Disaster Recovery - Woodturning Style x 3 - Duration: 11:45.
Hi, Alan Stratton from As Wood Turns (www.AsWoodTurns.com) In the video for this bowl, I was extremely
disappointed when I blew through the bottom of the bowl. So I appealed to you all for
ideas on what to do with this pretty bowl but with a hole in the bottom. There were
a lot of great ideas and I thank you for them. Some had me re-purposing it as a lamp shade.
Maybe even as a coolie hat-I don't know. Others said bird bath; others said "Okay,
since it is a funnel, make it a funnel". But most ideas had to do with putting something
in the middle from wood, to epoxy, to resin and embedding coins or different colors..
– All great ideas. Some then said to put it on a pedestal and raise it up. Other said
to put a handle on it and raise the handle up. Anyway, a lot of great ideas. I cannot
do justice to them all. But here's a couple.
One was to turn a little cone and put the bowl on it. Then it can shift as the mood
strikes you. That turns it more into a work of art and you can charge even more for it.
Or, grow a handle up through the bowl, give it a bit of a handle. Now it is a candy dish,
or nut dish. Another great idea. Another that I particularly like is to take
the plug or medallion. In this case it is a small plug and I'll have to show you the
detail on it. What I did was to use the Infinite Axis Chuck that we developed a bit ago to
turn various features on this plug so that it is not a plain plug. It is now a deliberate
insert into the bottom of the bowl. I had to adapt the chuck a little bit for the plug.
But that's fine. So, in this video, I'll show you this with
the Infinite Axis Chuck and the adaptation of the chuck to improve the chuck. I'll
show you the little cone. And the handle. So, let's get to work.
To begin, I have a small disk of Padauk that is just big enough for this application but
none to spare. I'm using double stick tape to mount it to a threaded wood faceplate.
I need to either keep pressure on for a few minutes before turning or turn with the tailstock
in place. I choose both. Then cut a tenon to fit the hole in the bottom of the bowl.
While fitting I vacillated between a single plug and a double plug to cover the hole from
both sides. In the end, I settled on a single plug to be inserted from the top. I need to
sand a little now. I am not removing the wood from the faceplate yet; I'll use the faceplate
to center the wood when I transfer it. Now to transfer the wood to the infinite axis
chuck. First, I mount the chuck and center it with the tailstock. Then apply double stick
tape and press the wood using a cone center on the tailstock against the faceplate. This
keeps the wood centered while transferring it.
The padauk is too thick. I'll take this opportunity and thin it down with a parting
tool rather than detach the tape from the faceplate. Then shape the surface and sand
up through all the grits. Who knows when I'll have another chance to sand on the lathe.
Now for the first feature. I'm loosening the chuck then using the live center to indicate
the center of the feature I want to turn. Then carefully cut the feature with a sharp
spindle gouge. I need to sand it now. There it is kind of a double moon effect.
Now to shift to the next feature. Loosen the chuck then cinch it just enough to hold it
while I position it for the next cut. Again the live center points to the center. Then
cinch up the chuck as tight as possible. This time I want a little cone surrounded by a
hollow. Easy does it. I have to stop to be sure where I'm cutting. Please note that
the axis of the cone is not perpendicular to the base.
One more feature for this small disk. Same routine. Loosen, Position, Tighten, Cut, sand.
This one is a hollow with a ridge in the bottom. Again sand but it is not much sanding for
this small feature. Finally, I can brush on some lacquer and wipe
off the excess before prying the disk from the chuck. That will do. It will be glued
into the bottom of the bowl. With the last revision to the infinite axis
chuck, I added a 3/8" bolt to enable more turning options and then a replaceable mount
for the wood to be turned. I used maple for the mount thinking that maple would retain
the threads. But the maple did not retain threads well enough for this usage. So, I
purchased a 3/8" T-nut that I will embed in any wood. So, I found a piece of walnut
big enough to fit my scroll chuck. I'm rough rounding and cutting a tenon on one end. A
threaded insert would be another option. Now, I'm flipping it around onto the dovetail
tenon to round off the other side, rough round, and part off leaving a thickness of at least
the depth of the T-nut. Then prepare to drill a shallow 1" hole, the size of my T-nut's
diameter and a through ½" hole, the size of the T-nut shaft. I also cut a little tenon
just in case I need to remount. Before I go too far, I'm trueing the face
of the off cut so it can be glued back to the portion with the nut.
Since the ½" hole for the T-nut is slightly large for the barrel, I don't want to just
pound in the T-nut for fear of it shifting off center. Instead, I'm changing the live
center for a cone center and using the tail stock to press the T-nut gently into place.
Then remove the T-nut and drill for the prongs. I don't want to risk them splitting the
wood. Then press the T-nut firmly into place with the cone center. Then glue the two portions
together. After the glue is set, I'm trimming back
excess wood from the attachment side of the wood and trimming the outer perimeter. This
is somewhat rough but I don't need it to be pretty even if it is walnut. I now have
no fear for the threads. But if they do fail, I'll just make another. Perhaps I should
make another now for an additional mount? For the cone stand, I previously rough turned
a piece of wet Titan cedar and left it to dry. Now is its time to serve. I placed it
in my chuck and start turning a cone. This is a great time to use a skew for the smooth
surface it leaves. Then sand and spray it with blue alcohol based dye with a Richison
atomizer available at art stores or Amazon. The blue seemed very dark so I sanded it again
with fine sandpaper. Since this is a uniform color, I decided to apply brush on lacquer
to see how it works. As I was wiping off the excess, I picked up a lot of color. This was
fine in this case since I wanted to lighten the blue but otherwise I should use spray
lacquer. For the handle alternative, I'm using the
same Titan cedar spindle. I'm first focusing on turning down most of the cylinder to fit
the hole in the bowl. I actually only need a little bit this size near the base but I'm
working it gradually so I don't over cut it to be too small. As I'm close to the
diameter, I'm sanding the remainder to fit to avoid sanding it later and making it too
small and loose. Once it fits, I'm forming a simple handle
shape on the spindle with a skew and small spindle gouge.
After sanding, I'm masking off the base that will be below the bowl. I don't want
this to be blue. Then spraying with the same blue dye. This time, I'm using rattle can
lacquer to finish the spindle to avoid picking up the dye.
Then refine the base and part it off. I'll sand the bottom at the drill press.
Well here are three examples on how to save that bowl and make it look deliberate. Only
a fellow woodturner would know that this was not my plan all along. Circumstances have
prompted a different route and new discoveries. The cone provides an artistic alternative.
The handle makes the bowl utilitarian. The decorated plug or insert adds more visual
interest on the artistic side. Thank you all for the wide range of suggestions. Over time,
I may try them all as I blow through the bottoms of more turnings. It will happen.
We'll see you again next week for another woodturning video. Please give this video
a thumbs up, subscribe and tell your friends. Always wear your full face shield –goggles
are not enough protection. Until next week, this is Alan Stratton from As Wood Turns dot
com. Let's keep turning.

I was a liar I gave into the fire
I know I should've fought it At least I'm being honest
Feel like a failure Cause I know that I failed you
I should've done you better Cause you don't want a liar
And I know, and I know, and I know
She gives you everything but boy I couldn't give it to you
And I know, and I know, and I know
That you got everything but I got nothing here without you
So one last time
I need to be the one who takes you home
One more time
I promise after that, I'll let you go
Baby I don't care if you got her in your heart
All I really care is you wake up in my arms
One last time
I need to be the one who takes you home
I dont deserve it I know I don't deserve it
But stay with me a minute I'll swear I'll make it worth it
Can't you forgive me At least just temporarily
I know that this is my fault I should have been more careful
And I know, and I know, and I know
She gives you everything but boy I couldnt give it to you
And I know, and I know, and I know
That you got everything but I got nothing here without you
So one last time

Top 10 Cheapest Protein Foods in India (Veg & Non Veg) - Duration: 9:22.
Today I am going to share with you 10 of my favourite and the cheapest protein sources
which are also very easily available in the Indian market.
The list includes 3 non vegetarian and 7 vegetarian sources.
So stay tuned.
Hello Friends!
Welcome to Fit Tuber.
Protein is an essential part of our diet.
It is very important for the daily repair of the body, skin and hair health.
An average person who has a sedentary lifestyle, even his/her body requires 1 gram of protein
per Kg bodyweight.
For example, if your weight is 60 kg and you do not workout, even then your body requires
about 60 gram of protein.
So I have identified 10 best protein sources available in India and ranked them solely
on the basis of cost effectiveness.
So here we go.
Ranked at number 10 is Tofu.
Tofu which is also known as soya paneer is obviously made from soya beans.
Tofu is a vegan source of protein that means it is not made from any kind of animal product.
Now 200 grams of tofu packets are very easily available in the Indian market which cost
about 70 rupees.
Now, one serving of tofu is 100 grams.
That means 100 grams of tofu is 35 rupees.
So, in that 100 grams of tofu you are getting about 15 grams of protein, 15 grams of carbohydrates
and about 8 grams of fats.
Now, because it has carbohydrates and fats, it is not a lean source of protein.
Now you are getting 15 grams of protein in 35 rupees.
That means 1 gram of protein costs about 35 by 15 that is about 2.3 rupees.
If you are concerned that tofu may cause man boobs or decrease in the testosterone levels,
I would say moderation is the key.
You can easily have 100 grams of tofu daily without any kind of health problems.
Number 9 is fish.
Now, there are a variety of fishes available in the Indian market.
Now, when it comes of protein, the whiter the fish is the better it is.
This is because white fish is a lean source of protein.
It does not have any carbohydrates and fats.
Tilapia is one such fish.
Then there are other fishes like Indian Salmon and Pomfret.
Even though they are not a lean source of protein but they are great because they have
essential fatty acids.
Now, on an average, 1 kg of fish costs about 500 rupees.
1 serving of fish is 100 grams.
That is 100 grams of fish you are getting for 50 rupees.
Now, in that 100 grams of fish you are getting 25 grams of protein.
So that means you are getting 25 grams of protein in 50 rupees.
That means 1 gram of protein in 2 rupees.
Fish is a great source of protein and should be included in your diet at least once a week.
Number 8 is paneer that is cottage cheese.
Now we get 200 grams of paneer packets at about 70 rupees.
One serving of paneer is 100 grams which will cost you 35 rupees and it will give you 18
grams of protein but about 20 grams of fat.
So you are getting 18 grams of protein in 35 rupees.
That is 1 gram of protein in 2 rupees.
Now, because it has a lot of fat, you have to keep it's consumption in moderation.
However, this problem gets solved if you make paneer at home.
Yes, you can buy low fat milk and make paneer at home.
Each packet of milk which has about 1.5 percent of fat which costs about 18 rupees will yield
about 100 grams of paneer.
That means you are getting 18 grams of protein from 18 rupees and negligible amount of fat.
That means you are getting one gram of protein from 1 rupee from a lean vegetarian source
which is great.
Now, making of paneer is a very common practice in Indian homes.
All you need to do is boil the milk.
Once the milk gets boiled, you need to sprinkle lemon juice or vinegar into it and stir it
well.
The paneer will automatically get separated.
But anyway, if you are getting it from outside, even then you can have 100-200 grams of paneer
on a daily basis.
At number 7 is chicken breast.
Now, just yesterday I went to a local vendor.
The price of the chicken was 230 rupees per kg.
I asked him to give the boneless part of the chicken breast.
And 100 grams of that boneless chicken breast costed me 35 rupees.
And that 100 grams of chicken breast that costed me 35 rupees will give me about 25
grams of protein.
That means, I am getting 1 gram of protein in 1.4 rupees.
Now, what's great about chicken breast is that it is a lean source of protein.
It does not have any carbohydrates or fats.
So, if you are a non vegetarian you should definitely include the breast part of the
chicken in your diet.
Ranked at number 6 are legumes.
Now, when I say legumes I mean black kidney beans, chickpeas and black chana.
All three have almost similar nutritional information.
On an average, 1 kg of any of these will cost you about 150 rupees.
Now, one serving is 100 grams so that means 100 grams of legumes cost you 15 rupees.
Now, when you cook 100 grams of kidney beans, they will expand and their weight will get
almost doubled.
So that 100 grams of kidney beans that you got for 15 rupees will give you about 15 grams
of protein.
So that means you are getting 1 gram of protein in 1 rupee.
But the problem with legumes is that along with that 15 grams of protein, you will also
get about 40 grams of carbohydrates.
Now, if you are eating 3 rotis with chickpeas curry, you are eating way too many carbohydrates
in one meal.
So you should always take into consideration that legumes are already very high in carbohydrates.
Number 5 is milk.
Now, when I say milk, I mean low fat milk.
This is because full cream milk is loaded with saturated fat which you should avoid.
Now, 500 ml of milk packet will cost you about 18 to 20 rupees depending upon it's fat
percentage which will give you about 18 grams of protein and 24 grams of carbohydrates.
So that means you are getting 1 gram of protein for 1 rupee.
Now, irrespective of that fact that your goal is muscle building or fat loss, you can still
have 500 ml of milk on a daily basis.
Number 4 is egg whites.
Just 2 days back I got a tray of 30 eggs for 105 rupees.
That means I bought 1 egg for 3.5 rupees.
Now, let's assume that you do not buy it from a whole seller.
So in that case you will get 1 egg for about 4 rupees.
Now, one egg white has about 4 grams of protein.
That means you are getting 1 gram of protein for 1 rupee.
Now, what's great about egg whites is that they are a lean source of protein.
Also, they get very easily digested in the body.
So you can easily eat 5-6 egg whites in 1 serving.
Now, it is your choice if you want to have them as omelette, bhurji or boiled.
At number 3 are peanuts.
Now, you can easily get 1 kg of peanuts at about 120 rupees.
One serving of peanuts is about 30 grams which will cost you about 3.5 rupees.
And 30 grams of peanuts will give you about 7 grams of protein.
That means you are getting one gram of peanut at 0.5 rupees.
Now, along with 7 grams of protein you are also getting 14 grams of fat.
That fat is healthy fat and it is very important for the body.
So you can have 2 servings of peanuts on a daily basis.
Now, it is your choice if you want to roast them or make peanut butter out of them.
When I say roasting, I mean dry roasting without the use of salt.
And for homemade peanut butter recipe, you can checkout this video.
At number 2 are lentils.
Now lentils that is dals are a very important part of Indian diet.
So, there are different types of lentils.
Some you will get for 60 rupees per kg and others you will get for 100 rupees per kg.
Now, let's take an average value that you will get 1 kg of lentils at about 80 rupees.
So now, one serving is 100 grams.
So you take 100 grams of lentils which will cost you about 8 rupees.
So again if you cook lentils they will again expand and their quantity will increase.
So, from 100 grams of lentils you will get 18 grams of protein and about 40 grams of
carbohydrates.
That means you are getting one gram of protein at 0.4 rupees which is very cheap.
But again the problem is with the carbohydrates.
So, all the things that we had applied for legumes, apply here as well.
Moreover, lentils are not a complete source of protein.
Incomplete as in they do not have the 9 essential amino acids.
However, when you mix different lentils like green, yellow, red and black together, they
become a complete source of protein.
Now, before we jump to number one, let's talk about a few honourable mentions.
First is whey protein.
Now, the cost of whey protein depends upon brand to brand.
The cost of 30 gram of whey protein may vary from 50 rupees to 100 rupees depending upon
the brand.
Now that 30 gram of whey scoop has about 24 grams of protein.
So, that means you are getting 1 gram of protein at about 2-4 rupees.
Yes, it is costly but it has it's own advantages.
Because it is extracted from milk, it can be taken by vegetarians as well.
It is a lean source of protein.
And it is the fastest digesting protein and there is nothing unnatural about it.
Second is nuts like almonds, cashews, walnuts.
Now the cost of 1 kg of nuts ranges from 700 rupees to 1500 rupees.
1 serving of nuts is about 30 grams which will give you about 7 grams of protein and
14 grams of healthy fats.
So you can easily include 1-2 servings of nuts everyday.
So, 1 gram of protein from nuts will cost you about 3-6 rupees.
Finally, at number 1 are soy chunks.
200 gram of soy chunk box costs about 40 rupees.
1 serving of soy chunks is 50 grams which comes out to be 10 rupees.
Now, in these 10 rupees, you are getting 25 grams of protein which is very very high.
That means you are getting 1 gram of protein at 0.4 rupees.
Now, along with 25 grams of protein, you are also getting 18 grams of carbohydrates which
is fine.
The only thing that you should take into consideration while consuming soy chunks is moderation.
So having 50 grams of soy chunks on a daily basis that is 25 grams of protein from them
is perfectly fine.
It will not cause any kind of hormonal issues.
So friends, that's all for this video.
I hope you found this video helpful.

How to Wireframe a Website || Balsamiq Mockups Tutorial - Duration: 9:52.
Hi everyone!
Today we're making a wireframe for a website layout in Balsamiq Mockups.
You can use the demo version online for free.
I started by making a rough, hand drawn sketch, where I drew all the elements I want on the
front page of the website.
And I'm using that as a guide to draw a cleaner wireframe in Balsamiq Mockups.
First, go to the Balsamiq Mockups website and click on Launch demo version.
Then go to Project, click on New mockup.
I'm using a template for a 1200 px wide website so I'm importing the mockup JSON by copy pasting
the code here.
Drag the template from one corner if you need to adjust the size for your screen.
There are all kinds of text boxes, shapes, icons and buttons available.
Go to common in the menu and choose rectangle and just drag it on top of the template.
This will be the banner area.
Then drag an image box on top of the banner.
Click outside of the image to lose the text input box and then you can resize the image
box.
Go to text and drag a big title next to the banner image.
If your title is on more than one lines, you need to drag in a new title for a new line.
You can center the text using the grids.
They will automatically pop up when you're moving the elements.
You can change the font size, type, color or alignment from the tab on the right.
Then click on the subtitle and drag that under the big title.
The website I'm designing here is an art portfolio so that's what I'm typing in.
Drag in a menu bar.
Type in your navigation links, separated by commas.
You can choose which one is selected.
I'm choosing home, because I want this to be the home page.
Drag in another rectangle under the menu.
I'm also making the template longer.
Add a big title and type in the title of this section.
Mine is a gallery section so I'm dragging in images.
If you need many elements of the same size, you can just duplicate them using the button
next to the undo and redo buttons.
I'm dragging the section a little longer so I can fit in a see more link.
Find the link element and drag it in.
Because this is the demo version, it will self-destruct in one hour from starting so
make sure to save it, in case you might take longer than an hour.
Go to project, export and choose mockup to JSON.
A text version of your wireframe is copied on to your clipboard.
Open a text editor, paste in the text and save it.
Duplicate the rectangle of the last section to make a new one.
You can also change the color of the rectangle.
You might want to alternate colors between the backgrounds of the different sections
to make them stand out more.
Duplicate the title of the last section and drag it into the new section and type in the
new title.
Mine is an artist bio.
I'm dragging in an image and then going into text and dragging in a block of text.
Duplicate the see more link from t previous section.
The next section is pretty much the same, but I'm reversing the order of the image and
text and making the image bigger.
And instead of an image box, I'm going to Big and dragging in a video player.
I'm going into icons and adding the YouTube play button on top of the video player to
make it clearer it's a video.
You can't change the size of the icons.
If you have a template you're working on top of, you can use the stripes of the template
as a guide for the element sizes.
I'm trying to use thirds here: the text is about one third wide and the video player
is two thirds wide.
The last content section will be divided into two: contact information and an email list
subscription form.
Add a line of text as the email address and then go to icons and find the social media
icons you want to use.
And add a line of text beside the icons and an image in the subscribe section.
Go to text and drag in a block of text beside the image.
Go into forms.
Drag in a text input box.
You can type in what you want the guide text of the box to be.
Then place button below it and type in subscribe.
Drag in the last rectangle for the footer.
Add a label, I typed in copyright information.
Go to project, export and click on current mockup to PNG to save it as an image.
Download and save the file.
Remember to also save the text version.
Go to project, export and click on mockup to JSON.
You'll have the text version on your clipboard, paste it into a file and save it.
If you want to modify the wireframe later, you can just copy that text and import it
into Balsamiq Mockups and continue it. This is what the finished wireframe looks like.
I'll make a part 2 on how to draw a website layout with colors, images, fonts and so on
on top of this wireframe using Photoshop.
Thanks for watching!

Korean reacting to G-Dragaon - Untitled, 2014 ㅣWooLara - Duration: 5:48.
Hello everyone! This is WooLara from Korea
Today I'm going to do the new GD reaction video
Because GD has released a new album, and his music video has revealed just now
So I'm going to start!
I'm going to use Korean from now because I can't really express myself in English
As you know, so I'm going to start using Korean just now
Please turn on the caption button down here!
Let's start~
The title is untitled? That's interesting
I can't really see anything
It's just so purple
Ah!! I'm gonna use Korean right now
I really think his voice is pretty
And he's clearly thinner than me! I just so envy him
Wow the backgound suddenly changed
He's really sexy *-*
ah is the background CG?
I think he's filming this video for one take
There's no cut between scenes
I think he has thinner waist than me T-T Well of course
So the background was made
I really like the lyrics
And I also like the clothes
Lovely lyric! He said he wants to meet someone in a dream and fall in love again
He's really amazing. You know it's really hard to do the act like this at once
Celebrities are really different
If I were there, I couldn't have done anything because I'm embarrassed
I remember there were several music videos which were took by one take
And I guess this one is also made by one take
So I guess people will talk about the fact that this music video is done by one take and it's well made
I can tell the typical GD style walking
One thing I surprised
I heard this from the TV show
Do you know Zico?
He said from the TV that idols practice those gestures too
You can really see that GD's gestures are another level
It's all made from the hard practice
Also I really like Bigbang and GD
But I never knew that GD could sing in that high pitch!
He can sing really well :-0
Also he used the piano sound for the background
It's quite different from the music until now. Bigbang's music, Gd, Gd & top, GD & Taeyang
I haven't heard many songs of theirs, but anyway
I only heard their electronic music or loud music, but not this one
How can a person seems so cool just by standing?
Untitled in Korean(Mu jae)
Why is there 2014 in the title?
Is that a thing that only fans know?
When I heard that GD's new album will be released,
I expected a colorful music and a unique styling of GD like other music
But in real this is very simple
You can also tell that by the title 'untitled'
So I feel like this music is very pure, innocent
Also really lyrical.
Also at first I thought he went somewhere and took the music video because of the background
But it appears that he took it in the studio
The music video like this
Doesn't need much production cost
He didn't even go abroad to take this video
so it's certain that he didn't use much production cost
But the result is amazing and I think it was possible because it was GD
After all, I was surprised that GD released a main title song as this which is pure and simple
So it broke the stereotype. So it was refreshing and new!
If you liked the reaction video, please click Like!
And next week, I'm going to upload a video that many of my viewers requested
It's gonna be about, typical Korean student apartment tour!!
When you come to Korea by yourself
most of you won't be able to live in houses that were in kpop music videos or Korean dramas
If you are not a rich, you can't live there
So I'm going to show you a realistic, common, typical student apartment for you next week
Please be subscribed and don't miss it!
See you next time~ Tchau~!

Ende Gelende und Tschau Kakau - (subbed for Boneclinks) - Duration: 2:09.
You want to know why I stop making videos?
Let's start with Boneclinks standing in front of my house.
Let's start with thousands of haters standing in front of my house.
Let's start with people in RealLife who think they can hate on people who they think they have something to do with me. (complicate sentence :D)
Let's start with getting something delivered what I didn't even order.
Let's start with people who go to prison because they hate on me.
But this hasn't only to do with me. He is in prison because of other things too.
Believe it or not.
You want to hate me?
Ok. (Don't know how to translate it otherwise) There's only Gaming know.
I had enough today. Today it's over.
Maybe I will do videos again in about one or two years. ( Yeah of course let's wait till you get your bills ;) )
If you start again with your sh*t: It's over.
See you then. Your Drache.
Bye you w*nkers.
( There is you! :3 )
( No don't walk away! :( )
( DAB )
( How was your day? )
( I'm ill :( )
( Nice view Drache... )
( Maybe cut this out? )

You want me to continue making videos? Well, as long as Boneclinks is making Videos and people come to visit me, you have to come along with Gaming. Say Thanks to them. See you later alligator. (He used a different sentence but it wouldn't rhime in English.)

Mason Ashley - Strangers (Official Music Video) 4K - Duration: 5:07.
Maybe we should call it
We both know it's what you want
You're left looking for the answers While I'm searching for excuses not to run
Your mind is far from me
Your words don't mean much
I've been showing off a vase Of dead wild flowers
Pretending they aren't shriveled up
But here I am
I won't beg for you, dear
It's all on you now Can't just ignore this
There's too much here
I'm breathing in the moments
Remembering in TV light
You danced me around the living room, but Surrounded us in questions we just couldn't hide
Now I'll try my best to hate you
And you'll try your best to care
While you hid me in the shadows No one will ever know you left me just waiting there
But here I am
I won't beg for you dear
It's all on you now Can't just ignore this
There's too much here
Let what's lost be lost
All we wasted was time
We'll live on in this song We both were fine before "remember whens"
We're already strangers again
You can promise me the sun
Speak of things that we should do
But the magic here is gone It was all smoke and mirrors and none of it was true
You can let her hold you
Like she did all along
And I can play the fool, babe,
Convinced myself this whole time my suspicions were wrong
But here I am
You'll beg for me, dear
It's all on me now Can't just ignore this
There's too much here
Let what's lost be lost
All we wasted was time
We'll live on in my songs We'll both be fine after "remember whens"
Here we are now strangers again

#TAFAZENDOERRADO 1 – A CAIPIRINHA - Duration: 8:06.
A visit to New York City is one of the biggest dreams of tourists from around the world.
But the city is complex, and for Brazilians or really any foreign visitor,
it's easy to make mistakes and embarrass yourself here.
That's why today we are launching a series of videos in which, with the support of Cachaça 51,
we'll show more tips on how to avoid making blunders and make the most of your time in the city.
It's our series: #You'reDoingItWrong".
Over the next six Fridays, we'll talk about the Statue of Liberty,
hipster neighborhoods, American-style barbecue and more, with the participation of "Eríquio Santos"
but today we'll start with a subject that I'm always talking about with friends,
but this partnership gives me an excuse to talk about it with you.
Amigo Gringo, do you know where we can have a caipirinha here in Times Square?
Hmm! That's exactly it!
How caipirinhas are seen outside of Brazil and why, from my point of view, some Brazilians are…
Frickin' idiots! Get out of there!
You just need to wait a bit, and you'll get great tips from…
…your Amigo Gringo.
#YOU'REDOINGITWRONG
Brought to you by 51
That numbskull Amigo Gringo is no help. But no matter.
Look, here it says that there's a bar nearby that serves authentic international cocktails.
Great, let's go! I think it's this way.
Hey, welcome guys!
Wow, I like this menu.
I'll have this one, the Mayan Temple, from Guatemala.
Perfect, good choice.
Now that's made with a Central American
sugar cane liquor known as guaro,
and traditional Mayan ingredients.
Huh. And I'll have a caipirinha.
Excellent choice.
That's a traditional Brazilian drink
made with a pure sugar cane liquor known as cachaça,
and lime.
Of course I know what a caipirinha is, I'm Brazilian!
But being sophisticated and cosmopolitan,
I'll have mine with [BEEP]
– that makes it much fancier.
What? A caipirinha with something other than cachaça?
Fricking idiot!
You're doing it wrong!
Welcome to "You're Doing It Wrong"
where tourists compete to see who can embarrass themselves the most in New York.
Rogério e Marilene are our first contestants today.
Rogério, tell us a little about yourself.
Hmm, I'm from the Rondonian Plateau,
where I have a bakery called Bread on a Plate-au. Get it?
And Marilene?
No, wait, I want to know what we're doing here!
You're doing it wrong!
And you nailed it.
[BEEP] in a caipirinha? Hah!
But today is your lucky today, because in our game, if you do it wrong, you win!
Amigo Gringo, tell them what they've won.
That's right Eríquio!
Rogério e Marilene, you've won a caipirinha made correctly – with cachaça.
The caipirinha is known around the world.
And many bars in New York serve their own version.
Around here, it's considered a sophisticated, authentic drink
– not for the lime, we've got limes.
Not for the sugar, we've got sugar – too much, in fact.
It's for the cachaça,
a uniquely Brazilian liquor with a distinct flavor that the culinary site Epicurious called:
At the same time, the liquor most often substituted by Brazilians is considered unsophisticated
and taste-free by many cocktail enthusiasts.
The idea of substituting something non-Brazilian for cachaça
in the most Brazilian drink seems crazy outside of Brazil.
It's like making feijoada with lentils instead of beans,
or the classic soccer rivalry Flamengo-Fluminense being played with a watermelon instead of a ball.
A caipirinha with cachaça.
Make it two.
I'll have mine with artificial sweetener.
Ugh, adding artificial sweetener in drinks is also not very common here.
NEW YORKESE CLASS
Next week on #You'reDoingItWrong Part 2: American barbecue.
Let's see what that fricking idiot Rogério does wrong this time.
Vanessa, what are you going to make here?
To go along with each class in the series, I'll prepare a cocktail with cachaça.
Great, you don't want to miss this.
Subscribe to the channel and activate notifications by clicking the little bell.
Follow us on social media and take a look at our Patreon site,
where members participate every two weeks in a live Telegram chat with the team.
The next one will be with Vanessa on June 26.
And now, your New Yorkese class, along with…
A drink made of…
Strawberries!
Blueberries!
Summer is blueberry season here in New York.
And how do you say "blueberries" in Portuguese?
It's "mirtilo americano."
You have to add "americano" because "mirtilo" alone is a European fruit that is similar, but not the same.
Huh, but this is not Fruit Class, it's New Yorkese Class,
and the most important part of making caipirinhas or cocktails with cachaça is to "amassar" the fruits.
How do you say that in English?
The dictionary says "mash" or "knead."
That's true, but "mashing" is only for potatoes and knead is for dough, for bread.
With fruit, it's "muddle".
Isn't "muddle" a little pool of water?
No, that's "puddle."
Now, let's muddle the fruits.
Half a lime.
One and a half tablespoons of blueberries
One tablespoon of sugar [or less, Brazilians like their drinks sweet!]
A shot of cachaca.
Or a bit more.
Ice to taste.
Stir!
Enjoy!
