mind that the prices I'm presenting won't mean anything to you since every realm
is different and time marches on.
Just think of these as examples.
I bought around 400000 worth of Dreamleaf.
The prices of materials during this study are here.
Based on these prices and based on the averages I have, one stack of Dreamleaf is worth 6000
gold.
So at least I did this study at a profit.
It also tells me that there's a market for selling only materials, so I'll sell a small
amount at a time if I feel like it.
So for you folks at home, here's what you do.
Take the average price of materials on your realm here and fill in the blanks.
Calculate the totals and see what's more economical for you, buy materials directly,
or buy Dreamleaf.
For non-Legion glyphs, buying materials is pretty simple.
Spend no more than one gold per herb.
That's it.
The goal is to spend no more than 15 gold to produce a non-Legion glyph.
Spending no more than 1 gold per herb keeps you well under that and doesn't require
all this crazy calculating.
Now it's all downhill from here when it comes to producing and selling glyphs.
I'm the kind of vendor who crafts and sells everything, because in this kind of economy,
everything eventually sells at some point.
The fact that glyphs are no longer permanently learned helps a great deal, too.
Once again I'm using TradeSkillMaster for my selling.
It's plain easy once you work out how to navigate your way in.
But this should be useful no matter what addon you use.
For non-Legion glyphs, I suggest this simple configuration for selling.
It ensures you'll always sell at a profit and you won't have auctions just rotting
away after you've been undercut, and you will be undercut.
If you feel inclined to camp the Auction House, feel free.
Legion glyphs are a great deal more complicated to craft.
The crafting cost of glyphs varies between the classes, so you'll have to set up a
separate configuration for each group, like this.
With the exception of Demon Hunters and Warlocks, classes are paired with an identical cost.
So what should your minimum price be for these?
We'll look back at the average prices of materials being sold on the Auction House.
This is assuming that the price of materials is greater than the price of Dreamleaf is.
The idea is to sell for no lower than this price because otherwise you should just be
selling materials instead, or you can stock up on Dreamleaf.
So again we'll whip up a quick formula to calculate the cost of materials but this time
we'll add another 5% to the total to offset the Auction House cut.
Everything else can stay the same so we can keep product from stagnating.
Vantus Runes and the Tranquil Mind tomes are the two types of time-sensitive items a scribe
sells.
If you have the time to, try to time these sales during your realm's prime time for
raiding and other PvE activities.
As of this recording, don't bother crafting Vantus Runes.
The material cost is scheduled to go down in an upcoming patch.
Once they do though, sell them according to your realm's typical raid schedule.
Restocking and updating your calculations only needs to be done once a week or so, depending
on your traffic.
You'll have holes.
You won't be king of the market.
But you'll be pretty well off.
Share your thoughts and questions, and Stay Breezy.

50 Mountain Bike Parts in 5 Minutes - Duration: 5:06.
This is a mountain bike, and at the heart of any bike is its frame.
Let's start with the parts of the frame.
This here is the top tube, the down tube, the seat tube, the seat stay, and the chain
stay.
This area down here is called the bottom bracket shell.
At the very front of your bike is the head tube, which houses the steerer tube.
This moves smoothly thanks to a set of cups and bearings collectively known as the headset.
Above that are headset spacers and the stem.
The stem, which clamps on to your handlebars, is fastened to the steerer tube with a top
cap and pinch bolts.
On your handlebars you'll find brake levers, shifters, grips, and end plugs.
All this stuff up here is collectively known as the cockpit.
Moving down is your fork, which in this case is a suspension fork.
This top piece is called a crown.
Some bikes are fitted with dual crown forks for added strength.
The crown is what holds your stanchions, which you should try as hard as possible not to
scratch.
Don't hang your bike by the stanchions.
Down here is your brake caliper, which camps down on your rotor when you squeeze your brake
lever.
Some calipers are mechanical, while others are hydraulic.
Hydraulic brakes push fluid through a hose, while mechanical brakes pull the caliper using
a cable.
This big round thing is a wheel.
If you buy a front and back wheel together, it's called a wheelset.
All the parts of your wheels are held together using spokes, which connect to your rim with
these little guys.
They're called nipples.
Also on the rim is a valve stem which is used for pumping air into your tires.
At the center of the wheel is the hub, and inside the hub are bearings.
The hub rotates around an axle.
On a lot of mountain bikes this takes the form of a thru axle, which can be removed
or installed by hand.
On the rear wheel a cassette hub.
This has a ratcheting mechanism built into it which is made to accept a cassette.
The cassette is a set of cogs which can actually be changed to your liking.
The size of each cog is measured by the number of teeth it has, and these teeth are specially
designed to work with a chain.
Your chain is made up of individual links, with one link in particular being possible
to unfasten easily.
This is called a master link.
The chain can be shifted up and down the cassette with a derailleur, which is attached to the
bike via a small breakable part called a derailleur hanger.
If your derailleur hanger snaps or bends, you can just get a new one.
On the derailleur itself is a long spring loaded piece called the cage, which keeps
tension on the chain.
The chain passes through the upper pulley and lower pulley, also known as the jockey
and idler respectively.
Moving down to the bottom bracket shell, you'll find your crankset, with the most visible
parts being the crank arms.
The crank arms are attached to the spindle, which runs through a set of bearings which
are inside the bottom bracket shell.
The spindle and bearings collectively are known as the bottom bracket.
The part with all the teeth is called the chainring.
Some bikes have up to 3 of these.
At the end of the crank arms are pedals, which can be found in many different forms.
The crankset, chain, derailleur and cassette are collectively known as your drivetrain.
On a full suspension mountain bike you'll find a variety of stuff connecting the front
and rear of the bike together, known as the suspension linkage.
At the heart of all this is your shock.
This is usually fastened to the linkage on one side, and to your top tube or down tube
on the other.
Moving up, we have the seat, or saddle.
The two words are interchangeable, but some people think it's pretentious to call it
a saddle.
Personally I don't care what you call it as long as you don't correct other people.
In any case this is most definitely not a saddle post, it's a seat post, and it's
held on to your bike with a seat post clamp, or collar.
These days a lot of seat posts can be adjusted on the fly.
Those are called dropper posts.
So I just named well over 50 parts of a mountain bike, but all of these parts can be broken
down into hundreds more.
So, put those terms down in the comments, and if you're really bored see if you can
come up with an exact count of the terms I used in this video.
Also, tell me how you pronounce derailleur.
Are you one of those people who say "derailleeyur?".
In any case thanks for riding with me today, I'll see you next time.

Wonders of Wisdom - Duration: 7:17.
This is a Pecha Kucha featuring words of wisdom from your professor
about living through this class and other classes in your future.
Manage Your Time Wisely.
Schedule out time in your calendar to complete work and reviews others' work.
Be realistic about your schedule and communicate your commitments to those who need to know.
Turn off your cellphone for a period of time to work on one thing without distraction.
We are so heavily distracted by notifications, texts, phone calls, and emails.
Disconnect yourself from technology from time to time.
Take self-care seriously by communicating your needs to those who need to know.
It's okay to be late on something as long as everyone who needs to know is aware and can make adjustments.
Be proactive and schedule time to decompress
before life schedules it for you.
Proactively engage your fellow students to complete work and grow relationships for after you graduate.
Seek and give support.
Raise others up,
and certainly
don't
let them down.
Talk to and reach out to your professor any time.
If you get stumped by something
or spend too much time trying to figure something out.
Sometimes, issues can be resolved with a
simple vocal exchange.
APA formatting is to create a consistency and standard in citing information in your paper.
Print out the resources.
Get comfortable with it.
Ask your group for extra help if you need it.
Use academic sources over online news articles.
Reference and read actual studies before referencing news articles which refer to them.
News articles tend to interpret surface results without validating the methodology of the study.
And that's not okay. That's not great.
It's important to be academically rigorous to maintain a high standard for factual instruction.
We live in an age of too much information and not enough facts.
Misinformation can have unintended consequences which affect everyone negatively
and it is up to you to be sure of what you're communicating.
Not everyone is an amazing writer. That's okay.
But you still have to work at it and get help from your group.
You'd be surprised what people can learn from each other,
regardless of their experience levels or backgrounds.
Sometimes, an expert has more to learn from helping.
Do not write conversationally.
Avoid writing like you would talk.
Avoid THIS and THAT and IT.
Less is more.
In this class, I will ask you to take a real look at what you're writing.
Do you mean what you write?
Capture the world around you.
Teach with your truth.
Using images and video you create,
you can connect directly with your learners and be an example of hope
and what it means to be a leader of your community.
Make meaning meaningful.
At every turn, ask yourself and your group members,
"So what?"
Why should ___ care about ___ ?
Who cares?
If you can't come up with a compelling answer to those questions,
you need to retool your communicative approach.
Don't tell people how to do anything.
No one wants to be told what to do.
Show us how you or someone else did something.
Let us learn by watching or listening to a story.
Then we can try it for ourselves.
Human nature shows we like to rebel when we're told how it is.
Instead, show us how it could be.
In every instructional material you create,
include a call to action.
A call-to-action is anything meaningful an individual can carry out
after having learned from your materials.
Empower your audience to interact with their world in a positive way.
Be present all the time
and take pictures and videos of everything that catches your eye.
Take a lot of walks.
Look around you in a new way,
with an eye for capturing life.
It's there.
Everywhere.
Waiting for you to capture it!
I'm serious!
Follow copyright laws.
There are plenty of creative commons and public domain material
to be found and manipulated online.
This includes music, photos, and videos.
Listen, it's usually easier and better to create it
on your own.
You can do this!
Yeah!
Engage and include your friends, coworkers, and family members
in the creation of your instructional materials.
You'll have an immediate audience after you've finalized your work
and you'll create memories which your audiences
I guarantee you,
will lock onto and remember what you've taught.
Read the required books casually.
Use a highlighter or take notes as you wish.
You will refer to the books a lot,
so keep them next to your computer after you've read them.
Talk about the book with your family.
Talk about it to determine your comprehension.
Rather than deliver instruction which could be divisive or exclusive,
always focus on delivering instruction which is unifying and inclusive.
Find common ground.
Americans are more divided by misinformation than ever.
Your duty is to bring people together to make the world a better place.
Have fun. Be a kid again. Pretend and imagine.
Don't overthink anything.
Take lots of breaks.
Start over.
Day dream and visualize your creations.
Discover yourself and take us along for the ride on your journey.
Be vulnerable.
Be here with us
and we'll be here for you.

Holiday #BookTubeAThon 2016 TBR [CC] - Duration: 3:03.
Hey guys, so today's video is going to
be my TBR for the holiday BookTubeAThon
of 2016. Now, I've participated in three
BookTubeAThons before, but never a holiday
BookTubeAThon. I'm not going to be doing
any of the challenges because I already
had books picked out and they didn't fit
the challenges, so I'm just not going to do
the challenges. But, I'll show you the
books I'm planning on reading during
those three days. I think it starts the
29th and goes through the 31st of December.
So yeah, let's get started. The first book
here I'll show you, but I'll probably
finish this before the holiday
BookTubeAThon even starts,
but it's Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I'm
rereading this in order to read the
sequel because I tried to read the
sequel and couldn't remember anything
that happened in this one. So I'm rereading
this, I'm more than halfway through it
and I'm definitely planning on finishing
this one before the holiday
BookTubeAThon starts, but I just thought
I'd mention it anyway. And here is the
sequel, Crooked Kingdom, which I'm also
planning to read. This one is a little
bit bigger than the first one but
they're usually quick reads, kind of,
they're medium reads, I call them.
I hope I enjoy this one. Yep, I
really don't have much to say about this
since it's a sequel. Next I've just got some
manga volumes. These are Toriko volume 6 and
Attack on Titan volume 8. I've been
reading both of these series
throughout the month of December and really
enjoying both of them. So I don't know if
I'm going to be specifically reading
these volumes or volumes later in the
series, we'll see how it goes, whether or
not I read these ones. But I'm planning
on reading at least one volume from each
series. And then if I somehow manage to
complete all of that I'm planning on
picking up Crystal Storm by Morgan
Rhodes, the fifth book in the Falling
Kingdoms series.
I really like
Falling Kingdoms for the most part. There
are some major problems I have in the
romance aspect, but we'll see how this
one goes. I haven't been hearing very
good things about this one. Actually I
haven't really heard much, but the things I
have heard have been pretty mediocre, so
we'll see how this goes.
I'm excited to get to it anyway. So yeah,
those are the books I'm planning to read
during the holiday BookTubeAThon. Again,
I've never participated in the holiday
BookTubeAThon before. I don't think
I've ever participated in a readathon
that wasn't a week long, so we'll see how
that goes,
since there's only like two or three days
to participate.
Anyway, thank you guys for watching. Let me know
what you're planning on reading during
the holiday BookTubeAThon, or if you're
even participating, and I'll see you guys
in my next video. Bye!

Parents Demand Teacher Be Removed After Setting Up Satanic Display by Nativity Scene - Duration: 2:35.
Parents Demand Teacher Be Removed After Setting Up Satanic Display by Nativity Scene.
Parents were outraged after a local teacher set up a horrifying display next to the towns
Nativity scene.
They were fighting to get him removed from his position with good reason.
Boca Raton, Florida, parents have started a petition to remove Preston Smith from the
middle school where he teaches because of the display that he allegedly set up that
depicted a 10-foot pentagram with a banner that read, May the Children Hail Satan.
The display sat next to a Nativity scene and a menorah in a public park, according toThe
Daily Caller.
The parents were concerned that Smith may be spreading his satanic views to his pupils,
something Solange Bush, the mother of a 14-year-old boy, was not happy about.
I just dont feel comfortable about it and I dont agree with it, Bush said.
Attempts to switch her son out of the class were unsuccessful.
According to reports, Smith defended his exhibit and added that he didnt share his views
with his students.
May the Children Hail Satan is an artistic expression of defiance toward the
Sanborn Square Nativity scene, which performs an annual re-enactment of predatory indoctrination
in a public park targeting young children before they have critical thinking skills,
he reportedly stated.
Boca Raton Middle School Superintendent Robert Avossa said that he understood the parents
concerns but that the school was not in a position to micromanage a teachers
actions off school premises.
However, the townspeople were not sitting idly by.
The sign has reportedly been vandalized multiple times and knocked down.
Smith was granted permission from the city of Boca Raton to erect the display, according
to WPTV.
The liberal agenda has moved in on Christmas and it shows no sign of slowing down.
This is what happens when we become too politically correct.
