Hey there!

What's going on guys?!

So, last week I created a video called 5 USEFUL MODS for Minecraft 1.12!

I mentioned in the video that I want to create more videos like that

one in the future, maybe like every week.

So I've decided for now, unless I come up with some other ideas, to alternate between

useful mods and just fun mods.

I've already created one 5 Fun Minecraft Mods for 1.12,

when this version first came out.

There wasn't many mods out at that point but today, I've compiled 5 more fun mods for you

to try out and maybe add to a modpack or something

like that!

Let's get started!

*Music*

The first fun mod I'm showing you today is the Bird Nests mod.

Bird Nests is a simple mod that adds a reward for chopping down trees.

It is very similar to things like chance cubes in the aspect that you get a random

reward each time you use one of them.

However, unlike chance cubes or lucky blocks, this one is a more realistic mod in that,

well, the things you will find inside of a nest

are some things you may expect to see from an actual nest... and obviously some other

random things.

You'll be able to get a nest from any type of generated leaf block.. vanilla

or modded and the mod allows you to configure the drop rate!

If you were wondering, some of the things you may find in a nest

are feathers, sticks, an egg, redston, a diamond, an emerald, some glowstone.. and many other

things.

I really like this mod because it adds in a perk to cutting down trees

and makes that aspect of Minecraft a bit more interesting.

And it's a bit more of a realistic take on things like lucky blocks or chance cubes in

that it makes you do something and it's sort of something that would happen

in real life if you were to cut down a tree.

The next mod I have for you today is Roguelike Dungeons.

Roguelike Dungeons generates large underground dungeon structures that have a structured

layout and, of course, plenty of loot.

Originally released in Minecraft version 1.6.4, the creator of this mod, Greymerk, was inspired

to create this mod by the super-hostile maps and roguelike dungeon

crawlers.

The mod adds a number of different types of towers including a jungle tower, and a mountain

tower and a number of different rooms including a blacksmith, the mossy

level, and more.

The multi-tier dungeons add another aspect of MInecraft to explore and a new place to

get some loot from.

Personally, when I'm playing with modpacks, these

are the types of mods I love to add in.

To be able to go and explore a huge dungeon is exciting.

It's just a fun challenge to attempt and that's really what modpacks are all

about, for me at least.

In this video you see the desert tower and of course, I go down to the dungeon.

You see that there are many stronger mobs like zombies and skeletons.

It goes down in tiers with different levels.

The mobs drop some decent loot to go along with the generated loot in the chests.

You see that my main focus to start is to destroy the spawners to help you my exploration.

Next up, we have the Waddles Mod.

Now, this isn't necessarily a fun mod but more-so just a cute and radom mod.

But to me, it's fun, so you're just going to have to live with it

because I love penguins and I really wanted to show it.

Anyways, yeah...

The Waddles mod adds in some penguins that waddle around Minecraft.

Specifically, they add the Adelie penguins.

I probably pronounced that wrong but that's alright.

The mod has realistic sounds and overall just provides a great atmosphere to icy biomes

in Minecraft.

You may find penguins in the Ice Plains, Cold Beach,

Frozen Ocean, Frozen River biomes.. and more!

Polar bears were added into Minecraft and give a mob to the icy type biomes that was

definitely needed.

Now that we have parrots..

I think we need penguins too.

This mod gives me those penguins and for me..

That's fun!

Plus the penguin models are very adorable.

Especially the babies.

Pandora's Box has been around for a long time.

It's been around since at least 2014, with a 1.7.2 mod release back then.

That was the earliest I could find the mod in my quick

research of it.

It may have been out prior to then but on PopularMMO's website that's what I saw.

The earliest download on Curse has it for 1.7.10 from July of 2014.

Anyways, the point I'm getting to is that people have been using this mod for a long

time, and well, they've been having fun with it for a long time.

Whether you already know about this mod or not, I still recommend checking

this mod out.

The simple-crafting Pandora's box can be incredibly interesting and, well, destructive.

The endless amounts of generated outcomes from the Pandora's Box

will leave you curious as to what's to come.

The suspense is of what this mod will generate is all the fun of it.

You just better hope that whatever it generates doesn't kill you.

And maybe you'll get like a rainbow and lollipop generation.

That shouldn't kill you but it definitely messes up terrain.

I need to end off talking about this mod by mentioning

that I personally have really enjoyed using this mod for a long time.

In fact, back in 2015, I created a video similar to this one

for 1.8.

Well, guess what was featured in that video.

You guessed it.

Pandora's Box.

That wasn't really a tricky question.

But yeah, that just goes to show how long this mod

has been around and how fun it can be.

We're gonna end off with some Stupid Things.

That's actually the name of the mod.

Stupid Things adds a ton of different items into Minecraft.

There is an item catalog that you can craft that will show all the current items

in Stupid Things.

It can be crafted by combining a book and a block of dirt.

So a very easy crafting recipe.

Some of the Stupid Things you'll find in this mod

are a block bomb launcher which launches block bombs that spawn clusters of blocks, reverse

TNT which pulls in nearby blocks and entities, explosive rails which explode when

a minecart passed over it while it is powered, smoke bombs, balloons, water balloons, lava

balloons, and deflated balloons, a pet rock, a mine turtle, upside down goggles,

a firing can, the world's smallest violin... and that's just to name some of them.

Yeah, there's a lot of Stupid Things in the Stupid Things mod but these Stupid Things

are really fun to use in your modded Minecraft

world... and well, some of them may not even be that stupid to be honest.

Like the improved hoes are actually quite useful.. which

really contradicts it being a stupid thing.

But yeah this is the Stupid Things mod and it adds SOME stupid things.

Like those upside down goggles... those just give me a

headache.

What the heck.

I mean seriously, why would you even want to use those upside down goggles?

They just give me a massive headache.

I could just go on and on about why these goggles just give me a headache but

I'm not going to do that.

They're just another stupid thing in the stupid things mod.. but that's what makes this mod

fun.

Also, how many times have I said stupid things in this

Somebody should could that.

But their public drama pales in comparison to the dark secrets they've tried to keep

From Kim's love life, to Kylie's lips, to Khloé's baby fever, here are the dark secrets

this family tried to hide.

Feeling the weight

Rob Kardashian has had it tough.

Days before his older sister, Kim, married Kanye West, Rob went off the rails tweeting

about his weight.

In since-deleted posts, he wrote, "So I found out I was trending for being fat.

Thank you all, it really made my day."

It all came to a head after he was diagnosed with diabetes in 2015 and was hospitalized

for it in December 2016.

TMZ reported Rob checked himself into the hospital because his condition flared up thanks

to weight gain during his stressful relationship to Blac Chyna.

It was a shocker, since just months earlier, he told People that Chyna helped rid him of

the disease, saying, "She told me that by having her cook for me, my diabetes would

be gone.

And it is."

Faking it

Was Khloé's seven-year marriage to Lamar Odom a total sham?

No, but she did fake wanting to have kids with the former NBA star.

During an episode of Kocktails with Khloé, she shared they were once planning to have

a family, saying, "Lamar and I wanted to conceive, we wanted to adopt, but also to foster kids."

But in a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloé admitted to faking

trying to get pregnant with Lamar, revealing to a fertility doctor:

"I was married, but I knew the circumstances weren't the healthiest.

So, I just kept pretending I was doing it."

Lamar told Wendy Williams in 2017:

"That hurt a little bit."

"I wish she could have told me.

She didn't have to say it on TV to the whole world."

But Lamar wasn't exactly innocent himself.

Love, lies, and marriage

Khloé did all she could to convince everyone that her marriage to Lamar was working, revealing

to her family, "I kept in hiding every time there was something going on.

I would have to lie, or conceal, or cover up, and I'm so over it!"

A year after their divorce was finalized, Lamar told Us Weekly in 2017,

"I wish I could have kept my d*ck in my pants.

If there is one thing I regret… multiple affairs with different women."

"That wasn't the stand-up thing to do.

She didn't deserve that."

Lamar, who overdosed and nearly died in 2015, said he got an apartment in Los Angeles just

so he could get high freely, out of sight from his wife, admitting, "I wasn't trying

to repair my marriage; I was just trying to get high."

Transformations

In Caitlyn's memoir, The Secrets of My Life, she alleges that Kris 100 percent knew of

her gender identity crisis when they met, adding that Kris was fully aware she was on

hormones for years before meeting, writing, "I told her there had been a woman inside

me all my life."

Kris disagrees.

In an episode of Keeping Up the Kardashians, Kris said the book was filled with lies.

"Everything she says is all made up."

"And then, all through the book, 'Kris knew.

Kris knew before I even made love to her.'

I'm like, what?'"

Kim believes Kris and Caitlyn will probably never reconcile, telling Andy Cohen where

the chance of the former lovers ever talking again, ranks, for her:

"I would say two percent.

And those are Kendall and Kylie."

Lips don't lie

Kylie Jenner regrets not coming clean about her lip injections at age 16.

Talking with Complex, the teen star remembers giving countless interviews in which she lied

about getting her lips enhanced.

Kylie says she developed an insecurity about the size of her lips after a guy kissed her

in middle school and complained that her lips were too thin.

She said, "From then on, I just felt like I saw guys staring at my lips.

I felt like no one wanted to kiss me."

Kylie said she thought the best course of action was to lie, but later admitted,

"These kids, my fans [...] I didn't want to be a bad influence.

I didn't want [them] to think you had to get your lips done to feel good about your face."

"I wish I had just been honest up-front."

Under pressure

The fashion industry has fallen in love with Kendall Jenner.

But as the model described on Keeping Up with the Kardashians in late 2016, she suffers

from both panic attacks and sleep paralysis.

Things became so intense that Kris recruited a therapist to coach Kendall.

Kris also flew from Los Angeles to London just so Kendall would feel comfortable on

a plane.

Writing in an end-of-year blog post via Teen Vogue, Kendall described her use of breath

work to manage the episodes, saying, "Anxiety was a huge hurdle for me to deal with this

past year, but I think I'm finally learning how to cope."

Keeping up appearances

Watching Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, no one would suspect Kim's marriage

to NBA star Kris Humphries was already falling apart.

But behind closed doors, Kim had a feeling it wouldn't last long.

She later told Andy Cohen,

"I just thought, 'Holy s---, I'm 30 years old…

I better get this together...

I better get married."

"It was more of that situation."

In all, the couple were married for 72 days.

Kim's divorce filing not only shocked the world, but it shocked Humphries, who claims

he was blindsided.

He told TMZ,

"I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents.

I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce…

I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."

Unfortunately, their marriage ended in a long, bitter divorce, which was finally settled

in 2013, after Kim's infamous cry-face.

On the rocks

Scott Disick first began showing signs of extreme abuse and misbehavior in 2010.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians cameras showed him seriously intoxicated and shoving a $100

TMZ reported the rapper ultimately became unstable after screwing up the dosage of his

medication, adding that "Kanye has long suffered from psychological issues" which are controlled

by medication.

After taking fans on a virtual tour of the factory where her Good American denim is manufactured,

Khloe found out some fans didn't exactly like what they saw, claiming she was running a

"sweat shop."

The footage showed workers creating jeans by hand in a warehouse with unfinished floors.

In one video she's even heard warning the workers:

"Don't f--k it up!

All the pressure's on you!"

Khloe fired back, tweeting, "Watch your mouth.

All make salaries and all are employed in [Los Angeles]!

5 Missed Opportunities in Fallout 4 - Duration: 5:14.

Fallout 4 is not a bad game by any means, but it wasn't the followup to Fallout 3

many fans were hoping for.

And there were more than a few parts of the game where Bethesda sort of dropped the ball.

So, here are 5 missed opportunities in Fallout 4.

Number 5.

Shaun.

Fallout is supposed to be an RPG where the player makes the choices.

Your actions impact you and the world around you.

After killing Kellogg and reliving his memories, you discover that Shaun is in the Institute,

and it's a daunting task trying to get in.

Once you do, you take an elevator ride into the heart of the Institute.

You see a child, seemingly locked away.

You assume that it's Shaun.

The game purposely doesn't tell you how long it was between when Shaun was taken and

when you wake up, so you assume that the child is Shaun.

And the NPC is also named Shaun.

As you talk to the child, the Institute leader arrives, calling himself Father.

Imagine if you had the option to kill Father, take Shaun, and escape to the surface, only

to discover that you actually killed your son and took a synth copy of him.

It'd have been a hell of a twist.

Number 4.

The Hi Honey holotape.

When you leave for Vault 111, you leave Codsworth behind to die in the nuclear holocaust.

Upon leaving the vault and returning to your neighborhood, you discover he survived.

Soon after finding him alive, he gives you a holotype that your spouse made.

This is done after you watch your spouse die, spoilers, and is likely to try and make the

player feel emotionally involved in the game, since you only had a few minutes to spend

with your husband or wife before the world ends.

The message itself is mostly the same regardless of whether you play as a male or female character,

and is just your spouse telling you how much they loved you and how great you are.

The missed opportunity is that you can't tell Shaun about the tape in any way.

You can't say "By the way, Dad recorded this message before the world fucked itself,

want to listen to it?"

Nope.

It would have been an easy way to make you feel more connected to Shaun, which could

have helped make the decision of who to side with all the more difficult.

Number 3.

The Gunners.

So, you've got the Minutemen, right?

The good old boys that fight for the rights of every man, brother (clip of Hulk Hogan).

You side with them and help out the various settlements across the Commonwealth.

Sure, sounds great.

Being the good guy can be fun.

But what about being the bad guy?

What if you got to be the guy raiding the settlement for supplies?

What if you rose within the ranks of the Gunners and became the best mercenary they had to

offer?

You can find out that after the Minutemen's slaughter in Quincy, some of them defected

to the Gunners.

It would be perfect.

There are even Gunners located not far from Diamond City.

Imagine leading a charge against the city and taking it over.

Fuck, i'm getting depressed just thinking about it.

Number 2.

The Combat Zone.

Throughout Fallout 4, you'll hear NPCs and even companions talk about how dangerous the

Combat Zone is.

Upon hearing about it, you'll likely expect that it's an arena, which it is.

You'll also probably expect to be able to get into fights for caps and such, similar

to the arena found at The Fort in Fallout New Vegas.

Maybe they'll be quests to recruit the best fighters across the Commonwealth.

Maybe you can bet on fights to make some caps, like the casino's in New Vegas.

Nope.

As soon as the raiders inside find you, they try to kill you.

You kill them, talk to a ghoul in a suit, and have the option of taking Cait, who was

fighting in the cage, as a companion.

That's it.

It's just another location.

It's similar to East City Downs, which you might be more familiar with if I call it the

robot racetrack.

There's a race track in Fallout 4 where robots race?

Sweet, maybe you can bet on them.

Again, that's a big fat no.

You can turn the robots against the Triggermen that are in the area, shut them down, or make

them blow up.

That's it.

Number 1.

The Memory Den.

This should have been obvious.

Before you find out where your son is, you kill Kellogg and take part of his brain to

the Memory Den, a quaint little business located in Goodneighbor.

You sit in a lounger and relive one of your memories.

It goes well, so you relive Kellogg's memories.

The process is sort of like the virtual reality in Vault 112.

After the two quests are over, you can't relive any more memories.

You can sit in the chairs, but nothing happens aside from the words "Stand By" appearing

on the screen.

This is perhaps Bethesda's biggest blunder of Fallout 4.

It's almost stupid how much sense it would have been to have made this a hub for accessing

DLCs.

Why not be able to encounter another Institute employee, take part of his brain, and experience

the Commonwealth as the Institute gained power after Shaun was taken?

How about finding a Vault that had detailed records or something that let you relive one

of the wars that sparked the Great War?

What if you somehow come across a brain chip from Russia, or China, or Great Britain that

let you see what post-war life was like in another country?

The possibilities could have been endless.

But instead of that, we got fancy lights, cages for Deathclaws, and a build-your-own

robot kit.

I hate to say it, but Bethesda, you fucked up big time here.

getting a drink of water, letting the dog out and going to the bathroom at exactly the

same time, at 3:30 in the morning and then getting into a fight. I doubt very seriously

that was a coincidence. So tonight I'm going to act like I go to bed and I'm going to stay

up and sit in the dark. And wait for them to get up and start doing their horsing around.

So I got three acres to take care of, I've got five, but three we take care of. I just

can't do the outside and the inside. Trying to get ready for school starting. And I didn't

mean for this to be a whine session, but it's real life. I honestly cannot tell you the

last time I showered. I don't remember. I had some kink of appointment, so it was probably

either the day we went to the children's hospital or

the day before. And I just need an advocate, somebody that speaks up for me, but I don't

know how you find that person. You know, it's not like you can hire somebody to love you

or take your side. I need, I would rather have somebody that (sorry you are getting

a whole bunch of steering wheel shots) I'd rather have someone that did it out of love

and out of for pay or anything like that. Not for what they can get out of it, but for

sheer love the family. Need to go grocery shopping, need to clean the house, need to

do laundry, need to mow the lawn. The guy I had helping with that quit because he got

a factory job, that paid better, so I can understand that. If I keep tearing up the

lawn mowers, I can't have the boys do it. Because they don't have anything to mow with.

7.1. It Wasn't Always Like This - Duration: 4:59.

We humans have always been curious, always motivated to get to the bottom of things,

always searching for ultimate truth and meaning.

And ever since we formed ourselves into civilizations…we've been arguing over those things.

It's hard to claim that our ideological struggles are worse today than they've ever been,

given the religious wars that tore apart Renaissance Europe.

But I don't think there's any doubt that our struggles over truth, knowledge, and beliefs

have been getting more heated and divisive.

I don't think there's any doubt that what could be a collaborative quest for truth and understanding

has devolved into a bunch of bitter, disciplinary battles among our sciences,

our philosophies, our political ideologies, and our religious and spiritual traditions.

And I don't think there's any doubt that here in the United States, these struggles are tearing our country apart,

fueling an environment of fear and distrust, and putting our democracy under tremendous strain.

We're going to have to figure out how to deal with our ideological differences—and

cramming our beliefs down other people's throats isn't the answer.

All that will do is breed more resentment and resistance.

Democracy isn't supposed to be a dictatorship of the 51 percent.

It's not supposed to be about eeking out a narrow majority, and then using the tools of the state

to force everybody to do it your way—even though that's increasingly how it's being practiced.

Democracy is supposed to be a peaceful, productive, inclusive, collaborative, respectful, and

ethical process of exchanging ideas and building consensus.

In a previous video, I made the point that our belief systems didn't used to be so fragmented.

I pointed out how ancient thinkers like Aristotle, Confucius, and Thomas Aquinas flowed freely

between science, philosophy, politics, and religion in their works.

I argued that it was during the Industrial Revolution that we stopped seeing human inquiry as one unified project.

Not just because that was when our modern sciences and political ideologies first started to be formulated.

But also because, just like with physical labor, we started carving up our mental work into specialized fields.

Nowadays, there are very few generalists—and a whole bunch of specialists,

each an expert in their own narrow field of inquiry.

These experts have made some incredible advances, over the past 150 years.

But it's come at a great cost.

Because we can't get on the same page.

Religion and science are at each other's throats.

Religions don't like other religions, and natural scientists look down on social scientists.

Political liberalism and conservatism are as far apart as they've ever been.

And so on.

We have these supposedly "irreconcilable differences" that are used to justify all-out

ideological warfare, instead of constructive knowledge and idea-building.

We have to do some big-time work in this area.

We have to defuse and reconcile these ideological differences that are strangling our country.

We have to reclaim the project of human inquiry from those who've turned it into a bunch of ideological crusades.

And we'll start, in the next video, by going right after those most stubborn and supposedly "irreconcilable" differences.

I caught up with Wil while he was back in L.A.

We headed over to our favorite garage to work on his bike.

With a few minutes to kill we kept ourselves entertained

while waiting for a work stall.

- When did you start riding?

- I can remember my very first motorcycle ride.

A kid in my neighborhood had a 50cc

that he got for Christmas or something.

I instantly wrecked it and then I didn't get on a bike again

until I was in the army.

And then of course when I became a PJ,

riding motorcycles, jet skis,

anything that facilitates getting to an asset

in order to recover that asset --

- You want me to do this side now?

I will say this brother.

The way you live your life,

I feel that you ride the same way.

- Fast and loose?

- Fast and loose.

- (laughs) Fast and loose.

You know I don't do anything illegal,

it's not out of control.

But I definitely am more aggressive

than a lot of other riders.

I ride every day.

- When you ride, what do you get out of it?

- It's meditation.

I can't talk to anybody else when I'm on the bike

even if I have a passenger.

And I think being left alone with your thoughts

can be scary sometimes.

Especially when you're talking about

a transitional period.

And I've gone through it a bunch of times man,

everybody's had rough times.

For me getting back on the bike was

a way of slowing everything down in my mind.

How much more of the world do you see from your motorcycle?

I do believe that there is something spiritual

that I get out of riding.

And that's what's nice about riding man,

is you can adapt these bikes to be

whatever you want them to be.

They can be an extension of your personality

and that's really what it is.

That's what any vehicle is.

And I'm gonna enjoy it.

Despite the belief by Democrats and many in the media that Hillary Clinton would win the

election, Democrats were busy doing everything they could to ensure a win.

the election, turning an investigation into a "matter," and more.

Now it's been revealed by CNN that the FBI spent election day browsing social media to

shut down "fake news" on Clinton in what's been described as an act "right on the edge

of Constitutional legality."

Fake news has been a hot topic since the presidential campaign last year.

President Trump has been, and remains, highly critical of the news media for reporting what

he considers fake news.

Lately, he's been very critical of news outlets who are attacking his son, Donald

Trump, Jr., for meeting with a Russian lawyer in the hope of getting dirt on Clinton, and

their biased coverage of the Russia collusion investigation according to Fox News.

In a tweet last month he criticized the double standard of the media, "Hillary Clinton

can illegally get the questions to the Debate & delete 33,000 emails but my son Don is being

scorned by the Fake News Media?"

Hillary Clinton has also been critical, not of mainstream media, but of supposed fake

news stories compiled by Russia and "guided" by Trump, according to Daily Mail.

She even goes so far as to ridiculously claim that it wasn't her or her campaign, but

fake news that cost her the election.

"I take responsibility for every decision I made, but that is not why I lost," going

on to say that "low information voters" saw these stories and, "Some people were

sucked in.

Some people stayed home.

Some people voted Trump."

It seems Clinton wasn't alone in her concern that fake news would cost her the election.

It appears President Obama and the White House were similarly concerned.

So they charged the FBI to monitor social media feeds on election day, with the hope

of catching fake news, and report the findings back to the White House.

The men and women normally charged with protecting our country from national security threats

found themselves huddled in front of monitors at a command center looking for fake news

on Clinton.

Every three hours, members of the FBI, Homeland Security, and the Office of the Director of

National Intelligence would host a conference call with the White House over any problems

found.

One source familiar with the event was worried about the potential freedom of speech violations

to the First Amendment.

"We were right on the edge of Constitutional legality.

We were monitoring news."

After election day was over, it was determined there were a few minor issues, but nothing

that affected the vote.

Yet a White House official felt the handling of the Russian fake news and hacking operation

was a "failure of imagination."

An official that was part of the social media monitoring was baffled, "Are you kidding?

What they [US Government] did worked!"

Not only was it a gross misuse of our national security to monitor social media for fake

news to the benefit of a Democrat candidate, but it revealed that fake news had no bearing

on the election.

In a twist of irony, it would seem that Clinton and the Democrats blaming fake news for losing

the election is, itself, fake news.

The use of the FBI by the Obama administration to vet the social media for fake news is tantamount

to an abuse of power.
