Corporate Polluters, Scammers, and Criminals See Big Trump Benefits - Duration: 3:26.
An environment watchdog group has released a startling statistic.
Since Donald Trump took office, fines for corporate polluters have fallen by more than
60%.
Instead of holding corporations accountable when they poison our air and our water and
even our people, they appear to be getting a free pass from the current administration.
Of course, this isn't much of a surprise considering how connected our government is to industry.
Joining me now to talk about this is Farron Cousins, he's the executive editor for the
Trial Lawyer magazine.
Farron, incredible.
What's happened in the last six months.
You talk about the corporate payoff.
Oh absolutely, and that's exactly what corporations wanted.
What's happened in the last six, seven months is that they're getting everything they've
ever wanted, which was a 60%, they'd prefer 100% reduction in these fines when they do
go out there and they dump things into our water or spew things into the atmosphere,
they are not being held accountable.
Now, don't get me wrong.
Enforcement was very lax under Obama and Bush and Clinton before him, but even with that
lax enforcement, things have essentially at this point just absolutely fallen off a cliff
and we're not getting those fines and punishments, essentially, that we need to have in this
country.
Isn't part of the problem ... I mean, corporate America is making so much money right now.
Making more than they've ever made in the history of this planet.
Literally.
That is not a statistic that's overstated.
So, with all that money, aren't they able to go to the agencies and they're able to
get the folks that are working for the agencies to come to work with them?
They say, "Joe, when you get done with what you're doing, come talk to us.
We have about a $400,000 paycheck for you."
That goes on every day.
It's like the American public actually believes that the EPA or FDA or the SEC is out protecting
them.
What is your take on that?
It's absolutely true.
We've seen this in full swing for the last 17 years, really, where either the people
running these regulatory agencies came from industry or once they leave there, they go
right into industry.
They're not there to hold people accountable.
They're not there to do their jobs.
They're making job connections.
They're trying to meet people that they know they can send a resume to once they leave
office instead of somebody that they can send a fine or a subpoena to while they're serving
this country.
They're not doing what they're supposed to be doing; they're worried about their own
career and longevity at that point.
Yeah, they actually call these positions "career-holding places."
Career holding places.
Really quickly, what are the important fines that we're seeing differences with?
Well, the big thing is that we need these fines.
This isn't just about we want to take your money.
We use those fines to clean up the water, to clean up the air, to clean up the environment,
to provide medical monitoring for people when they get poisoned.
That's what these fines are about and if we do not pull those in, we do not clean up the
mess that corporations have caused.
Taxpayers have to foot the bill.
What the corporation does is they put all their garbage in a river, for example, and
they say, "We made a big profit by not having to do this right.
Now let's let the taxpayers have to pay for this clean up and our stockholders are gonna
make a lot more money."
Yeah, that's exactly the process and that goes on every day in this country, and under
Trump, it's happening more and more.

plain box let's start looking at the neck pillow see it has an elastic strap
here on the back and it also has the zipper so if you want to clean the cover
you can unzip the pillow out and get it clean. The back support also has the
strap on the back in order to attach to the chair in an office or car which is
adjustable as well as the zipper if you want to clean it which is on the top
here so that you can squeeze the pillow out in case it gets dirty. These are made
with a hundred percent premium memory foam as you can see very soft and
comfortable very nice there's also no strange odor which you get with some
memory foam products. I don't really notice any smell at all with it and it
has just the right amount of firmness it's squishy but it's not too squishy
and it's not the memory foam where it's too stiff
where it doesn't have that nice support you can see just a little bit of
pressure and it comes back the memory foam and it's very very soft
the cover is velvety. This has a breathable cover on it very soft very
comfortable versatile to use in any chair office car wherever you need it
it's a great product and I'm think I'm going to get myself another one to use

BREAKING: Billionaire Clinton Donor Has Massive Announcement for Trump | Top Stories Today - Duration: 2:36.
President Donald Trump is still being criticized for his statements to the violence in Charlottesville,
Virginia two weeks ago, but an unlikely figure has come to his defense.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Univision chairman and billionaire Haim Saban
acknowledged that he and Trump differ on some issues, but had one statement that destroyed
the liberal narrative about the president.
"I disagree with the president with what appears to be a moral equivalence being drawn
between the Nazis, who are shouting, 'Kill the Jews,' and the protesters who came to
counter that statement," Saban said, referring to Trump's condemnation of white supremacists,
neo-Nazis, and the KKK.
Then he delivered the real message.
"I do not believe that President Trump is a Nazi or anti-Semite," he said.
After he defended Trump, the mega donor went even further by slamming Black Lives Matter
as "clearly an anti-Semitic, anti-Israel group."
Saban said the organization's official policy platform on its website refers to Israel as
"an apartheid state" who is responsible for "genocide."
While Saban is a massive Democratic donor, he criticized former President Barack Obama
in 2016 when he allowed a United Nations Security Council resolution to condemn an Israeli housing
project in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
Saban said he was "deeply disturbed" by Obama's actions against Israel, adding it
harmed "any long-term prospects for peace" in the region.
The Univision chairman's defense of Trump is significant, particularly given that he
donated roughly $10 million to Hillary Clinton through various Democratic fundraising groups
during the 2016 presidential election, and now he is defending the president.
Also, he's actually Jewish himself, unlike so many of the critics who accuse Trump of
being an anti-Semite.
Saban's rebuke of the leftist culture may also show Democrats are growing tired of the
anti-Trump media and their constant over-hyped outrage at everything the president does.
Saban may be a top donor to the Democrat Party and the Clinton machine, but his message defending
Trump is loud and clear.
Many are growing tired of the media's unfair treatment of Trump when they spent years helping
prop up Obama.
And thankfully, many are starting to call the media out for their double standards.

Now I have a question from Wendy.
She is from Ipoh. Her question goes like this. My investment property has been
vacant for 3 months. The rent now can only cover
1/3 of my monthly loan repayment. If I sell now, I might not find a buyer
or I would have to sell at loss. So what should I do? Okay
I must say this is a pretty common problem that investors, especially property investors,
face right now. Now the first question that I would like to
ask you Wendy is that do you have the ability to continue to pay loan
repayment to the bank. If your answer is no. Mr Yap I don't have the
ability to continue to pay. I may not be able to pay some more
because I don't have money to pay the loan repayment already. So if that is the case,
I would suggest you to sell the property fast and even though you have to sell it
at a loss. Why am I saying so? Because if you can't pay the loan, can't pay the bank
loan, the bank is a matter of time will come to reprocess your property and they
will sell it at the auction market. And when they sell at auction market, chances are
they may sell your property at even lower price than what you're getting (yourself) and
that will be very bad for your financial decision. Now if your
answer is yes. I have the ability to pay the loan. I can continue
to pay even until you know the whole loan finish. Then I have the second
question to ask you. My second question is that do you think this property has a
good potential to appreciate in the future. Are there strong factors that give
you the reason to believe that this property will grow fast, will grow eventually
to give you good gain in this particular area. If you think the
potential is no good, then I will suggest you to even sell now even you have to
sell it at loss. Because the idea is to sell the property now. If you have got
some money (left) then you can still take the money
to invest into something else that can give you better return, better potential.
Now if your answer is this is a good potential and then for that case,
I will suggest you may be to keep the property, hold it because you have the
holding ability. Now like any investment that we make, whether it is unit trust,
share, gold or property, the affordability or what I call it the holding power is
very important. When you have holding power, you can hold the property even
though you are not getting the rental. But if you don't have the holding power,
you have got no choice and you may end up have to sell the property at loss. So
I will suggest that everybody, before you make any investment (decision), especially
property, especially when loan is involved, make sure you have the holding power.
