Wait, What?: And Life's Other Essential Questions - 3 Things You Can Use - Duration: 7:28.
Going to be a good show today, huh Maddi?
Wait, What?
Welcome to 3 Things You Can Use, where Maddi and I decode self-improvement and entrepreneurship
through books, three things at a time.
If you want to improve your life and your business through books with us, subscribe!
This week's book is Wait, What?
And Life's Other Essential Questions by James E. Ryan
James E. Ryan is the Dean of Harvard's Graduate School of Education.
And I couldn't introduce the book any better than he did, so — I'll let him do it:
"These 5 questions are essential everyday staples of simple and profound conversations
alike.
Questions that are almost always useful regardless of context.
They are questions that can just as readily help you get you through a Monday morning
as they can help you figure out what you want to do with your life.
They are questions that will help you form new relationships and deepen the ones you
already have."
This is a truly unique and inspiring perspective from an author with a lot of depth.
So, what are three things we can use from this book?
"Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers."
Says Tony Robbins.
And James Ryan has come up with the essential questions of life.
Five questions.
The first question:
Wait, What?
Wait, what, at it's core is about seeking understanding.
You can ask it in many different ways…
You can be asking for elaboration Wait, what?
Indicating incredulity Wait, what?
Conveying suspicion and skepticism Wait, what?
Asking for clarification Wait, what?
"In short, wait, what, is an essential question because it is at the heart of understanding,
which in turn is crucial to a fulfilling and rewarding life, both professionally and personally.
The world will be a richer place for you the more you understand the people and ideas you
encounter."
The second question:
I Wonder…
Whether you are wondering why or wondering if, I wonder is at the heart of curiosity.
And while conventional wisdom suggests that curiosity can be dangerous, especially to
cats… curiosity is conducive to health and happiness.
What was once mundane becomes mysterious and fascinating to the curious.
The curious try new things.
Interest is poofed into being when the words "I wonder…" are spoken.
If you fail to wonder, you risk missing out on joys and possibilities you didn't even
realize exist, that are sometimes closer than you could know.
The third question:
Couldn't We At Least…?
The question preceding all progress.
Couldn't we at least agree is the start of all social progress.
Pushing back against polarization and extremism, getting past disagreement to form some consensus
or find common ground.
Couldn't we at least is a way to get started while at the same time acknowledging the path
ahead may be hard or uncertain.
As Mary Poppins says, "A job begun is a job half done."
The fourth question:
How Can I Help?
The question at the base of all good relationships.
How can I help signals that you care, that you are willing to help, but it also saves
their dignity.
You validate that they have a real problem and that you are available to help if need
be.
While at the same time it makes them take ownership for their own problems.
And at the very least, it serves as an invitation for them to vent and get some sympathy.
In this way, by asking how you can help, sometimes you already have.
The fifth question:
What Truly Matters?
The question at the heart of life.
What truly matters helps you to maneuver through the minutia in pursuit of the momentous.
It's the periscope for your routine submarine.
Peer over the peaks and valleys of everyday life and into the vast expanse of possibility,
reminding yourself of the world outside of your little submarine.
What truly matters? puts a magnifying glass to irrelevance.
And it focuses us on the big picture.
Ask these questions and — get at the root of understanding, the heart of curiosity,
the beginning of all progress, the base of all relationships and the heart of life.
And the bonus question.
Taken from the poetry of Raymond Carver, this is a question you will ask yourself when you
are at the end.
"And did you get what you wanted from this life, and even so?"
Did you get what you wanted from this life?
Did you live it up?
Did you enjoy the moments that you could enjoy?
Were you present and active?
Did you spend time with the people you wanted to spend time with?
Did you accomplish the things you set out to do?
Was the world a better place because you were on it?
and even so…
Pain and disappointment a part of life, this part acknowledges this and makes the question
more serious.
"Did you get what you wanted from this life, and even so?"
Thinking of how you're eventually going to ask yourself this question is the point.
It rips the mundanity off of your day to day and prompts you to enjoy, to forgive, and
to experience.
It makes you scoff at inaction and shun regret.
And it gives you the incentive to ask and use and live by the other five questions.
Einstein said If I had an hour to solve a problem I'd spend 55 minutes figuring out
the right question to ask and five minutes finding the solution.
The right questions can be bowling bumpers, guiding you to the right answers.
Searching the ether with your blindfold on asking the cosmos, "warmer?
colder?"
And correspondingly, asking the wrong questions will give you the wrong answers.
Like in Algorithms to Live By, by Brian Christian and Tom Griffiths, overfitting by tracking
the wrong metrics, i.e.
A business focusing only on producing won't take enough time for maintenance and will
eventually pay a price.
Asking questions like, "Why am I having such a bad day?"
sets a tone and boxes your circumstances in, negatively.
"How can I make this day better," on the other hand, opens the box.
Questions are just as important as answers.
Questions usually have a lot of built in assumptions.
The saying, "there are no bad questions," can't be true if that's the case.
But with the right questions,
What would your perfect life look like five years from now?
What would you try if you knew you couldn't fail?
What's your favorite color?
Questions can change you perspective and open up possibilities that, before then, went unseen.
So... to recap!
Ask the five questions and get at the root of understanding, the heart of curiosity,
the beginning of all progress, the base of all relationships and the heart of life.
Ask the bonus question for a quick shot of perspective
Remember that questions can be just as important as answers and put enough time into asking
the right ones.
This book was a perfect combination of wisdom, humanity, and understanding the underlying
questions of life.
I really enjoyed it.

NYX FACE AWARDS PORTUGAL 2017 - ALIEN INVASION - Duration: 9:10.
My name is Luzia Gomes and I am an egyptologist.
I dedicated my whole life to trying to find the truth and I've finally done it
They're coming... I am currently hidding in my basement
I don't know how much time we have left... Come... I'll show you...
For millennia, people have questioned how ancient egyptians were able to create
such amazing structures like the pyramids or the sphinx
Several theories came out like the need for ramps and other tools but one theory stood out
and was often insulted and made fun of
Beings with superior intelligence and technology came to Earth and helped humans build temples in their honor
The main deity in Ancient Egypt was Ra, the Sun God.
Ra had a daughter called Bastet
Bastet was the reason why Egyptians worshiped cats. Cats represented all the good things about the sun
However when humans would turn agains Ra, Bastet would turn into Sekhmet
With the head of a lioness... And would devour all of those who wouldn't follow Ra's teachings
When the gods were no longer being worshiped, they fled back to their planet.
but they promised they would return in 3000 years.
And that is today
It is easy to expect that once they send Bastet.. she will not remain in her cat shape forever
she will not be happy with the state of mankind these days
We don't have much time left
Hi cuties. I started by putting on Aquasource Everplump by Biotherm
Followed by Nyx Angel Veil, in order to have a nice primmer to start the makeup process
I also used a Nyx Nail polish on my nails
With the green shade of the colour correcting pallet
i corrected the red tones of my face and with the yellow shade, the purples ones
After i pushed my hair out of my face, I started sketching with a Nyx faux whites
the limits of the face paint that i will do later on
paying attention to the neck area too
Next, i put Nyx blending sponge in a water bowl and i removed the excess
I put red (ish) concealer on my eyebrows and with the blending sponge
I blended a high coverage foundation on my face and neck
Next, I put Nyx setting powder to set the foundation
To give the illusion of an Alien bone structure
I used Nyx Liquid Swede Stone Fox on my face and neck
I used Nyx faux white pencil again but this time I used it to sketch a scarab on my forehead
And with Nyx felt tip liner I added lines and some details
like the wings, tweezers and legs
I painted everything using Lip of the day Hex and Heat Wave and Liquid Suede Little Denim dress
With a thin brush and Stone Fox, I gave more intensity to the lines
To bring out some volume to the scarab, I used Nyx ultimate pallet Brights
to add some shadows and light with a dark blue and a yellow
To achieve a skin tone out of this world, I used Nyx macaroon lippie in blue
on the areas that i would usually put bronzer. Obviously I blended everything with the sponge
The camera stopped workin for a bit but basically all i did was add some shadows with a dark blue shadow
always keeping in mind that it must be symmetrical and natural
To intensify the volume, I added both the darkest and lightest shades of the Love contours all pallet
Did my nose highlight and blended the shadow lines to make them more realistic
decided to add some details like this line that goes from my nose to my chin
and added blue shadow on my crease to look more "cat eye shape"
I put several prismatic shadows on my Nyx pro pallet and selected this gold one to put on my lid
I used stone fox again to create the eyebrows, cat nose and cat mouth
I added the gold shadow on my upper lid again and a copper shade on my lower lid
Made my eyeliner using hex and added more blue shadow on my crease
from her on, my goal was to add more Egyptian looking details by using Hex and Stone fox
both on my eyes and eyebrows
I started coloring the necklaces with the shame gold eyeshadow
I painted my lips using Nyx Cosmic Metals eletromagnetic
used hex to create a pyramid silhouette on my cupid's bow and also contour my lips
and added a line from my nose to my chin, as well as some details on my nose and forehead bug
I added Nyx double stacked mascara
and starting adding some shadows contour and colour to the necklaces
by using Nyx cosmic metals Speed of light, eyebrow pencil and shadows from
ultimate pallet brights, love contours all and prismatic shadows
while paying attention to the limits of the illusion, I used a Nyx faux whites to sketch the big necklace
And with the eyebrow pencil, I sketched a second scarab beetle with much larger wings
I painted this one the same way i painted the other one: by using Little denim dress
and adding contour with my Nyx felt tip liner
to add volume I added dark blue shadow and light yellow
both from Nyx ultimate pallet brights
I drew the bug's wings using Hex and painted them using the same gold eyeshadow
also add the lines with.. Stone fox...
To simulate alien skin, I added blue shadow between the wings and on my shoulders
and blended everything with a blending brush
With Hex, I follow the lines I drew before to create the big necklace
With my fingers, I painted the necklace with the prismatic gold eyeshadow
And added the lines with a thin brush AND (ofc...) stone fox
to create the illusion of an alien body, I painted my shoulders with... STONE FOX (again...)
so that it kinda blends with the background (even though Stone fox is not black, it is a super dark grey)
With a brown shade from Love contours all, I added shadows to the necklace and bugs wings
And OBVIOUSLY more stone fox to help with the illusion of shadow and volume on the neck area
I also added a dark brown from Love contours all for an extra shadow
HEY! GUESS WHAT!
MORE STONE FOX
You guys can't even imagine how how it took to remove everything
I used blue macaroon lippie to continue with my alien skin (and yes... i am wearing a strapless top)
and added more blue shadow from ultimate pallet brights
together with black from love contours all
lastly, i added the accessories I created for this look:
a wig, a crown, a pair of ears, a glove and the cat lenses
And here is our Bastet
Now let's transform Bastet on the lioness goddess Sekhmet
I started by drawing the mouth and canines with a Nyx faux whites
the canines should be long like a feline and then add all the other teeth smaller but just as pointy
I painted the negative space with... STONE FOX...
AGAIN!!!!
And also used to create a line around the mouth, some wrinkles and teeth shadows
Since i decided I also wanted to do a tongue, I erased the central part
And did some details with a thin brush (I AM NOT GOING TO SAY STONE FOX AGAIN)
And finally, I used a pink blush from Sweet cheeks to paint the tongue and the gums
Hey guys ^_^I hopw you liked the video
It took a looong time to create but being in Nyx face awards in a dream come true
so please don't forget to vote for me so I can go through to the next fase
My name is Luzia Gomes. I hope you liked the video. BYEEEEEE

LONG STORY SHORT WITH LESLIE WILCOX: Roland Cazimero | Program - Duration: 27:47.
[SINGING] At home in the islands, at home in the middle of the sea.
Have you told Robert that you don't think Brothers Cazimero will ever play again?
No, I haven't told him.
I think he knows.
I tell him that I'm very proud of him doing what he's doing,
and that I want him to continue.
I miss playing with him a lot.
I would love to play with him again, if possible.
Roland Cazimero, together with his brother Robert, are the very definition of contemporary
Hawaiian music.
While Robert continues to perform, Roland's life journey has taken him in a
different direction.
Roland Cazimero, next, on Long Story Short.
Long Story Short with Leslie Wilcox is Hawaii's first weekly television program produced and
broadcast in high definition.
Aloha mai kakou.
I'm Leslie Wilcox.
Roland Cazimero was hospitalized after falling ill during a
May Day performance on Maui in 2014.
Since then, Roland's health problems have prevented the
Brothers Cazimero from continuing their highly successful forty-year run.
Today, this composer, singer, master guitarist, and self-described
bradda from Kalihi, remembers how it all started, playing in his parents' band.
Mama had a group called Betty and Her Leo Aloha, which was Betty and her Voices of Love.
Leo, voices; aloha, love.
I gotta tell you.
Betty and Her Leo Aloha; I would go with my dad and we would set
up for the gigs, you know.
And we'd go down to like, the Pearl Harbor substation or destroyer, or
wherever the place we're gonna play.
People, you know: Hi, Leo; Hi, Leo.
My dad go, Hi!
You know, like that.
[CHUCKLE]
And moving around.
I'm going-
Who's Leo?
--What the hell?
Who's Leo?
You know.
And finally, one day, I was looking at a poster, and it said
Betty and Her Leo Aloha.
And I went, Oh, my god; Betty and Leo, and our last name is Aloha.
[CHUCKLE]
My mom had a couple of bands.
Like, my Auntie Lovey played piano, this other lady, Rose Kamauna
played piano after her.
Daddy Camacho; all these different players that would come to the house, and
every Tuesday night they would have rehearsals, or Thursday, depending.
And by the time we were six years old, we would start remembering the
songs.
And Robert and I always had good ears.
So, we would learn the melodies.
My sister Tootsie, we made her sing the lead, 'cause she wasn't good at parts.
And Robert and I would fill in, depending on what
key it was in, and who would take the second part, who
would take the third.
No formal training?
Well, Robert had piano lessons.
He was my Mama and Daddy's pride and joy, you know.
My dad would always say, Robert, keep playing the piano,
I'll buy you your own college.
[CHUCKLE]
[CHUCKLE]
You know.
He never said that to me, ever.
Now, why not?
Um ... kolohe.
Oh ...
I was very kolohe.
So, you had the talent, but you didn't have the discipline.
Or the desire?
I don't know.
But Robert played piano.
And he was playing the song The Nearness of You in F. And
my dad pulled out the bass and taught me how to play The Nearness of You in the Key of
F. And he taught me the basics.
I was about seven years old, I guess.
With a bass?
And I played bass; yeah.
[CHUCKLE] I wish I had a picture of that.
Oh; it was funny.
Because when I started playing with my mom, I would sit on a high stool with a big
jacket, a long jacket, so it looked like I'm a big guy.
And play at the back of the stage.
And after we take a break, I would have to go outside in the
car, 'cause I wasn't allowed to stay in the bar.
My dad was dating the female bass player at the time,
and my mom got mad and fired her.
And I got drafted.
And you started with the bass, which is later what Robert played when you played with him.
When I became part of the Sunday Manoa, I taught myself how to play guitar.
And then, when Robert and I played with Peter, I taught Robert how
to play bass.
When my mom sang, you know, she loved to drink, love her inu.
And she drank scotch, which became my drink.
But I would sing the high parts for her.
That's why when you listen to The Brothers Caz, you hear the high part?
That's because I sang behind Mama.
Whatever song she sang, I always doubled her part.
So, before you learned to do Hawaiian falsetto, you were singing a woman's part?
Yeah.
Wow.
Because Mama needed the help.
We played at all their parties, you know.
And I even got to go with my mom on the Lurline, you know.
We'd get on a tugboat, the Mikioi, and take us out and we'd get onboard
and ride in.
And you know, along with all the old-timers, Auntie Flossie, all these wonderful ladies,
you know.
And they took Robert and I under their arms.
Come babe; baby, baby come, come.
You know.
You make stink ear, 'cause Auntie Flossie not too good today; okay?
You make stink ear?
Yeah; make stink ear.
[CHUCKLE]
Auntie Flossie not quite singing that good today.
And you know, we would laugh with her, but whatever
they wanted, you know.
Your dad worked at Pearl Harbor Public Works?
Yeah, the Public Works Center.
My dad, you know, I gotta thank my dad because one day, I was sick,
and he says to me, Boy, are you sick?
And I said, Oh, yes, Dad.
And I was; I said, Oh, yes, Dad, I'm really sick, Dad.
He goes, Mm, are you dead?
I went, No, Dad, I'm not dead.
He goes, Okay, go change your clothes, get in the car, we going work.
That's a life lesson.
That stayed with me all my life.
Am I dead?
No.
Get up, go to work.
Tell us where you grew up, and who were your siblings?
What was life like in the home, besides the entertainment part?
My dad and mom were married before.
My dad had married a Spencer woman, and then, they had four.
My mom married a Heirakuji man; they had four.
And then, they got together and had the last four,
which was my brother Rodney, Robert, my sister Tootsie, and I.
When they came here, they lived in the Pali Hotel.
Where were they from?
Daddy was the luna for the sugarcane company.
Where?
In Kohala.
In Kohala; okay.
And Mama was from Kohala.
That's right; the Cazimeros are from Kohala.
Yeah.
And then, eventually, they moved to Kalihi, where we lived at Palena Street, P Street.
With all the kids?
At one time, yeah.
That's twelve kids.
You know, that wasn't the the heavy part.
The heavy part was during football season.
One would come home crying, one would come home happy.
[CHUCKLE] Different schools.
Yeah.
The rest of 'em could give a rip.
You know.
But next week, another sister would be crying, another brother would be, you know, cheering.
And you were the baby; you're even younger than your twin, right?
Yeah.
Kanoe.
Fifteen minutes.
[CHUCKLE]
Yeah, I was the baby.
And eventually, came to the point where, a force to be scared of.
'Cause you know, when we started having family meetings,
you know, if I didn't think things were right, I'd go
straight to my number one brother and tell him where I stood about that, and what I thought
about it, and that I wanted to bring it up at the meetings,
and you know, whether he would back me up or not.
So, you needed permission to speak.
Well, in a sense.
But you know, I didn't want to say anything and get shot down.
I was bullied a lot.
And so, I learned to fight.
Bullied by ...
Classmates.
You know, 'cause I was kind of kinny and runty.
I got bust up.
You know.
And then, I started lifting weights, and then I started
taking martial arts, some.
And the best thing I did for myself was learning how to punch stone walls.
Ouch.
Really?
Yeah.
Literally?
Literally.
You know, just bleeding.
But every day, go out there and punch stone walls.
And knowing that if I hit you, you won't get up.
Wow ...
And so, I stopped being bullied.
After Roland Cazimero graduated from Kamehameha Schools, he and his brother Robert joined
Peter Moon's band, The Sunday Manoa.
In 1969, this trio released Guava Jam, which sparked the
beginning of a new movement in Hawaiian music.
When we joined Peter, it was a given, you know, that Peter wanted to do Hawaiian music,
and so did Robert and I.
And the rest is history.
You and Robert, and others woke up and-well, Peter Moon was one-woke up Hawaii.
You were at the vanguard of the Hawaiian renaissance.
I still can't spell that.
[LAUGHTER]
But you know you were there.
How did all of that happen?
You know, Hawaiian music, Hawaiian culture, Hawaiian language, all of a sudden
became something to be proud of.
Because truth be told, for years, there wasn't a lot of pride
on the part of Hawaiians because of what had happened
in history.
Yeah.
[SIGH] We didn't know.
We didn't know.
We were having fun, you know.
We just played music.
You know, Robert and I had enough repertoire that when Peter came up with an intro or
something, we had the music to fit in there.
And you knew Hawaiian music.
You knew mostly contemporary Hawaiian music; right?
Well, we knew both.
Both; you knew traditional and contemporary.
And then, you put your own spin on contemporary Hawaiian music, with Guava Jam.
Yeah.
That wonderful, wonderful recording.
And it was a wonderful time.
So, you know, how did it grow?
We don't know.
It just kept growing.
We just kept: Well, let's do another album.
And people gravitated to the stuff we were doing.
You mentioned how sometimes you, Peter, Robert, you all played off each other, and magic
happened.
Music is an art, and the eye is in the beholder.
So, I'm sure it must have happened the other way too, where maybe one had a great
idea, and somebody else didn't like that way of doing
it.
[CHUCKLE]
I mean, you guys must have bumped up against each other, too; right?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
How was that?
Because it's kind of personal when someone doesn't like your art.
Usually, they didn't like me.
[CHUCKLE] Really?
The others too, would tend to agree with each other?
Too rock and roll.
Oh, too rock and roll; got it.
'Cause Jimi Hendrix is your hero, always.
All Along the Watchtower, you know.
[CHUCKLE]
And I love that.
You know, I love that, eeee.
You know.
Always Jimi for you.
Yeah.
And you know, sometimes, my suggestions or what I wanted to use or do at the time, it
didn't sell with them.
But, you know, I didn't care.
I didn't care.
You know, I didn't make a big thing about it.
I said, Oh, okay, that's fine.
And then, whatever they brought up, I'd make sure that I put my flavor in
there.
Roland Cazimero and his brother Robert formed their own band in 1974, The Brothers Cazimero.
They played together for so long that they became an institution, performing for years
at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, and at the Waikiki Shell on
May Day.
When The Brothers weren't performing or producing albums together, Roland was a solo
artist.
He recorded several albums, each with its own cultural inspiration.
That is such a magical album you did; Pele.
How does it begin in your head?
I mean, do you hear the music in your head before you ever play
it?
In Pele, I heard a great canoe came in from the universe, carrying a woman called Pele.
[HUMS] A big canoe; a canoe so huge.
You know.
And I see it coming in from the cosmos, with Kaumualii standing
there.
And what you see is Earth ... coming in from Kuahelani to Earth, bringing Pele carrying
an egg in her bosom.
Hiiaka i ka poli o Pele; Hiiaka in the bosom of Pele.
You know.
And so, I hear the thunderous [HUMS].
[SINGING] I am ruler of this land, I rule with a strong hand.
I am Pele.
I am Pele.
I am Pele.
Pele.
I am here to stay.
I'm your nows and yesterdays.
So, you visualize, and then you hear it.
[SINGING] Am everything you see.
Lot of times, I just write the words; they just come.
While Roland Cazimero was busy pushing the envelope of Hawaiian music, garnering recognition
and awards for his work, his personal life was a different story.
It was careening out of control.
You were a bad boy?
Yeah.
Playboy?
A player.
Sometimes your lust ... that's the word I want to use, your lust overrides you, to the
point where, you know, my lust took me down to the
point of like, I didn't care.
Didn't care about what?
About what I was doing, with who I was doing it with, and where I was going, if at all.
Whether it was hurting me or not, I didn't care.
I was in such lust that, you know, I'd fight the person to tell me that, You
shouldn't be there.
But I didn't care.
You know.
But one day, I took a good look at my two twins.
You know.
And when they said, Dad, Dad, you know, I knew it was time to stop.
And at that point ... [SIGH] people that I felt very close to me
were not around.
You know, I was there for them, I helped them out, I did whatever I could, you know,
stood up for them, whatever.
And when I needed them to stand up for me, they were gone.
You know, alone; alone.
You know, when you're alone, what's the use of being here?
What's the use of being a part of all this?
It means nothing.
And you're saying you were alone, even though you had all kinds of admiring audiences, and
professional respect, but you felt alone.
Alone.
And you know, I was ready to just end it all, commit suicide.
You know, 'cause there was nothing for me to stick around for.
At that point, I was so alone, I didn't even think about my own
children.
And you know, when you're at that point in your life, you'll just step off the edge,
or whatever.
A good friend of mine, John, I heard him in my head.
If you ever need me, Boze, call me.
He and I would go to the mountains, you know, in his
jeep.
And I did; I called him.
And he came within five minutes, and he took my hand, and he says,
Pray with me, and ask the Lord to forgive you of all your
sins.
And I did.
You know, he said, Sinners pray with me.
And it was just like a whole lot was lifted off
my soul, off my body, and it looked like a good day again.
You know.
And I hated Him; I hated the Lord, because he took my good friend away
from me.
We were close pals, smoking pals, hit the mountains and, you know.
But when I was at the lowest point in my life, I believe it was like he was
right here in my heart and in my head.
Call me, Boze; call me.
And I did.
And when he left that day, I said to him, So what, you going take me to
the ocean tomorrow and baptize me?
He goes, See, you got the program already.
And that's what happened?
Yup.
He took me to Pokai Bay.
We drove all the way down to the country, and blessed me.
And I've never looked back.
It was a good time.
All of that was a good time.
I don't say I regret it, 'cause I don't.
You know, it was part of me learning and part of my writing.
And I'm glad that time is pau.
You know.
Why are you glad it's pau?
Because I have my wife.
You know.
You've had a lot of health problems in the last two and a half years.
And you've been right there by his side.
It must be really challenging for both of you.
Yes, it is.
[CHUCKLE]
I went from zero doctors, to eight.
And my doctors kept telling me that if I kept up this stressful life I was
living, I would be dead by the end of the year.
And so, they made me change my diet.
They kept changing my medicines.
So, what's your outlook?
You know, you haven't played music, except as on a drop-in basis, I
think.
Not even.
Not even.
So, no music since you left the stage on May Day, 2014?
I play funerals.
You know, I'm still playing funerals.
I go in, and I do a few songs.
I kinda developed carpal tunnel.
So, I can't squeeze, you know, although, I hope to get better.
So, carpal tunnel.
Is it your heart?
ROLAND: Yeah; I have ... what?
LAUAE: Congestive heart.
ROLAND: Diabetes, you know.
LAUAE: All of the above.
ROLAND: All of the above.
You know.
And they all act on each other, I'm sure.
LAUAE: Yeah.
They all interact.
Your public image is, you're the bantering, smart aleck, funny half of the The Brothers
Cazimero.
And you were just giving your brother a hard time, and it was super-funny.
I knew what song was coming up, so I'd start hitting it; I'd start hitting it.
And then, you know, as soon as I knew he was gonna start singing, I start
strumming.
You learn that after years of playing.
You know, I love playing with my brother.
I told him once, I don't have to play with you, I love playing with you.
But if you want to go on and go do your halau, go right ahead, because I don't need you,
Robert.
I can go build a band.
And I have.
You know, I can go work with this, I can do this.
But I love playing with you.
I don't get that kick with anybody else in the world, that I do with you.
[SINGING - HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE]
But, you know, I'm still writing, I'm still in the recording business.
I have a lot of things that I want to record.
But you know that your main concern has to be your health; right?
That's your real business right now.
Yeah.
I have to take care of myself, and still record.
You know.
Otherwise, I'll just go back into the same spin.
And I don't like that spin.
I've been there long enough, you know, so I think the only thing I
want to spin is a record or something like that.
But for spinning in my life all the way to the cosmos and
goodbye.
You know.
No; the Lord has better things for me to do.
Mahalo to Roland Cazimero for your tremendous musical achievements.

Are you still a rebel, though?
'Cause bad boy and rebel are not necessarily the same thing.
I'm still a rebel.
You know.
I stand for Hawaii.
I stand for everybody to be treated right.
But I put away the bad boy that hung with the bad people.
You know.
Lot of people don't know that about me, but I did
hang around with the hoodlums.
And I don't regret it, because you know, there was a camaraderie there
that you can't put aside, you know.
At times when you needed it, you know, they'd come next to you,
and they stand up with you.
And if need be, they'd back you up.
You know.
In the world of entertainment, you know, I always tell people,
John DeMello took care of all the high makamakas, you
know, Robert and Ala take care of the middle ground and some of the high makamakas.
And I hung out with the hoodlums.
'Cause you know, you gotta respect them, too.

Fired Donald Trump Adviser Michael Flynn Might Have Broken The Law | The 11th Hour | MSNBC - Duration: 13:50.
GOOD EVENING ONCE AGAIN FROM OUR HEADQUARTERS HERE IN NEW YORK.
DAY 96 OF THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION AN IT'S ALL
TURNED BACK TO RUSSIA AGAIN AND MIKE FLYNN.
THE TOP DEMOCRAT AND THE TOP REPUBLICAN IN THE HOUSE
OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE SAY TRUMP'S FORMER NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER
MAY HAVE BROKEN THE LAW BY NOT DISCLOSING MONEY HE MADE FROM
RUSSIA AND TURKEY. HOW MUCH MONEY?
QUOTE, FLYNN RECEIVED $45,000 IN DECEMBER OF 2015 TO SPEAK AT A
RUSSIA TV EVENT. HE ALSO RECEIVED MORE THAN
$500,000 FOR LOBBYING FOR THE TURKISH GOVERNMENT.
BOTH CHAIRMAN JASON CHAFFETZ AND ELIJAH CUMMINGS TAUKDSAUKDS ABO
FLYNN WITH MSNBC TODAY. >> AS GENERAL FLYNN WAS REQUIRED
TO PROACTIVELY ASK PERMISSION PRIOR TO ENGAGING WITH RUSSIA
AND TURKEY. NOT ONLY WAS HE SUPPOSED TO ASK
FOR PERMISSION, HE WAS SUPPOSED TO GET PERMISSION AND HE DIDN'T.
AND SO THIS GOES BACK FOR, YOU KNOW, A YEAR PRIOR TO DONALD
TRUMP EVER BECOMING THE PRESIDENT.
SO IT'S NOT AS IF THE WHITE HOUSE ISN'T RESPONDING.
THERE JUST AREN'T DOCUMENTS AND THAT'S THE PROBLEM.
>> DO YOU THINK MICHAEL FLYNN BROKE THE LAW?
>> IT DOESN'T APPEAR AS IF HE COMPLIED WITH THE LAW.
I DON'T SEE EVIDENCE THAT HE COMPLIED WITH THE LAW.
>> THIS IS NOT SOME WITCH HUNT. THIS IS ABOUT A FIGHT FOR THE
SOUL OF OUR DEMOCRACY. AND I WANT TO BE REAL CLEAR ON
THAT. WHAT I'M TRYING TO DO IS MAKE
SURE THAT WE PURSUE THIS INVESTIGATION AND GO WHERE THE
EVIDENCE LEADS. OUR NEXT STEP IS TO HOPEFULLY
SIT DOWN WITH THE WHITE HOUSE AND EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT THEY
DON'T DETERMINE WHAT WE INVESTIGATE AS A CONGRESS, WE
DO. >> SEAN SPICER WAS ALSO PRESSED
ON THIS TODAY DURING THE WHITE HOUSE BRIEFING.
>> THE PRESIDENT FEEL THAT HE WAS MISLED BY GENERAL FLYNN?
>> I THINK THE PRESIDENT MADE A DECISION A WHILE AGO BECAUSE
FLYNN WAS NOT STRAIGHT WITH THE VICE PRESIDENT AT THE TIME AND
LET HIM GO. I THINK HE STANDS BY THAT
DECISION AND IT'S UP TO OTHERS TO REVIEW ALL OF THE INFORMATION
THAT'S COMING OUT. >> DOES HE NOW FEEL THAT HE ALSO
WASN'T STRAIGHT WITH HIM -- >> A LOT OF THE FACTS ARE STILL
COMING OUT. I KNOW THE PRESIDENT MADE A
DECISION A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, IT WAS THE RIGHT DECISION AND
WE'VE MOVED ON AND WE'LL CONTINUE TO STAY FOCUSED ON --
>> AT THE TIME HE MADE THE DECISION HE SAID THAT FLYNN WAS
A VICTIM OF A MEDIA WITCH ITCH SAID HE WAS A GOOD MAN.
DOES HE STILL FEEL THAT WAY? >> ALL OF THE FACTS ARE COMING
OUT ON THAT. I THINK HE MADE A DECISION A FEW
MONTHS AGO AND STANDS BY THAT DECISION.
>> ON THE SENATE SIDE, RICHARD BURR TALKED TO REPORTERS ON THE
HILL TODAY. WHILE HE WOULDN'T SAY WHETHER HE
THINKS MICHAEL FLYNN BROKE THE LAW, HE DID DISCUSS THE ISSUE OF
IMMUNITY. >> IS THERE ANY WAY YOU GIVE
FLYNN IMMUNITY TO TESTIFY? >> NO.
>> THERE'S NO WAY? >> NO.
>> WOULD SUBPOENA HIM TO -- >> ANYBODY WHO HAS AT LEAST BEEN
ASSOCIATED IN SOME WAY, SHAPE OR FORM THROUGH NEWS ARTICLES HAVE
WALKED IN THE DOOR VOLUNTEERING TO TESTIFY OR PUBLICLY SAID THEY
WOULD LOVE TO TESTIFY. I DON'T SEE THE NEED FOR ANY
TYPE OF SUBPOENA PROCESS. >> LET'S BRING IN TONIGHT'S
PANEL. THE DEPUTY NATIONAL SECURITY
ADVISER DURING THE GEORGE W. BUSH ADMINISTRATION, NOW HE'S
MSNBC'S SENIOR NATIONAL SECURITY ANALYST, FORMER CHIEF OF STAFF
AT THE PENTAGON AND THE CIA, JEREMY BASH, AND HOST OF NPR'S
INDIVISIBLE. JUAN AND JEREMY AND I HAVE
FILLED OUT THE PAPERWORK THAT YOU HAVE TO FILL OUT IF YOU ARE
GOING TO WORK IN THE WHITE HOUSE AND LOOK AT SECRET STUFF.
THIS IS THE REALLY, REALLY BIG. THERE'S A QUESTION I WANT TO PUT
ON THE SCREEN. BECAUSE IT SAYS DO YOU HAVE OR
HAVE YOU HAD CLOSE OR CONTINUING CONTACT WITH A FOREIGN NATIONAL
WITHIN THE LAST SEVEN YEARS. NOW THERE ARE ALSO QUESTIONS
ABOUT WHETHER YOU HAVE ANY FINANCIAL GAIN FROM ANY FOREIGN
POWER. JUAN, EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THE
WHITE HOUSE CAN'T PRODUCE THIS DOCUMENT THAT COULD HOLD OPEN A
VERY HEAVY DOOR. >> WELL I THINK THERE'S SOME --
SEVERAL ISSUES HERE AT PLAY, NOT ONLY WITH RESPECT TO GENERAL
FLYNN'S LEGAL LIABILITY BUT ALSO QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT CONTACT SHE
WAS HAVING PERHAPS EVEN ON BEHALF OF THE PRESIDENT OR THE
WHITE HOUSE. AND I THINK THAT'S WHERE YOU
HAVE SOME OF THE DEBATE AND DISCUSSION.
BECAUSE I THINK THERE HAVE BEEN REQUESTS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT
CONTACTS GENERAL FLYNN WAS HAVING ON BEHALF OF THEN
PRESIDENT-ELECT AND THEN ALSO TRUMP AS HE SERVED AS THE
NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER. BUT WITH RESPECT TO THE FORM
ITSELF, I CAN'T SPEAK FOR THE WHITE HOUSE.
I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY AREN'T PRODUCING IT.
I'M SURE THEY WILL HAVE TO AT SOME POINT TO THE COMMITTEES
INVESTIGATING THIS. AND NO DOUBT THIS IS GOING TO BE
FURTHER SUBJECT OF CONSIDERATION, GIVEN THE FACT
THAT'S A PRETTY CLEAR QUESTION. BUT IT COULD BE THAT THERE WAS
CONFUSION ON THE PART OF GENERAL FLYNN, WHO KNOWS.
BUT AT THIS POINT -- >> CONFUSION.
I FILLED THIS FORM OUT TWICE. I WENT TO WORK IN THE WHITE
HOUSE AND THEN I GOT MARRIED AND WENT BACK TO THE WHITE HOUSE.
ON MY HONEYMOON I WENT TO TURKEY AND BOUGHT A RUG.
I REMEMBER HAVING A DISCUSSION ABOUT WHETHER THAT CONSTITUTED
ANY SORT OF CONTACT WITH A FOREIGN AGENT.
PEOPLE WHO WORK IN THE GOVERNMENT TAKE THESE FORMS
SERIOUSLY AND YOU'RE INTERVIEWED BY FBI AGENTS AFTERWARD.
HOW DID MICHAEL FLYNN GET THE NEEDED SECURITY CLEARANCES TO BE
PRESENT IN DONALD TRUMP'S BRIEFINGS DURING THE TRANSITION
WITHOUT HAVING A CURRENT AND ACCURATE BACKGROUND CHECK FORM
ON FILE? >> WELL, NICOLE, YOU'RE
IMMINENTLY CORRECT. THIS IS A HUGE RED FLAG.
IT'S NOT THE ONLY TIME WE'VE HAD RED FLAGS REGARDING GENERAL
FLYNN. FIRST HE FAILED TO DISCLOSE THE
INFORMATION ON HIS CLEARANCE FORM.
HE FAILED TO DISCLOSE THIS ON HIS ETHICS FORM, HIS OGE 278
FORM. HE FAILED TO DISCLOSE HIS WORK
UNDER THE FOREIGN AGENT'S
REGISTRATION ACT ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT OF TURKEY.
THAT IS TLE FORMS THAT WERE INCOMPLETE, SLOPPILY FILLED OUT
OR PURPOSELY INCORRECT. AND THEN OF COURSE HE FAILED TO
COMPLY WITH THE CONSTITUTIONAL AND POLICY REQUIREMENT TO GO
BACK TO THE DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY, BACK TO THE PENTAGON AND
SEEK TO OBTAIN PAYMENTS FROM A FOREIGN GOVERNMENT WHICH EVERY
SINGLE MILITARY GENERAL OFFICER, EVEN PEOPLE I WORK WITH HAVE TO
DO ALL OF THE TIME. SO WHEN YOU'RE FOUR FOR FOUR IT
REALLY STRAINS KRA DUALITY TO SAY HE WAS JUST SLOPPY.
>> I WANT TO GET YOU BACK IN ON THIS, JUAN.
YOU HAVE DEEP TIE TO THIS ADMINISTRATION'S SECURITY
OFFICIALS. AND I KNOW YOU WERE AN INFORMAL
OR FORMAL ADVISER DURING THE TRANSITION.
I DON'T WANT TO GET THAT WRONG. >> FORMAL, TO DIRECTOR POMPEO AT
THE CIA. WHAT CONCERNS DID YOU HEAR ABOUT
GENERAL FLYNN, IF ANY? >> WELL I DON'T THINK I CAN
SPEAK TO ANYTHING I WAS HEARING DURING THAT TIME PERIOD, NICOLE.
I'M SORRY ABOUT THAT. BUT I THINK CERTAINLY THERE WERE
QUESTIONS ABOUT GENERAL FLYNN IN TERMS OF HIS CAPACITY IN THAT
ROLE. KEEP IN MIND HE WAS A VERY
SUCCESSFUL MILITARY INTELLIGENCE OFFICER.
BUT HAD NOT SERVED IN A POLICY ROLE AND CERTAINLY HAD NOT BEEN
AT THOSE LEVELS AND CERTAINLY NOT WORKED IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
THERE WERE QUESTIONS AND IN GENERAL IN THE POLICY COMMUNITY
ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT HE WAS READY FOR THIS ROLE.
KEEP IN MIND AS WELL, THIS MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE
FORMS. HE HAD JUST RECENTLY RETIRED OR
BEEN ASKED TO LEAVE AS HEAD OF THE DEFENSE INTELLIGENCE AGENCY.
HE THEN TOOK ON PRIVATE PRACTICE AND THENN RETURNED BACK FAIRLY
QUICKLY THEREAFTER. IT'S IN THAT PERIOD WHERE HE WAS
ENGAGED IN ALL OF THESE ACTIVITIES THAT HE'S GOTTEN INTO
TROUBLE WITH. AND IT MAY BE THAT HE WAS NOT
PREPARED TO RETURN PROPERLY AND HAD NOT CHECKED NOT ONLY ALL OF
THE FORMS PROPERLY BUT HAD NOT THOUGHT THROUGH THE CONSEQUENCES
OF WHAT HE WOULD HAVE TO DO TO ASSUME THE ROLE OF THE NATIONAL
SECURITY ADVISER. I THINK THERE WERE QUESTIONS AS
TO WHETHER OR NOT HE WAS PREPARED.
THERE MAY BE A QUESTION NOW AS TO WHETHER OR NOT HE WAS, YOU
KNOW, PREPARING PROPERLY WITH ALL OF HIS PAPERWORK AND
CERTAINLY THINKING THROUGH THE DUE DILIGENCE THAT'S REQUIRED TO
ASSUME THIS KIND OF A ROLE AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF THE U.S.
GOVERNMENT. >> JUAN, THIS IS SOMETHING I
HEARD FROM GENERAL HAYDEN AS WELL ABOUT WHETHER HE WAS
PROPERLY SUITED, WHETHER HE HAD THE PROPER PROFILE IN TERMS OF
EXPERIENCE AND TEMPERAMENT. BUT I THINK THIS GOES DEEPER
THAN JUST NOT FILLING OUT FORMS PROPERLY AND NOT BEING PREPARED.
DO YOU THINK HE LIED ON THESE FORMS?
>> I HAVE NO IDEA, NICOLE. IT'S HARD TO TELL.
AGAIN, I THINK JEREMY IS RIGHT THAT THERE'S A NUMBER OF
INSTANCES WHERE HE'S AVOIDED PROVIDING COMPLETE INFORMATION
BOTH INSIDE THE WHITE HOUSE AS WELL AS APPARENTLY ON THESE
FORMS. IT LOOKS SUSPICIOUS.
AND THE PROBLEM HERE, OF COURSE, IS PERCEPTION BECOMES REALITY.
PERCEPTION OF WHETHER HE WAS EVADING, PERCEPTION OF WHETHER
THERE WAS POTENTIAL COLLUSION, PERCEPTION OF WHETHER OR NOT HE
WAS PROMISING THINGS TO THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT BEFORE HE HAD
AUTHORITY TO DO SO. ALL OF THIS IS PROBLEMATIC
REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT HE WAS ACTUALLY INTENTIONALLY
EVADING OR LYING. I CAN'T PEER INTO HIS SOUL AND
THAT'S CERTAINLY WHAT INVESTIGATES MAY BE LOOKING AT.
THE PERCEPTION IS DAMNING AND THAT'S WHY WE'RE HAVING THE
CONVERSATION. >> JEREMY, I'M GOING TO ASK YOU
TO DO SOME SOUL PEERING IN A MOMENT.
LISTEN TO SEAN SPICER'S RESPONSE WHEN HE WAS ASKED ABOUT THE
MONEY FLYNN GOT FROM RUSSIAN TV TODAY.
>> DOES THE WHITE HOUSE CONSIDER MIKE FLYNN'S PAYMENT FROM RUSSIA
TODAY TO BE A PAYMENT FROM A FOREIGN GOVERNMENT?
>> I DON'T KNOW. ALL OF THAT OCCURRED PRIOR TO
HIS SERVICE. >> DOES THIS WHITE HOUSE
CONSIDER A PAYMENT FROM RUSSIA TODAY TO BE A PAYMENT FROM A
FOREIGN GOVERNMENT? >> WHAT I'M SAYING IS EVERYTHING
HE DID WAS PRIOR TO COMING TO THIS WHITE HOUSE.
>> RIGHT. >> FOR US TO DETERMINE SOMEONE
ELSE -- >> DO YOU CONSIDER THAT TO BE A
PAYMENT FROM A FOREIGN GOVERNMENT?
>> I'M SORRY, WHAT? >> IF SOMEONE TOOK MONEY FROM
RUSSIA TODAY -- >> IF THEY WERE AN EMPLOYEE OF
THE WHITE HOUSE, ABSOLUTELY. >> JEREMY, DO WE HAVE A PROBLEM
HERE? >> YEAH.
I MEAN RUSSIA TODAY IS BASICALLY THE STATE PROPAGANDA ARM OF THE
RUSSIAN FEDERATION. AND THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY
ON JANUARY 5th WHEN THEY ISSUED HAIR ASSESSMENT THAT R RUSSIA
MEDDLED IN THE ELECTION AND FAVORED DONALD TRUMP, THEY CITED
RUSSIA AS THE TIP OF THE SPEAR OF THE ATTACK IN THE DEMOCRACY.
IS THERE'S NO GETTING AROUND THIS.
THIS WAS COLLUSION BETWEEN THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT AND AT LEAST
ONE MEMBER OF THE TRUMP INNER CIRCLE TO GET PAID FOR THIS
ACTION AND THEN OF COURSE THE ACTION AND THE PAYMENT WASN'T
DISCLOSED. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT
INVESTIGATORS WILL HAVE TO FOLLOW UP WITH.
>> WHAT'S YOUR SENSE OF HOW THIS TEAM IS DOING IN TERMS OF
GETTING ANYWHERE CLOSE TO A PLACE THAT'S ANYWHERE CLOSE TO A
PLACE THAT ALLOWS THEM TO TURN THE CORNER ON THE RUSSIAN STORY?
>> NOW YOU HAVE FLYNN OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE SO ONE COULD ASK WHY
NOT TURN OVER WHATEVER PAPERWORK YOU HAVE.
YOU'VE CUT TIES WITH THIS PERSON.
WHY NOT SAY HERE YOU GO, HE'S NOT WORKING FOR US ANYWHERE,
HAVE AT IT. WITH THE PRESIDENT DOING WHAT
HE'S DOING, WITH SEAN SPICER DOING WHAT HE'S DOING, HE'S
LEADING TO THE CONVERSATIONS THAT WE'RE HAVING.
NO ONE HAD THE PRESIDENT'S EAR ON FOREIGN POLICY THROUGHOUT THE
CAMPAIGN AND THE EARLY PART OF THIS ADMINISTRATION THAN MICHAEL
FLYNN HIMSELF. AT THE VERY LEAST THERE WAS A
CONFLICT OF INTEREST WITH AREAS OF TURKEY AND RUSSIA WITH THE
PAYMENTS. DID THE ADMINISTRATION, DID THE
PRESIDENT KNOW -- WE ALSO KNOW THAT MICHAEL FLYNN OUT OF ALL OF
THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE PART OF THE ADMINISTRATION SHOULD HAVE
KNOWN BETTER. THIS IS HIS SECOND
ADMINISTRATION. THE SECOND ONE HE'S BEEN FIRED
FROM AS WELL. >> CHARLIE, LET ME ASK YOU
DIRECTLY. MIKE.
FLYNN WAS SOMEONE WHO MADE DEMOCRATS ANXIOUS FOR A WHOLE
LOT OF REASONS, HIS TEMPERAMENT, POLICY INSTINCTS, WHAT NOT, BUT
HE ALSO MADE REPUBLICANS UNCOMFORTABLE FOR THE QUESTIONS
THAT EMERGED VERY EARLY ON ABOUT POSSIBLE ETHICS.
WHAT'S YOUR SENSE OF THE PARTY'S TOLERANCE FOR THIS STORY
DRAGGING ON AND ON. >> IT IS GOING TO DRAG ON AN ON.
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF INNOCENT EXPLANATIONS FOR THIS, NONE OF
WHICH IS PLAUSIBLE. AND THE WHITE HOUSE'S REFUSING
TO BE TRANSPARENT IS COMPOUNDING THE PROBLEM.
WHEN HE WAS FIRED, THE STORY NEVER ADDED UP IN THE FIRST
PLACE, THE FACT SHE WAS HAVING A CONVERSATION THAT DONALD TRUMP
SAYS I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH HIM HAVING THAT
CONVERSATION AND YET HE LIED. AGAIN WHY WOULD YOU LIE ABOUT
SOMETHING THAT DIDN'T -- SO THE QUESTION IS WHAT DID THE WHITE
HOUSE KNOW THAT GENERAL FLYNN WAS UP TO AND WHEN DID THEY KNOW
IT. THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT THE
STORY AS IT KEEPS UNRAVELING THAT RAISES MORE AND MORE
QUESTIONS. SO AGAIN, YOU GO BACK TO THIS
TRANSITION WHICH WAS A CHALLENGED TRANSITION.
THIS WAS PROBABLY ONE OF THE WORST SELECTIONS AND I THINK IT
REFLECTS VERY VERY POORLY ON DONALD TRUMP'S JUDGMENT AND OF
THE JUDGMENT OF THE ADMINISTRATION.
>> AND YOU SEE SEAN SPICER NOW TRYING TO DISTANCE MICHAEL FLYNN
FROM THE ADMINISTRATION. NO, HE WAS THE GUY.
HE WAS THE FOREIGN POLICY GUY. HIS NAME WAS FLOATED AS A

Glenn Beck: Sexual Harassment Is "Male Disease" - Duration: 7:20.
GLENN BECK RECENTLY OPENED UP ABOUT WHAT HE PERSONALLY
EXPERIENCED AT FOX NEWS, AND HIS THOUGHTS ON THE SEXUAL
HARASSMENT ALLEGATIONS THAT HAVE DESTROYED THE CAREERS OF
ROGER AILES AND BILL O'REILLY.
HE COMES AT IT FROM AN INTERESTING PERSPECTIVE.
HE IMMEDIATELY MAKES IT AN IDEOLOGICAL WAR, WHEN IN REALITY
NO ONE EVEN BROUGHT UP, HEY CONSERVATIVE GUYS ARE WORSE THAN
LIBERAL GUYS WHEN IT COMES TO SEXUAL HARASSMENT, BUT HE
MADE ABOUT THAT.
HE SAYS, "I DON'T KNOW IF THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED AT CNN,
OR MSNBC OR THE NEW YORK TIMES.
WOULDN'T IT BE INTERESTING TO SEE, BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A
CONSERVATIVE DISEASE, IT'S NOT A FOX DISEASE, IT'S A MALE
DISEASE."
NOW THAT HE'S OPENED THE DOOR TO THE CONVERSATION, LET'S
WALK ON IT.
I WOULD LARGELY DISAGREE WITH THAT STATEMENT, AND I'LL
EXPLAIN WHY.
NOW, IS IT THAT ALL MALES HAVE DIFFERENT IDEOLOGIES ñ
WAS THERE SEXUAL HARASSMENT?
OF COURSE, A GUY NAMED BILL CLINTON.
LET ALONE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF OTHER EXAMPLES.
SO OF COURSE WE UNDERSTAND THAT IT'S NOT JUST CONSERVATIVES
THAT DO IT.
WE ARE WAY MORE OPEN-MINDED THAN THOSE GUYS ARE WHEN THEY BLAME
LIBERAL VALUES ON SONY DIFFERENT INSANE THINGS AND PROBLEMS IN
THE COUNTRY, BUT WAS IT A FOX DISEASE?
WELL IT ACTUALLY WAS, BECAUSE THE LEADER OF FOX NEWS WAS ROGER
AILES, AND SINCE HE HAD BEEN DOING SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF
HARLEY FOR DECADES, ACCORDING TO THE ALLEGATIONS, ALLEGATIONS
THAT WERE GOOD ENOUGH SO THAT HE GOT FIRED, HE PROTECTED THE
PEOPLE THAT WERE DOING SEXUAL HARASSMENT AT FOX NEWS, AND THEY
PAID OUT SETTLEMENTS, AND IT BECAME SYSTEMIC BECAUSE OF
THE LEADER AT THAT ORGANIZATION.
SO IT WAS SPECIFICALLY A FOX DISEASE IN THIS CASE.
IN TERMS OF WHETHER CONSERVATIVES DO IT MORE,
WELL THEY DO FOSTER AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE THEY SAY
IT'S NOT AS BIG A DEAL.
NOW, PROGRESSIVES THINK IT'S A GIANT DEAL.
THAT IT'S SOMETHING YOU SHOULD LOOK OUT FOR, AND SOMETHING WE
SHOULD BE COGNIZANT OF, ETC., BUT HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE HEARD
ON FOX NEWS, INCLUDING FROM FEMALE HOSTS ON FOX NEWS, THEY
ARE OVERPLAYING IT, IT'S A WAR ON MEN, ETC.?
SO, YEAH, CONSERVATIVES DO HAVE A BOYS WILL BE BOYS
ATTITUDE, WHICH IS A THROWBACK HIM UP BECAUSE THEY ARE
CONSERVATIVES, AND IN THE OLD DAYS THERE WAS MUCH MORE
RAPID SEXUAL HARASSMENT.
I HAVE SOME EVIDENCE TO BACK UP YOUR CLAIM.
WE'VE BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR A LONG TIME, I'VE BEEN HERE FOR
10 YEARS, WE'VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE LIKE GLENN
BECK FOR A LONG TIME.
I REMEMBER SEGMENTS WHERE HE HAS MINIMIZED ALLEGATIONS OF SEXUAL
ASSAULT, OR RAPE.
WHERE HE HAS SIGNED OFF ON RIDICULOUS SKITS THAT MAKE ñ
THAT MAKE FUN OF WOMEN THAT HAVE BEEN RAPED ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES,
AND I HAVE AN EXAMPLE THAT I WANT TO SHOW YOU OF THAT IN
A MINUTE.
SO HE GOES ON FOR YEARS AND YEARS ABOUT HOW WOMEN LIVE,
SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND SEXUAL ASSAULT ISN'T REALLY A
THING, THEY ARE LOOKING TO CASH OUT, IT'S A WITCH HUNT,
WHEN NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S A MALE DISEASE.
IT'S NOT A CONSERVATIVE DISEASE OR A LIBERAL DISEASE ñ WHICH, BY
THE WAY, I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF I WANT TO SAY IT'S A MALE DISEASE.
GUYS DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT SEXUAL HARASSMENT IS, OR THEY DO
AND BECAUSE THEY THINK ñ BECAUSE THEY HAVE SOME POWER, THEY
THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT.
THAT'S WHAT FOX NEWS DID.
IN TERMS OF CONSERVATIVES THOUGH, THESE ARE THE TYPES
OF REACTIONS THEY HAVE TO RAPE ALLEGATIONS.
THIS WAS ON THE BLAZE, DURING A SEGMENT THAT GLENN BECK
SIGNED OFF ON.
THERE WAS A SURVEY DONE THAT BASICALLY FOUND THAT A LOT OF
WOMEN ARE EITHER VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT, RAPE, OR SEXUAL
COERCION, WHICH IS NOT THE SAME AS RAPE.
LOOK AT THE WAY THEY HANDLED THAT STUDY IN THIS SKIT.
THEY DECIDED TO MAKE FUN OF WOMEN, AND I'LL LET YOU WATCH.
TAKE A LOOK.
YOU SHOULD HAVE SEX WITH ME.
I'M GOING TO BE ON THE COVER OF THE ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH
CATALOG THIS MONTH.
OKAY.
WHOA WHOA WHOA, STOP.
THAT'S RAPE.
PRESSURING SOMEONE TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU BY TELLING THEM LIES IS
THE SAME AS RAPE.
YOU SHOULD HAVE SEX WITH ME, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AND I
WILL NEVER LOOK AT ANOTHER, EVER.
OKAY.
WHOA WHOA WHOA, HOLD ON, THAT'S RAPE.
MAKING PROMISES ABOUT THE FUTURE THAT YOU KNOW ARE UNTRUE TO GET
SEX ARE THE SAME AS RAPE.
YOU SHOULD HAVE SEX WITH ME OR I WILL BREAK UP WITH YOU.
OKAY.
WHOA, STOP STOP STOP.
THAT'S RAPE.
THREATENING TO END YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO GET SEX IS THE
SAME AS RAPE.
YOU SHOULD HAVE SEX WITH ME OR I'LL TELL EVERYONE YOU HAD SEX
WITH ME.
OKAY.
STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP, THAT'S RAPE.
THREATENING TO SPREAD RUMORS TO HAVE SEX IS THE SAME HAS RAPE.
WILL YOU HAVE SEX WITH ME?
HOW ABOUT NOW?
GUESS WHAT?
THAT'S RAPE!
SO THEY CAN CLEARLY MISCONSTRUE WHAT THE SURVEY SAID, AND THE
PEOPLE BEHIND THIS RESEARCH NEVER SAID THAT THOSE THINGS ARE
RAPE.
NEVER ONCE SAID THOSE THINGS ARE RAPE.
THEY DID REFER TO THOSE THINGS AS SEXUAL COERCION.
SO IF YOU GO TO SOMEONE AND SAY I'M GOING TO RELEASE THESE
PICTURES UNLESS YOU HAVE SEX WITH ME AGAIN, THAT'S COERCION.
YOU HAVE TO HAVE SEX WITH ME OR ELSE I'M GLAD TO LET EVERYONE
KNOW YOU'VE BEEN SLEEPING WITH ME, THAT'S COERCION.
THEY DON'T GET THAT, OR THEY DO GET IT, BUT THEY JUST WANT TO
SAY DEFAMATORY THINGS ABOUT THE RESEARCH THAT'S BEEN DONE,
AND TO MAKE IT SEEM AS THOUGH WOMEN ARE JUST A JOKE.
SO, GLENN BECK, YOU ARE PART OF THE MALE DISEASE.
IS MORE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT YOU HARBOR AND SUPPORT.
YOU ARE PRAYING THE LEAD THERE, THAT'S THE WORST SKID I'VE
EVER SEEN.
I LOVE HOW FUNNY THEY THINK THEY ARE.
AND THEN I'LL JUMP IN WITH A BIG RAPE SIGN, THIS IS SO GOOD, AND
THEN YOU'LL DRESS UP LIKE A GIRL BECAUSE YOU KIND OF WANT TO,
EVEN THOUGH WE TALKED AGAINST PEOPLE LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME.
AND THAT'S THEIR VERSION OF A GIRL.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
WHY DO YOU THINK WE ARE SEXIST?
WE THINK WOMEN DO THIS.
OKAY.
AND AS ANA POINTED OUT, THEY COMPLETELY LIED ABOUT WHAT THE
STUDY SAID.
WITH YOU CONSIDER IT SEXUAL COERCION IS A DEBATE WE'VE HAD
ON THE YOUNG TURKS, BUT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO BE HONEST
ABOUT WHAT THE STUDY SAYS.
AND WHY DID THEY DO THAT?
THEY DO THAT BECAUSE THEY WANT TO MINIMIZE RAPE.
THAT'S THE POINT.

Russia Behind Mike Flynn's Work For Turkey: Report | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC - Duration: 23:48.
I GET A LITTLE JEALOUS. I DO.
ALL RIGHT. THE LAST CZAR OF RUSSIA CAME TO
POWER 1894. HE WAS FORCED TO ABDICATE THE
THRONE ABOUT TWO DECADES LATER, THE BOLSHEVIK REVOLUTION.
1917, THE RUSSIAN REVOLUTION. WE'RE NOW A CENTURY ON FROM
THAT. BUT AS IT HAPPENED, IN 1917, THE
CZAR AND HIS FAMILY WERE SCARED OFF THE THRONE THAT YEAR.
BUT THEN THE REVOLUTIONARIES DIDN'T KILL THEM RIGHT AWAY.
THEY KEPT THEM ALIVE FOR A WHILE.
THEY KEPT THEM FIRST IN ONE OF THE RUSSIAN ROYAL PALACES JUST
SOUTH OF ST. PETERSBURG. EVENTUALLY THEY MOVED THE CZAR
AND HIS FAMILY TO ANOTHER ROYAL RESIDENCE IN YAKATARINBURG, NOW
THE FOURTH LARGEST CITY IN RUSSIA.
IN THE SUMMER OF 1918, THE RUSSIAN REVOLUTIONARIES,
FIGHTERS HOLDING THE CZAR AND HIS FAMILY IN THIS RESIDENCE,
THEY WERE WORRIED THAT THE COUNTERREVOLUTIONARIES, THAT THE
LOYALISTS OF THE CZAR'S FAMILIARLY WERE CLOSING IN ON
YAKATARINBURG. THEY WERE WORRIED THE CZAR AND
HIS FAMILY MAY SOMEHOW BE RESCUED BY THOSE
COUNTERREVOLUTIONARY FORCES. THEY WERE WORRIED THE REVOLUTION
WOULD BE OVER, THE MONARCHY WOULD BE RESTOERD AND THE PEOPLE
HOLDING THE CZAR AND HIS FAMILY KIND OF FREAKED OUT.
THEY HELD A SECRET MEETING AND APPARENTLY TOOK A VOTE AND
DECIDED TO IMPOSE WHAT AMOUNTED TO AN EXTRAJUDICIAL DEATH
SENTENCE ON THE CZAR, BUT ALSO ON HIS ENTIRE FAMILY.
ON THE NIGHT OF JULY 16th, 1918, THEY PUT THE CZAR AND HIS WIFE
AND THEIR KIDS AND EVEN THEIR SERVANTS, PUT THEM ALL IN THE
BASEMENT OF THE HOUSE WHERE THEY'D BEEN HOLDING THEM, AND
THEY SHOT ALL OF THEM. THEY KILLED THE WHOLE ROYAL
FAMILY AND THE SERVANTS WHO WORKED FOR THEM.
OF DHOIRKS SOVIET UNION IS WHAT ROSE FROM THE 1917 REVOLUTION
BUT THE CZAR AND THE RUSSIAN MONARCHY STILL HAD ITS FANS,
EVEN IN SOVIET DAYS. AND IT WAS A CONSTANT SOURCE OF
WORRYING AND EVEN DISTRESS FOR THE SOVIET UNION, FOR THE
COMMUNIST PARTY DURING SOVIET DAYS THAT THE SITE WAS A
CONSTANT SOURCE OF WORRY FOR THE COMMUNIST PARTY THAT THAT SITE
IN THAT RUSSIAN CITY HAD BECOME A PLACE OF REVERENCE.
IT WASN'T FORMALLY A MEMORIAL OF ANY KIND BUT IT BECAME A
PILGRIMAGE SITE WHERE PEOPLE WOULD COME TO REMEMBER WHAT
HAPPENED TO LAMENT WHAT HAPPENED.
AS THE SOVIET UNION AND COMMUNIST PARTY GOT ANNOYED BY
AND WORRIED ABOUT THAT, LOCAL OFFICIALS IN AND AROUND
YAKATARINBURG CAME UNDER PRESSURE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT
IT. HE WAS RELUCTANT TO DO IT AND
DIDN'T REALLY WANT TO DO IT, BUT IN 1977, A LOCAL LEADER IN
YEKATERINBURG, A LOCAL LEADER NAMED BORIS YELTSIN DID WHAT THE
PARTY IN MOSCOW TOLD HIM TO DO. HE BULLDOZED THE HOUSE.
HE BULLDOZED THATS NOW YEKATERINBURG WHERE THE CZAR AND
HIS FAMILY AND SERVANTS WERE MACHINE GUNNED IN THE BASEMENT.
THEY RIPPED IT ALL DOWN. DESTROYED IT AS A SITE.
BORIS YELTSIN WOULD LATER GO ON TO BECOME THE FIRST POST-SOVIET
LEADER OF THE NEW RUSSIA AFTER THE COLLAPSE OF THE SOVIET
UNION. AND HE HAD LONG SAID THAT HE
REGRETTED THAT DECISION BACK IN YEKATERINBURG.
IT WEIGHED ON HIM OVER THE YEARS.
HE REGRETTED IT. ONCE HE BECAME PRESIDENT OF
RUSSIA, HE RECTIFIED THAT DECISION.
YOU CAN'T UNBULLDOZE ANYTHING. YOU CAN'T REBUILD WHAT HAS BEEN
DESTROYED. YOU CAN'T RE-CREATE HISTORY.
BUT IN 1998, BORIS YELTSIN, THEN AS PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA, G GAVE
CZAR NICHOLAS II AND HIS FAMILY A FUNERAL.
GAVE THEM A PROPER RELIGIOUS FUNERAL.
AND THEN WITHIN A COUPLE YEARS, THEY STARTED CONSTRUCTION ON A
FAIRLY GRAND CHURCH ON SITE WHERE THE FAMILY HAD BEEN
MURDERED, WHERE YELTSIN HAD PREVIOUSLY ORDERED THE HOUSE TO
BE DESTROYED. THIS STARTED THE WORK ON THAT
CHURCH IN 2000. IT WAS COMPLETED BY 2003.
EVEN TODAY IF YOU GOOGLE PICTURES OF YEKATERINBURG, WHAT
POPS UP ARE PICTURES OF THAT CHURCH.
IT'S VERY GRAND. IT'S COVERED IN GOLD DOMES,
GIANT ORTHODOX CROSSES. AND BECAUSE IT'S RUSSIA, IT HAS
A FITTINGLY DRAMATIC RUSSIAN NAME.
IT'S CALLED THE CATHEDRAL ON THE BLOOD.
SO YEKATERINBURG IS AN INTERESTING PLACE.
THE BIGGEST DRAW IS THE CATHEDRAL ON THE BLOOD.
THAT SUPER DRAMATIC HISTORY. THE FOURTH LARGEST CITY IN
RUSSIA AFTER MOSCOW AND ST. PETERSBURG AND NOVOSBURSK.
IT'S TECHNICALLY IN SIBERIA, ALTHOUGH THEY DON'T LIKE YOU TO
SAY THAT. THEY DON'T WANT TO SOUND THAT
REMOTE. DON'T SAY SIBERIA.
FOR AMERICANS RIGHT NOW, YEKATERINBURG HAS TURNED OUT TO
BE OF INTEREST BECAUSE IT'S HOME TO THE MAN WHO CLAIMS TO BE THE
REPRESENTATIVE OF THEREPUBLIC OF CALIFORNIA TO RUSSIA.
THERE IS NO REPUBLIC OF CALIFORNIA.
THERE'S A STATE OF CALIFORNIA. IT'S PART OF A LARGER COUNTRY
YOU MIGHT HAVE HEARD OF CALLED THE UNITED STATES.
BUT RUSSIA HAS A LITTLE GLEAM IN ITS EYE THAT IF THEY PLAY THEIR
CARDS RIGHT, MAYBE SOME DAY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA MIGHT
BE SLIGHTLY LESS UNITED AND SPECIFICALLY, IT MIGHT LOOK MORE
LIKE THIS. RUSSIA HAS A LITTLE GLEAM IN ITS
EYE ABOUT THE IDEA THAT THE UNITED STATES MIGHT SOMEHOW HIVE
ITSELF OFF FROM A STATE THAT REPRESENTS THE SIXTH LARGEST
ECONOMY IN THE WORLD. VLADIMIR PUTIN IS THE FOUNDING
PATRON OF THE GENERIC SOUNDING GROUP CALLED THE NATIONAL
CHARITY FOUNDATION IN RUSSIA. PUTIN'S NATIONAL CHARITY
FOUNDATION FUNDS THE ANTI-GLOBALIST MOVEMENT OF
RUSSIA. AND SOME OF THE THINGS THE
ANTI-GLOBALIST MOVEMENT OF RUSSIA DOES FLASH LIKE RED
BEACON DANGER, DANGER FROM AN AMERICAN PERSPECTIVE.
FOR EXAMPLE, THE ANTI-GLOBALIST MOVEMENT IN RUSSIA NAMED BASHAR
AL ASSAD TO BE ONE OF THEIR HONORARY MEMBERS.
OKAY. THEY ALSO NAMED MAHMOUD
AHMADINEJAD FROM IRAN. THEY NAMED HIM TO BE AN HONORARY
MEMBER. THOSE ARE THE KINDS OF THINGS
THE ANTI-GLOBALIST MOVEMENT OF RUSSIA DOES THAT DON'T SIT WELL
WITH AN AMERICAN AUDIENCE. BUT THEY ALSO DO STUFF THAT' TH
DESIGNED TO SEEM MORE BENIGN OR MAYBE EVEN QUIRKY AND
INTRIGUING. THAT SAME GROUP, THE
ANTI-GLOBALIST MOVEMENT OF RUSSIA RECENTLY LAST YEAR FUNDED
SOMETHING CALLED THE DIALOGUE OF NATIONS.
IT WAS A CONFERENCE HOSTED IN MOSCOW LAST YEAR.
AND AT THAT CONFERENCE THEY PUT DOWN ALL THE SUPPORTING ASSAD,
SUPPORTING AHMADINEJAD STUFF TO INSTEAD HOST THIS QUIRKY GOOD
NATURED ASSEMBLAGE OF MINI NATIONALIST GROUPS.
MINI INDEPENDENCE MOVEMENTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD.
AND ONE OF THE GROUPS THEY HOSTED AT THEIR DIALOGUE OF
NATIONS GROUP WAS, YES, CALIFORNIA.
YES, CALIFORNIA. YOU HEARD ABOUT THIS AFTER THE
ELECTION. THEY GOT A LITTLE FLURRY OF
ATTENTION AFTER OUR PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.
CALIFORNIA'S LEGISLATURE WAS GETTING A LOT OF ATTENTION FOR
HOW THAT STATE MIGHT TAKE AN AGGRESSIVE, STRATEGIC APPROACH
TO OUTFLANK THE NEW TRUMP ADMINISTRATION ON POLICY STUFF,
PARTICULARLY ON IMMIGRATION. BUT BEYOND THAT, THERE WERE ALSO
THESE ALMOST HUMAN INTEREST POLITICS STORY ABOUT CALIFORNIA
SECEDING. THIS NEW TECH SAVVY SLICK, KIND
OF APPEALING, VAGUELY LIBERAL SOUNDING YES CALIFORNIA
MOVEMENT. THAT WAS CALLING FOR CALIFORNIA
TO NOT JUST RESIST THE U.S. GOVERNMENT UNDER TRUMP BUT FOR
CALIFORNIA TO BECOME ITS OWN COUNTRY.
AND, IN FACT, YES CALIFORNIA SUBMITTED LANGUAGE TO THE
CALIFORNIA SECRETARY OF STATE SO THEY COULD START COLLECTING
SIGNATURES TO GET CALIFORNIA SECESSION ON THE BALLOT FOR THE
MIDTERMS FOR NOVEMBER 2018. THEY MADE YES CALIFORNIA
T-SHIRTS. THEY STARTED GETTING MORE AND
MORE MEDIA ATTENTION. MORE AND MORE SOCIAL MEDIA
ATTENTION. MORE AND MORE SIGN-UPS ON THEIR
WEBSITE. THEN IT GOT WEIRD.
OUR ELECTION WAS NOVEMBER. IN DECEMBER, THIS HAPPENED.
THEY OPENED UP AN EMBASSY FOR THE REPUBLIC OF CALIFORNIA.
SEE WHAT IT SAYS RIGHT THERE UNDER THE WORD CALIFORNIA?
AN EMBASSY FOR THE REPUBLIC OF CALIFORNIA IN MOSCOW.
NOW THEY INTERCHANGEABLY CALLED IT AN EMBASSY OR PEOPLE'S
EMBASSY OR CULTURE CENTER. BUT THEY TOOK THEMSELVES VERY
SERIOUSLY ABOUT IT. THEY PUT OUT THIS STATEMENT.
"TOGETHER WITH OUR PARTNERS AT THE ANTI-GLOBALIZATION MOVEMENT
OF RUSSIA, OUR FIRST CULTURE CENTER WAS OPENED AT THE
FOLLOWING ADDRESS." AND THEY GIVE YOU THAT ADDRESAD.
IF YOU LOOK IT UP ON GOOGLE EARTH IT'S NOT A SCENIC PLACE
BUT IT IS A REAL PLACE. REALLY IN MOSCOW.
THEY ALSO WENT ON TO GIVE SOME ODD ASSURANCES THAT YOU THINK
THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO REASSURE PEOPLE ABOUT.
LIKE THIS. QUOTE, CONTRARY TO SOME REPORTS,
THE CALIFORNIA CULTURE CENTER AND PEOPLE'S EMBASSY IN MOSCOW
DOES NOT SERVE ANY DIPLOMATIC FUNCTION AT THIS TIME.
OUR OFFICE MAKES CLEAR THAT RUSSIANS PLANNING TO CALIFORNIA
MUST FIRST OBTAIN A VISA THROUGH THE AMERICAN EMBASSY IN MOSCOW
OR ONE OF THEIR CONSULATES. THEY ALSO WANT TO MAKE CLEAR
THEY'RE NOT INSISTING THAT CALIFORNIA SHOULD JOIN THE
RUSSIAN FEDERATION LIKE CRIMEA DID.
OH, IS THAT WHAT CRIMEA DID? THEY JOINED.
THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THEY GOT INVADED BY RUSSIA.
FROM THEIR PERCH IN MOSCOW, THE FOLKS AT YES CALIFORNIA SAID
THEY EXPLICITLY SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE CALIFORNIANS TO STAND
UP AND TAKE DIRECTION ACTION TO BE BOLD AND TO UNAPOLOGETICALLY
DEMAND THE LIBERATION OF THE PEOPLE OF CALIFORNIA FROM ITS
CAPTORS. ITS CAPTORS BEING AMERICA.
BUT AGAIN, THEY WANT TO MAKE CLEAR BECAUSE THEY THINK IT'S
IMPORTANT TO GIVE THIS KIND OF ASSURANCE.
THEY WANT TO BE CLEAR THAT THEY ARE NOT ASKING FOR CALIFORNIA TO
BECOME PART OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION, AND THEY ARE NOT
ASKING FOR RUSSIAN MILITARY HELP.
AT LEAST NOT YET. >> SO WE'RE NOT REQUESTING ANY
KIND OF MILITARY ASSISTANCE FROM RUSSIA.
>> TO SEPARATE CALIFORNIA FROM AMERICA.
THAT'S NOT WHAT WE'RE DOING NOW. SO IS THIS LIKE WEIRD TURN OF
EVENTS, RIGHT? ALL THIS COVERAGE IN THE UNITED
STATES HOW THERE'S THIS ODD SECESSION MOVEMENT IN CALIFORNIA
IN RESPONSE TO DONALD TRUMP GETTING ELECTED WHEN CALIFORNIA
VOTED AGAINST HIM SO STRONGLY. BUT THEN THAT LEADER OF THE YES
CALIFORNIA MOVEMENT SAYS HE HIMSELF VOTED FOR TRUMP.
AND HE DOES KEEP TURNING UP IN RUSSIA.
SO PUTIN'S CHARITY -- PUTIN'S CHARITY GROUP FUNDS THIS
ANTI-GLOBALIZATION MOVEMENT THAT FUNDS THIS CONFERENCE AT WHICH
THE YES CALIFORNIA GUY SHOWS UP. SOON AFTER THE ELECTION THAT
LEADS TO THE FOUNDING OF A PHYSICAL CALIFORNIA EMBASSY IN
MOSCOW WHERE THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE CLEAR THEY'RE
NOT REQUESTING RUSSIAN MILITARY INTERVENTION TO BREAK CALIFORNIA
OFF FROM THE UNITED STATES. BUT THEN IT BECOMES CLEAR THAT
THE YES CALIFORNIA GUY WAS NOT JUST VISITING RUSSIA WHEN HE
WENT TO THE INITIAL DIALOGUE OF NATIONS CONFERENCE.
NOR WAS HE JUST VISITING WHEN HE APPEARED AT THE OPENING OF THE
EMBASSY. HE ACTUALLY LIVES IN RUSSIA.
HE LIVES FULL TIME AND WORKS FULL TIME IN YEKATERINBURG IN
RUSSIA. AND NOW THE STORY HAS COME FULL
CIRCLE. AT LEAST I HOPE THIS IS FULL
CIRCLE AND WON'T TURN INTO A SPIRAL.
THE FOUNDER OF THE YES SECESSION CALIFORNIA HAS ANNOUNCED HE'S
NOT COMING BACK TO THE UNITED STATES.
HE SAYS, QUOTE, I HAVE FOUND IN RUSSIA A NEW HAPPINESS.
HE SAYS, QUOTE, I HAD LONG PLANNED TO RETURN TO OCCUPIED
CALIFORNIA TO STRUGGLE FOR HER INDEPENDENCE FROM THE UNITED
STATES BUT ALAS, NOW HE SAYS, QUOTE, HE DOES NOT PLAN TO -- HE
DOES NOT PLAN TO RETURN TO CALIFORNIA IN THE FORESEEABLE
FUTURE. HE SAYS EVEN THOUGH HE STILL
BELIEVES THAT CALIFORNIA WILL SOME DAY ACHIEVE ITS
INDEPENDENCE FROM THE UNITED STATES, HIS GROUP YES CALIFORNIA
IS WITHDRAWING ITS BALLOT LANGUAGE NOW FROM THE SECRETARY
OF STATE'S OFFICE AND SO BASICALLY, THAT YES CALIFORNIA
MOVEMENT, THE CALIFORNIA SECESSION MOVEMENT UNDER HIM IS
NOW JUST THIS KID LIVING IN YEKATERINBURG, RUSSIA.
HAPPILY, AS A RUSSIAN NOW. BUT NEVERTHELESS SAYING HE PLANS
TO CONTINUE TO SERVE AS THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE REPUBLIC
OF CALIFORNIA TO RUSSIA FROM HIS PERCH IN YEKATURINBURG.
ON THE BLOOD. SO CONSEQUENCES OF THIS FOR US
NOW, NUMBER ONE, SORRY TO DISAPPOINT.
CALIFORNIA SECESSION WILL LIKELY NOT BE ON THE BALLOT IN NOVEMBER
2018. BUT THIS IS ALSO A GOOD LITTLE
DISPLAY OF HOW RUSSIA FUNDS STUFF.
HOW THEY DO STUFF IN THE WORLD. RUSSIA IS PLAYING ALL OVER THE
WORLD TRYING TO GET ITS WAY THROUGH ALL SORTS OF DIFFERENT
MEANS. AND SOMETIMES THEY JUST FLAT OUT
OPENLY GIVE TONS OF MONEY. LIKE FOR EXAMPLE, WHAT THEY DID
WITH MARINE LE PEN WHO IS NOW IN THE RUNNING TO BE THE VERY,
VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY FAR RIGHT WING PRESIDENT OF FRANCE.
PROMISING TO TAKE FRANCE BOTH OUT OF EUROPE AND NATO WHICH
WOULD MAKE PUTIN HAPPY. THEY'VE BEEN HAPPY TO FUND
MARINE LE PEN'S CAMPAIGN TO THE TUNE OF MILLIONS OF EUROS.
AND VLADIMIR PUTIN AND MARINE LE PEN HAVE BEEN HAPPY TO BE SEEN
TOGETHER. THAT'S ONE TIME THEY DO IT.
SOMETIMES IT'S NOT AS OUT IN THE OPEN.
SOMETIMES IT'S MORE LIKE THE WACKY YES CALIFORNIA THING.
PUTIN AS THE PATRON OF A CHARITY FUNDING AN ORGANIZATION, A
CONFERENCE AND SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE IT'S OTHERWISE A
QUIRKY FACEBOOK PAGE OR SIDE BAR HUMAN INTEREST STORY IN AMERICAN
POLITICS ENDS UP OPERATING OUT OF REAL FREE REAL ESTATE IN MISS
-- MOSCOW RUNNING A FAKE
EMBASSY. ANOTHER WAY THAT PUTIN GETS HIS
WAY AND SPREADS HIS INFLUENCE AND USES HIS MONEY IS THROUGH
THE OLIGARCH SYSTEM WHICH BASECALLY ALLOWS PUTIN TO CREATE
PROXIES ALL OVER RUSSIA AND INCREASINGLY ALL OVER THE WORLD.
IF YOU ARE A RUSSIAN IN PUTIN'S FAVOR, OR HE WANTS TO CO-OPT YOU
FOR HIS PURPOSES, THE TYPICAL PATTERN WOULD BE FOR HIM TO
DIRECT RESOURCES YOUR WAY. TO MAKE STATE ASSETS AVAILABLE
FOR YOU. THAT'S WHY WE HAVE LIKE A
RUSSIAN FERTILIZER OLIGARCH AND A RUSSIAN ALUMINUM OLIGARCH.
THESE GUYS DIDN'T WORK THEIR WAY UP IN THE FERTILIZER AND
ALUMINUM INDUSTRIES OR INHERIT THESE FROM THEIR DADS, RIGHT?
THIS IS POST-SOVIET RESOURCE ALLOCATION FROM PREVIOUSLY
STATE-RUN ENTERPRISES. THESE GUYS WERE ALLOWED TO, WERE
PROVIDED WITH THE MEANS TO TAKE OVER BIG CHUNKS OF FORMALLY
STATE-RUN INDUSTRIES FROM THE FORMER SOVIET ERA HAS DIRECTED
BY AND APPROVED BY PUTIN HIMSELF.
SO, FOR EXAMPLE, THERE'S A GROUP CALLED THE SIBERIAN ENERGY
GROUP. THE SIBERIAN ENERGY GROUP HAS
OBTAINED MINERAL RIGHTS AND OIL EXPLORATION LICENSES IN A
SPECIFIC PART OF SIBERIA IN RUSSIA.
YOU DON'T GET THAT KIND OF THING WITHOUT A SPECIFIC KIND OF
PERMISSION IN RUSSIA. AND THAT PERMISSION HAS DIRECT
AND INDIRECT CONSEQUENCES. IT SETS UP, FOR EXAMPLE, THE
HEAD OF THE SIBERIAN ENERGY GROUP IN TERMS OF PROVIDING HIM
WITH PERSONAL POWER AND PERSONAL WEALTH.
IT ALSO INDIRECTLY ESTABLISHES YET ANOTHER MYSTERIOUSLY WEALTHY
PUTIN-CONNECTED BUSINESSMAN WHO SOMETIMES SEEMS TO BE TIED TO
THINGS THAT PUTIN WANTS TO HAPPEN IN THE WORLD.
THIS IS SORT OF THE TRACES THE OLIGARCHS LEAVE ALL OVER THE
WORLD, RIGHT? THE SIBERIAN ENERGY GROUP, I
HIGHLIGHT THAT GROUP BECAUSE THEY PLAY A STARRING ROLE IN A
SCOOP AT POLITICO.COM. THEY'VE DONE A DEEP DIVE INTO
THE FINANCES OF THE SIBERIAN ENERGY GROUP AND CONCLUDED THE
SIBERIAN ENERGY GROUP'S DEALINGS WERE CHARACTERISTIC OF THE
KWEETS TRADES OFFSHORE FINANCING SCHEMES AND CONSULTING
AGREEMENTS THAT PUTIN'S ALLIES HAVE USED TO PROTECT AND HIDE
ASSETS. POLITICO IS REPORTING ON THIS
PARTICULAR TRAIL OF PUTIN MONEY AND PUTIN INFLUENCE BECAUSE IT
NOW APPEARS TO RELATE TO THE MAN YOU SEE ON YOUR SCREEN HERE.
IT NOW APPEARS TO RELATE TO THE TRUMP WHITE HOUSE SPECIFICALLY
TO THE FORMER NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER MICHAEL FLYNN.
YOU REMEMBER THAT AFTER MIKE FLYNN GOT FIRED AS NATIONAL
SECURITY ADVISER, ALLEGEDLY FOR NOT DISCLOSING AND THEN LYING
ABOUT THE CONTENT OF HIS COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE RUSSIAN
GOVERNMENT, A FEW WEEKS AFTER HE GOT FIRED, HE RETROACTIVELY
REGISTERED AS A FOREIGN AGENT WHO HAD BEEN WORKING ON BEHALF
OF THE GOVERNMENT OF TURKEY. WHAT POLITICO.COM REPORTS TODAY
IS THAT WHILE IT IS CLEAR THAT MIKE FLYNN TOOK MONEY TO ACT AS
A FOREIGN AGENT, IT'S NOT CLEAR THAT THE ORIGIN OF THOSE FUNDS
IS DEFINITELY TURKEY. THE THAFTD SIBERIAN ENERGY GROUP
IS NOT A TURKISH GUY. HE IS, AS POLITICO PUTS IT, A
SOVIET-BORN FORMER EXECUTIVE IN RUSSIAN ENERGY AND MINING
COMPANIES. ONE WHO HAS TIES TO VLADIMIR
PUTIN. HE'S NOT TURKISH.
HE'S NOT A TURKISH CITIZEN. DOESN'T LIVE IN TURKEY.
HE'S NOT TURKISH. HE HAS NEVERTHELESS FOUNDED A
COUPLE OF VERY TURKISH SOUNDING ORGANIZATIONS THAT OPERATE IN
WASHINGTON, D.C. THE TURKISH HERITAGE
ORGANIZATION. AND THE TURKISH INSTITUTE FOR
PROGRESS. BOTH OF THEM SET UP BY NOBODY
TURKISH. BOTH OF THEM SET UP BY A RUSSIAN
ENERGY AND MINING EXECUTIVE WHO HAS TIES TO PUTIN.
THROUGH THOSE ORGANIZATIONS, POLITICO REPORTS THAT HE HAS
COORDINATED WHAT APPEAR TO BE TURKISH LOBBYING EFFORTS IN D.C.
HE APPEARS TO HAVE COORDINATED THOSE EFFORTS WITH THE GUY WHO
PAID FLYNN. THE GUY WHOSE SHELL COMPANY PAID
MIKE FLYNN OVER $600,000. SO IN ADDITION TO -- WE'RE
TALKING ABOUT THE GUY WHO PAID FLYNN.
IN ADDITION TO HIS PARTNERSHIPS WITH THE NOT AT ALL TURKISH GUY
WHO IS CLOSE TO PUTIN, WHO IS RUNNING THESE TURKISH LOBBYING
EFFORTS, THE GUY WHO PAID FLYNN HIMSELF ALSO IT TURNS OUT HAS
HIS OWN BUSINESS TIES TO RUSSIA AND TO PUTIN.
INCLUDING PRETTY SIGNIFICANT SIZED AVIATION DEALS RUN THROUGH
A RUSSIAN STATE-RUN BANK. A RUSSIAN STATE-RUN BANK THAT'S
BEEN IMPLICATED IN RUSSIAN INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS IN THE
PAST, AND HE HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN DEALS THROUGH THAT BANK THAT
HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO BE SIGNED OFF ON BY PUTIN HIMSELF
PERSONALLY. ACCORDING TO COURT DOCUMENTS
REVIEWED BY ISAAC ARNSDORF AT POLITO COE.
THE MULTIPLE CONNECTIONS TO FLYNN'S LOBBYING CONTRACT RAISE
QUESTIONS ABOUT THE AGENDA OF THE PEOPLE WHO HIRED FLYNN AND,
QUOTE, THE SOURCE OF THE FUNDS USED TO PAY HIM.
SO THIS IS A REMARKABLE THING, RIGHT?
AS WE COME UP ON THIS BENCHMARK ROUND NUMBER OF 100 DAYS, AT
WHICH WE ARE SUPPOSED TO ASSESS HOW THE PRESIDENT AND HIS NEW
ADMINISTRATION IS GOING, THERE REMAINS, ALONGSIDE EVERYTHING
ELSE THAT'S GOING ON AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT'S WORTH
TALKING ABOUT, THERE REMAINS THIS VERY WEIRD, VERY
UNPRECEDENTED THING ABOUT THEM FIRING THE NATIONAL SECURITY
ADVISER AFTER ONLY 24 DAYS ON THE JOB.
IT'S STILL UNEXPLAINED, AND IT IS STILL -- IT IS ABSOLUTELY
UNPRECEDENTED THAT A NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER WOULD BE FIRED
THAT SOON INTO AN ADMINISTRATION.
THAT HE'D BE FIRED FOR LYING ABOUT HIS CONTACTS WITH A
FOREIGN GOVERNMENT, PARTICULARLY AFTER THAT FOREIGN GOVERNMENT
HAD BEEN PUBLICLY ACCUSED BY THE U.S. INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY OF
ATTACKING OUR PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.
IT IS AS YET UNEXPLAINED AND TOTALLY UNPRECEDENTED THAT THE
NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER WOULD THEN RETROACTIVELY REGISTER AS
HAVING BEEN ON THE PAYROLL OF A FOREIGN GOVERNMENT DURING THE
TIME HE WAS ADVISING THE PRESIDENT AND SITTING IN ON THE
PRESIDENT'S DAILY BRIEF AND GETTING SUPPOSEDLY VETTED TO BE
NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER. THE UNPRECEDENTED AND STRANGE
AND STILL UNEXPLAINED NATURE OF ALL OF THAT GOES TO ANOTHER
LEVEL. IF IT NOW TURBS OUT THAT THE
MONEY MIKE FLYNN WAS TAKING FROM FOREIGN SOURCES WHILE RUSSIA WAS
ATTACKING OUR COUNTRY IS, IN FACT, MONEY THAT CONCEIVABLY
COULD HAVE COME FROM RUSSIA, NOT FROM ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT.
SO THAT'S ALL WEIRD AND UNPRECEDENTED AND AS YET TOTALLY
UNEXPLAINED. PEOPLE TALK ABOUT GETTING TO THE
BOTTOM OF THE TRUMP/RUSSIA CONNECTION.
THIS IS A BIG PART OF IT. IT'S BEEN WEERD FROM THE VERY
BEGINNING. TODAY THE WEIRD WENT PRO THANKS
TO AN UNEXPECTED FORMAL INQUIRY. MOST OF WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT WHAT
HAPPENED WITH THE RUSSIAN ATTACK ON ELECTION AND THE LINKS OF
PEOPLE IN THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN. MOST OF WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THAT
HAS BEEN LEARNED THROUGH INVESTIGATE OF JOURNALISM.
THE GOVERNMENT INVESTIGATION INTO WHAT HAPPENED, THEY ARE
ONGOING, BUT FOR LOTS OF DIFFERENT REASONS THEY DON'T
PARTICULARLY INSPIRE CONFIDENCE RIGHT NOW.
WE'VE HEARD HIDE NOR HAIR OF THE HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE
INVESTIGATION SINCE THE REPUBLICAN CHAIRMAN OF THAT
COMMITTEE RECUSED HIMSELF FROM THE INVESTIGATION AND HIMSELF
BECAME UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE HOUSE ETHSICES COMMITTEE FOR
HIS STRANGE BEHAVIOR TOWARD THE WHITE HOUSE WHILE SUPPORTEDLY
RUNNING THIS INVESTIGATION. THAT'S IN THE HOUSE.
ON THE SENATE SIDE, THIS WEEK WE'VE LEARNED THEY'VE ASSIGNED
PRECISELY ZERO FULL-TIME STAPPERS TO WORK ON THEIR
INVESTIGATION. THEY'VE ISSUED ZERO SUBPOENAS.
THEY'VE MADE ZERO REQUESTS FOR DOCUMENTS AND HAVE CONDUCTED NO
MAJOR INTERVIEWS WITH ANYONE LINKED TO TRUMP.
THAT'S WHAT YOU'VE DONE WITH YOUR MORE THAN THREE MONTHS
WORKING ON THIS ALREADY. AS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
AND THE FBI INVESTIGATIONS, WE LEARNED LAST WEEK THE CHIEF OF
THE NATIONAL SECURITY DIVISION AT JUSTICE, A WIDELY RESPECTED
CAREER OFFICIAL WHO HAS BEEN OVERSEEING THOSE MATTERS IS NOW
STEPPING DOWN. WE DO NOT KNOW WHO WILL REPLACE
HER BUT IT WILL BE A CHOICE OF THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION.
WHOEVER IT IS. TONIGHT THE SENATE CONFIRMED A
NEW DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT AS A
WHOLE. HE WILL NOW OVERSEE THE
INVESTIGATIONS AT EVEN A HIGHER LEVEL, AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL
BECAUSE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL HIMSELF IS RECUSED FROM THIS
MATTER THANKS TO HIS OWN UNDISCLOSED TIES TO THE RUSSIAN
GOVERNMENT. DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL ROD
ROSENSTEIN WAS CONFIRMED BY THE SENATE TONIGHT AS A TRUMP
ADMINISTRATION APPOINTEE. HE'LL BE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF
OVERSIGHT OVER THE TRUMP RUSSIA INVESTIGATIONS INCLUDING THOSE
AT THE FBI, AND IT WILL BE HIS CALL AND HIS CALL ALONE AS TO
WHETHER OR NOT THERE SHOULD INSTEAD BE A SPECIAL COUNSEL
CONDUBTING SOME OF THIS INVESTIGATION INSTEAD OF KEEPING
IT IN HOUSE UNDER HIS PURVIEW. SO WHEN THOSE ARE THE THREE
LEVELS OF INVESTIGATION GOING ON INSIDE THE GOVERNMENT, YOU CAN
SEE WHY PEOPLE WHO CARE VERY MUCH ABOUT THIS STORY START TO
FEEL A LITTLE WOBBLY, RIGHT, ABOUT WHETHER WE'LL EVER GET TO
THE BOTTOM OF IT. BUT NOW A WHOLE DIFFERENT GROUP,
THE HOUSE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE, THEY JUMPED IN.
THEY HAVE REQUESTED THAT THEY'D LIKE TO SEE THE DOCUMENTS THAT
MIKE FLYNN FILED TO UP HIS SECURITY CLEARANCE WHEN HE CAME
ON BOARD AS NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER.
WHAT THEY FOUND IS ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING AND MAY EXPLAIN WHY
MIKE FLYNN IS ASKING FOR IMMUNITY AS WELL ON HIS
TESTIMONY ABOUT RUSSIA. BUT THE MOST AMAZING THING THEY
FOUND WAS A TOTAL SHOCK. TOTALLY UNEXPECTED AND SOMETHING
THAT I CANNOT BELIEVE WILL BE ALLOWED TO STAND.
BUT THAT CAME DIRECTLY FROM THE

Brown Recluse Spider Bite Treatment You Should Know - Duration: 4:32.
Brown Recluse Spider Bite Treatment
It's rare for someone to stumble upon a brown recluse spider, because these eight-legged
creatures are true to their name, they prefer to be left alone.
They tend to live in indoor and outdoor spaces where people don't go most of the time.
Well, If you do find yourself in the same place as one though, it won't want to attack
you, it'll want to get out of your way.
But if it feels trapped, it may bite you.
Brown recluse spiders are one of two spiders found in the United States that can cause
real trouble if they bite you.
They produce harmful venom that may cause a painful sore at the site of the bite.
It may cause even more severe symptoms in some people.
If you have a run-in with a brown recluse, it's wise to have a doctor to check you
out just in case.
Your doctor will want to be as certain as he can that you were, in fact, bitten by a
spider.
It'll help if you can describe what the spider looked like.
Some people try to catch the bug to show the doctor.
That's fine as long as you can do it safely without getting any trouble.
You might just try to take a photo of it.
They are not aggressive towards humans and prefer to run away rather than bite.
Bites happen most often when the spider gets tangled between bedsheets or clothing and
skin.
When living in an area where these spiders are found, it's important to check and shake
out linen and clothes before using them.
This is important if they haven't been used recently.
If you suspect your small child was bitten by a brown recluse, see your doctor right
away.
Their bodies can't ward off the dangerous effects of the spider's venom.
For adults, most brown recluse spider bites can be treated at home with good results.
But about 10% of them cause ulcers or blisters that damage your skin so badly that you need
a doctor's care.
If possible, people should collect and identify the spider that has caused the bite.
The spider can be killed, but completely crushing it can prevent proper identification.
If someone is bitten, they should clean the wound with a mild soap and water and apply
an over-the-counter antibiotic cream.
They should raise the bitten area and try to keep it still.
If the bite is causing discomfort, bitten people should apply a cool compress or ice
pack to reduce swelling and pain.
A pain reliever such as paracetamol or ibuprofen can be helpful in reducing discomfort.
An antihistamine such as Benadryl may also help.
People should contact a doctor if a brown recluse spider is confirmed as being the biting
spider.
The doctor may recommend a tetanus booster if it's been more than 5 years since the last
one.
The doctor may also want to check the wound a few days after the bite to ensure that tissue
is not being destroyed by the venom.
Quick treatment can start if there are any concerns, which reduces the risk of other
complications.
How to prevent brown recluse spider bites
Though brown recluse spider bites are rare, it is possible to further reduce the risk
of getting one.
The best way to do this is by avoiding areas where brown recluse spiders tend to live,
such as outdoor wood or rock piles.
Someone who must work near or around these areas should wear gloves.
When indoors, people should be sure to shake out clothing or bedding that has not been
used for a while.
This is particularly important if they have been stored in an attic, basement, or dark
closet.
Taking other measures to prevent brown recluse spiders infestations is crucial.
Cleaning out attics, sheds, closets, and basements gets rid of places where these spiders like
to hide.
Removing woodpiles outdoors can prevent an infestation outside.
Well, that's the little things you need to know about brown recluse spider bite treatment.

Ramal Refuses To Help Michael And The Others | Season 5 Ep. 4 | PRISON BREAK - Duration: 1:12.
We can't just sit here and die.
You got a window like this one, right?
Maybe we can pry it.
It's too small to reinforce, built
into the Rebar infrastructure.
You got people on the outside, right?
And they're going to try and get us out.
They were supposed to meet us at the shop last night
and they didn't show.
We can't just quit.
[inaudible] will beat us.
Ramal, there's a way out if we work together but see,
it has to start from your cell.
I'm no longer interested.
The only thing left for you to do is to beg.
Beg and they might let you once we're out of this cage,
if only as a slave.
I was a slave for the last seven years.
I won't do it again.
I will miss you when you're dead.
But only for a minute.
Then you will be forgotten, by both time and the world.

Tomi Lahren's Butt The Reason She Got Fired? - Duration: 8:42.
A JUDGE IN TEXAS HAS CLEARED THE WAY FOR TOMI LAHREN TO FIND OUT
WHO LEAKED SOME UNSAVORY DETAILS ABOUT HER WHEN SHE WORKED
AT THE BLAZE.
THIS IS ALL PART OF A LARGER LAWSUIT.
TOMI LAHREN OF COURSE IS SUING THE BLAZE COME AND GLENN
BECK FOR ñ FOR WRONGFUL TERMINATION.
BECK IS COUNTERSUING, CLAIMING SHE WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO
WORK WITH.
AND APPARENTLY SOMEONE, WE DON'T KNOW IF IT'S SOMEONE WHO
WORKED AT THE BLAZE, ALTHOUGH IT SEEMS LIKE IT, LEAKED A
STORY TO THE DAILY CALLER THAT INDICATED THAT TOMI LAHREN
WAS A REALLY DIFFICULT PERSON TO WORK WITH.
LET ME GIVE YOU THE DETAILS.
SO, THE DAILY CUP ñ A DAILY CALLER ARTICLE PUBLISHED LATE
LAST WEEK CLAIMED THAT LAHREN ACTED LIKE A DIVA DURING HER
EMPLOYMENT WITH THE BLAZE, INSISTING SHE TREATED STAFFERS
WITH CONTEMPT AND DISDAIN, EVEN MADE THEM HEAT UP HER BUTT
WARMING PAD."
HER LAWYER IS UPSET ABOUT THIS, AND SAYS THERE WAS A
NON-DISPARAGEMENT ORDERED BY THE JUDGE, AND IF THIS INDIVIDUAL
WORKS AT THE BLAZE, THEY WENT AGAINST THE JUDGE'S ORDERS.
SO AS A RESULT, THE JUDGE IS SAYING THAT GLENN BECK AND THE
BLAZE HAVE TO HAND IN EMAILS BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN
STAFF FROM THE BLAZE AND THE DAILY CALLER.
THE DAILY CALLER IS REFUSING TO HAND OVER ANY EMAILS AND TO
SAY WHO THEIR SOURCE IS.
THIS STORY IS REALLY INTERESTING, BECAUSE THERE
ARE BASICALLY TWO LAWS THAT ARE CONTRADICTING EACH OTHER.
IT HAPPENS FROM TIME TO TIME.
THE JUDGE DID SAY THAT THEY ARE UNDER COURT PROCEEDINGS, AND HE
DIDN'T WANT THEM TO DISPARAGE ONE ANOTHER, AND HE DID AN
OFFICIAL ORDER SO THAT ñ OF NON-DISPARAGEMENT IN PUBLIC.
AND CLEARLY SOMEONE AT THE BLAZE THROUGH TOMI LAHREN UNDER A BUS
BY LEAKING THESE STORIES TO THE DAILY CALLER.
ON THE OTHER HAND, WE HAVE FREEDOM OF THE PRESS.
SO IF YOU GO TO A MEMBER OF THE PRESS AND SAY, GIVE ME YOUR
SOURCES BECAUSE I THINK IT MIGHT HAVE VIOLATED MY ORDER IN
THESE COURT PROCEEDINGS, WELL I THINK THAT'S A BIGGER
PROBLEM, AND I WOULD SAY THAT I HOPE THAT A JUDGE IN THAT
CASE WOULD GO, ALL RIGHT, BUT I CAN'T VIOLATE FREEDOM OF
THE PRESS, SO I'M NOT GOING TO TRY TO ENFORCE THIS.
IF HE ACTUALLY FINDS OUT WHO DID IT, DO YOU KNOW THAT THE
GUY CAN GET SIX MONTHS IN JAIL?
NO NO NO.
I KNOW IT'S A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT BECAUSE THEY ARE
IN THE MIDDLE OF A COURT PROCEEDING AND THE JUDGE
MADE THAT ORDER, BUT IF YOU PUNISH PEOPLE BASED ON
LEAKS, THREE QUARTERS OF WASHINGTON WOULD BE IN JAIL.
RIGHT.
I THINK IT'S INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT TO UPHOLD
CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS, AND ONE OF THOSE CONSTITUTIONAL
RIGHTS IS FREEDOM OF THE PRESS.
SO I GET IT, YOU DON'T WANT TO DONATE ñ SAYING NEGATIVE THINGS
ABOUT EACH OTHER IN THE MIDDLE OF COURT PROCEEDINGS, I TOTALLY
GET THAT, BUT I WOULD ARGUE THAT'S A RELATIVELY LOW
PRIORITY COMPARED TO FREEDOM OF THE PRESS.
BY THE WAY, I THINK TOMI LAHREN AND HER LAWYER PLAYED THIS
COMPONENT OF THE LAWSUIT ALL WRONG.
IF YOU DON'T WANT PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT YOUR BUTT WARMER,
DON'T MAKE IT A BIG DEAL IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS CASE.
I DON'T EVEN THINK IT'S A BIG DEAL.
WHAT SHE A DIVA?
PROBABLY, MAYBE, BUT WHO CARES?
THAT'S TO BE EXPECTED.
I'M NOT SAYING THAT EVERYONE ON AREAS LIKE THAT, BUT I
DON'T KNOW, WHO CARES?
BUT I WOULD WANT TO BURY THIS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, AS OPPOSED TO
MAKING A BIG DEAL ABOUT IT, AND THEN MAKING SURE THAT EVERYBODY
IS COVERING IT ON THEIR NEWS SHOW.
AND BUTT PADS, MAN, I TOTALLY GET IT, SOMETIMES DUDES CRANK UP
THE ACLU NEED TO WARM YOUR BUTT.
WHEN THE STORY FIRST CAME OUT I PURPOSEFULLY DIDN'T COVERED ON
THE SHOW, BUT NOW IT'S RELEVANT BECAUSE FREEDOM OF THE PRESS IS
INVOLVED, AND IT'S BECOME THIS WEIRDLY IMPORTANT NATIONAL STORY
NOW.
THE REASON I DIDN'T RING IT UP IN THE BEGINNING WAS BECAUSE
IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THEY ARE THROWING HER ON ñ UNDER THE BUS,
AND THE MOST YOU HAVE ON HER IS THAT SHE WANTED BUTT WARMERS?
WHO CARES?
THE GUYS WHO ARE LEAKING IT ARE PETTY, AND APPARENTLY DON'T
HAVE VERY GOOD DIRT ON HER, AND IF YOU ARE BEING LEAKED
AGAINST, STUFF HAPPENS.
I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS LEAVING MSNBC, THEY STARTED LEAKING
MY RATINGS FROM JANUARY.
IT WAS JUNE.
I'M LIKE, WHAT?
BUT IN JANUARY THERE WAS ALL THESE HUGE NEWS EVENTS,
THAT WAS ONE OF THE FEW MONTHS THAT CNN BB IN THE RATINGS.
BY THE TIME IT WAS JUNE, I WAS DOUBLING CNN ON MOST NIGHTS.
I WAS BEATING CNN AND HLN COMBINED.
SO WHEN I SAW IN THE PRESS THAT MSNBC MANAGEMENT WAS
LEAKING RATINGS FROM FIVE MONTHS EARLIER, I'M LIKE, OH, THEY
ARE COMING TO GET ME.
BUT I DIDN'T SUE, I DIDN'T TRY TO PUT THEM IN PRISON, I
JUST TOLD MY SIDE OF THE STORY, AND THAT'S IT.
I WOULDN'T EVEN ADDRESS IT.
ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE AN OPINIONATED WOMAN,
REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOUR IDEOLOGY IS, PEOPLE ARE GOING TO
ATTACK YOU AND THEY ARE GOING TO DO IT VICIOUSLY.
IF PEOPLE ACCUSE ME OF WANTING TO HAVE HEATED BUTT
WARMERS, I WOULD BE LIKE, THAT'S PROBABLY THE MILDEST
ACCUSATION I'VE EVER DEALT WITH.
LUCKILY THERE AREN'T DIVAS ñ WE DON'T GET PAID ENOUGH HERE TO BE
DIVAS, BUT IF YOU GO TO TELEVISION, AND I DON'T KNOW
WHAT THEY ARE PAYING AT THE BLAZE, BECAUSE THE BLAZE IS
NAMED AFTER THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT THEY ARE BURNING.
THEY JUST CREATED THIS ENTIRE BONFIRE WITH GLENN BECK AND
OTHER INVESTORS MONEY, NOTHING LOSES SO MUCH MONEY IT'S
RIDICULOUS, SO WHO KNOWS, MAYBE THEY OVERPAY THERE, BUT A
TELEVISION WHERE THEY DO OVERPAY, OH, SO MANY DIVAS.
ALL THE HOSTS ARE LIKE, PLEASE I DO DECLARE.
SO I'M SURE THE PEOPLE ON CABLE NEWS ARE LIKE, SHE ONLY HAD
BUTT WARMERS?
PROBABLY.
WE DO HAVE A FUN POLL FOR YOU GUYS.
WHO'S OVERALL AT FAULT FOR THE PROBLEMS AT THE BLAZE?
TOMI LAHREN FOR TRYING TO GET THE SPOTLIGHT, OR GLENN BECK
FOR GETTING ANNOYED THAT SHE HAS THE SPOTLIGHT AND FIRING HER FOR
HAVING ONE REASONABLE POSITION, THE PRO-CHOICE POSITION?
I DON'T KNOW WHICH WAY TO GO HERE, BECAUSE SHE'S SUCH A
HYPOCRITE, BUT ON THE OTHER HAND HE'S SUCH A HYPOCRITE.
THEY BOTH WANT THE SPOTLIGHT, IT'S SO UNBEARABLE.
I'M GONNA VOTE RIGHT NOW.
IF YOU WANT TO VOTE, TYTNETWORK.COM/BLAZE.
I'M CURIOUS HOW YOU ARE GOING TO VOTE.
I HAVEN'T MADE UP MY MIND YET.
ARE YOU CRAZY?
GLENN BECK IS AT FAULT.
AM I CRAZY RIGHT NOW?
FROM THE VERY BEGINNING.
THINK ABOUT IT.
SHE GETS FIRED FOR SAYING SHE'S PRO-CHOICE, WHICH IS
RIDICULOUS, SHE'S NOT ALLOWED TO MOVE IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION
FOR EVEN HALF A SECOND WITHOUT YOU LOSING YOUR MIND OVER IT?
AND ON TOP OF THAT, HERE'S WHAT THE LAWSUIT IS REALLY
ABOUT: THEY ARE REFUSING TO TERMINATE HER CONTRACT, BUT
THEY ARE ALSO REFUSING TO LET HER GO ON AIR.
YOU KNOW ME, I'M NOT A TOMI LAHREN FAN, I DISAGREE WITH
HER ON ALMOST EVERYTHING, SO IT'S NOT LIKE I WANT HER TO
BE ON THERE, BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT I WANT.
SHE SHOULD BE ON AIR.
THAT'S A CORPORATE MEDIA MOVE, THAT'S WHAT AN AUNT ñ
MSNBC DID TO ASHLEY BANFIELD, THEY LITERALLY MOVED HER
OFFICE INTO A CLOSET, THEY WOULDN'T LET HER ON AIR.
IT'S A SUPER CHEESY MOVE, AND I HEAR YOU, I THINK I'M GOING
TO VOTE WITH YOU, BUT THERE IS A HUGE BUT THERE.
TOMI LAHREN BEFORE SEEMS TO INDICATE THAT SHE WAS PRO-LIFE,
AND THEN SHE GOES ON THE VIEW AND SAYS ALL THE SUDDEN SHE'S
PRO-CHOICE, PLAYING UP TO THAT CROWD, PROBABLY ANGLING FOR
ANOTHER JOB.
SO GLENN BECK, WHETHER YOU ARE BELIEVING HIM OR NOT IS
SAYING, I DON'T MIND IF YOU ARE PRO-CHOICE, I MIND IF YOU
ARE A TOTAL LIAR.
PRETENDING TO BE PRO-CHOICE AT ONE POINT, PRO-LIFE AND ANOTHER.
BUT I THINK YOU ARE RIGHT, THE HEART OF THIS MATTER IS GLENN
BECK BEING BITTERMAN.
WHY IS EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT TOMI LAHREN AND NOT ME?
SHE SAYS SHE'S PRO-CHOICE, FIRE HER.
DON'T LET HER GO ON AIR, SHE'S GOING TO COMPETE AGAINST ME.

Preload/Prefetch, CSS Grid Guide and VR Design: #1.30 the latest News (the Good Parts) - Duration: 5:34.
During past few months Web made a giant leap forward.
I'm fascinated by our Future.

Hi!
Let's talk today about Preload/Prefetch in Chrome, CSS Grid Guide and VR Design.
I'm Anatol and you are watching the Good Parts of the Frontend development.
[Music playing]
Addy Osmani posted a comprehensive article headed "Preload, Prefetch And Priorities
in Chrome".
Here you can see how web loading primitives like link preload and prefetch work behind
the scenes so you can be more effective with them.
Auth0 launched a series entitled "Glossary of Modern JavaScript Concepts".
In the first episode the fundamentals of functional, reactive, and functional reactive programming
in JavaScript are outlined.
If you're eager to learn more, find the links in each section for additional resources.
Here we go again, there is one more good paper on JavaScript engine's running under the
hood, namely "Garbage collection in V8, an illustrated guide" by Irina Shestak posted
on Medium.
Even such complicated concepts provided by the way of illustration can be easily understood.
Another useful article is "A Comprehensive Overview of WebPack" by Cody Arsenault.
It covers the following topics: Setup Basics and Installation, Loaders and Chaining, Plugins
and Support for ES6.
In case you missed it, Node now supports async/await out of the box.
Async/await is one of the most revolutionary features that have been added to JavaScript
in the past few years.
Therefore, you might find the tutorial "6 Reasons Why JavaScript's Async/Await Blows
Promises Away" worth reading.
CSS Grids live their lives in Chrome, Firefox and Opera.
Probably it's a good chance to try them.
So Eric Meyer presented his experience in the context of transforming an existing design
based on floats and inline-blocks into trendy CSS grids.
Another informative article on this topic is "A Complete Guide to CSS Grid Layout" by
Chris House.
It covers not only Basics and Terminology, but also provides the description of each
property of the Grid Container and Grid Items.
On Google developer's blog you can read how to build a frame-perfect custom scrollbar
using matrix transformation in CSS.
Unfortunately, this approach doesn't work in Internet Explorer.
Greg Hovanesyan is back with another tutorial "Recreating Legendary 8-Bit Game Music with
Web Audio API" .
The last point for today is "Getting Started With VR Interface Design" by Sam Applebee
& Alex Deruette.
In this article they share a process for designing VR applications that you can use to start
designing for VR yourself.

What do I do?
I can convince anything in this world
I'm working as a CONVINCER in a big company
What is my job scope?
I decide the price of my salary
I decide the salary of my boss as well

I also decide if my boss has a job
Why? Because I am THE CONVINCER
Before this I had convinced that my friend died
It wouldn't be a problem if he wasn't dead
I will kill him myself
Just to convince people he's dead
The biggest highlight in this is
Even if he really passes on
I am able to convince people he is still alive
