Youtube daily report Feb 21 2018

Hello everyone! Welcome to Baozi & Hana's Makeup Channel

Today, I am going to do makeup for Baozi

So this is an episode from the 'Boyfriend Does Makeup For Boyfriend' series

I will be using some of the newly launched products from Flower Knows

So this episode is also partly to introduce the new products

But please don't feel that the episode title is misleading! It is still a makeup tutorial

It is still a video of me doing makeup for Baozi!

It is still a 'Boyfriend Does Makeup for Boyfriend' episode

Let's welcome Baozi! Baozi! Baozi! Let's welcome Baozi to take a seat!

Alright, it has been so long since Baozi has…

Appeared barefaced on video

No! You just haven't appeared for a long time

Recently there are many consecutive solo videos of me, and I saw comments saying:

'Ah, I wish to see Baozi! I like Baozi! Where is Baozi?! I want to watch Baozi!'

I am here! I am here!

You all are so annoying

It goes without saying, the highlight of this episode is to do makeup for Baozi

What kind of makeup are we doing?

Female makeup! Because you haven't had female makeup in a long time

Moreover, today's theme is Doing Makeup For A Seme

Are you a seme?

Yes

You are not. Your attitude right now totally doesn't give the feel of a seme

I AM A SEME!

Alright, then let's maintain this attitude and begin straightaway!

First, we are going to do the base makeup

As the focus is on Flower Knows new beauty blender

It doesn't matter which brand of foundation I am using

I squeezed some foundation on my hand, this is a rather fluid foundation

Actually, I don't quite recommend using a beauty blender to apply fluid foundation

But this beauty blender doesn't absorb much product, so… whatever

Apply foundation evenly on Baozi's face with patting motions

Pat pat pat, use the patting method

I am using the flat-based teardrop shape beauty blender

Look, the entire base makeup looks very even and well-fitted, just like it is glowing

What is glowing?

Glowing, glowing!

What is glowing?

It means radiant

There is some excess foundation on my hand, can apply it to the neck

Ah! You dirtied my T-shirt!

You are clearly not doing the makeup seriously

How can it be?

You have bad techniques

Stop it! I don't

Apply concealer generally on the face like this, then take out the beauty blender

I am using the tip now, pat pat pat

The more heavily powdered a makeup product is, the more suitable it is to use a beauty blender for application

As it will make the product go on the face much easier

Why is the concealer so thick? Haha

I said it just now! You applied too much!

No, it is originally like this, take a look

Can you pat more upwards?

Oh, okay

Even your fake eye bags have been concealed!

Hahaha! What are you doing?

I want to have fake eye bags!

Oh, you want them? Yes

I will draw them for you later on

For setting the makeup, we can also use the beauty blender to apply loose powder

Is it so awesome? Yes

We will not use the baking method today

I dabbed some loose powder with the beauty blender, then pat off the excess on my hand

Once the amount leftover is sufficient, apply loose powder on the face like this

For places which are harder to set the makeup, for example under the eyes, use the pointed tip to apply

The base makeup is done!

We used a beauty blender as our only makeup tool to complete the entire base makeup

So isn't this beauty blender really awesome? Isn't it?

Also, using it to apply makeup products gives a better coverage effect

But! I must say, you can see that it still absorbs a little bit of powder

As a sponge type of product, it is impossible for it to totally not absorb any powder

But the new beauty blenders absorb less powder than the previous ones

At a price of RMB 19.90, it is also rather affordable

I truly recommend everyone to try it and see if it is good to use

RMB 19.90, it is really value-for-money

Tada~ Baozi suddenly had his eyebrows drawn and face contoured, isn't it amazing?

Alright, we are going to do eye makeup soon, this is also the segment where we will introduce new products

So we skipped the steps for brows and contouring, oh of course Baozi has put on double eyelid tapes just now

Today we will be using the super cute Candy Cat Highlight & Contour Palette from Flower Knows

It is really one of my recent favourite highlight & contour products, I have hit pan on this eyeshadow

Alright, we are starting on the eye makeup now! Today's highlights are these! Tada~

Which eyeshadow palette will you be using on me today?

I haven't even introduced them yet. They are our Rococo Cats 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palettes

Seriously, this packaging, this feel, oh! Gosh! Please buy them!

They are simply too cute!

Once opened up, there is a super cute illustrated standee here

I have elaborated on each of them in the previous 4 solo episodes

Please watch the videos if you have missed them!

Today, I will be using this palette which has a rather special shade

Yes, this is the one, Elizabeth eyeshadow palette

Wow, it is really so cute

Once opened up, it has a colour combination like this

It is a warm-toned palette with gold, orangey pumpkin shades

Let's begin straightaway!

Use Flower Knows eyeshadow brush to pick up this colour

Oh! This eyeshadow brush is no longer in production, so it can't be purchased anymore

Anyway, I will use this eyeshadow brush now

Pick up this pumpkin shade

I think I have never used this shade for makeup before

I must say, this eyeshadow is rather highly pigmented

So the powder is a little loose, it can't be totally free from loose powder

See it? Look at how obvious the colour is

Didn't you just apply only a little?

The colour is obvious even when I applied just a little

So after applying, I will be like a big pumpkin

Next, let's apply on the other side

It is really so pigmented!

Use a pencil bush

Are you going to draw fake eye bags for me?

I want to continue using this pumpkin shade, because it is simply too eye-catching

The colour is so vibrant

Of course it is

After using the pumpkin shade as a base colour, use this shade

This is a warm-toned shimmery pink shade

Use it to brighten the inner eye corners

This shade is so shiny and mesmerising

You are so mesmerising

Really?

You are so mesmerising up close

I am mesmerising from afar too

Then apply this shimmery golden orange shade with a finger

This will add some shine to the eye makeup

If you have puffy eyes, you can skip this step

Instead, use these 2 matte shades on the right, followed by this shimmery shade on the top left to brighten the inner eye corners

Now, I am going to use this deepest shade

Next, take an angled brush to pick up the deepest shade

Use it to draw the eyeliner

Just like this, I did a simple contouring of the eyelids

Apply the same shade under the eyes

This eye makeup is actually the same as the one I did in EP49

For more detailed explanations, you can watch that episode

In this episode, I just want to see how Baozi will look like after using this palette

See if you can look like me on that day, transformed into a

GODDESS

But my base is not as good as yours

Sigh, it can't be helped, but you can acquire it through efforts

Okay, use a loose blending brush to blend out the edges so that the eyeshadow looks natural

Wow, this eyeshadow is so beautiful, just like the colour of sunset

Beautiful cry!!

Crazy! Are you crazy?

You can say gorgeous, why can't I say beautiful cry?

Stop saying anymore!

Alright, the eyeshadow portion is done!

As everyone can see, this eyeshadow palette is highly pigmented!

Given the quality of the palette at this price point, I think it is really value-for-money

Maybe you might not feel it just from watching the video

But once you have the actual product, you will feel that it is really so cute

It is designed with an illustrated border here

Although cute, it doesn't have a mirror

So, if you are making purchases on Flower Knows shop, you can consider getting a mirror too

'Aren't I clever? Yay! I have a mirror now~' kind of feel

The eyeshadow palette I used just now was Elizabeth

It is called Elizabeth

I feel that it is suitable for girlish eye makeup looks, or even more exaggerated ones

Hereby, I will briefly introduce the other 3 palettes

First up is this Cat Earl, Wilhelm

This palette has reddish brown shades

Its red shade is definitely the highlight of this palette

It is a tomato red shade, which is highly pigmented and vibrant

I absolutely love this palette because I like red eyeshadows

The eye makeup achieved by using this reddish brown palette is very cool

I feel that it is very suitable for cosplay

Yes, because many cosplayers like to apply a patch of red at the outer eye corners

So beautiful~ kind of feel

This palette is Cat Madame Katherine

Its colour combination looks like this

It consists of all shimmery shades, it looks so mesmerising and shiny

The colour combination is made up of pink and purple shades

This pink shade is simply beautiful!

It has a golden shimmer to it

As our light is shining on it, it looks a bit too bright

It is just a pink shade with golden shimmers

Just by pairing this pink shade with this purple shade, you will feel wow, so stunning

Yes, look who's the one who came up with the colour combination

Of course I did

Of course

Ok, the last palette is our Cat Earl, Antony

This palette has 2 shimmery and 2 matte shades

It is a chocolate eyeshadow palette

I strongly recommend this palette, because I have many chocolate, earth-toned eyeshadow palettes too

You won't go wrong with this palette, it goes well with anything

If you buy this, it won't disappoint you and will surely be useful to you

It suits all types of female looks, be it cool girls, quiet girls or beautiful girls

Yes, everyone is very beautiful

No matter which look you wish to try, you can use it

This shade doesn't look so deep, it is only obvious up close and very suitable for blending

As for this chocolate shade, honestly I don't think it is so deep, but its effect is very special

Anyway, if you cannot decide which palette is suitable for you

'Will the reddish brown palette suit me?' 'That colour looks too orangey, will it be nice?'

If you really cannot decide, then I strongly recommend Antony palette, you won't go wrong with it

The most unexpected thing was, this palette was the last one we finalised on

After we were done with it and gave it to some of our testers for reviews

Everyone unexpectedly loved this palette the most out of the 4

OMG! Why were the responses so unexpected?

I suddenly thought 'why are their tastes so mainstream?'

Of course I am not looking down on people who love this palette, it is very suitable for beginners

So if you are a makeup beginner, do consider this!

The entire makeup is done!

Today's makeup is very gorgeous!

Mesmerising, a female broadcaster style

Why do I feel like I am a scheming female broadcaster?

That is still a female broadcaster!

Alright, let's talk about today's lip makeup

I used Apple Soda lip gloss from Flower Knows

It is an apple red shade with slight shimmers, just 'Wow, Beautiful cry!'

For blusher, I used Genki Cat Blush from Flower Knows, that's all

So now, we are going to do the thing we always do, yes, that's right, do it!

Transformed!

Welcome back!

You look quite cute like this, hehehe

Show everyone your eye makeup

I think it is because you are using a male voice to speak, that's why it is a bit… hmm

But I don't know how to use other voices to speak

You can imitate Lin Chi-Ling

No way, no way~

'Fighting~'

'Ah, I won't forget you~'

You didn't get the feel right

What kind of feel? 'Ahhh, I won't forget you~'

Which show did you watch? Hahaha

Let's ask Baozi: What do you think of today's makeup?

I am not used to it, the false lashes are uncomfortable

Your voice is too fierce, actually you don't have to imitate Lin Chi-Ling, just speak in a whiny tone

Whine to the camera. That is not call whining! Your expression is too fierce

Then what is considered whining? Why don't you perform a little?

Alright

What are you doing? Why are you laughing at me~! Stop laughing~~

I wish to drink bubble tea today~

Then just drink it

No! Not like this!

Alright, which flavour do you want? I will buy it for you now~

Normally you will not react like this

How did I react?

You are like 'Ah...'

Ah...

【I don't understand what they said hahahahahahaha】

Don't say "Ah", hurry buy it for me~ buy it for me~

Why are you pouting your lips?

Is it that you cannot continue performing anymore?

A little

Hahaha, no way!

Ah, I don't feel good…

Don't be so cold alright?

Then what should I do? 'Ah! I DON'T FEEL GOOD!'

Your performance skills are either too bad or too over, this is not good, you know?

Think of how I always whine to you

Baozi, buy milk tea!

No! No!

Hubby, help me buy milk tea~~

Huh? Since when are you like this? You always go 'BAOZI! BUY MILK TEA!' like this

Baozi, Baozi, help me buy milk tea~ I wish to drink Red Tea Macchiato with 50% sugar

Can you do it?

Not really

Can you do it then?

Didn't I just do it?

But normally can you do it?

Hahaha, what are you doing?

Fine, that's right I am just a performer, whatever I said just now were for video effects

Normally, I totally don't like to whine, and…

'BAOZI' Hahaha, let me help you perform abit

And I am especially fierce

Hahahaha, you cannot perform anymore right? This is the most natural

What are you doing~? How can you say this~! Quick, hug me tightly~!

You are hugging too tightly, hahaha enough! The end!

I want to turn this imaginary world around That María painted me in that kindergarten,

Or maybe I should read a dictionary To erase the meaning of the ordinary.

I turn on the television and see a cat talking,

I go out to the street and I see dogs barking,

When something happens, media leaps cackling,

There are no longer people just rambling zombies.

I feel like a baby with a microphone in my hand,

Trying to talk next to the notes of this piano,

I think that thinking asleep is not a way out Because in this situation there is no question of perspective.

There's still hope or that's what I think,

Maybe I can be crazy but in your eyes I see it,

We are a sunflower looking up,

If we work together there will be no lost game.

Mission Builder #10 - How to edit the weather - English Subtitles - Duration: 10:30.

Hey, this is Revientor Reborn and this are the BMS Tutorials about the weather and mission building

here in the BMS web page, in community mods, you can find the VMT tool, and you can download and each one of those tutorials

this tool come from other one, the wheater gen, it have a ton of tutorials,

I already have it download and decompressed, just run it, and will show this window, you can load a briefing from one mission, this is good to avoid see what have the enemy, with this tool you can make a briefing for your team of the info you want

I am going to open any mission, this one for example

here is where the manual of this tool say that you can wait for a while, be patient

now in a few second other window come up, this tool is really good to show a briefing to the pilots

I just found a bug... lol, here you have the data

you can select the data to be shown from one country or both or all...

here you can set the light, text size, icon size...

as you can see all the lines with text with under points you can see a help text keeping the mouse over it

airforce, more configuration, in this mission there is only this airport when the mouse is over the name the base is showed

+you can move the map select a square...

flights, here you can select the flight to see the route, also you can change the size of the info, and the different mission colors, you can save the weather in different formats

the very same options than in BMS

here in the map you can select the different map timin to generate a different maps for your campaign or what ever

here you can save 15, 20 steps/maps with this settings, you will have to set the speed of course

here you can see the movement

you can select what layers see

the wind layer, pressure, temperature, and weather type

you can generate here some random weather, and you can remember the seed number if you like that random weather

this is the weather fo the 111, you can change a little bit, the wind speed, the heading, this is a cool tool to make something random

here you can change the max an min value of the pressure, and you see the weather map updated with the pressure values

you can play with the seed and the pressure to get a easy way of different weathers

it´s good because you almost do not do any work

this is the very same options than BMS weather window

you can here make some areas to get a static and desired wind values, in that area you can set a determined speed and heading of the wind

for landing or whatever you think

Also you can get a wheater area with stabilized weather

you can set any size, this tool is cool for this two things, very easy to play with it

will be cool have a brush to paint other areas with other weather

with the random option you have to think CERO, super easy

I am not sure about this crossfare, the help text is not clear to my also,

Is kind of eventual winds? I am not sure, this is more for briefing, or make a random weather, remember to save as txw for the tacs, of Fmap if you want it for other mission or to use in BMS weather window

there is other tool out there, that you can download the weather from a web and just set it up in bms, I will try to find it and see it in other tutorial,

I hope you liked the video, sorry

subscribe, thumbs up and the next video will be also about the weather

bye bye

How to layer mask in Photoshop (Lesson 29) - Duration: 8:20.

Hello viewers!

I am Rakib.

In this lesson, I will show you how to layer mask in Photoshop.

Before I start I should tell something that is from the beginning I was using Photoshop

Creative Cloud 14.0 but from now on I will be using Photoshop Creative Cloud 19.0 but

if you understand what I am doing in this version then I believe you can do it on your

version as well.

So you don't have to worry about the different versions.

You can just follow what I am doing here.

So let's get started.

Here we have this background and another layer with Orange color.

So we want to remove these areas from this background to see this layer behind.

To do that we can use a background eraser tool and we can erase these areas.

Now this is a destructive way of doing things.

So better option is doing things in a layer mask so that you get the flexibility to edit

or change something that you want to later on.

So

we will click here to create a layer mask.

So now you can see it is completely white and you see nothing here cause white means

reveal everything and when you want to hide something you have to paint with the Black

color.

So the Black means hide and the White means reveal or expose.

So we have selected Black as the foreground color and we can use the brush tool from here

and use a soft Brush, the hardness is 0, and very small amount of flow and now we can

paint with the Black color.

As you can see I am painting with the Black and it's hiding these areas.

So now you can see in this layer mask, you can see these areas are Black

that means these are hidden with the Black color and all these areas are White.

If you hold Alt and click here

then you can get a better view to see what's going on in this laye mask.

Again let's hold Alt and click here.

So as we are using the layer mask, all that we have done since now is in the mask.

If you press and hold Shift and click here and disable this layer mask then you can see

our main layer is completely intact.

So that's the reason of using a layer mask to keep our main layer unchanged

and making our changes into the mask.

So let's hold Shift and click here to enable it again

and when you are making your changes

with the layer mask if you see something goes wrong then you can quickly press X from your

keyboard that will swap these foreground and background colors and it will immediately

switch the foreground color as White and then you can again brush from the areas that you

want to reveal once again

like this.

So this was a very quick demonstration of this layer mask.

Let's see a better example of what you can do with this layer mask.

Let's bring a new layer

and place it here.

So this is the image that we want to blend within this background

and to do that we will apply layer mask.

So this is the layer and we will click here to add a layer mask

and now we will select the Gradient tool from here

and we will choose the Linear gradient

and the Gradient which is Foreground to Background

and the Foreground color will be Black and the Background will be White.

With this setup we will hold Shift, click and drag like this.

Now you can see how nicely it has faded these upper areas of this image and

if you hold Alt and click here you can see this Gradient.

So this is the way it hides that areas.

So we will hold Alt and click here again.

So we need to add another layer mask here on the Horizontal axis to hide these areas.

To do that we have to add another layer mask.

To add multiple layer masks we have to create a layer group.

This is the layer group and now we have to click hold and drag and drop it into that group.

So now this layer and this layer mask belongs to this group.

Now we have to create a layer mask for this group.

Now we will click here.

We have created our layer mask in this group

and now we will again hold Shift and drag like this,

let's do it again.

If you want to apply another layer mask then you have to again create a another Layer group

and drag and drop this layer group into this layer group to create a nested layer group

and then you can add another layer mask within that group and apply it.

Let's learn some other things about the layer mask from here.

Whenever you complete clipping path and make selection like this with the Pen tool or may be with

some different selection tools then make inverse selection and remove the backgrounds.

Instead of that you can just click here to make a layer mask that will immediately

hide or mask everything excepting your object.

So if you hold Alt and click here you can see, everything is painted with Black to hide

excepting your object which is White.

So you can also double click here to modify it. You can add Feather to your object.

You can also decrease the density.

This is basically the transparency of your masked areas.

So that's it.

WHAT I'M EATING (VEGAN) FOR WEIGHT LOSS // WIAW #91 | Mary's Test Kitchen - Duration: 5:33.

Hello friends and not yet friends,

Welcome back to What I Ate Wednesday.

In this episode, I share what I've been eating to lose weight.

This ain't no weight loss channel but I am carrying some extra, so for health reasons,

I'll be eating at a deficit while trying to keep my sanity because y'all know, I have

no willpower.

After the usual morning coffee, I'm having some brown rice and lentil congee that I heated

up.

This time, I'm adding some sliced up extra firm tofu.

Kind of bland but I don't really care this early on a week day.

I've got to have the protein to keep me full and...I didn't feel like making an effort.

Plus some homemade kimchi.

Cilantro for some vitamin C to help my body absorb the iron in the legumes more effectively.

Finally, some Korean BBQ sauce.

This was actually pretty tasty.

Usually I would add toasted sesame oil...but sacrifices for health, guys.

Sacrifices.

For lunch, I cut up some more tofu and coated it with some flour, nutritional yeast, curry

powder, and some other spices which I'll list in the description box.

I put it on parchment with a little oil to help with the breading's texture and popped

that in the oven at 400°F for a little over half an hour, flipping them halfway.

They came out looking pretty nice.

Not the most delicious tofu sticks ever, but not bad.

Could've used more flavour but the texture was good.

I ate half of these; my boyfriend ate the other half.

Had those with some gai lan also known as Chinese broccoli.

Water sauteed with garlic and ginger.

It's not as tasty as when I saute with oil but I can live with it.

A little dark soy sauce and it becomes a pretty tasty dish though.

I've got to get in the habit of buying more Chinese greens because I love them.

Just don't love having to wash them first.

Lazy problems.

For dinner, I had a seitan burger.

I used a little oil on the grill.

But looking back, I didn't really need to.

I've been experimenting with this seitan burger recipe.

I don't have it really ready for you yet, but soon.

And that was super juicy.

Better than the seitan burger from a couple weeks ago.

And I know what you're thinking, "No fries with that burger?

Not even a salad?"

The answer is no.

Whenever I even think about losing weight, I start randomly craving calorically dense

food.

Literally, I can be sitting there, probably just ate and not hungry, probably reading

some latest study on how weight influences health risks and think, "hmm, maybe I should

try....and then I'll crave chocolate cake."

So I planned ahead and saved a little space for that chocolate because if I *can't* have

what I want, well, I'm just going to have it anyway.

Hence, the Chocolate mug cake.

This recipe is from Chocolate Covered Katie and it's super perfect.

I like making single serving desserts so I can stop at one serving.

I always want more but if I sit a while and have a bit of hot water or tea, the feeling

passes and I end up feeling satisfied instead of regretful.

And that was my food day.

I've done this calorie counting thing before and while it is annoying as hey, it's been

effective for me and not too difficult.

As long as I plan ahead with enough protein and greens in the plan, I don't feel hungry

either.

But while we're on the subject, please don't follow what I eat as what you should eat.

Everybody's needs are different; physical, mental, cultural needs.

They are all important.

Especially if you're young and growing, it's super important to eat enough.

I wish I ate more as a teen; I'm convinced I could be a couple inches taller.

Anyways, thanks for watching friends.

Please give this video a thumbs up if you liked it and subscribe if you haven't already.

I'm posting more nutrient dense recipes for during the week and, of course, fun food on

the weekends.

Especially Chinese take out and stuff like that that you do not want to miss!

Bye for now!

Random Stuff That I Wanna Talk About - Duration: 5:25.

Have you ever found something that seems not important

but you wanna talk about it anyway

Well, this video is about it!

Sounds similar to 'My Random Thoughts' doesn't it?

Just like what Jaiden, James, and SomethingelseYT did

I can hear people screaming 'copycat' or 'not original'

You know what, everybody can have crazy random thoughts

Plus most of mine aren't really 'thoughts'

they're just stuff that I found online

A little heads up, there will be a lot of Googling

Here we go

It's February, and what's special about it?

Valentine's day! And what's great about it?

Well, for me it's the chocolate fiesta

I love chocolate!

Anything that has chocolate in it instantly becomes my favorite food

A while ago I googled random facts about cacao beans

or cocoa beans?

I don't know which one is used more often. I prefer cacao

Apparently cacao bean is considered to be rich in antioxidant and so many good chemicals for your body

You can read it yourself, the names are pretty difficult to pronounce

and my accent isn't making it any better

Eating chocolate releases several chemicals that have positive effect on human feelings

as in, they make people happy

Oh, so that's why chocolates are so great

Because they're always happy

But don't think you can just binge on this thing

because it can also kill ya

According to telegraph.co.uk, chocolate contains theobromine

and it can be poisonous if eaten too much

The lethal dose of chocolate for humans is 22 pound, or equivalent to 40 Dairy Milk bars

Well cheese, that's one cruel way to kill people

Now I'm imagining a bad cop interrogating a suspect who won't tell him anything

so the cop begins to feed him a bunch of Dairy Milk bars

After the 38th bar he'll be like 'only 2 more to go'

'tell me what I wanna know, or die a slow, sweet, chocolatey death'

it's your choice

That sounds like something that I would do

Also, white chocolate, despite its name, doesn't contain any cacao powder

It consists of cocoa butter, milk, sugar, and fat

I don't really like it, it's way too sweet for me

And has no cacao aroma whatsoever

Why are you called 'white chocolate'?

you should be called 'sweet fatty milk bar without happiness' instead

That's all I can say about you, now GET LOST

Wildlife is fascinating, don't you agree?

Animal documentaries are easily my favorite shows

But I feel like some documentaries are too heavily edited

and I don't feel the wild natural setting anymore

So for the past year I've been enjoying Safarilive

It's a live safari on Youtube, twice a day, brought by expert safari guides straight from South Africa

And I love it so much

I may or may not make a separate video talking about safari live

For now, all you need to know is that I'm subscribed to them, and I watch every stream

If you love Africa wildlife as much as I do, look up safari live and you might see me on the chats

One animal that I found interesting is warthog

If you don't know, warthogs are the wild species of the pig family

they're bacons living in the wild, to put it simply

Warthogs are hunted by pretty much every carnivore in African wilderness

But catching one of these can be pretty tough

Warthogs aren't pushovers

This animal can run, pretty fast

Unlike their pen dweller relatives

When I found out about this, I was like 'wow'

Who knows Pumba can turn into Sonic?

Feeling a bit jealous, little piggies in the farmland?

Well, that's just how life is

You will experience nothing if you just stay inside your safe zone

If you want to achieve great power

Go out there, face your fears, and be a proud ham

Still on topic about animals,

do you realize that humans are the only mammal that consume milk past baby stage?

Does that mean humans are literally giant babies?

Well, who cares? Milk is delicious

Jaiden isn't wrong, making this kind of video is pretty fun

Although I'm not that good at coming up with 'what if'

I'm good at googling, as it seems

The more I tried to think randomly, I can't think of anything at all, that's what happened

So I just did what I do best, and let it flow naturally

Like I said, this video is fun to work with

So I hope you guys like it as well

If you don't, well, I'm gonna eat 40 Dairy Milk bars then

Most Popular Books on My TBR - Duration: 6:17.

Bibliophiles of the internet, my name's Adriana, and today

I'm here to take you through my top 10 most popular unread books.

Now, this is more of a curiosity quest, if you will, than anything else, because I saw this video

done on Kathy's channel, which I will link down below,

and it got me thinking: "Well, what are the most popular unread books on *my* shelves?"

I think it's kind of interesting, because as BookTuber, you have a perception of "What are the books

"that everyone's reading? What are the books that everyone loves?"

But there might actually be a disconnect between that idea and which books are actually the most widely read.

So I took to Goodreads, naurally, and there's a million and one ways you can sort your shelves on that site.

So I chose "number of ratings" as one of my filters,

because I thought that would be a little bit more accurate than the average star ratings themselves.

Mostly because I'm not really interested in the most highly rated unread books I own.

I think that's a little bit misguiding. But rather, the most widely read books...

in the eyes of God...and Goodreads users, I guess.

That is the story of my life. That is the story of how we got here.

So let's just get into this!

Rounding out this list as the tenth most popular book on my TBR

is Meg Wolitzer's "The Interestings."

I bought this book secondhand right after I read "A Little Life" by Hanya Yanagihara,

which is a story that is still very much sitting with me to this day.

I get similar vibes from this one, because it's about this tight-knit group of artistic friends, and it follows them

from when they're teenagers, through adulthood, and pretty much throughout their entire lives.

And life-long examinations of friendship are my *aesthetic*.

And I believe as they grow older, some of them have to set aside their artistic aspirations

in favor of more stable income while others actually embark on very successful careers.

So I think it's going to be very *interesting* to see how that effects their dynamic.

Speaking of friendship, at #9 we have "My Brilliant Friend" by Elena Ferrante.

From what I know, this story is set in the 1950's in Naples, and again it follows these two very close friends

as they learn to rely on each other more than anyone else,

and I believe it's just a life-long portrait of their friendship.

My instincts tell me this is a really wonderful portrayal and exploration of a complex, platonic relationship,

which is *exactly* what I need in my life. But I don't know for sure.

So if you've actually read this, please feel free to either confirm or disavow in the comments.

On a very different note, at #8 we have "Assassin's Apprentice" by Robin Hobb.

This fantasy story is about a guy named Fitz,

who is apparently the despised bastard son of the crown prince.

All his life, he's been raised in the castle stables, and now they want to train him to become an assassin

so that he might actually be of use to the crown...which just checks off all my boxes.

At #7, we have "Kafka on the Shore" by Haruki Murakami.

I feel like I'm unconsciously saving this one for a round of Tome Topple.

It's a very surreal story about these two characters. One is Tamura Kafka, who was fifteen when he ran away

from home, and then there's an older gentleman named Nakata, who is apparently the tracker of lost cats.

The synopsis describes their personal journeys as "parallel odysseys" that somehow intertwine.

I'm sure it's very strange, very outlandish, and probably really great.

Next, we have "Stardust" by Neil Gaiman.

Low-key my greatest source of shame, because I hauled this one in my very first video I ever made

at the end of 2013. It is now 2018 and I still. haven't. read it.

[mouths] WHAT?

Classic whimsical, fairy tale-esque fantasy story about a young man who will do anything to win the heart

of his one true love, even if it means going to fetch a fallen star entire worlds away.

Right in the middle of the pack, we have "Sharp Objects" by Gillian Flynn.

This is actually Gillian Flynn's debut novel and the only thing of hers I haven't read yet.

And I will continue to not read it for as long as I can,

because I refuse to not be able to look forward to any new Gillian Flynn content.

If I read this now, I wouldn't be able to look forward to a new book from Gillian Flynn until, like, 2020...

...which is NOT okay.

Speaking of thrilling mysteries, at #4 we have "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie.

Fun fact: I've never read anything by Agatha Christie.

Which is strange, because she is [gestures] the Queen of Mystery, which is *very* helpfully pointed out on this book.

Again, classic murder-mystery story about these ten strangers who are lured to a mansion

on an isolated island, and they're informed that each of them holds a gruesome secret,

and by the end of that first night, someone is dead.

My third most popular unread book is "Me Talk Pretty One Day" by David Sedaris.

This is actually a collection of nonfiction essays about David Sedaris' experience moving from New York

to Paris, and he obviously had to take a lot of French classes.

And if you've ever learned a new language from the ground up,

you know it's a very humbling, awkward, belittling experience.

And I think, more generally, these essays also explore the pitfalls of communication,

and all the ways we try—and fail—to reach out to others.

The second most popular book on my TBR is Anthony Doerr's "All the Light We Cannot See."

I'm sure you've heard of this. It was a BookTube darling a few years ago.

Everyone had to read it. It was everyone's book club pick. It won the Pulitzer Prize in 2015...

...and I just missed it.

This is historical fiction centered around two characters. One is a young blind French girl

who memorizes miniature models of her neighborhood so that she never gets lost.

The other character is a young German orphan, who eventually becomes a soldier

once he is noticed by the Hitler Youth.

Their stories, of course, somehow intertwine.

It sounds *super* fun. Not at all sad. And everyone loves it.

And finally, the most popular unread book on my shelves is "The Princess Bride" by William Goldman.

Another book I bought in 2013 that I still. haven't. read.

#Winning!

Again, this is your classic, satirical, fairy tale-esque fantasy story-within-a-story about a young girl named Buttercup,

whose true love is killed. And then she's forced to marry this stupid prince, but then she's stolen

by a band of mercenaries, and then she's rescued by a pirate, and then she's reclaimed by the prince's men,

and then she hopes to be rescued by the very crew who tried to kidnap her in the first place...

...obviously.

I *love* the film. I've seen it countless times. I'm sure the book itself is just as good, if not even better.

And I just know that if I'm ever in the mood for a hysterical fantasy, I can for sure turn to this.

So those are ten of the most popular unread books on my shelves.

Did any of these titles surprise you? And, if you were me, which of these books would you read first?

But that is everything I had for this "curiosity quest" today. Thank you so much for watching this video.

I really hope that you enjoyed it, and I will catch YOU on the flip-side of the page.

Bye!

9 Really Easy Phone Sales Tips - Duration: 16:42.

Do you find yourself using the phone less in selling?

Regardless of your answer, many of your competitors

are saying yes to that question.

Fewer salespeople are actually

picking up the phone and truly calling prospects,

and this is your opportunity to stand out.

The phone is still one of the most powerful tools

that we salespeople have in our arsenal.

Whether you're cold calling, calling is part

of a prospecting campaign, following up on referrals

or calling established clients.

The approach really shouldn't change that much,

but what you do in those calls really, really matters.

In fact, the data suggests that over two-thirds

of salespeople are actually doing things

in the selling situation that actively hurts the sales.

Don't let this be you.

Plus, in a world where more than half of a salesperson's day

is spent not actually selling,

the phone becomes more and more distant for so many.

In this video, I'm going to show you nine really easy

phone sales tips to close way more sales.

Check it out.

Number one, don't wait to get motivated.

Just pick up the phone.

I remember when I first started selling and I would have to

make around 50 to 100 dials every single day.

I'll never forget the feeling in those first

couple of weeks, how heavy that phone actually felt,

and so I would come up with every single possible excuse

that I possibly could to not pick up that phone.

I would go get that extra cup of coffee

or I would check that email or I would have a conversation

with someone right nearby, I would do anything I could

to just avoid picking up that phone.

What I was really doing was waiting to get motivated,

and I think what most of us have discovered

is that when we wait to get motivated, it never comes.

What we need to do is just pick up the phone.

The most successful people, regardless of whatever

their profession is or whatever they're great at,

the most successful people don't wait

for that motivation, they just get going.

They don't have to be in the mood to do it, they just do it.

So just pick up the phone.

Number two, set a daily dial goal.

I cannot tell you how many salespeople I know

who will block out, let's say, an hour of time

to make calls, but within that hour,

they really have no specific goal

of how many calls that they actually wanna make.

And when I say calls, I mean literally dials, right?

How many phone numbers do you dial?

And again, the reason that we even track dials

in the first place as salespeople is because that's really

the only thing that we can actually control, right?

We can control, of course, how much time we allot

to making calls, but the problem is

is when we only focus on how much time we allot,

we could end up making five calls in an hour

because we're dilly-dallying, taking our time,

just going really slowly, but when we track

the number of dials that we're making,

that's something that we can truly control.

What I find is, of course, it depends on what you're selling

and whom you're selling to, but most salespeople

are capable of making anywhere between

15 and about 30 dials an hour.

And that, of course, assumes that most people don't pick up.

Maybe a couple people actually do pick up.

But throughout that time, what we're doing

is we're really committing to the number of dials

as opposed to the amount of time.

So in my schedule, if I'm to say to block out an hour,

what I'd really do is instead, I would say

my daily goal is going to be let's say 20 dials today.

Other people, it may be 100 dials,

but focus on the number of dials and not the amount of time,

because ultimately, the number of dials you make

is going to connect directly to the number

of appointments you set, the number of sales you make,

and thus, what you actually make at the end of the year.

Number three, make it a game.

You know, so often, salespeople think of

the rejection that exists in our space,

and as a result, they get really discouraged.

But the reality is is that when we pick up the phone

and we call someone and they're not excited to hear from us,

in fact, they are annoyed by us, and they curse at us

or they say something really mean

or they just hang up the phone,

or they politely get off but we know

that they're just trying to get rid of us,

most people unfortunately are taking that rejection

very seriously, but it's not serious.

They don't know you. They don't know who you are.

They don't know your family.

They don't know anything about you. Sales is a game.

Imagine if every time a little kid plays soccer,

you know, community league soccer, and every time they lose,

they're crying and they're pouting.

The reason that that's happened, of course, is because

they're taking it more seriously than it should be,

and that exact same thing happens to us as salespeople.

We can't take this stuff that seriously.

I remember when I was first learning to make dials

and I was having good mentorship

and what I would do is if someone was getting rude

or snippy with me on the phone, I'd get playful.

I would really make it a game.

And that doesn't necessarily mean

that it would necessarily turn that specific call

or interaction into something more positive,

maybe it did, maybe it didn't, but what it did

is it made it so that way, every rejection

just rolled right off my back.

It doesn't matter. Make it a game.

Number four, call really early and really late.

This is such a simple, simple tip,

but it is so incredibly effective.

Let me ask you a question.

When do you think the majority of salespeople

are making their dials during the course of a day?

If you said something like between 10 and 11:30

and/or 1 and 3:00, then you're right.

The majority of calls from salespeople

are made in those times.

It's often, in a lot of organizations, that is call time.

That 10:00 or so to 11:30, or in the early afternoon.

The problem is is that this is when most salespeople

are making calls, and as a result,

not only are prospects receiving more sales calls

during that time, but it also just happens to be

the time when they're really, really busy.

And so what I challenge you to think about is,

when can you be making calls when prospects are both

not being bombarded by other salespeople

and when they're not really busy?

And the reality is is that if you're calling

really early in the morning or really late

in the afternoon or even evening, your prospects,

who are typically higher-level folks who are

true decision makers, they're gonna be in the office.

A typical CEO gets in the office

at around 6:30 in the morning.

They don't typically leave til 8:00 at night.

And yet when is the gatekeeper there?

The gatekeeper is there from 8:30 to 5:30.

So call outside of those hours

and you're going to get through the gatekeeper,

you're going to be associated with a lot less clutter,

and of course, you're more likely to catch them

when they're not bombarded by people

walking into their office and overwhelmed.

Call early and call late.

Number five, avoid the sales voice.

Now, this is so pervasive in our industry,

where you ask a salesperson, "Do you use

"an overly enthusiastic voice when you make calls?"

And they typically say, "No, no, no, I sound normal."

And then I listen to them make a call

and they sound something like this.

"Hey, George, Marc Wayshak calling, how are you today?"

If you were the prospect receiving that call,

what do you immediately assume

about the person making that call?

That they're a salesperson.

What I have discovered is that salespeople,

when we go into making calls,

they're very typically going to increase

the cadence or the pace of their speech,

so they're gonna speak more quickly,

and they're going to go up a couple of octaves.

And what we want to do is avoid that completely

because we don't want people, when they pick up the phone,

to assume that we're a salesperson.

We want them to think, you know,

this just sounds like a normal, genuine person.

Avoid that sales voice.

Lower the tempo, lower the pace.

And by the way, one of the best things that we can do

to really make sure that we're not using the sales voice

is to just record your own voice during calls.

This is really simple, so you don't have to record

the whole call, so there's no disclosure issues

because what you're gonna do is you're just gonna use

your iPhone or your Android, and I just want you to use

the audio recorder to record

just the sound of your voice

so you don't actually have to hear what's going on

in the call, you're just hearing your own voice.

I guarantee you're going to find is that you are using

a pace and a cadence that is not entirely natural.

Instead, what I want you to sound more like

is just low-key and genuine.

"Hey, George, Marc Wayshak calling.

"Did I catch you in the middle of something there?"

That's the kind of pace and volume

that I want to hear from you.

Avoid the sales voice.

Number six, pattern interrupt.

This is one of, I would argue, the most powerful concepts

in selling, and it's something that people just don't

spend enough time to think about.

And so my question to you is, what do the first six or so

seconds of your typical sales interaction sound like?

Let's say it's a phone call,

cause that's what we're talking about right now.

What do the first six or seven seconds

of your phone calls typically sound like?

Most salespeople can't exactly answer that, right?

We typically go more off the cuff and the opening

and then we may structure out what happens later on,

but we're not really thinking about,

how are we starting that call?

The data suggests that prospects are deciding

whether they want to continue a call with us

in the first seven seconds, and so we need

to fully map out what that sounds like,

and that's where this idea of pattern interrupt

comes in because what we wanna do

(snaps) is break the pattern.

We want them, when they're picking up the phone,

to suddenly wake up to something different.

If you're starting your call with a typical,

"Hey, George, Marc Wayshak calling, how are you today?"

You're typically going to turn that person off

and they're gonna go right into their typical pattern,

which is to treat you like a salesperson

and try to get you off the phone.

So, in fact, the role play that I just did

a minute or two ago in the previous point is really

pattern interrupt because it's breaking what they expect.

So what I challenge you to think about is,

how can you script your first seven seconds

in a way that they're not expecting?

My approach would be something like this.

"Hey, George, Marc Wayshak calling.

"Did I get you in the middle of something there?"

Now, time out for a second.

I'm not gonna completely analyze that

because we don't have the time in this video,

but what you'll notice is that it was

a different approach from what they would've expected.

I'm breaking the pattern.

They expected me to be smooth and polished,

I was actually slow and almost a little bit hesitant, right?

And so they're thinking to themselves, "Is this a salesguy?

"Is it just someone else? I don't know."

Pattern interrupt.

Number seven, have a contingency.

Contingencies are one of my favorite

and most fun things in sales, and what I find

is that it's actually pretty ninja.

Most salespeople, when I teach them contingencies,

they get really uncomfortable, and so let me explain

what a contingency is and then I'll give you some ideas.

A contingency is when you call up a prospect

and they're really busy and they're actually trying

to get you off the phone in the first

couple of seconds of that call.

What is your contingency?

It's almost what you do, it's what your plan B

when plan A doesn't work.

So you call someone and you say,

"Hey, George, Marc Wayshak calling.

"Did I catch you in the middle of something there?"

And the prospect returns with,

"Actually, yeah, you did. I don't have time right now.

"Can you call me back in a week?"

Now, what do you do at that point?

Contingencies are that plan B and these take some guts.

They really take the ability to be bold and step out there.

Typical salesperson is just gonna say,

"Oh, of course, yeah, thank you so much," right?

Get off the phone.

But the ninjas, the sales ninjas

are gonna have that contingency in place.

My contingency in that particular situation might be

something like, "You know what, George,

"I really appreciate you saying that.

"Would it be okay if I just took 30 seconds,

"told you why I was calling, and then we can decide

"if it makes sense to hang up?

"Does that sound okay?"

Boom. Contingency.

Now, is that gonna work all the time? No.

But I have a couple of contingencies in a row

that I would put together in a call

to make sure that I'm ultimately at least

getting the first 30 seconds of the call.

And those work most of the time.

Not always, but most of the time.

Have a contingency.

Number eight, get them talking.

Now, we don't have time in this video

to lay out the entire script of a call.

In fact, there are other videos that I've put together

laying out really what that script should look like,

but getting them talking is so important to a sales call

because I want you to imagine what the typical prospect

is experiencing during the receiving end of a sales call.

They answer the phone and the salesperson on the other end

is saying, "Hey, how are you doing?

"I want to tell you about my company, ABC,

"and we've got this incredible product."

What do you think that prospect is doing

while they're on the phone?

Let's say they have their phone to their shoulder

and they're on the phone.

They're going back because they've just determined

that this is a sales call, they're going back

into typing that email or reading that report

that they were just looking at a second ago.

And so they're letting the salesperson talk

because of just being polite, but they're not engaged

with what the salesperson is saying.

So a truly effective salesperson is going to have something

in their sales call that's going to engage the prospect

in a conversation to get them talking,

because once me as the buyer or as the prospect

is actually talking and engaged in the conversation,

now, it's really difficult for me

to continue reading that report or writing that email.

You need to engage them in the conversation,

suck them in so you get them talking.

So you want to have questions in your calls

that sound something like,

"Does that make any sense based on what I'm saying?"

Or, "Does that ring true to you?"

Right? We're sucking them into the conversation.

Get them talking.

Number nine, always closing for the next step.

Always closing for the next step.

Now, research from one of my favorite organizations,

Gong.io, who uses artificial intelligence

to analyze sales conversations

and compares to the conversations

that really work versus those that don't,

and what they found is that effective sales conversations,

the salespeople are spending significantly

more time discussing next steps.

Now, I think we always knew this instinctually,

but it's the first time that we actually

from a specific data perspective,

that next steps are so important.

And what next steps means is that we never are

in the business of saying, "Oh, you know,

"how about I call you back in a week?"

Instead, it's, "George, do you have your calendar out?

"Let's schedule a next step to make sure

"that we avoid that back and forth

"and that we get each other on the next call

"where we can review what we discussed today."

Always close in for that next step.

So in an initial prospecting call,

what you're closing for is typically

that next scheduled meeting, right?

Whether it's face to face or WebEx or by phone,

whatever it is, what we want to do

is always be closing for the next step

so there's never a point in the sales process

where we have that wishy washy,

I'm not really sure what's coming up next.

Always close in for that next step.

So there are nine really easy phone sales tips.

I want to hear from you.

May I introduce myself: Katja Langen - Media designer. | KRONE TV - Duration: 3:07.

My name is Katja Langen

I am 46 years old

and since 2012, I have been working at Fahrzeugwerk KRONE in Werlte

as a media designer and graphic artist.

Together with my partner

in a small village

very rural

near Werlte.

Before I start my way to work in the morning

I go for a walk with our dog Luna

to catch some fresh air and energy to prepare for a usually very exciting workday.

By the end of the 80s

and the beginning of the 90s

I made an apprenticeship as a print setter.

Today, this is the profession of the media designer

which I learned to love.

Following this, I worked in various marketing agencies

and in the marketing department

of a big liquor manufacturer in the region of Emsland.

In this way, I could gather experience

with marketing and media design.

I have always found it very exciting to work

in the marketing department of popular companies

as an in-house agency

and to present the company optimally

in writing and picture.

This is why I decided to join KRONE.

In the marketing department

I am responsible for the layout and the implementation

of almost any print media

for example product brochures

leaflets, business reports, calendars, retouching

and the design of exhibits and partition walls for fairs

like the IAA Commercial Vehicles.

By the way, in September of this year

the IAA takes place again.

Another important topic

is the support of our subsidiaries and partner companies

concerning our corporate design.

It is important

that all of us watch out

for a uniform presentation

of the company.

For example

the use of a uniform logo

the use of correct colours

and for example

a uniform layout in presentations is important.

My workday is very varied.

There is no day like another.

In many cases, I must be finished very fast

for example leaflets or ads

which need to be designed

from one day to the next.

And it is very challenging

to find ideas for the design instantly.

Often, we create ideas

in the team

by brainstorming.

I implement these ideas graphically

and put it on paper.

After the approval of other departments

like the sales department

or the product management

I set up the print data

and settle things

like imprinting or paintwork with the printery.

When I come home in the evening

Luna is already waiting for me

to go for a long and extensive walk.

I also like to spend my free time

with our horses Lucy and Hanka.

Especially at the weekend

I have time

for longer rides

in the woods.

Apart from that, I like to travel with my horse Lucy

to places like the Lüneburger Heide or Cuxhaven.

It is always a great experience

to gallop through the mud flats

or to make a ride to the island Neuwerk.

If I had to describe myself in three words

I would say:

I am reliable, helpful and flexible.

Πως Να Ντυθείς για να Κάνεις μια Φοβερή Έξοδο στο Μπαρ! - Duration: 6:01.

Hi!

I decided to make a video that will provide a few tips

about how to dress up better

or even to do a tremendous impression when you go out to a bar.

It's a place you where you want to go out to communicate and enjoy your night out.

So being very well dressed definitely is an important part.

I am Themis from the Men Of Style

and today I will tell you how to dress in order to have a tremendous night out at the bar.

The first thing to start talking about in today's video will be the trousers.

I understand that a dark jean is a very good and easy choice

but if you want to further than that

you may choose the cloth based trousers "Chinos"

which can be found in many different colors.

First of all, they are cloth trousers which are in jeans line, so they are very comfortable

and very versatile for walking, according to your own style

and you can find them in many different colors to combine with

Either for a romantic night or for a night full of action.

The next thing I want to tell you to combine with your trousers

It is what you will wear on the top of your body.

I am one of the people who really really loves the T-Shirts.

But for to make the difference for a night out at the bar, what you can wear is

a loose style shirt, you can wear it untucked.

Watch out if you can wear that shirt in a way I told you

the shirt itself will show you that.

If the shirt is too long, it cannot be worn untucked, if it is a shirt 26 00:01:40,054 --> 00:01:43,097 which is near the height of your belt then you can wear it like that.

At the same time to enhance the loose style of your shirt

you can leave unbuttoned the 2 buttons from the top.

What color will the shirt be?

Very good and easy choice, are the solid color shirts

but the more solid the shirt is

the more it tends to become more "formal".

So you can keep a kind of more playful style with small prints

for example: small squares or polka dots.

These patterns that I told you, in my opinion are the best

so you can play a bit with your style and your outfit.

Better not to use patterns

which are much bigger or very strange and much more childish.

The next thing I want to tell you, are the shoes.

The shoes are a really important part of your appearance

especially when talking about an attractive dressing and how the women see it.

Most women, when I asked them question:

What is the first thing you are looking at on a man? They answer me - the shoes.

So take care of your shoes for the nights out at the bar

to be groomed much butter.

Better to avoid colorful shoes

or way too sporty and rather go for more classic choices.

You may wear leather boots now, since it is winter

or you can wear leather tennis sneakers

which are quite low, under the ankle, to do a tremendous appearance at the bar.

The best colors I can suggest you to choose from

they are also the ones I wear are black, brown, burgundy and green

And the textures I like most are Suede

but when it's raining, you understand that Suede cannot work so well

because it is getting wet and becomes messy and looks too dirty

So during the rainy days I rather use the darkest, Matte leather textures.

Reaching near the end of an outfit for a night out at a bar

you should surely not forget the jacket.

The jacket I suggest you to choose is either a Blazer or a leather jacket.

I'm also one of the people who did not wear Blazer

or when wearing a "suit-type" of jacket

they considered it too formal, but that is not correct.

Blazer is a really amazing jacket that you can have

to appear in a semi-formal outfit.

If you cannot or do not want to wear

because it is not your style to wear a Blazer

then you can chose the classic and always nice choice of leather jacket.

I could tell you way too many things about leather jackets

because it's one of my favorite categories about what you can wear as jackets during the winter.

That's why I'm going to make a separate video

so subscribe in order to not miss any videos and the one about leather jackets.

The colors that I would suggest you to choose for Blazers or leather jackets

for a night out at a bar are the darkest shades

I like them because they fit better the place or the time you go out.

And to finish an outfit, I couldn't skip the accessories.

So, take care and give value to the accessories.

Subconsciously, when men hear about accessories

they think that they are women's priority.

But men should also be care about

how to wear the accessories and how to combine them.

The accessories that I suggest you to use are the classic, manly and masculine accessories

such as a bracelet, belt and our favorite watch.

How to combine them?

For example, you can wear your shirt tucked

In order to show your belt

and at the same time match the metallic element of the belt

with the metallic element of the watch.

The next way is to combine the textures and the colors of the accessories.

For example, a brown leather belt matches a brown leather bracelet.

In today's video you saw what to wear in order to do a tremendous appearance during the night out at a bar.

You do not have to wear strange and extreme things to make a tremendous appearance.

Just dress well, take your personality out

and the people that will communicate with you, will understand it.

I am Themis from the Men Of Style

and subscribe to our channel to see more videos.

Take care!

7 MANEIRAS DE USAR A PALAVRA "OVER" EM INGLÊS - Duration: 8:31.

Hey, what up, YouTube and Facebook?

It's Mairo Vergara here, and today we're going to learn

seven different ways of using the word "over."

If you go to the dictionary,

if you try to learn all the possible usages of the word,

the different meanings,

it's not going to happen.

And it's not going to happen because, to be honest,

there are like, hundreds, probably thousands

of different ways of using the word.

So, it's not something that you're going to sit down,

study it, learn it, and you are done.

Done! I know the word "over." No!

It's more along the lines of something--

as you learn English, as you build up your vocabulary,

you will, you know, now and then,

come across different ways of using the word,

and as you come across those different ways of

using the word, you're going to gradually learn

all the different combinations and possibilities

with the word "over."

So, that means that I cannot teach you

in just one video, all the ways, all the different possibilities

and ways of using the word.

But I can give you a nice introduction,

so that's what I'm going to try to do in this video

with the seven different ways.

Because the seven different--

the seven different ways will, you know,

will make you a little bit more familiar with the word.

So, without further ado,

let's get into the video.

Ah! Just one more-- "ah!"

"Ah" is Portuguese, right?

Ok, just one more quick note before we

get into the seven different ways of using the word.

If you are watching this video

and you are not subscribed to the channel,

just-- come on,

just-- just-- just subscribe to the channel.

Because if you're watching my video in English,

you are learning English,

I'm providing you with subtitles in English,

in Portuguese, you can even download the transcript

of the video, plus the mp3,

so you can practice your English a little bit more.

So, come on, man!

If you're just watching, you're not subscribed,

just-- just-- just click the subscribe button.

You click the subscribe button and also the

notifications button. You know, the little bell?

Just click it. Just click it.

Click it.

Did you-- did you click it?

I'm just waiting.

Waiting for the subscription.

Did you?

Thank you!

Thank you, thank you.

Okay, now, to the seven different ways of

using the word "over," number one.

The first way to use the word "over"

is when you want to express the idea of, you know,

moving from one place to a different place.

For example, if you say,

"Come over here, I need to talk to you."

You know, "Come over here"--

put the sentence here.

"Come over here, I need to talk to you."

So, come over here.

Can you say, "Come here, I need to talk to you"?

Yes, you can say just "come here."

But when you say, "Comer over here,"

you are kind of expressing this idea of,

you know, movement from one place--

because you're not here, you're there.

So, you come over here.

Like, moving from there to here.

That's why you say "over."

"Come over here, I need to talk to you."

Or, let's say, you're going to fly to London.

You know, you're going to go by plane to London,

and you can say, "I'm flying over to London next week."

Just an example.

Can you say, "I'm flying to London next week"?

Yes, you can say it.

But if you say, "I'm flying over,"

it's just a different way of expressing the exact

same idea.

So, you say, "I'm flying over,"

you know, movement from one place to another.

"I'm flying over to London next week."

Number two.

You can use "over" when you invite people to your home.

This is a pretty nice way of using the word,

that I really like,

and you should start using it.

And it's when you say something along the lines of,

"I'm going to invite some friends over to dinner."

I'm going to invite some friends over to dinner.

The Brazilians usually will say,

"I'm going to invite some friends for dinner,"

because that's the Brazilian way of saying it.

You know when you're having a conversation in English

and you want to kind of impress your friends?

What you do is, instead of saying,

"I'm going to invite some friends for dinner,"

you just say, "I'm going to invite some friends over

for dinner."

And that sounds so much better.

Number three, you can use "over"

when... it's even hard to explain.

So, I'm just going to give you the example

and then I give you the explanation.

When you say something along the lines of--

I really use this "along the lines of."

Every video, I say "along the lines of,"

"along the lines." It's a very nice expression, by the way,

you can start using it.

So, the thing is,

when you say something such as,

"He looked over the fence."

He looked over. So, the meaning is above.

Not through the fence, not under the fence,

over the fence.

Another good example would be,

"The sun is coming up over the mountain." Ok?

The sun is coming up over, above, ok?

Over the mountain.

It's not through the mountain,

it's not under the "mounthain"-- mounthain?

Not mounthain, mountain. Ok?

Mountain. Over the mountain, over the fence,

over whatever.

Number four, over with the meaning of more than.

So, you say, for example,

"I've been waiting for over an hour."

I've been waiting for over an hour.

The meaning is, "I've been waiting for

more than one hour."

But instead of saying "more than one hour,"

you just say, "Over an hour."

I've been waiting for over an hour.

One more example, you can say,

"They had over 300 people at their wedding."

They had over 300 people at their wedding.

Meaning, more than 300 people.

Number five, you can use "over" to express

the idea like something is not used,

not needed, like, something is remaining.

For example, you could say,

"If there's any food left over,

put it in the fridge."

If there's any food left over,

any food remaining, not used, not eaten,

just put it in the fridge. Ok?

If there's any food left over,

just put it in the fridge.

Number six, you can use the word "over"

to express the idea of a period of time.

For example, let's say you invited some friends over.

See? You invited some friends over

and it's late at night, and maybe you want to--

you know, you want to invite them to, you know,

stay-- I don't want to use the word "over" again.

Ok, but this is the example. You got the idea.

You could say, "Feel free to stay over

if you don't wanna drive at night."

Or "If you don't wanna drive tonight."

So, feel free to stay over.

When you say, "Stay over,"

the "over" is expressing the idea of

staying for a period of time, which in this

specific sentence means to spend the night.

You know? To stay overnight.

So, again, "Feel free to stay over

if you don't wanna drive tonight."

Another very good example,

expressing the idea of, you know, a period of time

with the word "over"

is when you say, "sleep over."

So, maybe when you were young

and you wanted to go visit your friend John

and you wanted to stay there--

you know, spend the night over there-- over there.

you would say to your mom,

"Mom, can I sleep over at John's house?"

"Mom, can I sleep over at John's house?"

So, "sleep over" means to spend the night

at John's house.

Again, "Mom, can I sleep over at John's house?"

And number seven, this is also a pretty

nice way of using the word "over."

It's like, "over" with the meaning of "again."

So, if you want to express the idea of

doing something again, you can use the word "over."

For example, you say,

"Let's start over from the beginning."

"Let's start over from the beginning."

So, start over it's like,

you go back to the beginning and you do it all over again.

Do it all over again.

It's the idea of repetition and doing something again.

So, let's start over from the beginning.

Another example would be,

"It's all wrong. It's all wrong, you'll have to do it over."

So, it's all wrong, so you haven't done it, you know,

the proper way, so you'll have to do it over.

You'll have to do it again.

To do it over, do it over.

So, there you have it, guys!

Seven different ways of using the word "over,"

and remember, this is just a way to, you know,

for you to get a little bit more familiar with the word.

So, just keep studying English,

just keep exposing yourself to the language,

and I'll see you on the next video.

Bye!

Agradecementos pelos parabéns (Thanks for the congratulation) - Duration: 3:50.

Hello People. Are you ok?

I just want

thank you for your congratulations

last month. I know that is little bit late, but...

I could do it just now

Forgive me! that I´m late

I want to thank for your congratulations

...And also to explain it, because some people asked my mom

And...

Some of them told that I had written my birthday false...

to make fun.

I wanna say that I didn´t make fun

I wanna explain why.

I was born in 30th April

1987

But, I consider my birthday

the day when I´ve born again 20th January 2015

Because of that I celebrate on this date now

I have no problem to celebrate on the other date,

but it´s more important to me to celebrate this date. the 20th January

Cause, this is the day when I was born again.

And I wanna to explain to you what is that

I realised that..

actually, Before 20th January 2015

I was not alive. I was dead.

The bible says that all man has sinned

Every man has sinned against God, and because of that he deserves by nature the death.

God...

knows about that and I was dead for God

Before this day

However the bible also says that God show us your love,

duo the fact that Jesus Christ has died to pay our sins (for us) while we were yet sinners

Than I understood it.

I understood it, that...

That I had made fouls against God

And becouse God is holy

I deserved the dead cause...

There´s no...

darkness und light cannot mix themselves

When the light arrives the darkness runs away

The bible says that when we believe in Jesus Christ,

And it means not only know about him or believe that he exists

but It means also, you make a decision

to die for you old lifestyle and to live the new life

To believe means to understand that it´s true and start to live it

It has happend in my life

And my answer to God was when was baptized on this day....

20th JAnuary 2015

I´ve decided to die to my old lifestyle and left my thing

I´ve decided to allow God to clean me

It hurts a little bit.

Sometimes I feel it yet.

and i know that I´ll feel until Christ comes back

...Or until I sleep to wait for Christ

But it´s a pain that build us up

The bible says that God clean us up, so that we may give more fruits

and the bilbe also says that the father...

corrects the son whom he loves

So...If God wouldn´t corret me, he would not love

It is why I wanted to explain it

This´s the day that I celebrete, because this´s the day when I became alive for God

It means...

This is the day when...

I´ve got a relationship with him

Likewise that

some people are dead for you

not because they died, but because they have no relationship to you

and they don´t matter to you

The 20th January 2015, was the day When a gave my answer to God

The day when I´ve decided to assume befere men

That I´m a Christian

That I bealieve that Jesus Christ died for me. To pay my sinns

That he rose up on the third day

And that he is at the right side of God, the Father.

That he sent the Holy Spirit to me

and know... I, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

We are one.

Amem!

May the Lord bless you all

I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ

That you may understand the truth.

for you may live and come not to die

Amem! Be blessed
