How to Make Full Width Cover Background Image in Bootstrap-Bootstrap for Beginners - Duration: 14:23.
In this tutorial we are going to understand how to create a full width responsive background
image to a particular container, and in this context we will know how
to create media query in an extent to fit your contents in different or various display
device width.

Hello and welcome to another new episode of learning simplified.
In this tutorial the first thing we are going to know is how to create a responsive full
width background image of a container and in this
respect we will be knowing how to make those media queries such that the contents fit into
any device, into any width, any display device width.
A couple of days ago Mr. Rohit from New Delhi made such query to us and In response to that
query, we are particularly presenting this tutorial to you.
It is the very effective one so stay tuned to our tutorial and watch the video till the
end.
Let me Express you that in this context we have created a new .HTML page which is known
as full-width-background.HTML.
We are practically using HTML5 documentation over here and we have linked bootstrap.min.css
to this HTML page and in this respect we have linked bootstrap.min.js to this page.
So for the page will be looking like this one.
If we now move into our custom.css we can see I have set the background color of this
HTML page as #000, so there's nothing problem with it.
I am going to create a new .banner10 class.
Now in this particular case as I am using a background image, hence I won't be providing
any kind of background color over here.
Else I will be jumping straight into importing some kind of background image to this HTML
page.
This is the folder that contains the image so the first thing all I need to do, I need
to take this folder name over here and then I need to copy this file name.
So I am getting back to this I have clicked into
this folder and inside it there is a sample .JPG.
All I need to do we need to just copy this filename along with its
extension name over here, and paste it here.
In this purpose I would like to say that this image will be non-repeating in nature.
So I am placing here no-repeat option and I am keeping the image at the top
position, that means the image will be showing full of its features over here.
And another thing, I am setting the background-size as cover.
Now another thing, this is practically a testing purpose that this div is working properly,
so what I am doing here I am just using a height.
This is not advised to use any kind of height property in bootstrap element as we are totally
unaware of the height of the content, but for the testing
purpose we are practically imposing the height over here.
Now let's get back to full-width -background.HTML and inside this page...
This time I am using container-fluid instead of container.
Practically I am not restricting our content to be kept within a 1200px container, as a
whole device width will be covered here so that is why I am selecting this container-fluid,
which will be covering the hundred percent width of the device and along with this div
class, I am using another div, which is known as banner10, that
we have created over here.
So here it is.
Now let's have a check on it that we have created so far.
So I am getting back to Browser, and I am pressing reload.
There is no sign of it.
Here it is.
So instead of background-image, use here this background property.
Now we can see that our div is ok and it has been tested and all these things are coming
through and it's quite well in its position.
Now let's concentrate into the rest of the coding.
Now we have created this banner10, its ok over here, we are now removing this height
and instead of this height we are now creating the
banner10 h2 over here.
now I am getting back to full-width-background.HTML and here inside this col-lg-12, I am placing
this thing, h2.
Now Press control+S, get back to your project and reload, and now you
can see that this world hello world is no practically been imposed over here, it is
now appearing into your screen.
Now another thing that we have to create over here is... instead of padding-top, we are
providing a padding- bottom of 20%.
Then come back to your .HTML page and just beneath this h2, we are now providing
this class h3.
Press control + s, get back to your project and reload.
Now you can see that hello world is the first thing
and the second thing is how are you.
You may change this content to this one, that may seem to be quite a larger one.
So all these things are coming together and coming fine.
Now, we can see over here get this image is practically getting a full-width version.
As we can witness that this thing is working quite well with larger desktop
preview, but what if we now switch on to mobile responsive preview and press Control + shift
+ m in this context and you can see that all those things are coming
quite well inside your preview.
But if you want to make these things, come these things into a single line, then all
the remaining thing that you need to do over here is to reduce the size up to a certain
preview or up to a dimension.
On the other hand if you just reduce the size here, inside this custom .CSS, press
control + s, get back to your project and reload.
And you can see that it is OK for this device dimension, perhaps it is OK too for this device
dimension, but in case of a desktop preview, you can see that
these words are really too small, way too small to be properly viewed in case of large
desktop devices.
That is why we need to make such amendments such as these
words will be small when it is viewed in a smaller device, but it will be in a bigger
font size when it is view in a larger desktop preview.
So what to be done over here?
That is why we will be requiring a special type of css Syntax which is known as @ media
query.
Now practically if we import this thing @ media query over here,
provide a space now you have to specify, you may specify a min-width, oh you may specify
a max width.
So first of all we are specifying a max width of 767px.
When the HTML page will detect the media width
is 767px, then it will..
First of all change this original values over here, we are making this amendment somewhere
else.
We can see that in normal preview the font size is 5 em.
Just press control + S, get back to your project and reload.
Now you can see that the normal media preview is 5em and 3 em respectively.
But in case, when the media will be detecting as a max width of 767px, then under that condition,
the font size of banner10 h2 will be 5em, not 5em actually 3em, and in the same
manner for h3, this size will be reduced to 1 em.
Now just press Control + s, get back to your project and reload, now you can see that in
a larger desktop preview, there's practically no change in this font size
property.
Now if you just enter into your mobile responsive view, now you can see the font size is reduced
to 3 em and the h3 element,the h3 header tag here is
reduced to 1 em as we can observe over here.
Rotate the view, same thing is happening here.
No place here up to 767px.
Now you can see here that up to 767px, those header tags, those are representing a font
size of 3em and 1em respectively.
But whenever this media device width is greater than 767px, now you can see that the
original font size is now back into action.
Now let's suppose that we want get up to 767px, banner10 h2 will execute a font size of 3em,
then from 768px to, for say 1199px, this Banner10 h2 will be executing a
font size of 4em and the font-size of h3 will be 2 em in that case and beyond 1199px, original
font-sizes will be restored which is 5em and 3em respectively.
So, if you want to make this kind of amendment, then
you need to specify some particularity over here.
You need to copy this code again, paste it over here, and here you
should change this max-width to min-width, which is 768px and here you need to specify
-- this thing should be 4em as we told you earlier.
And font-size in this case will be 2em.
Now if we press 'ctrl + s' and get back to our project, now we can see that the font-size
is a little-bit of increased, as we have mentioned over here.
Now checking this condition.
Place here 320px.
And here we can see that the H2 font size it is practically executing a 3em, this H3
tag over here, it is practically executing a font size of 1em.
In case of 640px, same thing will be continued over here.
In case of 767px, checking, same thing will be executed over here as we can see.
But whenever we are now changing this value to 768px, now we can see
that this font-size is a little bit of enhanced.
And beyond this thing that means whenever we are now getting back to
our normal preview we can see that the original font sizes are being restored.
So this is the power of @media query.
Hence we are now defining the particular attribute or properties for particular dimension.
So these are the things that you can do here with this media query.
Creating another div.
I am practically using banner9 along with this container so getting back to custom.css
getting back to this full-width background hTML, first
of all create the rest of these things here...
There it goes on now we can see that this is the first container which is in action
and this is the second container that is in action, that everything is now
working perfectly.
So we have successfully employed a full-width background image for a particular container
which is also responsible and the font size and all the elements inside,
their properties can be altered with the aid of @ media query as we have seen over here.
Here it is, at the responsive preview.
A margin top of 2em has been employed and that is why this margin is being
executed over here.
It can be observed in the normal preview as we can see over here and we have used the
container class, the container fluid and that is why
it is executing at 1200px container over here.
Everything and the rest of the things are remaining the same.
So this is what we had to know in this tutorial.

Today we are going to make Chocolate Brownies Cake, for this we need
Take a bowl
Add half sugar and keep half for late use
Add Maida Flour
Cocoa Powder
And Salt
Mix it well
We'll mix all dry ingredients

Egg Yolks
Beat it properly
then add 4 tablespoon mlik
then mix
and then add melted butter
It's best for Tea Time
After mixing, add Cocoa Powder in portions
It should not thick more than this
Now take Egg Whites
add lemon juice
and remaining sugar
and beat well
with hand or beater
Don't make too foamy
because we don't want to rise more
now add in chocolate mixture
slowly mix it
It's ready
I have taken a baking pan/ bowl
wrap with foal and butter paper inside
Then take rough use oven tray
Put baking pan over it
Add mixture in pan
If you can use any shape of baking pan/ bowl
whatever shape you like
add mixture in pan/ bowl
Baking will take time
Approximately 1 hour
Now add boiling water on the sides
Approximately 1 cup water
Now put in the over
See friends, it's baked
you can the crunch
when it comes down to room temperature
put in the plate or tray
Remove Butter Papper
Because surface side is more crunching
So we'll use that as top
Now garnish with some Sugar Powder
and Chocolate Syrup
Our Cake is ready

There are people who are already at fifty thousand sixty thousand and why would they pick me?
But I thought that since this is the first time ever in Thailand to have the kind of program
Maybe I should give myself a shot, maybe I stand a chance to win this and be one of the sixteen winners and I did
but that wasn't when my accomplishment start my accomplishment starts when we all first met for the orientation
and that was when I felt for the first time a sense of belonging
of being part of the Thai community Youtube community and was really eye-opening for me to
work with other people
Because you see I was one of those youtubers who started in my bedroom
Working just to to post something out there trying to find a creative outlet to talk to other people
I was studying abroad, and I really didn't know about the Thai Youtube community I didn't know that it exists
I don't really watch time videos and I found out later
After I learned about this YouTube NextUp and
I have to admit that at first it was really difficult for me to work with other people they have so many ideas
everyone wants to talk about their ideas what you pitch their ideas, but
it was yet refreshing to brainstorm and listen to other people and think about all the possibilities that we have and
many other people like
can help me grow as a person too. So for the first time we met at the orientation we went to
McDonald s
at Silom and then
Okay, and then we talked until 2:00 a.m.
For brain storming ideas about our videos
So that was something like that never happened to me as a YouTube creator. I never really talked to anyone
to get ideas for my videos
Yeah, so when I asked other people what they gained from this experience
The answer is basically very similar very similar feedbacks
that the best thing we gained from this whole experience was friendship, and it's a network of people who believe in you
People who really support you, and people who are eager to share what they know and push you to become better
So my advice for other winners is to learn from other people you know they might be a little bit weird at first
like in this slide
And it's just people are very different from you
But trust me these people are not normal they have something to share
they have insights just learn how they think learn how they
Put their ideas together how do they shoot how do they take care of their equipments
Or even how they edit and export their files
I didn't know how to do that at first so from this camp
that was the first time I learned how to use Adobe Premiere Pro and
I was able to edit everything for my Youtube video using this program, and I was taught by
those weird looking duded just now
how to use the program and that video became the most
Complicated video on my channel until this day like I was really really proud of that
And I'm really really glad to be able to learn from them
So yeah just to keep in mind that every single one of us is unique in our own way and together we can create something
better and bigger
And so I was also asked to give you guys three things to keep in mind
Right so the first thing that I would like to share is that our five days together is really really short
And it will be another memorable event for you
only if you make it so
So give yourself like all energy and try to stay focus as much as possible talk to other people
maybe it's during lunch during dinner or
Even when you're in the bus or in the van going somewhere if you know more about other people then you can
Get more ideas about how to collaborate and work with each other the second thing is that
When we talk about growing our channels we usually just focusing on the numbers like the views the subscribers
But I would like to propose that you think of it more of growing as a person growing up as a content creator
Because not many things are measurable by just numbers and in this camp
We got a chance to meet with YouTube stars or
top creators
I think they're called and that that's the really really
Privileged opportunity that other Youtubers don't get to do so so really make it count use your opportunity to ask them questions
to make connections with them even if it's just to know your name you might not be able to collaborate with them, but if you
if they know you maybe one day they have something for you to do or to collaborate with in the long run
And last but not least stay in touch
It's a really really rare opportunity to be able to meet these kind of people
I've never experienced what happened when youtubers meet each other, but now that happens all the time
That's something that I never dreamed of and
I think it's really valuable for me that I finally found where I belong
In this Thai YouTube community and that I was able to feel
Connected I feel safe. I feel inspired and I was able to
to share with other people and also one of the rising stars in the Youtube community
Website that's something that I'm really proud of as well, so yeah
We became the source of inspiration for each other, and it's not only about you or only about your friends, but it's also about building
a community of YouTubers for your country as well yeah, so that's all I have to say for today

Hello welcome to another episode of Quick-Fix,
quick tips and tricks from Gunfire.
Today will we show you how to properly assemble the sear assembly
in MB01 replica and all it derivatives.
The whole trigger assembly mechanism is locked in this small box,
so what should we do after we've dissassembled it but do not know how to put it back again?
That is the aim of the video.
We will need: tweezers, precise cross screwdriver
First, we take the left part of the casing.
It is our starting point.
We will be assembling all other internal elements to it.
Next we take the sear, that is comprised of a few elements.
A safeguard
a thin long spring
and the sear itself.
We take the safeguard,
and put the spring exactly into the recess.
Then we turn it around
and place it exactly this way
into the casing.
It should be working as shown in the video.
Now we take the hook
and place it as shown.
Now we take the trigger
and place it on the back pin.
Remember - this pin
should fit exactly into this gap.
We also install the spring that will be bouncing back the trigger
It is slightly thicker and shorter than the previous one.
Next, we install the piston stopper block
it is mounted on the central pin and fits only one way.
Under the block in its front part, install the next spring
the thickest and the shortest one.
Now let us move one to the assembly of the piston catch.
Firstly we have to install one of the two thin springs.
The first willl be installed underneath it.
We mount it on the top pin,
remembering that the protruding element
should be placed exactly in this small gap.
and attach to the pin which is an integral part of the casing.Using tweezers we have to bend it forward
and attach to the pin which is an integral part of the casing.
Now, we are installing the catch.
Then we install the next spring simiralry to the previous one
however the protruding element will be fixed in positon
after mounting the second half of the chasis.
Now we are closing the chasis,
keeping in mind the second spring from the piston catch.
Now we can check if all the elements on the springs
work fine.
It looks like everything is fine, so we can screw it together
with the use of a precision screwdriver.
In order to check if our sear assembly is working lets install it in the replica.
Now lets try to make a controll shot.

I am actually today's host for the Biannual Bibliothon
and the challenge is Fictitious Food Network, wherein you recreate
fictional foods or beverages as if you were on a Food Network show.
And these can be foods from, inspired by, or that you think would
exist in a specific fictional world.

So for today's challenge I decided to cosplay
as Alice from Alice in Wonderland and make a shrinking potion
So without further ado, here is the video.
Hello and welcome back to another episode of Alice's Adventures in the Kitchen
where we will be making some shrinking potion.
While I have tried a shrinking potion before I actually
haven't attempted to make it myself so this is going to be an interesting
experience for all of us but what I do remember about the potion is that it has six distinct flavours
There's cherry tart, custard, pineapple, roast turkey, toffee, and buttered toast
And I'll need to extract all six of these flavours before
combining them all into a potion and with this, being a potion, it needs to be
exact - it is an art, which means that all the ingredients need to be authentic. No
cutting corners here. Today I will be using 6 small jars to extract the
flavours but do feel free to increase or decrease the quantity. And fill up each
of your jars or containers with the individual ingredients to about halfway

So I'm almost finished up preparing all of the ingredients.
I've toasted and buttered some bread and I'm just cutting it up so
I can actually fit it inside the jar. You'll have to do the same with the
roast turkey, cherry pie, and pineapple as well. As for the others I used individual
soft toffee pieces and of course the custard you can pour straight in.
The next step in the extraction process is to heat up milk and then fill up the jars.

In doing this as well just be careful not to burn the milk.
Could you keep an eye on this for me? I just need to go to the bathroom. Thanks.

Take it off the heat, and then just carefully fill up all of your jars

And next we're going to wait for these to cool down just a little bit before
popping them in the fridge and leaving them overnight.
So these are ones that I have pre-prepared and you will need another set of containers because we're now
going to be straining each of these to remove all the chunky bits so that we just
have the flavour-infused milk.
*music*

Now, some of these obviously are gonna have a little more liquid than others, so I am
just going to try and even it out a tiny bit particularly with this roast turkey
I mean I'm happy to get rid of some of this one. Next I will be adding with some
food colouring and just very carefully add two drops of colour to each.
Ok, that was a pour. Ahem.
It's fine, it's fine.
*music*
And then I'm just stirring all of these together.
We'll need some more boiling water because our next ingredient is gelatin.
Now, the reason why we're using this is because
this potion actually isn't as effective if all the ingredients are
thoroughly mixed together it only needs to be very lightly mixed or at least
consumed one right after the other so it mixes as it's going down and in your
belly so using the gelatin will actually help to solidify it so we can layer
each of the flavours and help make it a more effective potion.
So just slowly pouring it in as you stir and gradually dissolve the gelatin.
Now, this does not smell good. If I'm being honest it kind of smells
like my cat's litter box.
And then I'm just going to add a couple of tablespoons of the gelatin
mixture to each.
Make sure you mix everything and then we're actually to pop this in the fridge for maybe an hour or two
definitely keep an eye on it just so that it doesn't solidify too much.
Just gonna wait for this to become a little more solid. These have been chilling for about
an hour and it's time for the final step for this potion.
So what I will be doing is filling up each of the flavours with this syringe and pouring them into this
container one at a time. Definitely take this slow as well so you
can get them nice and layered. And I will be doing 20 millilitres of each flavour
so that's two syringe-fulls before continuing on to the next one

Once you have finished layering all of the ingredients you have your finished
shrinking potion and as you can see here I mean it definitely helped that some of
the colours were darker than others but it is quite layered which looks quite
nice and lets you know that this is probably going to be a fairly effective
shrinking potion. I would also like to warn you though: it's best to take
smaller sips rather than big gulps at a time, it's better to take it slow and
shrink down bit by bit rather than take too much and shrink down more than you
anticipated. But I do actually want to take a tiny, tiny taste just to see what the flavours are like

Mmm.... ooh, hot buttered toast.
Hm, I don't seem to have shrunk at all
maybe I can have another little taste, see if I can get that toffee flavour
WooP!
I uh, seem to have forgotten that there was a bit of a delay as it digests...
I didn't expect to get quite so small so I don't have
any of those cakes that'll help me grow again.
So, um, I think I'll have to- I'll wrap up this episode for now and try and find some help.

hello booknerds! i'm George and welcome to another video of booknerd_kageyami
today ill be showing you five series i'm not gonna finish
for the reasons explained afterward
therefore, just to make myself clear
it doesn't mean i'm not happy if you like these series
if you like a series don't let it be affected by this video
i may as well like a series mentioned in a previous video that you don't like
i'm glad if you like one of the series i'm going to mention
it's just that they don't appeal to me
i'll tell number five and number four together for the same reasons
the vampire diaries by L.J. Smith
and the true blood series by Charlaine Harris
both of them have a tv series adaptation and it's two of the rare times
that the tv adaptation is better than the books
in my opinion, the tv series is better than the book series
basically the amount of books in the series is large
so this fact doesn't really motivate me on keep going with the series
since i have other series to finish
true blood has almost 14 books and vampire diaries has almost as much
well reading them doesn't sound like a good idea
number three comes the forest of hands and teeth by Carry Ryan
which is the first book of the trilogy
this book has the most annoying protagonist I've ever met in a book
she is the most selfish character I've came across
well, it also has zombies and i don't really like zombies
zombies are not that of a major thing though
it mostly focuses on the 'apocalypse
and running and escaping from a village in distraction
but seriously, Mary didn't care for anyone
she only wanted to go somewhere, not gonna tell where in case you wanna read it
even though the rest of the series has different protagonist
i'm afraid they'll be as awful as Mary
number two is shadow and bone by leigh bardugo, which is the first book in the grisha trilogy
i know that this book is a best seller series worldwide and it is a great series
personally, i didn't like the plot
her world was just ok
and as for the characters they kinda boring
therefore, i admit it had a great plot twist in the end
and it has a beautiful map
yeah, it is beautiful
i know that she has written another duology, six of crows and crooked kingdom
which i dont know if it's better or worse that the grisha trilogy
either way it doesn't move me on reading the rest of the series
finally, the biggest dissapointment i had with a book is
red rising by pierce brown
it is the worst book i've ever read
it dint make me feel anything
i couldn't care less for the characters
the narration was (almost) awful
i liked the concept behind this book, which was hunger games in mars
if he had worked on that more, i guess he would have managed something better
it is the first book of a trilogy
and i know that it is considered a great book worldwide
it's just that i dint like a single thing
the characters were also stupid
i dint like the protagonist a bit
i kinda liked the book at it's first chapters before they get into the arena
these are the series i'm not gonna finish
ive read all the book that i showed you
i'm not saying that i'm not gonna finish them without reading at least the first book
if you like these books, good for you, because i know they are good books
it's that i dint like them

So they know they are doing a good thing.

First you will notice that they are really grabbing your hand.
And when they understand what they need to do.
You give them the cookie when they are nibbeling above your finger.
So the command is getting more precise.
