When Martinex returned, he took a teleporter tube to Jupiter to warn the stronger colonists of the attack, but they'd already made it there.
A single survivor of the Jupiter colony, Charlie-27 joined Martinex to Earth where they met Vance Astro and Yondu to battle back against the aggressive Badoon as the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Eventually these Guardians would meet with others of a similar cause and purpose.
Martinex holds a doctorates degree in both engineering and physics and has experience
with most forms of 31st century technology, including cybernetics.
Like all Pluvian's, Martinex was genetically engineered for the freezing temperatures of Pluto.
His skin is composed of a silicon-isotope organic crystal that is extremely durable
and resistant to heat, cold, and most forms of damage.
