you'll ever meet. They are naturally chilled out, relaxed and loving. In a world that is
always in a rush and that can't stop talking and clamoring for the limelight, the introvert's
cool and laid-back nature is extremely appealing. It is true that introverts are drained by
crowds, but they thrive in small groups and one-on-one interactions.
3. They are dreamers.
Despite what you may have heard, dreaming is anything but a waste of time. Psychologist
Scott Barry Kaufman and colleagues explain that a mind that wonders aids in the process
of "creative incubation." You may already know from experience that our best ideas come
seemingly out of the blue when our minds are elsewhere.
Introverted people get lost in their minds often and come out of them with refreshing
and wonderful ideas. When you are with them you are fascinated and feel like a part of
the magic because of the way they treat you and let you in on intriguing, new possibilities.

It seems everyone in our extroverted world today is preoccupied with themselves and what's

they are motivated to act by deeper, internal convictions rather than shallow, external
motivations like reward and recognition.
They know who they are, what they want and what matters in their life. And that is why

That natural tendency to embrace solitude, focus deeply on a subject, think and act creatively

Pirate's Punch Cocktail Recipe ~ Torani Friday ~ My Visit with The Kneady Homesteader - Duration: 7:41.

How long has it been since we did one of these right well today?
I'm going to recreate a cocktail that heather, and I enjoyed when we went to dinner when they visited a few weeks back
And it's called Pirates punch
It's a delicious combination of pineapple coconut and orange and I can't wait to show you how this all comes together
All right welcome to Torani Friday. How long has it been since I did one of these?
I've had several people asking so I thought let's go ahead and do a couple more I
kind of took a break from Tirana Friday because not a lot of you watched them so I'm going to go ahead and and
Start up again. Maybe do one every other week, and we'll see how it goes so today
I'm going to make my version of pirates punch now. You know I live in Eastern, North Carolina
Pirates are huge here
we have
Blackbeard's Queen Anne's revenge that sank off the outer banks
Just off the coast of North Carolina. It's about. I don't know a couple hours away from where I live and
Also, we have East Carolina university
Which is where my oldest daughter molly will be attending starting in the fall semester
and their mascot is a pirate so we have all sorts of
pirate nation
pirate pride you better believe that so
When Heather and Matt came to visit a couple of weeks back
We had pirate punch when we when we had dinner together at the sanitary fish house
And I thought it would be fun to recreate that cocktail and then I'm going to show you at the end of the video
I'll be showing you a little video that rick took when we first met now
I know that you've probably seen Heather's video of our meeting the first time, but this will be from Rick's perspective and
I haven't shared it yet, so I'm going to share that with you
and then we have a couple of pictures that we took together when they were here, so
Pirates punch here. We go. I have my cocktail shaker here that
Has some ice in it, and then I have a glass filled with ice as well
We're going to start with four ounces of pineapple juice
two ounces of orange juice
and
then we're going to do a full shot or two ounces of
I have a good quality white rum here
And then I have some cointreau which is nothing more than an orange liqueur. This is a
Middle Shelf you can use
We're going to use two ounces of that as well
You use triple sec, or if you're in the mood, and you have it on your shelf you can also use Grand marnier
but honestly, I think Grand marnier is a
little high way for this cocktail and then we're going to use some coconut irani and
I'm going to use two ounces of that as well
This is a sweet cocktail
And that's pretty much it and I have a little garnish going on off to the side
I'm just going to put the lid on my cocktail shaker and give us a bit of a shake. It doesn't need to be anything
huge
Just get it well and mixed and then we're going to go ahead and strain it
into our
Glass that I have at the ready. I'll just filling it
young and then I have our garnish
and there we go and that
My friends is pirates punch
If you do not have a cocktail shaker you can just use a long bar spoon to stir that up
And it'll be just fine. You don't have to shake it if you don't want to now this is when the magic happens
We're going to try it
That's dangerous that tastes very similar to the pirates punch. We enjoyed at the sanitary Fish market
It's really good. It's really really good nice with its alcohol
yeah, I think the sanitary kind of jumped us out on the booze but
there's really only one shot inherent it's a perfect drink and
It's really my kind of drink come on. Let's be honest. It's a chick drink. I'll give you that
But it's really yummy if you love a rum punch or a rum based drink
You're going to love this one
And I use the coconut taurani if you want to you can also stick some of the pineapple Taurani in there in
Which case I would just use one ounce of coconut one ounce of pineapple, and then you can mix that up
It's really really delicious
I probably made enough for you know two smaller drinks instead of one really tall drink with a little bit left over

The "Transgender Craze" has taken our country by storm.
Now, we are seeing an increase of child abuse among parents who think this sick ideological
agenda is a way of life for their small children.
Dr. Michelle Cretella is the president of the American College of Pediatricians.
She wrote a piece for The Daily Signal where she explains the effects of transgender mania
and its impact on her career.
She states in the piece that parents are exposing their children to "puberty blockers, sterilization,
the removal of healthy body parts, and untold psychological damage."
It is not hard to see her point of view.
Liberal parents now have children in the age of the transgender fad.
They are trying to condition their children to be transgender so that they have hip talking
points for their friends and family.
What they are doing is child abuse — plain and simple.
Parents are encouraging children to be confused about their identity so they can bring them
to "gender clinics" and get them puberty blockers and all kinds of other harmful and
unnecessary "medicine."
One of the explanations that Cretella gives for the backing of doctors is they go along
with it because they don't want to lose their jobs.
They have seen how the Left behaves when they don't get their way.
It will end with people standing outside their clinic with signs calling these people "transphobic"
or other made-up, hateful sounding words.
The SJW insanity is happening all across the country.
It is no stretch to believe that by not obeying them they could cause a full shutdown of the
business.
However, we believe that enough people would back these doctors to keep them in business.
Surely someone would be willing to put a stop to the protesters who may turn violent when
they don't get their way.
This type of bullying needs to stop.
The damage being done to the children growing up in today's day and age is irreversible.
Parents are giving their children medication that could sterilize them for the rest of
their lives, and some of these children are not even ten years old.
You have to realize, the mind of a child is malleable.
They can be made to believe that anything is true — even if it is completely false.
Parents are brainwashing their children with transgender propaganda until they eventually
believe it.
Once they believe it, the parents are free to convince the child of participating in
self-destructive behavior such as the use of puberty blockers.
Dr. Cretella notes, "I have witnessed an upending of the medical consensus on the nature
of gender identity.
What doctors once treated as a mental illness, the medical community now largely affirms
and even promotes as normal.
" In other words, the doctors are not fighting back.
If you are in the medical profession, PLEASE speak out about this issue.
We cannot allow this false reality to take the place of facts and science.
The future, literally, depends on it.

He said as part of your advice or retirement planning, I have been putting
aside 15% of my monthly salary as a saving. and I have diversified
my investment into stocks, unit trust and properties. Sounds like a pretty good
student. I'll be retiring this year and my question is whether I should
continue to do the same after retirement since I do not have any more regular
income or I should start to cash out my investments?
Also how much medical insurance should I buy? Thank you.
This is a very long question but first I must congratulate Mr. Yong for being
a good student for religiously putting aside 15 % of its money salary
into saving and into investment. I'm sure that kind of amount will be very
helpful and very useful to help him to grow his retirement asset to fund
his retirement lifestyle. You are right. You cant save regularly anymore, because
you no longer have regular income on a monthly basis. However I would
suggest you that, not to liquidate your investment portfolio
and put the money into the bank to earn interest rate just because that you are
retired now. Assuming your investment portfolio is doing well, so keep it
growing. What you need to make sure is that you will be able to manage you
portfolio in such a way that it becomes more moderate risk in nature, it is diversified
and it comprises of solid investment assets.
Many people you see, what they do is that they liquidate all the investment asset
they have and put this money into fixed deposit earning interest rate which will
be depleted by inflation risk. But now you may wonder if I invest
everything I have into an investment portfolio, how do I provide for my
retirement living expenses? My suggestion is that you should actually
only liquidate part of your investment portfolio and provide for 3 years
of your retirement living expenses as a cash reserve. And park this money into
investment or something like cash or cash equivalent kind of investment asset.
Every year you can withdraw your retirement living expenses need from the
cash reserve. Once a year, you will top up your cash reserve using
the gain, using the profit that you make from the investment portfolio.
So you always make sure your cash reserve can cater for 3 years of your
retirement living expenses. By using this retirement planning kind of methodology,
you'll be able to ensure that you always have money to take care of your
retirement living expenses and at the same time you make sure that your
investment or your retirement asset can always beat inflation risk. For medical

JBL Pulse 3 Review Vs JBL Pulse 2 - Its My New Favorite Thing! - Duration: 12:17.

Announced back at CES 2017, a lot of people have been waiting for this thing to drop…
well at least I have.
Especially since I was so impressed when i Reviewed the Flip 4 a few weeks ago.
So is the JBL Pulse 3 bluetooth speaker worth the money, or is it any over priced Lava Lamp?

As the name implies The JBL Pulse 3 is the third version of JBL's Pulse line up.
A Bluetooth speaker with built in LED's that flash to the beat of your music.
The JBL Pulse 3 went through a drastic redesign that I personally really like.
You can get it in 2 colors, black or white and personally I prefer the black version
cause I feel it gives the illusion of the light show just floating in mid air.
But the white version wont be available until September.
This speaker currently retails for $199.95, if you want to pick this speaker up I'll
have links in the description below and I'll keep them updated so you can get the best
deal possible.
Like i said earlier, the JBL Pulse 3 has a very different design from its predecessors
the Pulse 2 and OG Pulse.
The JBL Pulse 2 and OG Pulse were just basically a bigger Flip 3 that just so happened to have
LED's underneath.
The new Pulse 3 still has that familiar cylindrical design and has passive bass radiators on the
top and bottom and soft touch end caps that we've come to expect from JBL.
But it now has an acrylic top that makes up 75% of the speaker and houses the LED's.
The lower portion of the speaker now has that tight weaved mesh that also houses the drivers.
On the back of the device you'll find the power button, and volume buttons.
underneath the power button there are a few LED's that act as a battery gauge.
The triangle serves as a multi purpose button so you can control your music but you cant
go back a track, you can activate siri by pressing and holding the triangle button,
and you can answer or end calls.
theres also a button so you can control the Light show, you can turn it off or cycle through
different light patterns, and JBL's Connect Plus button so you can pair up to 100 JBL
connect plus enabled devices which sucks cause i wanted to pair 101 JBL speakers together.
and under the rubber grommet you'll find a micro USB port for charging and an Auxiliary
jack.
Seems like JBL doesn't have the courage to remove the Aux jack from their devices like
Apple did.
Is that joke played out?
i don't know, tell me in the comments below.
But with all jokes aside i appreciate the Aux jack, so JBL keep doing what you're doing.
Concerning specs, the JBL Pulse 3 is using bluetooth 4.2 and can connect to 2 devices
simultaneously.
Wireless range on the Pulse 3 is pretty good as well, it has no problem keeping a clear
connection through multiple walls and its good for around 70 feet with direct line of
sight and noting in the way between the speaker and your phone.
And during my testing I didn't experience any choppiness.
Just like the JBL Flip 4 the Pulse 3 is now IPX7 certified.
Which means its water proof.
You can splash it, submerge it in water down to 3 feet and it'll be fine.
While the JBL Pulse 2 was only splash proof.
And unlike the JBL Flip 4, the Pulse 3 Floats which makes getting it out of the water a
lot easier.
I do want to point out that when i first saw pictures of the Pulse 3 online I thought the
top portion was going to be fragile cause I assumed it was made out of glass.
But its actually a really hard plastic and I've dropped it few times accidentally and
its had no problems.
Over all this speaker is durable and you can take it with you almost any where, but keep
in mind the plastic top will get scratched if you're too rough on it.
When it comes to the JBL Pulse 3 vs the JBL Pulse 2, I really like how they updated and
streamlined the design it genuinely looks better.
And the light feature looks much more fluid on the Pulse 3 than on the Pulse 2.
The Pulse 3 is now significantly bigger than the Pulse 2 and its even a little bigger than
the Charge 3.
The JBL Pulse 3 no longer has the color matching sensor like the Pulse 2.
But it still has the same color matching feature.
you just have to go into the JBL app and you can copy the color of anything you'd like
with your phone's camera.
Its fun to play with but this isn't a feature I really used a lot with my pulse 2.
One of the biggest issues i had with the pulse 2 is that it was always hard to know which
button you were pressing on the back unless you were actually looking them cause all of
the buttons are flush and in a straight line.
The JBL Pulse 3's buttons are also flush but its new layout makes it much easier to
know which button you're pressing just by touch.
But I still wish the Pulse 3 had textured buttons like the Flip 4.
Battery life has also been improved on the Pulse 3 from the Pulse 2.
The JBL Pulse 2 was usually only good for around eight or nine hours of play back with
the light featured turned on.
Not bad from the advertised 10 hours JBL claimed.
The JBL Pulse 3 on the other hand has an advertised battery life of 12 hours but in my testing
i got around 13 hours of play back time with the light feature turned on.
And if you play music on the JBL pulse 3 with the light feature turned off you should be
able to get around 15 hours of playback time.
And you can charge the Pulse 3 via a micro USB cable and wall adapter JBL has included.
The Sound quality has also been vastly improved on the Pulse 3 from the Pulse 2.
The JBL Pulse 2 only shoots out music in one direction.
The JBL Pulse 3 is now a 360 degree speaker, and it sounds really good.
For starters this thing has a lot of bass and the sound stage is much wider than the
Pulse 2.
The mid and highs are very crisp, I haven't noticed any tinning in the highs and theres
very little distortion or raspiness when the volume is set all the way up.
In general this is a really good sounding speaker.
The Pulse 3 has no problem filling a bed room and it covers a good area if listening to
it out doors.
But for the best sound I would put the Pulse 3 in a corner.
Like i mentioned earlier the JBL Pulse 3 now also has JBL Connect Plus.
Aside from being able to pair up to 100 JBL Speakers together you can also pair two JBL
Pulse 3 speakers together and have them play music in stereo mode and even have the light
shows sync up.
Having JBL Connect Plus means you'll be able to pair other JBL connect plus enabled devices
like the Flip 4 and future JBL speakers together and have them play music from the same device
simultaneously.
Its good if you want to fill a larger area with music.
But as of right now you cant pair the Pulse 3 or Flip 4 to older speakers using JBL Connect,
I've heard about an update thats supposed to come out but i haven't been able to pair
my Pulse 3 to my Pulse 2 or Charge 3.
If I'm doing it wrong please comment down below.
JBL's mobile app for their speakers is among the best.
Set up is easy and you can do things like manage settings, check your battery status,
and manage multiple speakers if you have them paired together.
You don't really have to use it that often.
But JBL's app is a little different for the Pulse 3 and Pulse 2.
JBL's connect app also allows you to play with the light feature of your Pulse 3.
For starters you can adjust the brightness and obviously the brightness of the light
feature will play a roll in the speaker's battery life.
You can also cycle through the different light settings.
They all flash to the beat of your music but they each do so a little differently.
Theres wave, Jet, explosion, equalizer, Rave, Rainbow, fire, and you can even make you're
own.
And you can change the color of each setting either through color matching with your camera
or you can use the color wheel.
And if you flip the Pulse 3 upside-down the light feature will orient it self.
Personally my favorite light setting is either Jet or explosion, but comment below and tell
me which light setting you like best.
The microphone on the JBL Pulse 3 is also decent.
you can take a phone call and talk normally if you're within a 5 or 7 foot radius of
the device.
Over all the wait was worth it for the JBL Pulse 3.
If you're considering upgrading from the Pulse 2 to JBL Pulse 3 I think you should.
Aside from now being a 360 degree speaker the Pulse 3 sounds much better over all.
It sounds clearer, theres very little distortion and theres a whole lot more bass.
The battery life has also been improved and its now IPX 7 certified.
And not to mention the light show looks way better.
But like i said earlier i do wish it had raised buttons so its easier to know what you're
pressing.
And I wish there was a USB out so i could charge my phone if i had to.
But in general, I think you'll be really happy if you decide to pick up the JBL Pulse 3 regardless.

Hey everybody, just a quick video I'm in my car waiting for my son to get out of band
camp.
And I'm going to put my finger in my ear like I'm talking on the phone.
Because I got people looking at me.
I'm at the school where I taught at for so many years, so I want to make sure they don't
think I've really lost my mind.
So, I just wanted you to know that I am still around I know I said there would be lots of
videos up.
But we had vacation, I had a little bout of some problems, and so we been kind of chasing
our tails lately.
I had a video and I uploaded it and somehow there was no audio.
No audio, just me talking.
I went ahead and deleted that, so the problem is after I upload to YouTube, I delete the
videos so they don't use up all my memory.
I don't have a copy of that video to upload and it was just about the 4th of July and
celebrations and things like that so, I think we'll be alright until next year.
And so I just wanted to let you know that I will be back up and around soon.
I want to tell you about vacation and talk about traveling with cognitive impairment.
I also want to, still want to do a video on the 10 things not to say to people with
chronic illnesses.
Working on that, that one is taking awhile because I did some research on that one.
So, in the meantime I just wanted to touch base and let you know that everything's okay
and I've just been slow on the uptake.
Also our internet has been down for 2 weeks now and with a promise it was going to be
fixed in June then no, now it will be August, so we will see.
Things are not getting uploaded, because we have no internet.
I'm on data right now.
So I'm going to try to get this up and then hopefully they will get everything straightened
up.
And we will have internet before long.
