How to PAINT FUR | TUTORIAL | Medibang Paint Pro - Duration: 18:14.

hello everyone welcome to my channel my name is Jax and today I'll be showing

you how to paint fur. so anyone who's been watching this channel for a while

know that animals, creatures, things with fur make up the bulk of what I like to

draw. now I'm not a realism artist I don't paint animals to look exactly like

their real-life counterparts so in this tutorial we'll be exploring more of a

stylistic rendering of fur now this is a piece that I'll be using to demonstrate

the fur painting techniques now like most of the art on my channel this is a

commissioned piece and I just thought it'd be the perfect character for this

tutorial because we have this nice variety of fur lengths across a

character so the fur on the face is a little shorter and then towards the

cheek and neck it gets a little longer and thicker anyway so I thought this

will just be a great opportunity to show you guys a few different methods to

paint different textures of fur. anyway before we get stuck into the fur we

first need to block in the general colors and backgrounds in the character

as you can see I've already done that here but I'm going to show you a quick

time-lapse of me doing this so basically what I did was I filled in a background

with a darkish color and then use the gradient tool to make some dark and

light adjustments and then for the character I take a flat brush and just

quickly paint in their general colors I first pick colours from a reference but

then I usually adjust a bit to blend in with the overall tone of the background

for the shadows I like to make a layer on top of the base colors, clip it to the

layer underneath and then set the layer to multiply

I usually choose a light cool toned color keeping in mind the

environment the character is in and I start blocking in the shadows so for

this piece I want to delight to come in from the top right corner so I lay in

the shadows with that in mind next up I create another clipping layer on top of

the shadow layer and I set this one to overlay now to complement the cool

shadows I really wanted a nice warm light coming in front of top so I

selected a light gold color and started sweeping that in. I also then like to

play around a bit with a hue and saturation settings

just until I to get the right look and tone that I'm going for

finally I took a bit of time to place in the markings and also make a few light

blotches for where the plants and flowers in this piece were going to be

so once all that's done this is what the piece looks like with all the general

colors placed down I've merged all the layers now as well so the

characters on her own single layer I also have the layers with the rough

environment wash it in but I'm gonna keep those turned off for now since we

want to focus on the painting of the fur so first thing I'm going to show you

some of the brushes I like to use for fur and the settings I have them on and

all of these can be downloaded from the Medibang cloud and if you don't know how

to do that I have a super helpful video explaining how to access the cloud and

all the new features you get when you do including all the brushes I'm going to

use here so firstly we have a flat brush with a wide end just gonna turn up the

ease and mixing of colors up and I'm just gonna turn down the load color just

down a bit and what this does is it makes the color go on a little less

strongly and when it's applied to color on the same layer it actually blends in

more with the color rather than putting them down on full of passage so that's brush

number one brush number two is basically the exact same brush but what I've done

is I've double tapped it and I've turned down the min width to pretty much 0% you

can make a bit higher but around that with press okay and then

instead we're going to reverse the mixing colors and local color options so

the low color is now higher and the ease of mixing color it's just actually maybe

set that about halfway so what this does is it gives you a nice pointed sharp

edge which you can make nice crisp lines with okay and next

up we have flat brush dry and this is one actually just discovered quite

recently I'd actually didn't have this in my usual repertoire for most of my

older paintings but it is actually a really really nice slightly textured

brush you can see the individual bristles and

basically I just have one and I have the width set on a relatively high minimum

with press okay and then we have nice soft brush that we can add some texture

to the fur

okay and finally we have this one this is a first texture that I

quite like using and this is one that I've downloaded online

so again if you watch the videos I've linked to before about getting more brushes

in medibang there's a link in that video and also in the description for

this video below of where you can download this brush and it's quite like

the one the flat brush dry but it just has slightly larger bristles slightly

more crisp slightly more harsh so those are the four basic brushes that I'll be

using for the fur painting okay so one of the first things I like to do when

I'm painting fur is just to gently sketch out where the clumps of fur are

going to be so here we're going to have longer strands of fur on the tigers

cheeks and also a longer neck so I'm just gonna lightly sketch in some lines

just to indicate where these longer clump of fur are going to fall now

things to keep in mind when doing this you want to know where the general

direction of the fur of the animal it's going in so

you don't want the fur just flying off everywhere so in this case fur is

failling quite flat towards the body so I'm just going to sketch them in a

nice downward motion just very lightly very general and it's just just give you

some nice broad guidelines so you don't get lost

whilst you're painting

so now I'm going to try to say where so I'm using the flat wet brush here just

gonna pick one of those slightly darker colors and then I'm just gonna make I'm

just gonna stroke in some shadows just below where the clumps the tips of the

console fur are going to be just like lightly stroke them in there we go okay

so now I'm just gonna take the flat dry brush just gonna softly blend that in a

bit more just so we don't have harsh painted looking lines alright so what we're

going to do now is we're gonna take one of the sharper tipped brushes and we're

just going to start painting in individual clufts off fur so pick a nice

relatively lighter color in comparison to the shadows that you put in and just

turn down the ease of mixing of it just start gently putting in fur shaped blocks

of color okay and here's a trick once you do that you just want to take the

flatter edge brush and just blend those fur clumps in just like that

and then go for the thinner edge brush and just define those clumps of fur just

a little bit just make a nice shadow just to contrast with the tuft of fur

to explain this process in a nutshell essentially we're laying down the

shadows first before going in with lighter colors to create the individual

sections of fur and blending them in with the colors in between the highlights and

the shadows since we don't have a brush that can directly create nice sharp

opaque tips and then subsequently become wider and blend in with the base color

we had to do this manually with a sharp flat brush and then use wider edged

brushes to blend in a sharp stroke and yes this is quite a tedious process

especially when you have large bodies of fur to cover but texturing anything in

general requires a lot of time and patience luckily this technique is very

simple and very easy to master a couple of shortcuts I find very useful firstly

of course is ctrl Z the undo option you'll notice that I use it quite a lot

when I paint and unapologetically so I always never get the shape or stroke I

watched the first time around so I keep undoing it until I do another

really useful shortcut I have set is the Alt key when I hold down the Alt key the

brush tool becomes a color picker and I use this to pick the in-between colors I

use when blending and also when applying new tufts of fur occasionally the color

I need won't be an existing color in image sometimes I need a lighter or

darker color in which case I usually start out by picking an existing color

and then moving the slider in the color wheel a little higher or lower depending

on what I need I like to make the tip of each tuft of fur the brightest to

contrast with the shadow underneath and the base of the tuft becomes darker as

it blend in with the shadow of the fur above it because of this one good idea

is to start from the bottom upwards fur a higher up on the animals body tends to

slightly layer on top and cover the fur underneath by working from the bottom up

you don't need to blend every single tuft of fur in perfectly because you can

just cover the base with the fur on top now I didn't do that here because a high

lack *foresight but that's absolutely fine as well it just means when you work on a

lower layer you have to be careful not to paint over the tuft you already

painted alright now that you know the general technique of painting

Tufts of fur there are a few additional things to keep in mind to make them look

right remember is a three-dimensional texture that is

attached through a three-dimensional body now I'm not the best when it comes to

accurately representing anatomy but I know the neck of the animal isn't just a

cylinder it has curves and muscles in a case of tigers like this one they tend

to have pretty wide necks and here she's also turning towards the right as well

so the fur attached also nice is shift slightly in the direction the head

is facing never be afraid to look up references when trying to figure out

where the fur is supposed to fall they're there to help and it's really going to

help improve your art and make the fur look more realistic so that's it for

long fur now I'm just going to timelapse through me painting through the rest of

the neck and chest one of the final touches I liked to do for long fur is to

take a small sharp brush and then just draw in a few individual strands of hair

coming off the larger tufts just to give that finishing detail

okay so now that the long fur on the neck is done I'm going to show you how I

like to paint the smaller shorter furs on the face and if you wanted you could

use the same technique I showed you with the long fur but just reduce the size of

the individual tufts but that will take forever to finish in my opinion with

short for using a textured brush like the fur brush or the dry flat brush I

showed you earlier to quickly paint on and give the impression of a fur texture

I'm going to use the same technique as before where I paint on the shadowed

areas first and then I'm going to take a lighter color and then paint over those

shadows to create areas of highlight in terms of the brush settings I like to

keep the load color of the fur brush quite high because I want the fur

texture to be quite visible if the load color was too low and the ease of

mixing too high I would have a much harder time getting

a nice texture fur a look okay so now I'm just gonna do this all over the face

and the same thing with the markings just letting the brush do all the work

for me to create a simple short fur texture and that's pretty much all there

is to it I'm going to do a time lapse again and I'll be back at the end of the

video with the finished painting

all right so this is the finished painting I put all the foreground plants

and post-production sparklies in as well I really hope this tutorial was helpful

this is generally how I like to paint fur at the moment sometimes I change

things up a bit depending on how I'm feeling but the basic technique remains

shadows first and then tufts of highlighted fur on after thank you so

much for watching don't forget to like comment and subscribe if you haven't

BREAKING!!! TRUMP FINALLY DID IT! IT'S NOT Free Anymore! - Duration: 5:02.

REAKING!!!

TRUMP FINALLY DID IT!

IT'S NOT Free Anymore!

Hard times can overtake any of us and if you don't have a great safety net those hard

times might just destroy your life by making you lose your home or car, or both.

Because most of Americans don't have the proper amount of "hard times insurance,"

the government has a program that has got your back, in the form of unemployment pay.

Unfortunately, unemployment is something that many abuse in order to support their illegal

habits.

Unemployment was meant to be something that could get a hard working person out of an

unexpected jam until they're able to find more work.

Sadly, those who are terminated from their jobs due to the choice they made to use illegal

drugs are abusing the unemployment program to continue to use those drugs and still have

a means of income, but not for much longer.

The Trump Administration is once again fixing what the Obama admin wasn't able to do.

The Hill reports that lawmakers are rolling back the strict stipulations on drug testing

prior to receiving unemployment and working on a sweeping mandate that will ensure that

your tax dollars aren't going to fund someone's meth habit:

"The Trump administration is looking to bring back and broaden a rule that Congress

killed last year requiring drug testing for unemployment benefits.

Using the Congressional Review Act (CRA), Republicans in March repealed an Obama-era

rule that limited the ability of states to drug test people applying for unemployment

pay.

Republicans said the 2016 rule was too narrow because it only allowed states to drug test

people whose occupations already regularly required it.

That category included airplane pilots, flight crews and air traffic controllers, commercial

and public transit drivers and any job requiring an employee to carry a firearm.

Now the Labor Department has signaled it plans to issue a broader rule that will redefine

which occupations are those that regularly drug test."

Our overburdened social programs are just the start of what the Trump Administration

wants to fix while he's in office.

Conservatives have long been frustrated with the atrocious government overreach that grew

out of proportion under the DNC's iron fist.

However, that all ends now.

This isn't the first law that the Republican-ruled houses of Congress want to roll back, and

the President will no doubt sign anything that comes to his desk if it concerns putting

the government in its rightful place.

Republicans last year used the CRA process to repeal a slew of Obama administration regulations.

The 1996 law states that, once a regulation is repealed under the law, agencies are barred

from re-issuing the same rule or a "substantially similar" rule in the future without an act

of Congress.

With President Trump in the White House, the Republican-controlled Congress used the CRA

to toss out 15 regulations — most recently one the independent Consumer Financial Protection

Bureau issued to protect consumers' right to settle disputes with financial institutions

in court."

Officials who support the reinvention of the drug testing program believe that it will

not only help the government's bottom line, but it will inspire the workforce to stop

doing whatever they were doing to get themselves fired, and get out there and work, which will

once again help the economy.

"Doug Holmes, president of Strategic Services on Unemployment and Workers' Compensation,

however, said if people have an expectation of being paid unemployment benefits under

the federal statute, they need to make themselves able and available to work — and doing so

means passing a drug test.

'This is an insurance program, it's not public assistance,' he said.

Holmes said the last regulation was too restrictive in identifying those individuals who could

be subject to a drug test and only allowed states to drug test when an individual applied

for unemployment benefits, instead of on an ongoing basis.

'An individual has to be available and able to work.

If they're not available and able to work, week by week by week, then they don't meet

the requirements to be paid unemployment compensation benefits,' he said.

'If an individual has a significant problem that renders him or her unavailable to work,

the appropriate response is to refer them to a place to get help.

They should not be paid unemployment benefits.'

In a statement, Labor Department spokesman Eric Holland said only that the agency is

'diligently working on a new proposal regarding unemployment compensation drug testing that

will be substantially different from the prior rule.'

'When it is ready, we will publish it in the Federal Register for review and comment

by the public,' he said."

Currently there are only three states doing any drug testing which are Texas, Mississippi,

and Wisconsin.

This should change by June of this year however if things go well.

That's when the Labor Department plans to put forth the new rules.

What do you think about this?

So, I think it's really been able to help me

relate to these kids and show them that if I can do it, you can do it.

And I'm here for you.

And we can work through it together and we

can find a way out of it.

I think the children is what really inspires me.

I have so much fun with them every day.

It's, seriously, like the best job in the world

because we laugh all the time!

We learn together all the time, and we get

to celebrate all of the things that we overcome.

Whether it's our homework, or just trying something new,

or being just creative together.

I think seeing the smiles on their faces and

listening to the pure joy that they have when

they're talking to each other or when they're talking to me.

Or when I'm just walking down the hallway

and they're like, "Hi Miss Amanda! Hi!"

I'm just like, "Whoa! Who said that?

Hey, what's up, how was school?"

And they're like, "I had a good day!"

And I think, to me, that's the motivating factor.

It's just their happiness.

Suicide Squad • Movie Review #JPMN - Duration: 3:55.

An ensemble bore.

Released in the summer of 2016, this superhero action film grossed three-quarters of a billion

dollars, despite being raked by critics.

But it did win an Academy Award win for its make-up and hairstyling!

The cockamamie plot follows shadowy government-type Viola Davis as she recruits a bunch of unstable

criminals to rescue her from an unstable criminal she recruited earlier.

Do I have that right?

Yeah... the story really is that dumb.

DC Comics' desperate attempt to create their own, expansive 'cinematic universe' is on

full, pathetic display in this PG-13 rated film - as character after character are introduced

via elaborate flashbacks and pointless montages.

The entire first act feels like a lengthy "previously on" briefing before the finale

episode of a season-long drama.

Obviously, laying this groundwork is necessary - but it would have been far better delivered

in a standalone feature or two.

Worse still, the disproportionate character development immediately telegraphs which member

of the titular mercenary group is expenzdable to the script.

A prediction which is confirmed mere minutes after Slipknot is unceremoniously introduced,

and then almost immediately dispatched.

Although the story is drawn-out to 135 minutes, it still feels needlessly rushed... and yet,

simultaneously it doesn't seem like anyone is in a hurry to save the world.

The characters take even take a lengthy pause for some drinks at an abandoned hotel bar.

Will Smith does his best with a lazy script, bringing real life and depth to his character,

while his gorgeous "Focus" co-star Margot Robbie steals every scene she's in.

Her bubbly charisma, psychotic persona, and drop-dead looks create an irresistible cocktail

you can't help but enjoy.

Their participation save this film from becoming totally unwatchable.

Meanwhile, Jared Leto's take on The Joker looks like a high schooler's aborted Halloween

costume.

A precipitous fall from Heath Ledger's indelible performance in "The Dark Knight".

There's another dozen, reasonably prominent names in the cast like Jai Courtney, Joel

Kinnaman, and Scott Eastwood - but each and every one is wasted or mishandled.

Some brief, uncredited, appearances from Ben Affleck's caped crusader are pretty cool though.

The spastic fight sequences are a mix of poorly choreographed combat mixed with CGI-bullshittery.

The fact that director David Ayer attempts to juggle a dozen separate characters - in

dimly lit, non-description locations - doesn't help either.

All DC properties seem to be under the impression that "dark and gritty" automatically equals

compelling entertainment.

I mean, look at this close-up shot from the climatic fight sequence; nothing but blurry,

de-saturated clutter.

In regards to music, DC Comics is once again shamelessly playing catch-up, as they attempt

to mimic the incredible "Guardians Of The Galaxy" soundtrack.

Rather than connecting these songs to the narrative in any compelling or emotional way,

they're just haphazardly used as 10-second leitmotifs.

A distracting after-thought that not only ruins their effectiveness, but illustrates

how desperate the film is to keep things 'fun'.

"Suicide Squad" may have a couple memorable characters and sequences, but it lacks cohesion

or purpose.

Whether you lay blame at Ayer's feet or with the studio executives - the end result is

the same; a jumbled mess of periodically entertaining moments, lost amongst their surroundings.

"Suicide Squad" is an unfocused waste of a promising cast.

I thought it was MEH.

That does it for this review - but if you'd like to watch more "Movie Night", click or

Ask Manpreet | How To Make A Girl Like You | Expert Advice - Duration: 2:34.

hi everyone welcome back so today we're going to be talking about the five

different ways you can make a girl like you in my professional expert opinion so

number one wear read studies have shown that women find men who are wearing any

clothing with the red color to be more attractive this is because

women associate red with power which ultimately makes the guy wearing red

seem more attractive to them number two make steady eye contact with

her for two to four second and then look away

so make eye contacts for two to four seconds and look away this will build

your self-confidence and that will establish trust and intimacy with her

number three number three is remember her name and repeat it throughout the

conversation when you're talking to her we as human beings we like it when someone

remembers our name and pronounces it correctly as human beings when someone doesn't

pronounce it correctly or when someone doesn't remember it not very good feeling

right so try to remember her name and use it throughout the conversation and

anyone else who's in the room as well which can be a person working in the

restaurant try to remember their needs as well this

will make you seem very unique and an interesting person to get to know number

four is at the place that you're meeting try to be more of a host rather than

going with the flow so you know when someone comes over to your house you

know you make sure you know they're comfortable you bring them tea from the

cookies you know you make sure that you know they feel good at your place what

you want to do at the restaurant you want to ask her hey would you like

some dessert and if she know she's looking for the washroom you can be like hey the

washrooms right over there to the right and that is going to make you seem

way more charming and way more unique because you're you're

actually working the room number 5 number 5 is the flirtatious handshake

now if you're feeling bold if you're feeling brave man and your feeling super

confident you should try this this is when you walk into the room and you see

her you make eye contact you smile and then you look into her eyes and then you

shake her hand and when you when you're shaking her hand you shake it for a

little longer that is going to make you seem very

charming so try the flirtatious handshake

ICE Director Fires Back At Sanctuary California — Throws Down The Gauntlet With 4 Words - Duration: 34:25.

ICE Director Fires Back At Sanctuary California — Throws Down The Gauntlet With 4 Words

This January, a law went into effect that makes all of California a sanctuary state.

The move is a pathetic attempt to undermine President Donald Trump's plans to protect

America, and it puts California's citizens at risk.

However, ICE Director Thomas Homan had some strong words for the super-liberal state,

and he didn't hold anything back.

Governor Jerry Brown recently made California a sanctuary state.

ICE Director Homan has something to say about that.

(Photo Credit: Thomas Hawk/Flickr/U.S. Customs and Border Protection/Flickr)

Sanctuary policy prevents local law enforcement from cooperating with federal agents.

Specifically, it prevents them from holding onto criminals who are illegal aliens.

Police are forced to let them go before ICE or other federal officers can apprehend them.

It is a shocking violation of federal law.

More than that, it jeopardizes the safety of every law-abiding citizen.

Liberal bastions throughout the United States have some form of sanctuary policy.

Democrats love them because it protects illegal aliens.

They are under the delusion that if they pander to illegals, they'll vote for them.

I'll let that sink in.

Yes, Democrats are that stupid and desperate.

These policies protect criminals.

They put the interests of murderers, drug dealers, and rapists above citizens.

Liberals don't seem to mind.

Acting ICE Director Homan spoke about California's new sanctuary status.

He very plainly said it's not going to stop the federal government.

California "better hold on tight."

Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan said California "better

hold on tight" after its liberal Democratic governor allowed a sanctuary state law to

take effect this week…

"I think it's terrible," Homan said, adding that Brown's action put politics

in front of public safety…

He said that rank-and-file police officers are opposed to the new measure and that Brown's

administration didn't consult them before approving the law.

"If [Brown] thinks he is protecting the community, he's doing quite the opposite,"

Homan said.

"[Brown] is knowingly putting law enforcement at risk."

"There's no sanctuary from law enforcement," he said.

"California better hold on tight – they're about to see a lot more deportation officers.

If politicians don't protect their communities then ICE will."

[Source: Fox New]

ICE Director Thomas Homan is not mincing words here.

Because of California's new sanctuary law, more ICE officers will be in the state.

Sanctuary laws only work if federal agents can't get to the arrested criminals in time.

ICE can conveniently circumvent the policy by having plenty of agents on the ground in

CA.

This might seem like a petty response by Homan, but he, in fact, has no choice.

Because of this terrible new law, California will become a magnet for criminal aliens,

more so than ever before.

Drug cartels, human traffickers, and other criminals will prioritize entering the U.S.

through California simply because they know they are safer there.

Doesn't that make you want to move to California right now?

No one in their right mind would say yes to that.

ICE Director Thomas Homan has to send more agents to California because of the increase

in danger.

Legions of criminal aliens will flood the state because of Jerry Brown's terrible

new law.

Homan said illegal alien smuggling organizations will use the California law as a "selling

point" and that Brown "bit off a lot more than he can chew."

Homan said that Brown and other sanctuary-jurisdiction leaders may have violated 8 U.S. Code § 1324

– relating to "harboring certain aliens."

He said he hopes the Justice Department will look into whether officials can be criminally

charged under the statute.

[Source: Fox New]

California does not know what kind of chaos it has unleashed.

Every corner of the state will be in danger.

Criminal aliens will exploit the region like never before.

The state already struggles.

It neglects needed infrastructure to support the free-loading aliens and criminals already.

Imagine how bad it will get in coming years.

It's a sad turn of events, for a once great state.

Liberal lawmakers are driving California into ruin.

What will it take for things to turn around?

Will the conservatives, who are still left, be able to right the ship?

Or will they smartly flee to greener pastures?

Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain: Things are not looking good for sunny

California or the slimy criminals whom they wish to provide sanctuary.
