GERMAN HAND GESTURES with Elisa (Die Frickelbude) - Duration: 7:41.Hey everyone! Dana here and today I'm in Berlin with Elisa from the YouTube channel Die Frickelbude.
And today she's going to help me figure out what some of the German hand gestures mean
and also tell me which ones I'm doing wrong.
Let's start with one that could really cause some misunderstandings. - Okay.
On your channel you make some really cool DIY projects taking things that maybe are
trash or not needed and upcycling them.
So recently you did one with an old shampoo bottle. - Yeah.
And you turned it into something to hang in the shower, yeah? - Yeah.
Super idea, really clever. - Thank you!
So if I did something like that, and I was so proud of my work, coming from the U.S.,
I might go to a friend or something and show it to them and go: eh!
But in German, this means something else, right?
Yeah, this could mean something like you're an idiot.
Yeah, so you're like: look what I did!
So that's one to watch out for. And is it really just like...?
Well, I think we are more like, we would put the finger straight I think.
Straight, okay. - Yeah.
So it could, it could be a misunderstanding, - Okay. - but it not has to be. - Okay.
So it could be right. - Alright.
So, but I should be careful with that. - Yeah. - Okay.
And another hand gesture that I had never seen before until I came to Germany... - Okay.
Am I doing this right? Something like... - Ah, okay!
Am I doing this, or? - It does, it does really mean the same. - Okay. - That's,
that's odd cause, everything means you're an idiot.
So you can either do like, like this.
Yeah but this will, everybody will understand this.
It just means like...
What are you thinking? - Yeah. - Is it in front of the eyes? - Yeah, it's just.
No, in front of the face. - The whole face. - The whole face. - Okay.
And I think it's just like you're driving the car and somebody just does the wrong thing,
I don't know just parking or, and you're like...
Okay. So it just means like, yeah, what did you do? What were you thinking? - Yeah. - Okay.
It's like rolling the eyes. - Ah! Okay. - But you can just see it. - Okay!
Okay, so like... - Yeah. - Yes, I get it! Okay, yeah. That makes sense. - Yeah.
But no, I had never seen that in the U.S. - No? - No.
Americans, we don't do that, right?
Like, what would that mean to an American?
People who have never been to Germany, what would you think that means?
Or from whatever country you're from, what would you think that means if someone did that?
Maybe like there's bugs in my face! - Yeah. - Ugh, there's so many bugs in my face. Get them out.
Oh! That's with the German saying, right, "du spinnst." - Yeah. - Right?
That could go along with it. - Yeah. - That's sort of what it means, right? - Yeah.
Sort of this. I still feel like I'm doing this one wrong.
Is it really just pointing? - I think it's... - It's the whole face. - Yeah.
Like...huh? Huh? Huh? I have to practice that one.
I'm gonna stand in front of the mirror and practice this one.
So. - You just can do this. - Yeah exactly.
Exactly, so Mr. German Man, if you come home and you see me just like...standing in front
of the mirror, I'm practicing my "you're stupid" face.
I don't know if I need to master that one. I should do nicer things.
I've also heard that Germans count differently. - Yeah.
So if you were to count with your fingers.
One, two, three, four, five. How would you do it? - Yeah, I know that.
Cause we do this one, two, three. - Right. - And you do three. - I do one, two, three. - Yeah, yeah.
Okay, so you go with, start with the thumb. - Yeah. - One, two, three. - And then up.
Okay, and I would go one, two, three, four and then comes the thumb, five.
No, we start with the thumb.
If you wanted to say I just want one of something, would you...then you would do this? - Yeah.
You wouldn't say I want one. - No, I no, I don't think so. - No.
I would just, yeah. - Okay. - Yeah.
So if you're counting then it starts like that. - Yeah.
But if you're just saying I want one then it's just the, the pointer finger.
In English we call this the pointer finger. In German, right? Zeigefinger. - It's the same, yeah.
And I guess this isn't really a hand gesture, but it's something you do with your hands.
Like knocking instead of clapping.
Yeah. - You do that, is that...? - We do it only at the university, I think. - Ah, okay.
So if the room is full, then you knock. - Okay. - But, yeah, instead of...
Instead of clapping, you would knock. - Yeah. But not always. - Yeah.
I think it's, yeah, only at the university.
Or if someone enters the room or, yeah, did something good in a meeting or something,
you could also knock.
I've also, I think I've seen, is this right?
Yeah, like, instead of saying "thank you," like if someone brings them something at the
table, maybe like, if a friend goes up and grabs a drink and also grabs one for you and
brings it back, I think sometimes knocking?
I don't do that. - You don't do that. - But maybe... - Okay.
Mr. German Man over there? Have you ever...?
I think I saw one of your colleagues do it, that's where I think I saw it. At the cafeteria.
I thought I saw like knocked.
Back from the camera here...Um, what we do, yeah, university or I would even say if something,
like if you honor someone.
Just not with clapping but in a way.
And it could be if someone brings something you honor them knocking on wood.
Ah, okay. Like not saying thank you but sort of like you're great for doing that. - Yeah.
Yeah, you give them applause, like...this is...I, in my feeling this is even more honorable than...
Yeah - Than clapping. - Yeah. - Okay.
I think only a standing ovation is then... - Yeah. - Any more than that? - Yeah. - Okay.
So the next time - Yeah. - you get a drink, standing ovation. - Standing ovation.
That was so wonderful!
And to wish people good luck in the U.S., we do "cross the fingers."
And in German, it's like, it's pushing the thumbs, right? - Yeah, but that's,
okay that's um, somebody would do it like this because, um - Oh! Okay.
some say that if you do it like that you fall. - Oh! - But it's regional, I think. - Okay.
But, yeah, you do this. We don't - Don't do this. - No.
So if you didn't know English you would not have any idea what I'm doing. - No.
If I come up to you and I'm like...yeah. - No. - No idea.
So either like that. - Yeah. - Or like that is also okay. - Yeah.
And that means good luck.
And if you just went to someone and didn't verbally say good luck, if you just went, like...
Yeah. - You know what that means? - Yeah. - Okay.
Because, I mean, to me that looks like I'm gonna punch you in the face. You know?
Okay, so are there any other hand gestures that you can think of?
I think a lot of the other ones are the same. - Yeah.
Does this also mean, like, yay good job? - Yeah. - Okay.
Thumbs up - Thumbs up, okay. - is always the same, yeah.
Peace sign? - Yeah. - Also peace sign. Anything else I'm missing, Mr. German Man?
No. That's awesome.
So our question for you is: Do you do these hand gestures like how we did them?
Or differently?
And what other hand gestures or body movements have you seen out there around the world?
Please let us know in the comments below.
So, be sure to go over and check out Elisa's channel, Die Frickelbude.

Transformers Mastermind Creations R13 Spartan with Reprolabels (aka IDW Impactor) - Duration: 26:25.Hello boys and girls, young and old. Welcome to yet another action figure video review.
Today we'll take a look at Transformers Mastermind Creations R13 Spartan!
And as you can see, Spartan comes with a small box. You see him here in his robot mode.
Top and right you see that this figure is for ages 16+. The box uses a magnet to open like this.
You see the figure here in the robot mode. A nice artwork of Spartan here on the left side of the box.
On the top side of the box, you see Spartan in his robot mode.
Nothing special on the sides of the box.
On the bottom side of the box you see some warnings.
And on the back side of the box, you see Spartan in both of his modes.
Enough with the box, let's see the accessories of the figure now.
Spartan comes with these two purple pieces.
He comes with this yellow piece which is used for the transformation into the vehicle mode.
With his harpoon.
With his drill.
With his gun.
He comes with this card.
Tech specs on the other side of the card.
And of course, he comes with the instructions, here they are.
I must admit that the instructions are incomplete.
And from the other side of the instructions you see a small story about Spartan.
So let's see the figure from close now.
And here we have, ladies and gentlemen, Spartan in his vehicle mode.
Spartan is based on the IDW comic Impactor character. He was the leader of the Wreckers!
So this is the vehicle mode. Nothing special about it, it's a weird type of tank.
As you can see he has a small gap here. He has nice details on the tank treads. Very nice sculpted details.
Though, his tank treads are not functional.
My only complain about the vehicle mode is that they didn't give us wheels under the tank treads.
Come on Mastermind Creations, we give you 100 euros for your figure, can't you give us four wheels under the tank treads??? -_-
As you can see it doesn't roll. Also, these pistons here restrict the movement of the turret.
My opinion, you don't need to have these pistons connected to the turret.
As you can see it's very hard to disconnect them as well. It's not easy to disconnect them.
I will try now to disconnect the second one as well.
Here you go.
He has this cannon here, and these two here, we can now imagine them as two smaller cannons.
Now you can fully rotate the turret 360 degrees as you can see.
You can also move the cannon up and down. No other articulation here.
I will give you a size comparison now.
Here you see Spartan next to Generations Sandstorm. As you can see, Sandstorm is a voyager class figure.
Spartan seems a little bit smaller than Sandstorm.
I would like to add that you can bring out these small cannons from here. In fact, these are his feet here.
You can also store his gun in this hole here.
You can also store his harpoon here but it looks a little bit silly.
So let's transform him into his robot mode now.
First, I will remove these pieces from here because they pop out very easily.
Remove his shoulder cannon as well. Disconnect the legs from here.
Connect them in this peg here.
Disconnect this piece from here and bring it up, like this.
Disconnect the feet from here and bring them down, like this.
This part here is a little bit confusing.
Bring the legs down.
Rotate the thigh 90 degrees from the upper part.
And then 90 degrees from the bottom part.
His thighs are very tight....!
90 degrees from the upper part and then 90 degrees from the bottom part.
Bring these pieces up as well.
This thigh here doesn't want to rotate.....it's veeeery tight!
I had to do it off-camera because it was extremely tight...! Disconnect the arms from here and open them like this.
Close these pieces backwards.
Disconnect this piece from here and bring it down.
And now we will try to pull out this piece from here. Which is very tight as well...
I hate it when you force things...I don't like it at all!
Once you took it out, bring it back and rotate it 180 degrees. Now rotate the waist 180 degrees.
Bring these pieces down.
Open the chest from here. Bring the head out and connect it in here.
Rotate the head to the other side.
These two purple pegs here will connect into these slots here.
Now we will use this joint here to connect the arms to the body.
Not the easiest part of the transformation...bring the arm down as well so it won't bother us.
These two pegs here will go into these holes here and these two white pegs will go into these holes here.
Once you've done it, fold out the arms.
Rotate them to the other side.
Place his shoulder cannon in this hole.
Place these bits behind his arms as well.
And Spartan is ready in his awesome robot mode!
Although I don't read the IDW comics, I have never read them, I don't know its story but this figure is amazing!
Wonderful, very beautiful figure! I bought it just for the robot mode!
I have also placed the Reprolabels stickers on him. As you can see I didn't put all of them.
He had these yellow markings when he was working in the mines with Megatron, before the war of Autobots and Decepticons.
I have kept him without the yellow markings. First of all, this bit here on his head is a sticker.
The Autobot symbol is a sticker.
These two blue bits here are stickers.
These two here on the shoulder cannon are stickers.
These blue bits here on his back are stickers.
These bits here on his knees are stickers.
Finally, these two here on his feet are stickers. Few and good stickers.
My only complain about his robot mode is that these pieces here pop out very easily and it's very annoying!
As for the articulation, his shoulder cannon can move up and down, it can also rotate.
His head can rotate 360 degrees, it can move up and down, it can tilt left and right.
His arms can rotate 360 degrees, they can move up and down, they rotate at this point here, we have double-jointed elbow.
The wrist is on a ball-joint so we have a nice range of motion. You can also rotate the fist.
There is also waist rotation. The legs can move forward until here.
Backwards, until here. Upwards, until here.
Down, they rotate at two points at the thighs, here and here.
They bend at the knee, the foot is on a ball-joint so we have a nice range of motion,
it can move up and down, left and right, it can rotate as well.
He has very nice articulation! He can also hold his gun perfectly fine.
Here you go.
And now we will use these accessories here. The fists are removable.
And you can place his harpoon.
Place it in here. And it will look like this.
You can also place his drill if you want.
And it will look like this. So let's see a size comparison now.
Here we have Spartan next to a Masterpiece figure, Masterpiece Ironhide and next to a leader class figure, Generations Jetfire!
Here you see Spartan next to two voyager class figures, Generations Roadbuster and Generations Springer.
As you understand, Spartan is a voyager class figure.
Finally, here is Spartan next to a voyager class figure, Generations Whirl and next to a deluxe class figure, Generations Drift!
Something that I forgot to show you about his foot articulation is that he also has toe articulation, it can move up, like this.
You can also bring these cannons out from his feet, for extra guns.
Let me give you a 360 of the figure. As you can see he doesn't have big backpack. Everything is well-designed on the figure!
Very beautiful figure. I also like the design of his head. Very beautiful! Great headsculpt!
So let's transform Spartan back into his vehicle mode.
First of all, you can still transform him with his harpoon or drill on but it will be easier to transform him if you have both of his fists.
First, remove his shoulder cannon.
Remove these pieces as well because they will pop out anyway! Rotate the arms to the other side.
Fold them inwards. And this peg here will tab into this hole here.
Rotate the fist in this direction as well.
Disconnect the chest.
Rotate the head to the other side. Disconnect it.
Disconnect the arms as well, bring them back, like this. Put the head inside here and connect the chest again.
Rotate this piece 180 degrees. And now rotate the waist 180 degrees.
Bring these pieces up so they won't bother us. This piece will tab here on the sides.
Connect this piece in here. Bring these pieces to the front, like this.
Rotate the arms, like this.
And now we will fold them inwards. This hole here will connect with this peg here.
Now we will connect them together.
Here you go.
Rotate the thigh from the upper part 90 degrees. And then 90 degrees from the bottom part.
90 degrees from the upper part, 90 degrees from the bottom part.
So what we will do next is...
...rotate the foot like this, this peg here will tab into this hole here.
Here you go.
Disconnect this piece from here and connect it in here, like this.
Bring the legs completely up. Disconnect the legs from here.
Bring them inwards and up as much as you can, like this.
Now close these pieces as well.
And now we will connect the legs with the rest part of the vehicle.
Place the cannon.
Place these piece as well.
Squeeze everything gently to ensure everything is in its place.
And Spartan is back into his vehicle mode!
Final thoughts...a wonderful figure. The robot mode is amazing!
As for his vehicle mode, even though it looks weird, I don't care about it.
Good plastic quality, nice articulation, his transformation is a little bit complicated but if you do it sometimes you get used to it.
The IDW comic fans will LOVE this figure! Surely, it's a figure that is worth being into your collection!

終於!在廣州搬了新家(兩男的幸福生活) - Duration: 3:47.Hello Hello !
Today is celebration day ! New house !
New house ?
New HOUSE ! ! !
Two things to say about it;
First, we have glasses above the coach ... could come handy, who knows.
And second ...
the little lovely touch that will bewitch Roméo
We have a FISH TANK !
But we only have two barely living fishes,
AND A TURNING WHEEL !
So our N°1 problem, is to find food.
So we go hunting fish food.
food ? Powder ? seeds !
We have no idea where we're going,
but that's the beauty of China !
You can find anything, anywhere, at all times !
* Hello my dear ladies, would you be so kind to tell me where I can find living fishes ?
my pleasure,
no surprise, someone around here sells fishes !
and it's here !
Good lovely morning my dear friends, are the the legendary fish sellers ?
They have quite a bunch of stuff to sell ..
And we know quite a bunch of nothing
Helloooo(=・ω・=)
There we go !
we have around 10 newcomers !
And they'll move to a new house too !
Today it's everybody's moving day ;)
they'll be a lot happier with us anyhow
oh, and we just learned that,
if you feed a fish too much it'll sink to death ...
And there is a saying in chinese that says, " i'm so full i'll sink to death"
Which most likely comes from that ?!
New house = New adress !
Finally have one ;)
So if you want to send something across the world, Welcome :)
Oh, and it's a storage place, so please avoid sending explosives if you can, we like better to receive those at home.
