Youtube daily report w Jan 4 2018

[♩INTRO ]

The tale of the world's first artificial pigment has all the elements of a good thriller:

an ancient mystery, a dramatic rediscovery, and some cutting-edge future technology.

Today, this age-old chemical compound may help scientists prevent forgery and even save

lives.

But before it was doing any of that, it was adding color to the tombs of Egyptian pharaohs.

The color blue was a big deal to the ancient Egyptians.

It was the color of the sky and the Nile, and people came to associate it with creation

and fertility.

But the earliest pigments were made from things like different minerals or charcoal, which

means lots of browns, reds, and yellows.

One of the only natural sources of blue pigment was a rare, valuable mineral called lapis

lazuli.

It was ground up and turned into a deep blue pigment known as ultramarine.

And instead of paying big bucks for that blue, the ancient Egyptians got creative with some

chemistry and invented the world's first artificial pigment.

Egyptian blue first appeared around 2600 BCE and eventually spread throughout Mesopotamia

and the Roman empire.

The only information we have about how it was made in ancient times comes from a Roman

writer named Vitruvius.

The ingredients were sand, which we now know was probably made of quartz, copper-containing

minerals, and natron, which is a salty mix of different sodium compounds that Egyptians

used for embalming, too.

You had to mix this stuff together, shape it into balls, stick those in a clay jar,

and heat them in an oven.

Then, you could grind them up to get some blue pigment!

This pigment was used in paint for wall art or mummy coffins, or in glazes for pottery.

But as other colors like red and yellow became all the rage in Roman art, Egyptian blue lost

popularity.

By around the fourth century, it began to fall out of use.

And, eventually, the formula for making it was lost.

The story picks up in 1814, when archaeologists found Egyptian blue while excavating the ruins

of Pompeii.

They sent samples to London for analysis, where chemists tried to figure out what it

was made of by mixing it with and dissolving it in other substances and seeing what happened.

After a lot of experimentation, we now know that the chemical name of Egyptian blue is

calcium copper tetrasilicate.

This could have been made by heating the ingredients Vitruvius mentioned — quartz sand, a copper

compound, and natron — along with calcium-containing lime, which may have been hanging out in the

sand the ancient Egyptians used.

This mixture needs to be kept at around 900 or 1000 degrees Celsius for a couple hours

to make the magic happen.

We still don't know how the ancient Egyptians originally figured this recipe out, but the

chemical reaction would have required careful control of this super hot temperature and

the flow of oxygen into a furnace.

Not only that, but the consistency of their results was also incredible — Egyptian blue

pigment is almost exactly the same chemical in tombs built across nearly 3000 years.

And, today, the pigment is still surprising us.

Scientists discovered in 2009 that, when visible light is shined on them, Egyptian blue molecules

emit infrared radiation — the long-wavelength light that our eyes can't detect, but can

be felt as heat or be picked up by certain cameras.

This makes the pigment easy to identify in ancient artwork.

Scientists can even determine if a worn-away sculpture or other piece of art was once painted

blue from traces of the chemical.

But this property of Egyptian blue means it has a bunch of other potential uses as well.

Infrared can pass through human tissue more easily than some other wavelengths of light,

like the visible spectrum or UV.

So it could be incorporated into a dye for new medical imaging techniques.

It could also be used in new types of security ink to prevent counterfeiting and forgery.

Or it could be made into a dusting powder for fingerprint detection on shiny or patterned

surfaces, where normal fingerprint powder is hard to see.

Ancient chemists trying to paint a blue sky on the walls of tombs could never have imagined

the ways their work would be used today.

But the story of Egyptian blue, it seems, is just beginning — again.

Glaciers - Duration: 5:04.

i[♩Intro♩]

Whooooo!

It is so cold outside!

Oooh, thanks for the hot chocolate.

My fingers feel frozen!

You know, it's snowing today, and it snowed a few days ago.

And when it stays this cold outside, all that snow can turn into layers of ice – kind

of like a glacier!

[Squeaks is impressed.]

I know, right?

Glaciers are so neat!

They're enormous, they store a frozen supply of about three quarters of the earth's fresh

water… they can be thousands of years old… they grow, and shrink… and they move around!

Usually glaciers move very slowly – like a very slow, icy river.

But sometimes glaciers can move really fast, too!

Glaciers are made up of many layers of snow.

When one place gets a lot of snowfall, and stays cold for a long time, the weight of

all that snow compresses the snow at the bottom – or weighs it down, until it turns into

a huge, thick, heavy mass of ice!

The process of layers of snow becoming a glacier can take a long time – sometimes more than

a hundred years.

Some glaciers have grown to be really huge!

The world's biggest glacier is the Lambert-Fisher Glacier in Antarctica.

It's 400 kilometers long and 100 kilometers wide!

And some of the glacier ice in Antarctica is 5 kilometers thick!

[Squeaks is alarmed.]

Don't worry, Squeaks.

In most places, the spring and summer are warm enough to make all the winter snow melt.

So the Fort won't turn into a glacier.

But there are glaciers all over the world… they cover about one tenth of the earth!

Most glacier ice is very far north of us, in Greenland, or very far south of us, in

Antarctica.

But lots of other areas of the world – like places with tall, snowy mountains – have

glaciers too.

There are glaciers on every single continent in the world!

The earth has been around for a long time.

Around 4 and half billion years!

And it goes through phases – cycles of hot and cold.

It's kind of like a washing machine, except with much longer cycles than a washing machine.

And thousands of years ago, the earth was having a really cold cycle.

It's what scientists call an ice age.

It was so cold back then, that gigantic glaciers formed on huge chunks of the planet – about

a third of all the land area on earth was covered wvith ice!

Including a lot of places you and I have visited, Squeaks – like New England, the Upper Midwest,

and large parts of Canada and Alaska!

And some of the glaciers that formed back then are still around!

Only they're much smaller now.

[Squeaks gives a little jump.

Wow!]

Glaciers grow slowly, a little bit of snow at a time – usually during the winter, and

usually high up, at the tallest part of the glacier.

When it snows a lot and stays cold enough for the snow to stick around, glaciers will

grow, piling up more snow in the winter than they lose in the summer.

And over long periods of time, glaciers will move.

When a glacier gets really big, that means it's also really heavy!

The ice at the bottom can't hold up the weight of all the ice above it, and like a

really big stack of blocks, it'll give way -- so the ice at the middle and the bottom

will flow out, and move forward, or advance.

Or sometimes glaciers will retreat, or move back.

That usually means that there's more of the glacier melting away in the summer than

building up in the winter.

When glaciers move, that tells us that something in the earth is changing.

So glaciers can give scientists important tools to look into the history of the earth.

By studying a piece of glacier ice, we can learn a lot about what the earth was like

hundreds or even thousands of years ago!

Glaciers grow, move, and retreat all the time.

But they're very sensitive to changes in the environment.

When the earth gets even a tiny bit warmer, that can change the cycle for a glacier.

Lately, glaciers all over the world have done a lot more retreating than growing.

Within the last hundred years, as the earth has gotten warmer, some glaciers have disappeared

altogether.

Glaciers melting can sometimes be helpful!

It's normal for glaciers to melt and flow a little bit at a time.

Lots of the world's rivers flow out of glaciers, and lots of people, plants and animals need

the water from those rivers.

And some scientists and engineers have worked together to use the energy from melting glaciers

to generate electricity!

But we don't want them to melt too much..

As more glacier water melts and flows into the ocean, the sea levels get higher, which

can create a lot of problems!

[Squeaks is concerned]

You're right, Squeaks.

Glaciers are really interesting, and really helpful!

I hope the ones we have on earth stick around for a long, long time.

Thanks for joining us!

RIDICULOUS CUSTOMER SUGGESTIONS #2 | Dolan True Stories - Duration: 6:11.

• From filling an auditorium with water to selling kitten at a grocery store, the

Planet Dolan crew re-enact some of the best true stories from our subreddit about the

most ridiculous suggestions customers have ever had.

I'm Zaraganba and today I'll be your narrator.

Number 10 was submitted by AGrimFate Froggy When she was 15, Froggy worked at a convenience

store.

After she turned down a perverted old man for the 60th time, he walked up to the manager

and said, "You need to fire all your other employees and make the uniform into skimpy

bras and underwear."

Her boss just looked at him as the guy gave Froggy a wink and said, "I am looking out

for you honey."

Her boss rung him up and said, "Sorry, I like my employees and would never sexually harass

them.

More so that underage girl."

Number 9 was submitted by 880disneyfreak Cidius Cid worked at a theater as an actor, and when

he was in a production of Peter Pan, an audience member came up to him after the show and said,

"I think you should have filled the auditorium with water for the mermaid scene.

It would have made it more believable."

The person was completely serious, without even a sign of sarcasm in their voice.

Number 8 was submitted by hyena_cub Melissa Melissa worked as a server for many years,

and once had a woman who told her that they needed to use real eggs for their scrambled

eggs.

When Melissa told her they did, the woman was not convinced.

She kept telling her to make sure the cooks used REAL eggs, not the powdered stuff because

she knew the powdered stuff they used was left over military rations from World War

2.

Even when Melissa went back to the kitchen, she watched the cook crack two real eggs onto

the grill and scramble them.

But, the woman was sure she was still trying to pawn off those old World War 2 powdered

egg rations on her again.

Number 7 was submitted by KillDozer688 SaltySquid SaltySquid worked as a cleaning assistant

at a zoo where visitors are handed small questionnaires that they can fill out to provide feedback.

One of the questions is "what would make your visit better?"

Some people wrote down that they wanted the animals to move around more and hide less.

and even suggestions for new animals, such as bears, elephants, and dolphins.

The zoo was only 50 acres, so they would need a lot more space for those animals.

One visitor even asked for dinosaurs!

And of course, there was that one visitor who asked for "better-looking people at guest

admissions."

Number 6 was submitted by OhYarnIt Andiemations While shopping for yarn in a craft store,

Andie overheard another customer, an old lady, telling an employee that they needed to carry

more sexy fabrics.

When the employee asked what she meant by sexy fabrics, the woman said, "You know, fabric

with sexy people printed on it!

And that shiny, leather-looking stuff."

The old lady had a good attitude and was really cheerful, so the employee just laughed and

said to check back in a week or so.

Andie doesn't know what the lady wanted to make, but she still bought fabric that

day.

Number 5 was submitted by celestial_loves Doopie

Doopie was working at a supermarket when a little girl walked over to her checkout line.

She asked, "Where are the kittens?

Mommy said I could get one if I could find the section where the kittens are."

Doopie laughed, but the little girl just stared at her until she realized she was being serious.

She tried to explain to the little girl that it was a grocery store and that they didn't

have kittens, but then the little girl started crying.

She accused Doopie of lying and said that the store claimed to have kittens, and that

they should not lie about it.

Then the little girl's mom walked over and started yelling at Doopie for making her daughter

cry.

Doopie tried to explain, but the mother yelled, "Well then, get kittens!" and said she was

never shopping there again.

Number 4 was submitted by SmudgeyDuck MKyleM One time, when MKyleM was at a general store

with his mom, he heard someone yelling at the person behind the counter to stop selling

paper because it could be used as a murder weapon.

MKyleM and his mom just ignored him.

But that night, he ended up having a nightmare where someone slit his throat with a piece

of paper.

They went back the next day because they forgot to get milk, and the customer was still there,

but this time he was yelling about them selling little fruit cups.

For about a month, the man was in that store every time they went in.

Number 3 was submitted by xXCrystalGlitzzzXx Pandora

Pandora was working at Walmart one day when a customer came up to her and asked, "Can

you stop making Kit-Kats?

My son is allergic to them and every time we come in he wants them, but then he has

to go to the hospital after eating them."

Pandora had to explain for 15 minutes that they didn't make the Kit-Kats, and couldn't

stop selling them because of one person being allergic.

So whenever Pandora sees the customer with her son, they take the Kit-Kats and hide them

from people.

Number 2 was submitted by DerpyWhooves1987 CivilSpider

Back when CivilSpider worked at a supermarket, a customer wanted to buy roasted peanuts in

the shell.

Then the customer proceeded to ask if they had roasted peanuts in the shell without the

peel.

After explaining that in order for the peanut to be peeled, they had to be removed from

the shell.

She then suggested that they needed to breed them in a way where they grow without the

peel and the problem would be solved.

After staring at each other for a few seconds, CivilSpider got saved by the bell as he was

being called up front to help cashier.

To this day, he still remembers how ludicrous that suggestion was.

I had to have an implant – my dentist told me.

Dr. Warren – I just felt that he made me perfectly at ease, and of course, when Dr.

Evans – my dentist – sent me here, he said, "I want to tell you.

Not only is he my son-in-law, but he is very good, and that is why I am sending you."

And he was just very, very nice, and I just felt totally at ease.

And the staff is so nice here.

No problems at all when I came in the first time after the initial visit, and I said,

"I didn't even take those pain pills.

Either you didn't do anything when I was in here, or you're very good."

He said, "Well, granted, I did do something, but I am good."

COMO FAZER PAREDE DE ISOPOR - GENIAL - Duration: 9:42.

Hi guys, I hope you are doing well

Today my brother will show you how he did this wall

He had this idea of putting styrofoam on the wall

Everyone thinks this wall is made out of rocks

Because it looks really good

He actually used styrofoam

And he spent almost nothing

Let me call him

Come here so I can make a video with you

He is going to explain to you how he did it

This is my brother, again

I have a step by step video of the other wall I made

That's right. Let me show you the other wall

This one

Look

I don't know if you can see it. But this is styrofoam

It isn't rock

It is really well done. I don't know how he did it

You have a video right?

Yes. This wall has water infiltration

We called the masons

And they said the right thing to do is to knock down the wall and build another one

The cost would be very high

Because this wall is attached to the neighbor's house

And when it rains, the water descends and infiltrates our house

But the neighbor's property doesn't get infiltrated

I did this wall to hide the infiltration

The infiltration is still here

But I hid it with the styrofoam

I used a 10 mm plate, hot glue

With a pistol

And I put it up one-by-one

I started from the top corner

And you come down gluing it all

How much did you spent?

Less than U$ 30 dollars

The styrofoam

It costs 55 cents

I used around 25 plates

The glue is a little stick

Each stick costs around 10 cents

One stick glues 3 big plates

And afterwards, I painted with the cheapest acrylic paint

This helps it stick even more

Because I mixed the paint with a little bit of white glue

The video my sister is going to show you

I explain step by step how I did it

The video is not very good quality because I filmed it myself and I'm not very good

Now you will see the video

Teaching how to build the wall step by step

I hope you enjoy it

Don't forget to subscribe to my channel to see the next videos

Follow me on my instagram

You will see the video now

This styrofoam is really thin

This plate has 5 mm

I bought the thiner because it is cheaper

The 10mm was twice the price

This wall does not have infiltration

I already scratched the plate with rectangles.

Each one has 20cm x 10cm

This is the worst part

I think I will need 10 plates, but I have 11 just as precaution

Now I'm going to cut it with the stylus

I am done cutting the plates

Let me show you an effect that I really like

You light up a candle

You take the styrofoam on the opposite side of the pen

And you do this

Burn the styrofoam a little bit

The styrofoam gets marked

It is ok to have the black mark effect

You can do it anyway. It is just to give a wrinkle in the styrofoam

Just be careful to not burn it too much

I wanna burn it like that

Here is why this is really important

when you burn it, it looks like a rock

I've already cut 4 styrofoam plates

I've cut and burnt with the candle

And now I will start to glue it

I am using white glue, with a little bit of water

It is easier this way

Doing this with one by hand is difficult

And after that I will use styrofoam glue

I glue it over here

For another wall

I used hot glue

with the pistol

But this is a lot of work

This place burns, and it is difficult to use

So, today I am not using this pistol, because this wall does not have infiltration

I've already put the screws to hang the painting later

This wall has the infiltration

The infiltration is still here but it is hidden

Because this wall has infiltration, the humidity could make the Styrofoam fall

That's why I used the hot glue to fix it really well

This one will be fine with the regular glue

Because after all I will paint it

The paint will help to fix it even better

I start from the top

Because it's easier to fix any fault that might happen

My hands have paint because I was painting artwork

It is hard to film and glue at the same time

To finish up, you just need to paint

I am painting with a white acrylic paint

And I will paint the whole styrofoam

Because when the paint dries

It removes these stronger marks of the candle

It gets smoother

When I am done painting I will show you the result

CONCOURS SPÉCIAL #UNCONCERTPOUR1EUROS ! (CONTEST) - Duration: 3:38.

oops sorry, I wanted to be filmed

hello everyone, you're on sowony tv

today will be a special video

we will explain a new concept of contest we wanted to do

for concert ticket

we will post a paypal

and everyone would put 1€ in it and when the price is achieved, we make someone who participated win the ticket

HALO is coming to Paris soon

and an other group apparently

whatever we want to do this everytime there is a concert

if this concept works we'll keep going

if not we'll stop

First rule: You participate with 1€

you can't participante 2 times by putting an other 1€

If the ticket cost 30€

we will stop the contest when the paypal total is up to 30€

and we will choose among all the participant the lucky winner

so what happen is you win the ticket or you just loosed 1€ by making someone happy

if we don't manage to have the total we want on paypal to buy the ticket, we cancel the contest and everyone's 1€ will be give back to his owner

for the paypal account it will be sowonytv@gmail.com

it's really a win and win situation

with only 1€ you could win a concert ticket

Egyptian Blue: How an Ancient Pigment Could Save Lives - Duration: 3:47.

BREAKING!!! TRUMP FINALLY DID IT! IT'S NOT Free Anymore! - Duration: 5:15.

BREAKING!!!

TRUMP FINALLY DID IT!

IT'S NOT Free Anymore!

Hard times can overtake any of us and if you don't have a great safety net those hard

times might just destroy your life by making you lose your home or car, or both.

Because most of Americans don't have the proper amount of "hard times insurance,"

the government has a program that has got your back, in the form of unemployment pay.

Unfortunately, unemployment is something that many abuse in order to support their illegal

habits.

Unemployment was meant to be something that could get a hard working person out of an

unexpected jam until they're able to find more work.

Sadly, those who are terminated from their jobs due to the choice they made to use illegal

drugs are abusing the unemployment program to continue to use those drugs and still have

a means of income, but not for much longer.

The Trump Administration is once again fixing what the Obama admin wasn't able to do.

The Hill reports that lawmakers are rolling back the strict stipulations on drug testing

prior to receiving unemployment and working on a sweeping mandate that will ensure that

your tax dollars aren't going to fund someone's meth habit:

"The Trump administration is looking to bring back and broaden a rule that Congress

killed last year requiring drug testing for unemployment benefits.

Using the Congressional Review Act (CRA), Republicans in March repealed an Obama-era

rule that limited the ability of states to drug test people applying for unemployment

pay.

Republicans said the 2016 rule was too narrow because it only allowed states to drug test

people whose occupations already regularly required it.

That category included airplane pilots, flight crews and air traffic controllers, commercial

and public transit drivers and any job requiring an employee to carry a firearm.

Now the Labor Department has signaled it plans to issue a broader rule that will redefine

which occupations are those that regularly drug test."

Our overburdened social programs are just the start of what the Trump Administration

wants to fix while he's in office.

Conservatives have long been frustrated with the atrocious government overreach that grew

out of proportion under the DNC's iron fist.

However, that all ends now.

This isn't the first law that the Republican-ruled houses of Congress want to roll back, and

the President will no doubt sign anything that comes to his desk if it concerns putting

the government in its rightful place.

Republicans last year used the CRA process to repeal a slew of Obama administration regulations.

The 1996 law states that, once a regulation is repealed under the law, agencies are barred

from re-issuing the same rule or a "substantially similar" rule in the future without an act

of Congress.

With President Trump in the White House, the Republican-controlled Congress used the CRA

to toss out 15 regulations — most recently one the independent Consumer Financial Protection

Bureau issued to protect consumers' right to settle disputes with financial institutions

in court."

Officials who support the reinvention of the drug testing program believe that it will

not only help the government's bottom line, but it will inspire the workforce to stop

doing whatever they were doing to get themselves fired, and get out there and work, which will

once again help the economy.

"Doug Holmes, president of Strategic Services on Unemployment and Workers' Compensation,

however, said if people have an expectation of being paid unemployment benefits under

the federal statute, they need to make themselves able and available to work — and doing so

means passing a drug test.

'This is an insurance program, it's not public assistance,' he said.

Holmes said the last regulation was too restrictive in identifying those individuals who could

be subject to a drug test and only allowed states to drug test when an individual applied

for unemployment benefits, instead of on an ongoing basis.

'An individual has to be available and able to work.

If they're not available and able to work, week by week by week, then they don't meet

the requirements to be paid unemployment compensation benefits,' he said.

'If an individual has a significant problem that renders him or her unavailable to work,

the appropriate response is to refer them to a place to get help.

They should not be paid unemployment benefits.'

In a statement, Labor Department spokesman Eric Holland said only that the agency is

'diligently working on a new proposal regarding unemployment compensation drug testing that

will be substantially different from the prior rule.'

'When it is ready, we will publish it in the Federal Register for review and comment

by the public,' he said."

Currently there are only three states doing any drug testing which are Texas, Mississippi,

and Wisconsin.

This should change by June of this year however if things go well.

That's when the Labor Department plans to put forth the new rules.

How to Get Motivated and Find Your Spark - Rule #1 - Duration: 2:27.

I have five little rules that you can follow as you find your spark and bring your spark

to life.

The first is to go after the things that you want.

Let me tell you a story.

So a friend of mine and I we went for a run in Central Park.

The roadrunners organization on the weekend they host races and it's very common at the

end of the race they'll have a sponsor who will give away something apples or bagels

or something.

And on this particular day when we got to the end of the run there were some free bagels

and they had picnic tables set up and on one side was a group of volunteers, on the table

were boxes of bagels and on the other side was a long line of runners waiting to get

their free bagel.

So I said to my friend let's get a bagel and he looked at me and said that line's too

long and I said free bagel and he said I don't want to wait in line and I was like free bagel

and he says nah it's too long and that's when I realized that there's two ways to see the

world.

Some people see the thing that they want and some people see the thing that prevents them

from getting the thing that they want.

I could only see the bagels he could only see the line and so I walked up to the line

I leaned in between two people put my hand in the box and pulled out two bagels and no

one got mad at me because the rule is you can go after whatever you want you just cannot

deny anyone else to go after whatever they want.

Now I had to sacrifice choice I didn't get to choose which bagel I got.

I got whatever I pulled out but I didn't have to wait in line so the point is - you don't

have to wait in line, you don't have to do it the way everybody else has done it, you

can do your way, you can break the rules, you just can't get in the way of somebody

else getting what they want.

Blow Away These 7 Asthma Attack Causes - Duration: 5:12.

Blow Away These 7 Asthma Attack Causes

1.

Non-Biting Insects

While people can have severe allergic reactions to certain bug bites and stings, those with

asthma still have to worry about the bugs that aren't known for either of those aggressive

or defensive behaviors.

The AAFA points out that even seemingly docile insects such as cockroaches and dust mites

can trigger an asthma attack, so you obviously won't want them hanging around your home.

These types of insects can cause allergy symptoms such as itchy eyes and runny nose in people

without asthma, and these symptoms can last for months at a time.

2.

Household Pets

If you already have a dog, cat or rabbit and you're having a lot of asthma symptoms,

then you may need to take a closer look at making sure your furry friends aren't the

cause.

"Many types of animals – both pets you have at home and animals you may encounter

outside – have been shown to trigger airway inflammation in people who are allergic,"

explains Asthma.ca.

One of the major problems with pets is dander, which is actually particles of skin that become

airborne.

However, the source notes that even an animal's saliva and bodily oil secretions can be asthma

triggers too.

Kids with asthma can be especially sensitive to pets – in fact, the source explains up

to 50-percent of children with asthma symptoms are triggered by them.

These pets can include dogs, mice, gerbils, birds – with cats being "the worst offenders".

3.

Common Cold

While having a cold can make it hard to breathe enough due to blocked nasal passages as well

as coughing or sneezing, it can actually lead to asthma attacks, according to the Mayo Clinic.

It says any respiratory infections including the common cold can be the culprit.

Having another virus like the flu or sinusitis (swelling of the sinus tissues) can also lead

to severe asthma symptoms, so it's important when you're sick to take any medically prescribed

medications and have your inhaler nearby if you've been issued one.

4.

Medications

While you should take any prescribed medications for your asthma or illnesses that could complicate

your asthma, there are some medications that can actually be a trigger as well, according

to the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology (AAAA).

These medications to watch out for can be over-the-counter drugs like aspirin and ibuprofen,

as well as beta-blockers to manage heart conditions and high blood pressure.

Also ask your doctor if you're taking medications for migraine headaches or glaucoma and experiencing

worse asthma symptoms.

5.

Stress

This is something no one wants much of, although a healthy level of stress is important to

motivate you and also to make important decisions.

However, when stress gets out of hand and becomes chronic, it can lead to a variety

of health problems including – you guessed it – asthma attacks.

WebMD says stress can come from a variety of places such as your workplace or even at

home, so it's hard to avoid.

"Stress is part of daily life – with or without asthma.

That's why it's important to find effective ways to manage stress if you do have the disorder,"

notes the source.

Relaxation techniques can be helpful to help you regain control over your respiratory challenges.

6.

Cigarette Smoke

Smoking is not only harmful for you (especially if you have asthma), but the second-hand smoke

can also be a trigger for others with asthma in the home – including kids in particular.

"If you hang out with smokers or have a family member who smokes in the house, you

are likely to have more frequent and severe asthma symptoms," notes KidsHealth.org.

The source suggests asking those offending family members to smoke outside, and not in

the car where smoke can linger.

And it should go without saying that if you have a child that's experiencing asthma

attacks, you should consider quitting or changing your habits.

7.

Exercise

Generally, physical activity is good for you, but when you have asthma you need to know

your limitations.

Exercise can be an asthma trigger, and it has a specific name – exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.

Instead of just telling you what exercises you shouldn't do if you're an asthma sufferer,

Health.com has a list of exercises that are more suitable for you.

These positive exercises for those with asthma include walking, yoga, playing baseball, golfing

(keep outdoor pollen counts in mind), racquet sports, and swimming.

RGB SSD, Case w/ Built In Water Cooling, New Overwatch Hero! -- Weekly Download #77 - Duration: 5:26.

Hey Welcome to Zach's Tech Turf and Weekly Download episode number 77, which is my tech

and PC gaming news series.

Today I'm playing some Assassin's Creed Origins which I'm finally reviewing and

I got myself a coffee for this episode.

Make sure you guys let me know in the comment section what you're sippin' on, let's

get into it.

Alright so we got some pretty cool PC hardware to talk about first this week, and one of

them is this new PC case that has a build in water cooling system.

It' DeepCool's Baronkase Liquid and it's got a build in 120mm all in one liquid cooler

for your CPU.

There's also a flow indicator on the side so you can see your coolant and to ensure

the flow rate is correct.

This is a pretty cool concept, but most of us know that 120mm AIO's are kinda pointless

because they really don't perform much better , if at all better than a decent air cooler,

so I wouldn't really recommend this thing, but I like the unique idea for a gaming case.

You can pick these up next month and they are starting at around $140.

And the other cool new piece of gaming hardware this week is an RGB solid state drive.

Yea what?

2017 definitely brought us some new RGB parts like RAM sticks, mousepads, and motherboards,

but now we have what I think is the first RGB SSD drive.

It's made by Plextor and they are releasing a bunch of different models and sizes that

feature RGB, and they all include a 5 year warranty.

Might just have to put this in my new build, we shall see.

And to already wrap up the tech news for the week, Apple has started their new battery

replacement program, and you should definitely know about this if you're an iPhone user

like myself.

If you have an iPhone 6, SE, or later model, then you can bring your phone into an Apple

store and get a battery replacement for just 29 bucks, it's actually free if you have

Apple Care protection.

As I stated last week, Apple has admitted that their phones have been throttling the

CPU when the battery gets degraded so I would definitely recommend doing the upgrade if

you're trying to prolong the use of your iPhone.

Before jumping into the PC gaming news this week, I wanna quickly let you guys know about

NordVPN.

NordVPN is one of the highest rated VPNs or Virtual Private networks, that allow you to

browse the internet privately, securely, and with no history logs whatsoever.

It's super easy to use, all you do is select which server from around the world you wanna

connect to, and you're done.

Enjoy clutch features like double VPN protection for extra security, an internet kill switch

for the very rare time the VPN disconnects, super fast peer-to-peer downloads, and unlimited

bandwidth for just above 3 bucks a month if you sign up for 2 years.

I actually signed up for a year of NordVPN at full retail price way before they hooked

me up with a referral link and a discount code for you guys, so I obviously recommend

them as my go to VPN service.

Head on over to nordvpn.com/zach or click the first link in the description to learn

more.

Alright so to start off the PC gaming news for the week, Valve released it's 12 biggest

earners as far as games go on Steam, and the list is actually somewhat surprising.

This lsit included the purchase price, DLC, and microtransactions.

There were some obvious ones on there like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and GTA V

and Rocket League, but there were a few surprising ones on there.

I had no idea that The Witcher 3 was STILL selling that many copies, or the fact that

Ghost Recon Wildlands was still making that much money.

Very interesting list.

Next up Jeff Kaplan, the lead man on the Overwatch team announced that the 27th hero in Overwatch

is no in internal testing and it's a quote "very needed" addition to the group of

heroes.

As of right now we don't really know much more about that, but I wanted to include this

piece of news so I can ask you guys who all is still playing Overwatch.

I've been trying a ton of new games lately and I honestly kinda forgot about Overwatch.

I definitely have the itch to jump back in and play so I don't know, let me know if

you guys are still rocking that game here in 2018.

Next up there was some more terrible news in the world of gaming just like last week,

but a 28 year old in Kansas was accidently killed in a swatting prank.

For those that don't know, swatting is when someone calls the police and tells them that

there's a serious crime like murder, kindnapping, etc in a livestreamer's house, that way

all the viewers can see a swat team bust open into the house.

It's a terrible terrible prank and this time the guys getting swatted was somehow

accidentally killed even though he was unarmed.

I don't think we know more about this situation yet other than I believe they have the guy

who made the call in custody.

This is really freaking stupid.

Alright and to change the mood and wrap up the short PC gaming news of the week, an amateur

game developer coded in just 2 days an actual infinite level design in Destiny 2's infinite

Forest.

If you haven't played Destiny 2 yet, there's absolutely nothing infinite about the infinite

forest, and it's crazy that in just 2 days someone coded it to actually be infinite.

Many upset Destiny 2 players consider the infinite forest a huge loss in opportunity

because of how finite it is, but I don't know, what do you guys think about this?

As I've always said, I'm definitely still rooting for Bungie to turn things around on

Destiny 2.

Well that wraps up Weekly Download episode number 77.

I wanted to thank you guys so much for the love on my last Ask Me Anything video of this

deployment that I just uploaded on Monday, you guys are awesome.

Well I hope you guys enjoyed this video, please drop a like down below to help support my

channel, and as always, thank you for watching and please subscribe for more Zach's Tech

Turf videos.

BREAKING!! TRUMP Is ARRESTING BOTH!! FINALLY!!! - Duration: 5:04.

BREAKING!!

TRUMP Is ARRESTING BOTH!!

FINALLY!!!

President Trump dropped a major bomb on the heads of two people significant to the Democrat

party.

He blasted them on Twitter with an explosive Tweet that called for the shocking arrest

of the top democratic nominee for President and her number one sidekick.

Trump lambasted them with a barrage of words in the 280 Twitter limit and in that very

brief message he called for Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin to be jailed.

Among scandals, investigations, and outlets like Wikileaks releasing information not previously

seen by the public, it's no wonder the pair has found them in the spotlight of Trump's

vicious Twitter account.

When Trump isn't reminding Kim Jong-un that America will nuke the daylights out of them

if they ever attack the United States, then Trump is calling out his foes left and right.

He's delivering knockout blows to everyone like he's an undefeated Glass Joe in Mike

Tyson's punch out.

Or better yet, Trump is to Twitter, what Mike Tyson was to boxing when he decimated opponents

in very short boxing matches.

They weren't matches, they were a massacre, and that's what Trump does to people.

Now we hear about Hillary Clinton making various headlines.

We read about boxes of "Muslim files" being removed from the White House.

We witness a house fire at Clinton's house, and immediately people say things like "what

files did she accidentally leave in the room that caught fire," and there's just so

much information swirling together about Clinton.

People wonder if Trump will be the one who puts her behind bars.

If he does, then what will the retaliation be?

Freedom Daily reported: President Trump made a shocking post on social

media, where he formally called for the immediate arrest of both Hillary Clinton and her Muslim

Brotherhood sidekick, Huma Abedin.

Over the past several weeks, both women's scandalous antics have been making headlines,

after news broke of how the pair removed 5 boxes of "Muslim files" from the White

House to cover Obama's dirty secrets, where the deed was accomplished after they falsely

claimed that the box contained "unclassified personal materials."

Now just 24 hours after President Trump called for their arrest, Wikileaks has just dropped

another bombshell, and now news of Guantanamo being prepared for "VIP American detainees"

is making many speculate that Trump is about to make good on his campaign promise to "lock

her up."

It gets deeper.

Wikileaks looks over the neighborly fence like Wilson from Home Improvement.

They whispered over the fence about some more damning information that could put another

dent in her career.

The Gateway Pundit stopped by to expose the New York Times for collusion with Hillary

Clinton in a scathing attempt to conceal scandals.

This was done by allegedly notifying Clinton of the stories they would run in advance,

that way Clinton could prepare her response if a "spin" was needed.

Gateway Pundit reported: "Wikileaks revealed in a midnight tweet

late Saturday into Sunday that a New York Times reporter used to email the State Department

giving them updates on stories they would be running several days in advance.

Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State at the time.

This would give her State Department enough to time to distract or put a spin on the new

revelations.

"Email shows New York Times handed over Cablegate's publication schedule to the

US government (without telling @WikiLeaks) giving the State Department, then headed by

Hillary Clinton, up to 9 days in advance to spin the revelations or create diversions,"

Wikileaks tweeted."

WikiLeaks is the one guy at school who just didn't care.

They called it as they saw it, unafraid of consequences, and brave enough to say it like

it is.

Tom Fitton is also like that.

He's the President of Judicial Watch.

He made a strong statement against Hillary and Huma Abedin.

"We already know the Obama State Department let Hillary Clinton steal and then delete

her government emails, which included classified information.

But these new records show that was only part of the scandal.

These new documents show the Obama State Department had a deal with Hillary Clinton to hide her

calls logs and schedules, which would be contrary to FOIA and other laws.

When are the American people going to get an honest investigation of the Clinton crimes?"

He's calling for a more honest investigation.

Although, with that house fire that just happened in the Clinton Compound, then it's easy

to wonder if that fire was set on purpose and information destroyed.

Then again, it doesn't make sense to destroy information in their own home.

They could have something destroyed without a trace if they wanted to do so.

It's Hillary, she can pull those things off and people know this.

Maybe the fact that they see this is why so many investigators are hesitant to truly find

anything.

Are investigators scared to crack open a hard shell full of evidence?

Is Trump the President who will hold Hillary and Huma's hands as they're walked into

prison?

What happens next?

What do you think about this?

Nostradamus Predicted End Of The World In 2018 - Last Days Prophecy - Duration: 3:01.

Nostradamus, was a 16th century French prophet who is famous ffor his book, Les Propheties.

In this book, He predicted the French revolution, the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers, and he

also predicted the rise of hitler.

His book also had some grim predictions for 2018, and one has to wonder, could he be right

again?

More on this today on IO.

What is good apocalyptic potatoes, my name is charlotte and this is IO.

Are you ready for another doomsday prophecy?

Well obviously you are because you clicked on this video.

come closer, I will tell you your future Nostradamus' book Les prophesies is a collection

of 942 poems that allegedly predict future events.

It was published in the year 1555.

Many of his predictions can be interpreted in different ways, but they appear to center

around the year 2018.

Here are his predictions for 2018.

In les Propheties, Nostradamus mentions a big war, essentially world war 3.

This war will apparently start in france, but then the rest of Europe will get involved.

He wrote, There will then be peace, that only a few will enjoy.

A war will start between the two great world powers, and it will last for a period of 27

years.

27 years?

Are u kidding me.

As a result of the war, the world economy is going to collapse.

On top of a war, he also warned that there are going to be some crazy natural disasters

in 2018.

Firstly, He said that mount Vesuvius is going to erupt.

Mount Vesuvius as in the volcano that destroyed pompey in 79 AD.

There will also apparently be a terrible earthquake, that will affect the east coast of the united

states.

The fault line where california is located has been due for a huge earthquake for years.

Next, a comet or asteroid strike.

He wrote.

A moment of great violence will coincide with the appearance of a comet in the sky.

A nuclear terrorism and natural catastrophes will destroy our planet.

And lastly, as icing on the cake Nostradamus says that thanks to advancement in medicine,

humans will live to be over 200.

Which im not exactly sure I want, considering I may have to live on a desolate planet ravaged

by war, earthquakes, volcano eruptions and nuclear terrorism.

This is the one prediction that seems most likely to come true.

We all know that modern science is advancing at an alarming rate, and there have been breakthroughs

where scientists have reversed ageing in mice.

Lets hope this is the only one of Nostradamus' predictions that actually comes true.

For now im going to respond ot some comments from our videos about a modern Nostradamus,

baba vanga.

Spongeboi – this is the dumbest video ever – I beg to differ, have you seent his one?

Put in a dumb video.

Manfredo – I've predicted that this channel is going to die – people have been saying

that since 2012, and we still here.

Arron brooks – the simpsons predict the future.

Yeah I feel like all we gotta do is watch the simpsons to figure out whats going ot

happen in 2018.

The video is over, if you liked it, you should also check out, blind mistic baba vanga has

shocking predictions for 2018.

Finding the key hole and manually unlock your Mustang if battery is dead and key fob won't work - Duration: 1:01.

Hey guys Connor Sherriff's from Steve Marshall Ford in Nanaimo. I just wanted

to show you what to do in case of the instance where your Mustang dies what

you got to do is they put the key hole in a very little hidden area. So what you

would want to do is the little cap right here this actually slides off. So if you

do so happen to have a screw driver which I came prepared with all you want

to do is you want to open up the door just the slightest bit and this little

clip here that pops off. Just like that. Remind me to grab that after. And then

you want to open up the key fob here to actually get the key out you can see

that there pop it in then just twist it and then you just go and you unlock it.

Simple as that. If you have any questions guys or anything like that love to help you out.

THE MIND CONTROL TACTICS USED BY FACEBOOK – THEY KNOW MORE ABOUT - Duration: 8:19.

THE MIND CONTROL TACTICS USED BY FACEBOOK THEY KNOW MORE ABOUT YOU THAN YOU THINK

In many ways, social media has transformed our lives, we communicate, share, learn, connect

 all via Facebook.

Its almost as if something is not posted on Facebook it didnt happen we share

all the most important moments of our lives on Facebook and it has nearly 2 billion active

users.

There is no doubt Facebook has become an integral part of our lives, but what are the detrimental

effects of too much time on Facebook and, is it as innocent as it appears, with the

birthday greetings, friendaversaries, and memories?

There is a sinister side of Facebook, however, that has been recently coming to the surface.

Whenever something becomes very popular, it is heavily encouraged and promoted in the

media, but it should be viewed with one eyebrow raised.

Its always good to take a step back and ask why, why is this so encouraged, how can

it be used against us, and is it a mechanism of control?

Its not about being fearful, its about being aware, so that you can control your

life instead of having outside influences control it for you.

Facebook, no doubt, has some very real mind control tactics that are used to keep us hooked

and in need of the validation that comes from the social media platform.

In one sense we are more connected than ever, but in another, we are more disconnected than

ever.

Staring at screens, sharing only the most glamorous parts of our lives, lurking at the

lives of others with envy.

Facebook is lacking in authenticity, there are many issues that need to be addressed

in regard to Facebook, but lets stick to the topics at hand, the mind control tactics

that Facebook uses to keep you engaged.

The Casino Effect

All of the sounds of messages, comments and notifications coming in are meant to stimulate

the brain, in the same way the flashing lights and songs do at a casino, when you hear the

bell sound of a notification or message you are excited to find out what it could be.

These sounds symbolize attention, and for those who are otherwise pretty lonely, it

can become quite addictive.

This feeling of satisfaction triggers a dose of dopamine (the feel good chemical) to be

released from the brain this is known to initiate addictive behavior.

Facial Recognition You know how when you go to tag photos, but

Facebook already knows who your friends are in the photos?

This is due to facial recognition software.

There is a theory that this is why it was called Facebook in the first place,

for the elite to be able to effectively track everyones face, this technology can track

you wherever you might go, which means they are always in the know of where you are, in

case you ever wanted to hide.

Emotional Venting By giving us, the regular Joe working class

citizens of the world a place to vent, it makes us feel subconsciously like we have

a say in what is going on in our world.

We can broadcast whatever we like on Facebook and will likely have ample likes and comments

and maybe even deep discussions to back it up, but is this actually assisting us to change

things or is this just providing us with the illusion of free speech?

This is debatable, as I do feel in some ways that Facebook (especially in previous years)

has assisted the massive changes that are occurring on our planet by bringing attention

and raising awareness about important issues that we may otherwise have never heard of.

Without Facebook, CE wouldnt be where it is today.

It certainly helped us to grow, but now that has all changed as Facebook has virtually

eliminated our organic reach, and no doubt there is some censorship going on.

Just a few years ago if you had a page liked then you would see content from that page

in your newsfeed, but now?

Good luck.

Generally speaking, you will see what Facebook wants you to see, or content from whichever

pages have the most money, which are often the big corporations.

Addiction To Likes This one is somewhat obvious, but it can easily

go unnoticed.

Every time someone likes something that you post it provides you with a sense of validation,

and if you dont get many or any likes, you cant help but feel a bit down.

How come nobody liked that, maybe no one cares what I have to say, yada yada. According

to Jason Christoff, an expert in Facebook mind control tactics:

The algorithms inside the Facebook program are set to more widely distribute what you

write to your friend list, the less you use it.

This means the first post you make in the morning, gets the most wide distribution,

and successive posts that follow, get progressively less and less distribution.

Facebook is designed like a casino machine, to give out a massive payout of likes, with

your first post in a day, to make sure youre drawn to the addiction daily.

It is also interesting to note that more likes, comments and traffic toward your page happens

when you are on it.

This means when you sit in front of the computer moving the mouse, you get more emotional rewards,

as opposed to posting and walking away.

This sort of brain activation reward control system makes people addicted to short term

reward only, making them unable to apply themselves to any project that provides a reward in the

long term future, like starting a business for example.

This short term stimuli system manufacturers a person who needs reward on a minute to minute

basis, placing real success completely out of their reach because real success is based

on accomplishing long term.

Dissident Tracking Facebook algorithms track virtually everything

about you, when you think about it, we post a lot of personal stuff on this social

network our opinions about everything, from what we like to eat, to funny cat videos

to our opinions about our governments and world leaders. Facebook is capable of

developing a pretty complete profile of what kind of person you are because, well, you

do it yourself.

Is this something to be concerned about?

Not necessarily, but under U.S. law, anything you say that is against the American government

can have you labelled as a terrorist and detained without probable cause.

It could cause you issues while crossing borders, but again I feel strongly that the more you

fear something the more you are attracting it into your existence and your reality.

Do not fear, just be aware.

As mentioned above, Facebook censors content, so the more truthful your post or your share,

the less it will be seen by other Facebook users.

Behavior Analysis Facebook behavior analysis is capable of determining

en masse whether the public is still asleep, or awake and aware to the media that is being

spoon fed to them.

When a mass shooting occurs, how are the people reacting on Facebook?

Do they generally believe the spoon fed story that the media tells or are they questioning

this information and looking at multiple sources?

Facebook knows who is asleep and who is awake.

So, What Can We Take Away From This Information?

As mentioned above, this is not about being afraid, and chances are that you are reading

this article because you came across it on Facebook.

Yes, there are still some good things about Facebook, but it is important to be aware

of the potentially harmful aspects of Facebook as well.

You can use Facebook to view the information that you want, keep up with friends and family

and to share your thoughts and opinions, but with all of the aforementioned information,

you can now control how you use it, rather then letting it control you.

Be aware of these tactics and avoid them if possible.

Much Love
