CHOPSTICK CURLS | Natural Hair - Duration: 6:11.

Hey, this is ife of ife360 tv and I am back with another video, today I am going to show

you how I did these curls with chopsticks.

We're going to need some chopsticks, I used about 40, I used some mini hair clamps, I

sectioned my hair and then I moisturised it with flaxseed gel, leave in from Tresemme

Naturals and my whipped shea butter mix., just as i did in my "How I moisturize my Hair"

video.

At first I tried it out with one chop stick, but my hair is too long for one so I needed

2 chopsticks to complete the style.

I held the chopstick at the base of my hair and wrapped it along the sticks.

I got the idea from CurlDaze.

I live in China so why not try some chopsticks?

I secured my roots with a hairpin, I continued the same process throughout.

The hardest part was getting the hair pin to stay in place.

I know, I look ridiculous.

It was a little bit stressful but not as stressful as my 100 coats of flaxseed gel video.

It was uncomfortable.

When you are placing the chopsticks in your hair, you want the thicker part of the chopsticks

at the top so that it will be easy to remove when you are ready to take them out.

I also have the chopsticks pointing forward and will explain later why this is important.

I am all done with wrapping the chopsticks.

When you look at the back of my hair, I have them pointing forward so that I can have a

good night's rest.

You can use a hair dryer if you don't want to sleep with it.

Sleeping with this is stressful.

As you can see the chopsticks didn't make it through the night.

I couldn't wait to take them out the next morning.

I sleep on my back so it helped with sleeping once the chopsticks were pointing forward.

it was painful.

When I was removing the chopsticks, I unclamped the ends and removed the hairpins at the roots.

The chopsticks were removed very quickly.

Once I removed the chopsticks I am able to separate the curls so that I have more volume.

I got some cute definition, look at those nice spiral curls.I'm going to use my afro

pick, to lift the roots for some more volume.

I hope you like this style.

I thought it was super cute, I liked the bounce.

It was worth it.
