Have you made the same tomato chutney or onion chutney

to go along with your idli and dosa?

Come, lets cook a different chutney

that is super easy and delicious to make

I have made this chutney using plum fruit

tastes similar to pachadi, is sweet, spicy, tangy and saltiness adjusted to perfection

This is a famous North Indian chutney known as Aloo Bukharay ki Chutney

Onto my saucepan, I have taken some quartered plums

Add in 2 tbsp jaggery

and 6 dates

You can also use sugar but jaggery and dates are a healthier option

Switch on the gas on medium flame and stir this

Add in 1 dried red chilli

and grated ginger

I am going to give this to my 2 year old little one

so have kept the level of spiciness low

You can adjust to suit your family needs

Also adjust jaggery and dates as per taste

Cover with a lid and cook for 15 mins

until the plums soften a bit

Do keep stirring in between to avoid burning at the bottom

Its been 15 mins now

Plums has cooked and softened

Before adding the seasoning I would do a taste test

You also do the same as

plums are naturally sweet and sour

so we can judge only by tasting this

This tasted a bit sour

so I am adding extra jaggery

Along with that add in rock salt, salt to taste

cumin powder, nutmeg powder. Stir well

All the ingredients used in this chutney

is very nutritious, healthy and good for our body

Do try to include it in your regular diet

Upon tasting the spice level was less

so added about 1/8 tsp red chilli powder

Stir, cover and cook for another 5 mins

This chutney tastes good with idli dosa

or even chapati

and even with everyone's favourite chaat

Switch off the gas and let it cool completely

Grind it to a smooth paste without adding any water

Transfer it to a glass container

Add in sesame seeds

I have dry roasted it for a minute

Also add in vinegar

Vinegar acts as a preservative

stays fresh for 2-3 months in refrigerator

You can skip adding vinegar if you are going to use it in 2-3 days

In just 10 plums we got such good amount of chutney

so it is advisable to add vinegar to keep it fresh for longer time

This tastes like our pachadi -

sweet, spicy, sour and saltiness adjusted to perfection

Cover with a lid

and store in the refrigerator for 2-3 months

Rebecca White (Emily Head) escaped death in tonights episode when her deranged nephew Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson) tried to kill her.

The Emmerdale cast member has been in a critical condition ever since being a passenger in the fatal car crash that killed her sister Chrissie and dad Lawrence.

Rebecca is the only surviving member of the accident that knows Lachlan caused the crash, so he tried once more to finish her off.

But as Lachlan gave her an impassioned speech while she laid in her hospital bed, her eyes started to move.

So Rebeccas machine was beeping when Lachlan was holding the pipes yet no doctor or nurse ran in? asked one.

Another continued: Love it how people can sit alone with those in ICU and be able to fiddle with tracheal intubation tubes without a nurse in sight! Nothing gets passed soap fans these days.

she didn't expect.

Nancy Pelosi invited all 192 Democrats in the House of Representatives out to dinner

on Saturday, January 20, 2018, following the government shutdown.

The little get together was reportedly held at a fancy Italian restaurant in Washington,

D.C., where liberal lawmakers stuffed themselves while military families got hit with the bad

news about not getting paid.

It didn't take long for word of Pelosi's "shutdown" party to get out and family

members of military personnel took to social media with one brutal response after another

for the demon-hag from California.

Politico's Jake Sherman was the first to tweet about the event, writing, "PELOSI

hosting a dinner for all House Dems tonight at aqua al 2…..," which started an avalanche

of criticism.

One Twitter user by the username of Jeff Works4ALiving laid into Pelosi and her liberal bottom feeders.

Patrick hit the nail on the head.

Pelosi will likely be reelected for the simple fact that she is from "shithole" California,

It's snowing now, it's really pretty outside. So I'm in South Bend, Indiana

All right, so I'm back in the car. It's very cold outside, I think it's like five degrees Fahrenheit

I don't know in Celsius must be like -15, -20, I don't know, it's crazy cold

But I managed to take 12 shots, so that's the whole roll. Three of them were pretty much the same composition

I had to take three shots because the first one the lens was full of snow

And I didn't realize then I was not focusing properly and then the third shot

Hopefully is the charm

I just wanted to show you that I'm using the orange filter now - I'm loving it in the snow

I love the effect that it creates. It adds a lot of drama and a lot of contrast

I push HP5 to 800 and this orange filter adds even more on top of that. And then of course

I do post processing in Lightroom, so

even more. To compensate for this filter

I overexpose my shots by between two and even three stops when it's in the snow

Respect to what my digital camera is telling me. I'm gonna keep exploring this place now

I'm gonna move because I think I have to leave this parking lot now

But I'm gonna try to find another one and walk maybe to the stadium

Or a couple lakes that are farther north in the campus

Some of these are: family history of stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking

cigarettes, diabetes, obesity and cardio vascular disease history.

Stroke is a medical emergency and has to be treated immediately to save life and to reduce

the post stroke problems.

First of all one has to check if the symptoms are of a stroke.

If it is then calm the patient and lay the person down.

The head and the shoulders should be slightly elevated.

Rush the person to the nearest hospital if the person is not breathing, where the person

is treated with clot-busting drugs.

There are some methods to treat a stroke at home or a place where it occurs, some of which

are listed.

1 Carrots.

Once the patient is at home, continue the prescribed medicine and add carrots to your

daily diet.

Having 2-3 carrots daily for at least 4-5 times a day will help in the treatment.

Eating carrots everyday will reduce the chances of a stroke by almost 45%.

Carrots are rich in beta-carotene and other carotenoids.

2 Raw Fruit Juices

The patient suffering from a stroke should go on a fast.

This will help the body to re-adjust and minimize the effect of the stroke.

After a couple of days of fasting the person, can start on raw fruit juice.

This will lessen the side effects of the stroke and help the person to get back to normal

faster.

3 Garlic

Research has shown that garlic whether taken raw or as a capsule has the potential to reduce

platelet adhesiveness and boost blood circulation.

Garlic is known as the best anti clotting herb.

It contains nine anti coagulant compounds.

Garlic reduces the blood pressure and lowers cholesterol levels.

Garlic is one of the best herbs for stroke prevention.

Use it in your salads, cooked food or have it raw.

4 Turmeric And Ceyenne Pepper

Turmeric too helps to remove blood clots.

Turmeric has a compound curcumin; it is this compound that helps the blood from clotting.

This will help to not only treat the stroke, but also prevent it from occurring further.

The powder of cayenne too, is a good healer and preventer of stroke.

Cayenne pepper has properties that boost the circulation of blood and help the heart in

functioning better.

Use a minimum of 100 miligrams of cayenne pepper twice a day daily.

Include these two ingredients in your daily diet.

5 Green Tea

Herbal tea is very good to treat a stroke.

Green tea is a great anti oxidant and it helps in detoxification too.

The properties of the green tea will help in getting relief.

Green tea should be prepared and consumed at least two to three times a day.

U2 took it upon themselves to rail against President Trump and the Ku Klux Klan in the

new video for "Get Out of Your Own Way."

The animated clips for the video were of course developed by the Broken Fingaz Crew which

is an Israeli graffiti collective.

The extremely offensive imagery in the video alternates between images of extreme anguish

such as a woman crying, a skull enveloped by flames, Jesus turning into a skeleton and

direct political references such as Ku Klux Klan members marching across the screen with

torches in hand as President Donald Trump looks out from the Oval Office window.

But perhaps the most disturbing part of the video isn't the actual images but the lyrics

of the song.

It's a call to action, a call for anarchy against the President and all who support

him and voted for him.

Bono instructs people to "Fight back, Don't take it lyin' down, you got to bite back."

Why didn't anyone make a song and a video when so many of us were priced out of the

Health Insurance market thanks to the lies Barack Hussein Obama and his fellow Democrats

told us in order to take over the US healthcare system and enact Obamacare?

Why all of a sudden do these entertainers who are most of questionable morals and ethics

think anyone cares what they believe?

Broken Fingaz Crew, the fearless Israeli graffiti collective whose provocative, groundbreaking

Haifa, have directed U2's new video for "Get Out Of Your Own Way."

Known only by the pseudonyms that preserve their anonymity with local authorities–Unga,

Tant, Kip and Desco-the enigmatic Broken Fingaz Crew approached U2 with the concept of an

animated visualization of the second single from the band's new Songs of Experience.

After a successful collaboration on U2's video for "American Soul," the band were

inspired to give Broken Fingaz Crew full creative control based on their impassioned interpretation

of "Get Out Of Your Own Way."

The result reaffirms Broken Fingaz Crew's standing as artistic and social pioneers emerging

from an underground of their own creation.

Broken Fingaz Crew described the mission statement of their "Get Out Of Your Own Way" video

as follows:

"The video addresses the current political situation: 2017 for us was the year fascists

worldwide felt confident enough to raise their heads again, encouraged by Trump and other

world leaders, who use people's fear to build more walls and segregation.

The song is both a personal letter and a clarion cry to the global situation, and in the same

Atletico Madrid vs Las Palmas - Sunday January 28, 2018 - Duration: 8:00.

Hey guys, Rick here with Life of a punter. I hope you joined us last week

with our bets for the Bayern versus Bremen game because our picks for that

game were absolutely spot on and this weekend, on Sunday, Atletico Madrid

is hosting Las Palmas and we have a bet lined up for this one

which is first-half goals under 1.5. Yes, under 1.5, this is a bet that we almost

never take but when we were doing research for this game the stats for

this bet just looked way too good. We want to show you the rationale as to how

we came up with this bet, so if you want to take this bet for yourself, you

can so that you can bet with confidence. So let's have a look at those stats.

Atletico come into this match on the back of four wins in their last six and

they're currently a group 1 side because they're currently second in the

table and they are a Champions League group side. Las palmas on the other hand

are in poor form, they've only won one in the last six and that came last weekend

due to a red card. They're considered a group 4 side right now because

they're currently second last in the table. The first thing we take a look at

is head-to-head stats and over the last five seasons in the league these teams

have only faced each other four times with Atletico winning each and every

single time. Average match goal is 2.5 and there's typically a goal in the

first half, as shown here by 75%, or 3 or 4 matches, but typically not more than

two or more goals scored - that's only happened in one of the four matches.

Atletico has scored every single time and interestingly enough, they have not

conceded. Taking a look at the historical score lines, it seems it's

either a high scoring game, 5-0 or 3-0 at Las Palmas, or at Atletico it's a

low-scoring game. So while head the head stats is the

first parameter to look at, the sample size here isn't large enough. So your job here

is to find bets that are consistent across multiple parameters. The second

thing that I'm gonna look at - the second parameter - is how Aletico has played

so far this season, which is what I'm looking at here.

They have played 20 games so far this season. Average match goals goes down to 1.9 so

not that many goals scored, not that many goals in the first half - only 50% of

games have seen a goal in the first half and there's been two or more goals

scored in the first half in only 15% of matches, which is 3 of 20 games. So very

low-scoring first half games. Atletico are doing a good job of scoring but

looks like they are scoring in the later stages of games, typically in the last 10

to 20 minutes of matches. Looking at the current form in terms of score lines

they are in pretty good scoring form, they failed to score in about

only 1 or 2 in the last 10 games, so good scoring form. I'm just gonna change this

filter to home since this game is being played at Atletico. So similar

characteristics, low-scoring match and not that many goals in the first

half. This is what I particularly like, first half goals over 1.5 is only 0%, so

of 9 games so far played at home this season

none of those games have seen two more goals scored in the first half.

Atletico are scoring, it tends to be late as shown here by before

80:00 is 89% and they seem to not concede that much. So a couple potential bets

here are Atletico to win, Atletico to score, Atletico to not concede,

and for there not to be two or more goals scored in the first half. So I'm

just gonna do the flip side here, I'm just gonna check Las Palmas to see how

they're playing so far this season to see if any one of those bets are

consistent from Las Palmas. I'm gonna change this filter to away. They

have played ten games so far away from home this season, average match goal is

not consistent - it's actually high at 3.0, same with goal in the first half.

There's typically goals in the first half in their games, especially away from

home, but first half goals over 1.5 remains very low at 20%, their score

rate remains very low at only 20% and they've conceded each and every single

time. So to narrow down the bets, we still like Atletico for a win, we

still like Atletico to score, there's potential for Atletico to

win to NIL, and first half goals under 1.5. So there's one last parameter that I

do want to test just to see what's actually consistent because I don't know

quite yet as to which one of those bets I want to take. So the last parameter is

team versus group which is what I'm looking at here. How has Las Palmas

played against Group 1 sides away from home over the last three seasons?

Six games to look at, average match goal is 3.33, they have scored in

50% of matches, so that jumped up from 20% to 50%, and they have conceded each

and every single time as well. First half goals over 1.5 is 33% so I think that

this gives us enough to say all right what I really like is Las Palmas definitely

gonna concede and I don't think there's gonna be at least two or more goals

scored in the first half. I'm just gonna change this parameter for Atletico, just

to confirm that. I'm going to change this filter to home so this is gonna show

me how has Atletico played against group 4 sides at home over the last

3 seasons? 14 matches, high average match goals at 3.0, they scored each and every

single time, they've conceded 21% of the time, and first-half goals over 1.5

is only 29%. Having to look at the odds pre-match, Atletico

to win is only paying 1.2, so while I do like this bet the odds are too

short to take pre-match. So we have to take a look at the other markets and the

best bet that we think you can make for this match is first half goals under 1.5,

which is paying 1.61 pre-match which isn't bad. And lastly the other market

that we had been considering is Atletico to win to nil, which is paying 1.8 odds.

So not bad of an odd but from what we saw in the stats, Las Palmas over the

last few seasons against Group 1 sides away from home, they have scored

in 50% of the games, so that is a little bit too high for my liking and so

to take Atletico win to NIL, I just don't like it as much as

first half goals under 1.5 because we saw that the stats for that one are consistent

across all parameters and we think that that's an absolutely solid bet that you

can take, especially pre match.
