Youtube daily report Aug 9 2017

Hi bass players i hope you guys are alright

and welcome to his video wich is the first part of a series of video where i will be presenting you many fingering exercises

in this first video all the exercises are oriented to begginers

but intermediate bass players can find some useful information in this video

The target of most bass players is to play fast

but we must take notice that to achieve that level of skill ,first we need to work on 2 points

the first point is the precision and the second is the strenght

with precision i mean that we must play the frets of the bass in a specific place to get a good sound out of it

and with strength i mean that we must press the strings with a enough good level of force in order to make them sound good

for example if we play a fast lick or phrase

each one of this movements must be executed with flawless precision and with enough strength in order to get a good sound out of our bass

so we the exercises that we are going to learn in this video we are going to work our precision and our strenght on the left hand

and with the right hand we are going to work two points, first we a re going to pluck the strings using this 2 fingers

always in an alternated way

sometimes happens, and it is normal (at least it happens to me) that we pluck the string twice with the same finger

but we must focus on avoiding this and keep this pattern

the second point that we are going to work on and that i had explain in the previous video is the floating thumb technique

So let us start with the first exercise

This exercise that is very simple and the everybody knowns

but i want to explain it because a have seen a lot of beginners bass players which play it in a wrong way for example

in tis example we can see and listen

that the notes are sounding very short

and besides that the point of this exercise which is to strengthen our left hand is being totally dumped

in order to independice the fingers of the left hand we need to have good flexiblility on them and besides that with need to have strong fingers

and by playing this exercise in the wrong way we will be losing any benefit that we can get from it

so the right way to play is this one

first we must play every note with our finger pressing the strings right before the frets

and second we ar egonna play it in this way

we are gonna play the first fret with the index finger

and without releasing the pressure on the index finger we are gonna play the second fret with our middle finger

and without releasing the pressure on the middle finger we are gonna play the third fret with our ring finger

and without releasing the pressure on the ring finger we are gonna play the fourth fret with our pinky finger

so we will have this exercise

by playing this exercise keeping the pressure of the finger right before we will be strengthening our left hand in an efficient way

we are going to play this exercise in this way

adn we keep going across the fretboard

this exercise and all the exercises that we are going to see in this video we will play them through the whole fretboard

another thing is that all this exercises must no be played focusing on speed, we must focus on strengthen our left hand and play them with good technique

this exercise and any fingering exercise can be very exhausting for our hand

if you are playing and you get to that point where your hand hurts a lot, stop for a moment shake your hand so it can relax

and when you feel your hand rested get back to practice

when it comes to fingering exercises the rule "no pain no gain" does not apply

if you are practicing for long time and you are feeling a lot of pain and discomfort in your hand the better choice is to stop playing

and resume your playing later of the next day (sometimes you need to rest 2 or 3 days)

because if you keep playing even though you are feeling a lot of pain what you are gonna gain is an injury on the ligaments of your hand

well once we master this ascending movement

we are going to play the exercise in a descending way

in this case we are going to start with the pinky finger and we are gonna play it this way

in this previous exercise we kept the pressure of the fret righ before

in this exercise we can not do that, but what we can do is to keep the pressure of the fret that we play first until we play the next one

in this way we also be Strengthening our left hand

and we keep playing through the whole fretboard

once we mastered this 2 exercises (ascending and descending way) we are going to combined them

first we are going to play in the ascending way and then we are going to come back in the descending way

and we keep playing through the whole fretboard

now that we have mastered this exercise with are going to play a variation of it

we are gonna play in an ascending way but as we move through the strings we a re gonna move one fret up

and when we get to this point we will come back in the descending way

and we keep playing through the whole fretboard

once we mastered this exercises let us continue with this one

like the exercises we see before with are gonna play the first fret of the G string with the index finger and right after we are gonna play the second fret with the middle finger

but we are going to do this 2 times (keeping the pressure on the index finger)

then without releasing the pressure of the middle finger we will play the third fret with the ring finger 2 times

then without releasing the pressure of the ring finger we will play the fourth fret with the pinky finger 2 times

so we got this exercise

and we keep playing through the whole fretboard

next let us play another exercise this time we are gonna change things a little bit

we are gonna play the first fret of the G string with our index finger

and without releasing the pressure of the index finger we are gonna play the third fret with our ring finger

then we release this 2 fingers and we play the second fret with the middle finger

and without releasing the pressure of the middle finger we are gonna play the fourth fret with the pinky finger

so we got this exercise

next we are gonna play this exercise in a descending way

we are gonna play the fourth fret with our pinky finger

next we play the second fret with our middle finger

and without releasing the pressure of the middle finger we are gonna play the third fret with our ring finger

next we release this 2 finger and we play the first fret with the index finger

so we got this exercise

once we have mastered this exercise both ascending and descending way let us combined them and we will get the next exercise

and to finish let us play a variation of this exercise, just like the previous exercise

we will be moving through the strings in an ascending way and as we keep moving we will move up one fret

and when we get to this point we will go back in a descending way

well friends this has been all for the moment, i thank you a lot for watching this video

and i hope that it has been useful to you

if it was i ask you the favor to give a thumbs up, share it and subscribed to my channel

in the next video i will be presenting to you more fingering exercises

once again thanks a lot and see you next time

INLINE SKATING FLOW - PREPARATION FOR THE 2017 BERLIN MARATHON // VLOG 138 - Duration: 10:40.

microphone al good . Olá YouTube my name is Ricardo Lino and

it's also Women's Day and it's a bit windy like last week about last week I

got this email from power size and I'm going to ask I'm going to have some work

to do in Europe more specifically in Barcelona I can't really tell you what

it is yet but without happening at about the same time as the Berlin Marathon I'm

going to I'm going to make the Berlin Marathon - I haven't done a marathon in

a while so the trees

I haven't been American in a while but about 18 years ago I was Portuguese

long-distance champion a few times but think the problem for me is a lot of

things change and my speech nowadays let's say that they're not the same so

hopefully I can do for it okay with my not so healthy speech

and finish it properly anyway I have been a client of Linda marathon

and doing a live feed of the marathon I know a lot of my friends will be making

these Berlin Marathon so I think it's going to be a cool thing for you guys so

thing is if you're not subscribe to the channel maybe do it click that fell on

the side and then you'll get a notification when I do a a live eat that

live feed should be done well let me show how fast I'm going

see that divorced

and sadly think this

I don't know if you realize I'm using the case copper I know that a lot of

I decided on keeping it and you know what I ended up utilizing that it's

actually quite a cool thing to a freshly you're going to use them to go in

Pandemonium and Carceri - D&D Lore - Duration: 7:17.

Hello everybody Jorphdan here the PH is silent.

This week we're discussing the Chaotic Neutral and Evil realms of Pandemonium and Carceri.

Now in between these two planes is the Abyss, but I've covered the Abyss in an earlier

separate video.

You can check that out via the link above or in the description below.

Pandemonium is an underground realm.

It is a place of howling, screaming winds.

A realm of stygian darkness.

It is where sanity is besieged by unending madness.

Pandemonium to me… is terrifying.

It's completely underground, the entire plane has no surface only tunnels.

It's pitch black due to being underground.

Caverns are cut into this earth by the destructive force of wind.

These caves are linked together with tunnels and the wind howls constantly.

The wind blows so fiercely that it extinguishes normal fires, and lights that last longer

draw attention of wights driven insane by the constant howling wind.

The wind is so loud and consistence that every conversation in Pandemonium is a scream or

a shout.

Which then your words are taken by the wind and carried throughout the plane.

While standing there you are berated by the constant howl and muffled screams of past

adventurers and creatures that spent time in Pandemonium.

The wind is cold and steals the heat from travelers unprotected from it's endless gale.

Blowing sand and dirt into their eyes, snuffing torches, and carrying away loose items.

In some places the wind can physically lift you up and throw you a fair distance before

you are slammed into the rock walls.

Gravity is relative here, any rock wall could be considered the ground.

Gravity is oriented towards whatever wall a creature is nearest, so there isn't a

floor per se, nor a ceiling, any surface is a floor if you're close enough.

It truly is a place of madness, a great mass of rock riddled with tunnels with no natural

inhabitants.

Any creatures found here are those banished to this plane with no hope of escape, driven

mad by the incessant winds.

There are four layers on Pandemonium, and terrible windstorms can blow through them all.

Pandesmos is the first layer and has the largest caverns.

Some big enough to hold entire nations.

Various streams of frigid water flow between caverns which are all Tributaries of the River

Styx.

There are creatures here that have made citadels and some other semi organized buildings.

Making it a somewhat safer place for would-be travelers.

But beware because any such area of people are almost guaranteed to have the majority

of their populace be insane.

Cocytus is second and the tunnels here tend to be much smaller than the first layer.

This allows the winds to become even stronger.

The tunnels here appear to be hand chiseled, if this is true such an undertaking occurred

so long ago no-one is able to recall who or what did the tunneling.

In the center of Cocytus stands Howler's Crag.

A jagged spike of piled stones as if a giant's palace had collapsed on itself.

On top is an eight foot platform with a low wall surrounding it.

The ones who make their home in Pandemonium say that anything yelled from the top of the

crag finds the ears of the intended recipient.

No matter where they are in the great wheel.

The third layer is known as Phlegethon.

The unrelenting noise of dripping water meshes with the howling winds in these twisting tunnels.

Unlike the rest of Pandemonium normal gravity exists here which gives rise to stalagmites

and stalactites.

There is a large city here called Windglum that sits in a cavern several miles wide and

long.

Hundreds of ever-burning globes provide light for the city.

The people here do not trust strangers and many are insane.

Travelers can find a brief rest here from the relenting wind storms of Pandemonium.

Finally the last layer is Agathion.

Very narrow constricting tunnels filled with stale air that lead to an infinite number

of closed off spaces.

The portals that connect Agathion to the rest of Pandemonium open into otherwise unreachable

bubbles.

Unless you aware of a specific portal many of these spaces are unknown to anyone.

Because of this deities have used this plane as vaults for their most precious treasures.

You'll find numerous underground dwelling races in Pandemonium, as well as no-name demons

making their homes here.

Occasionally a demon lord-in-exile will use Pandemonium as a hiding place, consolidating

and rebuilding their power to return to the Abyss.

Up next the Tarterian depths of Carceri.

A plane of exile, a prison for the multiverse.

Carceri appears the least overtly dangerous of the lower planes, but that first impression

quick disappears upon visiting.

Unlike Pandemonium, the Abyss, or the Nine Hells there are no seas of acid, biting cold,

infernos of heat, or sulfuric atmospheres.

However this plane is a place of darkness and despair, a poison of the mind takes place

here where hatred runs like a deep, slow-moving river.

It truly is a prison planet, where traitors and backstabbers go, or rather are banished.

A prisoner on Carceri may only escape when he/she has become stronger than whatever imprisoned

them there.

Carceri is the land of exiles, the place where the outcast, the overthrown, and the defeated

fume and plot for the day when they'll return.

Carceri is called the six-fold realm because it has six layers nested like little wooden

dolls, one inside the other.

Each layer has a series of orbs like tiny planets, in a row.

Then they go further extending out into infinity.

The layers radiate their own light, a dull reddish glow like that of a fire beetle.

Yet the glow gives off no heat.

Many portals lead to Carceri, but these are one way.

Almost none allow access out of Carceri with one exception, the River Styx which runs through

the first layer of Carceri and leads to Hades.

Othyrus, the first layer is a realm of bogs and quicksand.

The River Styx runs freely here, saturating the ground with magic.

Where the river isn't present great swamps exist, with rare patches of dry ground.

The 2nd layer is Cathrys which is covered in a wretched jungle.

The stench of decay fills the air fueled by the acidic secretions of the jungle plants.

The air here deals 1d4 points of acid damage per minute.

Minethys, the third layer is filled with sand.

Whipped up by the wind, it has great destructive power.

Capable of stripping a creature down to it's bones in a matter of hours.

All who dwell here cover themselves in cloth garments to block out the stinging sand.

Colothys is the fourth layer, a mountainous region of rough cruel peaks.

Travel on foot here is almost impossible because the land is divided up by canyons miles deep.

However there are trade routes that have become safer paths.

Porphatys, the fifth layer is filled with a cold shallow ocean fed by black snow.

The snow and water are mildly acidic dealing 1d6 acid damage every 10 minutes of exposure.

Boats and other artificial structures don't last long here, but there are small islands

scattered about the realm.

Finally Agathys, the coldest layer and also the lowest.

A sphere of black ice streak with red.

The air bites at adventurers.

A large black citadel carved out of ice stands here, home to the greater deity Nerull.

A Greyhawk deity of murder and death.

And that's it for today.

I think Pandemonium would be an excellent choice for a teleport spell gone awry.

I'm looking forward to putting it in a game at some point as a transit hub for planar

travel.

I love how chaotic and spooky it is.

Stay tuned next week for Hades and Gehenna, and if you want the full package check out

my video on the Abyss.

That's it for now, I'll see you all next Wednesday.

4 Refreshing Summer Treats (I like to eat at home!) - Duration: 6:04.

Hey everyone, Dana here!

And in this video it's all about some of my easy summer favorites that I make at home.

And we're starting with a super easy summer favorite to "make": watermelon!

This is really easy because, yeah, you basically just cut up the pieces of watermelon, and

voila, you have summer favorite number one to make at home: watermelon.

But I actually add a second step to it.

But don't worry, this one is also a super easy step.

I like to sprinkle a little bit of salt on my watermelon pieces.

The saltiness of the salt on the watermelon, I feel like it just kind of amplifies the

sweet taste of the watermelon.

So I just take the salt, sprinkle a little salt on there - only on my half, not on Mr. German Man's half

because he does not eat watermelon with salt on it.

And then...Mmmh!

It tastes so good! There's not a lot of salt on it. You know, I didn't, like, drench it in salt.

But it's just a little bit of salt to help, yeah, draw out that sweetness, the natural

sweetness in the watermelon.

In the first summer favorites video, I had an Eiskaffee, but now I've got an iced coffee.

Which is cold coffee, some ice cubes, a little bit of frothed milk in there, and, of course,

just a little bit of sugar on top.

I really enjoy the Eiskaffee here in Germany.

It's decadent and amazing with the ice cream and the whipped cream and the chocolate syrup.

But, exactly, it's decadent. And after I eat it, even though it's got that coffee and the

caffeine in it, I kind of feel like I need a bit of a nap, after eating something so heavy.

Whereas for more of like an every day thing, I really love the iced coffee in the summer.

It's light and refreshing, and I really enjoy it when I'm editing my videos or working on

new scripts or new ideas, and it's just a nice, light drink for

in the afternoon during the summer.

I love ice pops, especially on such a super hot day like today.

And especially when they're homemade.

So to make these ice pops, I bought frozen strawberries and frozen raspberries and then

I defrosted them and pushed out the juice through a strainer.

And then re-froze the juice to make these ice pops.

That is so good! That is so delicious.

It is cool and refreshing and it's not too sweet, and it's perfect for a day like today.

And it's exciting because I get to be like, you know, I made this.

And, yeah, that's kind of the best.

To make a basic lemonade, I don't use a lot of ingredients.

Just lemons, water and sugar.

And I combine the water and sugar in a pot on the stove and boil it into a simple syrup.

Also, I use a juicer to make getting the juice out of the lemons easier and a pitcher to

put it all in at the end.

Simple syrup is just basically equal parts sugar and water brought to a boil on the stove

until all the sugar dissolves.

But for this batch of lemonade, it's a little yellow in color because I also put lemon rind

in with the mixture as it came to a boil, and then took it out after it had all cooled

down, just to add a little bit of extra lemon flavor in there.

Once all the lemons are cut and juiced, I add everything together into the pitcher,

but I don't really use any exact measurements for my lemonade, so I just add a little bit

of water, a little bit of simple syrup, a little water, a little syrup, and give it

a taste as I go.

And when it tastes good, then it's done.

And for me, lemonade is just such a refreshing summer drink.

I've been drinking lemonade since I was a kid, and, yeah, it's just, it's still something

that I really enjoy having during the warm summer months.

Road to the World Cup #5: Will I make it? (661 days left) - Duration: 4:39.

ONE WEEK EARLIER...

'The Road to the World Cup'

Episode 5: Balls or Grass - 661 days left

Hey everyone, and welcome back to another episode of 'The Road to the World Cup'

It's been a while since I uploaded one of these

And I think you might understand why that is

The Dutch women have won the European title

And amazing as that was...

...when the tournament was over, that only meant one thing for me

The 2019 World Cup really is the next big tournament

And the first qualifying match for the Dutch women is planned for October 24th

Which just happens to be my birthday

In this episode I briefly wanted to tell you how it's going

And answer the question I get asked more and more often:

Am I going to make it?

Pleun once again prepared some cool dilEmmas for me, that I will answer at the end

Let's begin

You just cut me off, ma'am...

To start with the first question:

How is it going, on the road to the World Cup?

I honestly can't complain!

After a long summer break, we've finally started again at VC Moldavo

Which is of course great

The World Cup is coming closer and closer

Sometimes it's hard not to freak out over that

The best thing I can do is just train, train, train

Try my very best at Moldavo...

We'll see what happens!

Oh, I'm so tired

*such an athlete*

And then the question I get asked more and more often

And rightfully so, by the way

Am I going to make it?

What I usually tell people is: it's possible

Is it a realistic goal to have? No, but it wasn't realistic from the moment Istarted

Is it possible?

If I keep working extremely hard

And everything goes my was

And I don't get injured and I have all the luck in the world

It's possible. But that, for me, is enough to keep trying.

Recently, mainly on Twitter, I received some questions about how I log my training

So I wanted to show you that today

I do that in this cute book

And basically, this is just a training journal, in which I keep track

How I feel, how much I slept, what I did, so I can look it up later

And at the end of every month I have a page

In which I can see what I did and when, thanks to these lovely coloured squares

Also on Twitter, I've recently seen many videos in the spirit of

'A day in the life of a professional player'

I always find them very interesting to watch. You might know, I'm not a pro player yet

I go to school, and I play football in Belgium

What people often don't realise is what it takes to live

'A day in the life of a wannabe professional player'

Well Pleun, you wrote this before WEURO2017...

The first one has already come true

That only leaves one option for me to choose!

Waking up with Dutch party music or going to bed with heavy metal?

Going to bed with heavy metal because I sincerely hate Dutch party music

I know it's almost illegal here in the south to dislike that kind of music...

Still I'd rather have heavy metal

I don't have to choose

How Do I Hear the Voice of God? | The Weekly - Duration: 3:40.

- How do I hear the voice of God?

What's up, everybody?

This is Pastor Chad, and I wanna try to help you out

with one of the most important questions

a Christian can ever ask.

Have you ever had a season of your life

where you're asking the Lord for wisdom,

you're asking the Lord for direction,

and it just seems like He is not saying anything?

You've been praying, you've been seeking Him,

you've been asking Him to tell you something,

but for whatever reason,

He just seems painfully, painfully quiet.

Or maybe you know some people

that have said things like this:

"I just can't believe in the Lord

"until He says something to me," or

"It would be so much easier for me to believe in God

"if I could just hear His voice."

Today, what I wanna do is share with you three practices,

three spiritual disciplines that will help us

as Christians hear the voice of god better.

The first spiritual practice I have

for you today is this: reading the scriptures.

2 Timothy 3:16 says that...

That you and I as believers would be equipped

with everything we need to walk in righteousness.

Now, if that's true, if the Bible really is breathed out

by God, then this is God's direct communication to us.

These pages are literally God's words to us.

They're exactly what He wants us to know about Him,

and they're exactly what He wants

us to know about ourselves, and here's what's cool

about reading through the Word of God.

The more you spend time in the scriptures,

letting the Bible speak to you,

the more you start to learn what God's voice sounds like.

You start to learn what it feels like when God

is speaking to you and kind of pressing upon your heart.

Now, you may say, "Chad, that's just a convenient answer.

"Why can't God just speak to us directly?"

Well, all throughout the Bible,

when God speaks to people directly,

they absolutely freak out, and the one time God

did show up here on earth in a human body

to speak to us, we ended up killing Him.

So maybe there's a little bit of grace in God revealing

Himself and speaking to us through the scriptures.

One of the best ways you can learn the voice

of God is through the Bible.

The second way that you can learn to hear the voice

of God is through prayer, and here's what I mean by this.

1 Samuel 3:10, the prophet Samuel, praise to the Lord.

He says, "Lord, speak, for your servant is listening."

I know for me personally, oftentimes in prayer,

I'm so quick to just lay out all

of the things that are on my mind,

and there's a good and right time for that,

but I think prayer, and I think the Bible, also,

is going to show that prayer should be a time where

we listen and where we ask the Lord to speak to us.

King Solomon in Ecclesiastes 5 says,

"When we go near to God, let's not be hasty with our words,

"but let's take time to slow down and listen to them."

So maybe it's tough for us to hear from the Lord because we

just are so busy and are losing the practice of listening.

The third practice that I have for you today is this:

seek out wise council.

Seek out godly men and women that can speak

into your life and help you discern what

the voice of God is trying to tell you.

If you've got a big decision, if you've got something

heavy weighing on your mind, find some brothers and sisters

in Christ that you trust that will direct you in a wise way.

I know for me personally, the Lord has spoken

through conversations and through wise council,

so I submit these three things to you today.

I hope they're helpful.

Spend time in the scriptures, spend time in prayer,

seek out wise council, and you'll start

to learn what the voice of God sounds like.

Thank you guys for checking this out.

I hope this is helpful, and we'll see you soon.

DIY Anthropologie Wall Hanging - KayleyMelissa - Duration: 4:56.

(upbeat music)

- Hey guys, Kayley here.

I'm back with another DIY because you guys have been

asking for them so I decided today, I'm gonna go

the home decor route.

Montage.

(upbeat music)

I took inspiration from Anthropologie because

I found these wall hangings there that were

$100 and $200 dollars each.

I mean, what?

So I decided to remake those for under $20 each.

And, bonus, it took me less than an episode of Friends for

each of these to create these less than $200 masterpieces.

I hope you guys enjoy, let's get into it.

I'm gonna start with the basic.

For your base you will need a 12 inch ring,

which you can find on Amazon.

Yarn in the color and texture of your choice,

and scissors.

For step one, start by folding a piece of yarn next to

your ring and decide how long you want your strands to be.

Cut that piece and use it as a guide to cut about

25 pieces in total.

I don't really worry about being super precise

with the lengths, because I like the ends to have

kind of a natural tapered look to them.

Now you're gonna fold your yarn in half and you're

ready to tie it to the ring.

You're gonna create a knot by wrapping the fold of the yarn

over the ring, and tucking the ends through the loop.

Continue adding the loops until all of your yarn

is on the ring.

I think it helps to prop up one side of the ring

so you don't have to keep picking it up

every time you tie a new piece,

so I used a little bit of the yarn to hold it up.

Once you've tied all the yarn, take a look at the ends

and make sure everything looks good.

Sometimes there are a couple of stray long hairs

that I have to cut so that everything works.

And that's it.

You can always play with different lengths or colors,

even add a braid in.

It's all up to you and your imagination.

And I think even the least crafty among you

can pull this one off.

Now onto the arcs.

For this you're going to start with the steps

from our first wall hanging.

I kept the yarn on this one a little on the short side

and I used about 30 pieces of yarn.

Then you'll need an 8 inch ring, and optionally

some ribbon or leather cord and wooden beads.

We're gonna start by adding the second ring.

You're gonna grab about 14 inches more of yarn

or you can choose to add in a new texture

and I'm using some leather cord.

Start by tying a half knot, leaving a tiny tail

and align the tail with the rings.

Then wrap all of that together.

At the end of the wrap, tie another half knot

on the back of the rings as tight as you can.

And cut off the tail.

If you want, you can add a little glue for extra security.

Now this is super optional but if you want,

grab some string and tie it to the top of the ring

just like we did with the yarn.

Then shimmy it a little, so it hides in the cracks

of the wrap we just did.

Then add a few beads onto it, and knot the string

a few inches up from that.

Cut off the extra ends, and you're done.

I really like how stylish and expensive this looks.

It looks like ones that I've seen for $100

but this one cost me less than $15 to make.

And now we're onto our fringed wall hanging.

For this one, you will need a 14 inch ring,

a 2 1/2 inch dowel which you can pick up

at any craft store.

Two colors of yarn, scissors, and glue.

First you're gonna place the dowel

where you would like your first layer of fringe to sit.

Then cut it to size.

I'm not fancy so I just used my kitchen scissors.

Optionally you can paint or stain the dowels in any color

you like, but I decided to leave them natural.

Now you're gonna cut your yarn.

For the top I'm using this cream color and for the bottom

I'm using a darker, cozy gray.

For the top I measured each piece about 24 inches long

and I used 22 pieces.

And for the bottom I made them slightly longer

at 28 inches long and I did 30 pieces.

Now all that's left is to knot the yarn.

Knot the shorter yarn onto your top dowel using

the same loop and pull method that I showed you earlier.

Then repeat the same thing with the longer yarn

on the second dowel.

And to finish everything off, grab a bit of glue

and glue down the bottom dowel first.

Hot glue is always the easiest way to go,

but you could also use E6000 for some really strong hold.

And then glue down your second dowel a little farther up,

and you're done.

I love the split level on this one.

You can mix up any color combo to fit your style.

It looks amazing and it comes together pretty quickly.

There you go.

Three inexpensive ways to make some beautiful wall art.

I feel like if you like braiding hair,

tying knots isn't far behind that.

So I hope you guys try it out, send me pictures if you do.

And let me know in the comments what other DIYs

you'd like to see next.

And that's it for today's tutorial,

check back on Saturday for another hair tutorial,

and be sure and click that subscribe button

so you never miss a video

and I'll see at my next one.

Bye!

EtherCAT Relay Module IO Block - KEB America - Duration: 1:51.

KEB's EtherCAT relay module is the

most recent addition to our I/O family.

The module is used to interface with

both 120 volt and 230 volt AC field wiring.

Typically a power contactor is

signaled by a pilot or control relay.

Traditionally the pilot relay is

connected to an I/O module which then

receives signals from a push-button,

a sensor, or via the PLC. The signal going

through the pilot relay will trigger the

contactor to turn the load on and off.

KEB's relay module combines the function

of an I/O module and DIN-mounted pilot relay.

When multiple loads are required

you save significant space on the DIN rail

by removing pilot relays and

consolidating up to eight loads into a

single module. Similar to other KEB I/O

blocks the relay module measures

only 25mm wide and has pluggable connectors.

It is DIN rail-mounted

and mechanically locks into other

modules for a secure connection.

The I/O signals communicate from the C6 Smart to

the relay module through a high-speed

EtherCAT backbone. KEB's EtherCAT

relay module features eight Form A

normally open contacts. The contacts are

rated two amps each for inductive loads

and five amps each for resistive loads

The relay module is UL-listed and

available for immediate sale.

I was in awe of what I did. Let me show you

Isn't that cool?

I didn't realize how aggressive I was with hearing people.

I used either facial expression or a body language.

This is my way of communicating with hearing people.

What about you guys?

RuneScape Dev Diaries: Invention Batch 2 - Duration: 6:52.

Hi, everyone.

Welcome to this Invention Batch 2 second Dev Diary.

I'm mod Deg.

I'm mod Erator.

And I'm mod Tomb.

DEV DIARIES - ENTRY 2 INVENTION BATCH 2

We want to talk to you about batch 2,

even though a little while ago we announced the cancellation of expansions

and that we're moving away from that model.

Invention batch 2 is still going ahead, even though that was going to be part of one of those expansions.

We want to let you know where we are at, our progress.

We're still working on it.

And talk about some of the feedback that we've taken on board from you guys

from the previous Dev Diary.

So, as a refresher, what are we planning for Invention batch 2?

What are the bullet points?

Originally we said 99 to 120 content.

We're looking at new devices for that.

We're also looking at introducing this idea of machines.

And also level 10 plus benefits.

All of those things are still happening. We haven't changed that at all.

We're still going ahead with all of these new devices and machines and whatnot.

Now, it's not part of an expansion.

Are there any changes that we're making to our plans for Invention?

Now we've got a lot more time to do Invention.

We've addressed loads of quality of life fixes,

based on lots of player pain points.

We're removing inspiration and making a few devices stackable gizmos and stuff like that.

And lots of other fixes.

So why are we removing inspiration?

One of the core reasons we're removing inspiration is it's quite a big player pain point.

Whenever we'd add a new inspiration item to the game,

the players wouldn't be allowed to get that as soon as they possibly could.

They'd have to get the inspiration, then unlock the item.

Not as soon as they wanted to, as it was.

And inspiration, when the skill was first released, accomplished what it wanted to do.

But as we got further and further on, inspiration became more of a tricky game to play

rather than actually a fun player experience.

Some players as well stockpiled inspiration by not unlocking other blueprints.

Because they weren't actually at 200 mil or 120 yet, so they had that buildup. So they had it straight away,

whereas other players that had 200 mill with no inspiration had to do that grind and it didn't seem fair.

We don't want to incentivise people to sit there with lots of blueprints.

Like, things they have done the work for

but they don't want to discover something or they're even scared to discover

because they're worried when a new piece of content is going to come out.

I want to have all of my inspiration stockpiled in case I want that immediately.

That's not a good feel. That's not a good experience.

I think inspiration did its job when the skill was released because it drip-fed all the blueprints into it

but now, as we're expanding that, it's a big limiter.

And I feel like inspiration served its purpose in the game.

How else have you improved my Invention experience?

We looked at the problems with siphoning,

when you're levelling up your items and you accidentally go beyond level 10 if you're disassembling

or level 12 when you're siphoning things.

And the solution we've come up with that is this idea of an autosiphon.

Something that might be wielded in a pocket slot

or just in your inventory, which you can store lots of siphons into,

configure it to work on armour,

weapons, tools, whatever you want,

and you could set the level that you want it to autosiphon.

And then, when your weapon actually reaches that level, let it just do the siphon for you.

So you don't have to worry about "oh, no, I've gone to level 13 or 15 or whatever it is",

because they'll be done for you.

Obviously you have to keep on topping up the siphon itself with new siphons

but it should alleviate that problem altogether.

Another few examples of stuff we've done.

If you mouse over your components, they'll display now what perks those components will generate.

We made gizmo shells stackable

so you can make up to 60 of those at once now really quickly in your inventory.

And we've made tradeable augmentors.

On the previous Dev Diary a couple months ago, we described invention machines

and what their purpose was, how they were going to work.

Sort of a general direction for them.

And since releasing that Dev Diary, we've had dozens of pages

of suggestions and feedback.

How has that changed our plans for machines?

The first thing that we noticed was that we are going along the right lines.

A lot of the suggestions that were coming out for not just machines but devices as well were similar to the ones we had already created

before that Dev Diary had been released.

Which is good for us to know that we're going along that right line.

But, on top of that as well, for the actual changes to machines,

the big thing that came back was that they wanted to be in the guild.

You've got this unknown area of the guild, these boarded up staircases

which players don't know anything about.

They want to explore that.

Obviously this is now going to be the last big update for Invention.

There should be no unanswered questions.

Using that space, putting something there, makes sense.

What was the plan before? What were we originally going to try?

Originally, when it was coming with an expansion,

the players would have had to have gone around to do Invention around the world.

So there would have been, say, a few hotspots in Catherby, a few hotspots in Varrock,

and you would have had to have gone into each of these locations to do your machine management and whatnot.

The players really wanted it to be in the guild.

We want to fulfill that promise and that's where it's going to be.

What other big suggestions do we have outside of machines?

For example, we've got the adrenaline dummy,

which is something that you can build through Invention.

It's similar to the other dummies you get off Treasure Hunter

but it doesn't give you any XP and you can put it down outside of combat.

It'll be something which you bring along with you to your boss fights, in between kills.

You can deploy it, attack it to keep your adrenaline up high,

and then as soon as that boss spawns, you've got an ultimate ready for you already.

There's also a cog toggle.

This is basically allowing players to turn on and off at their will

all the cogs on their augmented items.

So your abyssal whip now with all its cogs will just be a regular abyssal whip.

It will still function as its augmented abyssal whip, with all the benefits, but visually, it won't have its cogs on.

If you're inside a PvP zone, like the Wilderness, it will still have its cogs on,

because there's still that PvP element to that,

but outside of those areas, your free will of how you choose to show your augmented items is now yours.

A lot of people didn't like that big cog on all of their equipment.

It wasn't necessarily particularly pleasing to the eye.

Similar to retro skillcapes,

where you can switch between whether you use 2017 skillcapes versus 1990 skillcapes.

So, in summary, Invention batch 2 is still coming.

We're going to have post-99 content.

We'll have machines.

We're going to have item level benefits

INLINE SKATING FLOW - PREPARATION FOR THE 2017 BERLIN MARATHON // VLOG 138 - Duration: 10:40.

microphone al good . Olá YouTube my name is Ricardo Lino and

it's Wednesday it's national holiday day in South Africa and I'm on my way to work

it's also Women's Day and it's a bit windy like last week about last week I

got this email from power size and I'm going to ask I'm going to have some work

to do in Europe more specifically in Barcelona I can't really tell you what

it is yet but without happening at about the same time as the Berlin Marathon I'm

going to I'm going to make the Berlin Marathon - I haven't done a marathon in

a while so the trees

I haven't been American in a while but about 18 years ago I was Portuguese

long-distance champion a few times but think the problem for me is a lot of

things change and my speech nowadays let's say that they're not the same so

hopefully I can do for it okay with my not so healthy speech

and finish it properly anyway I have been a client of Linda marathon

and doing a live feed of the marathon I know a lot of my friends will be making

these Berlin Marathon so I think it's going to be a cool thing for you guys so

thing is if you're not subscribe to the channel maybe do it click that fell on

the side and then you'll get a notification when I do a a live eat that

live feed should be done well let me show how fast I'm going

the light bead should be done on the 23rd I think the Berlin skating marathon

the on the 23rd of September so stay tuned

my friends Dominic I'm about to get to the traffic light

and Dominic

Domenic think I told you before Dominic is a guy that lives in the street what

is the response how you do it again stealing my way to work

you literally just kind of test nominee what it told me from what he told me

see that divorced

and sadly think this

I don't know if you realize I'm using the case copper I know that a lot of

people hate the case copper including myself in a few weeks

I decided on keeping it and you know what I ended up utilizing that it's

actually quite a cool thing to a freshly you're going to use them to go in

between cars or theme spaces or anything like that that you don't want to turn

morning so as the thing is cool thing all man is

popular here let me just eat the GoPro still recording it is quick cooler okay

so now I'm about to get to the little hill yeah I've done that video like

month and a half ago I made a video boss which will size is perfect what else is

that's here I will try to show you

that's the city center high school now that I'm going fast I want to do my feet

stay there and dress the music good music

katasonych pay here haha I'm trying to do a little bit of a double push going

down that little hill a double push even while you're skating you're not just

doing to strive with the inner edge of your skate but you're also using outside

edge to do that little turn and what is it a little outside edge car you're also

pushing let me show you here

this way I don't get tired as fast cause usually I need to push last time and be

more productive so if you're going to be doing a longer distance thing to learn

I'm a little bit late to the shop miss I'm like five minutes too late

and if you're going to take me I would say about three so today I'm eight

minutes late so if you outside the shop waiting for me I'm sorry about this

morning

we're cool here and the car

something cool I started a patron

that's something that I'm going to do today when I guess the shops studio I'm

going to try to make a a welcome to patreon video so when they get to my

page in which is Del V del V del V dot patreon.com slash Ricardo we know there

will be a welcoming video that video will be unlisted which means that you

won't see it you won't get any notifications unless he was the patron

you want it

the reason why this region is basically thank you guys did the amount of work

the amount of time even the amount of money that I put into this video to

travel materials all those things that you can imagine patient is like a way

for you to support what I do and I stated more than one items of this for

the money I want to see more people skating as the main goal let me show you

the study so I don't do it for the money I do it for the passion that I ask for

this sport and I really want these to grow but again you keen on supporting

this adventure you cannot supporting this channel that

the tent is I'm about to get to the shredded myself about to get in we don't

already maybe thumbs up thumbs on if you don't like it just let me know why you

don't like it like this and yeah check my patron again face accomplished fish

Sinead O'Connor posts tearful video about being mentally ill - Duration: 2:38.

Sinead O'Connor posts tearful video about being mentally ill

A tearful, profanity-laced video of Sinead OConnor discussing her mental illness has fans worried about the singer.

OConnor posted the video on her Facebook page on August 3, but it started to get more attention in the last few days after fans started sharing it.

It has racked up nearly 900,000 views and more than 5,800 shares on Facebook as of Tuesday morning.

In it, the Nothing Compares 2 U singer is seen crying in a motel room and lamenting that her family has abandoned her in the wake of mental health issues.

People who suffer from mental illness are the most vulnerable people on Earth, OConnor said. Youve got to take care of us. Were not like everybody..

Using the hashtag #OneOfMillions, the 50-year-old performer said it was her hope that this video is somehow helpful.

Not actually to me but the fact that I know that Im only one of millions of millions of millions of people who are just like me actually who dont have necessarily the resources that I have in my heart or my purse for that matter, she said.

During the 12-minute long video, OConnor said she was suicidal and feels like she is being punished for having mental illness. The only support she has, she said, is her psychiatrist and her doctor.

Suddenly, all the people who are supposed to be loving you or taking care of you treat you like s*** she said. If it was me, Id be gone straight away back to my mom..

Its not the first time OConnors social media postings has caused alarm. In 2015 she posted on her Facebook page that she had overdosed in the wake of a custody battle involving her youngest son and his father, Irish musician Donal Lunny.

Police later said they had located OConnor and she was safe and sound.. The following year, OConnor was reported missing in Chicago when she did not return from a bike ride, but police found her a day later.

Related: Sinead OConnor found safe. In this latest incident, OConnor followed up the Facebook video with a post the next day that stated the address of a South Hackensack Travelodge motel in New Jersey.

com reported that the establishment has no record of OConnor staying there. Singer Annie Lenox expressed concern for OConnor in her own Facebook statement that was posted on Tuesday.

I realise that Sinead has some serious mental health issues, but she appears to be completely out on a limb and Im concerned for her safety, Lenox wrote.

Are there no close friends or family who could be with her to give her some loving support? Its terrible to see her in such a vulnerable state..

I just watched this truly distressing call for help by Sinead OConnor, from a motel room in New Jersey, where she says theres no one there to help her, with the exception of a psychiatrist and a doctor.
