Dragon Ball Super Episode 100! Bros Bros this was insane!
This episode was totally action packed and intense.
Finally, feeling the tournament of power vibe, that was kind of missing in the earlier episodes.
You know shit got real when 3 of the most major Universes that being 6,7 and 11 starts
colliding with each other.
You will love the way the stage now looks.
Many thought DBS won't make it to 100 episodes or the 100th would be the last, but we still
here, and will be for a long time.
This episode roared out loud that the King of The Jungle is back!
Let's go through the top 3 moments of this episode real quick-
3.
The Vegeta-Cabe Moment-
There was a really cool scene with Cabe walking towards Vegeta to challenge him, and that
was almost like a little tribute to The Walk of Teen Gohan in the Bojack Unbound Movie,
when Gohan gave 0 shit to all the Bojack bitc*es.
Cabe was in his base form, and with no effort eliminated 2 Universe 4 fighters.
Actually, the character of Cabe is somewhat inspired by Teen Gohan.
Both have high potential, a bit of nervousness and then Vegeta is there like the Piccolo
of Cabe, and fans are really enjoying that connection.
2.
Kamehameha vs Kale-
So Yeah This has been controversial!
Kale in her Berserk Form was able to take Super Saiyan Blue Goku's Kamehameha head
on, without getting damage.
In a matter of fact, she walked right through it, and got hold of Goku.
I totally loved it, kind of highlighted the dominance of this form, otherwise it would
be like a normal Super Saiyan Transformation, and if we are to take a look back at Broly.
The thing of this form, the specialty is durability.
The ability to take attacks head on, this scene was in fact really similar to how Broly
got through the Kamehameha.
Now, I do understand that some of you find this unsettling, but it was really okay for
me.
If Caulifla went Blue, as many feared that would be a bitching worthy stuff, and I would
criticize if they do something stupid like making Caulifla SSB in the middle of a battle.
Super Saiyan is a different thing, and can be unlocked by rage and stuff, but God Aura
shouldn't be a joke.
Guys, the bottom line is, yeap Goku has reached Godly heights, but it doesn't mean he will
totally obliterate every opponent he meets.
Back in the Dragon Ball Days, Dragon Ball Z Days, no matter how stronger they got, newer
fighters kept coming who kept giving them tough competition.
Case same here, Goku will face opponents he can't deal with easily, and you better be
able to deal with that fact.
Besides, Kale was in a rage mode giving everything she has, which is mentioned by Hit later on
that Kale might end up killing someone, resulting in disqualification.
Goku wasn't trying to kill anyone, so yeah it's not that big of a deal.
Just enjoy its better that way.
1.
Jiren One Shots Kale-
So this episode was actually meant to hype Jiren up in an indirect way.
Entire episode you see Kale domination, it was just a set up so that Jiren could walk
in and say you thought that scary, no that wasn't danger, I am the one who dangers!
80% of the Hype any fighter of this Universal Tournament got goes to the slot of Jiren,
and they are trying to make it very clear that Jiren is no joke, and is a fighter of
a totally different level.
In a Dragon Ball Heroes cut scene, we see a scenario where it looks like Frieza and
Goku is teaming up to take on Jiren, and they are the lasts.
DBH is just a game, but since it's making promotional materials in line with Super.
In the past often time they hinted future stories accurately.
So, I think Goku alone wouldn't be able to take on Jiren.
Now, it might be Frieza on his side or maybe Gohan, but my bet is Goku won't be able
to defeat him alone in this tournament.
At least from what has been shown till now, if Goku reveals a new level of power then
we would have to reconsider the equation.
I like how all the awesomeness Kale built up in this episode was absorbed by Jiren.
So we get the confirmation Jiren doesn't actually eliminate Kale, but just turn her
off.
Caulifla was there to catch here.
Now, we see a stare down between Hit and Jiren, as Hit's intention is to guard his team.
This has been talked about recently, how epic would it be if two of the most baddest DBS
exclusive characters clashed.
If Hitman fought Jiren The Grey it would leave Universe 7 in an advantageous position, as
both of them would be damaged by the time they are done it, but Goku wasn't going
to let that happen.
He literally breaks in, and catches Jiren's attention.
Goku wants to win, get hold of the Super Dragon Ball, but his instinct and nature is unable
to avoid the lure of fighting powerful new opponents.
Hit on the other hand, is a very intelligent and calm individual, he sees the opportunity,
and he is like okay I am out.
Got to reserve my energy!
So Goku totally reverses the situation ultimately leaving Hitman Hit in advantage, and I was
wondering while all the attention is drawn towards this Goku-Jiren thing, what if Hit
keeps surviving and surprisingly winning because he would be less damaged.
I actually made a theory about how it could go if Hit was to win the tournament, I will
attach the link below if you want to check out, but we do know from Spoilers that Caulifla
and Kale will be assisting Goku in Episode 101!
Kale in her Berserk form was out of control, and even attacking her team mates.
I don't think she'll transform again, she might by now have realized how to go Super
normally.
We did see SS1 Kale in one magazine cover, so that might happen.
They are playing tricks with the naming of this form, we don't yet know what the official
name will end up being.
In many sources, it got mentioned as ' The Berserk Form'.
This episode interestingly Vegeta said it could be The Saiyan's True Form, something
like The Original Saiyan!
I don't know they might explore the concept of rage forms linking to this in future arcs.
There were some cool DC-Marvel references too!
When Kale was smashing Goku around, it totally looked like that Hulk-Loki scene from Avengers!
I mean absolutely the same!
Then there was the Charmander from Universe 11 using The Laso on Beast Mode Kale, like
Wonder Woman did on Doomsday.
Eventually, Doomsday and Kale to be taken out by Superman and Jiren respectively!
I get some sort of JL vibe from Pride Troopers.
You know they have like this Dyspo the speedy character kind of like Flash, and then there
is the Cyborg guy, the spaceships and all.
We see a bit of the Yadrat in this episode, overusing Instant Transmission vs Goku.
It looked like he got eliminated, but actually didn't because you see at the very last
moment he uses instant transmission, and we don't see Zeno marking him out on The God
Pad, so yeah he might do something interesting later on.
