Skype Therapists - Online Therapy Sessions through Skype - Duration: 5:59.

Welcome.

My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional psychotherapist, based in Boulder, Colorado

and I offer online mindfulness therapy over Skype.

So, online psychotherapy through Skype is becoming increasingly popular and there are

now many Skype therapists who offer online psychotherapy for help with anxiety depression

and other non-clinical psychological problems.

The style of psychotherapy that I offer is called mindfulness therapy and it's very effective

indeed for treating anxiety and depression and many other common psychological suffering

that are caused by reactive thinking, by becoming overwhelmed by reactive and intrusive thoughts

that feeds the underlying anxiety or depression.

Mindfulness training is one of the best ways available to help you break these patterns

of habitual reactive thinking and stop feeding reactive thinking.

Then basically you're taking the fuel away from the emotion underneath.

So if you prevent that automatic habitual reactive thinking you essentially extinguish

the anxiety or depression.

Sometimes we have to work with the underlying core emotions themselves and this is done

also during mindfulness therapy sessions where we learn to change the way we relate to our

emotions and instead of reacting to them with avoidance or resistance or aversion, we can

instead cultivate a conscious, friendly relationship with our emotions, and this too is a very

effective and a very important step in promoting the healing of anxiety depression.

So if you're interested in working with Skype therapist like myself and you would like to

learn more about mindfulness approach for treating anxiety and depression, then do please

go to my website and then even e-mail me and we can schedule a Skype therapy session at

a time that was you.

Seeing Skype therapists is a very good option if you are not finding the right kind of therapist

to work with in your area.

Or if you're living abroad and can't find a local psychotherapist to work with or if

you are specifically interested in the mindful approach.

There are a growing number of psychotherapists who are trained in the use of mindfulness

but they are still not that widely available.

Also there's not a great understanding yet of what mindfulness actually is.

Most people who teach mindfulness as part of the psychotherapy are really teaching and

awareness skill, which is very useful and very important and a necessary first step

for overcoming these patterns of a habitual reactive thinking, but mindfulness is much,

much more than just awareness.

It is cultivating a particular quality of conscious relationship with your emotions

and also with your thoughts.

It's learning to develop such a strong relationship with your mind that you become free from your

mind, that is from thoughts and memories and emotions.

Developing this inner freedom is the ultimate goal of mindfulness therapy and it's essential,

as I say, to develop this quality of relationship to undo those patterns of habitual reactivity

that feeds your emotional suffering.

So please feel free to contact me if you would like to schedule a Skype therapy session.

The service is available worldwide, and I see many people in Europe and further afield

as well as in the USA.

So I look forward to hearing from you and working with you and explaining to you how

we can work using mindfulness therapy to overcome your anxiety or depression.

Thank you.

Why Humans in Mario Make EVERYTHING Complicated! (Super Mario Odyssey Theory) | SwankyBox - Duration: 8:09.

Ahem…

Why is this a thing?

Either Mario is super short, or these people are really tall.

Super Mario Odyssey really has thrown a wrench into things in terms of clarifying the sheer

size difference between Mario and what appear to be normal everyday people.

Prior to seeing the Odyssey trailer and e3 gameplay, I was already wondering about Mario's

odd body shape for quite a while…

And not just his…

All the plumber bros.

For those who have watched my video where I calculate Mario's age, we know that Mario

has to be much older than he looks.

My final thought was that something was up…

And in this video, we're going to cover just that.

We're going to talk about the weirdness of the Mario Bros…

And the Wario Bros!

(Is that what they're even called?

I honestly have no idea, but Waluigi is the best out of any plumber - just saying.)

Let's start by taking a look at the build of these plumbers.

A defining feature of these plumber-esque people is their enormous schnoz.

I mean take a look at the size of their noses!

They even jiggle when they move sometimes, as if they are loosely adhered to their faces.

And beyond that, Wario's and Waluigi's noses are oddly pink.

Next we have their iconic staches that sit right under the nose, and each mustache is

sort of tailored to their personality.

Their heads seem abnormally large, especially in comparison to other human characters in

the series.

While large heads have always been a staple in the Mario series, I feel like the scale

and stature of the plumbers is off.

Which leads us to the following situation:

We have three very different types of humans here.

We have the exaggerated plumbers, the humans who have a pretty cartoony build, and then

the most realistic humans from Super Mario Odyssey.

However, all three of these humans coexist in the Mario universe…

And it throws a wrench into things.

From what we can tell the Mario Bros were certainly born in the Mushroom Kingdom, and

this was further confirmed at E3 with an official statement saying that Mario is a native son

of the Mushroom Kingdom.

At what point he crossed over into the real world to battle enemies in the sewers of New

York is unknown, but we finally have something solid to base Mario on: The plumbers are short,

and they certainly aren't human.

And this was something I think we all wanted to say from the start.

Super Mario Sunshine definitely gave us the short vibe right away - from door frames to

surfboards that towered over Mario.

But the human thing was always debatable.

We never knew if the Mario bros were just an exaggerated human form in terms of how

they were drawn, or if they really looked that way across the board.

Think of it as a stylized drawing of sorts, where up until gathering future information,

humans were simply imagined to look like the Mario Bros in their universe.

Once other humans were introduced, like in the Mario Golf series, we then stopped to

think about what humans possibly look like in comparison to the plumbers.

A great deal of us grew up with the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, which sort of just

made us assume humans were represented this way.

But now that we know humans are different from our plumbers and other cartoonish humans,

things change a bit.

For one, it's possible for Mario to be old in human years but young in Mushroom Kingdom

years.

The lifespan of someone of Mushroom Kingdom descent is unknown, and could be hundreds

of years for all we know.

The events of Super Mario Galaxy definitely make this outlook on things possible, given

the large amounts of time covered between the games.

We also know that both the cartoonish humans and plumbers of the Mushroom Kingdom are also

delivered via stork.

In Yoshi Island DS we can see that the storks are carrying a variety of humans, and that

only the ones deemed "star children" appear to be different looking.

But what makes "plumbers" so different than everyone else?

Why is their physique…

Weird?

We do have a few references to go off of to really take a look at what we're working

with here.

The first is Wario's internal structure as depicted in his artwork from Wario World.

We get to see how his body is laid out, and that he doesn't have a neck at all really.

His head is resting right on the upper part of his collarbone.

We can see his various internal organs, what he has been eating, and some other odd cutaways

that I don't understand why Nintendo showed us.

But, the measurements on Wario are absolutely insane…

The average stomach can hold 2 liters, possibly pushing 3 or 4 at maximum capacity.

Wario's can hold 22 gallons…

Which is a whopping 83.27 liters.

Yet, he's still pretty short, as his size is still relative to Mario's.

He's comparable to Luigi in height, but he is far wider than any of the plumbers.

It also says he weighs 308 pounds, which is 139.7 kilograms…

Although Wario appears to be offended by this number, I can't help but feel it is true.

He must be extremely dense to fit all that within his short height.

It is worth noting that Wario has changed sizes over the years, from being monstrously

big in the past, to the current size he has today.

We also don't know if that 308 pounds includes the weight of a full stomach either…

Because 22 gallons weighs around 183.48 pounds or 83.16 kilos.

So it's apparent that the bodies of these plumbers don't adhere to normal rules as

well, especially given what Wario eats on a regular basis.

Swinging over to the second reference, we have the skeletal systems of Mario and Luigi.

Both of these skeletons can be sourced from Super Mario Galaxy and I have to say they

are pretty creepy looking.

However, they do have a lot of interesting characteristics that clash with actual human

skeletons.

For starters, they don't have fingers or toes for some reason.

They just have a circular hump where the hand and feet are…

Perhaps the fingers and toes are cartilage or something else?

It is rather confusing.

They also don't have the split in their legs where the Tibia and Fibula are.

Same goes for the Ulna and Radius split in the arms.

Wario, however, does have the split in his arms…

Which makes things even more odd.

He has a collarbone whereas Mario and Luigi do not.

Does this mean they are a different species as well?

I mean, Wario and Waluigi do have distinct pink noses without explanation.

Could we really be looking at four different types of humans here?

Why is this so complicated?

Obviously we can definitely be overthinking things, and certain things could always be

argued that different artists simply worked on different projects, but for me all of this

becomes part of the lore.

Mario spent time in Brooklyn at some point in the past for an extended period of time.

However, unlike how I believed in the past, he was not a normal human there.

He was more than likely an odd one out due to how short and exaggerated his features

were.

This also means that Mario can be over a hundred years old because we don't know how long

the lifespan of a native Mushroom Kingdomer is.

I mean, people are just now freaking out about a single grey hair found on Mario's head

in Super Mario Odyssey.

The first sign of Mario actually aging?

How long until he ends up like this fella?

There's just so many questions…

And since Super Mario Odyssey planted the idea of realistic humans coexisting with cartoon

ones, we are left with possibly four distinct species of humans in the Mario Universe.

Wrap your head around that for a second. It's a lot to try to understand.

But, now that I've dumped that on all of you, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

What do you think about the whole "real human thing" introduced by Super Mario Odyssey?

Do you think Mario and Luigi are a different species than Wario and Waluigi?

And last, do you think it's farfetched to assume we are working with four different

types of humans here?

Let me know in the comments below!

13 Amazing Things That Are Happening In The World Right Now - Duration: 6:16.

13 Amazing Things That Are Happening In The World Right Now

While world news may not seem upbeat at this current moment in time, that does not mean that there aren't any good things going on.

Despite all the bad, there are quite a few monumental good things happening in current times that you need to know about!

Lately it seems that the people doing good in this world do not get anywhere near as much press as they should,

and that makes it extremely important for us to bring them to light.

Below you will find a list of some of the most amazing things happening right now.

Did you know about any of these things?

1.

Scientists have classified a new type of Aurora called Steve.

This new aurora looks like a ribbon of flickering light, and it was spotted in the Northern hemisphere.

You can see Steve in the image below.

2.

Doctors were finally successful in reversing brain damage.

Researchers in the United States have reportedly reversed brain damage on a 2-year-old girl who drowned in a pool,

and was brought back to life.

Her brain had been damaged greatly and she could not speak, respond to voices, or walk.

All she was able to do was shake her head and fidget.

Thanks to treatment from researchers she is doing significantly better, and her damage has been reversed, for the most part.

3.

We are close to sustainable nuclear fusion.

For those who are not aware, nuclear fusion could easily be the solution needed for us to have an almost unlimited energy source with few

byproducts.

At the end of 2015, Germany began testing out a reactor of this stature, and it has been successful for quite some time now.

According to scientists from MIT, fusion energy should be on the grid before 2030.

4.

NASA has released all of its research to the public and it's free!

NASA made an announcement last year that their research would be available for free on a new public web portal that would be accessible to

any and everyone.

5.

Hyperloops are well on their way.

Elon Musk has been working on hyperloops for quite some time now.

They will be shuttle-like tube containers that move people between cities at insane speeds.

Test hyperloops are being built across the globe, and it is hoped that the Hyperloop between Paris and Amsterdam will be ready before 2021.

6.

We can now listen to the Universe.

Yes, believe it or not, we can listen to the Universe!

We have been detecting at least two more gravitational waves since 2015, and hope to use new space-based detectors like LISA to learn more

about them.

7.

We are close to getting rid of the Guinea Worm parasite for good!

This parasite is a living nightmare, to say the least.

A guinea worm is a parasite that gets under your skin and erupts.

Cases of this have been dwindling because of how accessible cheap drinking straw filters have become.

8.

We may soon be able to turn seawater into drinking water.

Researchers found themselves at a major turning point back in April of this year.

They created a graphene-oxide membrane that sieves salt right out of seawater.

While research is still in progress and limited to the lab, it is a wonderful step in the right direction.

9.

Alzheimer's might be reversible!

According to research from MIT lost memories might not truly be as lost as we assumed they were.

MIT researchers have now shown that they can reverse memory loss in mice by interfering with the enzyme that forms the blockade.

While more research needs to be done this could be quite an amazing find.

10.

We now know how to repair spinal cord injuries.

While this is not an easy thing to do it can be done!

Recent research shows that by using one of the most cutting-edge techniques it can be accomplished.

For more on this click here.

11.

A treatment for Autism is on the way.

While this trial was small, it has proven itself to be quite beneficial.

Scientists have found that by using suramin, the symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder in children improved.

While there is a lot of work behind it, this could be seen as a potential treatment for ASD symptoms.

12.

Polio may be a thing of the past.

In 2016, there were only 19 reported cases of polio worldwide, and so far in 2017 there have been less than 10 confirmed cases.

13.

A vitamin has been found that could reduce miscarriages and prevent birth defects.

A 12-year-long study has shown us that women could possibly avoid these things by taking vitamin B3 during their pregnancies.

Inspired by an article written by Fiona McDonald for Science Alert.

BREAKING: Al Gore Just Got Humiliated | Top Stories Today - Duration: 3:11.

Al Gore has been in the news a lot over the past couple of months.

He has been doing his usual speaking events and even has a new movie out.

Now, he is in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Gore's new movie, "An Inconvenient Sequel," is bombing at the box office.

Besides the horrible reviews coming in, one climatologist, Roy W. Spencer, principal research

scientist at the University of Alabama, took his critique of the film to the next level.

According to The Washington Times, Spencer just released an eBook on Amazon titled, An

Inconvenient Deception: How Al Gore Distorts Climate Science and Energy Policy.

On Spencer's blog, he relayed his thoughts on the film in the most straightforward way

possible: "The new movie and book are chock-full of bad science, bad policy, and factual errors."

The scientist went on to point out some glaring logic fallacies in Gore's new film.

He noted that Gore says again and again that naturally occurring weather episodes are directly

tied to human interaction, though that has never been proven.

As an example, Spencer pointed out the rising sea level myth is bogus for two reasons.

He stated that there has been no increased rise of the sea level — aside from what

was already happening in the 1800s.

Spencer's second rebuttal to Gore's claim is the "satellite-measured sinking of the

reclaimed swamps that have been built upon for over 100 years in Miami Beach."

In other words, if you build your house on a swamp foundation, it is going to sink slowly,

but not because of global warming.

Some would argue that the most thought-provoking part of Spencer's dismantling of Gore are

Spencer's credentials.

Besides his education, and working for a college, he is also an award-winning NASA scientist.

He has looked over all of the available documentation and finds it lacking, something that Gore

probably didn't do because it would have made his movie impossible to film.

Despite the angry cries from the Left, Spencer remains a climate skeptic.

Spencer has also written three books on climate change, so it can be argued with confidence

that he knows what he is talking about.

Especially when you consider that he has the documentation to back up his argument.

One of the most embarrassing aspects of this situation for Gore was Spencer's point-by-point

rebuttal, which he released two weeks after the film came out.

After the release of his rebuttal to "An Inconvenient Sequel," sales plummeted.

The movie only managed to earn a meager $333,007 on opening weekend.

Considering that this is a 59 percent drop over the first film, one can see Gore's

agenda crumbling.

People are becoming more privy to the signs that climate change needs to be examined further.

When Gore tries to demonize people who ask questions, it only turns those away who may

have been willing to adopt his ideology.

Mr. Spencer may have put the icing on the cake, but at the end of the day, Al Gore has

managed to do the most damage to himself.

what do you think about this?

Will I Read the Next Game of Thrones Book? - Duration: 3:39.

Oh hi! Reading is so dumb. It's just a bunch of squiggles on dead trees. It'll

often make me feel curious, happy, or even want to cry. And yet I find myself drawn

to it. Not recently because I've been stressing out about a million and one

things. So really the only thing I have been reading is Twitter. Which if you're

in the mood for gross devil haikus that make you want to punch things, then

Twitter's for you! Not a sponsor. One of my favorite memories from the last

decade is being introduced to the Song of Ice and Fire series. Now it's known as

Game of Thrones, which honestly is a better title.

About the only thing that could be better is: Dragons Fight Ice Zombies... Eventually.

A trilogy in eight volumes. I'd been recommended to read the series for years

and when I got my Audible account I decided what better book to listen to

than this dense fantasy novel. Audible is also not a sponsor, but really should be.

The dulcet tones of Roy Dotrice greeted me, and I knew I needed to know how this

story ended. In fact I listened to every audiobook in this series. I never truly

read the books in the classic sense, or even the present sense. Fun fact! Roy

Dotrice actually shows up in the show as the

pyromancer in the fifth episode of season 2. Fun fact!

Maybe. For five seasons of the show I got to be a smug book reader. I could

lord it over the watchers of the show when something shocking happened.

"Oh," I said to them, "just you wait. There's so much more." I said this while laughing

maniacally and petting my rented cat. They didn't ... they didn't invite me back

to the parties. Now each episode brings new information, things I'm sure are only

going to happen in the show, and answers to theories the fans of the series have

had for years. George R. R. Martin, the mastermind behind the novels, is

seemingly unable to finish what he started. I have no idea when the next

book is gonna come out, but probably after the HBO show is finished. And even

then there's another book he has to write. There are moments that the show has

had: like Arya and Sansa meeting after years apart,

Daenerys stepping onto Westeros soil, or Jamie's seen a dragon for the very first time.

These moments I wish I'd been able to listen or read Martin's prose. Yes

George R. R. Martin is credited with creating this fantastical world but I

also think he's just a really great writer. He's able to craft these moments

that can change from whimsical and funny, to soul-crushing the next. It's like

going on a first date with me. The only recent example I can think of is that if

somehow Warner Brothers had fast-tracked the Harry Potter series and finished

before JK Rowling could have. I still would have read the books it just would

have felt wrong. But I know this is kind of a weird eccentricity. I tend to

believe that fiction cannot be ruined by knowing the ending to it. Good fiction

that is. It's the character moments, the dialogue, the journey to the destination

that creates lasting and memorable stories. Now I've enjoyed

the HBO series immensely. I would probably put it into my top 10 TV shows

of all time. But I wanted to be a smug book reader

forever. So to answer the question of this video title, yes I'm gonna read them.

I just really wish I knew when I'm gonna get the chance. I guess I'll just wait

patiently. Just like winter, the ending is coming, whether I like it or not. Thank

you so much for watching! Let me know if you're a book reader and if you've

enjoyed the series down in the comments below. My name is Kyle. I upload videos

every Monday and Thursday– or you know you could just send a raven

because apparently they reach anywhere in the world in 20 minutes.

IS THE LAW OF ATTRACTION SCIENTIFICALLY VALID - Duration: 7:11.

IS THE LAW OF ATTRACTION SCIENTIFICALLY VALID

By Kaia Roman

Guest writer for Wake Up World

The word manifestation triggers different responses for different people. For some,

its a woo woo concept based in fantasy. For others, its a belief that drives a

way of living.

I was introduced to the concept of manifestation as a child, told by my parents that I could

visualize whatever I wanted and that would draw it to me. This has worked, in varying

degrees, throughout my life.

But its not always that simple. Imagining what I want while feeling bad about not having

it creates a mixed messagea split focus for both the brain and the Universeand

it never works to give me the outcome I desire. So how do you manifest something you dont

have yet, without focusing on lack?

THE JOY PLAN

Longing to know the truth about manifestation, Ive explored the science behind it for

years. However, my exploration into the topic took a turn from curiosity to full-on science

experiment when I reached a particularly low time in my life.

In desperation, I grabbed onto an idea based on The Law of Attraction that Id

heard of, as if it was a life raft. The idea was that 30 days of focusing on your own joy

is long enough to completely change your life. Calling on the body of scientific and personal

research into hormones, neurotransmitters, mindfulness, and manifestation I had amassed

over many years, I calculated a synthesized plan to go after joy from all angles. I called

it The Joy Plan.

And it worked! Over the next 30 days and in the months that followed, my life and the

lives of those around me transformed. I was shocked at how fast it happened. Once I figured

out how to harness the neurobiology of joy and apply it in simple ways every daymy

life morphed before my very eyes.

I chronicled my experience in a book called The Joy Plan; its my 320-page sticky note

to refer back to when hard times rock my boat again (which they undoubtedly will). But while

The Joy Plan is my story, its not just about me. Ultimately, it demonstrates how

to find joy in your current life, even when it feels out of reach, and then watch your

life transform to match your joy.

HERES WHY I THINK IT WORKS: Numerous studies in the arena of sports have

shown that visualizing an outcome daily, such as dunking baskets in basketball, is nearly

equal in effectiveness to actually performing the action, such as the daily practice of

free throws. Group meditation with a focus on peace in certain urban areas has been correlated

with a reduction in crime rate.

So, does manifestation really work?

First of all, I believe science and spirituality are two sides of the same coin, each informing

and shaping the other. While there may be a higher power or deep, inner wisdom that

answers the call of the desires we wish to manifest, our brains also play an important

part in the equation.

Neural networksclusters of neurons in the braingrow stronger and larger each time

we repeat thoughts and behaviors. Eventually, after theyre activated frequently enough,

neural networks clump together to form neural pathways, like favorite highways our brains

prefer because they are well-worn and familiar.

Our repeated thoughts eventually shape the way we see and experience the world, and thus

inform our actions and reactions. Our minds become pre-disposed to return to repeated

thought patterns which activate the neural pathways our brains have become accustomed

to. In fact, we unknowingly seek out evidence to confirm those thought patterns because

our neural pathways are always hard at work.

As the ancient proverb says, Watch your thoughts for they become words. Watch your

words for they become actions. Watch your actions for they become habits. Watch your

habits for they become your character. Watch your character for it becomes your destiny.

Albert Einstein said, The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It

cannot be changed without changing our thinking. He also explained, when describing his famous

equation E=MC2, that Mass and energy are both but different manifestations of the same

thinga somewhat unfamiliar conception for the average mind.

So if thoughts create our world and energy is just as real as mass, we can utilize the

energy of our thoughts to create tangible results in life. This is not just philosophy;

this is physics.

WHAT YOU THINK, YOU BECOME

Quantum physics has proven that, at the subatomic level, all matter is made of energy and our

thoughts influence the behavior of that energy. Scientists have found in study after study

that our observations of reality alter the reality we observe. In fact, quantum physicists

claim it is the very act of observing reality that creates it in the first place. Essentially,

our thoughts shift subatomic particles and create our physical world.

Our brains have an inbuilt experiential bias, favoring memories with a strong emotional

charge. Were also programmed with a cognitive bias that requires three positive experiences

to balance the impact of one negative experience. Stored memories are often played on a feedback

loop, activating strong neural pathways and triggering repeated thoughts, behaviors, and

thus, experienceswhether negative or positive.

Knowing all of this, Ive come to the conclusion that positive thoughts really are the key

to manifesting what I want in life. By consciously forming new neural networks, and eventually,

neural pathways, associated with feelings of joy, abundance, and possibility, I can

open up more than my brainI can open up my world.

When we find joy in spite of the conditions were currently experiencing, those conditions

morph to match our joy. By intentionally practicing thinking new thoughts, we can create new patterns

in our brains, which ultimately translate into a new experience of life.

Buddha said, What you think, you become. And I believe neuroscientists would say the

same. Our experience of life is shaped by what we think about it, and whether you call

that manifestation, The Law of Attraction, or simply the power of positive thinking,

if you can do it, youll be on track to a joyful life.

Thank you.

Digital Transformation: The Services Economy (LiquidHub, CXOTalk) - Duration: 5:14.

I'm Michael Krigsman, an industry analyst and the host of CxOTalk.

I'm in Las Vegas at the FinancialForce user event called Community Live, 2017.

And I have the pleasure of speaking with Joe Grover, who is a partner with LiquidHub.

Hey, Joe!

Morning, Michael!

Tell us about LiquidHub!

LiquidHub is an IT technology company focused on, the way we like to describe it as, "re-engaging

with our customers."

Reimagining engagement.

What does that mean?

It means that we're focused on the full service of delivery of how you engage with

your customer, whether they be internal or external.

But, really it's about changing the way you think.

SO, your clients are building out digital interactions?

That's right.

Digital interactions.

They are…

They do it every day.

They try to interact with their customers in a way that's effective, efficient and focused

on what the customer needs.

And we help them do that through research and design activities that result in building

something, and possibly operating that through to fruition.

Give us an example of the kind of thing you're working on.

The greatest example I can think of, and this may actually pull it together in a couple

of ways, as we recently had a project with a company in the healthcare industry.

And they were trying to interact with their customers, and this was in the Medicare space

and they were trying to build an app.

And, they had the strategy of they did their research, all of their customers had smartphones;

so they were comfortable with the technology.

So, they rolled this app out, and it didn't take.

And, we did our research, we went and talked to the customers.

And the interesting component… because it was older individuals and they were trying

to engage with them is that the app was, we'll call it "heavy" on their phone.

Because, to download it, they would have to delete pictures of their grandchildren or

their kids or their vacations.

They just didn't engage!

So then, we reimagined that with them when we built something that was light and was

more of a web-based cloud platform-type delivery as opposed to an app on your phone.

And it helped them tremendously.

So, there was an adoption issue because they didn't understand their market; their audience.

They didn't have the full picture!

Yeah, they didn't realize that pictures were more important than apps.

So, this is a very service-oriented focus; really using that customer as a reference

point.

It is.

The service component of that…

It drives to a focus, right?

I think my description of that is when I go to my bank and check my account, I like to

log in.

I like to go right to my checking account and check my balance.

That effort for me is focused.

I don't necessarily look at all the other things that are there.

I just want that service.

That service is important to me to get quickly and get it wherever I need it.

You've been mentioning the term "service" a few times, and the theme of this conference

is the new services economy.

And so, how does that view intersect with what you're doing?

So, my role in the organization is leading delivery operations.

So, I deal every day with all of the customer data that we get and pulling that all together

and getting it to an invoicing capability or just getting the customer information they

need to be able to consume our services.

Having the right data that's easily consumable is why we chose that.

It gives us the ability, and our managers and executives the ability, to make decisions

on that data.

And that's hugely important to us.

So, there's an issue of efficiency, but it sounds like speed and responsiveness to

your customers is a primary facet here as well.

That is absolutely true, Michael.

And I think that's true, not only for us but in the general economy.

"Speed and efficiency" is the new mantra.

We have to respond to our customers in a way that gives them what they need when they need

it effectively.

They expect it.

They expect it every time.

So, speed is a fundamental component of digital transformation.

But, it also, there's a challenge associated with that because inside a large organization,

they need to cross siloes and learn how to collaborate in a different way.

They do, and I think that's where we bring a difference to the model.

We build multidisciplinary teams.

You think about the traditional project approach to IT projects, you get your manager, you

would get your technology folks, you would get your developers, and you pull them together

in a team, and you deliver the technology.

Today, what we do is we pull research analysts together with design specialists, along with

the technology folks and the project managers to build a full, end-to-end solution in that

space.

What advice do you have for large companies who want to undertake this kind of program

of transformation themselves?

The most important advice I think I can give is to be open-minded in your approach.

The economy's changed.

We have raised our children to expect different things than we do, and that open-minded approach

will lead you to places you never imagined you could be.

Great!

Joe Grover, thank you very much!

Thank you!

High School Musical 4: Fan Made Trailer Goes Viral | Once a Wildcat: Teaser Trailer - Duration: 2:38.

This High School Musical 4 Trailer May Be Fake But We're Still Shook.

Next year would technically mark the the 10-year reunion for the Wildcats class of 2008, and

some people aren't entirely optimistic about what that would look like for Troy, Gabriella,

Ryan, Sharpay, Chad and Taylor.

In fact, one fake, fan-made trailer for High School Musical 4—which was dubbed Once a

Wildcat—actually kinda bummed us out (probably because it's all too relatable).

It features various clips from movies and shows that Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley

Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman have all worked on separately, splicing

them together to create a plot line that makes the reunion look a little, well, bleak.

Essentially, the story focuses on the difficulties of growing up, especially when it comes to

love, marriage and relationships.

Ryan admits he "took the fast-track to marriage and kids," while Sharpay appears to be doing

well in her career, but it's really Troy and Gabriella that got us down.

From the looks of it, the former high school sweethearts haven't spoken much since graduation,

and there seems to be some emotions still attached to their teenage relationship.

In fact, Gabrielle can't help but wonder if she should think about settling down as she

approaches 30, while Troy admits he can't stop thinking about what she's doing.

At one point, Taylor even appears to be talking with Gabriella, asking, "Are you going to

hold onto this...forever?"

Needless to say, it's got us a little emotional...and that seems to be a common feeling.

Tisdale tweeted out the trailer noting how "funny" and "creative" it was, but fans were

not having it, responding, "funny???

What about my feelings?

This is sad af."

The actress ended up apologizing, writing, "Sorry for making you guys cry!

Just wanted to give a shout out to whoever made it!

The YouTube creator hsmutube actually explained the purpose behind the fake trailer, writing,

"We're living in a time of reboots and remakes and so I thought it would be fun to see what

Troy and Gabriella have been doing these past 10 years.

Still wishing that one day they all come back to do a reunion movie."

As HSM fans know, a High School Musical 4 is definitely in the works.

However, it won't feature Efron or Hudgens.

Rather, the film will focus on Sharpay and Ryan's cousin, who is an accomplished athlete

as well as a talented musical theater star.

Crochet Cat Towel - Duration: 23:42.

Hello everyone, welcome I'm Kerri. Today I'll be showing you how to

decorate a towel with cats, mice and birds which we've made on previous

videos. You can click on a link to see these. I'll be showing you how to make

the beach ball and the grass. I've added markings on two of the cats using chain

and we'll have a close-up photo on my website. For the mice I've left the

whiskers off and we'll add them when I sew them on the towel. You'll need

different colors of wool or crochet cotton. I use four ply cotton. You'll also

need a crochet hook, sewing needle scissors, and towel. I'm going to start

with the beach ball. I'm going to do three colors for the beach ball today.

I'll start with blue and make a magic loop as if I'm doing a chain and pull it

loose and then I work one chain and 12 single crochet into the circle. A single

crochet is into the circle and pick up a loop yarn around and through the two, so

12 single crochet.

I take hold of the tail and pull it tight and then slip stitch into the

first chain. Now I'm going to work three chain and work a double crochet into the

same spot as my chain, so I put my yarn around the hook I go into my crocheting and

bring up another loop, yarn around through two and yarn around, through two. Now I work

two more double crochet into the next stitch, now I'm ready to start with my

red so I put my yarn around with the blue into the stitch and then I'm going

to bring up my red loop and yarn around and through the two,

yarn around and through two. Now I'm going to work another double crochet

with my red into the same stitch I'm going to crochet in my tail and the

blue until I need it again. So I'll hold them there another double crochet in to

that stitch and then two double crochet with the red into the following stitch.

Now I'm going to join my yellow so I put the yarn around with my red into the

following stitch and I'll bring up my yellow.

And I finished the stitch using the yellow and do another double crochet in

the same spot and then two double crochet with the yellow into the next

stitch.

Now I'm back to the blue, so I'll go into the stitch yarn around with the yellow

and then bring up my blue. Then we'll work another double crochet with my blue

and then two more double crochet into the next stitch here.

Now it's the turn for the red, so I bring up my red and have the two in the

next two stitches.

And for the last two stitches I work my yellow.

And then I slip stitch into the third chain, and that's the first row done. Now

I'm going to bring up my blue and work three chain just pull my yellow a little

bit tighter, and I'm bringing up my other threads and I'll work them in as I go

around. For row three I'll be using the same colors as I did before. So blue here,

red here, and yellow here. And I start with three chain and do a double crochet

into the same spot with my blue. And then I'm going to work one double crochet

into each of the next two stitches, I'm still crocheting in the yellow and the

red.

And then into the following stitch I'm going to work two double crochet.

Now I start with my red and I work two double crochet into the first stitch, one

into each of the next two,

and then two into the following stitch.

So I'll do that in each section around.

For each color I work two into the first, one into the next two, and two into the

last one. so I'll do that and then I'll come back. When we get to the end of the

row we do a slip stitch into the third chain. I will bring up the first color

and work three chain and we'll work our

two threads behind. Now we do a double crochet into the same stitch as the three

chain. Then we work one double crochet into each of the next two,

and two double crochet into the next stitch,

and then one double crochet into each of the next two stitches.

And now we're ready to change colours, so I'll pick up my red and work two double

crochet into the next stitch,

one into each of the next two,

two into the next stitch,

and one into each of the next two stitches.

And we do that in each colour, we work two into the first stitch, one into each of

the next two, two into the following stitch, and then one into each of the

next two. So I'll do that round and I'll come back. Now when you finish you just

slip stitch into the third chain. Now that's as big as I'm going to make my

beach ball today. If you wanted a bigger one you just increase evenly around, make

sure you've got the same amount of stitches on each colour. So I fasten off and

then I'll have to weave in my endings.

Next I'll show you how to do the grass. I'll show you on a face washer because I

wouldn't be able to fit a towel in here. We just start with chain,

we do a row of chain.

Now I always like to have more chain than I think I'll need, because I don't

want to have to undo it all and redo it.

I'll just do a few more, that should that should be enough but just in case when I

crochet it pulls in a bit. For my first grass blade I like to have a higher

grass blades at the edge so I'll do an extra nine chain.

Now I'm going to work a single crochet into the second chain from the hook. And

now I'm going to single crochet seven, it depends on how big you

want your blades of grass.

For the last one before I join I like to do a double crochet for the

first blade of grass. Now I join in the third chain from the hook, I'm

going to do a slip stitch and that brings my blade of grass up, it will sit

up. Now if you'd like to have space between your blades of grass, you could

do single crochet, a few single crochet and then do more chain, but I'm

just going to do blades of grass. I do random lengths of grass. I don't

want them all a uniform length. So this time I think I've done six, and then I

miss the first one and I'll slip stitch into the second chain, and then

I'll just single crochet down to the second last chain.

So into the last chain I'll work a half double crochet, and then I'm going to

slip stitch into the second chain, I miss one and then I'll slip stitch. I'll

probably make a slightly bigger blade of grass this time.

And I do the same I'll slip stitch into the second chain from the hook, and then

I just single crochet down to the last one and in the last one I'll half double

crochet and then join it to the chain.

And occasionally I just might do a couple of single crochet along my chain

to have a little spot to put a flower. So I might do one here I'll just do two

single crochet and that will give me a little space between my grass

blades and I can just attach a little flower there. Next I might do a longer

blade, I might do eight chain.

And then I miss one and slip stitch into the following stitch and then just

double crochet down. Into the last one I'll do a half double crochet.

You could make your blades of grass a bit thicker if you wanted by doing half

double crochet and then double crochet down.

I might just do a small blade of grass.

And you just work across until you've got your desired length. So I'll do that,

I'll continue on and then I'll be back to show you what it looks like. I think

it's almost long enough for the last one I will do a longer one

like I did for the beginning. So I'll do eight chain, miss the first and slip stitch

into the second chain, and then work single crochet down.

And into the last chain I'll work a half double crochet, and then I'll slip

stitch into the second chain. I'm not going to end it off because I'll just

check to make sure it's the right length. When I sew it, it may be too long or

it might be too short if it stretches when I sew it. I'll be sewing it on my

machine, I'll sew across the bottom first and then I'll sew up and down each

grass blade. I do make sure they're random grass-blades. I try not to have to

the same size next to each other. Now here's the finished towel. I stitched the

grass on first along the flat side and then back along the blades. I used my

sewing machine for the grass, the cats, the mice, and the birds except for their

beaks. I hand stitched the beach ball, the beaks of the birds, the whiskers of the

mice, and the flowers. I used a French knot for the centres of the flowers. If

you liked my video please like, subscribe, and share. Thank you for watching, bye.
