Woo....hoo...hoo, and of course in

celebration, as promised we're gonna do a massive

giveaway, and let me tell you I've collected

these things for the past four years

I know it is pretty insane, but everything that

I've picked, I feel like you know, they mean something

and I feel like they should mean something to

you guys because these are products that

I enjoy, I like and I hope you guys will like them too

but without further ado, just go straight into it,

because there's a ton of products! There will be multiple

it's super simple, I'll list all the details down below

because you guys know I love Hello Kitty even though

I'm like so old people think that you're too old

to like Hello Kitty, but trust me Hello Kitty is timeless

So I wanted to include something Hello Kitty, and this is

the Hello Kitty stockings, stockings! It is so cute,

they're nude stocking, but with like Hello Kitty pattern

on it. okay you don't even have

to wear this out, you could just wear this in your

because I actually have one, and I just look at it because

I think it's really cute, I would never wear it out because

so I wanted to include this one, I also included two

of my favorite hand creams, this is by Tony Moly

surprisingly found these on my way to

New York through Korea at the duty-free

and oh my God these are so good, and also they absorb

into the hand so quickly, you don't feel like a sticky

residue, it has a really nice subtle smell, the two flavors

here are the berry mix and the milk

both smell AMAZING

two of the products I'm currently using I think

you guys should try out is the Crystal Essence

this is the lavender and white tea deodorants roll-on

which is it smells amazing, it works, you don't have

to worry about it, it's purple and then also the

Curel Ultra Healing intensive body lotion

I'm using this at the moment, it's so cold, so dry, it works

amazing, it last a long time as you can see how big

the bottle is so those two will be in there as well

of course I had to include this in here and this is the

Eve skincare bar, you guys know why I talk about this

I use this, this is amazing, it's like a cleanser toner

moisturizer mask everything in one

you can use it on your face your hair your skin your body

anywhere it's amazing, done a video about it so I'll be

including this in the giveaway, there will also be two of

the Chakra natural beauty made in Bali

so if you guys follow me, obviously you know that

I went to Bali like maybe like two years ago for

my friend's wedding, these are actually made

in Bali and it smells exactly like Bali. Oh my God it's like

lemongrassy, like just reminds me of like when I was

who wouldn't want something that's like multi-purpose

and it's like great to convenient to like carry around with

you instead of carrying like cases of powder

and like blushes? Oxygen actually did a

video about this as well so make sure you guys check

out how to use them cause you can actually do your

whole face with just blush paper

also here are these Stellar Absolute Mascara

this is actually donated by Felicia

she actually did a video about Stellar makeup and

this one is their mascara, look at this packaging

it's like so futuristic, it's like this matte feeling you guys

mascara lovers, you'll love this

this one is something that I personally really like

I love Too Faced packaging it's just so cute

and this one is the naughty and kisses sweet cheeks

so you got like a lip injection lip gloss as well as

a tiny baby size of the blush, this is in the color nude

so like anyone can use it, I chose a color that's

sort of like universal, um definitely very cute

and just pop it in your handbag, or you can just

give this away, it has like "to" and "from" in the back

so whoever wins this I will be writing your name

I've got some Sigma stuff as well for you guys

this is a sigma loose shimmer and glitter

there's actually a pack of 3 in here so there's

different colors, you have a like a bronzy color

this is really pretty like a bronzy color, a shimmery pink

and then this one is like a teal, teal pigment

all very very pretty, and you just basically you can

either use them wet or dry you can place them on top

of other shadow, wear them alone

I also include a ton of ELF products because you guys

know I'm part of the beauty squad but also ELF

has such affordable and amazing makeup

really cool finds so I've got here the illuminating palette

as well as the blush palette I used this blush palette

all the time, it has like basically

every color that you need

you can mix it, you can match it, they also has a contour

color so you pretty much just travel with this

and that's all you need. The illuminated palette is also

pretty cool it has all the colors to help you

highlight, you can also use it as a face paddle overall

as well, so this is definitely very very handy

there's also two different ELF highlighting holographic

duos, this is the Siren's Call and this is the Blue Liqueur

so it can help with this holographic highlighting

if you guys are into highlighting you'll love these

there are also some ELF mineral products, this is the

baked highlighter which is called blush jams and this

is the baked highlighter and bronzer, having a duo

is just so easy, you can kind of used both colors in one

you guys know I love anything that's like travel friendly

because I travel a lot, there's also the highlighter

and blush which is also a mineral baked one

so this is a really cute rose gold color

I just love their blushes it's like so soft, like this goes on

beautifully, anything like shimmery

and like mineral base I like

you guys know I like the ELF like a dollar or two dollars

like eyeshadow primers, they're so good and so cheap

and this one is in the color sheer which is pretty much

could use up with anything. I love their champagne wine

I also like the one that's I kind of like

a taupey color, I just use that as an eyeshadow as well

so these are really great. ELF also does eyeliners

and this one is in the Twinkle teal so something

bold and different I want you to go outside your comfort

zone and try different colors

there's also two lipsticks here they're moisturizer

lipstick one is the velvet robe and

one is the orange dream so these are really

hydrating very moisturizing lipsticks the color is so

opaque and like Wow! Super creamy and if you guys are

into like deep reds and stuff it look beautiful by

oranges this is definitely up your alley

So I also got here at the ELF lip definer and shape

this is really cool so one side is like

the nude lip color and the other side is a natural

like lip color pencil, it also has like a sharpener

so you can actually sharpen your pencil as you go

everyone needs a lip pencil you want to go

with nude, natural this is it

and of course I cannot forget the eyeliners

and there's actually a couple here that's got

got some sparkly sea foam glittery eyeliners

for you to try here as well as the expert liquid liner

and charcoal, so these are really good

I love ELF eyeliner, so pigmented, so cheap and it's

so good, and it's got like thin and like almost like

a little bit hard tip so you can get the crisp line, even

though it's really hard to get a crisp line on my eyes but I

know that it works wonderfully, I also have

used the shimmery eyeliners, they kind of give you

like a glittery fill, so I use this on the bottom

or if I use it on the top of the black. This is the lip

plumping gloss so you guys know

that I already have plump lips, so I'm actually not a really

big fan of plumping glosses, but this one

is actually really good, very hydrating, this is in the color

champagne glam so it's just very like neutral

you can use it as a topper, you can use

it underneath, or use it by itself.

More from Sigma, this is my favorite brush

cleansing kit, I am obsessed with like making sure

my brushes are clean before I put on my face

because like you want to not only make it look nice

like when you put makeup on, you wanna feel

like it's clean like you're not just brushing

crap on your face, so i religiously wash my brushes

every week if not every second week

and i do like a really big cleanse once a month as well

you get this mat which you should lay in your basin

and then you just wash your brushes

with it this one is the liquid brush cleaner

so you just squirt it into your mat, and then you wet

your brushes, you wipe it off and just scrub everything

out, and then just rinse out, it's so good!

This is really really good so you guys will

be winning one of these. Of course I cannot forget the

best of Sigma brush set so there'll be

a lot of brushes in here for you guys to choose from

there's a bunch of like the classic the classic F70

which is everyone's favorite, you got like

the chiseled one, you've got the eye shadow brush

you got like the little pencil brush, my favorite blending

brush this is so good, there's also two ELF brushes

one is for contouring and the other one is for blending

those two are like the must staples of brushes

ELF brushes also very affordable and very good

you guys are into brushes I also have some sponges

here this one is the silicon blender by silicon blender

basically like the beauty blender but in the silicon form

so you can wash it properly, and not have any makeup

residue left on it, it's really cute like it looks like

a little sponge, but it's actually a silicon and or you

can get them in like the ELF version which is like

the flatter type that was really in a while ago

so you have two options here.

about what kind of glasses suit your eye shape

but also they make really comfortable sunglasses

or glasses in general, because they don't like sit on

top of your cheeks because I had this really

comfortable nose bridge thing and I have so many

one that I actually brought from Australia to use

in the U.S. it's like this white pair look kind of like

it's very trendy, it really, it matches like what I'm wearing

right now because of the color of the lens but

Huge Winter Collective Haul + Try On - Duration: 15:44.

hi there it's Pazao Welcome back so today I have a huge winter collective haul to

share with you guys I know for some these pieces might not be exactly winter

appropriate but for me I do live in California so right now it definitely

feels like fall and I'm really excited because I paid for all individually

under $40 so nothing over 40 I believe the most priciest piece I paid for it

was about 35 so with that let's get started

from forever21 I picked up this pink t-shirt that says babes unite and I

will warned you guys that I did get a lot of printed graphic t-shirts and you

will be seeing that over and over in this haul but that's currently my jam

I've just been really obsessed with t-shirts because there's just a really

easy throw on outfit combo that will look really effortless depending on how

you style it so just a quick disclaimer but this one is in a size large I prefer

my t-shirt to be a bit more looser fitting and flowier and because I was

afraid that it will shrink once I wash it or dry it so I usually go up a size

for my t-shirts alright next step is also another t-shirt this one says stay

humble and it's in a more solemn peachy color and it looks a bit washout just

because it has been really cloudy and gloomy these days hence I have all these

lights on and it's just washing out the colors again I went for size large and

it feels really nice and comfortable the quality is definitely really nice okay

and then from t-shirt to sweater I got this pure white sweater that says he'll

figure it out I have just been wanting a white sweater

that is not a creamy or an off-white color I want a pure white and this one

is definitely it I love how this just kind of gives you a Tommy Hilfiger vibe

because of the colors and everything which is really cute

and this is an oversized sweater I got this in a medium I definitely recommend

just sizing down if you want something that's a bit more form-fitting it is

lined with fleece on the inside which is super comfy

in cozy and so soft to wear it all right and then next time I have another

sweater this one is in a baby pink color it says what's the gossip which is so

cute and it's also lined with fleece but this one is more cropped with the raw

hem at the bottom and I have been getting quite a few high-waisted I've

been getting quite a few high-waisted bottoms so I thought this would

definitely go nice with them I've also warned and taken photo of this on

Instagram lastly for clothing pieces I got this cropped yellow mustard long

sleeve top here has just says Paris unfortunately this one did not make it

out of the laundry room stain free I don't know why out of all the pieces

that I washed together is this one end up being stained and I think it came

from my laundry detergent but the other pieces worth wine I did try to do some

kind of sting removal on this but it's still won't budge because the texture is

kind of like a thermal texture and I feel that's part of the reason why it's

so easy to be stained and not come off so I'm really bummed because I only wore

it once and I really loved it I might just end up getting another one of this

because it was really affordable and I mean I could wear this out and about for

days that I don't care about my tops being dirty and I also did get some

accessory pieces so I got a pair of earrings and I just loved it so much

it's just these red dangly flowers from these gold chains and then just top it

up with these faux diamonds that's on here it definitely makes you look a

little bit more extra glam because it's a really nice statement earring piece to

kind of top off your whole outfit this was 590 but I got it on clearance for

about two dollars I would say the next item I got is this dainty gold necklace

it just has two hearts linked together which is so cute and

I just feel like it makes a really delicate and just adds a subtle subtle

vibe to your overall outfit I've also warned this and posted a photo of this

on mr. Instagram as well lastly from forever 21 I got myself a pair of kidney

heal meals and this one is in a plaid print which is definitely a really

trendy print for fall and winter this season and I've got a lot of black shoes

already hence why I went for this pair this was only 24 90 and it's super comfy

to walk and wear it and I just love it so much I actually got this for about 20

dollars because I placed an order during some kind of sells I don't remember but

I got if only 20 bucks but alone its original price is definitely really

affordable and quality is really nice on to H&M I tried really hard to resist

going crazy because they were having up to 70% off their winter sells and I

ended up over at the men's clearance sales area I did pick up two woman's

pieces which is this black camisole laced with the neckline going on this is

such a classic piece of spray closet I think it's really nice under Blazers for

the spring and summer time and then you can actually just throw this on top of

maybe long-sleeve turtleneck soar t-shirt which is really super trendy

trend last year so I got this for $12 in the

original price was $29.99 the next piece is also another t-shirt not surprising

this one is in a more peachy pink tone and it has two flamingos on there that

says flamingos not flamingos although flamingos flamingos but this was five

dollars and I decided to pick this up because it was so cute and I love

t-shirts next step are just pieces that I picked up from the men's area and they

are t-shirts as well this one is a no it's not oversized it's a man's large

but I got this phony out dollar the original price was $9.99 and I got it

for a dollar on Clarence this one has more of a scoop neckline which I don't

own too many to strip with scoop neck just because I prefer covering up wear

just prefer more crude neck style and this is quite large which I definitely

plan to wear this to lounge around as a off-the-shoulder or no a one sided

shoulder underneath leggings for days that I'm lazy and just lounging

basically the next one is eighth grade t-shirt this one has this blue felt

writing and front that says be looking real good or no be looking good real

good out of you but this one I got for $5 this is in size small and I for some

reason I prefer men's t-shirt over women's t-shirt just because I feel like

they're a lot more come here and the way it's made I don't know but I just prefer

men's t-shirt if I was to go for something that is more comfy and casual

than I think men's t-shirt are really great and then the last t-shirt from H&M

is just a basic purple violet color I surprisingly I don't have any Purple's

in my closet at all so when I saw this it was on sale for $3 and since I was

just talking up on t-shirts I went head and get this and it's so

comfortable and this was in a size that I cut out the tags already I think this

was a small or medium one of those but so comfy I like to tuck it in my jeans

and call it a day and then the very final item from H&M is just this basic

it's not cardigan sweater it's in the spring colored and on the back it has

this word right here perception with the definition it says organize identify

interpret represent and understand so I like this word and I got this for ten

dollars and then from ASIS only picked up one thing was just this buzu t-shirt

that it's been everywhere at Instagram almost every other blogger has it

I wanted one for myself and this was $17 got this in a large which don't get a

large if you are a medium not a size medium or small because this is

extremely oversized it's like a t-shirt dress which I'm still debating whether I

want to kind of cut this bit off and wear it as a regular t-shirt or just

kept it long like this and wear it as a t-shirt dress but I don't know yet and

then from Target they were having 20% off their apparel and including

clearance pieces if you have their cartwheel app and I managed to get this

flag midi dress from who what where it I love these ruffles on the shoulder and

it's definitely more of a mock neck style really conservative for occasions

where you want to show less skin and then it has these ruffle running along

the legs as well with the little split or this split cut slit along with the

little slit at the bottom this is so nice and it was originally 36 99 and it

was reduced to 11 dollars and I also got 20% off that and then from pomelo I

picked up three pieces the first one I'm wearing right now which is this royal

blue velvet t-shirt and I just love it so comfortable it has a nice weight to

it and because it is a t-shirt style you can really wear this casually I know

they'll that is if it just seems a bit more luxurious and more dressier and

then the next top is this beautiful white blouse with these floral prints

the colors are just so versatile you can wear for spring summer fall winter and

it is in this wrap style it has these two straps to kind of wrap around your

waist and then tie at the front I love love this so much that I had to get it

and this was 35 it was like a full price item okay and then final item from

Panola is just a pair of earrings these are just some gold spreading gold plates

with this diamond in mid this is so nice and definitely a really

good statement piece wear it off especially if you're wearing more

minimal I think this just pops you're off it all together it makes it look so

that much more luxe and then on to yesterday I have been really obsessed

with shopping on yes doll just because this shift really quick and yep another

t-shirt that I got from the Estelle is this one it has this kind of Pepsi logo

on here with these Chinese characters I believe they're Chinese if they're not

Chinese they're Japanese because they do have similar characters but yeah this is

haha it's just something that I thought it was I don't know really random I got

this and the quality feels really nice next up is my ultimate favorite piece

from yes doll and it is this sweater is it no it's a turtleneck sweater it's

this velvet super soft it looks almost turquoise blueish at certain Lighting's

and it's so beautiful it has this weird pant on here which is really quirky in a

way and I keep saying this I just love really round everything weird designs

all my my shirts this one says W by one June yeah it's so

nice on the other sleeve its cuffed and it has a red kind of ribbed right here

and then just a regular just a regular shade of green turquoise with the shirt

so nice it has a funnel turtleneck going on up here but I just kind of fold it

down because I'm a short neck I paid about 30 bucks for this and then the

very final two pieces are just a singing shirt in different colors and I got

these one in white in black and these were more of a Miss than a hit because

of the way it was summed and made there was a lot of loose thread this black one

fair a bit better than the white one I saw this on the model and it definitely

looks nice don't ever judge a clothing piece by the model wearing it but I did

and this one had a lot of loose thread but because I liked the style of this

v-neck and it's not or anything but smarter but just flip on

I feel like this was just really quickly thrown together I would suggest just

skipping out on these although they do look really nice you get what you pay

for and then I also grab to assess r81 is just this red wine for right which I

don't know exactly how to wear it I just felt like they look a little bit weird

on me maybe because I'm not used to wearing berets but I feel like I looked

at like a chest piece you know those kings and I yeah I look a bit weird I

still haven't figure out how to wear this or maybe I'm just not used to

seeing myself wear a beret and then I got myself a scarf it's just something

really simple this is just a pin stripe grace card and

when it came in I had this weird smell I had to toss it in the laundry and it did

get rid of the smell so it's really soft and cozy just something basic that will

go with everything so the very final place for the day is Ross and I wasn't

doing any specific shopping I was just there with my sister and I picked up

three caps from the men's area for some reason I definitely prefer men's hats

and caps more than woman's just because I felt like woman's hats were a bit

overly done but I got these basic baseball caps and it just has these

little embroidered words on top which adds a little bit of touch to a basic

cap like these this one says faded AF and this was and once I fit oh so I

grabbed two other because they won't find 99 each and I thought these are

really good for it outdoors or just running errands and chores or for bad

hair days when you don't really want to bother much with your hair this black

one says gold digger and then this red one says I don't know what it means but

it has these upside down letter it's tea you are empty turnt

what does that mean I think it's a word is it word but yeah I don't know what it

means but I just love the color and I think they're really nice especially

it's good for working out covering your hair going in disguise

but yeah I really like it and I had to grab dirty so that's just me if I really

like something I want to grab them in multiple colors so that's pretty much it

for this haul hopefully it wasn't too long and if you stayed until the end

Peering Into David Lynch | Eraserhead as Subconscious Images - Duration: 13:22.

There's this phenomenon when you create art where images or sounds of the piece come rushing

into your head and become the piece you want to create.

This can occur in the midst of making something or these things can be dreamed.

These images rarely even make sense to you, so it puts you as the artist in the same position

as the audience, that of the interpreter.

This is one of mine.

It's fascinating to me how I can utilize images I may not fully understand to make something

incredibly close and personal.

It's working from dreams, and the artist who's taught me to be open to these things is David

Lynch.

Lynch's approach to filmmaking is unrivaled.

Lynch is a avid practicer of transcendental meditation, for better or for worse, which

like all forms of meditation, opens him up to images his subconscious will provide him,

and those images are what go directly into his films.

While all of Lynch's films, as well as his television work with Twin Peaks, feature these

images, his debut film, Eraserhead, is composed entirely of them, and puts the viewer in the

position of the one experiencing those visions.

Eraserhead's production took five years to make, primarily because of monetary restraints,

but this production time allowed Lynch to ponder every minute detail of the film, adjusting

things ever so slightly to match his vision exactly.

He even lived on set for a number of years, again for monetary reasons, but allowing him

to always be there to adjust things.

This is an admirable dedication to the art, and one that only really could have been done

with the intense passion for the project Lynch had.

The film, like many of Lynch's films, explores the notion of dreams, or more specifically,

levels of reality.

Many have speculated that the entire film is a dream, with smaller dreams contained

within it, and this is 33 years before Inception!

As the film opens, we see Henry's brain physically leave his head, and a man pulling levers.

I interpret this to be the separation of mind and body that occurs in a trance state, with

the man pulling the levers representing a controlling of consciousness.

When entering a trance state, the first stage is that of entoptics.

These are flashes of light and patterns that the trancer sees before being able to interpret

them or have a vision closer to their reality.

In the beginning of Eraserhead, we see this, a white light in a circle.

The audience has entered the trance state.

However, in order to embrace it like an artist does, they have to feel an investment to it.

In ancient Native American cultures in the Southwest a shaman would likely stare at rock

art, such as this, as they entered their trance state, so that the images they stared at would

be there in the trance.

The third and final stage of entering a trance is environmentally influenced, whatever is

in your life comes with you, and Eraserhead translates that through the entirity of the

world of the film being viewed through Henry's eyes.

The film is produced through a profoundly subjective lens of the characters, and has

a relatively blank canvas of a protagonist in Henry, who is easy for audiences to latch

on to.

Speaking visually, much of the surreal images and moments can be influenced by Henry's own

perspective.

Because he is in this trance state, it's very likely that Henry sees the baby exactly as

it is depicted, but this viewing hints toward a feeling outside of the trance that Henry

might have about a real child.

In other words, the baby in reality is likely normal, but regretted by Henry because of

its accidental nature.

This subjectivity in what we see transcends large plot points, and hits home on a smaller

scale.

At the beginning of the film, Henry enters an elevator and it takes the doors 18 grueling

seconds to close.

However, when Henry uses the same elevator at multiple other instances throughout the

rest of the film, the doors close like normal.

So in this case there are two readings that fit into the film having a subjective nature.

Either Henry's real elevator seems to him that it takes forever to close, which is translated

literally into the dream, or that Henry is focused on the doors, which makes them take

longer, like how a minute seems like forever when you're staring at a clock.

Furthermore, the lady in the radiator is likely Henry's imagination, seeing as she only appears

in the dream within the dream sequence, or when Henry is clearly daydreaming while staring

at the radiator.

While the Lady in the Radiator is most definitely a hopeful figure for Henry, hence why she

sings that in Heaven, everything is fine, she is the very figure that Henry sees in

visions.

That's right, like an artist using Lynch's approach, Henry sees things he may not understand,

but feels connected to.

The Lady's expanded cheeks fit perfectly into the notion of these conjured images being

surreal, even if those cheeks have an interpretation of giving her a cherubic and innocent look.

As a final visual note, the film does change perspectives at key moments.

When Henry hears a noise outside his apartment, he opens the door to find a disgusting looking

man with the neighbor he is attracted to.

At this point, though, the perspective shifts for just a second to that of the neighbor.

She sees Henry as having the head of the baby, she cannot look past this hideous baggage.

This is how she sees Henry, clearly not how Henry actually is.

This is why every visual item in the film is brought into question.

Is it actually like that, or is it how Henry sees that?

All of it can be Henry's perspective, the man with his neighbor may not be actually

that gross, or the neighbor that attractive.

But Henry's viewpoint is not only found in the visual style of the film, it's also omnipresent

in the sound.

While these images mentioned and many more unmentioned serve to convey Henry's subjective

viewpoint visually, Eraserhead cannot be discussed without mention of its sound.

Lynch put such care into the sound design of this, and all his other films, and it shows,

with a droning series of sounds that also serve to convey the subjective nature of Henry's

vision.

From the very beginning of Henry's vision, the sound of Eraserhead is unlike most films.

There's a wind pervading every second of this film, not loud enough to be overwhelming,

but not so quiet that it goes unnoticed.

Now I'm going to stop talking for just a second and I urge you to just listen to the quiet

you hear.

Did you hear all those subtle static-ey noises.

Maybe they're coming from your speaker or headphones, an air conditioner, lights, or

outside, but it's almost impossible for a person to actually hear nothing.

There's always that ambient noise.

ambient... noise.

This noise is amplified in Eraserhead to make it noticable, allowing the sound to put the

audience not only in a related state to Henry, but in his head, hearing what he hears.

More so is the sound of Eraserhead subjective in the score.

Outside of the Lady in the Radiator's song, Eraserhead's music is dotted with quiet ballpark

organs.

However, these organs only appear in the soundscape when Henry is engaged in a mundane task.

For example, in the beginning of the film Henry's just on his walk home.

When the mind is engaged in a mundane activity, like showering, it puts up a screensaver of

sorts, in the form of a song, which is why so many people sing in the shower.

Sometimes these songs can be freeform, or one that's known.

So, the organs tracks are those inner songs, again putting the audience literally in Henry's

head.

Perhaps the biggest use of subjective sound, however, stems from volume.

Whatever Henry is focused on determines the volume of a sound.

We see this whenever Henry stares at the radiator, the sound of the radiator amplifies.

When Henry has sex with his neighbor in the dream within the dream, at first the crys

of the baby are heard, causing Henry to cover its mouth.

However, when Henry's more focused on..

Other things..

He can't hear the baby's cry, but the neighbor can, again showing the film switching perspectives

to that of the neighbor's for a brief moment.

This subjectivity in the images and sounds of Eraserhead make Henry's vision your vision.

Throughout this video I've tried to give as little plot analysis as possible, focusing

more on film form, because what happens in Eraserhead is not as important as what you

get out of Eraserhead.

It's a pure translation of Lynch's subconscious images to film celluloid, and through that

film form, makes his vision your own.

Everyone in the audience is tasked with the same challenge Lynch, as an artist, has, to

give these images understanding and meaning.

What I've personally gotten out of Eraserhead isn't a narrative on parenting, anxiety, or

regrets, it's a guidebook on how to translate from thought to work, and stay as true to

the idea as possible.

Sure, I can talk about Eraserhead all day.

But, to really learn Lynch, you have to practice it.

I have to practice it.

I have to make art.

I have to make art.

11 - GRUNGE - DIGITAL PAINTING PROCREATE - Duration: 4:31.

Hello everyone, welcome to another video on my channel

I'm Thiago Marques and today I'm going to show for you the colorization process of

a drawing that I call "GRUNGE"

The original art is an old drawing I did traditionally many years ago.

What I'm going to show you now is the colorization made on a 12.9 "iPad with an apple pencil and

the APP called Procreate.

Okay, let's to the process itself

Well, whenever I already have a ready art as I do now, I put the lines in the first

layer above the others and set it to "multiply"

This makes everything that is black in the image to be opaque and everything that is white,

be transparent.

So, on a layer below the lines, I I started doing the flat layers, which in this

time I made separating each basic color in a layer of its own.

That's because I didn't know until recently a way to make procreate work well

with a single flat layer .

I'm going to do a tutorial explaining how to do that latter.

By the way, if you draw and have some doubt what I'm talking about, leave a comment

in the description.

I'll be happy to answer you and maybe even make a video to explain

better.

So, back to the drawing ...

I finished separating every part of the drawing in a layer of my own and I was

to find a combination that to please

I did the same with the background.

I used a brush that comes with the program to do a gradient and then applied a perspective blur

This generated that serrated effect in the gradient on the backgroung.

I used the silhouette I got with the layers flats to make her shadow the same way

which I did in the "Hermit"

Ok, from now on, I've only been adding

the layers of light and shadow

Each one on a separate layer.

I do this by selecting the layers flat to restrict the area I'm going to paint.

Makes sense to you?

If not, that's okay, just ask. which I try to explain better.

At the end, I used a technique to try to highlight the illumination of the face

In a new layer, I paint the forehead, eyelids upper and the lateral below the lips

in yellow the bridge of the nose below the eyebrows

and the top of my cheek I paint orange the tip of the nose and lower cheeks

I paint red and under the eyes and the area that would form

the beard, I paint blue.

Kind of bizarre, right?

Relax now just turn the layer in overlay and adjust the opacity if necessary.

It's just a trick to help draw more attention to the face of the character.

Remembering that I am considering a direct light.

If the lighting comes from below, for example, you will have to reverse this.

this is a sigma loose shimmer and glitter

there's actually a pack of 3 in here so there's

different colors, you have a like a bronzy color

this is really pretty like a bronzy color, a shimmery pink

and then this one is like a teal, teal pigment

all very very pretty, and you just basically you can

either use them wet or dry you can place them on top

of other shadow, wear them alone

I also include a ton of ELF products because you guys

know I'm part of the beauty squad but also ELF

has such affordable and amazing makeup

really cool finds so I've got here the illuminating palette

as well as the blush palette I used this blush palette

all the time, it has like basically

every color that you need

you can mix it, you can match it, they also has a contour

color so you pretty much just travel with this

and that's all you need. The illuminated palette is also

pretty cool it has all the colors to help you

highlight, you can also use it as a face paddle overall

as well, so this is definitely very very handy

there's also two different ELF highlighting holographic

duos, this is the Siren's Call and this is the Blue Liqueur

so it can help with this holographic highlighting

if you guys are into highlighting you'll love these

there are also some ELF mineral products, this is the

baked highlighter which is called blush jams and this

is the baked highlighter and bronzer, having a duo

is just so easy, you can kind of used both colors in one

you guys know I love anything that's like travel friendly

because I travel a lot, there's also the highlighter

and blush which is also a mineral baked one

so this is a really cute rose gold color

I just love their blushes it's like so soft, like this goes on

beautifully, anything like shimmery

and like mineral base I like

you guys know I like the ELF like a dollar or two dollars

like eyeshadow primers, they're so good and so cheap

and this one is in the color sheer which is pretty much

could use up with anything. I love their champagne wine

I also like the one that's I kind of like

a taupey color, I just use that as an eyeshadow as well

so these are really great. ELF also does eyeliners

and this one is in the Twinkle teal so something

bold and different I want you to go outside your comfort

zone and try different colors

there's also two lipsticks here they're moisturizer

lipstick one is the velvet robe and

one is the orange dream so these are really

hydrating very moisturizing lipsticks the color is so

opaque and like Wow! Super creamy and if you guys are

into like deep reds and stuff it look beautiful by

oranges this is definitely up your alley

So I also got here at the ELF lip definer and shape

this is really cool so one side is like

the nude lip color and the other side is a natural

like lip color pencil, it also has like a sharpener

so you can actually sharpen your pencil as you go

everyone needs a lip pencil you want to go

with nude, natural this is it

and of course I cannot forget the eyeliners

and there's actually a couple here that's got

got some sparkly sea foam glittery eyeliners

for you to try here as well as the expert liquid liner

and charcoal, so these are really good

I love ELF eyeliner, so pigmented, so cheap and it's

so good, and it's got like thin and like almost like

a little bit hard tip so you can get the crisp line, even

though it's really hard to get a crisp line on my eyes but I

know that it works wonderfully, I also have

used the shimmery eyeliners, they kind of give you

like a glittery fill, so I use this on the bottom

or if I use it on the top of the black. This is the lip

plumping gloss so you guys know

that I already have plump lips, so I'm actually not a really

big fan of plumping glosses, but this one

is actually really good, very hydrating, this is in the color

champagne glam so it's just very like neutral

you can use it as a topper, you can use

it underneath, or use it by itself.

More from Sigma, this is my favorite brush

cleansing kit, I am obsessed with like making sure

my brushes are clean before I put on my face

because like you want to not only make it look nice

like when you put makeup on, you wanna feel

like it's clean like you're not just brushing

crap on your face, so i religiously wash my brushes

every week if not every second week

and i do like a really big cleanse once a month as well

you get this mat which you should lay in your basin

and then you just wash your brushes

with it this one is the liquid brush cleaner

so you just squirt it into your mat, and then you wet

your brushes, you wipe it off and just scrub everything

out, and then just rinse out, it's so good!

This is really really good so you guys will

be winning one of these. Of course I cannot forget the

best of Sigma brush set so there'll be

a lot of brushes in here for you guys to choose from

there's a bunch of like the classic the classic F70

which is everyone's favorite, you got like

the chiseled one, you've got the eye shadow brush

you got like the little pencil brush, my favorite blending

brush this is so good, there's also two ELF brushes

one is for contouring and the other one is for blending

those two are like the must staples of brushes

ELF brushes also very affordable and very good

you guys are into brushes I also have some sponges

here this one is the silicon blender by silicon blender

basically like the beauty blender but in the silicon form

so you can wash it properly, and not have any makeup

residue left on it, it's really cute like it looks like

a little sponge, but it's actually a silicon and or you

can get them in like the ELF version which is like

the flatter type that was really in a while ago

so you have two options here.

How To: Install a New Battery in Your Vehicle - Duration: 2:52.

Hey everybody! John here with O'Reilly Auto Parts and today I'm gonna show you how to install a new battery in your vehicle.

In most cases it's a pretty simple job. Before you start check your service manual for the location of your battery.

It could be easy, but it could also be in the trunk or behind the wheel well. And if you find that it's going to be more complicated than you thought,

we would be happy to recommend a professional technician in your area.

Typically, the only tools that you'll need are a wrench to loosen the battery

bolts and nuts, as well as a ratchet and socket to take out the battery hold-down.

When you get the battery reinstalled chances are your radio presets and other

operator preferences will be cleared out. In some vehicles, you may have to reenter

a security code to get the stereo working again. Some manufacturers may

recommend the use of a memory saver to prevent issues once the new battery is

installed; so always be aware of the manufacturer's specifications before the

installation. Today, I'm gonna be changing out the battery on this 2013 Toyota

Tacoma. First, you'll see here that we've got three things that we'll need to

detach to get this battery out. This is the battery hold-down which helps keep

the battery in place. Then, we've got the cables attached to each of the two

battery terminals. We'll start by loosening this hold down and slipping

out the curved end of the bolt, and we'll just swing that back out of the way. Now

when you go to disconnect the cables from the battery terminals you'll want

to disconnect the negative cable first. It's the one connected to the negative

terminal, which is marked with a minus sign. Just loosen this enough to slip the

connector off and move it to the side out of your way. Make sure that it's not

resting on bare metal. Same thing with the positive cable. Loosen this connector

enough that you can slip it off and move that to the side, and at this point, you

should be ready to lift this battery out very carefully, just trying to keep it

upright. Once you've got your new battery, you're going to ease it back into the

tray and we're going to reattach the cables in the reverse order. We'll place

these battery washers to prevent corrosion and brush any corrosion from

the cable ends so we get a good connection, and we're going to reattach

the cables in reverse order. The positive will go on first.

Be sure to slip that down as far on the post as you can before you tighten it.

Then the negative. Now we'll just re-position this hold down. Slip the

curved end of the bolt into the hole and tighten that down.

Now for the moment of truth.
