Neutralizer Road Kit. Vídeo tutorial - Duration: 3:01.Today we're going to see how to install the Neutralizer Road Kit,
the version of the odour neutraliser designed for cars.
We're on our way home, and it's a lovely evening. We're enjoying a nice smoke
before we get home… we'll have to do something about this, this won't do at all!
As you've seen, there are situations where the smell can give us away.
For that reason we've got the Neutralizer Road Kit, the travel kit,
the car-kit of the Neutralizer liquid. Let's see what's inside…
Let's open the box. We've got the Neutralizer on one side, which looks very much
like a car air freshener, that connects to the 12v lighter socket
inside the vehicle. We've also got the liquid,
which we'll use to fill the unit, it's also very much like the liquid
in a home or car air freshener, and then a small instruction booklet
that tells us how to install it, which is what I'm about to do now.
Let's place the Neutralizer Road Kit near to the electric supply,
here below the dashboard in this case,
as you can see it's very close to where we're going to connect the unit.
It's really easy to install, all that's needed is to take the liquid,
open the top, and with the wick totally straight,
push the bottle into the unit.. Gently, push it all the way in, perfect.
We'll leave it fitted here and now we just need to plug it into the 12v socket.
In 5 minutes it'll be fully functional and once connected it can last us
for more or less 4 days of continuous use. We're good for a while!
Another place we can fit the Neutralizer Road Kit is just here,
where we are now, in the boot or trunk of the car. Especially if it's fitted
with a 12v socket, which will be perfect for the Neutralizer.
In this case we've put some velcro on the Neutralizer, to be able
to easily remove it to work with it if we need to change the liquid
or anything else… okay, let's put it back in its place,
connect it to the supply and it's already working.
Why fit it in the boot or trunk? Because sometimes we need to transport
a bit of weea few buds, or maybe we've just finished trimming,
with that powerful smell of cannabis that stays with us,
well the Neutralizer will get rid of it, it will eliminate it.
It's different to typical car or home air fresheners
that just try to mask the bad odours by adding more aroma.
That's not the case with the Neutralizer, which eliminates precisely those smells.
There it is, the definitive solution for grass in the car is the Neutralizer Road Kit.

DCS: F-5E Tiger II AIM-9P & AIM-9P5 - #8 Tutorial - English subtitles - Duration: 18:21.hi and welcome again to revientor reborn, this is DCSw and this is a F-5 Spanish cammo
It´s from the old 21 wing, current 11 wing, the 21 wing was formed with F-5 for that is this cammo in DCSw
we are going to speak about the AIM-9, we can only carry 2 of them in the wing tips
the version is the P model, it´s a thermal guidance
the p is only rear aspect, but the p5 model can be fired in all aspect in theory
today are better missiles like the M model or X model
the rear aspect is kind of this "look" from the camera, if you see the target in this aspects or like the picture you usually can shoot
you also can fire it in from in this other view
head on imposibile like now
in this view you can shoot and it´s kind of front shooting
in the top is more difficult but it could
now in the ckpit, the basic controls are the next ones
first this panel is the weapons panel,
remember you only can carry two missiles and must be on the wing tip station
for that this switch are yellow, because only can carry sidewinders
to activate the missiles the switch must be up
the same with the booms, all those swith are for munnitions
this knob is for the missile volume, to hear the lock sound of the missile
lisent
you can raise or lower the sound
there is another important switch with a red cover, the switch is not well visible, but it´s there, in the middle position is off, and you can down the cover
in the down position only the camera circuit is working, it´s a kind of master arm, this will be a safe for the missiles, and the upper position activate the camera and missiles
the idea it that I am at FLT100 there is other F5 in front, and I want to show to you how the missile works with the radar
first of all I have to search the enemy, for that I will keep the antenna centered
and I will switch the radar scale to 20nm
well... 40 for the moment I will wait
visually it´s a very small plane you almost barely can see it
when I have the contact locked I will have indication in the radar and the HUD
we keep the HUD in MSL mode
sorry I push off, but now is on and the circle represent the missile seeker
with this knob I can increase/decrease the illumination of the HUD
and the modes AA1 and AA2 work with the cannon
the MSL is for the missiles
I am searching for the contact, must be here in front
I will cut the video if it´s necessary... xD
as a way to scan in the radar, each time the radar bar hit one lateral of the screen you can move the antenna
find a small target with this small radar it´s difficult to see it on radar
vs an F18 will be easier, but F5 is small target
because the scan area is also very small all the factor complicate the pilot life
I have tally I don´t know if you see the contact there in front...
thee it´s in the radar, now time to lock the contact
there is the contact locket, I am going to pause to explain this
firs of all, the circle, with radarlock have a new parameter inside the circle, that is the range, in the radar you can see also the lecture, LKon because you have a lock in a contact
I will show to you all the parameter using the pause
as you can see I am out of range, and remember that missile tone
now I am in range, you can see it in the radar , in the HUD you have this small mark to indicate in range
when the circle is full filled to the top, the range minimal will show a light
the tone is the same, now I want to show to you the ExG signal
there you can see the EX Gs as you can see in the radar in yellow, 10 Gs
in the HUD it´s represented also with that small mark below the circle
Ex G load make that you can not fire the missile
now if I fired the missile will not be released
because is for the missile is not in condition to be fired
the missile is connected with a rail and that rais can not support the release at 10 timpe the weight of the missile in this case
because there are two missiles you have to trim when you release one missile
you can manage where station will shoot only turning off the switch
if you want to shoot the right missiles, you turn of the left one and ready
Iam going to test... ok the Ex G do not allow to fire the missile
there is the contact again, see the contact still in gante steady light,
you can not see it but now because we are too close the range light on the radar is flashing,
I will do it again
there it is, almost in range, now with less speed than before,
the contact is in front
you can use any mode to see this
did you notice the change in the audio missile tone? now I have a good tone to fire a few second before was not
pay attention to the tone now when the target is inside the circle
pay attention in the range lecture of the radar
in the HUD will get other mark to show that we are too close
did you see it?
in the HUD you can see in the upper par a new mark, the too close mark
again go back to get the lock from the distance
target lock again
as you can see you can shoot a missile out of range
that tone is from the fired missile that we have the good tone
as you can see now I have to trim left
by default the left missile is the first one to be fired
i have tone... range not yet... now
now firing I have to get a kill
the enemy do not drop any flares then he will die
this is not too complex, there is a button, importan, I did not used for the moment
the uncage, while pressing that button, the seeker will move free, if you have radarlock, the seeker will lock where the radar is pointing and you will get to shoot the missile not only with the enemy inside your hud you will be able to shoot at your 1 o´clock
let see how it works
the target is locked, I will try to keep the same target speed
now that I have a good tone, I will point down and use the uncage function to see if I get the tone again
it´s working, but it do not have too much boresight
push, release, push. As you can see the tone change
look where the missile goes, the target is out of my HUD
I would like to find a pic of the angular search of the seeker and you will be able to fire in that area
the system is very simple, only arme the wingtips, the "master arm"the MSL hud mode
and the in range, exGs, too close range... in the hud and radar
give me a like if you liked, subscribe and I hope see you soon, be happy

Your hair will become very fragrant
If you hate strong fragrance like me
Just be patience for that
After drying, your hair will be very fragrant and nice
I'm very sure for that
Lastly, what I dislike about this product is..
Why it did not include hair conditioner?
You need to use your own hair condition
Which is I think it's not a big deal
My favorite part is
It is very fragrant
Like I just sai
After drying, your hair becomes very fragrant
If you're going to date
Or go to dinner party
Meeting friends
Your hair smell nice
And you have confident
Which is very great
Also, my favorite part is

Escribiendo la Historia de la Libertad (Sub - Eng, Esp) - Duration: 8:56.With every bullet l shoot in Raqqa,
I am breaking the mentality of ISIS.
I take revenge fot these women and girls
and destroy this brutality.
I want to write the history of freedom in this war.
We will free the Yezidi girls and women.
I want to see freedom in their eyes.
And I will give my heart and my soul,
because our pain was the same
and so I also want to make our struggle the same.
And we will bring them to Shengal.
My name is Hêza.
I am from Shengal.
When the attack on Shengal happened,
when the Yezidi women and girls were kidnapped,
I was one of them.
I also fell in their hands.
Aftger we were captured, we were brought to Til Afat.
We stayed in Til Afat for same time.
More precisely, they kept us in al jail.
We lived in prison.
Later they were separating the girls and women from children and men.
When we were taken they brought us to jail.
They separated girls from their mothers
but also women from men.
Especially they separated pretty girls
and took them with themselves.
So some time stayed in Til Afat,
two, three motnths or something.
Later they brought us to Raqqa.
In Raqqa we stayed again in prison.
If someone came, he would take a pretty one with himself.
to sell her or to kep her for himself.
to his own service.
When we came to Raqqa, all my family members were taken.
I had been taken together with my family,
my sisters, my cousins, my brother´s wife and also my uncle´s wife
we all had been taken together and brought to Raqqa.
When we came to Raqqa, we were separated
girls were broght to one place,
women to another.
and children to another place.
When we were separated
we were all separated, they didn´t let anyone stay together
everyone of them took someone with himself.
I was also taken to a house.
I was there with 2, 3 others.
After I came to this house, I drink pharmaceuticals.
I said, that I won´t stay in their hands.
I drank pharmaceuticals twice,
once I swallowed pills.
Because I was sure, that I won´t live with them.
After I had taken the medicine, their hate was growing.
My hate was growing too.
I had drunken pharmaceuticals, so they were angry.
They said, for exemple:
"Why don´t you accept this religión?"
Because I didn´t accept their religión.
They wanted me t oread the Koran,
so I wouldn´t stay Yezidi.
But also I didn´t read the Koran.
I knew, it´s no tours.
This is why they beat Yezidi
girls, woman and children.
Who didn´t do what they were told to
was beaten.
Who did what they were told to, then they didn´t say any thing.
Because we were not with them and didn´t listen to them
they would do anyting to us.
Beating, torture…everything.
After I had stayed in this house for a while.
someone else come and took me.
When I got sick,
they brought me to someone else fron the same family.
This family gave me medicine, so they brought me to their doctor.
Then I stayed some months in this family.
Then again someone else came and took me.
Brought me to another place,
from there someone else took me away.
Then I was alone in a house.
I thouht, either I will be rescued
Or they will beat me or kill me
Or they will sell me.
I thought about these possibilities and got our of the house.
When I got out the house,
I went to merket área and searched for someone who knows Kurdish.
When I found someone I was very happy.
Because it has been a long time I didn´t hear Kurdish language.
After we had been caught.
When I Heard Kurdish, I was very happy and started talking.
I said: " I am Yezidi".
When I said this, he cried.
It was an old man.
He cried and said: "What do you want?".
I answered, that I wanted to get away from Raqqa and asked him:
"Can you bring me away from here?".
He said: "Come to ourr house."
He brought me to his old wife.
When I told her, that I am Yezidi, she also cried.
Abouth half an hourd they were both crying.
When I said, that I am Yezidi, both of them said:
Whatever you want, be i tours soul.
we will give to you!"
I answered, that I wanted to get out of Raqqa.
But that I didn´t want any harn for them.
When I said this, they cries again and promised me to help me out of the city.
This mother and father put me in their car
together with their own children and brought me out of Raqqa.
They gave me to another family.
and told them to transfer me to Kurdish forces.
And so they did.
When I arrived at the Kurdish forces,
I truly flet somethings vey special.
My feelings for them were so big,
when I saw them and I was so happy to arrive there.
When I joined, my goal was….
I stayed in Raqqa for so long time and I saw so much pain
and shared it with these girls and mothers in Raqqa.
So my goal was revenge for them
and freedom from the hands of ISIS.
That´s why I joined the armed forces.
So many mothers are still under their control.
And so many girls have been sold in the streets of Raqqa.
And have been tortured.
So many children are still there…
So that was my goal, when I joined YJS,
the Yezidi Women´s Army.
When I came to Raqqa, the place, where I suffered all the torture
and pain and sickness, that was really paintfull for me.
But when some áreas were liberated, this was very special for me,
Tebqa and Raqqa as well.
And also when I went to the footholds…
For Yezidi girls and woman I will take revenge.
When the operation started, I said:
I also will fight in Raqqa.
With every bullet I shoot in Raqqa,
I am breaking the mentality of ISIS
and taking revenge for all the woman.
I am breaking this brutality.
The slavery Yezidi women and girls are living in Raqqa,
and I was one for them, I lived this too,
but I want in this city and in this fight
to write a history of frredom.
We decided to participate in this offensive
to liberate the Yezidi girls and women
I want to see freedom in their eyes.
And I will give my heart and my soul,
because our pain was the same
and so I also want to make our struggle.
And we will bring the to Shengal.

Working with a Publishing Consultant - Duration: 4:28.Hi there.
I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.
Today I am going to talk about working with a publishing consultant.
A publisher, or an association or society, or any other content creator might work with
a consultant on a variety of projects.
The group might be interested in a high-level analysis of their publishing program or to
help determine the future direction of the organization.
Or they might work on a more focused tactical effort on business development or the acquisitions
process, editorial or production workflow, or the sales and marketing efforts.
The consultation might be focused on books, journals, or digital properties.
The efforts might be print focused, or in the electronic format, or both.
Full disclosure, I am a publishing consultant.
To get started, a publisher or an organization needs to know what the focus of the effort
will be.
Creating a statement of need will serve the publisher well, in addition to being important
to the consultant.
The statement of need will describe the current issue or situation, discuss the desired outcome,
timeframe, and the budget.
Sometimes the engagement with a consultant might be about the future and therefore the
desired outcome is less than defined.
Other times the end result might be more tactical, such as the issuing of an RFP and receiving
publishing proposals, or launching a new product.
Once this needs statement is created, the next step is connecting with consultants to
consider.
If someone at the association or publisher does not have a direct connection with a consultant
already, then they might turn to a web search or a publishing or association trade group.
When potential consultants have been identified, I suggest calls with the candidate to start
the process.
The needs statement can be presented in a phone call, an email, or in a more formal
Request for Proposal or Information.
Conversations with candidates should center around the experience the consultant might
have in that area, initial impressions of possible approaches to solutions, schedule
and availability, and the budget.
When selecting a publishing consultant, the rapport or relationship becomes a key factor
in the project's success.
This chemistry as well as a deep understanding of the current situation to be examined will
serve both parties well and should serve as an important decision point for the publisher,
equal to as budgets, schedules, or deliverables.
Moving forward will likely require a non-disclosure agreement, a proposal from the consultant,
and a letter of agreement.
All of this, however, starts with the statement of need so allot proper time for this step.
A proposal from a publishing consultant should state clear objectives for the engagement
and have defined deliverables with agreed upon outcomes.
Also, having buy-in from all parties involved is essential.
Once a project has commenced, the consultant will want a key contact to help them navigate
within the organization to get the information and access they need.
There should be frequent status reports or discussions about the progress so there are
no surprises at the end.
When the deliverable is ready and the project is near completion, an initial call or face-to-face
meeting will help to clearly and succinctly present what is often complex materials or
findings.
It allows for a dialogue about the work and helps lay the groundwork for the next steps
by the association or publisher.
When the final report or deliverable has been reviewed by all parties, then another call
or meeting might be necessary to dig deep into details not initially discussed.
Publishing consultants can help bring a neutral perspective to a situation, or bring outside
market knowledge that does not exist in an organization.
A consultant might help launch a project or increase the bandwidth during a challenging
period.
Of course, I am a publishing consultant and I would welcome having a call about any needs
you have.
Or drop me an email.
Well that's it.

I Hope There Are People Like Me | Short Film - Duration: 6:36.I was born smart and skinny
yet
failed to calculate the risks under my feet
Achieving medals of intellect since I was born
but
slowly discovering art
Maybe
I was gifted
Maybe I was not
But I never knew what I wanted to
They say I'm smart and intelligent
but I never could believe it
and I never will
I'm hopeless and under-confident
and I consider myself as an average
I always will
They say my brain works differently
I believe them because
I overthink
I overthink a lot
I think all the time.
It isn't a habit
it's a disease
A very
painful
disease
My thoughts start with
"what if.."
and they never end
My thoughts are filled with doubts
and anger
and unsatisfying conclusions
I hate it
I can't stop
Sometimes, my thoughts tend to consume my time
and sometimes
me
This "disease"
is incurable
It just keeps growing, like a tumor
One day
this "disease" will consume all of me
and one day
I'll just be a hollow body
I'm afraid of change
the continuously occurring changes
not only the troubles and discoveries, but
also what is happening with my life
All these various events taking place continuously
can be categorized under a single word
I like to call it
Chaos
Not because it sounds cool or
vaguely means the same
But because it gives me a chill of fear that
Time not only rushes
in the forward direction
but also consumes anything
that comes in its way
That if thought upon
quite literally means
time consumes everything
I'm afraid of the chaos
afraid
that time will consume everything
one day
A small part of me
is evil
a small part of me
has an urge to smoke
they say its comforting
they say its
soothing
I want to feel comforted
I want to feel soothed
I want to ease my pain
But at the same time
I don't
I'm afraid of the addiction
I hate addiction
I hate the cravings of addiction
I hate anything
that starts an addiction
Addictions
are as agonizing as poison
Addiction of anything
is one key
to destroying yourself
I don't want to
But this is me
And I hope there are people like me

Today is 'Ipchu' here in Korea.
It's a seasonal term meaning the start of autumn, according to the lunar calender.
But the weather is still boiling us, especially in the south, which has been issued with heatwave
warnings.
Other parts of the world are also experiencing this unseasonably hot weather.
Over in Southern Europe, countries such as Italy have seen highs of up to 40 degrees
Celsius.
While, some countries in the Middle East, have had temperatures of over 50 degrees Celsius.
Back in Korea, at this time, the sky is cloudy nationwide, and due to the unstable atmosphere,...
we are expecting torrential rain concentrated in the central region, with around 5 to 50
millimeters of rain until tonight.
Tomorrow morning, Seoul will start the morning at 26 degrees Celsius, while Daegu and Busan
begin with 26 and 27 degrees.
Highs will be a few notches down topping in Seoul at 31, Gwangju and Busan will be slightly
hotter, reaching up to 33 degrees.

YALC 2017 Book Haul! [CC] - Duration: 17:14.Hi everyone, it's Lily, and today I'm going to be doing my YALC book haul.
So YALC stands for the young adult literature convention which is a
three-day literature convention held in conjunction with London Film and Comic
Con. This was my second year attending and I had the best time. I got to hang out
with my YALC squad from last year as well as Maddie and Bee from HeartFullOfBooks,
Carys from CarysOnReading and Kate from GirlReading all over the weekend,
it was so nice to spend time with them and just to hang out and chat about
books and also run for arcs, that was a very big part of the weekend. I told myself this
year that I wasn't gonna get a lot of books, I was like I've done my first year I've
done that thing of getting a lot of books, I'm going to relax, but I got 19. That's
almost double what I got last year which is just bad. But this year there were a
lot more ARCS at YALC and a lot more like highly anticipated arcs as well.
Every ARC I got this year I am genuinely interested in whereas last year when I
got ARCS I feel like I just got them because they were ARCS and I was just like
excited to have them. So I am pretty happy with what I got, I'm going to run
through these really quickly as there are so many books. I will leave links in the
description box down below if you want to find out more about the books that I
talk about today We're going to run through the finished copies that I got
first and then we'll move on to ARCS at the end. So the first few books i got i
actually got before YALC and they were kind of gift from friends and stuff like
that because they were doing clear outs or whatever. So the first book i got was
a gift from my friend Demet who stayed with me over the weekend, she works at a
book production company and sometimes she will just give me a book that she
saw and thought of me when she saw it and the one she got me this time made me so
happy and that is Dogs Rough and Smooth by Lucy Dawson. This is essentially just
a picture book with some commentary about Lucy Dawson's illustrations of
dogs and if you guys don't know, I love dogs. I love cats as well but I am
definitely a dog person, I grew up with dogs. So like there's just little drawings here
and I don't know if I am I going to read this cover to cover but I am just really
happy to have this because it's always good to have a book about dogs on your shelf.
The next book I got was a gift from my friend Kalie,
this was actually one of my favorite books of the year so far and she saw
that I'd really loved it and was going to a signing with the author in the US,
where she lives in California, and she basically got me a copy and got it
signed for me which was so lovely and so special to me because this book isn't
actually published over in the UK so the author probably is never going to come
over. So I was so so thrilled that she got this for me and that is When the Moon
was Ours by Anna-Marie McLemore. I read this quite recently and I did a reading
recap so if you want to my thoughts you can go check that out but
yeah she got this signed by Anna-Marie for me. The signature says 'To Lily, sending you
much love, magic and abrazos from California, Anna-Marie. I'm really sorry
if i butchered that word, I looked it up and it means hugs which is just really cute.
So I now own two copies of this and I am going to be doing a giveaway of my
second copy that isn't signed. The next book I got was Everything I Never Told You by
Celeste Ng and this was given to me by Julianne who was at the pre-YALC meet up
and helped organize it and she was basically just doing clear out and this
was in her pile and I was like 'can I, can I have that please?' because it has been on
my Amazon wish list for a little while. This is an adult literary novel and it is about
an Asian American family and it's kind of like a mystery thriller I think kind
of thing. And this takes place after one of the daughters of the family dies and
is found in a lake and everything kind of takes off from there. And the final
book that was given to me by a friend was given to me by my friend Jim over at YA-
yeahyeah and he is just so lovely and I love seeing him at all the events and he
again was doing a clear out and I just kinda wanted one of the books in his
pile and he brought it to me at YALC and that is Far from You by Tess Sharpe. So
this is a young adult thriller novel I think and this basically is about a girl
who after her best friend dies doesn't quite believe the police and their kind
of conclusion as to why she died so she decides to investigate for herself and I
know that this book has rep for chronic illness or a chronic disability,
drug addiction and also bisexuality and I've heard it's really really good so I thought I
might as well get it as it was free. And then I'm just going to quickly talk about
two samplers, there were a ton of samplers at YALC and I only picked up two because
I'm really not a big sampler person and I just got these because they're not
coming out for ages and I am highly anticipating them so I just kind of like
having them in my collection. The first is Children of Blood and Bone
by Tomi Adeyemi and this is a YA fantasy I believe inspired by West
African mythology which I'm always here for fantasy novels that are inspired
like not by medieval Europe because let's be honest it's kind of tired at
this point. And I really don't know too much about the plot here, I know there's magic
involved and I'm just here for it. And then the other sampler I got was Floored
which is written by 7 UKYA authors and this is out I think around this time next
year in July 2018. And so this is basically The Breakfast Club meets One
Day, that's what it's been marketed as and it's basically a book told from 7 different
perspectives about the same day so that sounds really interesting, I don't know
what the plot is. So it just sounds like it's going to be
really interesting and I was quite happy to pick this up. So now we move on to
the finished copies that I bought at YALC, so I bought a couple of things from the
waterstones on site at YALC and then I've also bought a couple things from the
publishers because they have cheaper deals. So the first book that I bought
from waterstones was a book that is actually an early copy, however it is
coming out on the 10th of August so is that very soon and that is A Change is
Gonna Come which is published by Striples. And this is an anthology featuring
12 BAME authors and it features short stories and poetry written by those
authors and all around the theme of change. I am so excited that this book is
being published, there is a real lack in the UKYA industry of BAME authors
being published and spotlighted so I am so happy that this exists. I am currently
reading it as you can tell I'm about 120 pages in and I'm absolutely loving it.
Every short story I've read so far has been fantastic and I am just really enjoying
it, I'm so glad this exists, so if you are interested in this book I would highly
recommend picking it up on the 10th of August. And then another early copy that
I got from waterstones on site was The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by
Lauren James and like this cover honestly is so good This is a YA
sci-fi story about girl called Romy and she is the last girl left on this
spaceship that was going from Earth to seek out this kind of second place in
the universe for people on earth to live and so she's very lonely and she makes a
connection with a guy on another ship that is leaving Earth to go look for a
second planet and they start talking online and falling in love online. And that
just sounds really cool because it's like exploring online relationships but like
through sci-fi and I love books that explore kind of stuff. And there's also another plot
to do with some strange messages coming from earth and I've just heard the plot of
this is really really fantastic so I'm really looking forward to this. The next
book that I got from the Gollancz stand was Graceling by Kristen Cashore. Now this
is a book that I have seen on booktube for years and I've always had my eye on
it, it just seems like something I would really like. So this is about a girl who
was born into this world where people have exceptional skills which are called
Graces and her Grace is that she can kill people, very well i assume. But she
doesn't want to and so everything kind of takes off from there. To be honest, that's all I know
about it but everything I've heard about it from people who I really trust has
been really really great, I know this is the first in a companion trilogy which
also kind of appeals to me because like I don't have to read the other ones but I can
if I love this so I'm very happy to own this finally and hopefully
I can get to it at some point in the near future. The next book I got was a book I
got because I saw the author talk on the panel which was writing for social
change and I just loved everything she said. And that is Troublemakers by
Catherine Barter. This is set in London, it is about a 15 year old girl who is an
orphan and she was raised by her brother and his boyfriend and this is basically
about what happens when their area is threatened by this bomber and also her
brother starts to work for this very controversial politician and she starts to
find out more about her mother who was a political activist and I just think that
that sounds really interesting that there is a book that is talking a lot
about politics. And when I posted that I got this on Twitter so many people said
it was brilliant and Carys who I saw over the weekend a lot has read this and she
said it was really really good so I'm very excited to own this. The next book I got
was one that I'd been sort of eyeing all weekend and I've been eyeing for a little
while and Maddie and Bee have read this and said that it's really really good. And
then my friend basically slept in when she really wanted an ARC and so I got it
for her and then in repayment she got me this. And that is Lorali by Laura Dockrill. I just
really love this cover and I first heard about this on Leena Norms' channel and
she just made it sound so good. I know that the author started in poetry so I think
the writing this could be really beautiful, I've heard it's quirky, it's
about a mermaid who washes up in a town called Hastings on the south coast of
England and she kind of wants to be human and it kind of sounds like a bit
like a little mermaid retelling. It sounds kind of weird and quirky which
sounds quite appealing to me and I thought I'd give it a go.
The next one is another one I got from the waterstones on site because a few
people said it was really good and I had again like Graceling been kind of
eyeing it up for a while and I just decided to go for it. And that is Wolf by Wolf by Ryan
Graudin. So this is a YA I think alternative
historical novel and this is about a girl who is a shapeshifter.
And she enters this motorcycle competition where the winner gets to
meet Hitler because the Nazis won the war in this alternate history and this
is basically about the fact that she wants to kill Hitler, so she's trying
to win this competition so she can meet him and then kill him. I'm very intrigued
to see how this handles the alternat history. The final finished book that I
picked up at YALC, I picked up from the Scholastic stand. Basically a lot of
publisher stands have 2 for £10 pound deals or 3 for £10 pound deals but a lot
of the time you only want one book from a publisher and so what me Carys and Kate
decided to do was we kind of walked around and wanted to see if there was
any publisher stand where we wanted a book each so we could kind of get the
deal that way and only pay about three pounds for a book. And we
went to the Scholastic stand and they had a book that we each wanted so we only payed
like three pounds per book, it was a good time. And the book I got was George
by Alex Gino. So this is a middle grade novel about a young trans girl called
George and she really wants to play Charlotte in the school play for
Charlotte's Web but the teacher won't let her because they believe she is a boy
and basically it's about her and her best friend trying to convince the teachers
about who she is and coming out to everyone and I've heard it's just really
heartwarming and really good, it is very short and the text is really big in it so I
think I'm going to save this for a read-a-thon, but I'm really excited to
get to it what I do. Next we're gonna move on to some of the ARCS I got. So
last year at YALC there were ARCS but a lot of them like weren't too anticipated or
we didn't really know they were going to be there beforehand. But this time
there are a lot more ARCS and I feel like it felt a bit more like what I imagine BEA
feels like, like there were drops and competitions you had to do and things
like that. I did get about eight which I'm really excited about so let's get
into it. So the first ARC that I got is actually
already out bu I got an ARC copy. Basically there was a stand, I don't really know who
they were but they were giving away a lot of ARCS that were American arcs and are
books that are not being published over here or currently don't have a
publishing deal over in the UK. So I saw this book and it had been on my amazon
wishlist for ages but I hadn't got it because it's quite expensive because it
wasn't being sold over here officially. And so what I got was a Girl out of Water
by Laura Silverman. So this is a YA contemporary novel I believe it's kind
of like a summer romance-y kind of book. And this is about a girl who is a surfer
from Santa Cruz in California and due to an accident with her Aunt she has to
move to Nebraska for the summer to help take care of her Aunt's family and she
meets a boy there who is a skateboarder and so she kind of gets into that. I've heard
that this has really great representation, I think there is
disability rep in here or something along those lines and I've heard it's
all really really great. The next book I got I really don't know too much about, I
just kind of grabbed it but it does sound really interesting and that is The
Sacrifice Box by Martin Stewart. So this comes out in January of 2018 and this is
about a group of friends who basically find this magical box, I assume it's
magical, and they make these sacrifices to it and they agree to these terms that they
can never like go to the box at night and stuff like that and then someone
four years later breaks kind of the pact and everything takes off from there.
I've heard that this is for fans of Stranger Things,
now don't hate me I haven't watched Stranger Things. I do think I will really
like Stranger Things and I do intend to watch it at some point so
I think I will really like this. The next ARC I picked up was pretty easy to pick up
to be honest the publisher was giving away like 150 copies a day. And that is
The Fandom by Anna Day. So this is being released in January of 2018 as
well and this is about a group of friends who are going to comic-con and
through circumstances when they are at comic-con I believe they get launched into
their favorite fandom and they kind of have to survive it and it all sounds
quite interesting and I really like stuff that talks about fandom,
so it sounds like it could be really fun. A lot of people have been reading
this since YALC and saying it's really good so I'm really interested to see what this
is like. The next ARC I got was also from that kind of American publisher stand
and I was really excited to see this on here, I think I saw this in a few BEA
hauls and it sounded really interesting. And that is Beasts Made of Night by Tochi
Onyebuchi, I probably completely butchered that i am so sorry. And so this is another YA
fantasy novel that is inspired by Nigerian
mythology I believe which as I said before just really appeals to me and I'm
so happy that there are more YA fantasies out there that are kind of inspired by
different cultures that are not just European. This is basically about sin and I
think the main character in this is a Sin Eater and he gets into some sort of
trouble with that, I don't know too much about the plot. It's pretty short so I'm quite
excited that I picked this up, it just sounds like something that is quite different
and I think it'll be really great. The next ARC I have to talk about I think was the
first ARC that I picked up, and it was just sitting on the Bloomsbury stand and
they were really easy going you could just like pick it up. I didn't know this was actually
going to be it at YALC, but I was really happy to get a copy of it and that is
Moonrise by Sarah Crossan. So I read One by Sarah Crossan last year and I
really liked it, she writes in verse, so this book is also written in verse and this
is about a boy whose brother has been on death row for a few years I think and he
finally gets his date where he is going to die. So they kind of make plans to
spend time together and this book kind of follows that which I didn't know when
I picked this up and then I read the blurb and I was just like, that sounds like something I
would really like and that sounds really interesting so I'm really glad that I
managed to get a copy of this and this is out in September. The next book I got
was one I wasn't even aware of before the weekend but Maddie and Bee and
Carys were all really excited about this ARC and they also managed to get a copy. I
didn't think I was going to get this because it was so kind of hyped and
there was a lot of rush for it whenever there were ARC drops. But on the Sunday
when everything was a lot more chilled and there were less people, I was just walking
past the electric monkey stand and a couple people were just like holding up
this Instagram photo frame and if you did that and took a picture and posted it
on Twitter you could get an ARC and there was only like two
people there so I went up and I was like 'can I do it?' and they were really chill
and let me do it so I got the ARC. So the ARC was The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura
Steven. So this comes out in I think March 2018 and this is about a girl who
gets involved with a politician's son and then I think something gets filmed and
then leaked onto the Internet and this book talks a lot about slut-shaming and
I've heard it's super super feminist and actually people have been like 'you're
really gonna enjoy this' and it sounds like something I would really enjoy.
It's been blurbed by Louise O'Neill and so even though I wasn't aware of this book and
like didn't know too much about it when I picked it up I'm so excited that I got
this. The next I got I was super super excited that I managed to get, so this is published by
Andersen Press and it was the one that I knew I really wanted at that weekend and
they did a competition where you kind of had to write a protest statement and take
a picture of it and post it on Twitter with a certain hashtag and they would pick
five winners every day at like the end of the day and so I was one of the five
winners on the Friday which is really exciting. And I managed to get Things
A Bright Girl Can Do by Sally Nicholls. So this comes out in September 2017 and
this is about three friends who get involved in the Suffragette movement,
this is a historical fiction novel, and there is also an F/F relationship and
like that's all I know, but honestly like gay sufragettes is all I need to know
because that just really appeals to me and I think that this is going to be
great. The next one I got, I got from HQ on the first day as well and I was quite
lucky because the rest of the weekend they did like very kind of hard to get
ARC drops of this like there was just queues and queues and queues of people for it. I
just kind of sneaked in on the first day in the early rush for ARCS and I was just like: 'can I... can
I have that one?' and they just like gave it to me which was really nice. And that
is City of Brass by S.A Chakraborty and this is basically a YA fantasy inspired
by Middle Eastern mythology and this is about a girl who is a con woman
I think like a con artist and she gets involved in the magic of this world and
she doesn't quite believe in it at first, but she ends up getting mixed up in it and
everything kind of takes off from there as far as I'm aware with the plot. This is was
one I was aware of before YALC and actually I was really anticipating and
so when I saw that HQ like just had ARCS sitting on the table and I could just
get one I was so so happy to pick it up. This is out I think in the US in the
autumn of this year but it's not out in the UK until spring 2018 so I'm really
excited that I got an arc of this. And then the final arc I'm going to talk
about today was one that if anyone like was there with me at
YALC or like talked to me at YALC, they knew that I wanted this book. Luckily on the
Saturday I was sitting in a panel quite near to the aisle and they put on twitter
that they were dropping ARCS of this, and so me and my friend Annalise just ran
to the table and she actually got me a copy. So that was really lovely and so I got
The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert. So this is one that I think is already
really hyped, I think this is out in February of 2018 and this is YA fantasy
novel again it's about a girl whose grandmother is kind of very famous for
writing these like dark fairy tales and it's about what happens when her grandma
dies and then her mother I think gets kidnapped by this like super fan of
her grandmother's work and she has to go to The Hazel Wood which is her
grandmother's estate to try and fix it and there's like magic involved and
everything like that. It just sounds like something really great, I really love
fairy tales and I love the cover and also it's already been bought by Sony
Pictures for a major film release, so I think this is one is going to be really hyped, so
I do want to read this soon before like that picks up so I can have my own
opinions but I'm so happy that I managed to get a copy of this. So yeah guys that
was my YALC book haul. I didn't vlog the event because I just wasn't feeling like
it but I do I know turn up in a couple of Maddie and Bee's vlogs so I'll
link them down below if you are interested in watching them. If you
went to YALC let me know, let me know how your weekend was and what you managed to
pick up there I would love to know. Also let me know which of these books you
think I should get to first because there's so many I want to read and I just, I
don't know what to read first they all sound so great. I hope you guys are all having a
lovely day and I'll see you soon in another video, bye guys!

Formal Offer Letter & Contract Breakdown (FREE Template Download) - Duration: 3:37.- At x27 we're constantly hiring.
I'd say we make an offer to one
or two contractors every month.
We just hired another one to join our sales team
and in today's video I wanna run through
the exact offer letter and contract template that we use.
You guys can grab it.
The link is down in the description below.
Feel free to use this for your own offers.
Let's jump in to it.
Here's the exact offer letter template that we use.
We start of with Dear Contractor Name,
we're delighted to extend this contract
for the outsourced position
of Business Development Associate.
Please review the summary of terms and conditions
and that's the main intro.
Normally this comes after the interview
then they meet with our co-founder
and then this contract covers the initial month.
That first month that we use to test
whether they're a good fit at a lower rate
before we give them a full contract.
We start off by running through what their title is,
what their position is, and then we add
this exclusivity here.
I don't know how many of our contractors
actually follow this but we put it
in the contract anyway which says that if they work
for x27 they're not gonna engage in any other contract
or consulting or business activity
that would create a conflict of interest.
I like my contractors to be able to do their own thing
but what we don't wanna run into is a contractor
working on marketing for digital agencies
with x27 and then doing the exact same thing
for digital agencies with their own agency
at the exact same time.
That seems like it would split their effort
a little bit too much.
Then they go through the compensation.
This is how we phrase the initial contract rate.
This guy got 2,000 dollars to cover his first 30 days
and then after that it'll probably jump up
to about 3,000 a month depending on how he does.
Then we go through the fact that it will require
about 40 hours per week for this contract.
We go into contractor benefits
where we talk about our vacation policy
which actually doesn't exist.
I don't know why we're referencing this.
Might have to write a vacation policy here.
Then we have this section of the contract
which basically says that we can terminate the contract
at any time for any reason with or without cause
and then basically this sentence is legalese
that says anything that we talked about
before this contract doesn't really matter.
This contract is the only thing
that matters in the relationship
which is important for contracts
'cause you don't want people to sue you
based on something you said before the contract was signed.
Unfortunately, it's just a reality of business.
That's just the way people are sometimes.
Then we have another section about termination here.
Just talking about how we can terminate
at anytime with no notice and that sort of stuff.
The United States typically has at will employment
for full time employees which basically means
any company can fire anybody at any time
for any reason that doesn't have to do
with discrimination.
There's some special laws around that.
For contractors, there's even fewer laws
in terms of you can just end a contract
at anytime depending on what's in the contract.
Some people like to contract people
for a full year or full six months.
In my experience there is no need for that.
People will sign a month to month contract
if you present it to them.
For privacy we just talk about how they won't be able
to spread anything that we give them.
It's kind of like an NDA paragraph.
For taxes since they're contractors
they pay all their own taxes and we have that written here.
Then this last part talks about how nothing
in this contract can be changed
or amended unless it's added to this contract
as an amendment and signed.
Then they can accept the offer down here
and the signatures.
That is the template that we use.
Feel free to modify this.
Use it as your own contract template.
I have to legally say that you should get a lawyer
to look over any contracts before you send them out.
This is what's worked for us though.
If you like this type of video
feel free to like it to encourage this type
of content on YouTube.

Thanks.
