My Word for 2018 | 2018 Goals | Filmed in 4K - Duration: 8:48.Hey guys! Shawn here. Welcome to PrayerLights. If you are new, this channel is
all about Mommy lifestyle videos to help you raise a Jesus loving child. In
today's video I will be talking about my 2018
word for the year. If you also picked out a word for the year, I would love to
hear it. Put it in the comments down below. If you're interested to
hear what my word is and how it will reflect throughout my 2018, keep watching. Hey
guys, so I am also trying out the new 4k camera on my iPhone 8 so if the sound is
a little bit off that is why. I haven't quite figured it out but I think the
picture quality will be pretty good. It will be pretty intense so if you see a
lot of wrinkles and dark circles under my eyes it's because I have an infant and I'm
not getting that much sleep. 2018 my word
is going to be... drumroll... okay that's silly my word... is going to be "abundance."
By "abundance," I mean abundance in time that I spend
with my family. Abundance in money, as in I would like to continue to pay off our
debt and therefore I need to make more money
in order to pay off debt so that our family has what we need. And an abundance
in health. This past year I spent a lot of 2017 being pregnant and
being sick and having a child and being sleep deprived. So I want to focus on
an abundance of good health if that makes any sense at all. I've chosen a
scripture verse and I'm going to read that. It is from the book of Jude, chapter 1
verse 2. This is just a greeting. Jude is starting off with a salutation, a
greeting to the community. He says, "may mercy, peace, and love be yours in
abundance." That is what I want. Mercy, peace, and love in abundance for my
family and for myself. In looking back over 2017, Oh! warning guys! This is going to
be a little chatty video. It'll be short but it'll be a little chatty. In
looking back over my 2017 word, and I will post the link
to that video in the description box down below, my word was "nurture." I
spent a lot of time nurturing my family. I had a baby, got pregnant, had a baby. I
spent a lot of time nurturing my job. I got extra training for my job and spent
a lot of time nurturing that relationship. I spent a lot of
time growing a new friendship. I have a Lutheran pastor friend who I absolutely
love and so I spent a lot of time with her. Working on growing my relationships
as an introvert, I tend to have trouble with relationships. I've always had that
one friend that I tend to spend a lot of time with my best friend and
for years and years that person has been Ricky. Not saying that he's not still
my best friend! Husband dearest, if you're watching this you are still my best
friend. I want to work on having more close-knit relationships so I spent a lot
of time focusing on one relationship in particular and I hope I've done a good
job with that. Rebecca, let me know! I probably still need to work on that but
it's just it always a growing opportunity for me. But nurturing. 2017
was all about that. I spent a lot of time... what else did i nurture in 2017? I
nurtured myself. I spent a lot of time just focusing on my body's needs. Being
pregnant those of you who have been pregnant you know how that is. You have
to really focus on taking care of yourself and I got sick quite a bit in
a two-month period in my first trimester. Seemed to pick up every single bug there
was. I work with children so that's natural and at that point I had a
nine year old and he was bringing germs home from school. Again, as a mom, you all
know we pick up all the bugs that our kids have. So this year I am going to
spend that time on abundance and so... oh if you hear baby girl she's in her crib
behind me. Hopefully she'll last through this video.
But, looking at abundance... I've just spent a lot of time, I want to really work on
my youtube channel and more content for you all that is
valuable, that would be helpful. If you have any suggestions of what you would
like to see from this channel I would love to hear that in the comments down
below. Anything that would be
good for mommy videos. That would help you or Christian mommy videos as in
what would be helpful in helping you raise your children to love Jesus and
show Jesus to the world ? This channel isn't so much about and I'm
going to have a new channel trailer upcoming as well. If that is already up I
will post that in the links down below in the description box down below but if
it's not up it's coming. My channel has kind of evolved over the
past year but I want to do content that helps you at home to bring Jesus' love
to your children and help you raise Jesus loving children.
I believe that Jesus's love should be shared to everyone and I want my
children to share the love with everyone and not be judgmental and not be yeah
just to be kind as Jesus was kind. But anyways I'll get more into that in my
channel trailer. Alright you guys, so that didn't last very long in her crib. She's
down here. I'm not sure if you can see her or not. She's going to be sitting in
my lap. 2017 was amazing! I saw so much growth
over my maternity leave. I went from about 150 subscribers to
over 400 and that is just amazing to me. I can't thank you all enough for
your support and encouragement of my channel. I know it's been taking me a
little while to figure out what this channel is all about but I think I've
got it nailed down pretty much for now. I am really looking forward to more
growth in 2018. One of my videos just went crazy and got over 75,000 views
which I can't even imagine! I mean, my channel is at around 470 subscribers
right now and that's more than the number of people who attend my church on
a Sunday morning. I can't even imagine standing up in front of you all
and speaking to you all. That's a lot of people. For that one video... I can't
imagine describing three games, three Christmas games to 77,000 people!
Standing up in front of and telling you all three Christmas games. That's
pretty crazy. I have really enjoyed this channel. It started out as a hobby and has
grown to be so much more than that for myself and hopefully for you all. Its
branched out into a website and an online shop. My husband and I are
collaborating on things. If you didn't know, he is a cartoonist as well as being
a pastor and so we're just having a lot of fun with it, with the channel. I look
forward to 2018. Thanks so much for watching today's video on my 2018 word
which is my focus for the whole year. If you also have a word, I would love to
hear it and I'm sure the rest of the community would as well so leave that in
the comments down below. I post new content every week, Tuesdays are my
Christian parenting content and Wednesdays are my mommy videos. I
will see you in the next video. Thanks for watching! I wanted to come back on
really quick and share my cell phone cover with you all. One of the
greatest ways you can motivate yourself for 2018 is putting on a new cell phone
cover. Seriously! Whatever you put on your cell phone cover you see it constantly
so it needs to be something motivating. For me, "girl boss" means taking
control of my 2018, putting out more content on my youtube video, and coming
up and collaborating with awesome new faith products that we can provide... that
husband and I can provide for free to you all as well as paid. Because you know
we got to support our family somehow. She is holding a chai tea
latte cup not a coffee cup because I am a chai tea addict. This case is
from Casetify. I will post in the description box where I bought it but no
not sponsored. I don't have any sponsored videos you guys! Just put on a motivating
case. It could be any case on your phone. Serious serious motivation.
yeah alright bye you guys!

Why Not To Buy a Turbocharged Car - Duration: 3:23.One, two, three, four!
Rev up your engines!
It's time for the Scotty Kilmer Channel, Today I'm going to help you answer the question,
should you buy a turbocharged car, now many modern cars like this Ford Focus
Titanium Flex Fuel, do have turbochargers in them,
and they do it for one main reason, this one is turbocharged and has gasoline
direct fuel injection, now this is done for one main reason,
you get a smaller engine, and a turbocharger gives it a lot more power,
so you can have a small engine, but still have a lot of power,
and get good gas mileage at the same time, and here is how it works,
the turbocharger is connected to the exhaust system,
it spins really fast and it compresses air and sends extra air into the engine,
and by pumping all that extra air in, effectively, it increases the compression
inside the engine, like making the engine a higher compression engine with more power,
but turbos do have their downsides, for one, theoretically you will get better
gas mileage because your ramming more air in but,
most people that are driving with turbos are always stepping on the gas really hard to
go fast, and that negates it and you actually get worse
gas mileage from driving faster all the time, and that's certainly the case with me, every
time I drive a turbo, they get horrible gas mileage because I'm always driving like a
manic, and if you're the type of person that doesn't
change your oil very often, the turbos will wear out, the engine oil lubricates
the turbos too, and they spin at hundreds of thousands of
RPMs, dirty oil destroys them quickly,
and all that extra pressure inside the engine, yes they will wear out somewhat faster than
a normally aspirated car, that doesn't have a turbocharger on it,
now modern turbos are pretty sophisticated though,
I remember years ago when I was a kid, a friend had a Kawasaki motorcycle that had
a turbocharger on it, and it scarred the heck out of me,
because back in those days, they had really bad turbo lag,
you would give it a lot of gas, nothing would happen, and then a second or two later, it
would take off like mad and that Kawasaki scarred me so much I got off it and never
got back on it, now modern cars don't suffer from turbo lag,
they're all electronically fuel injected, the computers are so sophisticated there is
seamless acceleration, you don't have any problems with turbo lag,
but do realize that many turbos need to run on premium gas for them to run correctly,
some of the modern ones don't, but if you don't use high test in them, they won't have
the horsepower that they will if you use premium gas,
so when you take all of this into consideration, and realize that turbochargers cost a lot
of money, and they do eventually wear out, when I want good gas mileage I go for a 4
cylinder engine that is set up for good gas mileage that doesn't have a turbocharger,
and if I want power, I go for a car that has a bigger engine that isn't turbocharged,
now ultimately it's your money, but if your cheap like me,
you might think about not buying a turbo car, especially if you keep your cars a long time
and put a lot of mileage on them, so if you never want to miss another one of
my new car repair videos, remember to ring that bell!

That's not it I know you're going to die soon then I will not get attached. Oops.
I do not even know what he asked.
he knows what I did (I do not)
I do not know.
Using the right side control I can look at the sides. I can look in the rearview mirror and look
for the face of the guard.
Yes.
There are a lot of police walking to the other side, the bug is catching.
I've been going to jail for six months, I think that was a fight, that's it.
I do not think I'll even respond. The guy will die soon and be curious ..
And he keeps asking. She's going to fuck herself.
Look, there's a helicopter coming and everything is going to the other side.
This guy here, this one, has to be smart.
He is talking about a guy who got kicked the bank the macho and then
She was crying for Mom.
Lost by Mom.
What did he do?
He killed the woman looks lonely, bloody and all more.

Look the key is there
The guy does not respond.
So come on, get the key and open it.
The key has fallen.
See if you do it right now, see.
That boy, now.
That's right now
Just look at the guard.
Now I have to get out of here.
Now hein
You have to get the ammunition.
It is a messy face saw.
Throw fire
Oh boy, did he have no head.
OMG
I will have to tell it was a blow for me too
I have someone there.
The Flesh Is rotten and smelling like crap.
There is someone looking there.
He left.
The best I know life.
What do we do.
There are people coming here.
I better send it to me
You are hurt more.
I have to run away from here.
How many zombies here.
Better get out of here,

What? That zombie bunch chasing after.
You're crazy. The zombies are all on the prowl.
The Zombies must have heard the shots.
They're leaving,
My luck
If not already seen it is not.
I want to search Who was there
There was someone looking at me.
And then I can take a look
In the house and all.
There is no one home.
You can enter.
And so is it, let's see, your, let's what that has.
The house is all dark, in the greatest depression.
I'll take a look at the book to see if there is any good recipe.
Not of interest.
Is there anything here to eat, let's see.
It's fake.
Let's see something playing here.
Let me go there.
Pick up the messages.
The woman is traveling,
and asked to be caring
It's a babysitting message.
They are late and could not return.
And the zombie apocalypse began.
And she asked them to leave the city.
To leave the child safely.
And then she called a third time.
And now she's asking for a girl to call to the Police because the bug caught.
They are already in Bad anyway.

VIENNA/NOW Portrait: Egon Schiele - Duration: 2:45.Egon Schiele means different things to different people. For some, when they first
see his work, they get this intense feeling of melancholy and sadness
When I first encountered his work I was really struck by the amazing use of color
And some people, when they see it, feel an overwhelming sense of sexuality
Whatever it is, he means something to most people who come by him
Here at the Leopold Museum, you get to explore all the different facets of his personality and
Look at the different phases of his work and then hopefully you can find out
What he means to you
Egon Schiele was a prolific painter. Even though he died at only 28 years of age
He left behind masterpieces of expressionist art and an everlasting
mark on the modern art world
He was always looking for intensity, turning the inside out, questioning and
pushing the limits of conventional ideals of beauty, trying to get a glimpse
of the abyss. Once Schiele's depiction of raw sexuality even put him in jail
The judge burning his drawings
In his early years Egon Schiele was strongly influenced by Gustav Klimt, who
became a mentor to him. He then soon evolved his own distinctive style
Experimenting with nudes and figural distortions
Expressive gestures became a trademark
In 1911 he met and started an affair with 17-year old Wally Neuzil, who
served as a model for some of his most striking paintings
Later Schiele chose to marry the more socially acceptable Edith Harms
Leaving Wally bitterly disappointed
He never saw her again
It was in 1918 when Egon Schiele finally found success and recognition
His last exhibition at the Vienna Secession was critically acclaimed
Prices for his works increased and he received many portrait commissions
Tragically he died the same year of the Spanish flu
Only three days after his pregnant wife Edith

Quick and Simple Valentine - Duration: 3:49.Hey everybody! In today's video I have a very quick and simple and graphic
Valentine card for you and it's something that I just love - it's exactly
my style. This is the Concord &9th Love You So
bundle, which is a beautiful graphic set with a bunch of different combinations
that you can do, all of them very modern and bold which I like. I'm not into
schmoopy so modern and bold is my preference. I'm using a very
well-loved and somewhat dry Melon Mambo ink pad I'm not gonna lie
I should have reinked it before this video but with the MIST it doesn't matter
because I can just keep stamping it until it looks normal so really I'm
saving ink! I'm being very frugal - that's what I'm doing. That's my story and I'm
sticking to it! Now there's a fun halftone pattern that
goes over the square which I love. That's one of my favorite patterns and so I'm
stamping that in black because I think pink and black is adorable and it
matches my MISTI, so why not? There are other little dies in the set
that I'm going to use with my mini die-cutting machine from Altenew. I
love this machine because it fits in my videos. I'm going to cut out the heart
out of Melon Mambo also and then the arrow out of black but I also need a
black heart because the heart isn't really standing out against that pink
square. But what's great about this die
is if I use the little outline piece that comes with it - this is something
Concord & 9th does a lot which I like - then I have a frame for my heart,
and now it really pops against the square.
So now I'm going to attempt to do something really poorly thought-out and stupid
here but I'm leaving it in the video because y'all say you like it when I
leave my mistakes in. I'm cutting with an exacto a little slot so that I can weave
the arrow through the heart which just seems like a good idea right? I mean you
might have tried that. It wasn't - it was a terrible idea!
It looks like botched heart surgery by the time I'm finished. It makes this cute
little heart look mangled and stupid. Look - it's awful! So I'm ditching that
idea. I need to cut myself another arrow and cut myself another pink heart
because of the mangled heart that I now have, so after I do that I'm going to glue
down the black frame where I want it at the edge of this square - kind of centered -
and then I can cut myself another little pink heart that isn't botched and stick
that in there. Now for the arrow I've come to my senses and I'm just going to
snip a tiny piece out and make it look like it's going through the heart
without it making look like the heart was attacked by a vicious animal. So
there's that and then I'm gonna take my Neat &Tangled Like Magic sequins and I
just kind of fling them on my card because sometimes that gives me an idea
of where to put them. As you know, overthinking sequin placement is a
disease affecting many crafters, so I try not to do that by just flinging them all
out there (and usually some on the floor.) But I love these sequins - they're my
favorite! See me overthinking??? I'm overthinking - I'm doing it. So head over
to my blog for a big giveaway and a list of some of my favorite things from 2017
and thanks so much for watching!

Why is fluoride added to water? - Duration: 1:32.Smart Learning for All
Why is fluoride added to water?
To make water taste like soft drink.
No.
According to a prevailing study.
When fluoride is added to public water supplies.
At an average concentration of about 1 part per million or slightly below, it prevents tooth decay.
But how?
Enamel is the hard outer covering of our tooth.
It is primarily made up of hydroxyapatite.
Hydroxyapatite is a compound of calcium, phosphorus and hydroxide.
Now, when bacteria in our mouth feed on food particles, they produce acid.
This acid dissolves the hydroxyapatite leaving behind a residue of calcium and phosphate ions.
This results in a tooth decay.
Now, when we drink water containing fluoride.
The fluoride binds with calcium and phosphate ions forming fluorapatite.
As fluorapatite is less susceptible to acid attacks, it helps to stop the tooth decay process.

Zodiac Signs Who Are Narcissistic, Ranked From Most To Least - Duration: 3:40.Zodiac Signs Who Are Narcissistic, Ranked From Most To Least
Narcissistic is toxic as many people say.
However, it becomes toxic especially if we talk about the psychological disorder.
People who suffer from this problem just cannot perceive reality with different angle.
That is why they always think they are the best.
It is fairly difficult to know which person is narcissist until you are finally captured
in their trap.
However, you can expect the worse by considering their zodiac sign.
Sometimes, zodiac sign can be a great help to find out whether the person has high probability
to be a narcissist.
However, please take this information with a grain of salt since most people have their
own characteristics without even considering their zodiac.
Before we jump to the lists, make sure to like this video and subscribe to our channel,
so you won't miss any of our interesting updates in the future.
1.
Taurus
It is on the first list because they think they deserve something better than most of
other people.
Lacking of empathy is the main cause of this problem.
2.
Leo
They believe that world revolves around them, and they are just remarkably confident.
3.
Scorpio
They start to be narcissist after being hurt or living in a wrong environment.
They like to take advantage over other people without feeling guilty.
Again, this lacking of empathy causes narcissism.
4.
Aquarius
They like to tell that you are wrong.
They always try to find your mistake before attacking.
It is a misdirection tactic from common narcissists.
5.
Virgo
Virgo always thinks they are the most intelligent person in the room.
Of course, it is usually not true, but they somehow made it look logical and real by providing
data.
6.
Aries
They like to do as they wish.
If the result is good for others, then it is good.
If it is not good, Aries really do not care.
7.
Sagittarius
Sagittarius like to make people regret.
They definitely do not think about what other people feel.
8.
Cancer
Needy, trickster, and pessimistic are the characteristics of Cancer.
When they are hurt emotionally, they start to feel self-pity.
9.
Gemini
They are quite smart to alter stories so that they look like a hero.
When they use 'I' in their sentence, expect to true story with a bit of seasoning here
and there.
10.
Libra
Libras are quite deceptive sometimes, and they blind others with their charming speech.
11.
Capricorn
Almost the end of the list, Capricorn actually has narcissistic traits which are related
to their work or career.
They boast about their careers, and that is all about Capricorn.
12.
Pisces
They only have a shiver change to be narcissists since they are happier to be a follower instead
of leader.
All in all, that's the signs of Narcissistic according to your zodiac.
So, what do you think your Zodiac will have anything to do with you?
Please share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!

Dùng bữa lịch sự với người Tây - Duration: 8:55.Hey, care to join me for a bite?
In this video, I won't be teaching you much about English,
but instead teaching you about Western culture,
specifically about Western table manners.
I know there are loads of Vietnamese people who want to make friends with foreigners,
or go to America, Australia, Europe, and so on to study and work.
So, the pointers in this video will help you dine comfortably and make a good impression.
One thing to keep in mind is that I haven't experienced every individual Western culture.
I'm positive you can apply the following pieces of etiquette 100% in the USA,
and apply generally in other English-speaking countries,
but if you're planning to go to Germany, for example,
then you should probably learn more about their etiquette in particular.
Okay, first of all, a lot of students have asked me what English-speaking people usually say before they eat.
Like, do they say something similar to "xin mời?"
The truth is, we often don't say anything,
or, at the very least, there's no fixed expression like "xin mời" or "mời cả nhà ăn cơm"
that everyone has to say before each meal.
If you go to eat in a restaurant,
you should know that Westerner's usually order individual dishes instead of communal ones,
and an important piece of etiquette is that you should wait until everyone at your table has been served before you start eating.
In the event your server serves your friend first and then goes back to the kitchen to get your food,
and you feel a bit awkward, because your friend is waiting for you,
you can say:
And in the event everyone gets served at the same time, someone might say:
But that phrase isn't mandatory,
and you personally don't have to say anything at all.
If you see that other people have started eating,
then you can start, too.
Now, if you're a guest in someone's home, that's a bit different.
In Christian homes, they'll say a prayer before eating.
Everyone will close their eyes and hold hands,
or they might just fold their hands like this.
While they're praying, you just need to sit quietly, and the meal will begin once they've finished.
In non-religious homes, you just need to wait for everyone to sit down,
again, the head of the household might say:
And you don't have to say anything.
However, I recommend you say something like:
Just to show your appreciation.
And another way to show your appreciation is to bring something to the meal.
In Vietnam, people usually bring fruit,
but where I'm from, a dessert or a bottle of wine is more appropriate.
Speaking of wine, you don't need to worry about being pressured to drink.
Even if you're a guy, saying you'd prefer not to drink won't make anyone think less of you.
And if you do choose to drink wine or beer,
you don't need to clink glasses every time you drink like in Vietnam.
Ugh, I find that custom so tedious.
In the West, people just drink naturally,
except for when someone wants to "make a toast."
That means, like, to make a little speech,
wish everyone good health,
celebrate some event,
then everyone will raise their glasses, maybe say . . .
. . . and then take a sip.
Done.
All right, time to eat.
Each place setting at a table in the West has at least one fork, one spoon, one knife, and one napkin.
And you'll find that napkins over there aren't tiny like the ones in Vietnam,
but rather at least as big as this.
Before you start eating, you should open your napkin like this and put it on your leg.
When you need to wipe your mouth or your fingers, just do it naturally, then put the napkin back on your leg.
If you need to go to the bathroom, fold your napkin lightly and place it on your chair.
And when you finish eating, fold it lightly and place it on the table.
Throughout the meal, you shouldn't put your elbows on the table,
like this,
or like this,
or like this.
Actually, you'll find that even Westerners don't follow this rule of etiquette 100%,
especially at informal meals,
but if you want to make a good impression,
I recommend you eat like this or like this.
Earlier, I said that at restaurants, Westerners usually order individual dishes rather than communal ones,
but at home, communal dishes are probably more common.
In English, eating like that is called "eating family-style."
And you guys should note that, unlike in Vietnam,
grabbing food with your personal utensils is strictly prohibited.
You'll find that every plate or bowl has a big spoon or fork,
and you have to use that to put food on your plate, like at a buffet.
If you just casually grab food with your own fork, you definitely won't be invited a second time.
Also, when you grab food, you shouldn't reach too far.
I've found that in Vietnam, people will often reach right across the table or the serving tray,
and it's no big deal,
but doing that in the West is seen as impolite.
If you want something that's on the opposite side of the table,
then you should ask someone who's sitting near it:
And another common Vietnamese action that you should avoid at a Western table
is putting food on someone else's plate, except if they ask you to.
I know that to Vietnamese people, putting food in someone else's bowl is just an act of affection,
but to Westerners, it seems kind of like an act of condescension,
as though you imagine that person isn't capable of getting their own food.
Compared to Vietnamese dishes, Western dishes rarely have dipping sauces,
but when you do encounter a dish that has some kind of communal dipping sauce, like chips and salsa,
you need to be cautious about "double-dipping,"
which means to dip once, take a bite, and then dip again.
In my experience, Vietnamese people don't really care about that,
but in America, some people *really* care about it.
Just like using personal utensils in communal dishes,
double-dipping is considered really unhygienic.
Now I'm going to talk a bit about the end of a meal.
If you're a guest in someone's home, I recommend saying:
And when everyone stands up and starts clearing the table, you should offer to lend a hand . . .
. . . even if you're a guy.
Things over there are different from Vietnam.
And if you go to a restaurant with friends,
you should know that we almost always split the bill.
It doesn't matter who suggested going out to eat. Everyone will still split the bill,
unless some generous individual says:
That means, "I'll pay,"
and you just need to respond with:
Speaking of paying, I also suggest you learn a bit about tipping culture before you go to a foreign country,
especially if you're going to the US.
Over there, tipping is a ridiculously complex issue, and it gives me a big headache every time I go home.
In the description, I'll leave a link to an article that can help you guys understand it in more detail.
If you need to use a toothpick after you eat, then go ahead and use it naturally.
You don't need to cover your mouth like this.
I know that in Vietnam, doing so is considered polite,
but in the West it seems really prissy,
and people might laugh at you.
And one final thing is that at a lot of small eateries and at the majority of coffee places in the West,
or at least in the US,
there's no table service.
You order your food or drinks at the counter, and when you finish, you have to clear your own table,
the same as at fast food restaurants like Popeye's and McDonald's.
If you see a sign in the place that says, "Please clear your own table,"
or "Please bus your own table," that means "Vui lòng tự dọn bàn,"
and somewhere or other you'll see a trash can and a bin for dishes.
And you just need to put your stuff there.
You don't need to wipe down the table, or anything like that.
And that's it,
enough information for you guys to enjoy a fun, comfortable meal with Westerners.
Bon appétit.
Okay. If you've got pronunciation problems like that,
I really recommend you try using ELSA.
It's able to catch loads of mistakes that Vietnamese people often make.
Seems useful, huh?
You can download ELSA on Google Play or The App Store.
Just search for "ELSA Speak."
For the first seven days, you don't have to pay anything.
After seven days, there is a usage fee,
however, since you're watching here, you'll get a discount.
You just need to go to elsaspeak.com/danhauer,
and follow the three simple steps there to check out with a price that's discounted from 10 to 80%.
Wow!

Liverpool given Leon Goretzka boost as Schalke insists Bayern Munich haven't agreed deal ● News #LFC - Duration: 2:24.Liverpool have been boosted by the news Leon Goretzka has not agreed to join Bayern Munich.
Reports emerged on Monday that the midfielder was on his way to the German champions this
month.
It was a real blow to Liverpool amid suggestions he was keen to move to Anfield.
But Schalke chief Christian Heidel insists the player has not yet decided on his future.
"Leon has not informed us that he has decided to leave.
I trust Leon and his adviser, with whom I was in contact with yesterday," he said.
Jurgen Klopp insists he is uninterested in Nike's advert suggesting Philippe Coutinho
will join Barcelona.
Speaking after Liverpool's win at Burnley, Klopp commented for the first time on the
fresh twist in what looks likely to be the transfer saga of 2018, report the Liverpool
Echo.
Sportswear giants Nike, who manufacture Barca's kits, advertised club shirts with Coutinho's
name on the back,
despite the fact that he remains very much a Liverpool player for the time being.
Coutinho was the subject of three failed bids by Barcelona in the summer and has been linked
with a move to Camp Nou in January.
A listing, which has since been deleted, on the Nike website read: "Philippe Coutinho
is ready to light up Camp Nou."
Philippe Coutinho and Mohamed Salah are both doubts for next weekend's Merseyside derby.
The Liverpool duo both sat out the 2-1 victory over Burnley as Ragnar Klavan headed a dramatic
winner.
The Reds are back in action against Everton in the FA Cup third round on Friday.
And Jurgen Klopp is unsure if either of his attacking pair will be available.
"Phil are Mo are injured, not massively but enough for today [to be] no chance," Klopp
said.
"And [they are] a doubt, at least a doubt, for Everton."

Movies Everyone Should See At Least Once In Their Life - Duration: 11:42.With art being subjective and audiences unpredictable, filmmakers can only hope their work will leave
a lasting impression.
Directors may even prefer a strong negative reaction to a film over one of indifference.
Every once in a while, a special film comes along, and whether you love it or hate it,
it makes you think, stirs up heated conversation, and stays with you long after your viewing.
From spine-tinglers to mind-benders, here are some films you should definitely check
out at least once in your life.
Some small spoilers ahead.
Zodiac
It's human nature to want to solve complicated puzzles and crack unsolved mysteries.
But sometimes there are questions that just can't be answered — like who ended five
people's lives in northern California during the late '60s and early '70s.
He called himself Zodiac, and nobody ever discovered his true identity, although that
wasn't for lack of trying.
The case inspired quite a few sleuths, and while most walked away defeated, a few would
never give up until they looked the killer right in the eye.
That's where David Fincher's Zodiac comes in.
It's a study of obsession — on what happens to a person when curiosity keeps gnawing away
at his mind.
"You got 4 crime scenes, not a single usable print?
You can't think of this case in normal police terms."
The movie follows a trio of heroes — a detective played by Mark Ruffalo, a reporter played
by Robert Downey Jr., and a cartoonist played by Jake Gyllenhaal — chasing down the hooded
serial killer.
Zodiac is about the never-ending search and how that quest can change from dedication
to obsession.
Granted, if you're looking for a gorefest, you might want to pass on this film.
This is a story about chasing after shadows and accepting the fact that you might never
know all the answers.
Looper
Time travel is a common trope in science fiction.
It's used so often that it can get pretty stale, and that's why Looper is a treat for
any film fan.
Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Looper uses the genre's time-bending conventions
to focus on how violence only begets violence and how our actions can wreak havoc across
generations.
In this universe, gangsters from 2074 send their victims back to 2044, where they're
disposed of by hit men like Young Joe, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
It's a lucrative job, but as part of the deal, Joe will eventually have to shoot his older
self to "close his loop."
Only, "Old Joe" Bruce Willis isn't going to sit around and let his younger self end his
own life.
This kicks off a film about a guy literally trying to find himself.
"You done all this already?
As me?"
"I don't want to talk about time travel.
Because if we start talking about it, then we're going to be here all day talking about
it, making diagrams with straws."
The more Young Joe learns, the more he gets sucked into a twisty revenge plot.
In a medium that often glorifies brute force, Looper shows that violence — even when done
for understandable reasons — doesn't solve problems… it just makes them worse.
Snowpiercer
If you're looking for realism, then Snowpiercer probably isn't the movie for you.
Instead, Bong Joon-ho's first English-language film works more like a fairy tale, one full
of brilliant visuals, masterful action scenes, and a radical message about the nature of
society.
The story is set in a post-apocalyptic future where the world has been turned into a giant
ice cube.
The few survivors have taken shelter on a massive train, but life aboard this locomotive
can be pretty rough for those stuck in the tail end.
"I belong to the front.
You belong to the tail."
These unlucky passengers are treated like peons by the well-to-do folks in the front,
so eventually a group of rebels led by Curtis, played by Chris Evans, decide it's time for
an uprising.
As they fight their way up the train — and through some of the most wonderful sets in
recent sci-fi memory — Curtis comes face-to-face with a harsh realization.
Without getting too far into spoilers, Snowpiercer isn't just a critique of the class system.
It's an examination of the very idea of "revolution."
Look at history, and you'll see that in most cases, idealistic rebels turn into the dictators
they want to overthrow.
According to Snowpiercer, that's because the system itself is beyond saving.
You might disagree with Snowpiercer's interpretation of politics, but at the very least it provides
some interesting food for thought.
And if for no other reason, you should check out the film for Tilda Swinton's hilarious-yet-horrifying
performance as the world's most maniacal politician.
Ex Machina
From Metropolis to Her, science fiction movies have always been interested in examining man's
relationship with technology, often reflecting the worries and concerns of their time.
After all, technology's constantly evolving, and constantly creating new benefits and new
drawbacks.
Nowhere is that more evident than in Alex Garland's Ex Machina.
"Are you attracted to me?"
"What?"
"Are you attracted to me?
You give me Indications that you are."
"I do?"
"Yes."
The story centers on a young programmer named Caleb, who wins the chance to spend a few
days working with Nathan, a wealthy super genius.
When Caleb shows up at Nathan's secluded cabin, he quickly becomes a part of a complicated
test, tasked with interviewing a beautiful robot named Ava.
Caleb soon develops a crush on the imprisoned Ava, while Nathan clearly enjoys his status
as a creator god.
As for Ava, she just wants to be free.
This brilliant film grapples with the ethical and moral questions about how humans should
treat artificial intelligence, and it also deals with relevant themes like the issue
of surveillance.
But there's something else going on in Ex Machina, as the film is a deeply disturbing
study about the different ways men objectify and abuse women.
By the end of the movie, you might start questioning everything you're seeing, with a few gut-punches
along the way that will leave you thinking about Ex Machina for quite some time.
Whiplash
If we know one thing for sure about Damien Chazelle, it's that the man loves himself
some jazz music.
For proof, look no further than Whiplash, the director's breakout film.
The movie stars Miles Teller as an ambitious young drummer named Andrew, a guy desperately
hoping to join a prestigious band at the music conservatory he attends.
But if he wants to make the cut, first he has to impress Terence, a snarling, swearing,
instrument-throwing conductor played by J.K. Simmons.
This is not a man who's easily impressed.
Driven by his need for perfection, Andrew dedicates every waking hour to becoming the
world's best jazz drummer, practicing so hard that his fingers bleed.
Meanwhile, he burns every bridge and ruins every relationship in his life, all to achieve
his goal of greatness.
Andrew only grows more and more obsessed with impressing Terence and becoming the next Buddy
Rich.
Sure, he's becoming a horrible person, but he's going to get his face on the Mt. Rushmore
of jazz music.
That's why Whiplash is such a fascinating film.
It's all about the price of success — similar to Chazelle's La La Land — and it suggests
that while you might become the greatest drummer who's ever lived, you'll probably have more
fans than friends.
The Invitation
There are a lot of great movies out there about grief like Ordinary People and Manchester
by the Sea.
But the scariest might be Karyn Kusama's The Invitation.
This is the ultimate dinner party-gone-wrong movie, one that'll have you sitting on the
edge of your seat the entire time, screaming at the characters to get out of the house.
Unfortunately, they won't listen — because they're far too polite.
The Invitation follows a guy named Will, played by Logan Marshall-Green, who's experienced
a terrible tragedy that ruined his marriage.
Now, he's received an invitation from his ex-wife Eden, played by Tammy Blanchard, for
a get-together at her Hollywood Hills home.
All the old gang's going to be there, and Will reluctantly agrees to attend.
But when he arrives, he feels something is terribly wrong — probably because Eden won't
stop talking about the weird cult she's just joined.
Or perhaps everything feels off because Will is still trying to cope with that tragedy
from his past, an event that occurred in this very house.
As his emotions come boiling to the top, Will must grapple with old wounds that never healed,
while trying to convince the other guests — all too nice to question their hosts'
odd behavior — that something weird is happening.
"You think we're crazy?"
"I never said that."
"That's OK. I'm not offended.
A lot of people think we're crazy."
It's a nail-biter of a film that deals with pain, loss, and the power of social norms.
And by the way, it ends with one of the creepiest final shots in thriller history.
The Babadook
Being a parent — especially a single mom — is incredibly hard, something Amelia knows
only too well.
She was left a widow when her husband was in a car wreck, and now she's alone with her
7-year-old son, Samuel.
Amelia and Samuel's relationship is complicated; he's basically a devil child.
He screams, cries, and metaphorically suffocates his mom.
She loves the boy, but she kinda hates him, too.
Just when Amelia reaches the edge of her sanity, a grisly pop-up book shows up at her house.
This isn't your normal bedtime story, though.
Instead, it's a "children's tale" about Mr. Babadook, a murderous demon with some very
bad plans for Amelia and her boy.
Soon, our hero sees the spirit lurking in the shadows, and as the monster gets closer
and closer, Amelia's relationship with Samuel takes an even darker turn.
"The Babadook did it, mum."
Written and directed by Jennifer Kent, this Australian film works perfectly as a first-rate
fright flick.
In fact, William Friedkin, director of The Exorcist said it was the scariest movie he'd
ever seen.
But really, The Babadook feels more like a compassionate version of The Shining.
The movie works on multiple levels, examining both the depths of depression and the pain
and suffering of being a parent.
It's a story about battling your demons and keeping them at bay, even if you know full
well that you'll never truly defeat them.
Get Out
Warning: the less you know about Get Out, the better.
If you want to keep completely spoiler-free, just know that writer-director Jordan Peele
has crafted one of the greatest horror movies of the 2010s, one that surpassed all box office
expectations and impressed nearly every critic on Earth.
You should also know that Get Out is a movie about racism, but not the kind that involves
rednecks, nooses, or burning crosses.
Daniel Kaluuya plays Chris Washington, a black photographer dating a white woman, played
by Allison Williams.
She wants Chris to meet her parents, but Chris isn't sure that's a good idea.
He knows a thing or two about being a black guy in a white world.
Nevertheless, Chris gives in, and Mom and Dad certainly seem friendly.
Many cringey compliments later, we begin to wonder if these people aren't quite as PC
as they seem, and maybe that's true about more Americans than we think.
"Do you find that being African American has more advantage or disadvantage in the modern
world?"
We won't give away any more of the plot, but rest assured, things get really scary really
fast.
The movie plays out like those horrific conspiracy classics from the '60s and '70s, like Rosemary's
Baby or The Stepford Wives.
With its ever-growing sense of dread, Peele's debut film is a brilliant satire of race relations
in the U.S., while also featuring one of cinema's creepiest party scenes and an intense climax
— to say the least.

2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV First Drive | Nailing the sweet spot - Duration: 7:34.SANTA CATALINA ISLAND, Calif.
— For years now, while the Mitsubishi brand has languished here in the U.S., other parts
of the world have been enjoying the Outlander PHEV.
It's Europe's best-selling plug-in hybrid, and Mitsubishi has been improving on it over
the years, testing it, refining the technology and punishing the vehicle in competitions
like the Baja Portalegre 500 and the Asia Cross Country Rally.
Now, as electric vehicles begin to gain greater acceptance, and as Mitsu turns its brand around,
it will finally offer the Outlander PHEV in America at the end of this year.
As Mitsubishi prepares to launch the Outlander PHEV stateside, we had the rare opportunity
to drive it across the interior of Santa Catalina Island, off the coast of Los Angeles, to test
it out on some rugged, scenic roads.
Sitting inside the Outlander PHEV, we were actually pleased with the interior.
It was simple and clean, and the plastics didn't feel especially cheap.
Sure, it wasn't the thoughtful design or plush touch points of the other available plug-in
crossovers on the market, but the Outlander PHEV also doesn't share the same price tag.
We definitely found it to be more attractive and appealing than the inside of, say, a Chevrolet
Equinox.
If you were expecting a pile of hot garbage from Mitsubishi, you're way off.
When we popped open the rear liftgate to take a look, we found our near-ideal tailgating
vehicle.
In the rear cargo area was a ton of space, a large speaker, cupholders and a standard
three-prong outlet, perfect for plugging in a slow cooker, blender, or any other appliance
you could find useful at a football game or campsite.
Later, when we would take a break from our drive at Catalina Island's Shark Harbor, we'd
be treated to a smoothie prepared in a blender plugged into that AC outlet.
If you happen to use all 12 kWh of energy, the gas engine will fire up to serve as a
generator.
The Toyota 4Runner may have had the "Party Mode" button, but the Outlander PHEV would
be our pick for the stadium parking lot.
As we passed through a gate at the edge of the town of Avalon and headed up a dirt road
across the interior of Catalina Island, we were quickly impressed with the way the Outlander
PHEV handled the rocky, dusty trails from which most drivers are normally prohibited.
The steering feel was light but communicative, and we were really able to tell what was going
on between the front wheels and the rugged surface beneath them.
It remained composed in the corners, its low center of gravity and Super-All Wheel Control
(S-AWC) four-wheel-drive system minimizing roll and providing stability.
It took a fair amount of effort to get this thing to give up any traction, and we weren't
keen on attracting the ire of conservancy rangers by flagrantly breaking the island's
25 mile-per-hour speed limit on blind corners to do so.
The Outlander PHEV borrows those fantastic paddle shifters we loved so much in the Lancer
Evolution.
They serve a different purpose here, though, as this plug-in only uses a single, fixed
reduction gear.
Instead, the paddles adjust the strength of the regenerative braking.
There are five levels of regen (six if you count the zero-regen setting), allowing you
to choose between coasting, and something near one-pedal driving.
While full regen won't bring you to a complete stop, it will slow you down significantly.
We found the varied range of regeneration especially useful when descending a steep,
bumpy hill.
The car has two suites of drive modes, one automatic, the other selected by the driver.
The car will automatically choose between all-electric, parallel hybrid (using both
the gasoline and electric motors to drive the wheels) and series hybrid (gas motor works
as a generator) driving.
It selects whichever of the three modes will provide the most efficient driving under the
current driving situation, whether cruising through town or on the highway, or towing
or driving uphill.
The three driver-selectable modes are chosen via buttons on the center console.
The EV button makes all-electric driving a priority, but the gas engine can still come
on if the situation (low charge or heavy acceleration, for instance) requires it.
The Battery Save button maintains up to 90 percent of the battery's charge (that extra
10 percent allows room to take advantage of the regenerative braking without wasting that
free energy).
Battery Charge mode keeps the engine running in order to charge the lithium ion battery,
making sure you always have enough power when you need it.
We found that the vehicle had ample power climbing the steep Catalina hills in EV mode,
and if the engine ever came on, we didn't notice.
When not in EV mode, the engine was still quiet, and we only heard it working hard when
we were really pushing the car with a low charge.
For green drivers, having those modes available, along with various levels of regeneration,
gives a sense of control.
On some electrified vehicles — the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid and
Plug-In come to mind – that level of interaction is limited in order to provide an approachable,
straightforward driving experience for the mainstream buyer.
Mitsubishi took the geeky route.
"From our market research, some of the real EV or PHEV, more knowledgeable customers want
that control of their battery," Nate Berg told us.
Berg is Mitsubishi's senior manager of product planning.
"But for a normal customer, they just want to drive this vehicle like any other vehicle
— 'I don't want to press buttons, I don't want to worry about modes' — they don't
need to."
It's the sort of thing that once you know the car, you'll be able to use your experience
and know-how to plan your routes for maximum efficiency.
An entertaining challenge, to be sure.
The timing sure seems right to introduce the Outlander PHEV to America.
Yes, gas prices are low, but demand for electrified vehicles is increasing, and seemingly everybody
(but Dodge) is getting in on the action.
Plus, the Outlander PHEV has a segment advantage.
America's hunger for crossovers and SUVs seems insatiable right now, and this one is priced
within reach of a lot more customers than other PHEV CUVs (and it offers DC fast charging).
By the way, EV driving range and fuel economy figures will be released soon, but Mitsubishi
says it expects to exceed the premium competition (which offer about 14 miles of EV range).
The Outlander PHEV could also stand to do well in fleet sales.
It's already proven itself in Europe, and if it's good enough for the Ukrainian police,
it'll be good enough for U.S. companies or organizations that want to project a greener
image and save money on fuel costs.
So is the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV something we'd consider owning?
Absolutely.
Put it on our short list for now, and we'll get back to you to confirm once we've had
the chance to drive the vehicle on the highway.
If you're someone who wants to do most of their driving under electric power, but needs
the freedom and practicality of an all-wheel-drive crossover, we'd definitely recommend giving
this one a test drive, particularly if you live in a single-car household.
Take a look again at that last sentence.
Mitsubishi may have fallen off your radar over the past decade, but the set of needs
this vehicle serves is a pretty huge and underserved sweet spot.
The Outlander PHEV will hit U.S. dealerships in late December 2017 with a starting MSRP
of $35,535.
A fully loaded version costs $41,235.
The vehicle is also eligible for a federal tax credit of $5,836, as well as any local
incentives.

Exhaust System - Duration: 10:46.The charge air and exhaust system during operation or just after the engine has
been stopped most of the engine will be hot touching the engine parts may cause
burns in this system be especially aware of the following parts the turbocharger
and connecting piping will get extremely hot the charge air receiver may reach 70
degrees Celsius the exhaust system will get extremely hot even though the
exhaust manifold is well insulated flanges especially close to the
turbocharger may cause severe burns
charge airs drawn through the compressor side of the turbocharger and continues
to the charge air cooler fitted beneath the turbocharger after the charge air
cooler the flow goes through the charged air manifold from the manifold the air
is distributed to each cylinder after combustion the exhaust valves open to
the exhaust manifold the manifold leads the exhaust flow back to the
turbocharger what it drives the turbine rotor thereafter it is carried through
possible heat exchangers and silencers to the atmosphere look for any leakages
tighten and change seals if necessary when operating on heavy fuel oil the
exhaust temperature will increase somewhat due to the slower combustion of
that type of fuel an increase of approximately 10 to 20 degrees Celsius
over diesel oil operation is normal it is important that the values from these
instruments are checked and recorded every day according to the log sheet to
assure that the operating staff will notice significant changes click the
components for further information the exhaust gas from the engine drives the
turbine which drives the compressor the compressor unit sucks in and
compresses the air required for the engine click the text the compressor
side of the turbocharger should be washed daily this should be carried out
at no less than 75% engine load remove the screw on the top of the tank fill
0.4 liters water into the water tank
tighten the screw actuate the valve towards the spring and hold it for about
10 seconds until all water's been injected engines running on heavy fuel
oil should have the turbochargers turbine washed once a week
run the engine a marine diesel oil during the water washing open the drain
cock and ensure that hot exhaust is coming out of the drain Pike if not
clear the blockage
adjust charge air pressure to 0.3 bar by reducing engine load run for five
minutes before washing
connect cold water supply from the ships freshwater system to the water pressure
regulator connection open the water injection valves before carefully
opening the water to the hose
check water pressure if necessary adjust 1 plus minus 0.2 bar
cleaning should go on for 10 minutes only water vapor and some drops of water
will come out of the drain cock
shut up water to the holes and close the water injection valves disconnect the
hose
run the engine at same load for five minutes to dry up the turbine then shut
the drain cock
increase engine load to normal for evaporating of condensed water the
compressor side of the turbocharger check oil level once a day the oil level
should be inside the red circle while it stands still
if check oil level once a day the oil level
should be inside the red circle while it stands still if the color of the lube
oil has turned significantly darker than it was the day before there is a
possibility for seriously damaging the turbocharger increased foaming in the
oil gauge glass is an indication that the oil should be changed remember both
bearings have their own oil reservoir the turbocharger must not run when oil
is being changed open the drain plug and the filling plug on the bearing housing
cover and drain the used oil fast in the drain plug fill the lubricating oil up
to the upper mark on the sight glass
place the gasket on the filling plug and fasten it thoroughly remember both
bearings have their own oil reservoir
generally we recommend a synthetic lubricating oil which should be changed
at least once per 5000 operational hour when refilling oil follow the same
procedure as when changing oil except from opening drain plug remember both
bearings have their own oil reservoir the main purpose of the charge air
cooler is to reduce the temperature of the charged air engines running on heavy
fuel oil are always fitted with two-stage coolers Stage one is connected
into the engines jacket water circuit while Stage two is cooled by seawater or
low temperature freshwater the heat from the jacket water is used to heat the
charged air at low engine load to stage air coolers are fitted with drain
channels to ensure detection of leakages if water leakage water will come out of
the telltale hole air leakage can be detected by whistling sound in case of
water or air leakage the end cover gasket has to be replaced if a sea water
cooling system is used the end covers should be disassembled at regular
intervals for inspection and cleaning when out of service for longer periods
drain and leave drain and venting cocks open if using sea water cooling flush
with fresh water
the insulation screen must always be in place when the engine is running because
the exhaust manifold is hot and contact may cause fire or burning accidents

Top 10 CRAZIEST Pseudoscience Theories! Find out about Dowsing Rods and Nibiru Planet X! - Duration: 12:38.science is all about a provable and repeatable process you've probably
learned it in school ask a question do research construct a hypothesis test the
hypothesis analyze the data and communicate the results but what happens
when people claim something to be fact but they can't really prove it to be
true we call this sway Doe science they
either don't test their theories at all or only pick the results that support
their theories this is not only terrible science but it helps to drive many
dangerous and wrong ideas stay tuned to number one to find out which
inexplicable sway Doe science is still used to find underground sources of
water today
number ten astrology astrologists claim to be able to predict a person's
personality based upon the alignment of stars when they were born but no study
has ever been able to show any strong connection between the location of the
stars in the sky and a person's personality or abilities astrology's
popularity may come from its tendency to make people self fulfill their daily
predictions you may not even be aware that you're doing it but if you read
that you're gonna have a terrible day you are more likely to actually have one
simply because it's on your mind this is known also as the power of suggestion
because of the power of your subconscious mind to see these
predictions play out in the innocuousness of your daily grind this
particular suite of science has developed what is also known as
confirmation bias which simply means that you will actively look for evidence
to confirm your horoscope so though astrology may have no scientific
credibility our basic psychology can cause us to believe in it even if we
have no reason to number nine psychic abilities some people are said to be
able to perceive information that are not normal within the human senses they
call this ESP or extrasensory perception and this ESP allows them to do things
like read minds or speak with ghosts many studies have been done in the field
of psychic powers and they have produced inconsistent results which means that
psychics are not able to prove that they are indeed psychic while psychic
abilities may be true a lot of people who claim to be psychic are actually
just using a system of hot and cold reading this means that they will look
for answers to questions that could cover a broad range of people making it
seem like they have knowledge of a single individual coupled with a good
grasp of reading and understanding body language they can change their answers
if they think that you are reacting negatively to their replies and
therefore you believe that they are actually able to communicate with your
dead relatives number eight the vaccination and autism link this is
another contentious point with loud voices on both sides of the argument
but there are definitely some dangerous points of this sweet Oh science theory
this began in the late 1990s when a study published by a British surgeon
suggested that the MMR measles mumps and rubella vaccine was increasing autism in
British children the paper has since been discredited because of serious
procedural errors financial conflicts of interest within those who perform the
testing and also ethical violations the man who wrote the paper eventually even
lost his medical license even after all this many look at his conclusion
seriously but several other major studies have since been conducted all of
which concluded that there is no conclusive link between any vaccine and
autism to this day many believe that vaccines cause harm which is still the
subject of debate however not getting vaccinated is equally as dangerous and
puts the lives of other children at risk and rather more concerning has the
ability to bring back strains of many terrible diseases that were once thought
to be eradicated number 7 homeopathy created in 1796 by
Samuel Hahnemann cures for any and all ailments were manufactured using a
process of homeopathic dilution where a chosen substance is repeatedly diluted
to the point where no molecules of the original substance remain homeopathy
claims water can cure you because it once held medicine think about that for
a second and then think about all the other things of water has held and then
maybe don't because it's too disgusting homeopathy is not a plausible treatment
because it's beliefs about how drugs illness the human body liquids and
solutions work have been contradicted by a wide range of discoveries and other
topics including biology psychology physics and chemistry and yes some
clinical trials have produced positive results but multiple systemic reviews
have shown that this is because of chance flawed research methods and
reporting bias let's just stick with the doctors number 6 intelligent design
if the answer to every question about evolution is because God wanted it that
way then you believe more in faith than science and that's okay we're certainly
not here to convince you otherwise but intelligent design is a religious
argument for the existence of God presented by its followers as an
evidence-based scientific theory about life's origins but as all evidence
points to the contrary it could also be considered swayed Oh science supporters
of intelligent design often claim that certain features of the universe and of
living things are best explained by an intelligent cause not an undirected
process such as natural selection however educators philosophers and the
scientific community have demonstrated that creationism lacks any empirical
support and offers no testable or tenable hypothesis and so it's not
science not to say that that should waver your faith number 5 toxins and
chemical free ever been on a cleanse to rid your body of toxins ever question
what those toxins actually are well scientifically they are a poisonous
substance produced by living cells that when introduced into a new body causes
the creation of antibodies it is not just a coverall term for a bad thing
that's in all the stuff I don't like while a detox diet may well encourage
you to eat more healthy food that's really all it's doing and while we're at
it can we stop saying that things are chemical free they're not in fact you
are a walking bag of chemicals not all chemicals are bad after all you die
without h2o + o2 wouldn't you there are an outstanding number of items
advertised as chemical free seriously google it but there is no such thing as
chemical free shampoo it will maybe have less damaging chemicals in it but even
all natural products are made of chemicals because Mom everything is
number 4 graphology graphology or graph analysis but not
graph analysis is the belief that a person's personality can be seen in
their handwriting that the physical characteristics and patterns of
handwriting can identify the writer indicates psychological state at the
time of writing and evaluate personal characteristics controversial for more
than a century graphology supporters often try to show anecdotal evidence of
positive testimonials as a reason to use this way to science for personality
evaluation however as with all the things I've mentioned earlier empirical
studies fail to show any validity number three
Nibiru Cataclysm this is the belief that there is a large planet Planet X or
Nibiru close to our solar system and that we are destined to collide with it
causing the end of the world there is however absolutely no evidence of this
other planets existence but this does not stop the supporters who believe that
NASA is at the heart of the global elite conspiracy to hide the truth from the
general population while they seek refuge in secret underground bunkers the
existence of Nibiru was first speculated in 1976 when writers zecharia sitchin
claimed that the Babylonians and the Sumerians total of a great planet dubbed
Nibiru which orbited the Sun and in 1995 by Nancy Leiter who started a website
called Zeta talk where she tells people that she can communicate with
extraterrestrial life these beings from the planet Zeta Reticuli star system
sent her messages via an implant in her brain these beings told her to warn
mankind of its impending doom as Nibiru would enter our solar system in 2003
well that didn't happen and so that changed to September 2017 but we're
still here number 2 flat earthers here we go my favorite of the Swade Oh
Sciences though flat earthers members of the Flat Earth Society claim to believe
that the earth is flat this is because when they walk around on the planet's
surface it looks and feels flat when in reality the earth is just vastly bigger
than they and it looks flat because the difference
in size makes it difficult for the naked eye to see natural curvature any and all
evidence to the contrary including images of the Earth from space clearly
showing the world to be round are said to have been altered by NASA the leading
Flat Earth theory holds that the earth is a disc with the Arctic Circle in the
center and Antarctica is a 150 foot wall of ice around the rim NASA is full of
employees who are apparently only there to stop people from climbing over the
wall and falling off the disk they explain night and day by saying to the
moon known to be 384,000 kilometers from Earth and the Sun 147 million kilometers
from Earth our spheres that are really 32 miles across and move in circles only
3,000 miles above the surface of the earth oh and there's also an invisible
anti moon that hides the moon during the lunar eclipse they also believe that
there is no gravity but rather than the earth is driven upwards at 32 feet per
second squared by some dark energy flat-earthers also think that GPS
devices are rigged to make airplane pilots think they are flying in straight
lines around a sphere when they are actually flying in circles above a disk
I'm not sure what else I can say apart from that recently when asked by
Elon Musk why there was no flat Mars society they replied by saying that Mars
had been observed to be round well I have news for you
so his earth number one dowsing rods proved by science to be as effective as
random chance dowsing is still used to this day by some water companies as a
way of finding underground water wells dowsing is a type of divination using
two l-shaped twigs or rods individually called a dowsing rod divining rod or
witching rod in blind attempts to locate groundwater buried metals or ores
gemstones oil gravesites and any other buried item without the use of a
scientific apparatus holding the rods in your hands you walk with them out in
front of you until they move cost each other a signal that you have
found what you're looking for the movement of dowsing rods is now
generally attributed to the ID ometer effect the ID ometer effect is a
reflexive response usually to pain but the body sometimes reacts reflexively to
ideas alone without the person consciously making the movements the
effects of automatic writing dowsing Ouija boards have all been attributed to
this phenomenon you want something to happen your body creates it are there
any other sweet Oh Sciences that you believe in or would like to debunk
