encounters we've had with the supernatural PART 4 – I'm {} and today I'll be your

narrator

10 – s0ph1e10 Andiemations When Andiemations was visiting her grandmother's

house once, she decided she was tired and went to bed.

In the room she was staying in, there were these two Japanese dolls sitting on the window.

The room was dark but she could see the dolls clearly in the moonlight.

Suddenly she glanced at them, only to see their heads turning.

She was so scared she hid under her covers, covered in sweat from the fear.

She heard a loud THUD, held her eyes shut and curled up into a ball.

When she finally woke up in the morning, the dolls heads were laying on the floor next

to her bed.

9 - Liam_is_the_BEST Robo Robo believes her home is definitely haunted.

One night she was walking to the bathroom when she saw a huge smoke cloud in the hallway

that was the shape of a person.

She quickly ran back into her bedroom, ducked under her bed and watched as the cloud wandered

around her room before floating into another room.

Then she saw two white eyes glowing in the corner of the room.

After they disappeared, there was no explanation or trace of the cloud.

Sometimes when it is a foggy day, Robo can still see the mysterious cloud eyes looking

at her.

8 – Avi_Kaplan27 Gooby and Snewpee One night Gooby and Sacred Snewpee decided

to go on a ghost hunt in their basement.

They started by recording Snewpee asking questions to any spirits that might be present.

They played back the first recording and were sure they heard something.

At the end of each recording they could hear a word being whispered.

They wrote the words down.

Snewpee read the words back and they read: 'I can't get out of hell unless I steal

your bodies'.

They immediately freaked out and ran out of the basement.

They never went ghost hunting again.

7 – latioscx1 Cidius Cidius and his dad were having a conversation

outside their house one night when a flying object appeared in the sky above them.

They could tell it wasn't a plane, nor a drone, but it was about the size of a car

and had no lights on it.

It was a very dark night and they watched as it floated slowly and silently above them.

His dad was convinced it was a UFO, and tried to take a picture, but the UFO made a sharp

turn and instantly disappeared.

Still to this day they don't know what it could have been.

6 – Jojocats100 Legna and Pringle When Legna was about 7 years old, he was sitting

in his room with his friend Pringle.

After a while of talking, they heard a crash.

Legna thought it was weird because his parents weren't the house.

Suddenly a strange feeling like being watched came over them and at the exact same time,

they both turned to look at the wall.

There was a shadow of a woman with curly hair moving across all the walls.

The shadow walked to the closet and disappeared.

After a few seconds, Pringle investigated the closet.

Then, out of nowhere he screamed.

Pringle was so startled he vowed never to tell a soul what he saw in that closet.

5 – DreadWolf115 SpinalPalm When SpinalPalm was 11 years old, he was at

home with his sister.

His sister went to bed and he decided to play some video games.

He heard footsteps coming up the stairs and said, "You're home early, Mom!" but he didn't

get a reply.

He went to the stairs and looked down but there was nothing there.

Then suddenly he heard his sister scream so he ran and busted open the door.

But when he got there she was sound asleep.

Suddenly he felt a cold chill pass by him and a voice that said "turn around".

Before he knew what was happening, he fell unconscious on the floor.

The next morning he woke up in bed, and his mom tried to convince him it was just a bad

dream.

4 -reddeagon4202 Grgak When Grgak and Tolop were once hiking through

the woods in Grand Rapids Michigan when they heard a snapping noise.

They turned around but couldn't see anything suspicious so they kept walking.

Suddenly Tolop screamed and Grgak turned around to see him being dragged by an invisible force

through the woods.

He ran after him and they ended up at an empty campsite.

There was clothes laying everywhere and empty food containers, it was really creepy.

Once Grgak caught up, they ran for their lives back to safety and never went walking down

that trail again.

3 – DistroxDeGrand Ramona Every so often, a very tall man appears in

Ramona's neighbourhood.

He lurks where people can see him, usually around tall windows or at the end of dark

streets.

He never shows his face, hiding it in the shadows or behind walls.

Nobody knows who the man is or if he's even a human at all.

There are rumours that he is related to the legendary Slender Man.

Wherever he came from, everyone in her neighbourhood knows that if you see him after dark, you

should immediately run away.

2 – RedJack101 Dolan Dolan was in the park opposite his house one

time when he heard a loud bang.

He looked around but there was nothing unusual so he kept playing with his friends.

They heard it again and this time he could see a figure holding a gun and pointing it

at him.

He ran back to his house and looked out his window, but nothing was there.

It was like it never happened.

Two days later he was sitting in his room when he casually looked out the window and

there in the park, was the gunman, pointing the gun at his window.

He hid, rubbed his eyes, and looked back out, and the gunman was gone again.

He never saw him again.

JUST DETECTED SHOCK WAVES FROM ANCIENT COSMIC CRASH BLASTING EARTH

For just the third time ever, scientists have picked up gravitational waves, actual ripples

in the fabric of space and time that were predicted by Albert Einstein a century ago

but never observed until last year.

Like the first two detections of these cosmic shock waves, the latest can be traced back

to a merger of two black holes forming a huge single black hole.

This merger event occurred about 3 billion years ago, making it more than twice as old

and distant as the last two events picked up by ground-breaking Laser Interferometer

Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) detectors in Louisiana and Washington state.

LIGO and the Virgo collaboration based in Europe published a paper Thursday on the latest

detection in the journal Physical Review Letters.

The black hole collision that set off the gravitational waves is a little mind-blowing

to think about.

As if the basic idea of a black hole -- a point of gravity so powerful that even light

itself can't escape -- weren't already weird enough.

Now imagine two of them colliding in an epic crash that produces more energy than is radiated

as light by all the stars and galaxies in the universe at any given moment.

No wonder we can detect the shock waves of such a distant event.

"It is remarkable that humans can put together a story, and test it, for such strange and

extreme events that took place billions of years ago and billions of light-years distant

from us," MIT's David Shoemaker said in a news release.

He is the spokesman for the LIGO Scientific Collaboration.

Observing gravitational waves gives scientists a whole new way to study the universe, better

understand black holes and how they form, and perhaps even solve some of the greatest

mysteries of space, like elusive dark matter.

This latest detection came on January 4 during LIGO's second observation run, which will

continue through August.

A third run is scheduled for late 2018, when major technical upgrades and a third detector

in Italy should boost researchers' ability to spot more space-time tremors ( via cnet.com

).

What causes malaria?

Malaria is caused by a bite from a mosquito infected with parasites.

In very rare cases, people can get malaria if they come into contact with infected blood.

You cannot get malaria just by being near a person who has the disease.

What are the symptoms?

Most malaria infections cause symptoms like the flu, such as a high fever, chills, and

muscle pain.

Symptoms tend to come and go in cycles.

Some types of malaria may cause more serious problems, such as damage to the heart, lungs,

kidneys, or brain.

These types can be deadly.

How is malaria diagnosed?

Your doctor will order a blood test to check for the malaria parasite in your blood.

How is it treated?

Medicines usually can treat the illness.

But some malaria parasites may survive because they are in your liver or they are resistant

to the medicine.

Get medical help right away if you have been in an area where malaria is present, were

exposed to mosquitoes, and get symptoms that are like the flu.

These include a high fever, chills, and muscle pain.

How is malaria prevented?

You may be able to prevent malaria by taking medicine before, during, and after travel

to an area where malaria is present.

But using medicine to prevent malaria doesn't always work.

This is partly due to the parasites being resistant to some medicines in some parts

of the world.

Recent studies shows that scientists are trying to produce genetically modified mosquito who

will not carry the parasites causing malaria.

If it is done, it will be a revolution in the field of biology.

Strict doesn�t mean that you are just extremely authoritative.

A strict parenting style means that you are actively involved in their life, activities,

school, behavior, and other out of school encounters.

You keep a close eye on your child no matter what.

Your strict parenting style differs from authoritative parenting.

Authoritative parenting can become a power play relationship.

You don�t want your kids thinking that you�re just controlling them because you can.

They need to know there is an overall reason regarding their well-being, not just because

you want to show that you are in control.

There are two different types of parenting; authoritative parenting and authoritarian

parenting.

Authoritative parenting is issue based and pragmatic.

Authoritarian parenting has set rules and is less strict, I suppose you would say.

According to Psychology Today, authoritative parenting is regarded as the most effective

style of parenting.

It is common for an authoritarian raised child will suffer from depression and lower self-esteem.

This is because they are constantly trying to strive to make their parents happier and

more proud of them.

According to Psychology Today, authoritative parents raise children to be well adjusted,

behaved, and achieving.

It can be very easy to give into your child.

They Are essentially tiny little masters at getting what they want.

However, this can actually hurt them more than helping them.

In the moment, yes they are happy because they got what they wanted, but what happens

when they want something they really can�t have?

Well, that is where temper tantrums come into play � and those are no fun.

Often times you might catch a cool mom.

If you have spent times trying to be the cool mom that is lenient, hip, and in touch, you

need to stop.

It is normal to want to bond with your kids, but you should never try to be their friend.

You�re not their friend, you�re their parent and you always keep their best interest

in mind, no matter how uncool it is.

Trying to be cool can teach your kids to put a premium on fitting in, but you may simultaneously

losing their respect, Psych Central reports.

Studies from the University of Essex further proved that strict parents raise more successful

children.

Children with strict mothers were ultimately more confident and secure, according to News

Magazine.

It might be hard to scold you child and make them angry, but it is for the best!

WE NEED TO STOP DEMONIZING THE MIND. WHAT IT ACTUALLY MEANS TO LIVE FROM THE HEART

What does it look like to live from your heart? What is the mind�s role in our experience?

In my 10 years of studying and practicing living from the heart, I�ve discovered an

emerging trend: The spiritual community has made a demon out of the mind.

There is no doubt that the mind is the source of suffering � the incessant thoughts and

worries, the endless ego stories, the mental tricks we often play � but this doesn�t

mean the mind as a whole is the problem, nor does this mean we should avoid the mind.

It seems now that any form of thoughts, ideas, planning, logic, and so forth get put into

the category of �not in the flow� or �being in the mind,� and this is simply a misunderstanding.

I�ve seen people try to avoid their mind like the plague, to avoid thought, avoid processing,

just because �the mind is evil� or other such misconceptions. So, let�s dive into

how the mind works so we can better understand its true role.

How Our Mind Works in Our Experience

You are a soul, playing out a physical experience on this planet. Your soul enters a vehicle

called the body that allows us to have a physical experience on Earth. The body is made up of

a number of essential parts including your brain, which is comprised of many components

that ultimately serve to decode this reality into something that isn�t simply an energetic

soup. It also allows us to process important aspects of the human experience, using things

like logic and calculation so you can understand how to walk, run, jump, communicate, build,

create, and so forth. Your consciousness USES the mind as a tool in the human experience.

For example, when you receive information from your higher self, through your heart

to your physical experience, the mind processes that information and learns how to use it

within this experience. The connection between the heart and brain is quite evident scientifically,

and the heart actually sends signals to the brain to communicate. The mind is a key factor

in the entire relationship between our mind, body and spirit. One can�t function fully

within the human experience without the other.

Where We�ve Become Unbalanced

So now we know that the mind is actually here working in our favour to have the experiences

we need. But it�s also important to mention that in some ways, we�ve gone off course

a bit.

The mind is layered and also contains a powerful program called the ego. The ego can essentially

be broken down into two layers: upper ego and lower ego. The upper ego has the basic

understanding that we are separate, in experience, from others and are playing out an individual

identity for the purpose of evolution. The lower ego is more about intense and increased

separation, strong identity attachment, fear, and incessant stories. The lower ego has served

us by showing us what it feels like to be disconnected from our true selves and from

others, unable to live harmoniously with the Earth, animals, etc. This has been a tool

in many ways, but our challenge is now to overcome the power it has and learn to find

our true selves beyond it.

Why is this happening now? Living with it in the driver seat has already taught us what

we needed to learn from it, but for quite some time, we�ve been resisting the change

that is being presented to us. It�s now time to move forward. This is why we�re

seeing such a huge rise in interest in this topic collectively. People are exploring meditation,

spirituality, the ego, and so much more as a reflection of a collective evolution.

To create this shift, from our ego being in the driver seat and from overusing the mind

to living from our hearts and simply using ego and mind as tools, we must focus on creating

more self awareness. We must pay attention to our thoughts for a moment and simply observe

them. When we observe them we begin to see that, though they are part of our experience,

they are nevertheless separate from us. Over time we learn to quiet those thoughts by not

giving them so much attention or weight and by using tools like meditation.

This is a journey. It�s a practice, not something that happens overnight, and like

building any muscle, it takes time. Here are a few tips to start to quiet the mind.

How to Live From the Heart and What It Looks Like

When you begin to identify less with the ego and incessant mind thoughts, you begin to

FEEL more. This does not mean having more emotions; this means having a deeper feeling

within your heart. Some might call this following your intuition or listening to your gut. It�s

about paying attention to the subtleness of each moment, the energy and nature of what

exists in presence.

What does this look like? Are you �zenned out� constantly? No! This is where a huge

misconception comes in. Living from the heart does not suddenly mean you don�t think,

you don�t do work, you don�t live life, or that you meditate all day. It means you

begin experiencing this life with your heart driving your experience. It means doing things

from a space of heart-driven consciousness rather than what your ego is telling you to

do for reasons you can�t quite describe. It�s doing things because they come naturally

versus out of fear or worry. It�s about doing things because you feel it�s what

you need to do, not because you need to be keeping up with the Jones� or following

trends everyone else is jumping on. There�s no emotion behind it; it�s simply neutral

and it flows lightly.

As you live from the heart you still use your mind, your body, your logic, your creativity,

etc.; your actions are simply guided by something entirely different and your ego becomes a

quiet program that sits off in the background. Your monkey mind doesn�t have the same power

it does because you are dialled in to something different.

Do you need to meditate to get into the heart all the time? At first yes, but eventually,

no; it becomes completely natural and part of your everyday way of being. It becomes

automatic.

The process of moving from a state of being in ego or mind almost all the time to living

from the heart starts with getting the �stuff� out of the way. You have to ask the important

questions: What does it mean to be a human on this planet? Who am I? Why do I do what

I do? What do I feel I really wish to be doing right now? Why am I concerned with my appearance

or with what someone said about me?

When we all begin to live from the heart, we no longer need to operate using theories

or philosophies of how to be. Instead we live naturally through oneness consciousness, which

is what�s already emerging from our hearts. We care for one another, we create systems

that work for everyone, we treat each other as equal because we do not judge differences,

and we collectively create a world where we can all truly thrive and utilize the gifts

we each came here with. Living from the heart is where we are headed, but we must do the

work to embrace it and move it along. It won�t happen by simply waiting.

It�s a Process � Let It Unfold

Practice self awareness to avoid being hard on yourself during this process, but also

be aware of the limits we often place on ourselves to justify certain behaviours. We often want

to say �We�re only human,� meant to imply that we make all �mistakes,� but

it�s a slippery slope to constantly justify the avoidance of evolving beyond old patterns

that can be challenging to transcend by accepting it�s part of �being human,� when it�s

not. This is probably one of the most limiting statements we can actually make about ourselves,

as who we truly are is not human, but a soul of infinite potential HAVING a human experience

that happens to be going through a massive evolution in consciousness at this time. The

statement also allows us to blame the human experience rather than taking responsibility

and looking at who we are and why things happen, and truly understanding and shifting our experience.

Allow the various tools of our human experience to be there, understand the role they each

serve, and avoid demonizing any one of them. They are there for a reason and, as far as

the mind goes, let�s remember how important it truly is in decoding our reality. Demonizing

useful thought, logic, planning, and creation will only limit our ability to thrive and

let our true self shine through.

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel!

As mentioned in last week's video, I just graduated from grad school!

So in this week's video, I will be sharing y'all how I got ready for the graduation ceremony

from cap decoration to make-up, hair, and outfit

Hopefully this video can help many of you

especially when the graduation season is approaching!

But before we start, I just wanna remind y'all to subscribe to my channel

Here is the cap decoration process

which started with me going to Micheals to buy all the decorative craft stuffs

I'm just searching around for the materials

I already have the decoration in mind, just not sure whether they have all of the materials here

Here's the sticker section, and what I need is mainly here

There is a huge and varied selection of them!

Let's the fun begin!

I was intending to decorate the cap with "Mischief Managed", a famous line from Harry Potter

which was always said after they finished using the Marauder's Map

For those who don't read the book, you may think "What the hell is she talking about?"

But with Potterheads, this is actually really cool!

Then my roommate saw me decorating cap:

As you see, after I was done with sticking the words and the border,

I put on a lot of graduation-themed stickers, and can't miss a balloons one!

Here comes the hardest part: making the bow

I like to stick on a bow bc it will make the cap way more girly

while green is my school's color

I honestly didn't know how to make one

so I went on YouTube and Pinterest and watched many tutorials

before putting together an acceptable bow

Finally, I used a glue gun to secure the bow to the cap

Yay, it's done!

Here's the final product!

On the day of the ceremony, I got several comments that

my cap really stood out and was easily spotted, hehe!

Now let's get into make-up!

First, to create a perfectly dewy skin finish,

I used my favorite OHUI Ultimate Cover CC Cushion

If your commencement is outdoor or in a hot day

you can apply primer first before the cushion!

Then use the leftover on the puff for the neck, too

I zoomed in to show you more close-ups of other parts

Starting with eyebrows

You must have seen me do this several times

and I do have a separate video regarding eyebrow styling

so I may not need to talk much about this!

This time, I use an eyeliner pencil to draw the brows

because for some good reasons, all my 3 fav eyebrow pencils broke!

Now move to the eye makeup with the eyeshadow quad from Maybelline

This quad is very convenient since it has the functions on each of the color

So I started with the base color (light pink) on all over the eye

then I used the lid colors (shimmery gold) to put on the lids

then I put the crease color on the crease (duh) to make the eyes looks bigger and deeper

Then I lined the eyes with a brown eyeliner pencil

Starting from the middle of the eye, then line it to the end and finished by lining the begin

The eye-lining will make eyes appear sharper

Next, move to my ultimate essential make-up step: nose contouring

I used the contour color from Colourpop x Alexis Ren - Topaz

At first, the color appeared a little bit orange, which didn't suit me really well

but after blending and blending, the contour became a lot more natural

Then it was time to give the cheeks some pink with Nars blush in Orgasm

Then, I decided to give the make-up look a little fancy kick

So I lined some silver metallic on the water line and blended it using a brush

And the final result was awesome! My eyes looked way more twinkling!

Next, I lined my lips using this lip liner and filled in the lips with it, too

before applying lipstick

This would create a nicer lip shape and the lipstick would be more long-lasting

The lipliner is by Smashbox and the lipstick is from Nars

They together created a very pretty red and suits the look really well!

To finish the make-up, I curved my eyelashes and applied mascara

Time to dress up!

After changing, I did my hair

You may still remember the video I posted two weeks ago showing how I usually style my hair

So I won't talk much about this either

But this time, I was more careful and thorough and divided the hair into 3 sections

When just finishing curling my hair, I couldn't wait no more

So I put on the cap right away to check it out

and as a result, I was personally blown away by how good it looked lol

Then spraying on my perfume before heading out!

For this important day, I wore this mustard dress from Express

I love this color so much because it really complements my skin tone

But actually, it didn't make any impact because after I wore the gown

no one can see the dress anymore lol

My biggest advice is to wear a very comfortable and not too high pair of shoes

After the graduation lunch with my families, I went to school and got prepared for the ceremony

How to do a Cartwheel - Duration: 1:25.

Hello everyone and today I will show how to do a cartwheel.

First, you should know which side is better for you.

If you are right handed, it's likely that you are more comfortable with your right leg.

If not, the opposite.

Here's how I learned my cartwheel

First, you put your 2 hands down.

You should have one straight leg.

Kick the floor with the straight leg and put the other leg up aswell

You should have a handstand split

And put your legs one by one

When one of your leg is down, the opposite hand should come up

And face the starting point with a lunge position.

Also, it is wrong to srat your cartwheel side ways

And end in sideways

When you're doing a cartwheel,

It's important to have straight legs and arms and pointed feet .

Remember that skills doesn't come in a blink of a eye

and it takes time to master it.

Do not be upset on your first try

and never give up.
