Elite: Dangerous the Scanner 1st Impressions Beyond chapter 4 - Duration: 10:22.
Hello its Ricardo and welcome back to elite dangerous Beyond chapter four lots
of new updates have turned up and in particular is this scanner the new way
of scanning celestial bodies and surfaces of planets indeed yes all looks
a bit complicated doesn't it before we get into that I just got to say what the
graphics the graphic updates on this absolutely amazing you know they really
have lightened up space to be honest so scanning you've got two modes now you've
got a combat mode and you've got a scanning mode alright but you're going
to need to configure and we'll get into that a little bit later you can't do
scanning in combat mode and you can't do shooting in scanning mode so be mindful
of that anyway scanning planets and scanning stars you
can still rock up to the main star in the body and press T to target it and
scan it okay once you've got the scanning mode you can still use a
discovery scanner to do a sort of initial hunk and get your celestial
plane that's fine everything's fantastic with that then it starts to get a little
bit what seems to be complicated but really once you do it it isn't when I
first opted I thought oh I'm not going to get on with this and here is the
spectrum scanner now in all its glory no you say you are gonna have to configure
it and bind it to certain key mappings but the idea is you move the cursor over
a celestial body of which there aren't and really that I haven't found in this
area and then using the spectrograph at the
bottom you could say you tuned in to the resonance frequency of the planet
and then you zoom in and then you scan it so they're just rocking in and going
honk there's all the planets and instead of sort of rocking up to each individual
planet just to get a planet scan you can do it this way
um so like I say perhaps not the best system we're gonna jump to another one
and see how that goes and what we're gonna do then is we're gonna get some
scanning on so we are we're just dropping out here's the main star so
we're gonna scan this straightaway thank you very much and then we're going to
find all these unexplored worlds now here comes the tricky bird so I say the
tricky part the new part it's just new as you can see it's all unexplored you
look at the system map some commanders have already been there already if you
are new to the system you'll get your name put on it
look at the 3d map of the system in the system a plaid I had quite a bit of work
done to it you can see what sort of planets are on what plane
now into the scanner so you've got these arrows these are pointing to where
different bodies and you can see these glowing these glowing blue dots or blurs
now we fixated on one there's a red circle around which means we can zoom
into it we can use the slider now you'll see from this are taking a snapshot it
moves quite quickly the inner circle is yellow right which means I'm right on
the many on that spectral analysis bar I've slid it all the way over to the
left-hand side this is going to be a signal source right which means I can
now zoom in and analyze it so you've got to get that internal circle as yellow it
seems complicated but it isn't really you see degraded emissions detected all
right so if you go and think about and look for some more planets and other
things like that then as long as you get that inner circle is yellow you can scan
it from this distance so we'll move on to this one what's that that's gonna be
another signal source because the inner circle is yellow and the spectrum bar
you see is over to the left-hand side again another degree in emissions
detected job moving on let's get to a planet
okay so here's some glowing blue dots we've zoomed in into the middle you can
see where that is distortions are in that bar and we found a planet again
ensuring that inner circle is yellow jointly it took me a little while to get
my head around this about 5 10 minutes I thought it's actually quite good it's
not as hard and fast as what youth it was the last time Rocking
honk yeah fantastic we're on we've got everything but yeah travel to every stir
in the system to scan it like this now without service coming in a little while
but I just want to emphasize this then I think this is actually good bonus in the
game it's a great addition some people might say oh I don't like it
I don't like it I like honking and then rocking out I like I don't like that
this is gonna save your time unless you want to go over there in surface-mount
something right again you're gonna fly over this is gonna save time and gives
you a bit extra depth in gameplay I think anyway so they are scanning
planets scanning signal sources and we discuss at the signal sources as well
have gotten to them but they are persistent meaning that if you leave the
system you can come back in okay so let's have a think about what we're
gonna do with surface scanning no surface scanning you're gonna need a
surface scanner for this nothing's really changed there so what you do is
is your rock up to this planet alright as you get close to it it'll scan and
tell you exactly what it is if you haven't scanned it already you're gonna
go into scanner mode right obviously not combat mode because we're doing scans or
scanning and what you're gonna do is once you get in range right you're gonna
be able to fire probes off at this planetary body to map the surface no
more Marquand eyeballs looking for stuff okay so there is our planet we're in
range as we can see we're in range we've engaged the surface scanner and then
we're gonna fire probes off as you can see I'm firing probes now you have
unlimited probes you're gonna fire them off and when they hit the surface it's
gonna pulse a bit like
the scanner pulse that moves us can make a ships as you can see and that is gonna
map a percentage of what you can see at the surface of the planet simple as that
so no more flying really low over planets looking for things the idea is
apparently you fire these probes off they hit the surface of the planet that
then returns all the telemetry and then you get to view the surface of this
planet from from the system map and get all that information just like that it's
a really cool effect I think some of the explorers might say all I liked flying
over planets and looking for things that added to the mystery but now technology
has kind of got in the way of that and you're able to fire all these probes off
and it's lovely sort of effect it's not that planet surface pretty cool I
thought so there you go this is a brief overview I'm not saying I'm right in
everything I've said and to be fair I probably haven't made an L of a lot of
sense as I understand it that's where we are with scanning so what you have to do
to remember is you can't do scanning in combat mode can you scan in scan mode if
you want to scan the surfaces of planets then be sure to have a detailed surface
scanner get into range fire off your probes if you want to do the normal
scanning scan the stur do a hunk in scanning mode that will give you your
celestial plane of where all the planets are gonna be and then focus with the
spectral graph analyzer as we've seen in this video and then you'll be able to
tune in to planets or signal sources
and do you discoveries that way so I've been Ricardo this has been a leak
dangerous chapter four beyond and my first look at the scanner I daresay as
we continue to play it every win skills with the scanner right will become more

Recipe of Crispy Rings Snacks in Hindi by Indian Food Made Easy - Duration: 4:55.
Today's crispy rings recipe is a perfect snack to serve with chai
These crispy rings are very easy to make and its ingredients are very easily available
These are all the ingredients required to make crispy rings
To begin making crispy rings add 200 grams of curd in a mixing bowl and churn it a little
Add about the same amount of water to it, whisk to make buttermilk.
Now add one spoon of oil in a hot pan
Add about quarter spoon of cumin seeds when oil heats up
Quarter spoon of mustard seeds
Roast for about half minute until they appear a little red in colour
Add about 10 to 12 chopped curry leaves to it
Now add the buttermilk we made earlier
We will cook buttermilk just until its warm enough and not too hot
When buttermilk is warm enough then add 3/4th cup of rice flour and mix well
Rice flour is what makes these snacks crispy and tasty
Add half spoon or as per taste salt
Add about quarter spoon of chilli flakes and mix well
Turn off the flame, cover and put away for 5 to 7 minutes so that rice flour could soak up all the water from it
After keeping for 5 to 7 minutes, this mixture has became a bit solid now, and it has absorbed all the water
We will put this away for it to cool off for now
When this mixture cools off, we will knead and softens it a bit, so that crispy rings could be crack free
Apply some oil on your hands
Now take some mixture and roll with your hands
Roll on a flat surface in a long thick thread shape
Cut and divide from middle
Join both the ends together to make them in shape of rings
Now these rings are ready to fry
We will make rings of the whole mixture same way
To fry these rings add some cooking oil in a hot pan
When oil heats up add and fry them
We will fry them on high flame, as they might break and fall apart if fried at sim gas
Flip and fry equally from all sides
You will notice its colour changing to golden now
After frying for about 4 to 5 minutes, when they get golden brown in colour, they are ready to serve
We will take them out on a absorbing paper so that all the extra oil could be absorbed
We will fry all the remaining rings same way at high flame
Serve these tasty crispy rings with hot chai
These are absolutely yummy and perfectly crispy, so you must try this recipe

The Cleveland Browns No.
1 overall pick Baker Mayfield is set to take on another former first-round pick, Patrick Mahomes this weekend.
Although they are in different draft classes, both Mahomes and Mayfield know what it's like to have massive praise during their first years starting at quarterback in the NFL.
Ironically enough, they both attended the same school at one point.
Baker Mayfield, before attending Oklahoma was the quarterback at Texas Tech.
After one season, he transferred to play for the Sooners, and Patrick Mahomes took over as Texas Tech's young star quarterback.
Mahomes might not have been the No.
1 overall pick like Mayfield, but at this rate maybe he should've been.
During his first year as a starter with the Chiefs, Mahomes is putting up MVP numbers.
And honestly, if the season ended today, Mahomes would unanimously win MVP for the way that he played in 2018.
As fans, we all see it.
But how does Mayfield see it? Well, he praised Mahomes recently as the two quarterbacks are set to go head-to-head for the first time in their young careers this weekend.
So naturally, everybody was curious to ask Mayfield how he felt about Mahomes.
Mayfield Praises Mahomes.
This wasn't a knock on the actual first-overall pick, Myles Garrett, who just so happens to be Mayfield's teammate.
But it was more of a praise to Mahomes.
At this point, nobody denies that Mahomes is a game-changer at the quarterback position for the Chiefs.
There are probably a lot of teams scratching their heads right now and wishing that they would've pulled the trigger on drafting Mahomes.
Luckily for the Browns, they ended up with not only Garrett but Mayfield as well the following season.
Mayfield isn't exactly putting up Patrick Mahomes numbers just yet, but nobody can deny the Browns decision to select him as he has been a shining point for Cleveland in 2018.
It will be interesting to see these two young quarterbacks go toe-to-toe with each other during week nine.

What is going on continuing on our last video about the process of making music
in general in this video we're going to address the question of and this is in
quotes can I use blank sampler to make boom-bap hip-hop if you feel that the
sampler you have or the sampler that you like isn't typically used for hip-hop
and you're wondering can you use this or do you need a specific brand of sampler
to make hip-hop this videos for you but first I'd like to invite you to like
share and subscribe to our channel and with that let's get to it
alright the reality is there are definitely samplers that are popular in
the history of hip-hop production and in current boom bap hip hop production and
those are typically used to make the music they're used by a vast amount of
producers co-signed by people all over the world
and have become part of hip-hop culture in themselves as instruments and what's
also a reality is that any sampler can be used to make boom bap hip hop over
the years I've been continuously shocked by finding out what samplers were used
to make some of my favorite classic hip hop songs and while some of them were
the typical samples that we know the majority of them were obscure unpopular
samplers used to make some of the most iconic hip hop we have to date in hip
hop music
so now the question is how did we get to this point where we feel that we need a
specific type of sampler to make hip-hop and in thinking back about it there is a
reason for this and while it's not the only reason it definitely is a major
reason whether you're a beginner in the hip hop production game or a veteran we
have all gotten the talk what's the talk the talk goes something like this you
start off in the production game and you've got your hands on a sampler a
sampler that you like and eventually you run into somebody else that makes
hip-hop music as well and the two of you get to talking and of course you end up
talking about gear and they say hey what are you using and you say well I'm just
using sampler XYZ and they say what sampler XYZ no you need to get sampler
MPC or sampler SP 1200 or machine or dig attack or SP for or for any of the
popular samplers and they proceeded to list the many names of everyone that you
admire that use the sampler that they're talking about which makes you feel like
the sampler you have is all wrong for boom-bap music so you either put that
sampler aside which of course halts your whole process of music making and run
out to the store and get that recommended sampler that you have to
learn from scratch and because of that you've now accepted the mindset that you
need a recommended sampler to make boom-bap music and make no mistake I've
gotten the talk and I've definitely given a lot of people to talk and over
time I've realized that it's best to let everyone use the equipment that they
have and the equipment that they like the best results will always come from
that
so how did the classic machines that we Revere get popular in the first place
but all instruments that do something very well and efficiently become popular
and they have staying power beyond their years because of those qualities
so take the SB 1214 technology at its time there was no better drum machine
that could sample and sequence and be relatively affordable during its time it
was light easy to carry around from Studio to studio and although it was
made in 1987 the SB 1200 was built off the reputation of the SB 12 which was
made in 1985 so it was an upgrade that was embraced
by the hip-hop community for all the reasons listed above and during those
years as hip-hop music grew and become more commercial and people actually
started mentioning the SP 1200 in songs which even further boosted its
popularity among inspiring musicians and inspiring producers the SB 1272
by 1988 when the MPC 60 rolled around it had to break into the market to gain its
place even though it was a superior machine to the SB 1200 and so these two
drum machines became the most popular even though at that very same time
classic records were being made with other samplers so popularity and general
acceptance by the hip-hop community has a huge role to play in how we think
about other machines in relation to the tried and true samplers that we know so
let's move on to the truth the absolute truth is you can make
boom-bap hip-hop with any sampler and more than that you can make hip-hop with
anything that makes noise anything within your grasp that you can produce
sound with can be used to make hip-hop a stick a tire a table beatboxing a
turntable clapping anything that can produce sound and can be recorded can be
used to make hip-hop so if you are now starting out in hip-hop or you've been
involved in other genres of music and have an interest in starting to make
hip-hop always remember out of all the genres of music we have today hip-hop is
very versatile anything goes as long as the end product is great and the best
thing that you can do to make great hip-hop is to use the machines that you
like whatever machine calls out to you and gravitates towards you the most
that's the machine that you're supposed to be using because it's gonna assist
you in translating your musical thoughts as accurately as possible to the
listener and at the end of the day we always have to remember that hip-hop did
not start with the sampler and it most definitely won't end with the sampler
it's a very freeform genre similar to jazz in that the end result is far more
important in the process anyway thank you for watching if you
