Trump: I'm very disappointed in Mitch.

But if he gets these bills passed, I'll be very happy

with him, I'll be the first to admit it.

But honestly, repeal and replace of Obamacare

should've taken place.

Trump: But I said, Mitch, get to work and let's get it done

Trump: For our friends in the Senate - oh boy.

Trump: They lost by one vote.

For a thing like that to happen is a disgrace.

The Russia story is a total fabrication.

Tax reform - hopefully they get that done.

Crowds: Drain the swamp! Drain the swamp!

McConnell: There are not the votes in the Senate,

as I've said repeatedly to the president

and to all of you, to change the rules of the Senate.

And nobody wants me to talk about your other senator,

who's weak on borders, weak on crime.

So I won't talk about him.

So with Donald Trump in the White House,

Senate Republicans will build on the work we've done

and pass more bills into law than any Senate in years.

We have over 200 bills.

Crowds: Boo

And we have to speak to Mitch and we have to speak to everybody.

Modder Removes Final Fantasy VIII's Gerogero Censorship | CG News - Duration: 2:27.

Final Fantasy VIII, the 8th mainline entry in Square's Final Fantasy series, experienced

a few censorship-related changes when the title was released outside of Japan back in

1999.

The censorship differs depending on what region you are from -with the UK version having a

few additional changes, due to the country's rules around depicting certain ninja-based

weapons during this period of time.

For most versions though, including the US release, Final Fantasy VIII made changes to

an instance of blood on one of the game's backgrounds, which was changed from red to

green, as well as changes to one of the game's bosses, who had the colour of their body changed

from red to blue.

Up until now, there was no way for PlayStation owners to remove any this censorship, aside

from playing the original Japanese version.

But, just a few days ago, a modder has now released patch that will remove the changes

made to the boss Gerogero.

The modder explains that, unfortunately, they were not able to remove the changes to the

background.

For the boss, though, not only is their battle model now of the original Japanese version,

but so is their card, which is used for Final Fantasy's VIII's big card battling minigame.

The mod also makes a few changes to the translation and these changes are made automatically,

with no way of turning them off.

The enemy Buel has been renamed so that the "l" is now an "r", which is not only closer

to the Japanese translation but also the other English titles in the series.

Additionally, the Katal weapon now also has the "l" replaced with an "r", again, making

it more accurate to the Japanese translation.

There is one more text change and this is to the Mega Phoenix item.

Here, the modder has inserted a hyphen between the words Mega and Phoenix.

The Japanese version doesn't contain a hyphen, and also, going by the Final Fantasy Wikia,

the other games in the series also leave the name without a hyphen.

However, it is clear that the modder felt that this would be a better translation.

There is a link in the description to the mod and important to point out is that the

mod will only work with the US PlayStation version of the game.

There is also an optional download that makes a few changes to Ultimecia's accent, which

you can read up on over on the blog.

Also linked in the description is Censored Gaming's full censorship report on Final Fantasy

VIII, where you can learn more about these changes, as well as some other points of interest

regarding the game.

VOCÊ TÁ SE ENGANANDO - Duration: 1:54.

Pedro, what time is it?

I see here it is 7:15 PM.

It's showing 9:41 PM on your phone.

Yeah. It's 2 hours and 26 minutes ahead.

Do you know you can set it according to your location?

I did that on purpose.

I used to always be late. Not anymore.

Were you always 2 hours and 26 minutes late?

No. It was just a few minutes. Then, I adjusted the minutes.

But then I got used to it being ahead.

So, I made it even more ahead.

I got used to it, so I adjusted again and so on.

Gotcha.

But now you know it's 2h26min ahead, so...

-It doesn't make sense. -It does. Do you know why?

It's actually 2h29min ahead.

But I didn't quite realize it yet.

Shit!

-I just realized. -What?

I realized it's 2h29min ahead. I'll set it for even later.

Guys, what day is it?

-Tuesday. -Thursday. Shush! Are you crazy?

What if I hear it?

-Don't you know it's Tuesday? -I thought it was Thursday.

-Oh, gotcha. -Keep it quiet.

-My report is due to tomorrow. -Pedro.

The report is due on Friday.

So, tomorrow. Friday.

Friday...

If I don't have it ready,

I won't reach the annual quota, and the analysis is coming up.

What are you doing on New Year's Eve?

What do you mean?

We're still in...

It's November! How fast!

-It's 2020. -Is it 2020?

Shush!

Is everything ok?

Kind of.

Aliens dominated the Earth in the 23rd century.

Then, the robots came in the 25th century,

and the air is not healthy to breathe in.

And I haven't finalized

that report due on that Friday in 2017.

DON'T Watch This Video! - Duration: 15:53.

Hey Thoughty2 here.

"Adam was but human…

He did not want the apple for the apple's sake, he wanted it only because it was forbidden."

wrote Mark Twain.

Now I want you to do something for me, do NOT think of a white bear for the remainder

of this video - oh, you've already failed haven't you?

The reason you thought about a white bear was the exact same reason you clicked on this

video.

This same instruction was given to a group of test participants in the 80s.

They said, for the next several minutes, "whatever you do, don't think about a white bear".

Of course, they all failed too.

For the next several minutes all they could think about was a white bear, no matter how

hard they tried not to.

Many of them attempted to think of other, random scenarios, picturing themselves on

holiday for example, to try to divert their minds but a white bear always found its way

into their thoughts and before they knew it, they were sky diving in Venezuela with a polar

bear.

At the end of the study they all admitted that their attempts to not think of a white

bear were entirely futile.

Why do our brains have a natural tendency to think of or do the exact opposite of what

they're told?

Reverse Psychology can be very powerful.

Today the middle and upper class in Europe eat a diet that consists mainly of Kale Chips

and Hummus but in the 17th century they ate potatoes.

That's right, the humble spud, today a European staple, was, for a long time only eaten by

the upper classes and royalty.

The lower class were superstitious of the potato, they saw it as bland, tasteless and

many thought it was poisonous.

But the upper echelons of society saw the potential of the unassuming brown vegetable

and ate it plentifully.

During the period of the French revolutionary wars, the usual food staples in England, which

was at the time basically some variation of a meat pie, was in short supply and England

was on the brink of a famine.

So the English government took steps to try to get the English public to eat more potatoes,

which were in plentiful supply.

They went so far as to hand out pamphlets entitled "Hints Respecting the Culture and

Use of Potatoes", but no matter how much they pleaded with the people, they wouldn't eat

potatoes.

The same struggle to make potatoes a normal food staple was happening across the whole

of Europe.

Eventually it took someone to do something quite different and not ask people to eat

potatoes, but to use reverse psychology.

Enter Frederick the Great of Prussia.

The king of what is now Germany saw great potential in the potato as a way to cheaply

feed the nation and not rely so heavily on expensive bread.

So, in 1774 he issued an order to his subjects to start growing potatoes, to which they replied

"The things have neither smell nor taste, not even the dogs will eat them, so what use

are they to us?"

So he concocted a plan, he planted a grand, royal field of potatoes and stationed royal

guards to protect the field every day.

The local peasants started to grow suspicious, what food could be so valuable that it requires

round-the-clock guard protection.

And, just as Frederick had predicted, within a few days the local thieves were stealing

potatoes from the royal plantation and selling them at the local market for a high price.

Before long the whole town was eating his royal potatoes.

His plan had worked perfectly, because he had made them forbidden and told people that

they can't have the potatoes, suddenly everyone wanted potatoes.

And so, over the following years the fondness for potatoes spread across Europe.

Whether it's thinking about white bears or eating potatoes, humans love to do what we're

told not to do.

Children are the ultimate victim of reverse psychology.

Tell a kid a hundred times to eat their broccoli and they won't budge, but tell them they're

not allowed broccoli anymore and suddenly it's their favourite food.

But why can our brains be so easily duped?

Why can we not resist pushing the red button, why do we always want what we can't have,

whether it be our neighbour's sports car, or wife?

We even do the opposite of what we tell ourselves to do.

When you're about to give a speech to a group of people and you tell yourself to be calm

and not to panic the complete opposite happens and you start violently shaking.

It seems at times that our brains are just out to get us.

Why?

So what is the secret behind reverse psychology?

It's all because of a thing called "Reactance".

Reactance is the concept that we are all afraid to lose our freedom and we will do whatever

it takes to hang onto it.

If our freedom is threatened, for example if someone takes away our ability to make

decisions we react out of fear.

If someone tells us we can't have fast food anymore, we instantly crave fast food like

never before, because we are reacting out of fear of loosing our freedom.

Reverse psychology works so well because when you threaten to take away somebody's freedom

their natural reaction is to go out of their way to exercise that freedom and prove to

you that you're unable to take it away.

Just take a look at fair Romeo and Juliet.

They first met and liked each other, sure.

But it was only when both their families forbade them from being together that they fell crazily

in love and ended up dying for one-another.

It's one of the most powerful examples of reverse psychology in literature.

But the greatest example of reverse psychology of all time comes from ancient Chinese history.

In the greatest book on war ever written, The Art of War, Sun Tzu wrote: "Appear weak

when you are strong, and strong when you are weak".

During the period of the Three Kingdoms in China, around 200 AD - the country's multiple

leaders were at war and one such leader Zhuge Liang was known as one of the greatest Chinese

strategists of all time.

During the war of the three kingdoms, Zhuge Liang was held up in a fort with only a handful

of soldiers.

When his enemy Sima Yi learnt of his location and heard he had so few men defending his

fort.

Sima Yi set off with an army of thousands of men, to conquer Zhuge Liang and take over

his fort but Liang heard about Yi's campaign before he arrived.

Instead of bolting all the doors shut and putting what few soldiers he had along the

battlements with bows and arrows to defend the fort, then hiding away somewhere, he came

up with a plan involving a magnificent feat of reverse psychology.

Liang ordered all the doors and gates of the fort to be opened up wide.

He ordered his few soldiers to dress up as civilians and to sweep the grounds inside

the fort and the roads outside with brooms.

Liang then sat calmly atop of the fort, looking out at the approaching army and said not a

word but melodically played his Guqin - an ancient Chinese instrument that is plucked.

As Yi arrived with his huge army, weapons in hand, he was greeted with open gates, peasants

cleaning the streets and a calm, fearless Liang sat atop his empty fort, still playing

his instrument.

Sensing suspicion Yi instantly thought it was a trap and that Liang had setup an ambush

involving hiding his soldiers in the surrounding hills to circle Yi's army from behind.

Instead of rushing the empty fort, Yi quickly ordered his men to retreat with great haste,

fearing an imminent ambush, an ambush which of course didn't exist.

And so, using reverse psychology, Liang had quelled an otherwise deadly attack.

Liang's incredible strategy has since come to be known as "Empty Fort Strategy" and it

made its way into the famous Chinese Thirty Six Stratagems as the 32nd stratagem.

From Chinese masters of war to modern day advertising, the power of reverse psychology

is timeless.

Like this advert for the British Army, that uses reverse psychology to almost makes you

feel guilty for not joining the army.

And my personal favourite, this advert... for a university degree in Reverse Psychology.

An Amsterdam hotel has perfected the art of reverse psychology, by branding itself "The

worst hotel in the world".

Hans Brinker Budget Hotel is smack bang in the centre of Amsterdam and is, by their own

accord very cheap, smelly, cold, not too clean, has absolutely no luxuries and is generally

a damn awful place to stay.

Online reviews for the hotel include "A bus shelter offers the same facilities."

and "What is that smell?

I demand to know what that smell is."

But instead of trying to improve their standards, they just made these advertising campaigns...

and this... and this...

And, well would you believe it, it worked.

Since releasing these brutally honest ads the hotel's business is booming.

Hans Brinker's 511 beds in 127 rooms are nearly fully occupied all year round.

And yes, it's still awful.

Reverse psychology has certainly worked out favourably for Hans Brinker but not so much

for another advertiser.

Smoking kills, we all know it, even smokers.

But addiction is a difficult and emotionally-driven problem to overcome.

In early 2000, following a treaty signed at the 2003 World Health Assembly in Geneva,

it became the law in most countries that cigarette and tobacco packaging had to contain a health

warning.

Some countries adopted written warnings and others contained highly graphic pictorial

warnings.

In the following years many world governments put funds into anti smoking ads on national

television.

Such ads are usually highly graphic and usually end in the protagonist either developing cancer

or erectile dysfunction.

The World Health Organisation were pretty pleased with themselves and believed this

visceral new advertising would vastly reduce the number of smokers worldwide by using fear

to make them quit.

And for a while the world ignorantly believed that the strategy was working.

But what have we learnt?

That the more times you tell somebody they can't or shouldn't do something the more likely

they are to do it.

And sure enough, multiple recent studies have shown that warning labels on smoking products

has absolutely no effect on smoking or quitting rates whatsoever.

Moreover a recent study by experts at Tel Aviv university and New York university concluded

that, bizarrely, warning labels on cigarettes, no matter how horrific, actually increase

cigarette sales.

Researchers showed various packets of cigarettes to test participants, some had warning labels

on, such as "Smoking Kills" and "Smoking Causes Cancer" etc. and some of the packets had no

warnings on them at all.

The participants were asked which packets they would rather purchase and the vast majority

of them chose the packets with warning labels.

There's something interesting going on here, this has a lot to do with reverse psychology

but there's a bit more to it.

The researchers found out that the test participants believed that the brands that put warning

labels on their cigarette packages were perceived as more honest and trustworthy and so in some

strange way, the perceived quality and value of that brand's cigarettes went up, in the

minds of the participants.

Reverse psychology isn't just a mental quirk, it's a tool that many successful people have

used, among them Freddie Mercury.

After Queen recorded Bohemian Rhapsody, a six-minute long song, every record company

they spoke to said it was too long to be successful and would never be played on the radio.

So Freddie Mercury gave a copy of the song to his friend and radio DJ, Kenny Everett,

as a gift.

Freddie told him never to to play it on air.

Of course Everett did the complete opposite and played the song on air over 14 times in

a single radio slot.

It was soon number one in the UK charts and it went on to grace the number one spot again

in 1991 after Mercury's death.

Thanks for watching.

Why Conor McGregor Can KO Floyd Mayweather - Duration: 17:06.

Every boxing analyst is saying Conor McGregor doesn't stand a chance

against Floyd Mayweather and maybe they're right.

But I have a different perspective because while I don't know much about boxing,

I am a student of human psychology and I have never seen anyone

with a better mental game than Conor McGregor. He is insanely confident

which creates the optimal emotional state for dominating a fight

and a huge part of that confidence is how Conor uses

visualization to see his victories before they happen.

Joe, I'm gonna crack him with a jab and he's gonna wobble and I'm gonna put him away early.

It's gonna be a first-round KO. Mark my words.

Saturday night when I go out there and put Diego away in the first round, I'll prove my word.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but

he told Lorenzo and I the other day, "I'll bet you 3 million dollars I knock him out the second round."

So in this video, we're going to explore just how Conor visualizes differently from most people

and how this creates the highest percent of chance that he gets what he wants.

Obviously, his physical training is indispensable but the motivation to train,

the ability to psyche an opponent out, and the calm nature he has in a fight,

all begin with the mental game which is what you're going to learn to harness today.

The first unique thing that Conor does is visualize the pre-game.

Now, all fighters visualize to some extent —

some visualize their hand getting raised, the belt being wrapped around their waist,

and some visualize the finishing moment knocking out their opponent.

Conor does it differently. Just listen.

Now I've already visualized what's ahead of me here.

I've already visualized my hands getting wrapped,

walking to the weigh-ins, walking to the cage...

Winning a fight is a multi-step process —

you show up to the venue, you get your hands wrapped, you warm up,

you walk out, you step into the cage, you get announced and then you fight.

At any one of these moments, a fighter can get hit with a burst of nervousness

or an adrenaline dump, it can literally cost them the fight.

In some ways, it's no different from a job interview, a big meeting, or even a date.

If you let your nerves get the best of you while you sit waiting for the other person to arrive,

you're going to be too nervous when they finally do.

Conor avoids this pitfall by visualizing everything from the start.

I visualize everything. I've visualized this conversation. I visualized the walkout. I visualize everything going on.

I know— I have shots picked out and I'm gonna show in this fight in five weeks

and I've seen everything in me head and now it's gonna happen.

When you see it in your head, you're gonna see it before your eyes; that's what I say.

So when he walks out to fight, the whole scenario is familiar.

None of it feels new which means none of it feels scary.

Now we aren't all cage fighters but let's say you had a big job interview and you want to visualize to help you nail it.

Instead of picturing yourself sitting in the interview and smiling or being

at the end and signing an offer letter, picture every moment of the experience —

from walking into the building feeling confident to answering specific questions that you know you'll get asked

all the way to leaving the office and smiling when you say goodbye.

If you can make the entire process feel familiar, you'll be able to maintain your cool throughout.

The second important thing Conor emphasizes is the details.

Here he is right after a reporter asks how he so accurately predicted how he would win his first ever UFC title.

I was asking you on Thursday about his right hand.

Yeah.

Can I tell you what you told me?

I said his right hand would get him into trouble; that's the shot I predicted.

I said he'd overload on his right hand, I said I'd slip, I said I'd bang with a left hook and that's what happened.

Now notice how he didn't just say, "Oh, I saw myself winning this fight,"

but talks about seeing specific sequences in his mind.

How do you do that?

I mean if you can see it here and you have the courage enough to speak it,

it will happen so I see these shots, I see these sequences and I don't shy away from them.

We can all use this strategy for almost anything

whether it's an important sales call, a negotiation, or just the first date.

You can go through and imagine potential twists that the event could take

and imagine what your perfect response would be.

When it happens in reality, it may go one of any different way

but by imagining yourself handling it perfectly in different variations,

you prepare yourself to rock it no matter how it plays out.

Conor also creates physical manifestations of what his vision is as if it's already happened.

Now there's nothing new about having a vision board

but while it might feel good to look at your wall and see images of a big stack of cash

or a beautiful stock image of your dream guy or girl,

Conor takes it a step further and to something really unique.

For instance, after winning his fight against Dustin Poirier

which was only his fourth fight in the UFC,

Conor went backstage, borrowed someone else's UFC belt,

wrapped it over his shoulder and took a photo with it.

Why? Because he looked at that photo every single day until it became his reality.

He did it again before his fight with Siver — this time with two belts.

This was six months before he'd even had his first title shot

and in November 2016, he made it a reality and became the first person

who hold two division championships at the same time in the UFC

and now he's done it with Floyd Mayweather — this time with a mural in his gym.

In this next clip, you can see he even melds his sparring practice with visualization.

No stone has been left unturned.

From... like you said, from nutrition, from the cardio side, from the rounds,

from the ruleset, from the canvas of the ring, from the size,

the tension in the ropes...

He's using a ring that's specifically designed to replicate the one he'll use on Fight Night.

This makes sure his practice simulates his future reality as closely as possible.

There's a famous quote I love —

"Everything is created twice — first in the mind and then in reality."

Whether it's a phenomenal artist, athlete or entrepreneur,

they envision their greatest achievements in their mind first and then they make it happen.

That's why great businessmen are often called visionaries

because their gift is to imagine something and then make their vision a reality.

Maybe as Conor says, his visualizations shape reality.

Or perhaps they simply give him the unshakable confidence needed to succeed at a world-class level.

Either way, he would not be where he is without them.

Did you have faith maybe back then the... your time would come and that you would be able to explode onto the scene as you had.

If I didn't, it wouldn't have happened.

Now that said, what makes Conor so special

is that he dreams of achieving things that no one has ever achieved and

at the same time, he grounds his visualizations in reality.

Look at the lead-up to his first fight against Chad Mendes.

Chad is a two-time all-american wrestler; he had taken down all of his previous opponents.

Listen to this interview from Conor before their fight.

What'you gonna do? You can't even pass guard; you're a white belt on the mat.

Well, you get me down and you hold me down; I'll butcher you from the bottom.

I'll get back up and butcher you on the feet.

Conor doesn't say, "You won't take me down."

He says, "I'll BUTCHER you from the bottom."

Look at Conor's reaction at the end of the first round

after chad has successfully taken him down and landed some brutal elbows.

He gets up smiling because he knew he'd be there and survive it.

He's happy because the fight is playing out exactly like he visualized it;

that may be one of Conor's greatest secrets.

Behind all the grand visions and the big boasts, he's an avid student of reality.

He looks at past success to model.

He watches Bruce Lee, Muhammad Ali, Roy Jones Jr... the list goes on — even his own losses.

I just broke it down into small pieces and analyzed the fight.

Joe Rogan: Good left hand. Mike Goldberg: Diaz just missed.

Mike Goldberg: Conor's busting Nate up.

Yes, he's watching to see his mistakes but he's also watching

for individual moments of success that he can model in their rematch.

...gained confidence from what I was looking at and how I felt

and understand the where-I-was-then-to-where-I-am-now and that was it.

And then he will watch that moment, hold it in his mind, replay it over and over,

and use it as inspiration for how he visualizes the rematch going.

That's why while every boxing analyst is saying that Conor's only chance of beating Floyd is to bull-rush him,

I would guarantee that Conor isn't listening. Why?

Because they haven't beaten Floyd in a boxing match.

Instead, I'd bet every cent I have that Conor is watching hours of Floyd's fights

just looking for even the briefest moment where he's been hurt or in trouble

and then he will picture himself doing that same thing exploiting that same pattern

over and over until he feels like he's done it a hundred times.

Now one question I've always had with visualization when I'm trying to do it myself

is — when should I do it? Do you do it right when you wake up or right before you sleep?

Here's Conor's answer.

Can you put yourself in the mindset of a guy who's waiting in line with other people?

Always. Always.

Do you remember what that guy was thinking? Are you daydreaming of this? Was that even possible?

Every second of every day, I was daydreaming it.

People are talking to me and in my head, I'm counting something.

I'm counting up a number or I'm knee-deep in a sequence on the mat or on the feet.

That's my life — sequences and numbers — nothing else.

Every time he zones out, he's thinking about himself fighting.

Just listen to how he emphasizes the word — frequently.

Does it feel the way you thought it would?

Yeah, it does; it feels beautiful.

I dreamt this so much so clearly, so precisely, and so frequently that it has manifested itself into reality.

This may sound exhausting until you realize that we all do this anyway.

We visualize all the time. Most people just visualize the bad so you try to push

someone to ask for a promotion and they immediately picture getting shot down.

Or you tell them to approach the beautiful person at the bar

and they instantly imagine it going poorly and then they freeze up.

The only difference is Conor has spent hundreds of hours purposefully visualizing

the positive while most people are unthinkingly visualizing the negative.

Check out this clip where an interviewer presses him to imagine what it would be like to lose.

What happens if you do lose to Jose Aldo?

That is not in the equation; that does not process in my brain one for one second.

It's the reaction most people would give if you ask them, "What would you do with a billion dollars?"

They pause for a while and then you get an answer like, "Buy a boat. Get a Ferrari," — things that any millionaire could do.

A billion dollars is so much money, it's so outside their perception of reality; they can't really fathom it.

That's how Conor feels about losing a fight.

Can you not allow yourself then, as a fighter, to go into that—

I could try but it wouldn't happen. It wouldn't even happen.

I couldn't even try even if I try my best. It's not gonna happen.

So how do you build the habit of visualizing without it taking over your life and ruining your ability to be present?

Well, the best solution I found from my life is to visualize while I'm doing mindless tasks.

For instance, most people zone out in the shower, brushing their teeth, commuting to work...

We can use that time to get hours of extra reps every single day

so when the day finally comes to perform, interview, sell — whatever it might be — we'll be leagues ahead of the competition.

Okay, the last thing I'm going to touch on is going to be a little controversial.

I thought about cutting it but it's so clearly an important part of Conor's belief system that I felt it wouldn't be right to exclude it.

And that is — don't just think it, speak it.

A lot of times, people believe in certain things but they keep to themselves; they don't put it out there.

If you truly believe in it andif you become vocal with it,

you are creating that law of attraction and it will become reality.

This is probably the most dangerous part of Conor's reality-creating process

because studies have shown that when you say a future plan out loud to someone, you're actually less likely to go out and take action on it.

Why? Because just the act of sharing a goal with a friend can let you start to feel the pleasure of achieving it

without actually having to put the hard work in to achieve it.

So you give yourself what psychologists call a "premature sense of completeness"

and it saps your motivation; you don't actually want to go out and do the hard work

because your brain has already given you the good feelings.

That's why so many people say they're going to lose weight or leave their crappy

partner or quit the job they hate but they never do.

So how do we marry this with Conor's emphasis on speaking?

It's by not visualizing with a sense of satisfaction. Conor visualizes with a hunger.

Instead of letting himself get the dopamine hit as if it were reality,

he visualizes it and then he thinks about how badly he wants it and he lets it light a fire under him.

I feed off this. I feed off this. I love this stuff. This is what gives me energy.

Saying I'm gonna do something, putting it out there for the world to see,

and then going out and doing it — there's no better feeling in the world than that.

It's clear that Conor lets his boasts about the future fuel him. Listen to his tone here.

The gold belt's what I want — the two gold belts. I was a two-weight world champion in the previous organization.

Now I'm on the big stage at the UFC. I want that Featherweight belt and I want that Lightweight belt; that's my goal.

There's almost no joy in his voice; if anything, there's an edge to it.

Now contrast that with this next clip.

I always visualize what giving to people what they have given to me would feel like.

I always dreamed of just showing up one day and I'm like, "Here," and that would always give me good feelings.

I've watched every Conor interview I could find and I have never heard him talk

about having a dream of giving like that until after he made it a reality.

Now I don't know if Conor knows this consciously or not

but he has a very distinct separation between what he visualizes and speaks of and what he visualizes but keeps to himself.

Giving to your family like that, that's the kind of spoken goal

that would let him feel that dopamine hit right away and so for that goal he kept it to himself.

Now compare that to all the other times he's spoken of his visualizations

before they've come to pass — they all had a hunger.

Speaking those goals out loud clearly made him feel like he had something to prove.

This interview is the perfect example of it.

Notice how he starts to feel good and allows himself to go there just for a moment.

December the 12th in the evening, when we're all leaving the arena

and we're coming to see you at the press conference, what are we gonna be seeing and what are you gonna be saying?

You know what you're gonna be seeing — something nice... something nice in material.

He allows himself to have that happy fantasy

for about ten seconds then watch as his tone shifts right back to hungry.

I'm gonna see the belt right there coming up the stairs.

You're going to see a banged-up Brazilian.

Hopefully, we see that. It could be somebody else but you'll see me there

with a gold belt, a brand new custom-made shoe, and a smile on my face.

Now it's important to say visualization isn't the only thing that matters.

You and I can't visualize our way into KO'ing one of the greatest boxers of all time.

Conor works his ass off and he says so himself.

Number one is the hard work pays off

and number two is that dreams come true and that's what's happening.

It's a beautiful feeling when preparation meets opportunity. Nothing is impossible.

Conor McGregor shouldn't even be fighting Floyd Mayweather; he's an MMA fighter.

But for years, he kept it in his mind visualizing it over and over again until he knew it was going to happen.

And honestly, after watching him for hours to make this video, he's got me sold.

I'm convinced that for Conor McGregor, nothing is impossible.

For years, he's been making predictions based on what he sees in his mind

and he's almost always right so when he does win and he mentions in his post-fight

interview how it played out exactly as he saw in his mind, I hope you'll remember this video.

Also, fun announcement — Charlie's been working these last few days

on a new Game of Thrones breakdown and he'll be releasing that on Monday.

[Music]

now here's the next one respond the

ability to let life touch you don't let

it kill you but let it touch you here's

what's important let's add things make

you sad because we need to understand

the depths of sadness so we can

understand the incredible ecstasy of joy

you can't know the highs without the

lows you can't dismiss all the things

that need to burden your heart and your

soul the drama of Jesus life there were

two words that were so important here

they are it said he was touched and it

said he was moved I'm asking you to jot

down those words you've got to learn to

be touched and to be moved part of it is

to be moved out of complacency to be

moved out of just drifting but it's also

to be moved by the story to be moved by

what happened and to be touched by

someone's dilemma and to be touched by

someone's problem

respond I've learned how to do that I'm

the best guy in the world to take to the

movies I really get into it I want to be

taken on a journey make me laugh make me

cry take me high take me low shake me

over hell but don't leave me unmoved I

finally saw Doctor Zhivago

for the third time in Melbourne

Australia come see dr. Zhivago and saw

it for the third time

I'd always miss the significant ending

of the movie until this time finally I

got it

comrade general said Tania how did you

come to be lost and she said I was just

lost he said no how did you come to be

lost and she said well the city was on

fire the war had come and my father and

I were running through the city and he

let go of my hand and I was lost and

comrade general said no Tania kamarowsky

was not your father do you think your

father would have let go of your hand

this man dr. Zhivago the poet I'm

telling you he was your father I've been

searching for you and I found you this

was your father I finally got the

message the other times I'm eatin

popcorn waiting for the movie to finish

you mean you know this this this time I

got it I got it

he was not your father if my father

would have been with me would he have

let go of my hand

no what do you have died first see you

got to let the drama you've got to let

the emotional drama affect you because

here's what it does it fills up your

emotional bank so that when you get

ready to talk we're gonna discuss later

on today you draw not only from language

but from emotion and the mixture of both

language and emotion is some of the most

powerful force in the world so let

yourself be affected that yourself be

touched

let the positive make you positive let

the sad make you sad let the joyful make

you joyful let the songs ring in your

head but also let the minor-key but the

sadness affect you so that you'll be a

well-rounded person when you deal with

the marketplace your children and

everyone else

now here's the other three first learn

to absorb everything around you take it

all in don't miss anything next respond

let life touch you here's number three

we just briefly touched on it reflect

reflect means to go back over and

experience if you've been through

something when it's over just sit down

and think about it again you say well

some things are tough to relive I know

but if you'll go through a bit of the

emotional drama again

it'll drive that experience so deep in

your consciousness it'll never go away

now this is not to drag you back into

the past this is not to drag you down

into the sadness that if that all it was

all there was to life it would overwhelm

us all it's not to do that but it's to

make you a richer person in terms of the

full spectrum of emotional content it's

to make you a whole person to better

understand someone else's dilemma if you

let the dilemma of certain things affect

you as much as it can reflect back and

let the thought of it you know put your

head between your legs as you ponder Wow

here's some good times to reflect one at

the end of the day take a few minutes at

the end of the day so you lock that day

into your consciousness to serve you

well the rest of your life here's a good

phrase each day is a piece of the mosaic

of our life when you get ready to talk

about your past you don't want any of

these pieces to be missing if you can

help it you'll Bailey was entertaining

us with some stories last night he knows

the names he knows the date he said it

was raining it was a cloudy morning I

could see the storm coming from the east

so how old how young who what were they

wearing

who else would remember special people

remember the drama they reflect until it

becomes part of them you read a book and

then you reflect on the book Cobain is

unique because he can read a 300 page

book in about 45 minutes

and then he can tell you about this book

and make it more fantastic than if you

read it yourself so he I just follow him

around and don't have to read so much

[Music]

reflect at the end of the week jot down

take a few hours pay a week is such a

piece of your life you traded labor for

a paycheck you traded a piece of your

life for getting paid and compensated

and all of the other drama of the things

that happened to you social personal

spiritual physical a week is worth

pondering take an hour go back over your

notes and go back over your day-timer

and go back over everything and say

where have I been and what did I do and

who did I see and what did they say and

what did how did it feel at the end of

the month take half a day at the end of

the month at the end of the week a year

take a weekend time to reflect maybe

this is what was meant when the advice

was given here it is in Scripture every

once in a while you should go into your

closet it's an interesting word closet I

don't know if it's a closet like we have

today but what I think it means is a

place away go into your closet away and

then it said something interesting when

you get in there shut the door shut the

door not necessarily a physical door to

shut yourself in but to shut everything

out to shut everything out for all and

just in there in that place of solitude

for all of my public life traveling all

around the world

you know from hotels and limousines and

all the rest of the busy life I live

guess what I seek solitude

time alone part of it up at the farm for

me make the

wine and drooling props as part of it

but some of that sort of just like a

diversion doing something else versus

you know traveling and lecturing but

sometimes I have to get alone all alone

on the side of the river bank of the

river I've got a dirt bike I ride the

Jeep trails up at Clear Lake in

California where there's no stop sign my

life is simple and easy listen to the

birds and watch the chickens away and

when you get into your closet it says

shut the door and there you think about

your life and think about your marriage

and think about your friends think about

the past and think about the future what

could you do now once you come out of

the closet a place away solitude jot

this down some answers you must come up

with all by yourself and some solutions

you must come up with alone some

decisions your wife can help and your

husband can help in the family can help

and people around you can help and

friends can help and you can get input

from everywhere and finally finally when

it comes down to the final decision some

of that you have to do all along they

say the presidency of the United States

is a lonely job the general of the army

many times that's a lonely job sending

people into battle knowing some are

going to lose their lives that's a

lonely job making those lonely decisions

that's going to affect so many but

whether it affects your life personally

or someone else you got to take some of

this time and get used to the time to be

alone to make those decisions and think

things over

okay reflecting here's what it does

helps you to gather up the past and

invest it in the future

so you got to make that note because

only humans can perform this miracle

taking the past and investing it in the

future

dogs can do it and animals can do it

fish can't do it snakes can't do it only

humans can do here's what you can do

greatly alter the future by investing

the past into the future past errors and

judgment that you've now corrected past

errors and thought that you've now

corrected

past loss of time that you now know

better how to utilize now you begin to

invest all this into the future you

can't believe the productivity scale you

can't believe the learning scale you

can't believe what will start coming out

now into the future your promise will be

brighter than you ever thought possible

learning to gather up the past and

invest it in the future when my father

was about to turn 76 I said dear father

can you imagine what its gonna be like

to gather up the last 75 years and

invest him in your 76 year wasn't that a

good idea that's better than saying I

think I can hang on one more year I mean

come on gathering up the past and

investing it in the future

jot this down the past is currency we

sometimes use this expression this

person has a wealth of experiences

experience wealth and the answer is yes

it's wealth the past becomes currency

coin commodity available now from

lessons learned from emotions gathered

from things not missed from colors and

sights and sounds and highs and lows and

progress and deceleration all of that

combined now put into the next few weeks

the next few months the next year you

can imagine the accelerated progress

that comes from learning to do this

exercise it's very important now here's

number four we absorb we respond we

reflect number four now we must act we

must now put all of the learning and the

emotional content into activity why

without that reality eludes us it cannot

be created you can't create a career

unless you do these four steps absorb

what you can learn all you can respond

to it and let it affect you let the

emotional part of it drive you set your

goals let it touch you reflect until it

becomes real possible then act on it and

do it

activity is the vessel in which we pour

the drama of our life so that it

performs the miracle of creating reality

for you now to act on what you heard

felt thought seen the people you've met

and all of it now put it into action put

it into a health plan that won't quit

put it into a health plan that'll give

you a unique physical support system put

it into a career plan put it into a

relationship plan act upon it then you

can create a masterpiece Michelangelo

was a genius but it was not his genius

that created the masterpiece but his

genius was so strong in his belief and

it was so powerful that he picked up the

chisel and the hammer so I want you to

just make that an analogy now in your

notes you must now finally pick up the

chisel and the hammer after you've taken

the classes and after you've absord and

after you've thought and after you've

wondered and after you've set goals and

after you've come to a conclusion about

your promise in your future now you must

pick up the chisel

and it's the chisel and the hammer and

the sweat and the muscle and the chisel

and the hammer and the sweat and the

muscle that builds on the rear otherwise

the rest of all of this serves no

purpose why absorb and why respond and

why reflect and why gather up the

promise of the future there is no

purpose unless now you act but if you

act a masterpiece of a career is waiting

for you

masterpiece of the good marriage is

waiting for a masterpiece of a fortune

is waiting for you what you're gonna do

is have been who you're gonna where

you're gonna give it away benevolence

and all the rest now here's the last

part the ability to share

we absorb we respond we reflect we take

disciplined action start creating

reality now the key to make life really

unique and worthwhile is to share

sharing has a certain unique magic of

its own here's what I learned in sharing

ideas if you share an idea with ten

different people they get to hear at

once you get to hear at ten times so

here's part of self interest for

yourself getting you even better

prepared for the future share ideas

share with your family share with the

people around you share with other

employees share with your colleagues

because by sharing two things happen

here's what we call it I don't know how

to explain it but I do know it happens

and I don't know all about how it

happens or why it happens it just

happens when one person shares with

another two things happen the audience

could be transformed and so could the

speaker if you share with someone else

they could be transformed you may have

dropped in at the right time this may be

their moment they've got three numbers

dialed into the lock already and if you

say it well and say it right you'll be

the fourth number that they can dial

into the lock of their personal

experience and the door will come open

and there's opportunity they never saw

before the person who hears can be

transformed but here's what else is

exciting the person who speaks can be

transformed guess what we're all looking

for transformation for our new life the

new life tomorrow the new life this

month the new life next year the new

life this year the caterpillar one day

says I think I was made for more than

this crawling on the ground so the

butterfly climbs the tree attaches

himself to a leaf and spins the cocoon

who knows what disciplined effort it

takes to spin

cuckoo but something inside the

caterpillar says I was designed from

something more than being just a

caterpillar and then when the concern is

ready and it opens up out comes a

butterfly it flies away maybe singing I

think I can fly I think I can touch the

sky I used to be a caterpillar on the

ground now I fly I'm asking you to go

through such a metamorphosis

I'm asking you often to go through a

period where you say new skills new

things are waiting for me and part of

this will come if you'll translate for

other people what you feel in your heart

and in your soul as awkward as your

language might be at first don't

hesitate to do it here's what sharing

does makes room for more if this glass

is full of water Wow here's my coffee

I won't take as much time as Ziggler did

Keith's question if this glass is full

of water can it hold anymore if the

glass is full of water can it hold

anymore and the answer is yes yes if you

pour some out so jot that down if you

want more you've got to pour out what

you got then you have the opportunity to

receive more now unlike the glass that

remains the same size when you pour some

out not so consciousness in human beings

your capacity will increase the more you

share you'll get bigger and bigger and

bigger now why the self interest wish to

be bigger here's why to hold more of the

next experience some people can't hold

much happiness because they're too small

their thinking is too small their

activity is too small they're too small

and their ability to share they're just

too small can't hold much they're too

small but the bigger you get the more

you will receive when happiness is

poured out you'll get more when joy is

poured out on the nation you'll get more

when bounty is poured out from the

economy you will get more if you share

what you've got and become

bigger and bigger now some people are

not only small they have their glass

turned upside down hard to get anything

in but here's what you've done in coming

here this weekend you've come with an

open mind and open consciousness ready

to receive and I promise you we're gonna

pour everything we possibly can into

every ounce of time we've got here to

make it beneficial for you give you not

just your money's worth but your time's

worth now one last part under personal

development personal development leads

to all good things because it makes you

unique here's what my mentor said when I

first met him I'm 25 years old I'm broke

not destitute but broke here's what he

said to me mr. Owen now is the time to

set a goal to become a millionaire which

back there was a pretty good leap age 25

that was a long time ago he said set a

goal to become a millionaire and he said

here's why and I want you to jot it down

for what it will make of you to achieve

the purpose for setting goals is self

development purpose for setting goals is

to become the person that can achieve

them so the whole real major subject

here this whole weekend is personal

development seeing what all we can

become now chop this phrase down don't

settle for less than you can be

I asked mr. shuffle if I get to make it

money how much did I earn he said all

you possibly can

how many book should I read as many as

you possibly can how far should I go as

far as you possibly can how much should

I share as much as you possibly can in

the course of my lifetime how much

should I do you should do all you

possibly can go as far as you can reach

as high as you can touch everybody you

possibly can I made that commitment a

long time ago and it has served me so

well and it brought me to Dallas this

weekend there's no other place I would

rather be I committed to being here I'm

glad I came

let's take 20 minutes everybody for a

break and then come back

Questlove Tells Us How F*cked Up It Is To Not Care About The Environment - Duration: 1:59.

(piano music)

- The EPA was created to ensure that

our air and water are safe.

They clean up hazardous waste in our communities

and keep chemicals out of our food.

That's cool.

However, proposed budget cuts would shrink the EPA

by nearly a third, crippling the science,

data collection, and enforcement that protects our health,

even gutting a program that tests

cancer causing radon in schools.

(record stopping)

That's f*cked up.

(water pouring)

Good old American drinking water.

The EPA's water protection efforts help keep many Americans'

drinking water clean and fresh.

Ahhh.

Reducing these protections?

That's f*cked up.

Flint, Michigan is one of hundreds of American cities

experiencing a contaminated water crisis.

Cuts to the EPA would slash drinking water safety programs

including programs that specifically

protect children from lead.

We check our kids' Halloween candy for razorblades,

but we're not gonna make sure that

their water is tested for poison?

That's f*cked up.

Time for some fresh air.

(groaning)

Oh, yeah.

I sealed the windows shut.

Why?

Because without the EPA we'd have fewer safeguards

from harmful levels of smog pollution.

And that's f*cked up.

I love clean air, water and food, and you can too.

Who is Ross Gibson? | Behind the Scenes | Cirque Stories | Episode #3 | Cirque du Soleil - Duration: 7:51.

Previously on Cirque Stories,

we shared Maxim Formitchev's inspiring journey

as a clown from the USSR to Cirque du Soleil.

If you missed last week's episode,

click the link in the description below.

But don't go anywhere,

because a new episode of Cirque Stories is about to start.

Commitment,

passion,

performance,

countless hours of training:

these are just a few of the things our dreams are made of.

We are Cirque du Soleil artists, and we all have a story to tell.

Behind the scenes, behind the makeup and all the costumes,

this is unfiltered, raw, like you've never seen before.

Welcome to Cirque Stories.

You probably know him as the Red Bird at Mystère.

I'm Christina Jones, and I'm your host for Cirque Stories.

We had a chance to sit down with Ross Gibson at his place

to peel back the curtain to get a taste of what his life looks like offstage.

OK, so tell me a little about your sports background.

So, I come from the sport of tumbling,

which is a discipline of gymnastics.

I competed from '97 until 2003 on the Great Britain team.

How was the transition from sport to Cirque performance?

It's funny, when you do sport, you put...

all your focus into one competition

that might be World or European Championships,

and it's that one competition—

maybe you have them three months apart—

that you have to shine in.

Whereas on stage,

you've got to shine every night.

So you've got to manage to,

instead of pooling all that talent for one competition, to try

and blend it and spread it

so it covers your 478 shows a year instead of your...

one World Championships and European Championships.

I have a bit of the age-old story of

"I saw my first Cirque show at the Royal Albert Hall and…"

What was it, do you remember?

It was Quidam.

Quidam at the Robert Albert Hall in…

I want to say '96 or something.

I went with some friends from gymnastics and was just hooked and thought,

"This is where I want to be. That is what I want to do."

And I have to tell you: every time I see Mystère,

I'm just amazed at your artistic ability

and also your technical ability.

What did Cirque do to foster that growth?

How did you learn to get into this character so much?

I think when Cirque picks people for characters,

they often look at the person's personality

as well as what their acrobatic or dance or acting skills are.

Red Bird is a very graceful and acrobatic role.

I obviously have come from a big acrobatics background,

and I had a dance background as well,

so it's kind of the perfect amalgamation of my two main skills.

And how many years have you been the Red Bird?

Thirteen, now.

Tell me a little bit about the family you started here.

When did you meet your husband?

So, I met my husband, he was performing in "O."

He was an original performer in "O,"

which I think you know that show quite well.

It's a water show.

Yeah, thank you.

He was a performer in "O," original synchronized swimmer,

and we got married two years ago, September…

Seventeenth, that was my birthday.

Oh, of course!

September 17th, yeah, so a year and a half ago.

OK. So when did you decide that you wanted to have kids?

I think that was from seeing other performers in Cirque shows were doing it

and successfully having kids and performing in shows,

and it wasn't affecting their stage performance,

and it was beautiful to see.

But we wanted to try a surrogate route,

and then a very good friend of ours, called Allison—

who used to be with me in Mystère and her husband is a rigger on KÀ—

she, when we had suddenly realized we needed an oven…

Yeah.

And that was actually a lot harder to find…

She very graciously stepped up and said she would try,

and everything went perfectly.

So, we actually went through an egg donor,

an anonymous egg donor,

who strangely looks really like you, as we just discovered.

It's not me. It's not me.

Our daughter just looked at her and went, "Mama."

"How do you know?"

You didn't secretly give your eggs three years ago?

No.

'Cause that would be a great twist on this story.

Wouldn't it? Wouldn't it?

So yeah, we went through an anonymous egg donor and

took the eggs and split them and fertilized one side with Ben, one side with me,

instead of going, "Paper, scissors, stones… You're the dad."

We told the doctor, "Look, you just choose,

and never tell us, unless we really need to know for some reason."

So, and to this day, we still don't know, but it doesn't matter, she's our baby.

Right.

It was great for us to just be able to hang out and

watch this happening and, yeah, nine months later, on August 21st,

Siella was born.

And as expensive as it was to…

for us to go through that process—

I guess it's not quite as simple for us—

it was the best money I've ever spent…

- We've ever spent. - Right.

Every night people come from all around the world to see you perform on stage,

and they think of you as this character,

but you're also a husband, you're also a father.

So tell me a little bit about what it's like to manage those two personas you have.

It's tough, but we're at the age, Siella is two and a half years old,

so she's not on a schedule we need to adhere to at the moment.

She doesn't have to get up for school,

so it's gonna get harder when she goes to school,

and that's when I think performers who are parents do find more difficulties,

when their children are at school all day.

So do you see Siella following your footsteps and performing?

I definitely don't want to be a stage dad where I,

oh look, here she is…

Yeah, no, she can dress how she wants.

I would never push her to do anything.

I'm not the type of stage dad who's gonna force her in any way.

If you had no worries, all the money in the world, no health problems,

no responsibilities, no worries at all,

what would you do?

Charity work.

My husband and I actually do a lot of charity work here in Vegas

for a cause that we're very connected to.

I would fully throw myself into the philanthropy world.

- Awesome. Thank you. - Thank you.

Every family has a different makeup,

but the common thread across the board is love.

And in the end, love always wins.

PureNordic Multi Pack - Marks Shrimp Tanks 🦐 - Duration: 6:54.

Hello guys and Welcome to Mark's Shrimp Tanks.

Today we're gonna do an overview of this food here called Pure Nordic's Shrimp Food Range,

because I absolutely love this stuff. I love it.

I only really use my own food that you can see over here, and Pure Nordic stuff now,

because I'd rate them higher than most foods I've used, to date.

I'm not saying there will never be a better food than the ones that we make,

but this is the ones I highly recommend.

To give you an example, um, I have these Pure Nordic Range from Dennis.

Dennis is the producer, he is the maker of this wonderful food.

Um

I've been through 2 bottles of this stuff in about 2 months.

Let's see, DayByDay, this is my third bottle of this already.

It has 75 grams in it and it is absolutely wonderful.

What we're gonna do today though is um, I want to show you something to make you aware that we...

well now, Dennis actually sells smaller packs than this, because I know a lot of people can't afford this.

This is a premium quality food. It's like the best of the best kind of food that you can buy for your shrimp.

Ingredient wise as well. The shrimp absolutely love it.

I mean, you guys know me as well, I wouldn't push a product if I didn't think it was really really fantastic,

and this stuff really is.

Okay?

Dennis has made them available in a Multi Pack now

to make it easier, and more affordable, for you guys to buy them, okay?

So let's go over here and we'll look at one of the Multi Packs.

Let me see, lemme angle you down with the camera, just a second...

This is the Multi Pack that you get.

Um, I have them in my store.

And this is what basically you get guys, you get 6 packets of food.

You get a little spoon, this is for your NutriDust.

Let's go through them because I'm, the reason I'm gonna go through them in a specific way as well guys

is because Dennis has worked out a feeding regime for these as well.

Okay so you, let's do...

Monday is DayByDay.

Tuesday is WhiteStix.

Where's WhiteStix? There it is.

And then Wednesday is NannoStix.

And then Thursday is, where is it? NordSnow.

Let's do this, let's condense it a little bit so we can get it all in the picture.

NordSnow, and then it should be Amano...

AminoStix for Saturday.

And, and you're asking me "Mark, but there's more days than you have stuff here?"

And that is because on Thursday you would feed DayByDay again.

DayByDay is your everyday type of food.

Uh, WhiteStix is a mineral supplement.

NannoStix is an algae based food.

NordSnow is a soya based food, it's really good.

AminoStix is a protein based food.

And NutriDust is a food for your baby shrimp, okay?

So, you have a food here for every single day of the week apart from Sunday.

Dennis recommends that you don't feed at least one day a week

so the shrimp can clear their gut, ready for the next week.

And what you do with NutriDust is, any tank that you have babies in,

you feed this to them with your little scoop, one scoop at night time before you, before the lights go off basically,

because I have noticed as well that baby shrimp are more active at lights out than at any other time, okay?

So there is the Pure Nordic Range.

So let's go and have a look at some stuff.

I wanna show you the NutriDust to start with,

'cause I absolutely love NutriDust.

What NutriDust does basically is it creates a biofilm in your tank for your baby shrimp.

I mean the adult shrimp will also eat it as well, but it is specifically designed for baby shrimp.

It has Protein extract from a certain type of bacteria, it has Brewer's Yeast, Montmorillonite, Moringa.

Moringa is absolutely full of vitamins and minerals as well.

And the dosage for this is one little scoop a day.

Now I know for sure [laughing] I'm not going to be able to get this scoop out with one finger... I know I'm not.

I just wanna show you guys in advance, because I've thought about making this video.

Um, I wanna show you guys the results of what NutriDust does to a tank.

Now I deliberately not cleaned the glass on this panel over here, to show you.

Lemme turn off the light here, just so you can see.

And all will become clear...

You see here? This is what NutriDust, this is what it will do to your tank.

It will provide the shrimp with a nice layering of biofilm.

Okay?

Have a little shrimp here, we have a little... I think it's a King Kong here, you see that near my finger?

There's a shrimp here as well, there's one up here. There's a shrimp here.

So they're all over this area where the biofilm is, I can see them on the back glass as well,

you might be able to see them up there.

And then you come over here to the viewing panel, where I like to look at my shrimp,

and there's really not nothin here, I can't see any shrimp an the glass.

So this is what biofilm does in your tank, it is a layer of, um, different types of bacteria.

Biofilm, there's different kinds of structure in there as well, different types of algae and there's protozoa, etc.

Okay?

If I show you this angle you'll probably be able to see the biofilm as well.

See this here? It's like a green-y brown color all the way along here, that is what biofilm is.

If I put my hand in this tank and I specifically pick up this leaf,

you will be able to feel biofilm, um, it's like a slime coating on things.

This is what your baby shrimp love to eat.

It's vitally important for your adults as well, okay?

I highly recommend to anyone that is serious about breeding shrimp to at least try this range okay?

So if you try the range, Dennis has made it very affordable for you.

I will leave a link in the first comment of the video, probably the description as well, where you can buy this stuff.

Thank you for watching guys, I'll catch you in the next one.

Love you all,

Happy Shrimp Keeping!

10 Best Neck Pain Stretches - Ask Doctor Jo - Duration: 8:18.

Hey everybody its Doctor Jo and Kali and Bear, and today we're gonna show you the

top ten neck stretches. So let's get started.

So these 10 best neck stretches are in my opinion the best. They're not any kind

of scientific research behind it, it's just my favorites the ones that I've

found work best for me as well as my patients, so let's start out with a

cervical rotation. So with cervical rotation exercises, what we're doing is

we're just stretching out the muscles all around the neck here, so make sure

that you keep your head in a neutral position to do these rotational

stretches, so let's take a look. For cervical rotation range of motion, you're

just going to turn your head to the side almost like you're looking over your

shoulder and then back the other way.

Number two is going to be a cervical Sidebend or a neck sidebend, so those

are just working the muscles on the side to get those stretch out, so let's take a

look at that one. For a cervical side bending range of motion, you're going to

bring your ear towards your shoulder, but don't bring your shoulder up to your ear.

Number three is cervical extension where you're bringing your head back, and

that's gonna stretch those front muscles, so let's take a look at that. For a

cervical extension range of motion, you're just going to be looking up

towards the ceiling and then coming back down.

And number four is cervical flexion or neck flexion, so then you're going to be

stretching those muscles in the back as you bend forward, so let's check that one.

For a cervical flexion range of motion, you're just going to bring your

chin towards your chest and then come back up.

Number five is a chin tuck. Chin tuck is kind of a mix between a stretch and an

exercise and is one of my favorite stretches because it's super easy to do and it

really helps reset your neck if you're getting into bad posture, so you can do

it several times a day. And when you work at a computer a lot or when you're focusing

on something and you tend to get that forward neck posture, doing some simple

chin tucks are really effective to kind of help reset those muscles. So let's

take a look at that one. For chin tucks in sitting, you're going to actually

move your chin back, it's not tucking it forward, so place your finger on your

chin and leave your finger in one spot, and then tuck it in and hold it.

Number six a chest stretch. The reason it's important to stretch out these

chest muscles even though you don't always associate them with your neck, is

they really are. If these chest muscles are tight, it

tends to pull us forward and then again our head comes forward, and we get really

really tight muscles, so when you stretch out those chest muscles it helps open

you up and get you back into better posture, so let's check out that one. For

a corner chest stretch, place a hand on each side of the corner, and one foot in

the corner ,then push in and hold the stretch.

Number seven is an anterior scalene stretch. The scalene muscles, especially the

anterior ones, come through here right in through here, and so when those are tight,

it can put a lot of pressure here and pull our head down and forward and that

can cause a lot of pain, so let's check out that stretch. For a scaling stretch,

place your hand above your collarbone on the muscle, turn your head towards the

side you want to stretch, and then look up.

Number eight upper trap stretch. The upper traps are big-time ones that cause

pain in our neck. They're the ones up here that go right all the way up into

our neck here and then down into the shoulder, sometimes they have trigger

points, those muscles get really tight often when we're focused on something

for a long time when we have a lot of stress, so it's really important to

stretch those out, so let's take a look. For an upper trap stretch, take the arm

of the side that you want to stretch and either push it downwards or sit on it to

hold that shoulder down, then take the other hand on the side, and just pull it

over towards your shoulder, holding that stretch.

Number nine a levator scapulae stretch. The levator SCAP is again another one of

those muscles. I sits right here, it elevates or lifts our shoulder blades

that scapula, and the reason that's so important with our neck is because it

holds our stress the most. When we're stressed out, we get like this and it can

cause a lot of tension and pain, sometimes it gives people headaches

because it gives you a lot of pain here at the base of the skull down into the

neck, and sometimes even out into the shoulders, so that one's really important

to stretch, so let's take a look. For a levator scapulae stretch, the side that

you want to stretch, you're going to take your arm and put it up over your

shoulder and that's to stabilize that scapula, then you're going to take your

head down towards an angle almost like you're looking towards the opposite knee,

take your other hand and put it behind your head and give it a little extra

stretch.

Number ten is going to be a cervical rotation or a neck rotation with a towel.

Sometimes they're called snags and the reason the towel is so important is

because it helps kind of stabilize the spine, so if we want to rotate our neck

but only rotate it at certain vertebrae, you can use the towel to kind of

stabilize one and then move the rest, so it's a really good way to kind of get

some movement in the spine to help open up those joints there. If the facets are

kind of stuck, this is a great way to loosen that up and stretch everything

else, so let's take a look at that. For a neck rotation stretch with the towel,

take the towel and put it behind your neck, grab one side to anchor it down and

keep it there, then take the opposite hand put the towel up over your chin

across your ear and you're going to pull upwards in a way when you rotate your

neck to the side.

So there you have it, those are your 10 best neck stretches. If you have any

questions, leave in the comment section. If you'd like to help support my channel,

make sure you click up here, and don't forget to subscribe by clicking down

and I hope you feel better soon.

Over 50 and Childless: The Truth About Choosing Not to Have Children! Regrets, or no Regrets? - Duration: 10:51.

I I felt like I was criticized for not having a child and to the point where

people would ask me you know what's wrong like well maybe it's the birth

control pills and it was like maybe it's the vasectomy and I just and then I

finally said you know we can't have children and we're trying we just keep trying but we can't have them

Thank you so much for tuning back into 2nd Act TV we're continuing our

conversation today on childless after fifty and how we might feel about that

what led us to the decision you know circumstance or choice and joining me

today I'm so excited is one of my very very best friends from Texas well

actually she's joining me from Florida but we were friends in Texas going back

25 years Susan Josey, Susan thanks so much for joining me

Silke thank you for inviting me it's it's great to connect even if we're

connecting through technology it's always good to connect with you Susan

one of the reasons it's so special for me to have you on today's because as you

well know we went through these decisions together we've known each

other since we were you know in her late 20s 30s we went through the 40s and you

know there was a lot of thought given to that one of the reasons that we really

bonded was because we were in a neighborhood where during our

childbearing years that's all we grew up or or lived around is children

talk about that how was that for you ...it was it was very interesting because we

were really the only two women without children right and there's a lot of

pressure at that time to have a child or to explain why you're not having

children and I had chosen a career that where I traveled and it's a second

marriage for both my husband and me I was 30 when we married and I was not

ready at that to commit to having child neighbors would ask Oh Tom my husband

why don't you let Susan stay home and have a baby and I I thought letting me

stay home and have a baby was an interesting choice and as I watched the

neighbors and their family and and there were a couple of working women but in

our neighborhood most women stayed at home they raised

the children the husbands went to work and it was a very traditional

relationship yes and that was something that I personally did not see myself

fitting into ...so I and as you know I didn't either and and no we really

bonded over that yes you know and I get it I mean I I've thought about you know

do I regret not having children I don't I mean have you have I know we talked

about that you know in our 40s there was a twinge when we you know

thought maybe but what how how do you feel ...I can tell you that I don't regret it

it's been nice to just have the two of us to focus on the career we have my

husband had a child by previous marriage and I am so lucky to have him in my life

he's married and so I have a grandchild even though I'm not really a grandmother

I guess I'm not old enough but to enjoy children do my family and I didn't I

didn't go through the process of birthing them raising them and adding

that complexity to my life when I knew that it wasn't for me ... right especially

you were a very successful career woman it it yeah yeah it was a choice it was a

choice and it's a choice that I don't regret either I didn't I didn't want to

give birth you know and it's now they were opening up that conversation there

are a lot more women weighing in that previously felt like you can't say that

you know you obviously there must be something wrong with me if I don't want

children and we're here to say or at least well I'm here to say I know you're

here to say that that's not the case but that's why we want to hear from more

people as we continue on with these conversations ...with Paige and I for

example it means she doesn't have you know children either she did

want them and was unable and that's a whole other you know subject to itself what I

really wanted to cover with you today is those of us who made a conscious choice

and do not regret it ...I don't regret it and one of my friends was laughing she saw a

couple and she said oh they look so loving and they were an older couple

like my husband and I are now I'm I am I past the 60 mark and she said I will bet

that they never had children they just looked so happy and I said why do you

say that and she said because my husband and I fought over our kids so much that it

was difficult for us and I worried that I would have regrets

but I don't my life is very full I'm close with my niece and nephews and

their children and I'm I feel very complete and I don't have the worries that

I see some of my friends having with perhaps even raising a grandchild at my

age and that's something that I don't feel I I don't want to do that ...yeah I know I

I'm the same way and I think by opening these conversations more and more women

are joining in I've done more research on this when Paige brought it up and it's

all over the Internet's a very hot topic and it's a very touchy topic you know to

admit that we didn't want kids and it's okay ...yeah well and for a while I just

said you know we can't get pregnant but I didn't mention the fact that for a

long time we were using birth control well we were always using birth control

but then we made that permanent decision when I was in my early 30s for my

husband to have a vasectomy and I just said you know we can't get pregnant without

giving a lot of details and that would that would make people come that would

stop pestering me about when are you going to have a baby ....one of the the big

points of discussion is that you know you you want to have children who's

going to take care of you when you're older that's another thing that you and

I have in common we took of our parents yeah we were caregivers it

was it was a rough time I wouldn't wish that on any child you know I I certainly

I certainly wouldn't either and and you can never you can never depend on

someone to take care of you it's just like riding off on a horse and being you

know having your prince charming come that typically doesn't work either so I

think we have to take responsibility for taking care of ourselves and our family

and not expecting a child or a husband or anyone else we have to be responsible

for ourselves whether we choose to have children or not and my life is so

complete and I have children in my life and I absolutely love them but I don't

regret that I didn't give birth to them what what do you think was the hardest

part about your decision if any ... I think the the peer pressure was

difficult and wondering if I would have regrets and wondering what I was missing

and perhaps I missed something great I don't know that so I don't miss it I

know I look at so many of my friends now who are raising a grandchild due to some

complexities with their own children or their children had challenges and I

think I don't have I don't know I don't have those challenges in my life and I'm

thankful that I don't ... right, exactly well and that's the thing you'd you know does

a child make you complete a child can maybe a lot of people obviously believe

that and a lot of people have that ... and a lot of people don't you know there

are there are a lot of unwanted children in this world and there's no guarantee

that a child will bring will bring you happiness well and I think that the

third thing of the the many things we have in common of course is our love for

animals and I think that also can really to me in the nurturing that

did with rescue work and all that yes I saw them work yes I can't believe

they're still around oh I know I know I know

yes at one time Susan and I together had 12 dogs .. it was crazy so yeah so maybe we did

you know some people did say well that's because you never had kids you need to

give that that nurturing to something maybe that's true maybe it's not ...Susan

it was so great talking with you we are going to you know we're planning a

live studio show actually on this very topic because it is getting really big

and we're starting to get and develop a lot of interest in it so we will be

posting more information about how you can submit your questions or become part

of the show and I look forward to seeing you on another episode of 2nd Act TV

Always Silke, it's so great to connect bye take care bye

Reverse Mortgages: Know Before You Owe — consumerfinance.gov - Duration: 2:07.

Are you or someone you know considering getting a reverse mortgage?

A reverse mortgage is a type of loan for homeowners aged 62 and older often used to help pay for

living expenses.

Here's how they work.

With a reverse mortgage, you borrow money against the equity in your home.

Instead of paying interest and fees each month, they are added to your loan balance.

As the loan balance grows, your home equity shrinks.

Once the last borrower no longer lives in the house, the loan must be paid back,

but you will pay no more than the value of the house.

Keep in mind that You can lose your home if you don't meet the loan requirements.

Unlike a traditional mortgage, you have no monthly mortgage payments.

But you are still responsible for paying your property taxes & homeowner's insurance,

and maintaining your home.

If you can't pay these expenses, or if you stop living in your home for most of the year,

you can lose your home to foreclosure.

A reverse mortgage is not a government benefit.

The loan is made by a private lender and it must be paid back.

You'll need a plan for your future.

Think about your future housing and financial needs.

On average, a 65 year old is likely to live another twenty years or more.

Down the road, you may want to live in a smaller house or move closer to family.

If so, a reverse mortgage may not be right for you because you'll need to pay off that

growing loan balance when you sell your home

and may not have enough left to buy a new home.

Also, borrowing a reverse mortgage at a young age can be risky.

Later in life you're more likely to have less income and higher health care bills,

which could be a problem if you run out of loan proceeds.
