STEP BACK FROM TWO OF ITS TRADITIONAL RESPONSE

ABILITIES AND PRIORITIES.

NOW, THE FIRST AREA IS SOMETHING THAT IS NOT PARTICULARLY

RELEVANT THESE DAYS, IT IS CYBER SECURITY.

I DON'T KNOW IF ANYBODY IS FAMILIAR WITH IT.

BUT THEY BOTH LOST A HIGH-RANKING EXECUTIVE, AND

THIS MIGHT NOT BE THE END OF THEIR LOSSES IN THIS AREA.

CHRISTOPHER PAINTER, THE ADMINISTRATION'S TOP CYBER

DIPLOMAT, WILL BE LEAVING THE STATE DEPARTMENT AT THE END

OF THE MONTH.

THERE'S A LOT OF POSITIVE COMMENTARY ON CHRISTOPHER

PAINTER COMING OUT OF THE STATE DEPARTMENT.

NOW, THAT BY ITSELF POSSIBLY MIGHT HARM THE STATE

DEPARTMENT'S ABILITY TO CONDUCT CYBER DIPLOMACY, BUT PEOPLE

GO INTO THEIR JOBS, PEOPLE LEAVE THEIR JOBS, BUT AS I SAID

IT MIGHT NOT BE THE END OF IT.

SECRETARY OF STATE REX TILLERSON IS CONSIDERING CLOSING THE CYBER

OFFICE, OR MERGING IT WITH ANOTHER OFFICE AND DOWNGRADING

- VIDEO BUFFERING ñ

IT'S CLEAR THEY ARE THINKING ABOUT REORGANIZING, THE SOURCE

SAID, CLEARLY THEY DON'T THINK IT'S THAT IMPORTANT.

I WOULD THINK THAT RIGHT NOW IS THE TIME WHEN IT'S IMPORTANT.

LOOK, SOMETIMES THE U.S. GOVERNMENT WAY OVERREACHES ON

THESE ISSUES, AND UNDER THE GUISE OF CYBER SECURITY THEY

ACTUALLY DO INTRUSIONS ON OUR PRIVACY, LET ALONE WORLD

LEADERS, AND ALL THE THINGS THAT WE'VE DISCOVERED THAT THE

U.S. IS DOING.

AND WORLD LEADERS, SPYING ON THEM, BOTH UNDER PRESIDENT BUSH,

OBAMA, TRUMP, THAT'S PART OF SPYING, I GET IT, AND

ACTUALLY DEFEND THEM ON IT TO A LARGE DEGREE.

BUT SPYING ON INNOCENT U.S. CITIZENS, NOT IN FAVOR OF.

THIS, ON ANOTHER HAND, IS ANOTHER THING.

AT THE MOMENT THAT EVERYONE IS CONCERNED THAT A FOREIGN COUNTRY

THAT IS NOT AN ALLY MIGHT HAVE MEDDLED WITH OUR ELECTIONS ñ ON

THE PART OF THE STORY THAT DOESN'T GET ENOUGH

COVERAGE, IS THAT THEY DID TRY TO GET VOTER INFORMATION,

AND IN A COUPLE OF INSTANCES THEY SUCCEEDED.

THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY HACKED THE VOTE, BUT THAT THEY AT LEAST

GOT VOTER INFO, AND THEY ARE RELATIVELY CLOSE TO

ACTUALLY HACKING THE VOTE.

AND THEN TRUMP PROPOSES TO A CYBER SECURITY JOINT

EFFORT, PARTNERSHIP WITH RUSSIA.

THAT'S MENTAL, THOSE OF THE GUYS WHO WERE JUST HACKING, WHO NOT

ONLY GOT THE DNC EMAILS, ACCORDING TO OUR TOP

INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES, POTENTIALLY GOING AFTER OUR

ELECTIONS, THOSE ARE THE LAST GUYS TO DO A CYBER SECURITY

DEAL WITH.

THAT WAS SO RIDICULOUS THAT EVEN REPUBLICANS WERE LIKE, ARE

YOU KIDDING?

AND HE WAS LIKE, COURSE I DIDN'T MEAN THAT.

AND RIGHT AFTERWARDS, REX TILLERSON, FORMER CEO OF EXXON

MOBILE, WHO HAD THE DEAL WITH THE RUSSIANS THAT THE SECTIONS

AFFECTED, COMES OUT WITH, CYBER SECURITY, NOW THAT WE CAN'T

PARTNER UP WITH RUSSIA, TO GIVE THEM ACCESS TO ALL OUR

INFORMATION, MAYBE WE JUST DON'T DO ANY CYBER SECURITY.

SO WHAT HE CAN CONTROL, IT'S POWERING DOWN ON THAT.

I DON'T THINK THE DECISION TO REORGANIZE ANY GIVEN DEPARTMENT

IMPLIES THAT THEY ARE NOT TAKING IT SERIOUSLY, I JUST THINK THAT

IN EVERY OTHER CONTEXT.

LIKE, SHAKE UP, YES.

IF YOU COUPLE THAT WITH, THIS, WE ARE REORGANIZING THIS PART OF

IT, AND WE HAVE A PLAN MOVING FORWARD, OR WE HAVE THIS PERSON

THAT WE ARE EYEING TO REPLACE IT, THAT'S ONE THING, BUT THIS

DOES SEEM LIKE IT'S LIKE, BUT JUST FOLD IT INTO THIS OTHER ARM

AND PUT IT OVER HERE, AND THEN NEVER TALK ABOUT IT AGAIN.

THERE IS NO FOLLOW-UP STATEMENT ABOUT WHY THEY ARE DOING IT

OR HOW THEY ARE DOING IT.

TIME TO TIME THE GOVERNMENT DECIDES TO BECOME MORE

EFFICIENT.

REMEMBER AL GORE, FAMOUSLY, WHEN HE WAS VICE PRESIDENT HE DID A

RESTRUCTURING OF THE GOVERNMENT, TRIED TO 11 A BUREAUCRACY.

AND THEN THERE IS THIS KIND OF GETTING RID OF PEOPLE FROM

A CERTAIN DEPARTMENT, SHUTTING IT DOWN, ETC.

LIKE SCOTT PRUITT AT THE EPA, SAYING DO WE REALLY NEEDS ONLY

PEOPLE TO FIGURE OUT THAT OUR AIR OR WATER IS AND I CLEAN?

IS DISCOVERED OF THOSE GUYS.

THERE'S A REASON WHY HE DID THAT, HE WANTS TO LET THE

GUYS WHO POLLUTE GET AWAY WITH IT, BECAUSE OF DONATIONS.

IN THIS CASE, THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT MATTER, AND A

VERY TIMELY ISSUE.

THERE IS NO OTHER EXCUSE FOR POWERING DOWN RIGHT NOW.

AND REX TILLERSON HAS FACED ACCUSATIONS FROM THE VERY

BEGINNING, BOTH FROM INSIDE THE STATE FARM IN AND OUTSIDE THE

STATE DEPARTMENT THAT HE HAS NOT STAFFED IT PROPERLY, THAT IS

LIKE A GHOST TOWN IN THERE.

PEOPLE FEEL LIKE THEIR WORK IS NOT BEING DONE FOR ANYTHING, AND

ALSO THAT THERE ARE JUST FAR FEWER PEOPLE WORKING IN THE

STATE DEPARTMENT.

I WANT TO BE JUMPING AHEAD TO GRAPHIC 27 HERE.

THIS IS A DIFFERENT AREA, NOT CYBER SECURITY RELATED.

SEVERAL FORMER US OFFICIALS TOLD FOREIGN-POLICY RECENTLY

THAT TODD BUCHWALD, A SPECIAL COORDINATOR IN THE OFFICE

OF GLOBAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE, WAS RECENTLY TOLD THAT HE WAS BEING

REASSIGNED TO A NEW POSITION IN A DIFFERENT DEPARTMENT.

THE REMAINING STAFF OF THE OG CJ MAY ALSO BE REASSIGNED,

ACCORDING TO FOREIGN-POLICY."

THAT OFFICE DEALS WITH ISSUES SURROUNDING WAR CRIMES AND

GENOCIDES, AND HELPS FORM POLICY TO ADDRESS THOSE ISSUES.

SO TWO AREAS THAT THE U.S. SHOULD BE VERY INVOLVED

AND

ENGAGED, MIGHT -

VIDEO BUFFERING ñ

THE LAW THAT WE PASSED, SAYING THAT WE WERE GOING TO FREEZE THE

ASSETS OF SOME RUSSIAN OLIGARCHS BECAUSE OF HUMAN RIGHTS

VIOLATIONS, AND FRAUD IN RUSSIA, INCLUDING THE KILLING OF

ONE OF THE GUYS WHO WAS INVESTIGATING THAT FRAUD.

SO, NOW REX TILLERSON AND DONALD TRUMP GO AND MEET WITH PUTIN.

TILLERSON COMES BACK AND GOES, WELL, IX-NAY ON THE CYBER

SECURITY...

AND HUMAN RIGHTS, WHO NEEDS THEM?

IN ADDITION, THE LAW PASSED IN RUSSIA TO KIND OF FIGHT BACK

AGAINST THIS IS AN ADOPTION LAW, SO IF YOU LOOK AT THE MEETING

THAT WAS HAD BETWEEN TRUMP JR.

AND THE RUSSIAN SIDE, THEY SAY, LISTEN IT WASN'T ABOUT

THESE KINDS OF THINGS, ANYTHING IMPORTANT, THEY JUST AREN'T

TALKING ABOUT ADOPTIONS.

WHILE THAT IS IMPORTANT.

THE ADOPTION THAT WAS REPORTED IN THE NEW YORK TIMES IS

FREQUENTLY TAKES IN PLACE IN DISCUSSIONS FOR SANCTIONS,

BY AND LARGE.

IT'S NOT LIKE THE RUSSIANS CARE ABOUT THE ADOPTION PART.

WE CARE ABOUT THE ADOPTION PART, BECAUSE WE WANT -

BABIES?

AND BY THE WAY, IMAGINE YOU WERE BORN IN THE MIDDLE OF SIBERIA,

AND YOU'RE AN ORPHAN, YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO COME TO AMERICA,

BUT THEY ENDED THAT BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT,

RIGHT, BUT WHAT THEY CARE ABOUT IS, DON'T FREEZE OUR ASSETS.

THAT IS ILL-GOTTEN GAIN THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO KEEP

ILL-GOTTEN, AND ON OUR SIDE.

SO NOW, ALL OF A SUDDEN, YOU KNOW, WE SAY, THE THING WE

FREEZED IT OVER, THE HUMAN RIGHTS?

WE ARE GOING TO POWER THAT DOWN TOO.

IF YOU WANTED TO HELP RUSSIA, YOU WOULD FREE CYBER SECURITY,

YOU WOULD TRY TO LIFT THE SANCTIONS, YOU WOULD BRING IN

THEIR FRIEND REX TILLERSON AS SECRETARY OF STATE, YOU STOP

CARING ABOUT THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS, YOU WOULD DO A

CEASE-FIRE IN SYRIA, THAT WOULD CEMENT THEIR ALLY ASSAD'S LEAD.

AND YOU WOULD GOT OUR STATE DEPARTMENT SO THAT WE COULD

NOT EVEN KEEP TRACK OF WHAT RUSSIA IS UP TO, AND OUR

STATE DEPARTMENT LOOK LIKE A GHOST TOWN AND NOT BE ABLE

TO RESPOND TO THE RUSSIANS.

THE FIRST DAY THING.

POLITICIANS LOVE TO THROW OUT, THIS IS WHAT I'M GOING TO

DO WITH MY FIRST DAY, OR MY FIRST 100 DAYS.

IF YOU WERE PRESIDENT, YOU WOULD PROBABLY HAVE THIS LONG

LIST OF THINGS YOU WOULD LOVE TO SEE PAST ON THE FIRST DAY,

BUT LET'S SAY YOU JUST REALLY WANT TO HAVE A BETTER

RELATIONSHIP WITH RUSSIA.

THERE'S NO DEAL, HE DOES WANT TO BETTER RELATIONSHIP WITH

THEM, FINE, BUT FIRST DAY?

WOULD THAT REALLY BE ONE OF THE FIRST PRIORITIES YOU HAD,

IS LIFTING SANCTIONS THAT THE PRESIDENT PUT ON FORMERLY?

THAT IS INCREDIBLY WEIRD, REGARDLESS OF WHATEVER ELSE YOU

THINK IS WEIRD IN THIS SITUATION.

ALSO, IN EXCHANGE FOR WHAT, IF YOU ARE SUCH A GREAT NEGOTIATOR.

FROM A POPULIST PERSPECTIVE, IF THAT IS WHAT IS THRUST IS,

AMERICA FIRST, JOBS FIRST, IT ISN'T.

IN THESE KINDS OF EAST SANCTIONS, THE MONEY THEY GO

SPECIFICALLY TO THE OLIGARCHS, AND THE FOLKS THAT WOULD KNOW

HOW TO LEVERAGE THE EASING OF SANCTIONS AND PROFIT FROM IT IN

SIBERIA, YOU KNOW, AND IN THOSE KINDS OF OIL RICH LOCATIONS.

SO, THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THEY ARE SO BRAZEN THAT IF THEY

KEEP GOING LIKE THIS THEY ARE GOING TO GET CAUGHT.

understand why some big stars prefer to lay low.

Check out which mega-celebs have ditched the limelight in favor of some major "me time."

Lauryn Hill

In 1998, it seemed like Lauryn Hill was everywhere.

A former member of hip-hop group The Fugees, Hill's first solo record, The Miseducation

of Lauryn Hill, hit number one on the Billboard charts and earned her five awards at the 1999

Grammys, including Album of the Year.

As the years went on, Hill occasionally performed, but reports of erratic behavior abounded.

She also did a three-month prison stint in 2013, for tax evasion.

But for the most part, her former high profile completely diminished.

More recently, Hill was scheduled to perform at the 2016 Grammy Awards, but mysteriously

pulled out at the last minute.

But after her surprise performance at the 2017 Coachella Festival, and a spate of concert

dates lined up for the summer, she just might be considering a full return to the spotlight!

Terrence Malick

Director Terrence Malick is best known for hauntingly beautiful films like Badlands,

The Tree of Life, and The Thin Red Line.

But, notoriously camera-shy, Malick prefers never to be photographed and only very rarely

gives interviews about his work.

The Independent profiled Malick in 2011, writing, "He refused to let producers keep copies of

his own handwriting, and after going missing, he once called a producer to say he was walking

from Texas to Oklahoma 'looking at birds.'"

However, there has been the occasional Malick sighting.

In 2012, TMZ caught some footage of Malick speaking with Benicio del Toro.

He was also photographed in March 2017 during a panel discussion at the South by Southwest

festival.

It's rare to catch a Malick in the wild… but not impossible!

Axl Rose

As the New York Times reported in 2008, due to his reclusive behavior, Guns N' Roses frontman

Axl Rose earned himself the title of "The Howard Hughes of Rock" after he stepped out

of the spotlight for years after the band's massive success in the late-80s and early-90s.

Reports suggested that Rose rarely left his Malibu house during those years, only venturing

out to go to the studio.

Rose officially reemerged in 2008 with the release of the album Chinese Democracy.

But as The Guardian reported in 2009, "Fed up with the album's poor sales, the band's

frontman has locked himself in his home and is not coming out…"

Fans were thrilled, however, when Guns N' Roses got the band back together for a massive

reunion tour that kicked off in 2016.

Daniel Day Lewis

Undeniably one of our greatest living actors, Academy Award winner Daniel Day Lewis prefers

his privacy.

In 2008, the Daily Mail profiled Day Lewis' preference for a life far away from Hollywood's

trappings, highlighting his "resolutely reclusive existence, locked away on a remote 50-acre

estate in the mountains of County Wicklow."

An associate told the Mail, quote, "He hates all the razzmatazz and standing around on

the red carpet…He can't stand the attention."

And it looks like that's his final word.

According to Variety, Day Lewis has officially retired from acting as of 2017.

Fans will get one last look at the star in Paul Thomas Anderson's fashion flick, Phantom

Thread.

David Letterman

After David Letterman said goodbye as the host of CBS' Late Show in May 2015, he surprised

everyone by showing up in public again with what can perhaps best be described as Ernest

Hemingway's beard.

Letterman told The New York Times, "I just got tired of shaving every day…The beard

is a good reminder to me that that was a different life."

Letterman and his beard have lived in relative solitude ever since he passed the torch to

Stephen Colbert.

The former late nite host has been enjoying his private time, traveling, and granting

the occasional interview.

Esquire had previously described Letterman in 2010 as the kind of celebrity who keeps

their "public windows open just enough to do their jobs before retreating once more

to the shadows of private citizenry."

Just how Letterman preferred it.

Richard Simmons

At one point, fitness guru Richard Simmons was all over the place, whether guesting regularly

on David Letterman or sweatin' to the oldies on infomercials.

But in recent years, he's totally backed off from public appearances and even a number

of his friendships.

Simmons responded to growing concern about his wellbeing by calling in to talk-shows

in March 2016 to insist that, quote, "no one should be worried about me.

The people that surround me are wonderful people who take great care of me."

Rumors about the reasons for Simmons' sudden reclusive lifestyle have swirled for years.

The hit 2017 podcast Missing Richard Simmons, produced by self-proclaimed friend Dan Taberski,

attempted to investigate what was really going on with the star.

But it never really hit on a conclusion.

In response, Simmons spoke out again on Facebook in 2017 to reiterate that he's doing just

fine.

Gene Hackman

In his heyday, actor Gene Hackman appeared in some of Hollywood's biggest movies, such

as Bonnie and Clyde and The French Connection.

However, the actor, nearly 90 as of the making of this video, has been off the screen and

out of the limelight for over a decade, with no known plans to return.

A 2010 Newsweek article proclaimed that Hackman has officially "quit the movies."

And in May c 2017, Radar reported that Hackman had moved to Santa Fe, N.M, where he is focusing

on painting and writing novels, like 2013's Pursuit.

Meg White

Meg White, the female half of The White Stripes, is notoriously press-shy.

The band even had to cancel a 2007 tour due to Meg's "acute anxiety."

Since the band's official split in 2009, she's really gone off the radar, with former bandmate

Jack White telling Rolling Stone in 2014, "I don't think anyone talks to Meg.

She's always been a hermit…

When we lived in Detroit, I'd have to drive over to her house if I wanted to talk to her,

so now it's almost never."

Meg reportedly married Jackson Smith, Patti Smith's son, in 2009.

But the couple divorced in 2013.

Since the band's split, Meg seems to have stopped performing completely, though in October

2016, the band "reunited" to speak out against Donald Trump via Facebook after their song

"Seven Nation Army" was used illegally in a campaign video.

Doris Day

Singer and actress Doris Day was one of Hollywood's hottest commodities prior to her retirement

in 1973, having starred in hits like Lullabye of Broadway and Pillow Talk.

Since then, she changed her name, moved to a sprawling estate in Carmel, California,

and has been living a quiet life.

A lifelong lover of animals, she also started the Doris Day Animal Foundation.

Day did make an appearance in 2014 on the occasion of her 90th birthday to wave to fans

who had congregated near her house — marking her first public appearance in six years.

But other than that, she's embraced her retirement wholeheartedly.

And what's the best way to get rid of it?"

And this is Miss Dorothy.

So what do we think about that?

- I use Roundup.

- I was gonna say.

The glyphosate works.

- I use glyphosate.

- Okay.

- There's several things that will do the trick,

you could use, you know.

Some things seem to work better

during certain times of the year.

This time of the year when the poison ivy's just starting

to bloom, Roundup does, when it's actively growing,

Roundup does a pretty good job.

You might, I've had a little success mixing

a little 2-4-D in with Roundup,

because 2-4-D is a growth regulator,

and it actually causes plants to grow themselves to death,

the ones that it kills, but it might accelerate

the growth of the poison ivy a little bit so that it

can be more rapidly absorbed, the glyphosate.

But most of the time I just use straight Roundup,

and it might take more than one application.

And I will,

what I will do if it's, you know, like that on the picture,

I just spot spray it, realizing whatever I hit around it's

probably gonna be damaged a little bit,

but I'll sacrifice it to kill poison ivy.

If it's growing up a tree or something like that

I'll cut, I'll cut the stem.

And it's pretty easy to recognize poison ivy vines,

it's got all those hairs, hair-like structures on it.

I'll cut the vine, cut an inch of it out

so it doesn't graft itself back together.

And then when it puts new growth out below where I cut it

then I'll spray it, and it usually will be

really rapidly growing then because it has

such a massive root system, and I'll let it get a little bit

of growth there before I go back and spray it again.

But just stay with it, and with glyphosate,

and that's probably the safest thing

that you can use around here, around your house.

- But then again, there's probably somebody

who does not want to use glyphosate product.

So what do we do then?

Long sleeve shirt, pants, whatever, gloves.

- Rubber gloves, keep in mind the urus,

the oil, urushiol is,

is what causes the problems

and it is an oil, you can't see it.

It gets on you, it can get on your gloves,

and your pruning shears, and your clothes.

And it's like, you know, oils that you get

out of your lawnmower, something like that.

It stays, it doesn't evaporate, go away.

You get it on your clothes or jacket or something like that,

put it on six months later, and you grabbed it,

and it can still, it can still affect you.

So, you know, if you're gonna deal with it, I Tyvek up.

If I know I'm gonna be, you know,

and I'm very allergic to it.

For people that say they're not,

they just haven't got it yet.

(laughing)

You know, when it hits you it hits you hard.

But you know, you can use Tyvek and rubber gloves,

and throw that away.

You don't have to worry about washing it.

You know, you can buy those, you know.

Home and garden centers.

- Right, garden center.

- Have a lot of safety, pesticide safety gear.

But you know, you can use that kind of stuff and throw

it away when you're out there actively messing with it.

But, I mean.

You don't wanna use herbicides,

you can pull, you can pull it up all you want to,

and mow it down all you want to,

it's gonna keep coming back.

There's no way you can eradicate it that I'm aware of

without using a herbicide.

- Unless it's small enough that you

can get the whole root system.

- Pull it up by the root.

- Yeah, if it's small enough.

But it has to be really small.

- Yeah.

And, you know, the seeds are spread by birds,

and you may have some seedlings out there.

But most of the ones that I have in my landscape

that come up, they're not coming up from a seed,

there's a larger root system underneath there

and I might pull it up, and still, it's gonna come back.

Sean Spicer announced his intention to resign as White House Press Secretary as his role

Anthony Scaramucci attracted President Trump's attention after he was able to force CNN to

retract a fake story about President Trump leading to the resignation of three CNN journalists.

Sean Spicer will remain in his role as Press Secretary until August.

However, Spicer has been relied on less and less in recent weeks.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been filling in for Sean Spicer in the daily press briefing.

She has held more conferences than Spicer has in the last two weeks.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been designated to replace Sean Spicer and will take over

his role full time come August.

She is now the latest target of the media's abuse.

The mainstream media are already attacking the new Press Secretary.

The tolerant left are insulting her physical appearance, of all things.

Liberals are typically indignant when female Democrats are insulted for their age or looks,

however, nothing is off limits for hypocritical liberals hoping to tear down President Trump.

CNN has been using the least flattering photos of Sarah Sanders, insinuating that she is

overweight and cross eyed.

These attacks reduce the powerful Press Secretary to her appearance – which is utterly irrelevant

to her role in the press room.

Sean Spicer has already admitted that he is relieved to be out of the heat of President

Trump's White House.

It must be difficult to put up with this kind of slander and abuse from the media on a daily

basis.

Hopefully the communications shake up will allow the Trump Administration stay on message

as they continue to make America great again.

met more than 3 times' - sparking an instant 'I told you so' from the 'left' proving the

conspiracy of collusion is correct.

However, we note that the source of this new story, Russian Foreign Minister Sergie Lavrov,

compared these conversations to "children mingling at a kindergarten," making fun of

an NBC reporter, adding "maybe they met in the toilet?"

"When you are bought by your parents to a kindergarten do you mix with the people who

are waiting in the same room to start going to a classroom?

I remember when I was in that position I did spend five or ten minutes in the kindergarten

before they brought us to the classroom.� As a reminder, while the White House didn't

use this analogy to explain press reports of a second, undisclosed Trump-Putin conversation

at the G20 meeting in early July, it fits.

"There was no 'second meeting' between President Trump and President Putin, just a brief conversation

at the end of a dinner.

The insinuation that the White House has tried to 'hide' a second meeting is false, malicious

and absurd," a White House Official said.

And now it seems Lavrov is piling on to Western media's constant efforts to paint the relationship

one way, adding:

�They might have met even much more than just three times,�

�After the dinner was over�I was not there�President Trump apparently went to pick up his wife

and spent some minutes with President Putin�so what?� Lavrov said.

So when Simone and I first got together she was paying for everything I had no

money and I wasn't working that much and so I came with a five-year-old son at

and it would be like Brendon owes me $10, $50 for this $2,000 for this and there was

big tally I think it got up to 21,000. There you go $21,000. I do remember now.

At one point I remember we were chatting and

because I love an Excel spreadsheet do I just delete this Excel spreadsheet he

looked at me anyway yeah but I was like okay so but it was a different element

and you know I got to say that there's a few different aspects to this money in a

relationship to be such a touchy point just because you get married just

because you're in a de facto just because you're living with someone

doesn't mean that you have to share your money okay what what I would ask is that

you start to look at being a contribution to each other and what does

that look like for you you need to ask the question what does this look like

for me? What's going to work for me and what's going to work for him and me

being able to have that Excel spreadsheet and mark off you know every

time that we spent money on something and it was usually in the thousands I

think but it sort of relieved me in a way for that period of time it gave me a

sense of peace and that's exactly what you want to create with money. You don't

want to create stress you don't want to create it to be significant

you want to create a sense of peace with money - and you're also don't a hide

from it you need to you know talk to your partner about it what would you

like to see with money, how would you like this to look?

Ask each other questions rather than assuming the other person has the same point of view.

What you would like to create is something that is a massive creative

contribution to you and to the relationship

Welcome ladies

and gentlemen back to another wonderful episode of Minecraft survival Let's play it anyways today it has been a while

since I've done it in true believer and I think the last time I've done one was like I guess technically June tenth

or June ninth whichever it is now because that is when well I left on June tenth to go to Korea

and now I'm officially back recording videos that are new

and not prerecorded outdated in crummy as I mean the videos that I recorded before I left

or the two afterlife that I use and the one single player video

and the single player video was definitely not on par with everything else that we produced

and I'm going to apologize to you as once again I did apologize in the comment section I believe in the video itself

that I said I know it's probably not going to be the greatest in the world

but yeah we have to do what we have to do that way we can get the content out plus laziness at its finest So either way

this episode we will be I guess I mean if I can speak without interrupting myself we're going to be working on the

tavern slash in whatever you want to call it we're going to be finally adding the rooms inside of it decorating the

insides the attic building a staircase a bar hall I guess a sort of bar not really

and then a check in areas to it too and adding closets all these little spooky stuff to add to an already

and we're also going to be adding a tree outside of it that way kind of adds a little bit more greenery to it because

right now the docks is kind of looking at little bit empty

and that is definitely not what we want so we want to fix that problem

and we also maybe adding some more stuff in front of the wall OK Interesting we may also be adding more stuff in front

of the buildings itself because right now it kind of looks a little bit empty Can I quickly get out that way I can show

you guys so if we take a look we have like a lot of this and the space right in from the houses over there

and are all in just they are in general too we want to address that problem so we may be adding wagons that way kind of

looks like people are moving in.

And we may add some other things so yeah we want we want the deal with that problem before it becomes a bigger problem

later down the road so if he has have any suggestions don't forget the leave a suggestion the comma section below

and there will also be a fun little thing in a further part of the video I mean I don't have it done yet

but just just be ready for it let's get started in so before we actually go inside the tavern slash in whatever we want

to call it we're going to place the stone brick blocks over here that way kind of.

contains the grass in a prettier fashion them way like leaves the mat before because right now discount looks like the

and it's just not a pretty look I would say in I feel like it's a good way to deal with the problem in yeah so we're

also going to be building a tree right here

but for right now we're not going to be working on that we're going to be working on this wonderful inside that does

not look like the prettiest thing in the world but we do have the right stuff I believe we do

or will we have the right amount of materials anyways or we should have a decent bit

but we're going to get started I do have all my other monitor right now the actual what I've done in I use a creative

version of this world that way I kind of have everything planned out for myself

and we don't need that anymore so where's the Shelter Box can I put there now it doesn't break the torch that works

interesting and will get that settled right away so for starters we need our stairs

and we need the slabs that we have for this

and we also need the fences cuz right here we're going to be building all we don't need the stairs for this part do we

have no we don't actually have a bunch we actually use a good bit the cracked I believe so that's probably why

and so we're using this to make a check in area over here.

and I'm going to want to reorganize my image toward to be a little bit better that way it's just not all over the place

but yes we had this going on so we have like a little check in just like we're

and will get our tents wherever that is we need we need to reorganize our inventory and most definitely

but I'm too lazy for that so we have a nice little table over here if you like a white carpet is I guess adding more

color to the work color to the room than we want because we can use the typical pressure plate

but I just feel like a pressure plate does not give the right vibe

when we already have all this gray on the wall right you're in the yeah so with that we're going to start doing other

stuff so right here we're going to be.

OK We're going to break up the wall right here because we do not need that

and what what can I throw away we're not going the new.

I'm pretty sure or my boasts are going to quickly get rid of that and we're going to pick this up.

OK let's see I'm trying to think of things that I can substitute out most.

and one we're doing this replacing furnace is right here because at some Barzee you may have a person that's cooking so

that's what I think may be happening and I just messed up because now I can't do that.

This is difficult OK we're going to quickly grab some stone bricks then because this is just a pain in the butt.

problem of stairs on I'm actually connecting to each other which is really a pain in the blood layer

and it persists quite a bit in these builds when I'm like oh we've got to do this we've got to do that.

and now we kind of have what we're going for right now and while you're at it we will place this in there

and we will go and we're going to need to move you because you're going to be in the way

and they're going to be four rooms which should be really nice in my opinion

or will there really compact I would say and they they fit the job really well

and while we're also doing this that means we're also going at the place labs right here that I mean I guess it kind of

is it a good thing that we have to do that but it's what we have to do

and then while we're at it we will also play some oak logs right here and that means we will also need to tear the.

I believe so if I can do this real quickly and let me go back down I probably should play some ladders right there

but I don't feel like doing that at the moment

and we need to remove the torch to him at sea so we can places all the way across like that.

And we should be good on that department now some of these rooms are really small

but I mean they're fine in my opinion I don't know to you guys but I mean they may seem really small

but they they do the job still believe

or not which is a bit insane that we're still able to fit like all the stuff that we need in those rooms too so let's

see I believe how I did this is. No we did it like this right no but I do this through.

Let me see so if I had a look we had the doorway store rate here and OK Me Maybe it is right I have no clue

but this is the biggest room over here and it does seem a little bit off I'm not too sure.

Besides that we're going to continue along and let's see put She wrote a cross over here

and I believe we want to have the doorway be we want to have in the same two down so we're going to have a rate here

Also are at it we can play some of the fences right here

but these fences are essentially used to keep us from falling down like incorrectly so that way people can't sue the

building or taking damage when they shouldn't be and it still works perfectly fine

and yeah so now we're going to take some ladders play some right across like that

and I think we need to sleep so we're going to get that settled right away. I'm not too sure how we had.

The but we're going to sleep right away and let's see so the bit is place like this let's get that settled away

and do we have our chests Yes we do do we have her paintings is another question in ng's now I think another thing I've

noticed is that paintings acts really stupid which is annoying like they try to place the biggest formats possible

which is relatively annoying in my opinion but that's just me

and now what we're also going to do is we're going to place some slot

or some stairs like this that we kind of adds a different feel to the room than all the other rooms

and then we're going to play slabs all the way around.

And then we're going to place it a lake that way kind of has a smoother transition wall except that part right there

and then or we're also doing this we're going to have some bookshelves that we're going to place right now

and let's see where the bookshelves that we have the oh they're in the stupid shocker box

and let's grab them out of here I think that's all we need we may need more slabs so walked take those real quickly

just in case and then we'll play some like this and we'll do that that way we kind of have like a bench slash table

or a here and what we're also going to do to

and I don't have the ability the do that so what we're really going to do right now is place this right now a flyer we

probably should make several of those what am I doing will make.

You know we're going to be more OK we'll make six for right now we may need more but ideas to place a item right here

or flower and if we could or we would place a cactus right there

but currently right now we don't have a cactus so we're going to deal with that for right now

and that way it's kind of in the light here you and that's not really the greatest positioning

but it's kind of the thought that counts for the situation and then.

We're going to place a chair for ourselves and then it actual flower pot that resembles a cup for us

and yeah what are you doing in here Mr Enderby and that is just odd OK And well we got that room settled away

and now we can settle this room

and I probably should move the workbench up we're yeah we're going to do that move it up real quickly that way we can

get it settled away and we're going to make some beds. And yes we have to make some white beds for right now.

but will deal with it so now what we can do right now this is not right something is wrong.

We need to move Yes we do have to move this over by one because the idea anyways is to have it word there is a certain

like design over here so how to explain to you as well showing it place that real quickly.

Let's see but means we're going to want to break this down. And does that mean.

In ways which is pretty nice in my opinion we've added some the closets to you

and while we're at it we do need to add the doors later

but for right now we're not going to do that because that will mess up the village

or breeder that we have over there but before we leave this area

and go to the attic I would like to mention to you guys that in the comment section whoever like says that they want to

room they can claim a room I will put up a sign saying that this is your room so there are three rooms that are up for

grabs and one of them will be mine aka this room will be mine

and you guys will you will to choose which room you want this is room number one room Number two every number three so

yes get the choose which one you guys want out of those three first three people that claim them will be able to choose

which room they want and the name that they get that be put on there

and they may have the ability to add something custom to this maybe a banner of their own

or something like that I don't know I mean you're more more than welcome to suggest in the comments section

but I figured this is a nice little way to give back to you as a law yes interact more in yeah so either way we're

going to go to the addict in get started so yeah hope to see a bunch of guys trying to claim some rooms.

and that is by placing some of this parade now so for to explain what I'm doing is basically putting some I guess dark

lighting were not really the best lighting up here because I feel like.

I guess in reality I don't feel like how do I explain it I don't feel like addicts have the best lighting in the world

sometimes it's a little bit creepy looking sometimes it's just not a brightest

and I feel like this gives the best vibe at doing so

and we got to move you real quickly as we are going to be placing three cauldrons

and let's see I believe we place you like this that way we can maximize how much we want to put in I guess I can jump

up.

But yeah so we're going to do that

and place this across like there if I can do that which it looks like I can't so I do need to make some trip wire hooks

How do I make those. Three require.

but I forgot about that because really you strap chests that often and do we not I don't really think so

and I even use it in this where I don't know not even too sure I may be forgetting

and we're going to make as much as we can stick some chest with this that way we can have there

and then we can stick that iron back and we will fly away now and we should be able to get this done

and settled with right away and yeah.

means maybe a flip table

or a table in general that way just kind of looks cool add some more stuff furniture in reality.

We also want to move this because that isn't the way and we want to add some pruning stands

and we're also going to add some bookshelves to.

Add it like that I guess it's a bit clunky looking but we're going to deal with that for a now

and I guess we might as well just place there for I mean because well yeah just place as much as we can we do want to

play some birds so that means we need to make some. Word our work bench go places.

Oh I am blind OK so we're going to want to make some birds that means we're going to need to make some planes that

settled away. In them a place to them. Rare a kind of placing in areas that we don't want to. And Will places like.

One key right there and then we also need to play some stuff over here

and that will be some more chest that way we can just maximize what we.

And that means will place one like this like that and then like that

and that's basically it for the attic which is pretty nice in my opinion that way we have everything maxed out.

Now for the rest of the video we are actually going to be working on a custom tree and I think we'll have fun with.

That I'm hoping it turns up pretty good it may not I don't know because all know that should turn out fine he has a

ready done it but I don't think it looks the greatest in the world

but will deal with it can I drew you in we're good on this part right now

and we're going to move all the way down here and come over here

and get started so we're going to want to take our shocker box and take out some more logs just in case

and let's move our actual spectator in our creative world all the way down

and get started now so we're also missing one of the other main components that we need for this

and that is fine I feel like vines would add greatly to this so eventually I'm going to go in I guess to the mine where

we currently have them set up at am I going to steal some of them I don't even oh yeah we we had it at the mine because

we were.

Already doing with them oh we were making

and were kind of making mine look a little bit older in aged in that's what we were doing so they're currently day are

growing and I feel like we probably should use some of them. You know we're currently getting stuck. Let's see.

and then what we're really going to do right now is just place leaves until it looks pretty in my opinion which

making these custom trees and me.

Which is it really nice but I'm trying my best to do you better at doing this

and there is a little bit of a lag spike right there which is really hard.

But then again I do you have to my crafts open which could be why

and we're going to want to add the for oil edge right here. They are. At it right there CAN I GET IT OUT No I king.

And I do that does that look you know it really does not so I'm going to keep working on this tree

and I think we may call it an episode I don't know if we want to have a little droopy looking.

Hi, hello, welcome to "counseling & words" and to my word of today which is the Te

Reo Maori word "turangawaewae".

You might know that I live in Wellington, New Zealand

and that's why I want to introduce "turangawaewae" to you. "Turangawaewae" is one of the

most well known and powerful Maori concepts; literally "turanga' means

standing place and "waewae" means feet. So "turangawaewae" is often translated as

a place to stand. "Turangawaewae" are places where you feel especially

empowered and connected; they are your foundation, your place in the world.

They are your home. Well I am a native German speaker, and in German exists the

word "Heimat"; and by looking up both words Heimat and "turangawaewae" I realised

that both words have the same meaning. Heimat comes from the old high German word

himoti and the old Dutch word heimitha and "Heimat"- just like "turangawaewae"-

refers to a place towards which one has a strong feeling of belonging, and

usually a deep-rooted fondness. It's not necessarily the place where you were

born but it is the place where you feel a strong connection and belonging. Did

you know that nearly 60,000 new immigrants come to New Zealand every

year for a variety of reasons? What they have in common is that they come to live

and stay - at least for a while. They are looking for a new home, they are

looking for "turangawaewae" or a new "Heimat". I came here in 2008; but the first

immigrants came here around a thousand years ago. Kupe and his tribe were the

first Polynesian people who set foot on this country; and legend says that his

wife Kuramarotini devised the name Aotearoa,

meaning "long white cloud" on seeing the North Island for the first time. The

Maori name for New Zealand is Aotearoa, "land of the long white cloud".

Kupe and his people and all the generations after him found a "Heimat",

they found "turangawaewae" in Aotearoa. And now come with me to the Wellington

waterfront on this sunny Winter day. Kuramarotini she was the one who gave New

Zealand its name. Aotearoa "land of the long white cloud".

Almost a thousand years ago Kupe and his tribe set foot on this country to

find "turangawaewae", a "Heimat", a place to stand.

In our world today many people are on the go. They move, they are forced to move,

they flee their home countries for whatever reason. All these people live in

countries or in places they were not born in. They have to get to know and

learn other languages, cultures and rules. They don't have a safe place to stand.

"Turangawaewae" is not experienced yet and their "Heimat" is gone. "Turangawaewae", a

place to stand. But what does that mean? Having that place will make you feel

secure, accepted, acknowledged and loved. You can speak freely and give your

opinions openly, because it is allowed, and because you mean something to the

people around you. You can stand upright by yourself, proudly and listened to. Your

voice can be heard. You are part of that country, you are a valued member of a

group. The well-known feelings of foreignness will be gone, when you've found

"Heimat" and "turangawaewae". This won't happen overnight, or in days weeks or

even months. No, it can take years until you feel accepted. Feelings of not

belonging will still show up every now and then, but that doesn't really matter,

because you know that you have found "turangawaewae" and that will help you

to get through these recurring culture shocks. Yeah, that was about my Maori word

"turangawaewae", a place to stand. I hope you enjoyed the talk, thank you so

introduce a book to you. It's the book, I have it here, it's the book "So you are

free - making it home", and well I wrote the book

a few years ago. It's published in two languages in English and in German. The

German title is "So you're free - zuhause ankommen", and well in this book I try to

find out how or if people can find their place in life; and I also conducted

interviews with 12 immigrants from different cultures and backgrounds. I
