Youtube daily report Aug 10 2017

Thank you for your question.

You submitted several photos and you have essentially concerns about volume in the cheeks

and the tear trough.

And you're asking about strategy in terms of difference between treating a man versus

a woman as far as the areas of placement and what your options are.

Well, this is a very important question and I think that it's something that I'm quite

familiar with doing this every day in my practice.

A little bit of background, I'm a Board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellowship-trained oculofacial

plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

I have been in practice in Manhattan and Long Island for over 20 years.

Enhancing the facial structure through different modalities has been an evolution in my practice

over the past 20 years.

And I would like to first address the thinking before we talk about the solutions.

So one thing to be mindful of is of course to look at yourself and determine if this

is an area of concern due to weight loss, aging or is it just something that has always

been a relative deficit that you were born with.

Now that's a very important way to make a distinction about how to strategize the

type of volume correction because the goal ultimately is to help you look better and

to look natural and I think that's the origin as to why you're asking of course the difference

between doing a cheek augmentation and tear trough augmentation in a man versus a woman.

The last thing you want is to look like many people fear thanks to some celebrities who

look very rounded, very doughy or pillowy.

The key is to maintain a natural masculine appearance but at the same time not to look

drawn or gaunt.

So when I was first in practice and for many years, basically, before the introduction

of hyaluronic acid fillers, the approach was to always use some kind of a facial implant

whether it was a tear trough implant, a cheek implant or a combined implant.

It was basically the strategy of a surgeon to place an implant.

Now move the clock forward to the last couple of years, we actually have fillers that are

longer lasting such as Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Ultra Plus.

However, one of the challenges is where exactly to place and in what anatomic space.

A lot of times, people get frustrated, before they have come to us about the placement because

most of the time, doctors will place the filler only in the soft tissue spaces which means

just below the skin.

In our practice, we do something called Structural Volumizing.

This is a very distinct approach and unique in that we're placing the filler at the

level between the bone and the muscle essentially the space which gives you more structure and

does not create this rounded look.

It's not saying that soft tissue is invalid and certainly, there are many patients whom

I combine the two.

But placement on the structural level, at the bone level is a very specific method and

technique.

Now when I do this, I also keep in mind of course what the patient's concerns are but

I think a general idea to at least understand a little bit more is a concept of the golden

ratio.

When you look at attractive faces whether it's men or women, there is a certain balance

to the width of the cheekbones versus the width of the jaw.

And that balance is essentially a 1.6 to 1 ratio.

And there are different parts of the face where this 1.6 to 1 ratio.

It's also known as phi or the golden ratio.

It's derived from Greek.

And it is seen throughout nature and it resonates with people as it is hardwired in our DNA

to see that balance as being attractive.

So when people look drawn or gaunt or have a relative deficit, strategic placement can

be very effective.

We have to have a strategy.

We also have a wide range of injectable fillers to choose from whether it's in the Juvederm

family or the Restylane family.

We have a lot of options in terms of relative thickness, the stretchability and memory as

well as the thinness and elasticity and diffusibility of these different fillers.

So we live in a very fortunate time.

It's like being an artist and having lots of different paints.

You actually have a lot to use to customize.

The discussions with your doctor are critical.

When I talk to my patients, I take a lot of pictures.

I review their pictures with them.

They often discover different areas and aspects of their face that they didn't realize because

they were focused in one area.

People always do this.

They look in the mirror and they focus on an area that bothers them and sometimes miss

the forest for the trees.

So after reviewing their photos, I actually just draw with erasable marker and I show

them where I think the volume would be of value.

After that's done, we then decide what fillers to use and the patient decides what they like

to do and maybe what they like to wait to do but it is a strategy.

And certainly, there is of course a difference in how we place fillers on men versus women.

I think that in terms of the central facial area, men tend to more likely to prefer a

flatter look and women tend to prefer a softer look.

But again, there is a lot of variation there.

My preferred approach now is not to put facial implants in those areas but rather to use

long lasting fillers.

These long lasting fillers can last up to two years for example Juvederm Voluma.

So when you think about that, there's a benefit of longevity and not having to come

to the office every few months and I feel what's more important for me is the control.

I can really be very precise if one area of the face has more projection than the other

area of the face, one side versus the other which is very common, then I can add a little

bit more in one side compared to the other.

This flexibility is so liberating and it is so nice to be able to do that.

And we spend a lot of time in doing these procedures.

We never rush through placement of fillers.

I always treat placement of fillers like I do surgery.

We use extremely sterile technique and we do things in a very formal way to minimize

potential issues and to give the patient the appropriate amount of time in order to get

an optimal result and that's how we work.

And generally speaking, it has worked out very well.

The convenience of having the procedure where you can get facial volume, Structural Volumizing,

performed in 30 minutes with just a little bit of local anesthetic and almost always

no bruising or minimal bruising, it is great.

This is a significant contrast to a surgical procedure where there's going to be a certain

amount of healing process.

It doesn't mean that there's no value to cheek implants or tear trough implants

but I think that as an initial process, the injectable filler placement ends up being,

not only the initial process but it becomes the preferred process for our patients.

It can beat the convenience and the ability to just not to have any downtime.

So meet with qualified, experienced doctors.

I think surgeons have a unique perspective because a facial cosmetic surgeon has operated

at the bone level, has seen everything.

And I think that there's a certain informed view of placement that's going to be different

from someone who hasn't done that type of work.

And of course, this is an area that people get sensitive about but that's my perspective.

So I hope that was helpful, I wish you the best of luck and thank you for your question.

Why Chin Augmentation in Young People Needs Careful Consideration, and Conservative Treatments - Duration: 7:54.

Thank you for your question.

You're 25-years-old and you submitted several photos from multiple angles to ask about essentially

a desire to have a more heart shaped face and that you feel that your face is too round

and that you have a weak chin.

Well, I can certainly share with you how I would go about evaluating an individual like

yourself who would come to my practice.

A little bit of background, I'm a Board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellowship-trained oculofacial

plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

I have been in practice in Manhattan and Long Island for over 20 years.

And helping people achieve improvement of their facial harmony is something we do pretty

much every day in our practice at of course different ages.

Now, I think that when you look at yourself and you see these areas, you also state in

your question that you don't want to lose the character of your face.

And I think that my first thought when I see your pictures and I read this question is

first understanding that your face is also continuing to evolve.

And a face that maybe on the rounder side at 25 may be significantly more angular by

30 or 35.

And why is that?

Because as we get older, we lose what is often referred to as baby fat.

And so, when you feel like your face is too round, although, there's certainly some

people who have family traits where everyone has a very round face, I would say that if

you want to get that heart shaped face, that the way to think about that heart shaped face

is in a concept known as the golden ratio.

The golden ratio or phi derived from the Greek equation for beauty is a proportion of 1.6

to 1.

So when you see attractive models in magazines, their cheekbones are at a certain width which

is proportional to the jaw or chin area which is a 1.6 to 1.

And I think that's kind of what you're looking to achieve.

Now when you refer to a weak chin, it is very important to differentiate a chin that might

benefit from some type of augmentation whether it's a chin implant or injectable filler

or if what you have is an underbite where the lower teeth are more posterior back compared

to the front in what would be the norm.

So this is also something that also has to be appreciated.

It doesn't mean you have to fix everything but to understand the difference between an

underbite versus a weak chin.

Typically, with a weak chin as a standalone issue, the options are to do a chin implant

which we do fairly routinely in our practice as well as soft tissue filler which actually

we do a lot more of because it's just more convenient.

If you really wanted to do something at this stage of your life, I would consider just

for trying out, if you're going to do something, I would say a soft tissue filler like a hyaluronic

acid filler placed in the chin can give you a certain perspective of how your chin looks

with a little bit of enhancement.

It's a choice where I think you get a benefit of doing something that's going to actually

make a change, at the same time give you a perspective on how it affects the whole structure

of your face.

And this is a little bit editorializing but it's a perspective as a doctor in this field

that a lot of people who are younger get very focused on certain specific areas of their

facial anatomy that they feel is undesirable.

And I often try to counsel them that at this stage of your life, this is the best you're

going to look for a while before you start hitting your third and fourth decade when

things start to lose some volume.

So it is important that yes, your character is very important.

And I think what you're looking for should be something subtle but not too dramatic.

Again, as far as the roundness of the face is concerned, I know that there would be,

if you went for consultations, someone would recommend like buccal fat extraction and I

think that it's a bit aggressive especially in a face that might be maturing or if there's

going to be anticipated weight loss for a variety of reasons.

As far as the chin is concerned, I think that thanks to the soft tissue fillers like Juvederm

Voluma, we can actually place a filler and get comparable results to a chin implant and

at the same time do it in an office setting without putting the patient through surgery.

If the patient really likes it then we can go ahead and do the chin implant and give

them one that works for them.

So certainly, there is some room to explore but at the same time, I would advise you not

to be overly critical and appreciate the many positives that go with this stage of your

life in your appearance and take it from there.

So I hope that was helpful, I wish you the best of luck and thank you for your question.

When this rain falls on my head

I'll get all wet even my heart

Stay with me I still can't be

In the rain alone without you

I'm still young, I'm still a bit scared Though I know it'll stop soon

I'm looking for you

Will it stop now? These raindrops, these tears? I don't want to get wet with rain

And tremble with cold

Some day, the cold rain Will become warm tears

And fall down, It's alright It's just a passing downpour

It's just a passing downpour It's how I feel

After I met you, I haven't lost The happy memories to the rain

When the rain stops Let's meet again

We will smile again and be together

Will it stop now? These raindrops, these tears? I don't want to get wet with rain

And tremble with cold

Some day, the cold rain Will become warm tears

And fall down, It's alright It's just a passing downpour

I'm getting all wet right now

I don't even have the strength to open an umbrella

But we know Let me just cry for a moment

As I lean on the rain So you won't see our sad tears

Now

goodbye

Jan !

from one of the viewers from hokkaido...

i received these yakisoba bento, and this is what we'll eat

i have already tried the yakisoba bento with normal taste

but this is my first time to try the salty and the spicy tastes

and i think that this yakisoba is limited just in hokkaido

the normal taste as well

yes, that's right

but i was able to try it before because of viewer from hokkaido

so thank you so much to the viewer for this gift !

and today...

i changed my room that i usually use ( the same home )

and there is no specific reason to that

so let's start with the normal taste

JA ! let's start eating

Jan ! i prepared it

and...

with the hot water of this yakisoba...

you can make a soup

it goes with this yakisoba bento

and that makes me so happy

itadakimasu

the aroma of the sauce is so rich

mmmmmmm !

the taste of the sauce is so strong

and the noodles with good texture and delicious taste

and there is plenty of cabbage as well

and it's really good the have this soup as well

like the taste of the light chinese soup

the 2nd box

we did it !

the taste of the sauce is so deep and strong

and there was plenty of cabbage and meat as well

next, this !

this is my first time to eat it !

the salty yakisoba bento

we done !

after eating the normal yakisoba...

i wonder if this going to have a different taste

i we made the soup that goes with it as well

it's lightly colored

mmmmmmm !

the salty taste is so delicious !

the salty taste is so noticeable

really good taste

i like it so much

this is better than the simple yakisoba that i'm used to eat it

the salty sauce goes so well with the seasoning

and it's really nice to have this soup as well

we did it !

next, spicy yakisoba bento

recently, the manufacturers produce a lot of spicy foods

we done

it's really in red color

to be honest, i didn't expect to be that spicy at all

it's really hurt to eat it

but it's so spicy !

iiiih !

this really needs a tea of something like that

maybe the milk...

because the milk was so effective in the last time, i'll prepare it again

and i want to mix it with eggs as well

ah !

the viewer also didn't tried it yet

but she bought that just to send it to me

and to eat it together, because she still afraid a little to try spicy food, that's what she told me in the message

this is so spicy !

but...

she told me to try it with my favorite ingredients, eggs and cheese

i will do that with the 2nd box

mmmmmmmmmmm !

this seasoning here is really...

different than the others

it's green but there is some ingredients red as well

too much !?

but even the soup itself is spicy

so spicy !

and it think the pepper make the feeling stronger

ahhh !

there is plenty of sauce

we finished the 5th

and i will eat the 2nd one with cheese and eggs

hay! this is it !

i added 1 eggs with 100g of cheese...

and about 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

oooooooh !

this looks so delicious !

hay!

like this !

is it going to make it better ! !

i think not that much !

but, it's really spicy but the taste is really good and strong

that's why it's really delicious

but it's so spicy !

hay ! mixed it with cheese

mmmmmmmmmmm !

mixing the cheese with it, made the spiciness disappear

but still a little bit of spiciness

and it's much more tasty now

cheese yakisoba !

i don't think that exist !

but it's so good !

you would try this as well ?

it's good

but in korea, it is !

- [MUKBANG] 6 Packs of Korean Cheese 'Bokki' Instant Ramen | Yuka [OoGui] - but to make the mix of this time, i use mayonnaise with eggs and cheese

i think this will get approval !

mmmmmmmmm !

and this cheese here...

you can add it even if you like the spicy sauce more, because it make it more tasty

we did it !

ah ! this so delicious

we forget to drink the soup

gochisousamadeshita

it's been awhile since i ate the yakisoba lunch boxes, but it was so delicious

and i'm so happy today to be able to try 2 new different tastes

and the spicy taste was more spicy than i thought

and it was so delicious with the mix of cheese and mayonnaise that we made it in the end

and the milk helped me so much as well

yakisoba bento is limited to just hokkaido

Dread, XBOCT, NS and ARS-ART talk about Virtus.pro and The International 2017 - Duration: 3:55.

Andryusha [Andrey] is answering questions. Scene 1, Take 1. Go!

It's just that I'm not sure if it's gonna work, but go ahead and ask your questions.

I always root for our teams.

Don't you need to shoot them after the victory?

Skittles. Very tasty.

Breathe. — No. — Breathe. — No.

Which VP player would you to take on a scouting mission?

I thought the question was about a bathhouse.

With Pasha.

I'd definitely take Ramzes666 to a bathhouse.

Because he is the bravest and smartest.

And I'd take him on a scouting mission as well.

With Ramzek.

He is the smallest.

With Solich.

People can't notice him.

He is an old friend of mine, I've known him since forever, so perhaps he is the most reliable one.

No, actually, I would take all of them on a scouting mission.

They would do all the work for me and I would just sit aside.

They would do everything better this way, they're a team after all.

Who has the best looks in VP?

Lil.

Well, I have to say No[o]ne, no mistake about that.

The correct answer is Masha.

Masha!

Ramzes. Because he is the most handsome, smart and confident 18-year-old boy I've seen in my life.

Why are you even asking? All these photos in the gym, mirror selfies…

Masha, Masha, definitely Masha!

Well, just No[o]ne.

Who is the best VP player?

A tough question.

Masha.

Lyosha [Alexey].

Pasha.

We're talking only players, right?

Because I respect offlaners a lot.

Yaroslav, that's right.

It's just that they're all good, so it's necessary to highlight somebody from the sidelines that makes them good.

So, the answer is ArtStyle.

How VP are different from other teams?

A good question.

They're a family.

The unity.

VP differ from other teams with their friendliness.

They're actual friends. You can see in the way they move, act and talk.

They're our boys.

You can see the CIS in their blood.

They run forward and move together as a team. It's great.

And nothing else.

What does VP stand for?

Ventilation approach ("Ventiljacionnyj Podhod")

Greatest guys ("Velichajshie Paren'ki")

Valentin Rooster ("Valentin Petuh")

The first thing that crossed my mind is something related to a curd tart ("vatrushka").

I don't know.

Andryusha is done answering the questions. Scene 1, Take 1.

But the most beautiful one is still me.

Curd tart and pie ("Vatrushka&Pirozhok).

Kinda stale — opponents try to eat it but break their teeth.

I wanted to ask somebody to give this man some food.

Yes, please, if it's possible, I don't get any food here.

Let's go, come with me, we have a great catering in our lounge.

Business Storytelling Techniques - Why Drive-by Stories Don't Work - Duration: 3:22.

So as a speaker, perhaps you are already committed to the idea of connecting to your audiences through great

stories...

...But maybe your stories aren't connecting at quite the level that you'd like?

If that sounds familiar, then this video is especially for you.

As an executive speaking coach, what I find when people are not getting the right kind of response from their stories...

...Nine times out of ten, it's because they're selling their audience and themselves a bit short.

What do I mean what? What I mean is that

oftentimes you'll see what I call the drive-by

story. A drive-by story is kind of a wishy-washy commitment to a story which doesn't amount to much

Where you give somebody a top-line 'here's what happened - bang, bang, bang' and the story is over before you've

started!

So last week I went to take a train from Dublin to a place called Athy, in Ireland, and when I got to

the ticket counter where you had to put your ticket in, I

saw that the train was miles away!

And I was furious because it was going to take quite a long time and we only had a few moments before that train was

due to leave.

So technically speaking that's a story, but honestly it's nowhere near as good as it could be.

Let me give you a different version of the same story:

So I went to Euston Station in Dublin recently, taking a train down to a place called Athy in Ireland,

had my ticket, went along to where you put your ticket in, and

looked up to see where my platform was supposed to be, and I can see that

it's miles away! And as I'm going down there, realizing

I've not got long before that train leaves,

there was an elderly woman beside me (nigh on eighty years old) - her name was Hannah - and she was livid!

"These folks, they're always doing that doing that! Do they expect us to walk to Waterford?"

Well ,as she was fuming, there was another fellow who was coming up beside us at a reasonable clip.

He was almost as old as hannah and he had a zimmer frame - except it was one of those little trolley type things - and

he said to her "Well, that's true. But, at least we'll get some exercise!"

Hannah look back at me and she said "Isn't it interesting

how some people can always see the good (he could see that this glass was only half full instead of half empty)?

The difference between the first and the second version of that story is that

when you bring in characters, when you bring in context, when you bring in

opportunities for your audience to feel they can identify with situations at a heightened level...

...They're much more likely to invest into it and to enjoy it! So,

here's the thing folks: Don't shortchange your audience with

'fly-by' stories. Make sure that you invite them in. You'll enjoy it more,

they will too...AND, guess what? Everybody's better off!

İlham Veren Hikayeler | Keçe Keçe - Duration: 3:26.

I am Fatma. I started to work with felt about 5 years ago

5 years ago when I got in to college, I went into a millinery by chance and I saw colorful felts

and because of attraction of their color I bought a few different color felts, went home and

start to do wallets, rosettes etc. for fun.

I opened my blog at the time. My aim is both to tell people what I do and to introduce different designs about felts to people on my blog

Afterwards what I've done started to be liked by my family. At school my friends liked them, too

Day by day I started to hear words like "why don't you sell these in here?" or "Look! If you sell these things, they are so pleased

people will like them."

A girl from Balıkesir connected with me by my blog and she asked me if I can do a pillow which she found on internet

That was exciting for me. I was doing something to a person

I do not know in a city I've never known and the process was amazing and the pillow was liked by the girl

I did my first order like that.

And then the people around me, and people who follow my blog

connected with me and started to give orders

It was cheerful for me that doing things which I love, doing things which people like

and earning money from them

For a while I started to just design my works at my home, sell them on several design bazaars and participate in festivals

About 3 years ago my work began to gain dimension and I started not being able to fit in my home

I pull aside my clothes and just stockpile supplies

My mother began a little complain about that matter and I asked myself, " I wonder can I do, can I open a studio?"

And then with courage, I opened a small studio.

In studio both I started to continue my designs and people began to demand workshops

They began to like my works more and more. My stuffs which I done began to gain different dimension

After that I began to three dimensional. I started to make different trinkets, different designs, bags with the wool felt rather than the fabric felt

the stuff I did began to attract the attention of people, because it is not known so much in Turkey

and people wanted to learn make them from me

and I began to give workshops little by little

If you like something so much and you're on its labor, it began easier to teach someone

Because I worked on it repeatedly. I haven't gotten an education about it

When I began to work on felt there were very much samples abroad

but there was no video, course or workshop

Thus, I did the stuff I made several times trying. I did the stuff which I teach

in several hours experimentally in one and half years

My studio is most supportive place of my production

When I enter here, I feel in my own world

When I shut the door, my studio become the world of fairy tales. And I forget everything out of the door

When I start to work here, I don't think anything except my work

my production become more comfortable because i stay alone with my dream world

If felt reaches somewhere in your soul, you will not give up with it

Because felt is a dependency
