BREAKING: New Conservative Cable News Channel "In The Works" - Duration: 2:07.
To say it has been a rough month for Fox News
would be a massive understatement.
With the loss of a flagship host (Bill O'Reilly) and others under investigation or on "vacation,"
the optics surrounding the network aren't looking pretty.
Anytime savvy investors see a company in trouble, they see opportunity.
That seems to be the case with a bombshell leak from a television insider who claims
a conservative news network is in the works.
The execs at Fox News are definitely not going to like this…
Mediaite reports: A well-placed source close to the proposal
tells Mediaite that serious discussions are underway to create an alternative conservative
cable network on the belief that the Fox News Network is moving too far to the left.
The source, who is engaged in the talks, says a meeting is planned for today with two prominent
high-powered television executives, some underperforming conservative networks and people who have
an interest and the ability to fund a new network.
The potential aim?
Putting "the old band" back together.
There are certainly plenty of (out-of-work?) conservative powerhouses to pick from that
could star on a new network, and perhaps even some executives from within Fox News who might
be lured by the new opportunity.
"I'm working on it (the new conservative channel) hot and heavy," the source said.
"It's live, it's real."
The new channel could come to fruition within the next 10 to 12 months, the executive said.
It is no surprise that a savvy investor would see the turmoil within Fox News as a major
opportunity.
As The Times piece noted, analysts estimate that Fox News produced 25 percent of 21st
Century Fox's operating income last year or a whopping $6.6 billion.

- We had received an email from the YMCA.
And the Y was looking for summer volunteers.
I began to think about this
in relations to the other immersions.
There were immersions that were in Europe,
immersions that were in the Philippines.
We have so many issues right here in our own country
that people have neglected.
So I just thought we really need to do something.
- A lot of groups focus on service work
and they want to be getting involved and helping.
And that's not necessarily the model we're looking for.
It's more of a cultural immersion and exposure.
And USC has been really good at challenging us
to think more creatively and expand our capabilities.
- The potential collaboration that I think can happen
from this engagement that's been happening
with all the people that we've met.
Them seeing what we might be able to offer,
even from a distance, whether it's grant writing
or just resources or just keeping that communication.
When you're trying to work with a community
in a Native population like this
and a lot of outsiders coming in,
it's all about developing that relationship
and they see that we too are just trying to learn,
but we are also saying, "How can we help?"
- It takes the students out of their comfort zone
in southern California
and to experience something very different.
You wouldn't get that from reading in a book
or watching a movie, do you know what I mean?
I think to come here, to meet people,
to live with the people, to experience what it's like,
it's just very different from
where most of the students are coming from.
So I think to have the experience
is really important for the students.
- It is very important for our tribe
to offer opportunities for immersion.
What I hope students get out of this experience
is that they'll be able to find maybe satisfaction
in enjoying what they do or choose to do
and maybe helping people or finding help for people.
- I think immersion programs are deeply important.
The experience of making yourself uncomfortable,
stretching yourself, challenging yourself
is so crucial to the work and there is no growth
if we don't challenge ourselves in this way
and put ourselves in situations
where we don't know all the things.
We need to be learners, we need to be observers,
we need to listen.
- You get such a more rich experience
interacting with the locals and learning the customs.
It definitely opens your eyes to a bigger world
than what you see just in the literature.
I definitely recommend this.
- A social worker is about connection.
This experience, this immersion provided me
the opportunity to do that whether it's with the elders
or the children or the people providing services here.
And be able to connect with them
and it feels really good to be part of that.
- Coming on this immersion, especially towards the end
of my academic career, it really refocused me
and it reminded me that this is
the type of grassroots work that I want to do.
This is why I fell in love with this profession.
This is why I wanted to be a social worker.

President Donald Trump has proven once again that he is the master of the media.
Today, Washington Post/ABC tried to publish one of their polls to discredit him and he
flipped it Big League.
***The polls revealed, amongst other things, that 96%-98% of everyone that voted for Donald
Trump is happy with their decision.
I'm sure they were trying to act like us Trump supporters are gullible or some other
BS.
Nope.
President Trump hopped on twitter and took total control.
See what I mean?
The focus of the poll was on the alleged 42% approval rating of our president.
The problem here is that most Trump supporters don't watch ABC or read Washington Post
because they are notorious liars.
So how can their polls be even a tiny bit accurate?
Oh, and let's not forget that the same poll also found that most Americans approve of
his America First policies (75% to 25%), his handling of North Korea (46% to 37%), and
his ability to keep his promises (44% to 41%).
Of course, the media will never focus on that part.
If you have been on the Trump Train this whole time and think he is a great President so
far, then do you part and help Spread this around to every Trump supporter you know.

Because he's a rapper and now he's singing, and I just think that's cool. And I wanna hear it.

It was actually.. it seemed so short to me because everything was just like so interesting.
Like, because we were new to Dallas, and it was our first time going to Dallas anyways.
And um..
We just didn't know what to expect and so everything was like really interesting.
We were just like looking around and seeing like other BABYZ walking around
With their, like signs or like um.. with like other merches and just passing out papers and
Everything, it was like cool.
And so, it didn't seem like I waited like for.. how many hours? It was like 5 hours I think.
Yeah, it didn't seem like it was 5 hours.
The wait wasn't that bad. It was um.. I think.. about 5 hours?
But it didn't feel like 5 hours.............
I guess...
I was like probably the happiest.. That's like my happiest moment out of the concert, seriously.
It was YES. (as if that tells anything lol)
The DJ was so cool and I um..
After the concert, I immediately looked him up, and I saw that he, you know, he was the one who did the remix stuff with Yongguk.
And--the song. The song that they remixed for the concert.
And he was so cool the way that he just like BLEW UP the entire stage before B.A.P. even came out.
Yes, next concert we're gonna try to get P1 tickets, try to get the hi-touch if they have it again.
OMG, no! We didn't sing "Happy Birthday" during the concert. I was so mad, for Himchan.
And, but then I heard that they did sing "Happy Birthday" after everybody left, after the hi-touch, I think.
But yeah. It was so regretful that we didn't say during the concert.
I like fell in love with Zelo's solo.
His solo is like.. so sweet~ and it's so cute. He is like so precious.
Zelo's solo is so sweet and it's so awesome that he wrote it in English so that we could understand, you know? The international fans.
So yeah. That was our experience of B.A.P.'s Party Baby concert in Dallas 2017.
Um.. hopefully B.A.P. will come back to Dallas or somewhere close.
We would totally go. We would totally love to go to another B.A.P. concert, so.. B.A.P., please come back soon~
Yes, and the next country that they're going to.. hopefully the BABYz there will have a good time like how we did.

Letter of Recommendation - Duration: 4:13.
Hello!
I want to discuss something that has been occurring here and there from time to time.
How I noticed this trend?
People have been coming to me about it and felt betrayed.
I began to see it happen here and there which is bizarre because this wasn't a problem I
was aware of previously.
The point?
You know that as summer is almost upon us, this usually means graduation from high school
and college.
Also, this is a time where some people want a career change and move elsewhere whether
it leads them to a new city or simply a different location.
Sometimes, a new environment is needed.
Or, an opportunity opened up and one wants to take advantage of it.
For a new job, a letter of recommendation is needed and usually needs about three of
them.
When someone ask you for a letter of recommendation, it is usually an honor because that person
looked up to you.
Obviously, that person had a positive experience working with you or learning from you or whatever
reason.
If you're asked to write a letter and had a positive experience with that person because
he or she took initiatives, was able to grow from mistakes, or displayed
a can-do attitude, was prompt, or finished projects in a timely manner, then do a letter.
When you send a letter of recommendation, you are testifying that the applicant is qualified,
will be a worthy asset, and will be successful.
Now, the reason this is an issue is because some of these people have asked others for
a letter of recommendation except that negative letters are sent instead.
These letters are outlining negative experiences on unprofessionalism, procrastination, and
subpar skills.
They believe there are others who are better qualified than these applicants.
If you have had a negative experience with this person, you should be honest and say
no to writing a letter.
If everyone they asked for recommendation were honest and said "no" then they would
realize that maybe they are the problem and they need to improve themselves.
However, if the writers lie and the applicants struggle with landing a job, guess who is
unprofessional?
You are.
You're not helping them improve for their future.
The next time you are asked to write a letter of recommendation and you had a positive experience
with that person, by all means, go ahead.
But, if you had a negative experience or believe he or she is not qualified, be honest by saying
"no" than to agree and then send a negative letter instead.
Don't do that.
A "letter of recommendation" generally means a positive letter.
Please remember this the next time someone ask you for letter of recommendation.
Be honest.
If you say "no", your honesty will be appreciated than to wonder why one cannot land a job.
It is not that hard to be honest by saying "no".
Pretending to do a favor is not needed.
Think twice the next time.

added this absorbing foam, which you can see in the background, these fingers to completely
make it whatʻs called "anechoic," so there no radio echoes in here.

So this is
a little bluetooth button for Android or IOS
An on/off switch so there's the tripod
in action the reason I bought is because if the
studio is set up in the other room if I
want to vlog in here where it's nice and quiet
in here and I can just come in and use this
little tripod and I haven't got to set up
the big tripod. I can just use this little
one. It's pretty neat pretty handy and
you can actually use it to take it out
on you know instead of taking out the
big cameras. I can take this out and
use as a handheld but I'm out vlogging in
the street I'll show you how you do it.
There you go now as you can see it quite
easily hold a DSLR as well so it's so
it's pretty useful it's very very useful
you should have seen the outtakes of me
struggling around with that big tripod
which I have over the back of the table
because I kept knocking it on the table
but this one's very very stable. Perfect
These are the tools you need to do the
job and I did stack my cameras on boxes
and old books and this and that
But it's just unstable. You need a stable platform on
which to film properly so might as well
just go and get it. End of story

Amir Phone Stand And Watch Stand Unboxing And Review! - Duration: 7:37.
Lots of people use their mobile phones and smartwatches but sometimes when at work you
just want to find a comfortable Dock that holds your mobile phone and your smartwatch
and this product I have here should solve that problem.
Hey guys it's me JoshyTek and today I'm going to unbox and review the Amir Phone And Watch
Stand.
Before I start this review I just want to thank Amir for allowing me to review the Dock
as I wouldn't be able to review this product without them.
So when you receive this product it will come in a small cardboard box.
First impressions looking at the box itself, I like how the company has used cardboard
as the preferred material for the box as it gives me the impression that the company has
spent the most money on the phone Stand instead of the packaging.
Looking at the box you can get a definition of what the product should be when you open
up the box and on the top of the box you will see the name of the product in bold writing
which I find is helpful.
Flipping the box over you can see three USB ports which will allow you to charge your
devices simultaneously.
All in all I do like the minimalist box, it's simple and understated.
The fun really starts once we get the box open.
Opening up the box you will get two things.
You will get your power cable where you will be able to power up the dock and charge your
devices.
You will also get the dock itself and That's it.
Looking at the dock I really like how the company has made this dock with real carved
bamboo wood.
This really shows that this isn't a cheap dock that you're buying here.
The wood is that real that I can even smell it.
On the top of the dock you will see that there is a cutout which looks like a circle.
If you have an Apple Watch, the charger you get with it will fit perfectly in the cutout.
You will also see the cutout where you can keep the cable tidy so it doesn't stick out
of the dock to make it untidy.
unfortunately I don't have an Apple Watch but I guarantee that the charger will fit
perfectly in that cutout.
Next to the cutout you will see the big cutout for your mobile phone to fit.
Of course me being an android user I had no problems docking my phone into the space and
it rested my Motorola perfectly, and my phone is a big phone here with a 5.5 inch screen
so it fitted great.
I like how there is padding behind where the phone rests as the wood won't scratch your
device if you don't use a case.
On one of the sides I like how the company has carefully curved the place where the Smartwatch
will dock.
I've had no problems docking my LG G Watch there and it just did the job.
The shape where the watch sits really looks interesting and really different when looking
at it and I do think it will fit any type smartwatch.
On the other side of the dock there's nothing much going on here.
On the back of the dock you will see your power input to power up the three USB ports.
These three ports will allow you to charge three devices simultaneously.
Amir claims that these three USB ports have what is called "Smart IC" Which supposed
to detect and charge your devices at the fastest charge rate.
These three ports pump out 3.0 Amps at 5 volts.
I do like how there is engraving in the wood to show how much voltage is going into the
dock and how much voltage is pushing out.
On the bottom of the dock you will see the cutout for your charger cable.
I find this really useful as it definitely tides up the cable management so there won't
really be much cables sticking out.
I also like the white rubber pads that help the dock stand up and not move or slip from
its position.
But however the dock isn't all that great, yes the design looks great and it does what
it does but from my experience I have noticed some negative things with the dock.
What if you needed to charge your phone?
Yes, you can obviously route the cable under the dock and connect your phone to charge
it but the only problem I came across is that there isn't much support for the cable as
the cutout beneath the dock is too big in my opinion.
What would've been great is that the cutout could've been more smaller so there's more
support when the phones docked.
Another thing I didn't like is the USB Ports.
The two USB ports connect my cables perfectly but the very last one right near to the input
port, I've noticed that it's really hard to plug in the cable and even to remove it, It's
also the same with the input port as well.
I know you're only going to plug in the input cable once and not remove it but I just wanted
to point that out, and that kind of makes me worry as I don't want the housing to be
damaged inside the dock and it looks almost impossible to take the thing apart, also when
you have one of the cables plugged in, there is a ton of movement in the ports and this
also makes me worry as they can easily give out one day.
And the last thing I came across is that when you're using the dock to charge your device,
it works perfectly but if you operate your phone while the dock is charging, I noticed
a lot of frame drops on my phone's software.
Now I'm not blaming Amir for this, I just think that it's all down to the devices software.
I have also tried this on my iPad Mini and I haven't noticed that problem at all, so
I think it's software related.
But all in all if I were to recommend this docking station to you.
In my opinion it's a bit of a mixed bag to me.
If you have an Apple Watch and an iPhone then I would recommend it to you but I don't really
like the massive cutout if you were to charge your phone.
If you just want to find a safe place to charge your Apple Watch safely then this is a good
buy.
I do think this dock will complement an office setup as it's small to install on an office
desk and it doesn't take up much space because of its size.
It's also useful if you travel a lot and you move from different offices as it's a small
dock.
If you want to keep your phone and watch in one place then I would also recommend it for
that and for the design, it's amazing with its pure 100% bamboo wood.
For the price it's actually discounted and it's now at £14 or $18 if you're in America.
It used to be at £20, but to be honest I think that's a reasonable price for a docking
station that's made out of real wood and does what it does.
It charges your devices and yes I only bumped into small problems but the dock did what
it did and it was to charge your devices and to have a safe place for them.
But apart from that that's my review of the Amir Phone And Watch Docking Station.

kind of chunky so you want to have
band-aid over it during that time okay
and some aquaphor or something that will
help keep the band-aid from sticking to

but as far as just the next couple of
days you just leave I could leave that
probably tomorrow you'll want to have
something on it it depends on how it
looks

next day but sometimes it takes a few
days

BREAKING: New Conservative Cable News Channel "In The Works" - Duration: 2:07.To say it has been a rough month for Fox News
would be a massive understatement.
With the loss of a flagship host (Bill O'Reilly) and others under investigation or on "vacation,"
the optics surrounding the network aren't looking pretty.
Anytime savvy investors see a company in trouble, they see opportunity.
That seems to be the case with a bombshell leak from a television insider who claims
a conservative news network is in the works.
The execs at Fox News are definitely not going to like this…
Mediaite reports: A well-placed source close to the proposal
tells Mediaite that serious discussions are underway to create an alternative conservative
cable network on the belief that the Fox News Network is moving too far to the left.
The source, who is engaged in the talks, says a meeting is planned for today with two prominent
high-powered television executives, some underperforming conservative networks and people who have
an interest and the ability to fund a new network.
The potential aim?
Putting "the old band" back together.
There are certainly plenty of (out-of-work?) conservative powerhouses to pick from that
could star on a new network, and perhaps even some executives from within Fox News who might
be lured by the new opportunity.
"I'm working on it (the new conservative channel) hot and heavy," the source said.
"It's live, it's real."
The new channel could come to fruition within the next 10 to 12 months, the executive said.
It is no surprise that a savvy investor would see the turmoil within Fox News as a major
opportunity.
As The Times piece noted, analysts estimate that Fox News produced 25 percent of 21st
Century Fox's operating income last year or a whopping $6.6 billion.

TO SHARE SOME OF THE REALLY VICIOUS EMAILS FROM O'REILLY'S
SUPPORTERS. AND THE PIECE THEN APPEARED IN THE SUNDAY NEW YORK
TIMES IN A VERY PROMINENT POSITION, AND THAT KIND OF TOOK
EVERYBODY'S BREATH AWAY THAT THIS FIGHT WAS GOING ON.
I THEN GOT HUNDREDS AND THEN EVENTUALLY THOUSANDS OF EMAILS
FROM AMERICANS, FROM READERS OF THE NEW YORK TIMES, WHO WERE
APOLOGIZING FOR THE U.S, FOR FOX NEWS, FOR BILL O'REILLY,
AND FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAD ATTACKED ME, SO IT KIND OF
WENT BACK AND FORTH, AND IN THE END, I FELT THAT I HAD KIND OF
FELT I HAD WON THE ARGUMENT BECAUSE THOSE DECENT PEOPLE IN
THE STATES WHO SAW O'REILLY FOR THE BLOW HARD, POMPOUS, BULLYING
CHARACTER HE WAS, THEY WERE APOLOGIZING FOR HIM.
IS THIS A TV INDUSTRY ISSUE OR IS THIS A WIDER ISSUE,
WHEN IT COMES TO WOMEN AND HOW WOMEN ARE TREATED?
WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE REALLY THE TREATMENT OF WOMEN IN
MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRIES, AND BY TRADITION,
THOSE INDUSTRIES ARE THOUGHT OF AS SORT OF INTENSE, CREATIVE,

TODAY, WE CAN ASK, IS IT LEGAL? IS IT FAIR? IS IT EQUITABLE?
ARE PEOPLE TREATING OTHERS THE WAY THEY WOULD WANT TO BE
TREATED THEMSELVES. AND SO THOSE ARE I THINK SOME OF
THE USEFUL QUESTIONS WE CAN ASK AS WE MEASURE THIS.
THE PUBLIC OFTEN HOLDS FAMOUS PEOPLE WHETHER THEY BE MOVIE
STARS OR POLITICIANS TO A HIGHER STANDARD TO FOLLOW, BUT WHEN
THEY FALL, HOW DOES THE PUBLIC RECOVER AND WHAT CAN WE DO --
LIKE HOW DO WE MAINTAIN THAT PUBLIC LOYALTY?
OKAY, WELL, TODAY WHEN IT COMES TO MOVIE STARS, I THINK

THE POLICE OF TORONTO, AS THEIR MENTORS, SO WE KNOW THAT THERE
WAS A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON THE CHURCH, AND IN PARTICULAR,
IN THE CHURCHES, THE LEADERSHIP WHO CAME TOGETHER WERE MUCH MORE
SENSITIVE TO THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND WERE MUCH MORE
WILLING TO ADDRESS THEM.

WE HAVE THIS, THE SAME MORAL AUTHORITY OF HIS
PASTORATE NOW BEING ASKED TO RESIGN FROM THE SENATE.

WELL, I THINK IT'S VERY CLEAR IN THE SCRIPTURE HOW LEADERS
OUGHT TO BEHAVE. IN ISRAEL, THE PRIEST WAS CALLED
TO A HIGHER STANDARD, THE PROPHETS WERE CALLED
TO A HIGHER STANDARD. ALL LEADERSHIP IS CALLED TO A
HIGHER STANDARD OF BEHAVIOUR, WHETHER IT BE MORAL, ETHICAL,
WE'RE ALL CALLED TO A HIGHER STANDARD OF BEHAVIOUR,
AND THE REASON FOR THIS IS THAT FOLLOWERS HAVE A WAY OF LOOKING
AT LEADERS, AND TAKING A LEAD FROM THEM.
AND I BELIEVE WITHIN THE CHURCH, THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY
THAT WE INSIST, THAT AS LEADERS, WE STICK TO THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE
STANDARD OF RESPONSIBILITY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY FOR OUR OWN
BEHAVIOUR.

THROUGH PROCESSES WHERE THEY ADDRESS THE BROKENNESS
IN THEIR LIFE, THE HURT THEY DID AND WE LEAD THEM THROUGH
EITHER ONE YEAR OR TWO YEAR PROCESSES WHERE
THEY'RE ACCOUNTABLE, AND THEY DEAL WITH WHAT WAS IT THAT LED
TO THEIR DOWN FALL, WHAT'S THE ROOT CAUSES, HOW DO WE
SUPPORT THEM, IF THEY HAVE FAMILY, THEIR FAMILY, HOW DO WE

RESTORATION. SO THERE IS HOPE IN THIS STORY,

LISTENING TO THE DIFFERENT STORIES, PERSONALLY I'VE BEEN
GRIEVING, BECAUSE I'VE BEEN AT TABLES WHERE I'VE HEARD OF THAT
KIND OF ABUSE, OR I'VE HEARD OF THOSE KINDS OF BROKEN MOMENTS,
AND IT JUST -- I KNOW IT BREAKS THE HEART OF GOD, SO IT
HAS TO BREAK OUR HEART, BUT THEN HE COMES AS A REDEEMER,
AND HE RESTORES HOPE, BOTH THROUGH THOSE WHO HAVE SUFFERED
THROUGH ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS, OR WRONG ACTIONS, BUT ALSO THOSE
WHO ARE THE OFFENDERS. HE CAN FIND THE PETERS AND MAKE
THEM WHOLE AGAIN.
