Transtorno do espectro autista - Duration: 5:24.To the autistic disorder or simply autism,
we now call autism spectrum disorder.
This was probably the most controversial change that emerged
with the new Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,
most often called DSM.
The latest version, the DSM-V was published in 2013.
From this point onwards, global developmental disorders
including, for example, autistic disorder,
Asperger's disorder and Rett's disorder
were included in a single diagnosis, called autism spectrum disorder,
because they are considered to be only one condition,
varying only in the severity of the symptoms.
Let us then explain some characteristics of this disorder.
Autism spectrum disorder is considered a serious condition
in the sense that it impairs the development of the child
and changes the way the child experiences the world,
resulting in disabilities and difficulties that continue throughout life.
There are a wide variety of characteristics
identified and associated with this disorder,
but it is very important to note that not all
signs and symptoms are present in all cases,
nor do they always manifest in the same way,
having different degrees of severity and damage.
The particularities of the autistic spectrum are mainly focused
on the difficulty of establishing social relations and social interaction,
to communicate verbally and non-verbally
and at a behavioral and thinking level, such
as the absence or difficulties in imaginative play activities.
There are numerous clinical expressions that are associated with this disorder
and these vary according to the level of development and with chronological age.
Let's give some examples:
They tend to isolate themselves
Normally they don't imitate the behavior of others nor interact
and they can even present an apparent indifference to
the people and the environment that surrounds them.
It is common the lack of response to the affective
behaviors of others and to when people play with them.
For example, when someone smiles they don't associate it
with an emotional state or that the person is being kind,
they may also, for example, not stretch their arms
for the parents to remove them from the cradle
They may exhibit an obsessive relationship with objects
and don't use toys in their proper function ie
a doll, for example, may not serve to pack,
but to disassemble
Often show a great sensitivity to the stimuli:
sounds that are normal for us can bother them
They show a lot of resistance to changes in routines.
They like, for example, to always wake up at a certain time,
to repeat the procedures throughout the day and to organize
their toys in the order they stipulate
The variety of interests tends to be restricted, but, on the other hand,
they show an exaggerated interest in the subjects to which they give importance
They often present difficulties in controlling repeated behaviors.
They can, for example, be constantly waving their hands,
turning objects or moving their heads from side to side
And they also tend to have problems with speech:
they may find it difficult to find the right words to express themselves,
or they can speak correctly but not use language to communicate with others.
They can, for example, label an object, but not use the language
for a conversation with someone or share ideas or feelings.
The autistic spectrum is undoubtedly a
well-known and also well studied disorder.
Despite this, its
etiology remains unclear. However, there are several causes:
it is considered a neurodevelopmental disorder
and is the result of multifactorial dysfunctions
in the development of the central nervous system,
namely its structure and functions.
Genetic factors are also mentioned,
and genes seem to be predisposed to autism,
which explains the large number of cases among siblings.
Some pre-natal factors such as hyperthyroidism and congenital rubella
and also peri-natal factors such as prematurity,
low birth weight and birth trauma.
Environmental factors are also pointed out, although they are more contested
and there seems to be no empirical evidence to prove them,
such as environmental toxins, measles syndrome and the rubella vaccine.
It is now accepted that the emergence of autism
is not related to the type of education,
lack of stimulation to activities or result of
the interaction between parents and children.
This is a condition that occurs in all social strata, ethnicities and races.
And it tends to occur more in boys than in
girls, being the proportion of 5 boys for 1 girl.
There is no cure for autism.
Therefore, the limitations, as we have already
mentioned, accompany the person throughout life.
This is one of the main reasons why a correct diagnosis,
as early as possible, is so important.
Knowing the clinical picture is possible to find
the characteristics and difficulties of each case
and help, more effectively, the development of the child.
Early intervention and integration into school and community
are a very important asset and will make a difference in the lives of these children,
giving them the opportunity to have a better quality of life
and, in some situations, to live independently.

4 Reasons We Never Hear About Kaley Cuoco's Sister - Duration: 4:46.The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco is one of today's most popular actresses.
But you may not know everything about her — like the fact that she has a close relationship
with her younger sister, Briana.
Chances are you didn't even know Briana existed.
The younger Cuoco sister hasn't been talked about too much — especially in recent years.
Here's why.
Living in the shadows
It's not easy to get attention as an actor when your big sister becomes a Hollywood A-lister.
Kaley's been acting since the early '90s when started to book gigs for commercials, TV shows,
and movies, and she's only gotten more well-known over time.
Since then, she's landed significant roles on Charmed, 8 Simple Rules, and, of course,
her star-making series The Big Bang Theory.
So it's safe to say the elder Cuoco has been all over our TV screens for decades.
With all that success to compete with, it's hard not to fall by the wayside.
Briana didn't even start acting until a decade after her sister, when she received her first
credit alongside her sister in an episode of The Nightmare Room.
Her next job came a full 11 years later as "Neal's Girl" in an episode of The Newsroom.
While she's made red carpet appearances here and there with Kaley, it's obvious her big
sis is the shining star of the family.
And Briana often finds herself on the receiving end of questions about her sister's off-screen
life.
After Kaley's divorce from professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting in 2016 — after 21
months of marriage — reporters tapped Briana to find out how her sister was doing.
Briana was willing to indulge the inquiry, telling Entertainment Tonight that her big
sis had "never been better" after her bit split and that she hoped Kaley would find
someone "who makes her laugh and makes her feel comfortable and confident in what she's
made for herself in her life."
But while it's great to be able to learn more about the CBS darling from such a reliable
source, it can't be fun to be essentially labeled as an informant or as "Kaley's sister,"
instead of being recognized for your own achievements.
Briana often tags along to Kaley's public appearances as her plus-one.
But while you'd think this would bolster the younger sibling's popularity, that's hardly
been the case.
Briana may receive nods for her edgy, rocker-chic style, but all eyes remain fixed on her fabulous
older sister.
The Voice
Briana Cuoco might be attempting to follow in her sister's Hollywood footsteps, but she
also has dreams of becoming a professional singer.
As Briana told Extra, "We always talked and dreamt about me singing the first song at
her wedding."
And Briana's earned some respect from those in her sister's inner circle.
Kaley's Big Bang Theory co-star Mayim Bialik told Access Hollywood that little sis "is
phenomenal.
She's very, very talented."
Meanwhile, Sheldon actor Jim Parsons playfully agreed, saying, "We give Kaley a lot of hell
like 'Oh so finally the world is going to see the really talented Cuoco!'"
And Briana has made some progress toward her goals.
She released a debut album titled Bluebird in 2013.
Unfortunately, the project didn't take off, despite some positive reviews on iTunes.
Despite the setback, she continued to pursue a career in entertainment.
Briana auditioned for The Voice in 2013, singing Lady Gaga's "You & I." Coaches CeeLo Green
and Christina Aguilera both spun their massive red chairs around for Briana, who opted to
join Aguilera's team — but it wasn't a Hollywood ending for the edgier Cuoco.
She lost in the battle rounds, only to be miraculously saved by country star Blake Shelton.
But then she got the boot in the knockouts.
After singing No Doubt's "Don't Speak," Briana struggled to maintain an even tone during
her matchup with another contender.
And to add salt to the wound, she spent most of her time on The Voice fielding questions
about her sister.
"She actually, to be honest with you, has been telling me to do it for years.
Since the beginning, 'You have to be on 'The Voice', it's the best show, blah blah blah
blah blah!"
"And the opportunity came and timing was everything."
Behind the scenes
Kaley may be the star of the show, but she's not the only one working on set.
In November 2012, at her sister's request, Briana choreographed a dance routine for The
Big Bang Theory's cast and crew.
The gang surprised showrunners with their flash mob performance, and Briana's work did
not go unnoticed by executive producer Chuck Lorre.
The showrunner later hired her to choreograph a dance number for his other hit show, Two
and a Half Men.
This isn't the first time the youngest Cuoco has worked behind the scenes.
She was Kaley's personal assistant before she broke out into the entertainment business
herself, and she seems to be doing well since her transition to Tinseltown.
Briana shared her grounded take on the entertainment industry with Us Weekly in 2013, saying, "People
open doors all the time for people, but you have to be the one to close them, no matter
what."
Sin City reboot
Another reason we haven't seen or heard much about Briana lately is that she's been busy
performing — in Las Vegas.
Kaley's little sister earned a starring role in The Venetian's show BAZ—Star-Crossed
Love.
The production is musical mash-up of director Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge,
and The Great Gatsby.
Kaley visited Briana backstage after one of her September 2016 shows, and praised Briana
and her co-stars' performance on social media.
Big sister Kaley is definitely starting to pay back all that career support she's been
given over the years, and production is projected to continue through June 2017.
After that, she'll get another chance to decide which entertainment lane she chooses to travel
down next.
So maybe she'll become a little more visible to the mainstream sooner than later...

The History Of Every Canceled Batman Movie - Duration: 8:34.The Caped Crusader's ongoing film saga ranks among the top five highest-grossing movie
franchises in the United States.
But he's also faced his share of setbacks along the way.
For every Bat-blockbuster that made its way to theaters, there's a take on the character
that unceremoniously died in development.
Here's the history behind every one of those canceled Batman movies.
The Batman
Getting Tim Burton's 1989 Batman onto the big screen was a difficult process.
Ten years before Michael Keaton made his Dark Knight debut, producers Benjamin Melniker
and Michael Uslan acquired the film rights to Batman so they could adapt the character
in the same vein as Superman.
They wanted to have a definitive, dark version of Batman on film, and producers Jon Peters
and Peter Guber agreed when they boarded the project in November 1979.
Four years later, the script by James Bond and Superman screenplay co-writer Tom Mankiewicz,
simply titled The Batman, was completed, focusing on Batman and Robin's origins, with the Joker
as the central villain.
While the Batman/007 version of Batman would have been awesome, the project went through
multiple developers and producers, losing bits and pieces along the way.
In the end, the studio hired Tim Burton to direct, who felt the treatment was too similar
to Superman and would be a better fit for a TV series.
He changed virtually every aspect of the movie, so while they didn't get everything they wanted,
the producers still got their darker version of Batman on the silver screen.
It just took a decade to make it happen.
Robin's spinoff
When Chris O'Donnell joined the franchise as Robin for 1995's Batman Forever, he seemed
poised for a long run as the character.
He returned for 1997's Batman & Robin, and planned to reprise his role in a possible
fifth film, but that never came to fruition.
Warner Bros. also briefly pursued a Robin spinoff, which O'Donnell confirmed as recently
as 2012.
As he told Access Hollywood,
"They were going to do [a Robin movie] back in the day.
Then [Batman & Robin] was such a bomb, they were like, 'Scrap that!'
That was the end of that."
Batman Unchained
Joel Schumacher told Variety that he'd always planned to make three Batman movies.
But unfortunately for everyone involved in Schumacher's Bat-saga, Batman & Robin tanked,
sending the franchise into years of development hell, and leaving that third movie unrealized.
The problems weren't just at the box office however.
Akiva Goldsman, who wrote the screenplays for Schumacher's first two Bat-flicks, opted
not to return for the next installment.
I Am Legend screenwriter Mark Protosevich took Goldsman's place and came up with the
name Batman Unchained, which focused on Scarecrow as the central villain.
Schumacher wanted Nicolas Cage play the fear-inducing bad guy, saying that he owed the world, quote,
"a real Batman movie."
But Batman & Robin crashed and burned, taking Batman Unchained with it.
Changing course completely, Warner Bros. started looking into the idea of making a Batman Beyond
or Batman: Year One film instead.
Batman: DarKnight
Writers Lee Shapiro and Stephen Wise had an idea for a full Bat-reboot.
This time, instead of Batman and Robin in their primes, the duo wanted to see Batman
retired, with Dick Grayson attending college.
In the proposed film, Dr. Jonathan Crane, better known as the Scarecrow, still played
a prominent role as a professor of psychology at Gotham University.
Also appearing?
Dr. Kirk Langstrom, who turns into the monstrous Man-Bat.
The two doctors get into a confrontation, and Crane accidentally initiates Kirk's transformation
into his bat-like form.
After seeing Man-Bat terrorize Gotham and —that the city's residents are mistaking
him for the real Batman — the Dark Knight comes out of retirement to clear his name.
The darker idea was pitched to the studio, but after being passed through multiple levels
of approval and a few confirmations from producers, the studio's director of development passed
on the movie.
Batman: Year One
Schumacher still wanted to give Batman fans a proper Caped Crusader, and his planned adaptation
of Frank Miller's Batman: Year One might have fulfilled that goal.
Ultimately, the studio parted ways with Schumacher and went with Requiem for a Dream director
Darren Aronofsky instead.
After hiring Aronofsky, the studio bolstered the project's pedigree further by bringing
Frank Miller himself on board to script.
In an interview with IGN, Aronofsky urged fans to, quote,
"...toss out everything you can imagine about Batman!
Everything!
We're starting completely anew."
Unfortunately, the studio didn't get into Miller's version of the script, so they hired
the Wachowskis of Matrix fame to write a treatment.
Again, the studio wasn't satisfied, so they turned to Joss Whedon, whose take also didn't
pass muster with the studio.
They finally ended up shelving the idea altogether in 2002.
Batman Beyond
Warner Bros. also floated the idea of making a Batman Beyond film inspired by the hit animated
show, which had debuted in 1999.
Bruce Timm and Paul Dini's series featured Terry McGinnis, a teenager who takes over
the mantle of Batman under the guidance of a retired Bruce Wayne.
The studio's movie division liked Batman Beyond so much that they wanted to make a live-action
version for the big screen.
They hired Remember the Titans director Boaz Yakin to helm the project, with Dini writing
the script.
Sources told Variety in 2000 that a Batman Beyond film didn't interfere with Warner Bros.'
plans to continue with a fifth Batman movie, but that changed quickly.
By August 2001, Dini said that the studio had shelved the live-action adaptation.
What's more, later that year the Batman Beyond animated series was cancelled.
Batman vs. Superman: Asylum
Long before Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hit the big screen, Warner
Bros. previously had plans to pit the DC Universe's two biggest heroes against each other.
Andrew Kevin Walker, who penned the incredibly dark Se7en, pitched an idea that involved
Batman coming out of retirement, shortly after his wife's death, to join a recently-divorced
Superman.
Until, of course, they're duped by Lex Luthor into fighting each other.
Sound familiar?
Akiva Goldsman, returning to the franchise once more, revised Walker's script in 2002,
which was enough to convince Warner Bros. to move forward with the project.
At least for a little while.
Wolfgang Petersen, director of Air Force One and The NeverEnding Story, intended to direct
the film in 2003.
But the project was derailed when JJ Abrams jumped into the fray with a script for a movie
called Superman: Flyby, which included a very different version of the Man of Steel.
According to Petersen, the studio decided to try separate versions of Superman and Batman
instead, resulting in Superman Returns and Batman Begins.
Justice League: Mortal
2017's Justice League wasn't the first attempt to bring Batman and the rest of the "league"
to the big screen.
In 2009, the first plan to bring D.C.'s heroes together came awfully close to hitting theaters.
Written by Kieran and Michele Mulroney, Justice League: Mortal was to be helmed by Mad Max
director George Miller.
Its cast included D.J.
Cotrona as Superman, Armie Hammer as Batman, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Adam Brody as
the Flash, Common as Green Lantern, and Teresa Palmer as Talia al Ghul, with Jay Baruchel
playing the villain Maxwell Lord.
Cameras were ready to roll, but the writers' strike of the late 2000s put a damper on the
movie.
The overwhelming success of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight convinced Warner Brothers
that a Justice League - with a different Batman - simply wouldn't work.
Justice League: Mortal is the Justice League movie that never was..
So when you're watching Ben Affleck throw down with Khal Drogo, just think about how
much crazier it would've been if the director of Mad Max had gotten to the League first…
"Yeah!"
"Oh, what a day!
What a lovely day!"

Roger Courtney and a Watery Gamble - The Establishing of the SBS - Duration: 7:01.Roger Courtney and a Watery Gamble - The Establishing of the SBS
Described by the BBC as the "Shadowy sister of the SAS", The Special Boat Service (more
commonly known as the SBS) is likely one of the most well-trained and elite special forces
units around today that few in the world have ever heard of, despite performing countless
harrowing missions, dozens of hostage rescues and more than its fair share of daring night
time raids going all the way back to WWII when an officer by the name of Roger "Jumbo"
Courtney risked a court-martial to demonstrate to his superiors just how valuable a unit
like the SBS could be.
Little is documented about Courtney's life prior to his military service in WWII other
than that he was an avid big game hunter and adventurer in Africa for a number of years.
This is particularly important to the story at hand as he often regaled his fellow soldiers
with stories about hunting lions and other big game in a canoe.
When Courtney heard about the outbreak of WWII, he returned to Scotland and enlisted
in the military; sometime in 1940, he began serving with the now defunct No 8 Guards unit.
Almost as soon as he became a commando with the No 8's, Courtney managed to score a
meeting with the Admiral of the Fleet, Roger Keyes.
In the meeting, Courtney tried to sell the sceptical Admiral on the benefit of using
canoes to quite literally "hunt Germans".
He argued that small, collapsible canoes could be used to silently sneak where powered boats
could not.
Keyes summarily dismissed Courtney's proposal, stating that canoes were better suited for
the boy scouts than the army.
Undeterred by Admiral Keyes' lack of vision, Courtney arranged for a meeting with another
high-ranking military official, Admiral Theodore Hallett, in the hopes that he would see the
benefit of the proposal.
Like Keyes, Hallett dismissed Courtney's idea outright.
Frustrated with how quick his superiors had been to dismiss his proposal, Courtney, later
described by Major David Sutherland as "a hard-drinking white hunter with a big line
of bullshit and a persuasive tongue", came to the conclusion that the only way to prove
that his idea could work was to put it into practise.
HMS Glengyle HMS Glengyle
Four days after his failed meeting with Admiral Hallett, Courtney silently paddled a canoe
along the River Clyde and stealthily climbed aboard the HMS Glengyle.
Once aboard, Courtney sneaked his way to the Captain's quarters and scribbled his initials
on the door.
Just for good measure, before leaving he stole one of the ship's deck gun covers, which
had the ship's name on it.
Courtney then slyly slipped away undetected and made a beeline for the nearby Argyll Arms
Hotel where he knew Admiral Hallett was currently meeting some military bigwigs.
Once there, Courtney waltzed up to Hallett's private room, reportedly dressed only in a
pair of swimming trunks, barged in and proudly proclaimed that he'd just managed to sneak
aboard the Glengyle and make it to the captain's quarters unmolested.
When the captain of the Glengyle, who just so happened to be present at the meeting,
scoffed that his ship could be infiltrated in such a way, Courtney unrolled the deck
gun cover and placed it on the table.
Although Courtney had committed a potentially court-martial-able offence, as well as risked
getting himself mistaken for an enemy and shot during the infiltration of the Glengyle,
the fact that he'd been able to do this and make it to the captain's quarters without
being spotted during war time while half naked to boot, so impressed his superiors that they
reconsidered their stance on how effective soldiers with foldable canoes could be.
SBS-canoeAfter his stunt, Courtney was asked to provide another demonstration, this time
sanctioned, infiltrating a submarine depot ship.
When that was successful as well, he was promoted and given command of 12 men, who he then trained
in clandestine operations and the use of the "fol-boat", a collapsible canoe made of
rubber and wood that could be assembled or broken down rapidly.
The "fol-boat brigade", as it was then known, carried out numerous missions during
WWII, most notably paddling into an enemy port near the mouth of the Gironde and destroying
several key ships harboured there in an operation that Winston Churchill claimed accelerated
the end of the war by "six months".
As for Courtney, despite being highly involved in the gruelling training of the first waves
of SBS commandos, he wasn't with the force very long, having to return to the U.K. due
to health issues.
He was ultimately relegated to a desk job and died just a few years after the war ended.
Today his legacy lives on in the form of one of the most highly trained and terrifyingly
effective units of soldiers on Earth.
To join either the SAS or SBS you have to pass an infamously brutal and unforgiving
selection process which involves a month of gruelling physical exercise culminating in
a 40 km march across the harshest terrain Britain has to offer.
Nine weeks of training in the jungle.
Fourteen weeks of training in demolitions, reconnaissance and a variety of other advanced
combat tactics.
The process then culminates in something known as "Survive, Evade, Resist, Extract" training
which involves releasing the recruits into the woods where they are hunted down by Royal
Marines who will then interrogate them for several weeks using sleep, food, water and
sensory deprivation.
If a recruit fails during any one of these or gives any answer other than their name,
rank, date of birth or army number, during the interrogation process, they will fail.
Additionally, recruits hoping to join the SBS are required to undertake several more
months of water-based training which involves learning how to do such amazing things as
infiltrate and exit submarines while they are submerged, and diving out of planes into
freezing cold water in near zero visibility.
Unsurprisingly, over 90% of recruits who apply for the SBS or SAS fail.
Recruits hoping to join the SBS or SAS can only apply a maximum of two times before they're
barred from ever trying again.
The SBS and SAS work in alternative six month long shifts, during which they will train
constantly to keep their skills as sharp as possible.
These training sessions are understandably rather secretive, but are known to involve
live fire trainings exercises and mock raids on potential terrorist targets to test their
security.
In one such mock raid, members of the SBS broke into a nuclear power plant in Scotland
in less than a minute, exposing various issues with security at that plant.
In regards to live fire training exercises, both the SBS and SAS are said to always train
using live ammo and often use real people as hostages.
The SAS in particular is known to invite foreign dignitaries to take part in these exercises
to demonstrate their skill and composure.
For anyone wondering about the difference between the two units, while both the SAS
and SBS are fairly analogous in terms of their reputation, skill and basic training, as their
names would suggest, the Special Air Service specialise in aerial combat and parachuting,
whereas the Special Boat Service has an affinity for water-based and amphibious combat.
That said, the SBS has been known to take part in land-based missions when the need
arises and vice versa.
Both units also set aside a small, constantly rotating contingent of men for counter-terrorism
duties who are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Despite their close proximity to one another, the relationship between the SBS and SAS is
a notably chilly one with both units displaying various levels of animosity towards one another.

Capitalism 2.0 Will Include a Healthy Dose of Socialism | Eric Weinstein - Duration: 11:26.I get asked a lot about the state of capitalism and I think that for those members of society
of a certain age we think of capitalism as being locked in an ideological battle with
socialism perhaps or even communism. But we never really saw that capitalism might be
defeated by its own child – technology.
And I think that what we find is that even the most diehard free market economists usually
save place for what they call market failure.
That is, markets really only work when the value of something and the price of that object
or service coincide.
So the key question is: what causes value and price to get out of alignment?
And, in fact, every government on earth has a form of levying taxes of some form, because
at some level there are certain things that need to be paid for that cannot, in fact,
be priced where they must be valued.
So, for example, raising a standing army is tough because if somebody chooses not to pay
for it it's very difficult to exclude them from the protection of that army.
So that in general—what we find is that these market failures are found in every economy,
but they are also hopefully a small portion of the economic activity so that we can deal
with them as a special edge case.
Now the problem with this is that technology appears to do something about figuring out
the size of that small slice and making it rather large.
So, for example, if I record a piece of music, once upon a time if you wanted a high quality
version of that music you had to go to the folks who actually pressed the record albums.
But now I can record music with arbitrary fidelity and share it as a small file.
And my having a copy of that file doesn't preclude anyone else from copying the file
and using it themselves.
There's no question that the number of times I use that file doesn't really degrade the
file because it's, in fact, digital.
So in that situation musicians were among the first to feel the earth crumble beneath
their feet and they had to find new business models because, in fact, they found that they
had gone from producing a private good where price and value coincided to producing a public
good.
And the idea of taxing people to pay for both an army and their diet of jazz and rock n'
roll probably didn't make a lot of sense.
So the danger is that more and more things are being turned into small files, and that
means that the portion of the pie that is private goods is likely to shrink.
This is one of several different forces.
Another one that I talked about in an essay called Anthropic Capitalism is that software
has some very peculiar features.
Traditionally technology has moved us from low value occupations into higher value occupations.
So while we always decry the loss of jobs we usually create new jobs which are more
fulfilling and less taxing.
And therefore those who have cried wolf when they've seen technology laying waste to
the previous occupations, those people have usually just been wrong.
The problem with software is that software spends most of its time in loops.
Almost all code can be broken into two kinds of code.
Code that runs once and never repeats and code that loops over and over and over.
Unfortunately what jobs are is usually some form of a loop where somebody goes to work
and does some version of whatever it is they've been trained to do every day.
Now the danger of that is that what we didn't realize is that our technical training for
occupations maneuvers the entire population into the crosshairs of software.
It's not just a question in this case of being moved from lower value repetitive behaviors
into higher ones.
But the problem is is that all repetitive behaviors are in the crosshairs of software.
So it's not that there's nowhere to go; we still have the Rube Goldberg sections of
code, where something will happen only once.
You know: a company will be founded, never to be repeated.
A poem will be composed that will never need to be recomposed.
But the problem here is that most people don't see themselves as opportunists in this positive
sense, right.
They don't see themselves as capable of doing these one off acts of inspiration, which
will probably always be fairly highly rewarded.
They see themselves as needing a repetitive behavior on which they can build their families,
their hopes and their dreams.
And in general that may be coming to a close.
Even if that's always been false in the past I think that there's excellent reason
to think that the era may have changed.
When we lost the ability to beat computers at chess we immediately thought of Go as being
a deeper game.
But that bought us a very small respite from the power of the computer.
And I don't even know of anyone searching for new games more human-friendly than Go
to maintain our edge.
So I think it's really important to understand that where we are is that we may need a hybrid
model in the future which is paradoxically more capitalistic than our capitalism of today
and perhaps even more socialistic than our communism of yesteryear, because so many souls
will require respect and hope and freedom and choice who may not be able to defend themselves
in the market as our machines and our software gets better and better.
And this is one of the reasons why something like universal basic income comes out of a
place fiercely capitalistic like Silicon Valley, because despite the fact that many view the
technologists as mercenary megalomaniacs, in fact, these are the folks who are closest
to seeing the destruction that their work may visit upon the population.
And I don't know I think of any 9, 10 or 11-figure individual at the moment that I'm
familiar with who isn't worrying about what we're going to do to take care of those
who may not be able to meet their expectations with training and jobs as in previous models.
Whether it's truck and car-driving is one of the largest employers of working age men
threatened by self-driving vehicles or any of the other examples.
For example: computers that are capable of writing sports stories from the scores alone.
So in all of these cases I think the technology is actually forcing those who are most familiar
with it to become most compassionate.
And whether or not we are going to leaven our capitalism with some communism or start
from some sort of socialist ideal and realize that if we don't find a way to grow our
pie very aggressively with the tiny number of individuals who are capable of taking over
operations of great complexity, I think that we are going to have some kind of a hybrid
system.
I wish I could tell you what it was going to look like but the fact is nobody knows.
Universal basic income is very interesting but is clearly a first step and I would say
really a first draft of a part of a theory that we just don't have yet.
It's hard to say whether I'm optimistic about the future.
I'm very confused as to why our government is still populated with so many soft – let
me try it again.
Honestly I'm rather confused about whether to be optimistic or pessimistic.
One of the things that I find most perplexing is that our government is still populated
by people who come from sort of softer disciplines if you will.
Whether that's law, whether these people come from poly-sci, very few people in government
come from a hard core technical background.
There are very few senators who could solve a partial differential equation or representatives
who could program a computer.
And I think that this is really a terrible inversion of what should be happening.
As the world becomes more technically demanding it's important that the children of engineers,
mathematicians and scientists grow up with the children of politicians or executives.
And what we've seen is we've seen this terrible economic stratification where the
technical professions were turned into support roles for this different leadership class.
Now during the 50s, for example, we would have university presidents who might come
from a physics background such as we had at the University of Pennsylvania.
The atomic bomb came out of World War II, as did radar.
We came to understand the incredible power of computers like ENIAC and during that period
of time there was a tremendous vogue for thinking of a technical intellectual elite that could,
in fact, lead us into a more hopeful and technological scientific tomorrow.
Somewhere along the line that got lost and I'm very concerned that we have the technical
talent to build an optimistic future, but that what for whatever reason we're so terrified
now of those technical folks that we keep attempting to subordinate them, to keep them
on a leash, to make sure that they are not the ones in the know with power, with decision-making
abilities.
And I think that if you look at a society like China's, China's certainly not falling
for this trap and they are proceeding along a very different path.
So I think whether or not we understand where we are and we make the correct decisions for
the optimistic future depends as to whether we have the right leadership class.
Do we view our technical people as support staff for the true decision-makers or do we
realize that, in fact, these are the people who should have been making the decisions
all along?
I think if you think about, for example, the Challenger disaster it was the management
class that didn't understand the real risks.
The engineers knew just how much risk was being taken.
And I think that, in fact, if we could just invert that relationship we'd have a much
better chance at an optimistic outcome.

MANE CONCEPT PERFECT EDGE 05 REVIEW |FT BODIEDBYKEIRA - Duration: 4:40.Hi, Queens welcome to the channel. I'm sheena. I go by queen she today
I'm going to be sharing this gorgeous unit from main concept with you. This is also a collaboration with body by [Keira]
She is a familiar face on my channel. We've collabed two to three other times
She has been with me from day one. She was a first collaboration. I ever did she's somebody
I really really [admire] and look up to she slays every unit even once she doesn't think she's slang
She slays like she look at her. She's gorgeous. She looks good at everything if you like my content
You're definitely going [to] love her so head over to her channel
subscribe and tell her that queen she said you
Let's get into today's unit. This is a unit from main concept as [their] brown-sugar
Collection this style name is perfect Edge 05 I received her in a color [Sr1b]
honey, [ash]
Which is one of the prettiest colors I've ever ever seen the premise behind the perfect edge
units is that they're half wig units that are designed to help you protect your
Edges and your leave out and
To help your leave out blend and more seamlessly with the half
Wig and the Dark roots of course help with that
this is what the [hairline] looks like it lies very flat, so there's no more bulky look and
Giving away the fact that you're wearing a half way used to wearing some half wigs as full wig so I'm going to show you
How that would look now I?
tell you I
feel like
a diva in this hair
It's a combination between the color the curls just
the overall Style the construction the
Quality the softness of the hair like all that was giving me life
there's one large comb that goes across the
forehead region two smaller combs in the back and
There are not adjustable straps however. There is a drawstring in the back by the combs, so that's how you adjust the size of this
Unit it's definitely big head friendly for that reason. There's plenty of room in this
Cap and it is a breathable cap which is also a plus now straight out [of] the pack
The hair was it was cute. That's me feeling myself had to replay it
the Hair was
Not as big as I wanted her to be also
[you] had to fluff the hair out to make sure all the tracks are on the cap were hidden. So that's what I did I
Got a wide [toothed] comb and I kind of teased the root out a little bit
but then I use [my] fingers to tease the curls out like so and
The end result I was really really super happy with
This with a very minimal [amount] of leave out like honestly
I've never had to take a little hair out to make a unit happy now
Look as natural as I was able to make this look with very little hair out. It was going to be
Challenging to blend my hair and just because of my [co] pattern being a little different plus the length of my hair
is pretty short so
This is with very little weave out and when I wear this unit out
I wear it with a bang which helps you don't have to take a lot of hair out
I think that's one huge plus of this unit and
you can style it into like a top bun like so
[I]
think that
Having flexibility being able to part it on either side is really fun
You could cut a bang and then you don't worry about the edges at all I
Love the versatility I've worn her [out] a few times. I get a lot of compliments people. Think it's my real hair and
I
Highly highly recommend it. It's now my current favorite unit period Like I need this in every color
So I definitely recommend this unit
but let me know what y'all think down below in the description box like comment subscribe if you're not already part of the queendom [and]
Don't forget to check out my girl BodiedByKeira Queens
She sent you until next time don't forget to love each other queens. Bye

Hi Mama
Hi disgrace, I mean hi David I made you some breakfast.
Please tell me you made me earthworms.

I made my special soosages.
I'm sick of the soosages, you make soosages everyday, look they're not even cooked!
Now you listen to me son, you never appreciate anything I do, I left those soosages out to
defrost for 12 hrs and who put them back in the freezer?
You?
Thats right!
You!
Now you better pick 'em up and eat 'em before I call the CPS to pick you up and take you
to your dad's house!
Um, if you're thinking to dump him on me, I don't want him.
GET OUT OF MY HOOOOUUSE!
Uh, no, I just wanted extension on child support!
I have to eat that now, no problem.
Moooom What do you want?
Im rethinking the decisions I've made in my life, and I don't think I should've eaten
that soosage.
Why, what's wrong with my soosages?
Well…
I think it's given me breasts.
Yes, that's because I put a cup of estrogen hormone in each soosage.
I wanted a girl, and I'm gonna get my girl, one way or another.
I don't like my life right now, that's all I'm gonna say.
Well, why are you on the floor?
Cuz I'm a slug… and I can't get up.
Last time I hear that was when you were 4 years old, you still think you're a slug?
Ok, you know what MoOoOoOom, I'll tell you something MoOoOoOoOom!
(ice cream truck plays) ICE CREEEEAAAM!
My boobs are in the way.
(still struggling)
Forget it, I think he's gone.
Mom...
(Mom gyrating hips) Mom… mom…
MOM!
MOOOOM!
Fine I'll go poop by myself!
(Questionable behavior)
OK, i think this is where i cross the line.
Where'd my breast go?
So that was the adventure.
I suffer through the constant disapproval of everyone, but one day I'll make it, whether
it's by science, or technology, or magic, or hallucinations, one day I'm gonna be a slug.
So that was my story.
I hope you enjoyed it.
I can't turn off the camera.
Nooo-!
