It was recorded in the Steinman Hall Recording Studio on the campus of Bethany College, WV.
Rock Ensemble is a course that students can take for credit and realize their original songs in a professional studio setting.
Not only that, students who don't write their own songs can participate in the performances and recordings of songs by other members of the group.
Members of Rock Ensemble learn the ins and outs of writing, arranging, and learning songs.
They learn recording studio techniques and protocol.
They also get exposed to the technical world of the recording studio control room and what audio engineers do.
And when we have the right mix of players and singers, we perform this material live in concerts at Bethany and elsewhere.
You don't have to be a music major to participate in Rock Ensemble,
but we do have two music-related degree programs:
The Bachelor of Arts in Music BA is a foundational liberal arts degree that provides a broad basis for further study in music, but also a wide enough scope to provide a solid foundation for careers and study in other fields. Our student musicians go on to law school and medical school, in addition to performing for thousands on the stages of Europe and North America, for example.
The other degree is the Bachelor of Arts in Music Technology that provides a solid academic and performance preparation while focusing on the technical aspects of music recording, live sound, and a variety of media experiences in this interdisciplinary program sponsored by the Music Program and the Communications & Media Arts Department.
In addition to Rock Ensemble we also have choir, band, and guitar ensembles--
and sometimes others depending on student interests!
Our faculty are all professional performers in music that ranges from classical to heavy metal, as well as popular and country.

you got a couple kill streaks you got parachuters you got the flamethrower and
you got kind of like a new predator missile and as you see on the bottom
left this is hard point and if you tell about a layout or the map in general has
pinks on it or I believe those are Sam turrets so this is a new map so as we
look here to sector screenshot it shows a little triangle it says your zero zero
I guess the time is up but I'm guessing that's where the hard point is going to
be on the map which is really really good it's something very different we
never seen like a triangle you know type of objective point so that's going to
make it more clear to what you're going towards so all in all the STG looks
clean as well I like how it looks is making me feel good about the game it
seems pretty powerful also I'm guessing this right here is either the grease gun
or the ppsh I can't really tell right now but it's most likely the PPS a
cheeto from the bottom left corner I talked about this in another video but I
didn't show you guys gameplay so here is gameplay of that as well sorry guys

So let's get into dictionaries and that's gonna end the subseries I guess
of types, this is going to be the last type that we're going to talk about. So
let's go ahead and open up a terminal here and jump into Python. Now the
previous video when we created a list we used square brackets and we entered
comma-separated values in there which became our list,
however in order to create a dictionary we're going to open up sand close curly
brackets here. Now in a previous video I told you guys that we don't use curly
brackets in Python and that was a lie, and just so you know there's going to be
a few of those throughout this course, so keep your eyes open for them. What I meant to
say, and just to clarify, you don't wrap code blocks in curly brackets like you do in
PHP and JavaScript. Instead the only use that Python has for curly brackets is to
define a dictionary. So, rather than entering comma-separated values we're
going to enter comma for separated values but each one of those is going to
be a key and a value, so let's go ahead and create one. Let's create a person so the name is
going to be {"name": "Nick", "age": is 27, "hobby": "code"} and that
becomes our dictionary. Now, again, you can...you can access, I had tried to do that
the JavaScript way here which you put a dot and then the name of the key that
you're looking for,
in Python you do it like this kind of like when you define an index number
here. If you were to do this it wouldn't be able to find it because it's not a
list but with an array we would have done that, in here we just type
the name of the value we want. So name is going to print out "Nick" if we put in age
that's going to print out "27" and if we enter hobby that's going to print out
"code" and so that's how to define a dictionary and how to retrieve certain
values from the dictionary.
This is also going to become a very useful later on once we get to, well once
we get JSON itself because we are going to do a video on JSON, but also once we
start once we start working with a lot of data some of it's, some
of it we're going to explicitly convert into JSON data just so we can parse it
like this because this is one of the easiest ways to parse data is using

So he went to fight Vasistha and to realize he couldn't [win].
His worldly power, even with his own army, could not defeat a Sage.
It's someone who has mastered their inner and thus outer world and has the spiritual
power to do anything that they want.
So after he was defeated and humiliated.
Like I said, different versions of the story, so please go ahead and research your own.
Then he realized, "Oh.
I need that.
I need that spiritual power.
I need that power because that's the only way I'm going to be able to get out and master
what I want in this world."
"And I want to have that.
That multi-dimensional power."
So he then decided to go into deep meditation and did attain his sainthood and did go on
to bless the world with many different things, including the Gayatri mantra, and now of course
the Brzee Mantra that he gave directly to Dr. Pillai to distribute in the world.
So we are so blessed that these amazing beings, both ascended and living, have given us the
gift of this mantra.
And it is our duty to use that mantra to the best of our abilities, as much as possible
in order to truly get the blessings to what that might give us.
So, I encourage you to dive in and begin your practice.

The Natural Flow of Pyre - SkipToGame - Duration: 5:01.
Reaching the end of Pyre is effortless.
No, I don't mean to say that it's a cake-walk or mindless or whatever other description
you were thinking of.
What I mean is, the way that Pyre is structured and the pace at which it moves, makes playing
through to the end feel… well… effortless… and it's not the first game from this studio
to feel that way.
Pyre is the third game developed and published by Supergiant Games.
If you aren't familiar with their work so far, you really should be.
They have made lightning strike not once or twice, but three times now.
It started with Bastion, then Transistor, and now Pyre.
The three titles share some things in common, like beautiful visuals and amazing soundtracks,
but perhaps the best quality of all, is just how well they flow as you play.
Bastion has thrilling, edge of your seat combat sections and a smooth-voiced narrator.
Transistor has stunning visuals, jaw-dropping music and an upgrade system that encourages
creativity.
But let's focus on Pyre, as I feel that it's the best out of the three when it comes
to putting the player into a state of "flow".
Pyre achieves this by always giving you something to do, without being overwhelming.
Much like any other RPG, there is always some task that needs to be taken care of.
However, here it's different because the things that you're doing are varied and
interesting, which is a stark contrast to some other games I've played recently.
Namely Mass Effect Andromeda and Horizon Zero Dawn.
Before someone out there gets riled up and makes a beeline for the comments section,
I'm not saying those games are bad, they're simply examples.
In Andromeda, there were many times where I felt that I was completing side quests simply
to check them off of the list and not because I wanted to see how they played out.
As for Horizon, there are moments between story beats where it feels like I'm just
following an objective marker, rather than being compelled to move forward.
Compare those to Pyre, which has me spending hour after hour in it's world because I'm
constantly feeling engaged.
It's because the campaign is segmented in such a way that there is always something
interesting after each click.
You're never too far away from the next Rite, and along the way you'll choose between
splits in the path that offer different things.
You might step out with one of the characters to search for an item or pay respects at an
altar.
You might even come across a new character and have them join your roster, which adds
an entirely new playstyle to try out.
Even when you reach your destination, there is something to do before you start the Rite.
There might be someone to talk to, or a new item in the shop, or a character's trial
to complete.
Pyre presents all of these options to you basically one at a time, and by doing so,
avoids weighing you down with too many options.
It keeps things feeling fresh.
There are other things about Pyre that help to emphasize the game's flow.
Such as the absolutely brilliant soundtrack from Darren Korb.
It has a great variety of musical styles ranging from minstrel style folk tunes to an all out
punk rock track.
Every piece has it's spot in the story and perfectly matches the current mood.
Music in games is a very important tool used to help draw players into the world, and Darren
Korb is a master of the craft.
Pyre is an amazing game from top to bottom.
Supergiant's track record had me excited to play this from the moment it was announced,
but I had no idea that I would end up enjoying it this much.
The fact that it's so easy to spend hours playing it is possibly the biggest reason
why.
The way it flows so naturally is going to keep me invested during my multiple journeys
through the Downside.
