How to Build Self Discipline - Part II [ENG SUBS] - Duration: 4:43.

Hello Friends,

As you remember, I have made a video for you about how to gain discipline.

At the end of it, there was a self-criticism.

It was about delaying the process.

This time we are speeding things up.

I will give a few quick tips now.

NO SELF DOUBT!

For most of us, the subjects that we are trying to gain self-discipline about are not very complicated or rocket science.

Stuff like losing 10 kg in three months, going to the gym 3-4 days a week which are easily applicable.

If others, ordinary people can do these you can do too.

So never plant a seed of doubt in your mind.

Don't destroy your self-confidence.

"I am not gonna make it" is in fact, an excuse to quit that is made by your lazy mind.

Stick to your plan on a daily basis and don't think about the rest.

You will see that the results you have been waiting for will come eventually on their own.

SURROUND YOUR SELF WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE SELF-DISCIPLINE

Let's say you are on diet,

let there be people around you who will do what it takes upon to the decision they take rather than people who would say things like "just eat it dude".

Some people would like to infect you with their losing attitude

and some people would like to have a partner while they mess things up.

Seeing you reaching your goal will damage their self-confidence.

They want you to quit like they do

Because nobody wants to fail on their own.

Stay away from these people!

Instead of guys who are always willing to quit, keep people who would do anything for their goals.

People shall be your supporters not your obstacles.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT TOOLS FOR YOUR GOAL!

My definition of discipline is to do what is necessary when it is not pleasant to do or there are consequences.

But, that doesn't mean the process has to be agonizing.

Choose the most effective, efficient plan; never waste your time.

Having self-discipline also means being smart.

Let's say you are on a tight schedule,

choose a diet plan which would have longer eating periods rather than a plan which would require you to eat 2 to 3 hours.

For someone who hasn't trained all their life, trying to do high intensity interval training is not discipline, it is stupidity.

Choose the right way for you or get support about it.

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!

The things I talked about till now eventually comes to avoid postponing stuff that you should do.

Sometimes you just have a task ahead for your ultimate goal.

If you have a chance to do it, do it immediately.

Don't wait for the right time, the right moment.

Waiting will only detract you from your goal.

For example, don't wait to get back from the vacation you will go two weeks later before beginning a diet.

Or, don't wait for that perfect morning when you feel very energetic to go out for a run.

Don't forget; the ideal time to do what is necessary is - if there is not an serious obstacle - NOW!

So, stop waiting for the right time!

And get back to business.

TRACK YOURSELF RIGHT!

If you have a long term plan, of course, you should always watch and track the process.

But, no process progresses linearly.

Don't let short term fluctuations or decelerations to withhold you from your plan.

Let's say you are trying to lose weight and it stays the same for the past two weeks.

This shouldn't be an excuse to quit exercising and diet.

Review your mistakes if any.

And do the necessary arrangement.

But don't quit with the thought that you won't make it anyway.

It is not the end of everything if you have lost your discipline every once in a while.

It is to bounce back from your mistake that is important.

Did you succumb to temptation and ate that dessert last night?

You should go on with your diet next day as if it didn't happen.

There is no such thing as "I broke it once, then I will quit totally".

Losing weight, gaining strength...

These are all things that can be accomplished by ordinary people like you and me.

Don't use short term lags as excuses to be lazy.

Look at what is gonna change in the long term and think about what you can do better.

And never forget; doing is more important than thinking.

If you are tired of failing and starting over again, try not quitting once...

TANK, GRAB ANYTHING THEY CAN,

USUALLY SOMETHING THAT LOOKS

LIKE IT'S DEAD AND PIN IT ON,

AND THEN THEY GET DISAPPOINTED

THEY CAN'T CATCH FISH.

THE GUYS THAT ARE REALLY

SUCCESSFUL, THE ANGLERS THAT ARE

SUCCESSFUL SPEND A LITTLE BIT

OF TIME AT THE BAIT TANK.

THEY'RE LOOKING AT THE BAIT

WELLS. THEY'RE LOOKING AT ALL

THE BAIT SWIMMING AROUND THERE.

THEY WANT TO GET ONE THAT'S

SO HARD TO CATCH, THEY HAVE

TO USE BOTH HANDS, THEY'RE

SWIMMING REALLY HARD IN THERE.

THE ONES THAT ARE SWIMMING

THE BEST IN THE BAIT WELL

ARE THE ONES THAT ARE GOING

TO SWIM THE BEST OUT ON THE

WATER RUNNING AWAY FROM THE

TUNA. AND THEY LOOK ATTRACTIVE

TO THE TUNA. THEY'RE GOING

TO COME DOWN, CHASE 'EM DOWN

AND EAT 'EM. NOW ONCE YOU'VE

PICKED A GOOD LIVE BAIT,

IT'S HOOK SELECTION. IF YOU'RE

NEW TO THE SPORT, YOU'RE NOT

QUITE SURE WHEN TO SET THE HOOK,

USE THE CIRCLE HOOK. IF YOU'RE

REALLY FAMILIAR WITH IT

AND YOU LIKE TO DRIVE THAT HOOK

IN THE FISH, THEN USE A J-HOOK.

SOME DAYS, YOU KNOW, I USE ONE

AND THEN I GO TO THE OTHER.

I'M HAVING TROUBLE SETTING

WITH A J-HOOK, YOU'RE GOING

TO LET IT RUN TO A COUNT

OF THREE OR FOUR, PUT THE REEL

COME OUT OF YOUR ROD,

OUT OF YOUR LINE, AND THEN DRIVE

THAT HOOK INTO THE FISH.

YOU GOT TO PULL THAT HOOK OUT

OF THE BAIT AND RIGHT INTO

REALLY HARD. AT THAT POINT,

YOU HAVE THE FISH, AND ALL IT IS

IS A MATTER OF WINDING IT IN.

AND THEN WHEN ALL THE ACTION'S

UP AND GET TO REEL AND THROW OUT

YOUR BAIT, THE BIG KEY IS TO

SPEND A LITTLE TIME AT THE BAIT

TANK. YOU JUST WANT TO STAY

THERE AT THE BAIT TANK

AND FIND A GOOD, LIVELY BAIT.

YOU GET A GOOD QUALITY BAIT,

YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A MORE

SUCCESSFUL DAY. IT ISN'T ALWAYS

Maximo Disc Golf Course (Tocobaga Disc Golf) in St. Petersburg, FL - Duration: 4:08.

Today we're gonna take a look at Maximo disc golf course

here in St. Petersburg, FL.

It's a short but challenging course,

and it's one of my favorites here in the area.

This is the entrance that you'll see when you pull into the park off I-275

This park is gonna be just past the Fort DeSoto exit, but before the Skyway

if you are coming South. We'll take that left turn there.

These are the baskets that you'll see around the course - pretty standard baskets.

This is your first parking area. That's usually where I like to stop there will be the basket for

hole #4 that you can use the practice as long as no one's on the course.

There you just walk down that road a little bit or drive if you didn't

park and that'll take you to the first tee.

That's what it'll look like when you get there. There is a sign, and there's quite a

bit of parking. This is the main area for the beach, the pavilions, and the playground.

Over to the right you'll see the first tee pad

So Maximo is short but if you get off of the fairway the underbrush is really

thick so you want to have a spotter or be real familiar with how your discs are gonna fly.

Hole#2 you can see here is really important for that. The fairway is

open for half of the distance but then it goes straight over Palmetto

bushes to a small landing area.

Hole #3 goes out over the road and then swings back to the right into the green area.

You can see off to the side here all the trees and underbrush- the palmettos again-

if your disc goes in there and you don't know exactly where it went it can be hard to find.

Hole #5 goes straight back here there are a lot of trees in the fairway

though so it is a tight tight fairway.

and then hole #6 here is pretty straightforward but

you'll see it's on the sidewalk where it's not an actual concrete pad.

Hole #7 goes down to the right and this one also has a lot of

underbrush like hole 2 so you want to have a spotter again.

Hole #8 has a tight tunnel there right where the arrows are

and to the right is really thick underbrush so you don't want to saw it off short

Hole #9 is pretty straightforward there's not a lot to worry about here.

Hole #10 is just gonna follow the tree line and then it has a slight right finish

That brings us to #11. This is one of the most open holes and one of the

longest ones. It does have kind of a low ceiling but you can you know bring out a big driver there.

Hole #12 again has a lot of trees in the middle and it also

has water long so you don't want to fly past the pin.

Hole #13 you're gonna have mangroves down the right-hand side

and then also water if you go too far

Hole# 14 is gonna take you over two roads to the green area there

#15 is a tight tunnel shot with underbrush again.

You can see the two mandos right off the tee.

# 16 is probably the most open. Overall it's a good distance

about 350 and there's some trees to avoid.

17 is open if you stay in the fairway, but if you go left it's almost a blind shot

and it's hard to find there too.

That brings us to 18 which is pretty straight forward- a lot of trees in the way

The short pin location is just before the water and

the back pin location is just after the water
